profound spiritual awakening that reshape the way he lives, works,

(00:46):

to miss it. Hello, Stiffan, how are you.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I'm great, Welcome to the show.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So glad you're here.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I'm glad to be here.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, yeah, you know, I just I think really just
starting out, people are going to say, well, why why
did we have an SEO expert on the show. What
you have a story though, I mean it goes way
beyond that. What is your what is you know? What
would you like to share with us about your journey? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
So I was agnostic almost my whole life. You know,
It's like I think it was a Carl Young who
said that life begins at age forty. It was age
forty two where I had a spiritual awakening and I
went from agnostic to connect it and everything changed, and

(01:52):
everything then became more miraculous and amazing and meaningful and
profound and guided. But that was just the beginning because
my second awakening, which happened about eight years after that,
was a whole other level. And that is where I

(02:13):
prayed to God for a job in the middle of
the night. And I was inspired by a podcast gust
actually who had prayed on her deathbed for a job.
That was Shila Gillette in nineteen sixty nine, this famous psychic,
and I just kind of took a page from her book.
I didn't know what I was doing, but I just
started praying for a job. And then I was showing

(02:34):
the matrix this illusion that we live in. You know,
some Sara Maya, whatever you want to call it. And
I was given a mission, and I was also given
psychic abilities, and I didn't realize that for several weeks.
But yeah, like clairvoyance, Claire, Audience Claire, like lots of
Claire's and even medical intuition and animal communication stuff, and

(02:55):
I've been playing with all sorts of different areas and
now I'm much more kind of grounded and on the path.
But yeah, it was quite a wild ride because I
was just so excited and like, oh, I can't wait
to start each day and learn what I'm supposed to
learn and do what I'm supposed to do. And I have.

(03:18):
I became really ungrounded from running my business and serving
my clients, and I was just flying high and I
had a lesson to learn in that. So I have
to bring that energy down from the upper worlds and
not just fly high in the sky enjoying that energy. No,

(03:39):
I'm supposed to draw that down here, manifest it here,
and help the physical reality become more kind of imbued
with that higher vibration.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
I think a lot of people are on a journey
right now. That's what it feels like to me. But
I can relate to you, because my life didn't start
till fifty and you know, everything of opened up and
then it's kind of cool. It's kind of interesting look
at all this stuff that's happening now. But you have
to learn how to use it because it's not just
meant to be chaotic and crazy. So once you figure

(04:11):
it out, that's that's the key. And it seems you
know that the world that you live in I'm talking
about the business world, the SEO, the marketing and all
of this is really it almost is like two separate
two separate entities, so you don't think of one as
being necessarily spiritual and and you know, gifted in that way.

(04:34):
It's like an engineer. My dad's an engineer. I mean,
there's no shades of gray in the middle. It's black
and white, and it's I think it's fantastic how you've
been able to sort of blend the two.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Yes, Well, that's the thing is it's really not two
different worlds.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
That's the illusion.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
If you believe it's two different worlds, then you're not
playing the game in the way that it's meant to
be played. So how do I manifest higher vibration kind
of consciousness in the business world, and in marketing, it's
by staying connected to God through everything that I do
on each client's website, on the marketing initiatives that I'm

(05:17):
working on, in the speeches that I give, and the
podcasts episodes that I produce. So God is imbued through
everything that I do and every decision that I make.
You know, I don't make decisions without asking God. I
the reason we're talking today is because I asked God.
I happened to see and I know, nothing's random, So

(05:38):
I happen to see your name in a list of
many people interviewed by somebody who pitched my show, So
I got to know about the person who pitched. But
I in checking out that person and her show, your name.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Just lit up.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
And I can tell the difference when it's like, you know,
kind of like an angel number kind of thing, and
I'm like, Okay, supposed to interview this guy. Huh, Absolutely, So
I pitched you to be on my show, and then
next thing, you know, yeah, I'm on your show. So
you know, that's the magic of it is you're not
given a full script. You're given it's like you're driving

(06:14):
a car at night and it's windy roads and you
know you're going to get to your destination, but you
don't see the whole road. You only see the one
hundred meters ahead that the headlights have lit up. And
you're okay with that because you trust that God's putting
you on a beautiful, amazing path and that as thing,
you know, the universe conspires to make all the stuff

(06:38):
happen that's meant to happen, and so like this conversation
meant to happen.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Absolutely yeah, And it's sort of a relief that God said, okay,
go ahead and have a chat with him and He's
all right, you talk to them. Because it's it really is,
And I know you say I always I often say
it's like having an arrow that just appears on your
you know, right in front of you. You're going to
go this way or this way, but you don't know
what's down there. You just trust it and follow the

(07:02):
arrow and it takes you where you need to be.
And great things when you trust are just laid out
in front of you. And that's not to get all religious.
I mean, you know it is what it is. It's
this universal life for spirit, God, whatever you want to
call it. Do you consider yourself religious or are you
I mean in the religion sense, you know what I mean,
churchy religious? Or are you more just like in here?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
It's both, They're two of the same coin. I used
to believe that there was this separation, and there isn't.
So I'm really enjoying Judaism. I'm not officially Jewish, but
I study a lot Jewish. I started Kabbala, that was
my first foray into it. I've been studying that for

(07:48):
over a decade. But the more kind of foundational Judaism
is incredibly beautiful and amazing and practical as well. It's
a great framework. It's kind of like the scaffolding for
all the other magical mystical stuff. Yeah, that I've been learning,
so it kind of sets me in the right path

(08:10):
and in the right frame of reference. And by the way,
just a fun little exercise for our listener. You know,
you mentioned like this arrow the points to which direction
to go. People might think, well, that isn't that special
for you? I wish I had that. We all have it.
We are all psychic. We are all psychic, So how

(08:32):
do you activate this? This is very simple. I don't
remember where I learned it. I think I was directly
from above. I just got it in a download. And
that is you can have these kind of like emojis
that you visualize in your mind. Right, So imagine a
you know, like a green check or an up vote,

(08:53):
you know it thumbs up, and that's that's the positive
yes answer to your question. And the red X maybe
it's in a box, right, that's the no. It's like,
is this somebody I meant to do a business deal with?
You know, is this going to bring about the most
benevolent outcome? That's another thing. That's another secret like super

(09:16):
powerful little Ninja thing I learned was MBO most benevolent
outcome because then you don't have to know all the
other things that go in to play in the bigger picture,
in the in the whole scene. So it's like, is
this gonna bring about the most benevolent outcome for me
to do business with this person? And then you get it.
You know, it's either in your body a feeling or

(09:37):
you visualize it in your mind's eye. It's not that
you made it come up because you've been practicing, like okay,
red X, green check or red X, and you know,
the thumbs up God show me which one, and sometimes
you get fooled. I've learned lots of painful lessons along

(09:57):
the way. But even if ninety of the time it's
on point, I can see around corners ninety percent of
the time, Like, wow, that is quite an edge. So
that's a very simple thing for our listener to start
practicing is using this kind of emoji thing that could
have multiple symbols for things like, Hey, I don't just
want to yes or no. I also want to know, like,

(10:20):
is this somebody that is like somebody's draining my energy?
Is somebody kind of like energy vampiring on me or
courting me? Maybe you have an emoji for that. Maybe
you have an emoji for this person feels like interested
in me in a way that is not appropriate. I'm
happily married, so I want an emoji for that, right,

(10:42):
So there are lots of different ways you could utilize
this simple technology of like an emoji and just trust
that what it's popped into your mind is being popped
into your mind. It's not you driving the bus, it's God,
your guides, it's your angels, it into your head.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
That's exactly how it works. And I always talk about
when I teach you know, new psychic. When I say
new psychics, people who are just started learning about this,
create a list, a library of symbols, if you want
to call it that. And you know, what does red
mean to you? What does it feel like when you
see red when they give you the color red? What
does that mean? Or what does it mean when you

(11:23):
see a rose? Or what does it mean when you
see Whatever it is that you get, there's usually some
reason behind it. You weren't thinking of it a minute
ago and they popped it in your head. I also feel,
and I wonder if you can relate to this as well.
When you trust and you believe, opportunity presents itself, it's
like driving an elephant through the middle of your living room.

(11:43):
You can't miss it. It's right there, and you just
know where it's coming from. Like you could have worked
so hard to get to where you are in your
business and maybe never got there. But when you sat
back and said, show me the way it really does.
And again I'm not making this. This is truly the
way the universe unfolds, right. It really is not just.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
The visuals, it's the words that are articulated into your
inner here daring you know, a great little kind of
analogy of this. I happened to see this and Tyler Henry,
the Hollywood Medium, has a show on Netflix, and I
watched an episode where he was trying to think of

(12:28):
the word and you couldn't think of it. You couldn't
think of it. You just couldn't think of it as
as bother him, and so he just I could see
where at a moment he made a decision, I'm going
to ask it from above, and I was trying to
think of the word, and then I asked as I
was articulating this, and I got, oh, yeah, the word
was eloped. So when he was trying to describe something,

(12:51):
He's like, what's that thing? And I knew what was happening.
He was asking above for the word, and then he
got it popped in.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah, you have.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Like infinite intelligence at your the the infinite Google at
your disposal. You don't have to whip out your phone
and it's their twenty four to seven.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
It's amazing, It is amazing, It is amazing. I was
in New Jersey over the weekend. I had an event
there and there was a woman in the audience that
I knew but I didn't know well she had. She
and her husband had lost her son about four or
five years ago and more recently had lost he had
lost his dad, and I knew the dad was coming through.

(13:34):
I don't know much about them other than those details
the man was coming through. I had a feeling I
was with them, But I said, you know, you're going
to have to give me something that I don't know
in order to know that it's really for them, because
I know some of the details, I can't get it.
You just can't tell me this person died and you know,
this is how they passed. And what they showed me

(13:58):
was the older gentleman riding horses with the with the
younger male the boy that had passed. That was the
piece of the puzzle. They gave it to me so
that I could show them that those people were there
for them. It wasn't just oh, yeah, you had a
son that died and he died this way or that way.
It was the other little pieces, and they'll give it

(14:20):
to you. They know, they know it's incredible.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Yeah, you just have to be very very careful because
when I first went on this journey, after my abilities
came online, I was so enthusiastic that I did not
have discernment. And it's like, you don't just whip out
a Oiji board and start playing with that at home,
you know, or ever any.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
But definitely did not do that.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
But you you talked about how you had this this
recording device and you brought it to your home and
you were talking to the spirits that were just there,
and you were turning on the device and you were like,
whoa you what you're inviting into the You don't even
know what you are yes into your own house.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Don't And I had called a friend of mine and
I said, Julie, check this out, listen to it. She said,
oh my god, don't do that in your house. What's
wrong with you? Don't ever do that in your house.
And she has some abilities as well. But it was
so strange to me and so foreign. I had never
experienced anything like that before in my life.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yes, but this is sometimes you learn through personal experience,
and that's painful, and sometimes you learn through the mistakes
of others. And in this case, I'm hoping our listener
learns through our mistakes. Don't do this. Don't play with
fire at home or anywhere. But don't play with fire
without knowing what you're doing. Because when you are like

(15:46):
this bug light to whatever is on the other side,
it may not be of the light, and it's attracted
to your light and now it's glommed on to you
and you don't know what you open yourself up to.
Its true, you have to very mindful.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
You have to learn how to surround yourself in the
white light. And these days, I don't worry about that
when I do my readings, when I do when I
meet with people, I know I'm connecting with people who
are in the light, in the white light, But you
don't always know what it's going to come through, and
it's it's scary.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
It's a lesson. I mean, you had to, like you
had to go through the school of hard knocks to
get that level of confidence and competence to know that
you are protected and that you are in the light
and no one's gonna fool you or I take you
on some bad path.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Yeah, you're you're you're correct. You know you often ask
why why is this in my movie? Is that? What
is that? What does that mean? And how could people
apply that to their own lives?

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah, so think of your life as The Truman Show.
Did you see the movie?

Speaker 1 (16:51):
I may have. I don't know it's been it's probably
been a while, but I don't know. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, So so the Truman Show. I saw that when
it was in the theaters in the nineties, I think
it was, and I was just so tripped out by
it because I had no idea. I hadn't even seen
the trailer, hadn't read anything about it.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I was just so.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Entrapped by it. Here's this guy who has no clue
that he is the star of a reality show, and
the reality show is his entire life. So I just
ruined it for you. If you haven't seen the movie,
but go see the movie, watch it on Netflix or whatever.
And that's a metaphor for your life and your life.

(17:35):
I'm saying you the listener or you reader or whatever.
If you are Truman and everyone else is in on it,
they're all either supporting actors or extras in your movie,
then that means that this is a totally rigged game,
and nothing is random. Nothing just randomly shows up on
the movie set. Everything is precisely placed there. Nothing just

(17:59):
materializes onto a movie set, right, So there's nothing random here,
and that means also that when things happen that you
don't like and it feels like a tragedy or travesty
or you know, just unfair or unfounded or whatever, there's
a lesson there. There there's a blessing in it. And

(18:19):
if and it really behooves us to figure out what
that is, to talk to God, to try to get
to the to the heart of it, so that we
don't keep getting the same lesson over and over again.
Because one way to think of it is, you get
these feathers that gently drop on our shoulder, and these
are gentle nudges to change things or to like, you know,

(18:42):
self correct, and then we ignore those many times. Generic
here at that point in the finger, I do no
many of course, and then of course the volume gets
turned up. If you do ignore them, that turns into
a brick. And when the ex fall on you, those hurts,
and some people actually ignore the bricks, and that turns

(19:04):
into the mac truck. That could be a terrible diagnosis
for example or something. But it's life change, life altering.
And I want to preempt even the feathers. I want
to be so proactive and ahead of things that in
my movie I want to get the like I want

(19:25):
to keep moving forward without having the challenges. I mean,
if the challenges come, okay, that means that means that
I needed it. But even you know, before the challenges come,
can I take a proactive action that will move this, this,
this movie forward of my life? And you know this

(19:45):
this mission that I have. So if I ask the
question in myself, why is this in my movie, it's like,
why is this showing up for me right now? Not
to me, but for me right now? Like what's the
less and what's the message and what's my next action?

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Yeah? No, and that's beautiful. The first line in my
book is something to the effect of I have always been.
It is abundantly clear that I've always been exactly where
I was supposed to be, even if I didn't understand
it at the time. Because everything, as you say, is
a lesson, and you wonder why am I here? You
could look back in it in hindsight and say, my god,
if I hadn't experienced this, I wouldn't have this, or

(20:26):
I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing right now. And
it was all it was all a dress rehearsal. But
where I am so I love that I do.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
It's all It's all perfect.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
It really is when you look at the grand design,
it really is perfect.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Had you been doing horrible, difficult childhood that I wouldn't
wish on anybody, and I wouldn't change anything about it.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah, it made you who you are.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Yeah, it's it provided the foundation, the building blocks, and
if I didn't have that, I'd be in a very
different place and not fulfilling the mission that I was
meant to fulfill.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Had you been doing your marketing and SEO work before
you had your awakening.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yes, so I started. I dropped out of a PhD
program in nineteen ninety five to start this agency, and
I had no idea what I was doing, but I
at the time, I just thought, you know, lucky breaks
like one after another after another. But of course it
was all by design. It was all orchestrated for me.

(21:26):
But at the time I was taken a lot of
credit for it, you know, like, oh, I got a
lot of gumption for a twenty three year old kid
kind of stealing this the mic from the person who's
supposed to be leading the session or whatever and chiming
it like I did crazy stuff. You think, Wow, that's
really gutsy and well maybe inappropriate. Like I was given

(21:49):
the job of a MIC runner at a conference because
I couldn't afford to go to the conference as at
ten d it was thousands of dollars and I just
dropped out of school. So they gave me a job
as volunteer as a MIC runner, and I started chiming
in on helping answer some of the questions for the panel,
which is really incredibly rude, but they just were not
doing justice to the for the the audience, and I

(22:11):
just thought, well, let me just add something. I had
a stack of business cards. By the end of that day.
I also had, you know, my invite pulled for the
rest of the conference, so I wasn't able to attend,
which was kind of devastating in one hand because I was,
you know, my ego. But on the other hand, it
was all perfect because exactly the clients that I was

(22:32):
supposed to get, which meant I didn't have to get funding.
I didn't have to get a bank loan or anything.
I got funded by two clients that were in that
business card stack. They ended up being each worth half
a million dollars in client revenue over the course of
their lifetime. So the client lifetime, that's incredible. That's a
lot of money for a kid who's trying to start

(22:54):
an agency. And none of that would have happened if
I didn't have the gumption to get up and like
start chiming in and helping answer the questions on behalf
of the panel. But you know, would I've done it
differently and with the hindsight and you know, retrospect, you
know a little more elegantly and respectfully, of course, of

(23:16):
course I would. But it was all perfect. It was
exactly what had happened, because that's what did happen.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, So how did how did your business shift after
you began to live more spiritually aligned?

Speaker 2 (23:28):
So the biggest shift, I would say it was when
I asked God to be my business partner. I interviewed
a guy named Curtis Thomas. Curtsey Thomas is well respected
breath work expert, and in the interview he mentioned that
just as as an aside as passing thought like, hey,

(23:52):
you know, you know, God could be your business partner.
My previous business partner mentioned that in passing to me,
and I was like, what, well, how's that work?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Like?

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Tell me more about that, and I'm like, yeah, I
want to know more about how does that work? Like
I want to do that? How do you do that? Well,
first you ask ask God does he want to be
your business partner?

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Don't just assume.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
I mean, really, you're just a steward for everything. Your
money is not your money, you know, your business is
not your business. None of this is yours. Even your
body you're renting it. This is God's body that is
renting to you. So if everything's God's I mean, you
can't just presume that. You know, he's going to say, oh,
I'll be business partners with you. You got to ask

(24:36):
and he'll say yes. I mean, you're not doing something
illegal or something right right. Then, once you feel that
to be true, that he's your business partner, then you
can relax a bit and feel more carried down the
river instead of having to swim it all the time,
especially upstream. That's hard work, you know, So deals come,

(24:57):
you know, I get a nudge or an intuitive kind
of hit to contact somebody I haven't spoken to for
years and years, and Stefan, it's been ages. I can't
believe you're contacting you right now. We're about to hire
a new SEO firm, and I should have thought of
you can can we get a proposal? You know, it's like,
how does that work?

Speaker 1 (25:15):
You know?

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Of course it's it's all a rigged game. That's exactly
how it works.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah, that's great. That's great. So so what can you
say to people you know that might ask you know,
I'm stuck in this, this this hustle and bustle, this
grind of trying to build my life, build my build
my business, take care of my family, you know, deal
with my children and all of that that goes with it.

(25:42):
What's the first step, Like, how can they tap into
a more intuitive, soulful way of working?

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Yeah, well, start small, because you know what I was describing,
like the emojis and things like that, asking questions. Journaling.
You know, I have this remarkable tablet that I journal
on every day. I put in there things that I'm
grateful for that I really do want in my life,
and also things i'm grateful for that I really didn't

(26:11):
want to have come into my life. But everything is
a blessing, whether it's a revealed blessing or an unrevealed,
yet to be revealed blessing, you know, as another matter,
so it helps me to reflect on those things and
to see them more as blessings. And then the most
kind of immediately applicable thing for our listener is the
section in my journal for the day where I write

(26:33):
about the messages. You know, thank you God for the messages,
and then you know, two dots of colon and then
next line a dash. All right, give them to me please.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Yeah, yeah, I'm ready.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
I'm ready for them right because I didn't get them yet,
or if I did get like some stuff came in overnight,
I wake up and I'm like, okay, I got to
write these down before, you know, so I don't forget them.
And if something in and I'm in the middle of
prayer or something, and I would be disrespectful for me
to stop my prayer and write it down, I'm like, God,
please remind me when I'm done with the prayers so

(27:08):
that I capture this because this feels important. Yes, it's important,
Yes I will, Okay, great, So then I set it aside.
I get back into my state of concentration talking to
God in prayer, whether it's structured prayer or personal kind
of unstructured prayer, and I trust that this has parked
safely so that I can get journaled when I'm ready,

(27:31):
you know, maybe it's twenty minutes from now. And so
that's very easy, practical stuff that people can do and
integrate this sort of stuff of the unseen world into
the seen world on a constant basis. You know, every decision,
every uh like, everything, every input, every circumstance should be

(27:54):
run through that filter of what would God want me
to do now? Would be the next most what would
be the next action that's the most benevolent that brings
about the most benevolent outcome? What what am I meant
to do here? What am I meant to understand or
receive through this? And then all that journal as much
as I can, you know, thousands of pages of journaling.

(28:18):
And I used to never journal I hated journaling. I
had no interest in it. It wasn't until I reframed
it as this is a way of me respecting, honoring,
and appreciating God for all the blessings. And they're just
like innumerable myriad blessings. I can't even like fathom how

(28:39):
how great they are. But I can at least do
my little tiny attempt and jot a few pages every day,
and your life will change. Your business will change, your
finances will change, your relationship will change. Everything changes because
you are operating from that that higher vibration, that higher

(28:59):
level of Okay, I'm trying to serve God here in
the best way possible, in the way that I'm interacting
with people, my clients, with my wife, my children, my friends,
my family members. Like everything is a prayer. Like your
whole life, your life lived as a prayer.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
That's amazing. Yeah, it's true. You know, it's funny because
I was going to ask you that you know what
practices are your are your non negotiables, you know? And
I think like journaling obviously clearly that's one of yours.
In prayer, and perhaps maybe in meditation. I don't know
if you meditate much, but I feel like that these
things together can bring up out so much change.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah. Yeah, so one psychic I forget if I think
it was. Karen Noy said this. I interviewed her a
couple of times, that that prayer is directing your energy,
you know, is essentially like asking and talking, and meditation
is listening. If you don't do both sides of the conversation,

(30:08):
then how are you going to have a conversation in
actual conversation. If it's all just please, please, please, you know,
pleading for things, then you're not listening right, and nobody
wants to be in conversation with a bad listener. So
you have to meditate. And the way that I meditate
is I'm constantly working on my vibration and my purity

(30:29):
of thought so that I'm always a clear and clean receiver.
Like I don't need to open my Kashik records, I
don't need to find a quiet spot or whatever. I'm
just in constant receptive mode. Give it to me. I'm
ready for it.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Whatever you need.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
You need me to turn right and you need to
turn left. You need me to stop and give money
to this homeless person as I'm going forty miles an
hour and just catch them on the corner of my eye,
like I need to go circle back and drop some
money off to this person. I'm in. I'm always on.
I'm always you know, you know, my my FM tuner

(31:11):
is always tuned into to that high vibration radio station.
I don't watch garbage on Netflix. I haven't forbid. I
wouldn't watch anything like like inappropriate on the internet. You know,
I just like, no way, I'm not dropping my vibration
into that lower place where I get noise or I

(31:32):
get bad information that guides me to do something that
takes me off the path and disconnects me from the creator.
No way, not worth it.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
No, that's great. I mean I love that advice. So, so,
how did your business change from before the awakening until
you know and then after?

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Yeah, night and day difference, night and day difference. So
I used to be a road warrior. I used to
run around from conference to conference. I'd often do I
don't know, fifteen or twenty even speaking gigs in a year.
Many of those and I'm talking not virtual but like
in person speaking gigs. It was exhausting, and I was

(32:14):
away from my loved ones, you know. So it was hard.
Now when my so many years of my my son
and my second marriage and this is my my permanent marriages.
She's my soulmate, and for seven or so years of
us first seven years together, she loved getting on planes

(32:39):
with me and we would travel the world. So we
do all these conference gigs together. She'd hang out and
you know, sit in the back of the audience while
I do my thing and then we go see the
sights afterwards, and that was fun until that made no
sense because now we have a child, and this child's
five now, so you know, I'm not interested and being

(33:00):
a road warrior anymore. And thankfully God has provided, you know,
and uh, I forget exactly the quote. It's a biblical quote.
But in the way that you want to be led,
you will be led, and the way that you want
to go, you will be led. So I wanted to
be led in the path of you know, burning the

(33:21):
candle at both ends, going from you.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Know, spelling gig to speaking gig.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Not interested anymore. Now the path I want to be
led on is more uh, you know, I just I
want this to be more synergistic and synchronistic and more
magical and more just relying on intuition and not me
having to do the hard slog and uh. You know,
if you prefer the heart slog, uh, then that will

(33:49):
be given to you. You know. It's kind of like
you you have your expectations of how the universe works,
and then you basically probe that pro you're programming that
into the matrix, you know, and your holiday simulation, like okay,
this is how I want the universe to work. You know,
nothing comes free, nothing's easy. Anything good you have to
work really really hard for it. And okay, that order up.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
You know, don't you think? Though? Sometimes you know, and
I was thinking of this as you were saying it.
When you're doing the slog and you're traveling all over
the place, sometimes you think that that's what success is. Oh,
look at me, I'm busy. You have to be here,
I have to be there, and that feels like success.
But that may not really be what truth is.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
It is not, and it's part of the illusion that
we get sucked into. And the biggest, most dangerous part
of the solution is that you are doing this. You,
with the power of your right hand, made this client
relationship happen or brought about this huge success for the client,

(34:55):
and then you just are begging for a lesson, a
very uncomfortable lesson. None of this is without God's grace.
Nothing happens without Him willing it. And whether you think
it's a he or she, I'd like, that's all like
details of you know, you're kind of like your constructs

(35:16):
of how the universe works. But this is a fundamental
universal law that if you think that you're the all
that is, that you're the you're you're like a pretty
big deal. You're going to get your hat handed to you.
And I've had that happen, very painful, painful lessons, Like

(35:37):
I lost my life savings in one situation because I
was taught a lesson. I was getting really full of
myself as my abilities were coming online, and uh yeah,
I was handed my hat. And I I don't wish
that on anybody. I mean, I want people to learn
the lessons through you know, others, and they're they're sharing

(36:01):
vulnerably and authentically, you know. So that's why I do this,
because I don't want people to learn the hard way.
But you know, it's not an easy path. I mean
just being human and it's not an easy path. So
if you can help people along the way a bit
by giving them a heads up, like hey, there are
land mines I had be careful, you save somebody a

(36:24):
lot of pain.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Yeah, no, that's great advice. Can you tell us about
your two podcasts? I know we mentioned them at the beginning.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
Yeah, so I started Get Yourself Optimized first. It was
actually called The Optimized Geek, and I was twenty fifteen
and I decided I was going to write a book
like a memoir or something like a self help book,
and I needed to interview all these wonderful subject matter
experts that I had been at their seminars and heard

(36:56):
them speak at Masterminds and stuff so forth, and started
these interviews, and I thought, well, that's a silly waste
to not actually do anything with the audio. I should
publish those as podcast episodes. And then that became the
the thing, and I was like, well, I'm just a
podcast right now, and you know, the self help book

(37:16):
hasn't gotten published yet, but I've gotten four hundred and
fifty episodes and so far or maybe even five hundred,
so that that's Get Yourself Optimized. And then the other show,
Marketing Speak, I've been doing almost as long, started about
six months later, and it's because this is my bally Wick.
This is the area that I'm known for in the

(37:37):
world as an SEO and internet marketing expert, so certainly
I should have a show about that. So that's what
I've been doing too.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
That's great if you could leave our listeners with maybe
one powerful reminder about how to live an enlightened life,
what might that be?

Speaker 2 (37:56):
Yeah, so everything is by the grace of God. So
if you can practice as much as possible, and even
if it's just simple, easy things, to be in alignment
with God and to kind of walk in both worlds simultaneously,
this world, this physical world, and the unseen world, the

(38:18):
upper world simultaneously. This is the way of the great Kabbalists. Kabbalah,
right is Jewish mysticism, but it's really the laws of
the universe, the laws of how reality works. And if
you can start applying in simple, easy, kind of tiny habits.

(38:43):
You know those book called Tiny Habits. It's a great
book by B. J.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
Fogg.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Implement little things that will make your life better, but
not just your life, everybody's life, because you're living a
more enlightened life to the service of others. And so
this is just starting those tiny habits. And a great
example from the book Tiny Habits is if you want
to get in the habit of flossing your teeth, just

(39:07):
get in the habit of flossing one tooth. That's easy,
that's a wind. Celebrate the wind you floss one tooth,
don't feel guilty that you didn't floss all of them.
Like this is a new tiny habit.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
This is a big deal.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
So if you can establish a new tiny habit of
let's say, thanking God the first thing that you do
when you come to consciousness in the morning. This is
a thing I learned from Judaism. It's a prayer called
on my dates and knee. I give thanks to God
for putting my soul back in my body as soon

(39:42):
as I come to consciousness in the morning, before I
even get out of bed. How amazing is that simple
little habit to set a to bookend your day at
the beginning of the day, that level of consciousness to
recognize that, hey, it's not a given that God puts
my soul back in me.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Right beautiful. I want to just quickly before we end
the show, I want to try something. I've never done
this before, but I thought you'd be a perfect guest
for this. I want to do just a quick two, three,
four or five. I don't know, little lightning round questions
like some of them are just one word answers. But
I want to suit you think. A book that changed
your life.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
The Great Game of Life and How to Play It.
It's by Florence Scovelshin.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Nice favorite favorite spiritual practice right now, talking to God
in my head all day long. One word you'd use
to describe your journey to date miraculous mantra or affirmation
that you love.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
This too is for the good.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Yeah, that comes bigot a rabbi.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
H goms uh, knock them eh gamzu. I want to
give credit. It's important to give credit.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Yeah. Absolutely. What's one the biggest myth, the biggest myths
about success? You wish everyone dow mm hmm that.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
The law of attraction is something that you're doing.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Mmm. If you could have dinner with any spiritual teacher
living or past, who might that be?

Speaker 2 (41:29):
I really like Wayne Dyer.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
And one piece of advice you'd give your younger self.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
Don't stress so much. This is all a total setup.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
I love that. Stefan, thank you so much, and thank
