Speaker 1 (00:39):
It was an interesting moment for me at the time
because I really wasn't seeking someone or anyone, I should say.
I just hoped if I did meet someone that they
would be a positive person to meet everything.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
He would singing and doing what's making me fall in love.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
With her.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Fighting over custody. A lot of people quit, but when
that's just how we got to be, but she keeps
on fighting nine and it takes a lot of out that.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
Card the characters objection, where any of this evidence of this?
Speaker 1 (01:34):
I say to you, teteen thousand dollars to see myself.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
This is all about a child, a poor boy born
into a battle.
Speaker 6 (01:46):
You know what your lies, like God is supplies said,
I'm going.
Speaker 7 (01:50):
To supply your mind.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
You know what your lies, I'm going to supply God
is supply said.
Speaker 8 (01:56):
This is not that.
Speaker 7 (02:06):
You're trying to have a judge removed.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
I'll send from.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Her for thousands of dollars four coming to court.
Speaker 9 (02:15):
How much money is you?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Welcome to the Doctor Malika Clary show on the Bold
and Brave TV network.
Speaker 7 (02:48):
Will come in life, Yes, yes, Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I have to say thank you God for getting me
up this morning and my family safe keeping them safe
because yesterday was so interesting. Out of nowhere, we had
a tornado and I want to say that, oh my gosh,
this tornado did a little bit of damage and it
hit my office and thank God that one of my
(03:17):
loved ones she got out of there are safe and
everything like that, but it just hit and she just
got out of that area and the building got a
little destroyed, which I'm so grateful that God had protected
us because we didn't even know what was coming. I mean,
like all of a sudden, all the phones and sirens
was going off and thinks this was crazy, and I
(03:40):
guess that's.
Speaker 7 (03:40):
The way life is.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
You just don't know what's going to happen in the
midst of the day, and it was a storm. It
was just like wow. So I'm counting my blessings. The
prayers has been answered. I mean, thank you Jesus, because
I was on the phone like I'll you make get
out of there, all my goodness and thank good.
Speaker 7 (04:00):
And then she took a right instead of it left.
It was just.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Sometimes you just got to take a breath and just
say thank God because things could have been worse.
Speaker 7 (04:09):
But these are the things that's that I controlled.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
People hurricans and tornados and all that stuff, and.
Speaker 7 (04:17):
This was a it was a tornado that was like wow,
just out of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
People's phones wasn't working. We were like, wait a minute,
why is it not working? What's going on now? It
was just really hectic. So I'm so grateful that God
protected my family and I hope everyone else is okay.
It seemed like it just was going and I've never
really seen a tornado like that.
Speaker 7 (04:39):
I mean, people are showing me videos.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
I was like, oh, okay, and to be in the
midst of it, you know, so that's kind of scary
one sense, you know, But I got through it. So
here I am, you know, thanking God for just another day.
Like I always tell people, never take a day for granted.
You never know what's going on. You never know what
someone's going through, and we don't know, and you know,
(05:04):
you just got to hope for the best that whatever
it is, that it get you through it and try
to stay positive. And that's the thing about it. It's
not the water should have could have. It's what happened,
what didn't happen, unless move on. That's the thing about it.
It's not that you shouldn't did this. No, what happened
was that whatever happened happened, and we dealt with it
(05:27):
and we was able to move on.
Speaker 7 (05:28):
And that's kind of like what life is.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
It's not like we're supposed to keep looking behind our
back and say, hey, what what's going on now, you know,
with a little anxiety just because this happened.
Speaker 7 (05:39):
Oh it was a you know, something that happened.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
That's life, natural causes basically, and you don't look back,
keep going, okay, didn't take us out, Let's go. And
that's how life is. You try to stay straight. You know,
you don't dwell on the past. You don't dwell what
it didn't do, telling what you did.
Speaker 7 (06:02):
And move on.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
And that's what I always have to explain to people.
And that's how it is. Dwell on what you can do. Now,
let's leave the past behind the past. That's why the
past is because it's the word. It's the past, and
the past is in the past. So let's say with
the present so we can get a better future and see.
And that's how I have to think about it. Like that,
(06:27):
we all need to take that direction.
Speaker 7 (06:30):
Go forward.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
What you can't change in the past, you don't need
to it's done, it's written.
Speaker 7 (06:37):
Change the chapter. Well oneak.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
So with that being said, oh well, I have an
amazing guests today, and you know what, We're gonna take
a brief commercial and when I get back, I'm gonna
explain this amazing guest because she's wonderful and I just
I just think she's like you know a lot of
people I think they're like and I try to learn
from them. So I'm going to take a brief commercial
(07:02):
and I will be right back with the Doctor Milika
Claire Show on the Boat and Brave TV Network.
Speaker 7 (07:06):
Don't go nowhere and will be right.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (07:11):

About that.
Speaker 11 (08:02):
God bless you all.
Speaker 8 (08:03):
I love you all.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
It was really hard for me to do that movie
sometimes because at that time, because ten years ago is
what I went through, it wasn't then, So I had
to take Even they say you play yourself, it's not
really always easy to play yourself. You have to play
yourself ten years ago when your mind was just comboblated
(08:26):
and you felt betrayed, you.
Speaker 7 (08:28):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
You felt like, you know, life was just not it
and you know not in my situation. And it's based
on true events and you know, unfortunately it's about judicial deception,
but it's also about romance and drama and divorced. It's
something that just went to a different way, but as
I changed it and went into a movie. But what's
(08:49):
interesting about this situation people don't understand. It's a flow
technique for me. That was my release to finish this movie. Hi,
welcome back to the Doctor Milica Claary Show on the
Bolt and Pray TV Network.
Speaker 7 (09:05):
Will come in love. Yes, we are a live Okay,
So today's a better day.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
So yesterday was interesting, Today's a better day, So let's
do something different today. Like I wanted to also tell
you if you're looking for me to Doctor Milika clary
dot com. That's my website, or just google me. I'm
on the different social medias. There's Facebook LinkedIn ex, Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube,
(09:39):
and just google me. You'll find me sometimes, you know,
you might see something else.
Speaker 7 (09:44):
I don't know. I might be on that too, Spotify
or whatever. I'm there.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Oh, you could find me at least a show too,
that's in different platforms as well. All right, So this
young lady, you know what, I've met her into the well.
Speaker 7 (09:58):
I met her at the Gala, the.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
National Association of Top Professionals, and it was just a
wonderful time meeting her. She's a life coach, she is consultant.
I mean, she's an author. I mean, this lady does
it all. And you know, she gives off such a
wonderful presence of how you should live your life. And
she tries and that's all we want to know is
(10:21):
that she tries to make your life better. And it
might be some experiences she went through, whatever the case
may be, but still is to help you to make
your life better.
Speaker 7 (10:32):
And even though I know.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
All the things that she offers, I still want to
know about her. Like I said, when you're going to
doctor Malitha Claire Show. I want to know about the person,
so I think that's so important before we ask all
the things she does. So why don't you come on in,
fam and come in so I can introduce my wonderful
and beautiful guest, Caroline Burlinger.
Speaker 7 (10:53):
Can you come on in here, my dear welcome Caroline.
How are you worried?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I'm febulous, thank you? Yeah, really cool.
Speaker 7 (11:04):
I'm glad, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 11 (11:08):
Yes.
Speaker 7 (11:09):
It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
It was crazy, and I was like, oh my gosh,
get out of there because I didn't know how this
building was going to really perform because it's not a
new building, but still and now it's like, oh my goodness.
But she got out of there safe and went and
she hit it by she missed it by seconds.
Speaker 7 (11:26):
I want to tell you. She went right. It was
left home saved.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
I was like, oh, thank you jesus so And I
was tracking her all the way, you know, as a
mom or something. You're crazy like I'm jumping his car.
I'm gonna fight this storm too, and I'm just like
I didn't have to do that. She was able to
get here, and I was like, we're not far so,
which is good not far from the office, which was
(11:52):
really you know, like, oh my god, devastating when you
go through something like that.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
So but we were good.
Speaker 13 (12:00):
Recently recently had a cyclone. It wasn't as bad for us,
but no power for four days. And and you know,
Australia has a lot of.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Floods, fires, cyclones, all of that similar.
Speaker 11 (12:14):
Oh wow.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
But I'm always humbled by nature. That's always the plateau.
Speaker 13 (12:23):
I go out things outside our control always nature.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Yes, well, thank you for you you go. I gotta
remember that always. But I try to stay positive and
believe me, I was just kind of frantic, you know,
but I got through it.
Speaker 7 (12:38):
So that's something about what you do anyway.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
But you know what, before I even do all that,
first of all, I love your accent.
Speaker 7 (12:45):
I know you're from Australia. It's just wonderful. I love it.
I just love it.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I gotta say that. I gotta put that in there.
Just love your accent. Girl, got it, I got it,
I got it. I love it. Okay. So with that
being said, you know, like I said before I brought
you on, I know that you do a lot of things,
but you know, I always want to know about the
person and before I get into all the things that
you do, I want to know, who do you identify
(13:10):
yourself to you?
Speaker 4 (13:14):
I would identify myself.
Speaker 11 (13:17):
As you know.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Sometimes I like to say I'm just an.
Speaker 13 (13:19):
Ordinary person, and through my experiences, I've found that I'm
a really strong, resilient person. I'm a really positive person,
and you know, a lot of that's come by choice.
But for me, I just want to be an inspiration
to other people. That's probably I feel like that's my
(13:42):
purpose in life, that all those lessons have brought me to,
you know, that place in life where I can inspire
hope in other people.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
You know. And I asked that question because you know,
many people walk around sometimes I don't know the identity
and it's okay not to know or feel like I
don't know who I am. I'm still searching for that,
you know what I mean. And some people do feel
like that. I mean, you get a certain age in
your life and you kind of think yourself, who am I?
Speaker 7 (14:12):
You know, and I get it.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
But you know, some people identify themselves as a servant
to God, you know, because that's what they want to do.
And that's okay too. See that's not a quick question.
That's why I always asking. It's not like an answer
that I'm looking for. It's your answer. So it's not
something that's like, hey, what are you? Did you say
the wrong answer? No, it's really not. It's a human
(14:37):
answer and a human question. And how we look at life,
what we you know, who we feel we are to
ourselves and that's so important.
Speaker 7 (14:46):
So thank you for sharing that information.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
You know, I utilize my platform in many different ways,
and you heard me.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
I've talked about God and religion stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Now, not everyone is religious and everybody grew up on
you know, non bay Jesus or Holy schools, polygirls. That
to me is like the norms for me, But that
doesn't mean that's for everyone. Have you ever or are
you religious? And somewhat? You know, what direction do you
really follow? What would be that religion mechanism for you
(15:18):
or belief system?
Speaker 13 (15:19):
I should say, yeah, So I grew up a Roman Catholic,
went to church confirms and all that. I went to
a boarding school, Catholic boarding school. I probably stopped going
to church when I was about eighteen and started exploring.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
I liked I was invited into.
Speaker 13 (15:39):
Buddhism there for a while, when I was younger, I
also lived in Thailand. I would say, now I've explored
a lot of different religions and beliefs, so for me,
it's a very more.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
Energy and a universe.
Speaker 13 (15:56):
So I think everyone and everybody is connected by a
higher power. Whatever that means to you, and whatever you
know helps you, and that's why life I'm so open
to everyone.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Having a belief that supports them.
Speaker 13 (16:12):
Like it's not about who's got the right belief for
the best God or.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Anything like that.
Speaker 13 (16:17):
It's just if it's positive and it's helping you, then
you know, use that. And I think it's about connection.
So I still go to church. I would go to
any service. Like if someone said they were a religion
and they were my friend and said you want to come,
I go, yeah, absolutely, let's go, because I think it's
(16:41):
for me it's that spiritual.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
Energetic connection.
Speaker 13 (16:45):
And then there's the physical connection and community that religions
and beliefs can bring together to help people.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Oh you know that's wonderful displayed how you because.
Speaker 7 (17:01):
That's how I feel.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
I mean, it doesn't matter what religion long as to me,
as long as you're not hurting somebody, You're enjoying and
hurt somebody. Now, I know when you look at that
in a sense, some people might say, well, technically that
still feels like it's hurting my religion, you know.
Speaker 7 (17:18):
And the only reason because some people don't believe.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
In war, you know, and that so I have to
say that in that way that they were like, well,
they're hurting people because of this, and the other person, well,
you're hurting.
Speaker 7 (17:29):
Because of this.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
So it kind of works in that way that somebody
is still hurting somebody. But for me, as long as
you're not practicing, you know, I want to kill this person.
I want to do that to that person, and you
feel comfort and like, you know I and that's like
bullying in so many fashions.
Speaker 7 (17:48):
I don't you know, your religion is saying it hurt
another person. I have a problem with that now that
I have a issue with.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
So I was like, but I feel like you, like,
I don't care what you practice as long as you're positive,
And why do we have to make that such.
Speaker 7 (18:03):
A big deal.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
You love who you love, and if it makes you
feel good and you get up in the morning and
you're you're a positive person and we're good, why religion
have to be so debatable.
Speaker 7 (18:11):
But of course it is.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Like that, but this is not my platform to make that.
I'm just saying, I don't judge nobody, hear me, We
don't judge you, you know, no exactly Caroline. And at
that note, we are going to take a brief commercial
and will be right back with them with.
Speaker 7 (18:28):
The amazing Caroline and Beautiful.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
We'll be right back with the Doctor Millica Claire's show
on the Bold to Brave TV network, Do.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Not Go Nowhere.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
If I would be right back, it was because of
me having a voice and saying something about what had
happened to me, because I can't believe it. I can't
believe that these individuals put their good name and their
their reputation on the line just to hurt somebody because
(18:58):
they spoke up. Yes see, that's what happens when you
speak up. I get it, but I'm not fearful because
of that. Even though I went through a lot and
still go through a lot of things, I got God
on my side, and I feel like if that is
not enough, then I don't know what it is. Because
I'm still standing and I'm still telling my story and
I'm gonna keep on telling stories. And that is why
(19:20):
I like film, Because film you'll be able to express
things that you went through and experiences and people.
Speaker 7 (19:30):
You know, you'd be amazed what you can do.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Hello, a three Corners of Deception movie is now available
on Prime video.
Speaker 8 (19:42):
How about that.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
October fourteen, twenty twenty three, on my fiftieth birthday, I
am going.
Speaker 11 (19:49):
To release this and you.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
Guys could go ahead and help me do just that.
Speaker 11 (19:56):
Go see that movie.
Speaker 8 (19:59):
Thank you for all all the support and not giving
up on me.
Speaker 12 (20:02):
Go see that Three Corners of Deception.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
Release me from all the pain and everything I've been through.
Speaker 11 (20:10):
Go see the movie. Thank you.
Speaker 8 (20:13):
I love you all. Thank you for all of the support.
Speaker 11 (20:17):
Go see that movie.
Speaker 12 (20:19):
Prime video, Prime video.
Speaker 8 (20:23):
How about that?
Speaker 11 (20:25):
God bless you all.
Speaker 8 (20:26):
I love you all.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Welcome back to the Doctor Malika Claire Show on the
Boat and Brave TV Network.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
Well, come in line. We are still with the beautiful
and amazing Caroline. Come on here, you're back. I love it.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I love your hair. It's so pretty. I mean, I'm
telling you. A breath of sunshine.
Speaker 7 (21:05):
That's what it is.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
That's why I look light there, girl. I want some
bring some sun here. I know, I know, I know
you do. I want to get there. I'm telling you
how to get there, so you know what. And so
I'm glad that we left before we're talking about religion
(21:26):
and how we respect everybody's religion and that you went
on a journey trying different things and that's wonderful and
I really like that.
Speaker 7 (21:33):
I like to try different things.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
And you know what's interesting because I grew up Christian
and but I also grew up in the Hall as well.
Speaker 7 (21:41):
I mean we went to the Hall and Joe Witness,
they always was at the door.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
So we didn't fight that, so we were We tried
that too, so it was like okay, you know, until
you find.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
Your direction, say okay, which one I want to go?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
And it's okay not to limit yourself and say, hey,
when people ask us it's your church, I'll be like,
I don't. I have a lot of churches as I
feel I can go here, I go there. I don't
limit myself. And I like to have that perspective on life,
especially religion, because you don't feel like you're like you're.
Speaker 7 (22:08):
Restricted, you know what I mean, Like you could do anything.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
And I think that's wonderful to even let people know
you could do anything in this world. You don't have
to say stop at that just because somebody says so,
you could keep going and until you say that. So
that's a little bit of my little speech about religion.
So we don't judge nobody here. Here's the thing about it. Now,
we go through so many things in this world, and
(22:31):
sometime it is so difficult to deal with.
Speaker 7 (22:35):
Things in our life and we don't know how to
deal with it.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Now, I have a lot of people that's looking and
their viewing us and as like, well, you guys are
not like me, like who are you? You're probably perfect tools. No,
we're not perfect tools. We're human beings just like you.
Speaker 7 (22:51):
We bleed, we cry, we scream, Okay, we heard, you
just heard.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
The disaster was yesterday and I got through that and
I was one of my kids at really you know
what I mean, which is an adult, but still this
is mama's feeling. It's like, oh my gosh, So that
to me is horrible. But we go through these things
just like anybody. Has there ever been a situation that
you had like this big challenge in your life and
(23:16):
maybe will you have many, but just wanted you like
to share that you've been through and it was just
like the toughest situation.
Speaker 7 (23:22):
And he was like, I don't know how gonna get
out of it, but you did.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Can you explain a little bit about that experience and
how did you get out of it?
Speaker 7 (23:29):
What did you do?
Speaker 13 (23:31):
Yeah, so, I guess probably one of my biggest challenges,
and yes there have been many, was I had become
a single mom and I was still in addiction, so
I was mostly drinking. Alcohol was my biggest issue, So
(23:51):
I was drinking a lot. By the time my son
was seven, I was still functional.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
You know.
Speaker 13 (23:57):
I got to work, I had a good job, went
to school, all of that. I was so broken.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
You know, this has been going on for two decades.
Speaker 13 (24:08):
Inside, I was just full of shame, full of guilt.
Didn't think I was good enough, lovable, nothing. And I
used to wake up every morning to this beautiful child
looking at me, who was just a ray of sunshine,
like you know, the universe gave me this beautiful child.
(24:30):
And the one day I just went, I can't do
this anymore. I can't do this to him, I can't
do this to me, and I need to be a
better person for him. So that's when I took myself
off to a six month residential rehab and it took
(24:55):
six months there to then get sober. So that was yeah,
fifteen years ago.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
Now, oh wow, Well, thank you for sharing that.
Speaker 7 (25:07):
That was a challenging moment.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Because addictions, and I've counseled so many people in a
different addictions.
Speaker 7 (25:13):
There's all types of different addictions for people. I always
have to be drugs people.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
It could be something else, you know, or alcohol, it
could be alcoholism, it could be anything. Addiction is addiction
that if you feel like you need it to survive,
and sometimes we can abuse it, you know what I mean.
And the motivation of your child is you had to
be better, you wanted to be better.
Speaker 7 (25:35):
That break there is so incredible because.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
There's so many other parents out there that didn't even
think about that. They didn't even say, hey, you know what,
let me put somebody else in important because at that time,
I'm sure that this person didn't ask to be here.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
It was somebody else that wanted them here.
Speaker 11 (25:54):
You know.
Speaker 7 (25:55):
That's why I always talk about parents and no offense.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
I know we got some kids out there that's some
interest in too, because I have them.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
But at the end of the day.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
I know, you know, we go for a moment, don't
give don't you know, don't okays, being a parent, we
go through our ble.
Speaker 7 (26:14):
But at the end of the day.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
I always tell parents and including myself, they don't ask
to be here.
Speaker 7 (26:21):
Somebody wanted them here. That's what happened.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
So if child or somebody got them here on a ride, okay,
they didn't say, hey, here's my ticket, you know what
I mean. No, somebody purchased that ticket for them and
then they jumped on.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
So why not be better? Why not try to be
better for them?
Speaker 1 (26:41):
And I love your meaning of that, your strength, and
I salute you because many people should look at that
as a motivation tool because you had that strength and
fifteen years on, go ahead, girl, I love it. Thank
you so much. I really appreciate you sharing that. And
on that note, we are going to take a brief commercial.
Would be right back with the Doctor Malika Claire Show
(27:02):
on the Boat and Brave TV Network. Don't go to
my family. Were still with amazing and beautiful Caroline. So
I'm a human being, but I'm not perfect and I
have my own flaws, but I'm working in progress. And
if you're trying to change something. You're able to do it.
You have the power, you have the key to your
own success. And with that being said, I'm just glad
(27:26):
that I'm able to do this and share other people's testimonies.
And I'm so glad that there's many guests that I've
already had on the show that have expressed their challenges
or what they've been going through or went through in
their life. And I say that it's because they're not perfect,
So it's good that they It was really hard for
(27:46):
me to do that movie sometimes because at that time,
because ten years ago is what I went through, it
wasn't then, So I had to take even they say
you play yourself, it's not really always easy to play yourself.
You have to play yourself ten years ago when your
mind was just comboblated and you felt betrayaled, you know
(28:07):
what I mean. You felt like, you know, life was
just not it and you know.
Speaker 7 (28:12):
Not in my situation.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
And it's based on true events, and you know, unfortunately
it's about judicial deception, but it's also about romance and
drama and divorced. It's something that just went to a
different way. But as I changed it and went into
a movie. But what's interesting about this situation. People don't understand.
It's a flow technique for me. That was my release
(28:35):
to finish this movie. Welcome back to the Doctor Milika
Clary Show on the Vote and Brave TV Network.
Speaker 7 (28:41):
We're come in life. We are still with amazing Caroline.
Come morning here, Caroline.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
All right, I.
Speaker 13 (28:51):
Would see that I don't have quite have as beautiful
of voice as yours.
Speaker 7 (28:56):
Oh thank you.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
I'll be trying though I'm not gonna lie. I'll be like, well,
let me go ahead, try a little bit here.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
And see.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
But I have done some things on soundtrack in my
own movie, Love and First Sight.
Speaker 7 (29:11):
That's me. My daughter, one of my daughters wrote the lyrics,
well some of the lyrics, and.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
I do a duet which John canil is and it's
called Loving First Sight. If you ever see the movie
three Corners Exception, that's my movie available on prime video.
And if you do see that, then you hear that
song that's me singing in there.
Speaker 7 (29:28):
So I just try and do a little here and there. Yeah,
I'll be trying. Thank you. I appreciate you, you know what.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
And on that note, and like I said, so thank
you again for you know, sharing your challenge, and it's
it's just unlike I commend you, and I'm always gonna
say that, and it gets me speechless on certain things because.
Speaker 7 (29:50):
I know how difficult it can be.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
And I know the challenge was difficult for you to
go through because, like I told you, I counsel for
many years before I became a psychol and that's what
driven me. But I've come to a lot of people
with the addictions and stuff like that, so I know
what's challenged is like fighting yourself inside and that's what
people don't understand. And I know it's like your enemy
is yourself until you realize, hey, what that's really about.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
You know what I mean, and deal with that. So
thank you again for sharing.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
You know, there's things that we do in life, but
here's the thing about it. You do so many things
for other people, and you also mentioned family, But what
do you think about self care and how important is
that for you? Because sometimes we forget that that's not important,
(30:37):
and it is important. We need to take care of ourselves.
I know I take care of elderly. I have some children,
the adult children, and I got a teenager and I
still have to find time to take care number one,
because if I don't, I can't do nothing for anybody
because I'm just breaking down inside.
Speaker 7 (30:55):
So how do you practice self care?
Speaker 4 (30:59):
Yeah? I couldn't agree more.
Speaker 13 (31:01):
And I learned the hard way how important self care was.
And I would say, like getting sober certainly wasn't the
easiest point in my life, because it was in some
ways easier when I had.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
Alcohol to manage everything and just forget everything.
Speaker 13 (31:16):
So then I came into the world and had to
face people and emotions and all of that. I went
through a couple of really difficult personal relationships, work bullying
situations that.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Sort of brought me to my knees.
Speaker 13 (31:32):
And that's when I learned I exercise and mindfulness became
part of my life to get me through my mental
health challenges that I was facing.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
And depression and anxiety.
Speaker 13 (31:47):
And from that, I now have a routine where my
self care is absolutely not negotiable, and every morning, pretty
much unless something's absolutely urgent, every morning I will go
out to the beach, I will do exercise, I will
do meditation, I will have a coffee, I will chat
(32:07):
to friends, I will have a couple of hours very
early in the day, hopefully watch a sunrise because that
just inspires me and there and anything that happens then
after that never seems so bad. So that's how I
build build it to be. And I say to people
(32:28):
and clients that I coach, I say, the best thing
you can do for other people is be the best
version of you, And the best version of you needs
love first.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Oh my goodness, that is wonderful, and it's true. If
you don't love yourself, how can you love anyone else?
Speaker 9 (32:46):
You know?
Speaker 1 (32:47):
And I think that is so important. I know some
people are down because they're not where they want to.
Speaker 7 (32:53):
Be in lane.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Okay, people who said that, isn't that some kind of
style that they put themselves?
Speaker 7 (33:00):
I mean, you did it. Who's doing that to you?
Speaker 1 (33:04):
And if they are as somebody else around your circles
doing that, then you need not to be around them.
So we could take care of ourselves, because some people
feel like they can't take care of themselves because they're
fighting to be somebody else, and that's the problem. And
so I'm so glad that you said that, because we
do need to take care of ourselves. And I would
love to walk on the beach all day, but guess what,
(33:26):
I can't do that, but that doesn't mean I can't
still take care of myself. See, some people will say
that with the comment they were, well, you get to
walk on the beach, okay, but I said walk what
you can't go outside of walk? So you gotta think
about it when you look at it. It's just enjoying
the nature good to bad. You could still go walk
(33:47):
because she and said walking people is common, meditation is common.
Loving yourself is number one, and I think that is
so important that people need to constantly drill in their
mind love yourself because you're still human being. You could
still do something in life. So stop being so hard
on yourself and love yourself. Because Caroline has said love yourself.
(34:12):
That's the first two.
Speaker 7 (34:13):
MM. I love it.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Thank you so much because that's so important. I think
people need to realize that loving yourself. So thank you
for sharing that.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (34:23):
And like I said, you're giving everyone. It's a benefit
to everyone else. So it's you know, take away that
selfish bit because you're doing it for other people. A
lot of people say it's too selfish, but it's not.
It's self care, not selfish.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Yeah, where I get that, farm I have that so
many times.
Speaker 7 (34:41):
I get selfish. Okay, selfish not to take care of yourself.
How's that?
Speaker 4 (34:45):
Yeah, well I'm not you know.
Speaker 13 (34:48):
And my son when he was eleven, used to say
to me, Mum, maybe you should go for a run.
Because he worked out that I was a better person
and less cranky after I'd had self care.
Speaker 7 (35:02):
Yeah, well then you go. Good recommendation.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
It helps because it's really if you feel like you're
like this, what is it commercial? You need a snicker?
And then you get a snicker, You're fine. You know
what I mean, You're grumpy. Yeah, that's how life is.
Do something a little bit, you know, enjoying. Some people
feel like, oh I can't do that because it takes
money involved. These things that she said did not take
(35:30):
no money involved. I did not hear her say out now.
I might say I need to go get me a massage,
I need to get my nails done. I might say that,
but she did say that. She had said walk in
the park. People walk on the beach. There's a beach
somewhere or lake somewhere.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
You can get anywhere else.
Speaker 13 (35:50):
I'm very big, but I think connection to nature, even
going out and just sitting in your backyard or on
your deck outside in fresh air, in a chair looking
at nature.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Is your state. That's the thing. People realize.
Speaker 13 (36:08):
It's actually quite easy to shift your state just by
changing your environment slightly.
Speaker 7 (36:16):
Wow, you know what.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
That is amazing And it's true because I've had a
guess on here and what she said. She opens the
door in the backyard and she gotta hug a maple tree.
Speaker 4 (36:27):
She gets something of that.
Speaker 7 (36:29):
I said, well, I'm gonna start hugging me.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Some trees because I need joy. And she's because she
she does the animals, she has animals, and she just
felt she brought that in.
Speaker 7 (36:40):
You know, it's like just enjoying life and that that.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Vicinity, you know what I mean. And I just loved
her perspective on that. And I just was like, wow,
But it does because what's wrong with open the back
door to the yard and just go ahead and take
it in.
Speaker 7 (36:56):
Just do that people.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
It will release the negativity and bring some positivity. And
on that note, we are going to take a brief commercial.
It'll be right back, but the Doctor Lake Fairy Show
on the boat of Brave TV Network.
Speaker 7 (37:09):
Don't go no, if it will be right back. Hello.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
All three corners of Deception movie is now available on
Prime video.
Speaker 8 (37:21):
How about that October.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Fourteen, twenty twenty three, on my fiftieth birthday, I am
going to release this and.
Speaker 10 (37:30):
You guys could go ahead and help me do just that.
Speaker 11 (37:35):
Go see that movie.
Speaker 8 (37:38):
Thank you for all the support and not giving up
on me.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
Go see that Three Corners of Deception release me from
all the pain and everything I've been through.
Speaker 11 (37:49):
Go see the movie. Thank you.
Speaker 8 (37:52):
I love you all. Thank you for all of the support.
Speaker 12 (37:57):
See that movie Prime Video, Pride Video.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
How about that.
Speaker 8 (38:04):
God bless you all. I love you all.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
Oh, because you mentioned it said, you know, I believe
in God and I surrendered And you know, when someone
is addicted to something, it's a challenge, it's it's tough.
What was that moment that you said, I can't do
it anymore?
Speaker 11 (38:25):
Well.
Speaker 14 (38:25):
In book number two, I talk about how I been
to prison. My prison number is fifty eight nine nine
thirty one. I had that number for the rest of
my life. It's just not a functional number. I talk
about how I was delivered from a homosexual lifestyle. I
talked about how I had a man that left me
for another man. I talk about how I had a
man that was HIV but never told me. But I'm
(38:46):
sitting here today, I don't have as HIV and I
have a lot of people always say your immune system
was so strong. No, that was the blood of Jesus
that colored me.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Welcome back to the Doctor, belinco clari on the Bolt
and Brave TV Network where we're coming live. Oh yeah,
my engineer, he just threw that. Go next, Well, go Celtis.
I like Nicks too, But if I had a I know, no, No,
(39:23):
he's gonna get me. Come on, Carolina, come on back
in here. Yeah, my engineer, we'll be doing this little
rival reveral against each other. About the basketball, I don't
follow basketball as much. I mean he does. He's a
ride to Dyniics fan. And I love me my Celtist,
but I told him that I'm from Boston, so I
(39:44):
love Celtis, but my dad's from New York. I can
like Nick too, so boy see, and I live in Indiana,
so I'm okay with the Pathis as well.
Speaker 7 (39:52):
And I think my mom's from Cleveland, so I like
Cleveland too.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
I'm just like all over the world, right, But I
have to don't tell nobody, but I really like a
good game, so whoever's.
Speaker 7 (40:04):
Winning, I'm there.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
So and I know he's gonna be like, but I
love a good game, So I have to throw that
out there because I love a good game. Whoever it is,
I love a good game. Let's fight to the end.
It's wonderful.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
I used to play basketball, so you.
Speaker 7 (40:25):
Oh wow. Yeah, we come from a family like that too.
Speaker 1 (40:28):
My sister played, and my other sister played, and my
son played. So I'm just like, Okay, I mean they
played early on and.
Speaker 7 (40:35):
All that stuff.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
My son played and all that, so, you know, but
love the sport, love it. I can follow that more
than football. But football, I'm starting to do better because
I'm a Ryan Patriots fan.
Speaker 7 (40:45):
Now, love my Patriots. I know they be screwing up,
but I still there in my heart. I have to
say that.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
So with that being said, you know what, Caroline, I
have to ask you. I know that you explain things
about yourself and I always try to understand where's one's
thinking and how do they get where they are today?
So here's my question for you. I know your authored.
Do you have a book there? And can you explain
a little bit about your book? Okakay, I want you
(41:18):
to Yeah, bring it up so I can get a
good look there.
Speaker 11 (41:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (41:22):
Empowering okay the world? Oh I love it? Wow? Oh
empowered women at top hm okay.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
So I want you to tell me a little bit
about that book and also where can people find that book?
Speaker 7 (41:36):
And I know this is kind of a lot of questions.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Why did you get in the field that you are
in now as a life coach?
Speaker 4 (41:43):
Okay? Yep?
Speaker 13 (41:45):
So I wrote the book with a group of women
that I was in a coaching mastermind with were self
published and we just helped each other get through the
whole journey together. So we didn't have publishers or anything.
We all did it ourself, and that, I guess was
the start. Actually, that was my first book, which you
(42:05):
can get on my website Caroline Balanger dot com or Amazon,
But that was my start of going.
Speaker 4 (42:13):
I love working with women.
Speaker 13 (42:15):
I love being there to support women because I've found that,
you know, a lot of women don't necessarily have the
confidence that a lot of men do. They may have
the talent, the ability, the experience more so, but they
don't put themselves first. They don't put themselves out there.
(42:35):
They don't talk about how amazing they are, and that's
what led me into having a gym.
Speaker 4 (42:43):
First off, personal trainer.
Speaker 13 (42:45):
Then I had a small gym, But I'm not into
diets or anything like that because i love my food
so much.
Speaker 4 (42:50):
I'm just into being healthy and happy.
Speaker 13 (42:54):
So that's where I just met all these women, and
I talk about them about building their self esteem, loving themselves,
and that's I'm just so passionate about helping women find
themselves and share that with the world, because I think
women have such a powerful especially in today's age, where's
(43:15):
a lot of uncertainty, a lot of division, a lot
of hatred out there, and I just think the world
needs more of that love, that compassion, that kindness that
comes quite innately natural for many most women and men too.
There's men out there too, Don't get me wrong, there's
(43:37):
some absolutely amazing men out there who I adore.
Speaker 4 (43:41):
But I think women have a especially.
Speaker 13 (43:45):
Important role to play in the future and the present
stage that the world is in at the moment, and
I want to help women be that voice.
Speaker 7 (43:56):
Oh I just love it. Thank you know you're right,
there's men. We hear you, men, We love you men.
I do you know, let me some men.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
So what you're saying it'sn't no men versus women, women
versus men. No, he's just saying that we just know
that the woman holds a lot. Okay, and you should
understand because if you had a bull of jelly beans
and all the different colors, that's the woman, and you
got just black and white jelly beans, that's the man.
(44:29):
Because you're easier to figure out. We just need you
to understand the figure out. Take some time to figure
out the woman too, because women has to go back
and forth with them things that you know, maybe it
is some disadvantages and we as a man, I would
think that you probably can see these disadvantages for women.
You can go on to a lot of different specialisms.
(44:51):
You see a lot of men that hold those titles
and you might see one woman.
Speaker 7 (44:55):
Okay, and I could go on and on and on.
So it's not about that.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
It's just that you know, are we getting equal this
or equal lot? So I get what you're saying. You know,
you're a woman, you see disadvantages. You see that we
don't have. We don't build character as much or confidence
as well, you know as a man does, because you
might have more opportunities than a woman. Yeah, that self
doubt will be right there, Like if I was a man,
(45:20):
you wouldn't treat me that way. Think about it, and
I said, if when you go to the mechanic. I've
watched the guy and this just happened the other day.
I watched the guy sit up there on the phone.
Somebody referred me happen to be a gentleman and said, hey,
why don't you go ahead utilize this? He gave him
a great deal, and I asked him. He said, I'll
call you right back. I said, okay, call me right back.
(45:43):
There was no deal. He ran up this feel like
and Danny and this was just a dynostic situation.
Speaker 7 (45:50):
I said, I know my.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Friend would not accept that, because that's not that was
how much it costs to fix the problem.
Speaker 7 (45:58):
And you're talking about just to dynasm. I'm sick.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
I said, wow, what is he doing? So he's seen
me coming and he figured, well, i'll call you. He
kept saying, I'll call you after. But why couldn't you
talk to me in front of the gentleman that the
gentleman's referred me. See, And That's what I'm talking about.
Stuff like that, you kind of get selfed out, like
if I was man, would you have did it?
Speaker 7 (46:16):
Because that man would have said, no, I'm not going.
Speaker 11 (46:18):
For that, you know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (46:20):
So I get it.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
We do get take advantage of in certain situations. That's
all right, because all you ma in cancers. Like you know,
I got a brother, So.
Speaker 7 (46:30):
I go to my brother and I'm like, can you
go check that out for me? So I do know that.
So if it don't sound right, it ain't right.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
So I go right back to the source of Oh
you should have called me, and that's my brother. So
I gotta say that I do.
Speaker 9 (46:48):
I have to.
Speaker 1 (46:49):
I'll telling you so, yes, no, but I respect you
on that. Wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 11 (46:54):
You know.
Speaker 7 (46:54):
We're gonna have to take a break.
Speaker 1 (46:55):
But when we get back, I want you to tell
people how they find you, like your social media stuff
like that, go website, because you said you do life
coaching as well, and I want to know that people
are hearing us right now and I want them to
be able to be able to get in touch at you.
They want some life coaching and stuff like that, because,
(47:16):
like I said, building someone's confident is difficult, but we
need We are all followers before we realize we are leaders.
Speaker 7 (47:24):
And that is so important for people to understand.
Speaker 1 (47:26):
Even though they think that, hey, you know, I don't follow,
Yeah you are, because you haven't found that niche yet.
It's okay to be your follower. Just be careful who
you follow, that's all. That's what we do. Be careful
who you follow, and we're trying to lead you in
that better path.
Speaker 7 (47:41):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
So on that note, we'll be right back with the
Doctor Malika Claire Show on the Boat and Brave TV.
Speaker 7 (47:46):
Now they'll not go nowhere. We'll be right back with
them and Alan ed Woo. Carolyn stand moment for.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
Me at the time, because I really wasn't seeking someone
or anyone I should say. I just hope if I
did meet someone that they would be a positive person
to meet.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
Everything he was singing and doing was making me fall
in love with him.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
Fighting over custody a lot of people quit, but when
that's just how we got to be. But she keeps
on fighting ninety takes a lot of out that.
Speaker 7 (48:46):
Carta characters objection.
Speaker 9 (48:49):
Where's any of this?
Speaker 1 (48:54):

Speaker 6 (54:45):
You know.
Speaker 1 (54:46):
I always bring guests down here, and I welcome every
guest because they come from all whats walks of life
and they always have something to say about something they've
been through. You know, the show is not scripted. I
can't tell people how to say something. This is an
organic situation here. When I ask some question, that's the answer,
(55:10):
because they're human beings people.
Speaker 7 (55:11):
So when you say that they're not like you, well
they are.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
They handle a situation maybe a little different than you do,
but that doesn't mean that they don't have situations or challenges.
And including myself, life is too short people, Let's try
to enjoy it. Forget what you can't do. Won't you
remember what you can do? Because I think that's the
important thing. I think I almost took my little hair out,
(55:38):
look that it was just come away. So I think
it's so important for you to remember what you can
do in life. So forget what you can't do. Let's
look at what you can do at this moment and
think about that. So or what you're willing to do.
You know, they love somebody telling me love somebody. Don't
wait until tomorrow. Mark's not guarantee.
Speaker 7 (56:00):
You know.
Speaker 1 (56:00):
If you want to do something, try to do something different.
And it doesn't mean that you have to go ahead
and say I want to go get on a jet
or something. If you can't do it, okay, you can't
do it that side of your financial means, but there's
other things you can do, all right, So try thinking differently,
but remember think positive because that's what's important. Try to
think positive people and I hope you get that out
(56:23):
of the Doctor Luka Claary Show. I do the show
for you to help you think differently towards a positive
So remember, enjoy the rest of the day, you know,
whenever that wherever you are, try to enjoy the rest
of the day and the weekend to come. And if
no one said I love you, well I'm going to
(56:44):
say I love you. Why because somebody didn't tell you
and I love you. It bothers me when you don't
feel good about you. But if that's the thing that
is worried you that someone didn't say I love you,
I love it.
Speaker 7 (56:59):
I want you to be okay. And that's why I
do what I do. I care about people. So I
love you.
Speaker 1 (57:07):
