Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome. Thank you so much for watching this
shows all about giving you insights and jocasing brands that
help you to live your best life and give you confidence.
As always, I want to kick out your morning with
some motivational advice to help you to feel inspired and
energize to start your day today. I want to talk
about the importance of training your mind to see life
as always working out for you, even when it seems

(00:22):
quite the opposite. The reality is it's easy to fall
into the trap of feeling like a victim and seeing
life through a lens of everything working against you rather
than in your favor. But the reality is staying in
victim mode will never improve your situation or attract better circumstances. Instead,
when we take back our power and decide that everything
is working out for us, we not only feel better,

(00:44):
but we begin to see possibilities where there were once
only doubts. Even in the event where you experience failure,
reframe your perspective as it being a detour to even
more success. Simply by doing this, you transform a lack
mentality to a winning mindset because you chose to see
the good in every situation. Remember, the more you adopt

(01:05):
the belief that everything is working out for you, the
more your reality reflect that it is. As Winston Churchill
so famously quoted, the pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity.
Optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty. Next on the show,
we have Ronnie Magrove from the hit MTV reality series
Jersey Shore. Ronnie, thank you so much for being on

(01:26):
the show today.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
How are you doing. I'm doing good. Thank you for
having me.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Thank you for being here. I was just telling you that,
you know, I'm such a big fan of Jersey Shore.
I grew up watching it, so it's really nostalgic having
you here today. So thanks for being here. And happy birthday.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Oh thank you, Thank you so much. I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Which is your favorite the Old Jersey and then New Jersey?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
No, I like them both. I feel like the old
ones were fun, okat growth of the new ones too.
And you guys are you know, all settled down and
you guys are also inspiring a lot of people. So
but we'll get into that. But before we get into
the the success of Jersey, let's take it back to
the beginning. What made you audition for the show? And
what was the process.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Like, they honestly approached me. You know, I would always
go to the shore, Jersey Shore. I would go on
the weekends because it's so close to New York, so
we would all my friends would go during the summer.
So I was there fourth of July weekend of two
thousand and nine, and they just approached me and they
were like, you know, you fit the criteria of somebody

(02:27):
that we're looking for to do a TV show. And
I was like, oh, I look like a douchebag. So
I was like okay, cool. But then yeah, then it
basically it turned into like a video interview. The next
day I did the video interview. Then they flew me
to California. I did a video, I did an interview
out there, and then like a week later they called

(02:48):
me and they're like, yeah, we'll pack your stuff because
you're going to Jersey Shore for a month.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
And I'm like I can't do that.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I'm like, I have like a life, I have a
career in like work apartment, and I'm like I have
rand Like I'm like, what do you mean I'm gonna
go party for a month.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I was like, I don't know about that.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
I'm like, wow, Yeah, did you ever think the show
would be as popular as it is today? Like, did
you ever first see that it would be i mean
still around over a decade after?

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah, I mean no, we never expected any of us
that ever expected it to be this big. You know,
it's been sixteen years yesterday that the show's been around.
And you know, me and Vinnie used to joke because
me and Vinnie used to because in the beginning, we
didn't even know what network.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
We were on.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
We didn't have a name for the show. We were
just filming all of us. We had no idea what
we were doing. We didn't know what we were getting into.
We were just like having fun with each other, and
it honestly turned into this magical thing that you know,
it's still going on till this day, and I think
that that's pretty amazing. Not a lot of shows can
say that, especially in their reality field.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Absolutely, And as as we were talking about, it's been
around for over a decade, how has it been you know,
reconnecting with your housemates and what did you learn about
yourself in the process.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
It feels good to reconnect with my housemates. You know,
we have a bond that is unexplainable because we've been
through stuff together that you know you go through with
your family members or your best friends. You know, like
that that we go through everything together, from divorces to fights,
to makeups to break ups to everything, you know, So

(04:29):
we always had this bond and this connection with each other.
And I'll definitely learning in the process. You can't be
too hard on yourself. You know, you're allowed to make
mistakes and you grow from your mistakes. You know, we
all made mistakes in the old Jersey Shore and now
we're growing from them and were maturing from them. So
you know, it's okay to make mistakes sometimes.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Absolutely, I mean mistakes are necessary. That's how we grow
and we learn. So absolutely yeah. And what is your
favorite Jersey Shore moments?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
My favorite? There is a short moment I still to
this day I say.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I don't have a favorite moment, but I have a
favorite season, and I want to say it's Italy. When
We've got to go to Italy and live there for
like three months. That was pretty amazing. That was like
something that I never thought I'd be able to do
in my life, and that was something that I cherish forever.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
And Ronnie.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You know, you've been really open about your issues with
addiction in the past, and I know that you're using
your platform now to inspire others and help them tell
us about that passion.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
You know, It's part of my process that I have
to go through is to help other people, you know,
that are a need and that are going through what
I went through, or I'm trying to stop them from
going through what I'm what I went through.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
You know, It's like you want to kind.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Of stop the pain before it happens, you know, and
then if you can't, you want to help the people
get through the pain, you know, because you know that's
at the end of the day. As addicts, we're all
really hurting from something, you know, and it's like it's
just we have to get through it, and sometimes you
just don't know how to get through it.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
And that's why we return to whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
That we enjoy or whatever it is that is our vices.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
M hm.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
And you've also been open about your struggles with depression,
and I think there's such a stigma because I think
that there are so many people out there that are depressed.
They hide it. There's social media that you know, it's
so easy to hide behind social media. You know, how
has it been sharing your story and inspiring so many
people around the world.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
It's good to see that I can connect with people
and touch people with the things that I'm going through
in my life, and I can be relatable to people still,
you know. And I think that's why fans love us
and they can relate to us because we are relatable.
We are we are real, we are humans, you know,
where we go through the same stuff that they go through.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
You know, we.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Suffer from depression, you know. I think Angelina has depression
as well, you know, and it's like we all go
through it, and it's.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Like you just have to you know, you can't hide it.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
That's at the end of the day, because you can't
get through anything alone. And that's something that I've learned
too throughout my process. You've actually what I've learned, and
I've learned that you can't get through anything alone. And
that's the truth.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
And how did you get through that dark period? Because
I feel like a lot of people don't see the
light at the end of the tunnel and they get
stuck in that. So what's something that kind of motivates
you through that tough time.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
I want to say my daughter definitely motivated me because
I didn't want her to see me.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Live the life that I was living.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Because she is getting older and she has started to
comprehend what's going on, and she knows that I'm famous,
and she knows that, you know, I'm a celebrity, and
you know, I have a big platform because when we
go out, everybody wants pictures and everybody recognizes me. So
she is a big motivation for me because I just
didn't want her to see me in that dark place,

(07:53):
because I didn't want her to think that it's okay.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
To be like that.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I love that you're inspiring people and you're using your
platform to do so, because I think that's really important.
And you know, one thing that I love about Jersey
Shore is the strong bond that you guys all have.
I feel like, you know, you guys have grown personally
and professionally together. So how has it been sharing this
your success with the whole Jersey Shore team.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
We're all very proud of each other.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
At the end of the day, we're like brothers and sisters,
you know, and everyone's success it just it reflects on
all of us. You know, it's not just one person.
You know, we did it as a team and we all, yes,
we have our own single things, but at the end
of the day, you know, it all came because of
Jersey Shore and the magic that we have together as

(08:38):
roommates and cast mates.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
To be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
And Ronnie, I created my platform to inspire, to uplift
and to really showcase that anything is possible with a
dream and a vision. So for anyone watching this that
might be going through a hard time, maybe they're not
seeing their dreams manifest maybe they're you know, feeling low
or unmotivated. What would you say to inspire and uplift them.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Things gonna get better, you know everything.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
What I've learned from my therapist is that everything passes.
Everything is in the moment. You know, you feel a
certain way, but that's gonna pass. You know, if you're depressed,
it's gonna pass. If you're happy, it's gonna pass. If
you're sad, it's gonna pass. There's always a light at
the end of the tunnel because we all have to
go through motions of life, and motions of life are

(09:24):
not always good motions.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
At the end of the day, but it's like.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
You know, it's like we have to go through them,
and there is always a light at the end of
the tunnel, you know, because.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Nothing lasts forever. You know.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
You can't be happy forever. You can't be depressed forever.
You can't be sad forever. You know, things change and
there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
That's what I would tell them.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Absolutely, there's definitely different seasons and they're all needed, right
to really.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Yes, exactly.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, you need the polarity. If you're not if you
don't know what sadness is, you can't be happy, right
You need both.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
So I think that's absolutely yes.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
All yeah, and Ronnie, what else are you currently working on?

Speaker 2 (10:03):
What are your current projects right now?

Speaker 3 (10:05):
I'm just trying to get into the acting field, so
I'm doing that and I've been active on Twitch, you know,
trying to get a different demographic. I know it's a
little younger crowd and I'm just trying to connect with
my younger fans and stuff like that. And then I'm
just being a father honestly, you know, I focus a
lot of my attention on Arianna. I still have full custody,

(10:26):
so you know, I spend a lot of time with
her when I'm not working or filming Jersey Shore, So
she takes up a lot of my time with her
activities and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
And I know that you just came back from filming today.
What can fans expect from the new episodes of Jersey
Shore Family Vacation Any exciting trips happening?

Speaker 2 (10:46):
This last the end of the eighth season.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
I think is going to be pretty nostalgic, you know,
because we do a lot of things that are bring
back memories for.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Our fans.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
You know, we do a lot of things that they're
gonna be like, oh my god, I remember when when
they did this and they did that, and it's like,
hopefully it makes them want to go back and rewatch
the show.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
You know. That's kind of what we're trying to do.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah, and I did see all the castmates, all of
you guys. You guys want to I think Vegas for
a roast?

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Tell us about that Atlantic Yes, we actually were.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
We had a Jersey Shore Family Vacation roast in Atlantic
City at the Hard Rocks and honestly, it was pretty epic.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
It's I think that the fans.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Are really going to enjoy it. Everybody did a really
good job, believe it or not, and it's pretty It's
going to be probably one of the best episodes, I
want to say the season for sure.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Very nice, Ronnie, Thank you so much for being on
the show today. Congratulations on all your sixths.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Thats you love.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
As I said, I love that you're you know, inspiring
people with your story. Keep up the amazing work. And yeah,
thank you have an amazing birthday today. Thank you for
being here.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Thank you so much much. Thanks for having me. I
appreciate it.
