(00:03):
Hi there. You're probably wondering whyI'm talking about this. Well, I
think that all of us have hadour fair share of trolls out there,
those who, unfortunately do to whateverreason physical, mental, emotional, spiritual,
financial, marital, or whatever, are compelled by the enemy or their
situation to say untrue things about youor accuse you of wrongdoing, when actually

(00:29):
they've got demonic spirits oppressing or perhapspossessing them. So how do we deal
with people that launch untrue accusations againstus? Well, I'm Jerry, I'm
your host for Strange Clock podcast, and today I have a thought provoking topic
to discuss. It's about dealing withtrolls, negative reviews, and false accusations,
all while striving to respond in achrist Like way. So let's just

(00:52):
dive right in. In today's digitalage, it's not uncommon to encounter trolls
and negative feedback, especially for contentcreators, artists, and public figures.
How can we approach these situations witha christ Like attitude. It's important to
remember that responding in a christ Likeway doesn't mean we have to be passive
or completely avoid addressing the situation.First and foremost, we should strive to

(01:14):
cultivate empathy and compassion for the personbehind the negative comments. Understand that hurt
people often hurt others, and trollsmay be projecting their own pain onto you.
Responding with kindness and understanding can sometimesdiffuse the situation. So let's say
someone receives a negative review or afalse accusation. What steps can we take
to respond in a christ like manner. The first step is to take a

(01:37):
moment to pause and reflect before respondingimpulsively. It's essential to examine the criticism
objectively and determine if there's any validfeedback within it. If there is,
use it as an opportunity for growthand self improvement. However, if it's
baseless, if it's a baseless accusationor a troll seeking attention, it's crucial
not to take it personally. Thatcan be easier said than done, especially

(02:00):
when emotions are running high. Howcan we manage our emotions in such situations?
Emotions can be overwhelming. One powerfultechnique is prayer or meditation on God's
word, which can help calm ourminds and bring us closer to God's guidance.
Seek as wisdom and ask for thestrength to respond with love and grace.
Additionally, it can be helpful toconfide in a trusted friend, mentor

(02:21):
or spiritual advisor who can provide supportand guidance during challenging times. Now,
when it comes to responding directly, what should be our approach? It's important
to remember that engaging in a backand forth argument with trolls rarely achieves anything
positive. Instead, consider responding withkindness and empathy, acknowledge their opinion without
becoming defensive, and if necessary, provide factual information to correct any false accusations.

(02:45):
However, it's crucial to set healthyboundaries and recognize when it's best to
disengage from the conversation. Boundaries areindeed crucial, especially in the online world.
Now, what about forgiveness? Howcan we forgive those who have intentionally
tried to harm us? Forgiveness isa challenging but necessary practice. Remember that
forgiveness doesn't mean condoning the behavior orforgetting what happened. It's about freeing ourselves

(03:07):
from the burden of anger and resentment. Pray for the strength to forgive and
ask God to help you see theperson through his eyes. By doing so,
you can find healing and peace withinyourself, and so before I conclude,
my final thoughts would be to encourageeveryone to remember that our response to
negativity reflects who we are as individualsand as followers of Christ. By responding

(03:30):
with love, grace, and understanding, we can create a positive impact on
those around us, even in theface of adversity. Thank you once again
for joining us today, and toour listeners, remember that the way we
handle criticism and negativity can be atestimony to the transformative power of Christ's teachings.
And that concludes today's episode of Strangeo'clock podcast. Thank you'll for turning

(03:50):
in. Thank you all for tuningin. Remember to love your trolls,
responding kindness and led your light shinein the darkest of places. Until next
time, Stay Strange and christ Likeby
