Speaker 1 (00:00):
Success in life company? What is it you want?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Give your best effort, show me what you got.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
If you want to be a success, you gotta have.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
It's the Burt Pathyany Coaches Shoe presented by Kobe and
Shepherd Reelders and First Community Mortgage, a competitive combo championship
results and here's your host, Jeff Siede and Bolder head
football coach Urt Pathy.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
And W Mooe and the Molar Broadcasting Network present the
Bert Bathyani Show, which features the head coach of the
Moller Football Crusaders, Bert Bathyani and three times GCL champion.
Show is sponsored by Komy and Shepherd Reeltors. I'm Jeff
Schneidel with Komyan Shepherd Reeltors and with W moe and

(00:48):
the Molar Broadcasting Network and with the class of nineteen
eighty four. Always great to sit down with Coach Bert
Bathyany and coach how we doing today? Week thirteen playoffs.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
We're getting the meet again, so that means it was
good last week, so hopefully we can keep this thing going.
But every week is a blessing, so we got to
keep working hard and keeping the main thing the main thing,
and focus on each each game as it comes and
just take care of business from here on out.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
A slight correction to my initial comments three time in
a row GCL champion, but thirty one time. So yes,
a lot of that groundwork was zero. A lot of
that groundwork was set by a man that passed away
this week. That, of course, we're talking about Jerry Faust
and coach I know, you know, probably growing up you
were probably aware of Coach Faust, and probably before you

(01:37):
ever had the thought of taking over the rains here
at moll Or High School, you probably knew an awful
lot about him.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah. Well, first off, what an honor just to be
at this school with so many great coaches that came
before me, but headlining that coach Foulest, who is a
Hall of Famer and in every single right. But what's
funny is my freshman year of college, he came and
spoke to our team, and I remember I knew the name,

(02:03):
but when they said that he went from Molar to
Notre Dame, and you just think about that jump and
like how successful he was to then be sought after
to go to Notre Dame. It's just incredible. But he
spoke to our team and just like he does. Any
time he speaks, you're hanging on every single word that
he's saying, and he just captures the audience with his

(02:24):
personality and you're on the edge of your seat. And
that's what he did with his players. And I think
the coolest thing that's happened this week is all the
outpouring of responses from old players and coaches who just
talk about him as a man and how much he
has impacted their lives as menim Molar And that's what
I think every coach who's in it for the right

(02:46):
reasons strives to be is twenty thirty years down the line,
as your players are thinking about you in that way.
I know I think on my head coach like that,
and I'm grateful to have him in my life. And
so our hearts go out to the family, obviously and
all the players, and you know, we have a great loss,

(03:06):
but it's also a celebration because Heaven gained another angel
and we know he's gonna be looking down on us
Friday night, and our whole goal is to make him proud.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Well. In Molar High School, really, if you think of
it as a young school, I mean started nineteen sixty.
I mean, we didn't start nineteen oh five or whatever.
So although as we get farther down the road, you know,
Coach fows was here for the first twenty years. I
mean he hasn't been here for almost forty four years,
and his legacy and what he did, you know, honestly,

(03:38):
I mean he's probably the number one person that's putting
Molar High School on the map. We got tremendous so
many other people that have contributed to that as well.
But as far as you know the word, someone sees
a Molar shirt and an airport and they know they
know what it is. It's not like, wow, is that
you know who? No, they know that's Molar High School
and that's Jerry Fowles.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yep. He started all that. He created, that that persona right,
that that pride within the school and that and that tradition.
And you know, when I first got the job, I
read one of his books. And another thing is they
talk about the pepper rallies Yep, that they had and
those were legendary and it was so cool with like
classic coach Foules. He involved everybody and everyone felt like

(04:21):
they had a piece in the team, and it was
a we not me type mentality, and that's just who
he was. He's the I mean, he hasn't been here
for forty almost forty five years, and we're still talking
about him in this way. How many high schools have
a statue of their football coach out on their practice
field that the players walk by every single day, So

(04:45):
we've we've paid attention to that this week more than
probably we have. And then when news broke, we went
out to Marry's statue in our beautiful courtyard and where
he spent a ton of time. And the three things
that he always prayed for is to meet a good
Cathol girl to Mary, which he did, to win at Moler,
which he did, and be the head coach in Notre Dame,
which he did. And you know what a great example

(05:07):
of the power of prayer. But we went out there
as a team, and I won't go into much detail,
but we tried to honor him in the way I
think that he would want to be honored. But he's
been in our thoughts, especially in my thoughts, this whole week.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Well, and it's no different today. You think about going
from a high school to Notre Dame, I mean, no
disrespect to any of the other days or lower level
you know. I mean you could kind of see that
to go to a you know, Louisiana University or something
that's you know, lower D one or something. But you're

(05:41):
talking notre damn.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
And this was back in nineteen eighty and no respect.
I mean, this was after I mean they were in
their heyday, right, Like, this is unbelieving, not that they're
not now, I'm not trying to say that, but it's
just it's incredible to think, like the head high school
coach takes over one of probably the most storied college
football program in America. It is incredible. And here's the thing.

(06:08):
After that, he's still revered there. Yeah, they still love him.
They talk about how he's one of the finest men
to be. It's it's incredible. The legacy that he's late,
it's just it's unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
He was absolutely everything they wanted. He just didn't win
enough football games. But as far as a man that
was to the tea, yeah, I mean in faith and
just just incredible with that. And you know, the just
real quick, a real quick story. When I got early
in my real estate career, I went and I had

(06:41):
a call and I called on A guy ends up.
He's a Saint X guy ends up. His dad's a
his dad is a a longtime football coach. Didn't know
that he's the saying X guy. We're talking. You know,
we have Moller Saint X going. I mean, I ended up,
we did the business, we got his household, that type thing.
But he looked at me and he's is I will
never forget. When my dad was on his deathbed, Jerry

(07:04):
Fouss came down from Akron and sat with him for
like three hours, and he said, no one ever knew that,
no one ever knew that he ever did that, and
that that types that's just what he did.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah, and he would take he would take his captains
over to Mount Adams and they would they would pray
over there. I mean, he just I mean, the stories
are endless. And Barrett had a cool video of Coach
Foules where he said, like, what do you want to
be remembered as? And he just laughed and said he's
just worried about getting heaven. And I think that is
all the great response my coach. And I just you know,

(07:42):
I didn't get the I got to meet him one
time and we get to have lunch, and I met
his wife, I met his son, met his daughter. Just
an amazing man. And just in the little bit of
time that I got to spend with him, I even
get a little bit emotional just thinking about him. And
I think about the foundation that he's laid for all
of us to be here, Like and you look at

(08:04):
this school and what it has become. You know, he had,
He's in the fabric of everything. So he's the epitome
of what a man of Moeler should be. And we
all try to strive to be like him so well.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
And and I knew him ever since I was a
young and his family knew his family. His Jerry Junior
was a year behind me at All Saints Well. And
Jerry never did get a chance to go to Molar,
Jerry Junior because because of the year he was going
to come to Molar as dad goes to Notre Dame. Yeah,
kind of tough there. But you know, Jerry Faust knew
everybody by name. He just he had an uncanny ability

(08:40):
just to know everybody by name. And I really think
the credit to Coach Faust is he really he didn't
surround himself with good coaches. He surrounded himself with great
coaches and great men, and I mean that is what
happened put Moller High School on the map.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
I mean you got the Gilattes, you got the Klonies,
you got the you know, the Clark. I mean all
these guys that he got in and they got you know,
that boat got going in the right direction big time.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
And Coach Foust was just something just just one of
the kind man, just just unbelievable, one of the kind.
So but he certainly made his imprint here at Mueller
High School. And uh, you know, for someone that hasn't
literally been here as part of the staff, let's say
for over you know, forty years, to just be revered

(09:32):
as he is, that just speaks volumes.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah. Well, I mean today's Thursday, and we'll be doing
our benediction service. And the reason we do our benediction
service is that's what Coach Faust did and our our
our team chaplain is Deacon Nate and then Coach Mason
and Michael Blum helps headline our faith formation. But we'll
be doing our benediction service today and it was really cool.

(09:57):
I think it was Deacon Nate or or Mike Mason
said this picture to our chat and it showed a
Molar football player and his pants, those school pants at
the stars on the side, and he had the the
the I forget what it's called, but the the thing
that has the incense in it that you burn right right,

(10:17):
My mind's slipping and that's what we have at ours
as well. Yeah, and as a picture from all the
way back in the late nineteen seventies of a Molar
football player holding the exact same thing that we're doing.
And it's just like a coach. I know he's listening
from up above, but we're trying our best man, and
we're trying to, you know, build off the legacy that
you built.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
And well what a footprint he built, and a lot
of the traditions, like you said, are still done today.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I mean that that in itself says volumes and.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
The skull and crossbones, the stars, like the praying at
the statue, like everything like that's that's what he did.
So that's what we do.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Most importantly, your faith as an individual, and that's what
he led people literally to the promised lamp. Yes, and
now he's up there.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
And and of course he does this during Princeton Week
and and honestly, he and Pat Mancuso might have been
the two coaches rivalry that really might have put since
an high school football on the map here.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yeah, but there's something kind of poetic about that too. Yep,
you know what I mean. You think about it like
of all weeks, and then you sit back and you're like,
of course, of course is this week right? Exactly? All right?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
So all right, so, uh, you know it's a it's
a sad week here at Mohler, but a very week,
very much a week of thanksgiving and appreciation for coach
Faust and family.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Certainly he had a great family support, uh, starting with
his wife Marlene. And you know, we can all aspire
to be how coach Faust was and uh and how
he lived his life. So so we'll end our first
our intro with that, and we'll come back and recap
last week's game. As you're listening to the Bert bathy

(11:59):
Andy Show, eature the head coach of the Molar Crusaders,
Bert Bathyani. The show is sponsored by Comyan Shepherd Reeltors
and heard here on w MOE and the Molar Broadcasting Network.
It's time for another great season on Molar football, and
it's always a good time to buy and sell real estate.
Contact me Jeff Schneedel, the voice of the Crusaders but

(12:21):
also Molar Class of nineteen eighty four. I can be
reached at five one, three, four eight four zero six
sixty six. Go big Mo. You're listening to the Bert
Bathyani Show, which features the head coach of the Molar

(12:43):
Fighting Crusaders. It's Bert Bathynni and the show is sponsored
by Comyan Shepherd Reeltors and heard here on w MOE
and the Molar Broadcasting Network. We are in Week thirteen
playoff week number three, but you can't get there unless
you win Week twelve. Coach, we took on the Lakota

(13:03):
East thunder Hawks, which, uh on my game notes it
said Thunderbirds.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I was just about to think thunderbirds because that because
the Coda West is the Firebirds. I was thinking you
were going to say the same.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Well, I rolled with I rolled with the Thunderbirds for
about over a quarter and Rob Foltz wrote it down
and kept tapping, and I'm like, oh, that's right, they
are thunder Hawks and so but then kind of the
game kind of changed at that point, and I said,
I'm going back to the other name if we but
just a little uh, a little superstitious there. But coach,

(13:35):
you know, we come out and I guess the only
way I can say it is, you know, we win
the toss, we get the we're going to take the
ball in the second half where we defer however you
want to look at it, just outright explosive on defense.
That really just set the tone. I mean, what a
job by the you know, the defensive line and the
defense in general. It's one thing to get that pressure,
it's another thing. You got to make sure everybody's covered up.

(13:57):
And I tell you what, they were scrambling from the
from the go.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, we were getting a lot of pressure on the quarterback,
who's a tremendous player, and we were aware of his
abilities for the last couple of weeks, right like, so
we knew exactly what kind of player he was, and
we had a ton of respect for him and the
running back and the explosive players that they have on offense.
That's a tremendous offense. So we were dialed in all

(14:21):
week and our players were dialed in. You can just
feel the tension during warm ups. And they came out
and they did their job, and we had forced two
turnovers early. One was a pick six, but we scored
off the other one as well, and that really led
to the fast start.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Right well, coaches, and again, yeah, we get up seven
to nothing, we get the ball back, we're up fourteen
to nothing, and really just because of that pressure, you know,
their quarterback just he was running every which direction he
could and he just made a bad throw and Bradley's
right there with the cash and man, you talk about

(14:57):
open territory ahead of him. Wow, was like perfect. And
you know it's twenty one to nothing and it's like, wow,
this is like incredible.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Then to be up thirty five to nothing, yep, and
man like things are rolling, you know, giving them credit.
Then all of a sudden, he kind of whatever they
figured in, he got in a little bit of a groove.
And then it's thirty five twenty one and it's like,
I'm like, I'm not liking this because I'm sure you
want a sideline. We're like, this isn't fun anymore. We
were having fun thirty minutes ago.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
So you know, the all of a sudden it's you know,
it's thirty five twenty one, and then and then what
a response.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Yeah, we were clicking on all cylinders, I think in
the first half, and then we gave up a gave
up a score, and then our offense struggled to move
the ball. We had a shorter drive. I think we
got a first down after two plays, and then on
third and six we didn't convert and him then hollered
about going forward on fourth down there and we decided

(15:54):
to punt to make them go to the length of
the field, and I think they ended up scoring with
what like less than a minute left. Was that what happened,
And we get the ball and we wanted we had
a little bit of success on the first run, so
then we're like, all right, let's push it a little bit,
try to get a field, go out of this, and
then incomplete pass wasn't worth it. So then we went
at halftime because we get the ball back and we
have a really good drive to start, and then we

(16:16):
just the most bonehead thing in the world. We didn't
get the time out called before and that's one hundred
percent on me. And then they get a quick score
right away and then you know, we missed the field goal,
and then they get that quick score so that it's
thirty five to twenty one, and then Carson ko Man right, like,
our kickoff return team has been pretty special this year.
We were really worried about that unit two because they

(16:38):
do so many on side kicks. They have three or
four different looks that they've shown throughout the year, and
they do onside kicks out of all of them. So
we've even added more practice time this week for on
side kicks to get ready for it. We changed personnel
to be ready for so we were locked in and
dialed in on that play. They kicked a couple short ones.

(17:00):
Our guys executed it right away. The one time they
kicked it deep. Carson Data takes me back to the house.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Well and their kickoff setup. I thought it was interesting.
I made mention of all five are outside the numbers.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
I'm like, well, this is kind of a little interesting. Well,
then trying to figure out what they're gonna do.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
They get like a little horseshoe deal as well, and
like one side would jet out and they try to
sky it, they try to onside kick, and then they'll
do it to the other side. So it's that balancing
actor where you got to be condensed in case it's
a surprise on side, but then when they go out,
you got to disperse, but you can't get out leverage,
but you can't be too aggressive because then it was
They did a good job of it. But our guys

(17:35):
give him a ton of credit. Give Adam mcclann. Our
special teams coordinated a lot of credit. He was dialed
in all week and had a great game plan to
defend that and they executed it really well. And then,
like I said, the one time you kick a deep boom,
Carson K showed how explosive he really was. So that's
three guys now landon Adams, Chris Bradley, Carson Ko returned

(17:57):
a kickback for a touchdown, which we're proud of. And
I mean, I think Matt Fogler topped out at twenty
one point six miles an hour on that touchdown run.
I think Carson was faster than Matt on that kickoff
return because he was shot out of a cannon and
showed how explosive he really is.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
I ever think we'd be talking about miles per hour
with these guys running now.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
No, like our ethletic trained staff and our strength staff.
They give these these GPS monitors for a guy, so
we get all kinds of data back on them, and
it's become a little competitive about who can run the
fastest as well. And then they posted of who's who's
the fastest in the country too, so it's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Well, as someone who can't get probably into the double
digit range mile per hour, I'm not that's really not
a big statistic for me.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
No, that's fine, that's fine.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Now, it's it's pretty cool. It's well, they're statistics, there's analytic,
there's everything. You got everything, you can't do anything without
it getting jotted down. So that kickoff return and we
kind of you know, got the momentum back and and
took care. But you know again, when their quarterback started
getting in a little at a rhythm, it's like that's

(19:02):
just like, you know, kind of like how we had
the onslaught. It's like, you know, we got to stem
the tide, and we did.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
They're they have great personnel and offense, they have a
great scheme. John does a great job, I mean obviously,
and they did a really good job. And then it
came down the turnovers and then red zone offense and
defense because we had two picks in the end zone
to end the game, right, like Jacob Craven's is a
huge play. Roman Mason with a huge play, and then

(19:28):
after that we're able to score touchdowns on a ninety
five yard drive and then a ninety seven yard drive.
So give our offensive line a ton of credit to
be able to just grind those plays out. And the
first one was a pretty quick one that was just
Matt going, but we got out of the end zone
by running the football then be able to take a shot.

(19:48):
But really really proud of our effort all round.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
I'm just thankful we came out like we were shot
out of a canon and got way up because we
didn't have that big lead. It would have been I mean,
who knows what happen, but it would have been just
probably a dog fight well towards the end.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
But we got business taking care of yep, let's play
a football, man. I mean, you're gonna play great teams
that have great coaches and they're here for a reason,
and you got to be able to execute on offense, defense,
and special teams. But our analytics like what we emphasize
it still holds true. Right if you take care of
the football and take it away on defense, if you
have explosive plays, if you score in the red zone

(20:25):
and don't let them score, right, like, all those things
add up to being successful. So really proud of coaching.
Oh guys, now they handle.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
That, you know, credit to the kids. We really have
done a really nice job on taking care of the football,
taking care of the pigskin. I mean that's just huge.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
I mean it's everything, so all that stuff. So it
really put out proud of our effort in all three phases.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
So fifty five twenty eight is the final that the
Crusaders role is they take down the Lakota East thunder Hawks.
And as we said, you can't get the week thirteen
unless you take care of week twelve, and that's what
the Crusaders did. So we'll come back to talk about
the upcoming game, a very familiar opponent as the Crusaders

(21:05):
look to keep rolling. You're listening to the Bert Bathyany

(21:48):
and go Big mo Welcome back to the w MOOE
and the Molar Broadcasting Network as you're listening to the
Bert Bathyani Show, which features the head coach of the
Molar Football Crusaders. Bert Bathyanni Show is sponsored by Comy

(22:12):
and Shepherd Realtors. I am Jeff Schneiedel with Komy and
Shepherd Realtors, but also do the broadcast and podcasts here
on w MOOE and the Molar Broadcasting Network and coach.
We get to get to take on a very familiar
opponent by the Princeton Vikings, who come in with a
ten and two record. They were eight and one in
the GMC. Of course, they were our first opponent of

(22:35):
the year as we won thirty eight to twenty one.
But you know, just to backtrack a little bit, you know,
a lot of their players didn't play in the Hamilton
game for whatever reason, but that cost them an outright
championship for their conference. So technically, if you want to
look at it, they're only lost all years than to us,
and I am sure they are salivating with the opportunity
to get another shot at us.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah, without question, is game one, and you know you're
still trying to figure the things out, So they're gonna
be a completely different team, you know, tomorrow night, and
then we'll be a different team. But make no mistake
about it, they are an incredibly coach football team. They're
they're highly talented on offense, ain't on defense. They're they're
really explosive on offense and on defense. Their stout as
can be. I mean, their front seven is really good.
They're athletic in the back end. So it's gonna be

(23:19):
a challenge no matter what, and they'll be ready. They've
had a circle and even after week one, right like,
we talked to our team and say, hey, we're gonna
face that team again. Get ready, right like, so like,
celebrate this victory, but this one doesn't really mean a
whole lot the next time will So we better keep
improving throughout the throughout the weeks because we will face
that team again, Coach.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Not uncommon first game of the year. Both teams kind
of were trying to figure each other out a little bit,
getting going. I mean, honestly for the first quarter and
a half. After the first quarter and a half, I
mean we were losing seven to nothing.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Yeah, that was I mean, that was our worst game
offensively all year. That was our worst one right right
in my mind. And our team knows that I have
that opinion about it, right, that that was not a
good performance by us offensively. And give them a lot
of credit, like they did a good job, you know,
stifling us in a lot of ways. If it weren't
for a couple of big plays, man, that's a different game, right,
And they got athletes on offense, right, Like their quarterback

(24:15):
can scramble and make a ton of plays. Their tight
ends are really really good, their backs are explosive, receivers
are explosive. So that make no mistake, like this will
be a this is gonna be a challenging football game
without question.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
And coach, you know, so we tie the game at
the five forty mark seven to seven. Uh, they give
the ball back to us, we punt back to them.
I believe that was the sequence where they, uh, they
had a chance to go ahead fourteen to seven.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
But yeah, we had a TfL and then they missed
a field goal.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Yeah, the turf monster I think got their receiver that
could have they could have went ahead fourteen to seven.
So you know, thankfully that their turf jumped up and
made the play for us. But we get the ball
back and then we score to go ahead fourteen to seven,
and then we get the ball to start the second half.
And of course we scored three times in a row. Yep,
well technically four if you want to count the Fueld

(25:06):
goal at the end to get to get far enough ahead.
But you know, we didn't get going early. But that
seems to be first game of the year. That seems
a lot different than the way we do things now.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Yeah, and who knows what the reason was, you know
what I mean? I mean, we just first game of
the year, right, Like same thing for them, right, they
there's stuff that they haven't seen any of our stuff
on film. We haven't seen any of their on film, right,
like they have new players and you're trying to figure
out where they're playing, and so there's more of a
feel it out type deal in the first game, and
you're trying to figure out who you are as a team,

(25:38):
right Like, we're trying to figure out what our identity is,
and it usually takes a couple of games. And I
didn't think we really found our identity until the same
next game. We really figure out who we are and
then you build upon that and you keep, you know,
moving forward. But the thing I'm most proud of about
our team is I think at every position group they've
improved traumatic throughout the year. You look at our offensive line,

(26:03):
our defensive line, tight ends, running backs, like receivers, dbs
like everyone, you name it. I'm really proud of our
growth from game one to now.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
And Coach you were very I mean, you said it
like most football coaches are going to say before the
season starts, team's gonna evolve and we're gonna we're gonna
look a lot different when we get towards the end
of the year.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yep. And that's that's how it always goes.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
And that's for both sides, right there.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
Yeah, no doubt.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Now the Vikings my sources tell me that outside of
the GCL teams we've beaten Princeton has we've beaten Princeton
the most of any team around.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
So probably played them the most too, right out right?

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Yeah, so we are thirty nine and seven, so we
could get to that that forty forty threshold and uh,
maybe coach Foulest will be up there and uh pull
some purse strings for us there. We'll take anything we can.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Get, and the playoffs will take anything you get, anything,
divine intervention or whatever, we will take it. But we're
gonna bring our best team on Friday, our best team
on Friday, and hopefully Coach Faust is looking down on
us and he's proud of the product these seas.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
And coach, you know, this is a outstanding team. They
beat one of the teams we could play if we
advanced to next week. Obviously we beat you know the
other team. Uh, but you know this is this is
just absolutely huge. This isn't just like waltzing through the
playoffs and then thinking you're just gonna win big again.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
No, it's never like that. And it's a rivalry game.
So throw record stats, everything out the window, throw it
all out the window. It doesn't matter rivalry. Games are different,
they're just absolutely different.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
So and I'd be remiss if I didn't say, you
know what, we got a rainy, cloudy day today, but
tomorrow the clouds are gonna move. Like Coach Connie said
in the at the Pep rally, you know, the skies cleared,
the sun came out, it was time for football tomorrow.
Absolutely there, it is so coach that that's epic with

(27:58):
Coach Clawnie and uh, you know, we just had a
great legacy of coaches here and it all started with
one man, Jerry.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Foust yep Absolutely so put a wrap.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
On that coach, go get them tomorrow night. Good luck
to the Crusaders is they take on the Princeton Vikings.
And if you can't get there or you can't get
a ticket, don't park on seventy five. That's not safe.
That's back old school. Probably there's too much bushes and
trees and things growing to anyway.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
B Mason, that's right, Yeah, there you go, keep.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Thinking Princeton, Princeton. Use there we go. Well, you know,
being park on seveny five, you're never going to see
the stadium. So just just if you can't get to Mason,
then tune us in on w MOE and the Molar
Broadcasting Never. I had to get a mulligan in here somewhere.
I mean, it was pretty clean broadcast up to that point.
But throw the flag, give me a mulligan whatever it is.
So coach, always appreciate the time. It's always great catching

(28:48):
up with you. A very very tough, but a very
special week here at MoMA.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Yeah, thanks man, God bless this.
