Speaker 1 (00:00):
Fresh off the heels of what could be called, I
guess sort of a victory for Team Maxwell. It looks
like they're trying to press things here and now they're
requesting some items before the trial begins from Annie and
Maria Farmer. Now, Team Maxwell has already made her a
(00:23):
quest along these lines previously about a diary and some
cowboy boots, and the judge told her basically to get stuffed.
But it looks like Maxwell and her team they're feeling
themselves a little bit here and they're going to try
and press this and they're going to try and attempt
to obtain these items and whatever other else information they
(00:48):
feel is pertinent before the trial phase of this all begins.
Now we'll have to see what ends up being admissible here,
what the court finds admissible, and what the prosecution plans
on bringing up in court as evidence, so that all
that's all gonna play a role into what is acceptable
(01:11):
as something to be subpoenaed as far as evidence or
something that doesn't hold any bearing as far as the
case goes. Now, this is the initial ask here, right,
That's exactly what this is, uh, tem Maxwell's making their
their wants known here, casting their line into the sea
(01:31):
on their latest fishing expedition, seeing if they can get
Judge Nathan a bite and we'll see, right, we will
see what you know is admissible, what's not admissible, and
what ends up being what. I don't know if I'm
team Maxwell though, if I want any of this shit admissible,
(01:55):
because pretty damning stuff as far as evidence. And we
all have heard Maria's story. You know, she's talked to
us here on the podcast. She's obviously been on way
bigger platforms, you know, Whitney over on Whitney's Show, and
then you know a bunch of other shows, right, And
(02:17):
we've all heard her story and she's she's been adamant
about what has happened. So they might be uh biting
off a bit more than they can chew chew here right,
rolling the dice, thinking that, you know, they might have
the upper hand or something. But I think they're going
to be sorely mistaken when all is said and done.
(02:40):
Tem Maxwell has not had the greatest track record when
it's come to things like this, and what they want
to construe as a w for themselves is really a
victory for everybody. Transparency is one of the most important
things you could possibly have at a trial. So that's
(03:01):
why if this stuff is admissible, then it should be
turned over. Right. If the judge and the lawyers deem
that this stuff is admissible, let's turn it over. But
I have a funny feeling it's not going to end
up the way Team Maxwell wants it to. There's, you know,
a lot of evidence here, folks that certainly points to
(03:23):
the direction of big trouble for Team Lady G come November.
But that's what the trials are for, right, That's why
we have a justice system, well what's supposed to be
a justice system anyway. But this is where it's time
to put up or shut up. The state alleges that
(03:44):
Glenn Maxwell is part of a huge human trafficking ring
with Jeffrey Epstein and they were involved in abusing a
whole group of girls. That's what the government and the
survivors are alleging. And according to Maxwell, it never happened.
One side is produce to shit ton of evidence and
the other side has produced nothing but words. And we
(04:04):
all know words are wind right, But what we think
me and you really means nothing. At the end of
the day. We're just the peanut gallery around here, at
least over here on this podcast. Right, I'm not a journalist.
I don't run around making pretend I am. I'm a
concerned citizen, somebody who happened to stumble face first into
(04:25):
this case and been morbidly fascinated with it ever since.
And I'm the kind of person that tries to see
things through. So you know, we're just here. This is
the commentary. This is the way I see this story going,
my opinion, right, and it happens to resonate with some people,
(04:46):
and that's great. But one thing you're not gonna get
here are any kind of assertions about this one's in
the macade or you never hear. I'm never gonna do
that nonsense around here. There's plenty of of fantasists running
around involved in this story. Right. I'll keep my I'll
(05:07):
keep the pattern going that we're used to around these parts.
But I'm just calling them the way I see them,
and the evidence has led me to exactly where I'm
at now. Again, you could take every single minute of
content we have put out with a buck fifty down
(05:28):
to the corner store and it doesn't mean shit, Right,
you can get a cup of coffee, some candy or something.
But besides, that really doesn't mean nothing. It has no
bearing on the trial itself, just like Maxwell's spokesmouths, spokespeople
and her lawyers what they say have no bearing on
what's going to happen in that courtroom. What it is,
(05:51):
it's a battle for public opinion, and that's what happens
with high profile cases. Here's an idea. If you don't
want to end up on page six of the New
York Post, don't be an asshole. Pretty simple, right, you
don't want to end up the topic of conversation on podcasts,
don't be an asshole. I mean, how difficult is it
(06:11):
to just try and be a decent person today? Now,
you know, you really can't change what you did yesterday
or in the past. Right, And you know, people have
a bunch of regrets. People haven't you know, lived the
right way. We all have those feelings. But a little
different with Gallainne Maxwell here, right ten Hail Mary's aren't
going to cut it and asking for evidence and different
(06:38):
items that might have some sort of bearing on the case. Well,
that's well within the lane of her lawyers, right, They're
trying to do whatever they possibly can to try and
punch holes in the credibility of the people who are
accusing them. That is their job, right, So that's definitly
(07:00):
what they're trying to do here. But again, I think
that this is one of those times where you know
the boomerang effect we talk about. I think that that
boomerang might come back around and crack them right in
the dome, because guess what, the truth is the truth,
and that's just the end of it. Right. You can
try and manipulate it whichever way you want, but when
(07:23):
the evidence comes to bear and all is said and done,
it's gonna take more than an ask about a pair
of cowboy boots folks to sway a jury. So let's
jump into this article real quick from Radar Online, and
let's see just exactly what in the hell is going
(07:47):
on with this ask headline Glen Maxwell demanding Jeffrey Epstein
accusers accusers? What do you mean Jeffrey Epstein paid out right?
Anyone of those women who were paid out from the fund?
It's no longer an accuser situation. I can't believe I
have to still explain this is this for? Is this
real life? Not an accuser situation anymore. If you got
(08:10):
dolled out some shekels from the estate, they admitted that
Jeffrey Epstein did that to you, So it's no longer alleged. Okay.
Now again, when you're talking about Maxwell. On the other hand,
she has not been convicted in a court of law.
So while we all might think she's, you know, a
(08:30):
condemnable person and somebody who is, you know, we'll save
all of the opinions about her for a later date.
But she still is entitled to her day in court. Right.
But with Epstein fucked that his estate paid out all
those hundreds of the one hundred and twenty five million
dollars they took responsibility for those actions of Epstein. Epstein
(08:54):
was culpable for those actions, so the estate paid out
pretty simple. So there's no law, no longer now alleged
accuser situation with Epstein. That will conclude my ted talk Journalists.
This article was authored by Whitney Vasquez khalaid. Maxwell wants
(09:15):
to get our hands on diaries belonging to two of
Jeffrey Epstein's accusers. No, two of the people who were
abused by Jeffrey Epstein. Fact. Okay, it's not debatable at
this point. Okay, fact, according to court documents obtained by Radar,
court documents that are filed and available for anybody to read.
(09:36):
By the way out there, the late businessman, the late businessman,
get a load of this article. You mean the pedophile,
you mean the abuser, You mean the human trafficker, the
late businessman? What a hoot and alledged madam? You mean
alleged co conspirator, fellow child abuser, general all around scusbay
and bipedal serpent. Is that what you mean? Oh? Okay,
(10:00):
is asking for permission to use a subpoena demanding access
to several of Maria Farmer's personal items, including the pages
of her private journal. But Maxwell also wants a peek
inside the pages of Maria's sister Annie Farmer's journal too,
of course she does. And look, if I was Maxwell's
(10:22):
legal team, I'd be pining to get this shit as well.
But you better be careful what you wish for. You
better be careful because once stuff's admitted into the court,
into the records here, no, there's no going back. So
what they're really trying to do is get their hands
on it beforehand, to go through it and make sure
(10:45):
there's not going to be any surprises. That's really what
they're angling for here, Or to look for ways to
punch holes in the credibility of either Maria or Annie. Right,
that's their endgame, it's their goal here. Maria claimed she
was an aspiring artist when she met Epstein, who allegedly
(11:07):
promised to help her career. She alleges her life turned
upside down when Epstein and Maxwell began allegedly violently groping her.
There's a whole lot of allegedlies in here, is this.
I mean, I'm not trying to be mean or anything
about this article, but this is pretty remedial. Yeah, like
allegedly this allegedly that it sounds like it's being put
(11:30):
together by somebody who's not really hipped to the case.
Maybe somebody who just got some notes and was told here,
penn this real quick, because I don't think you should
be using allegedly with Epstein anymore, right, kind of a
bit silly at this point. She later found out that
her sixteen year old sister had allegedly fallen victim to Epstein.
(11:52):
Annie claimed the now dead mogul sexually assaulted her at
his new Mexico ranch. Again, there's no more alleged with
Jeffrey Epstein. You know, it's kind of redundant at this
point that I have to keep saying it. But here
we are. This dude did all of this right If
(12:12):
he didn't, don't you think is a state and all
of those greedy sons of bitches who are in charge
of it would have fought tooth and nail not to
pay out one single dollar. They had the money to litigate,
they didn't because they knew they were fucked one hundred percent,
no kind of ground to stand upon, and they knew that.
(12:35):
So that's why the estate paid out the way they did.
And with Maxwell. Look, she's fighting tooth and nail for
literally her life, so again you could expect her lawyers
to have all kinds of asks like this, and this
is just building on a previous request that they've made. Remember,
(12:57):
so I'll go back through the catalog and we'll do
it in case you missed it episode and I'll try
and dig that one out so we can take a
listen to the original ask for the diary and the
cowboy boots and Judge Nathan's pretty much usual response at
this point of No, the sisters were among those alleged victims.
(13:22):
Alleged victims again, who first spoke out about the disturbing
allegations against the accused predatory duo. Wow, accused predatory duo. Okay,
Maria even claims she contacted the New York Police Department
and the Federal Bureau of Investigation with accusations about Maxwell
and Epstein, but her efforts went nowhere. Well, that's true.
(13:44):
Maria has been very adamant about that. She's talked about
it on Whitney Webb's program at length. She is very
adamant about what occurred, and she has been very clear
that she contacted the FBI, that she contacted the NYPD,
(14:06):
and they they were the one who told her to
contact the FBI. You know, the whole run around that
you always get. Now, Maxwell wants an investigation team to
examine the so called evidence that Maria and Annie have
been holding on to all these years later while preparing
for her sex trafficking trial. Seems like kind of an
(14:27):
adversarial piece here, folks. Huh, all right, well, the so
called evidence that Maria and Annie have been holding on
to all these years later. Huh yeah, all right, Well,
we'll see about the so called evidence. Look, let's be
very clear. The time to talk is almost over. November
twenty ninth is creeping up pretty quick, and we're gonna
(14:51):
see what's what pretty soon. But until we get there,
can we at the very least agree that calling Jeffrey
Epstein an alleged trafficker at this point is taking it
a bit far. We all know what dude is. We
all know what dude was. In the documents, Epstein's one
(15:12):
time business associate points out a specific meeting that took
place between Maria and attorneys Brad Edwards and Stanley Pottinger
in or about June of twenty sixteen. Brad Edwards describes
in his self published memoir Relentless Pursuit that Maria Farmer
during that meeting showed him substantial physical evidence corroborating her
(15:35):
claims against Jeffrey Epstein and Glen Maxwell, including photographs, diaries,
telephone books, rolodexes, and mementos collected from her time with
Epstein and Maxwell. The documents state, and again, look, you
really think Brad Edwards is just gonna lie about that
in his book, Just be like, ah, yeah, we'll add
(15:56):
this for a little flare. Let's add this for a
little flavor, of course, not he obviously sat down with
Maria and seeing all of this stuff that he said
he has seen. I believe Brad Edwards one hundred percent,
and I certainly believe Maria as well. So again, okay,
whatever evidence that the judge and the prosecution deem necessary
(16:20):
to go to the defense during discovery here, then fine,
whatever that is it is. But again, I think that
they're barking up the wrong tree here. Honestly, I really
think that this is a bit of a mistake by
team Maxwell in the throw. Maxwell wants to examine these
(16:41):
items of physical evidence in advance of trial so that
our experts and investigation team may rebut any such evidence
and effectively confront this accuser. Look, if it's going to
be submitted by the prosecution, then I think that it's
only fair that Maxwell's team gets a look at it.
You folks know how I feel about the court system.
(17:03):
I want this fucking court system to run the right way,
fairer for everybody. I know. Pipe pipe dream, And I'm
not naive thinking it's happening or it's going to happen,
But that's my wish that's my want, and I will
continue to fight for that as long as I'm alive.
I'm a huge, huge proponent in criminal justice reform, not
(17:25):
in the nonsensical virtue signaling BSUC that these people get
involved in, but true reform, hard conversations being had. Everybody
comes to the table and has a conversation about it.
But what Maxwell's up to is, you know her her
usual stuff, right, She's well within the boundaries. And I
(17:47):
think that if they're going to admit it, meaning the prosecution,
then they should pony it up. According to the documents,
the ex Socialite, Oh now you can use the ledged
here here another there, another lesson here at this writer's workshop,
over that radar online the ex Socialite. Here's where you
can use alleged alleged co conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein's is
(18:10):
also calling for the production of particular physical items that
belong to Annie Farmer, specifically a journal, black boots, and
certain photographs. Now we know that that was part of
the ask. Originally, that was part of the original want
by Maxwell's team, the boots, the journal, and now it
(18:32):
looks like the add ons. Here are some of the
items that they might be requesting from Maria if that's
going to be used as evidence moving forward. Very confusing stuff.
Right again, Look, I'm not a lawyer. I'm trying to
keep everything in order like you folks too. It's it's
just such a windy road we've been on. Right, Each
(18:56):
of the items specified in the Annie and Maria Farmer
proposed subpoena is relevant, specific, and admissible. Maxwell argues, these
two alleged victims have publicly identified the materials and publicly
proclaimed they corroborate and support their allegations. Yeah, that's usually
what people do who are holding the truth. They're willing
(19:20):
to come forward and tell their story. And that's what
Maria and Annie have done. Maria since the mid fucking nineties.
So you know, sometimes when you're at the poker table,
you think you got a great hand, when in reality,
the person sitting across from you is about to smash you.
(19:45):
Maxwell is demanding the items be investigating, noting that if
the diaries turn out to have been altered or do
not exist, then the absence of this evidence is also
relevant and admissible at trial. Well, look, let's be real.
Someone has a diary from two thousand and it's gone
all of a sudden. That's a big issue, not like
(20:07):
somebody destroyed a computer the night before they were going
on a trial. I don't know about you, but I
don't have very many documents from two thousand and one,
two thousand and two, nineteen ninety five. I don't have
very many documents laying around. In fact, I don't know
if I have any. Yeah, the main stuff, birth certificate,
social Security cards, shit like that. But a journal Nah, Nope,
(20:31):
don't have that. Glen has been locked up at a
Brooklyn detention center since July twenty twenty. Her sex trafficking
trial is set to begin in November. All right, folks,
Well that's the latest. That's where we're at. That's the
new ask from team Maxwell. Now the ball bounces back
(20:52):
to the court of the prosecutors, and we'll see what
they have to say about all of this, and obviously
we'll see what Judge Nathan has to say. But one
thing is very very clear. We're very close to this
trial and soon that jury room and that courtroom, the
(21:19):
courtroom door is going to close. And all of the
technicalities and all of the loopholes in the world and
all of the character assassination that you could possibly pay
for is not going to do you any good because
from where I'm sitting and obviously just my opinion, Maxwell
(21:45):
and her team are in big, big trouble. They're asking
for this evidence and you know, again this is all
this is how this works, right. You have this phase
where the defense they're gonna want everything that they possibly
can collect to try and piece together this defense of
(22:08):
their client and anything that they can use to try
and destroy credibility. That's the number one weapon used via
defense attorney. And it's fair game to be' That's how
it goes, right. And you see how these cross examinations
go in these courtrooms. You see how brutal they can be.
(22:31):
But with that said, team Maxwell can ask for all
the items in the world. They can examine whatever they want,
because when all is said and done, all that's going
to matter is the truth. If you'd like to contact me,
