Event organizers claim the decision was fueled by sheriff-led fearmongering, jealousy, and sabotage, with 1%er involvement being the unspoken reason for the shutdown. They say the local sheriff stirred unnecessary panic, resulting in the national body pulling support from what was meant to be a peaceful rally. This isn’t an isolated incident.
