When news broke that Prince Andrew would not only attend Prince Philip’s memorial service in March 2022, but would also accompany Queen Elizabeth II publicly and be photographed at her side, the reaction was immediate and intense. It marked his first high-visibility appearance since stepping back from royal duties and losing his honorary military titles amid the fallout from sexual-abuse allegations and his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. For many observers, the palace decision signaled an attempt to rehabilitate Andrew’s public image, using the solemnity and sympathy attached to Philip’s memorial to soften outrage. The optics were unmistakable: the Queen arriving arm-in-arm with Andrew sent a powerful message that she still supported him personally, even as the public and institutions distanced themselves.

The backlash was swift. Critics argued that the move undermined the monarchy’s credibility and disrespected survivors who had spent years demanding accountability. Commentators across political and media lines described it as a miscalculated public-relations gamble, noting that appearing with the Queen blurred the line between private loyalty and public responsibility. Many royal watchers worried that the moment reignited anger at a time when the palace was already fighting reputational damage from scandals and internal conflict. Even supporters of the monarchy expressed confusion and disappointment, questioning why Andrew of all people was selected to escort the Queen on such a high-profile occasion. For many, the incident accelerated the belief that the royal family was out of touch with public sentiment and willing to risk further backlash to protect its own.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
So we all know that in March, Prince Andrew is
set to be deposed by Virginia Roberts' attorneys for what
they're saying could be a grueling two day adventure for
the Prince of Nothing. Now, a few days after that,

(00:22):
he's scheduled to appear shoulder to shoulder with Mummy at
the remembrance celebration for his pops who just passed away,
Prince Philip. Our article tonight from the Daily Mail is
going to deal with him going to this party and
the optics around it. Now. Look, I understand it's his dad.

(00:44):
He hasn't been convicted of anything yet, but these aren't
normal circumstances and he's not a normal person. He is royalty,
the Prince of England, and what he does reflects on
the monarchy as a whole. So you would think that
the Queen or his brother or somebody would pull him
to the side and say, look, bro, this is not
a good look. You come to the private ceremony. You

(01:07):
know you've already said you're goodbyes to Dad whatever, but
I don't think you should be coming to this public ceremony.
That's what I'd be saying if I was his brother.
But according to this report, just a few days after
he gets deposed, old boy will be there rubin elbows
with the rest of the royals at this remembrance service
for Prince Philip. So let's jump into this article from

(01:30):
the Daily Mail and let's see what author Kaya Terry
has to say. Headline, Prince Andrew will appear alongside the
Queen at next month's memorial service for his father, Prince Philip,
just days after giving evidence to Virginia Roberts trial lawyers. Now,

(01:51):
this is a report that's just coming out right in
the relatively new day or so, so let's see how
the public reaction turns. Let's see what the public says,
and if the pushback is severe enough, perhaps you know
Andrew won't be invited. But you know for a fact
that the people in the UK are not going to
be happy about this. Nobody wants to turn on the

(02:12):
TV to remember the Prince and see Andrew's ugly, smiling face.
You're basically just rubbing him in the face of everybody
who thinks he's immoral and disgusting. So hopefully with a
little bit of time between now and then, they'll have
some time to reevaluate the decision here and perhaps dude

(02:36):
won't be invited. But I wouldn't hold your breath because
we all know that the royal family does what they
want and they'll worry about the optics, you know, as
it's happening. They'll figure out the spin afterwards, I guess
I should say. And that worked for them for a
long time. You know, when you have so many people
in the legacy media, so many people and not just

(02:57):
in America but obviously over in the UK, who want
access to the royals, Bill craft a very favorable narrative.
Whenever you know, shit goes south for these people. And
now that you see a independent content, creator driven type
of media, independent journalists, et cetera, it's not so easy

(03:19):
to do that anymore because it's not one gigantic entity
that's in control. You have a bunch of different people
chasing the story. So I don't know how well it's
gonna work out for them and their usual power plays
with optics and stuff. It might fail spectacularly here, folks.

(03:42):
Prince Andrew is set to appear alongside the Queen to
attend a remembrance service for his father, the Duke of
Edinburgh Edinburgh next month. The Monarch ninety five, who has
since returned to Windsor Castle to resumer duties, will appear
alongside the Duke to attend a Thanksgiving service for Prince
Phille on March twenty ninth at Westminster Abbey. Now look again,

(04:05):
I understand it's your dad. You want to say goodbye,
but unfortunately your actions and your behaviors they have consequences,
and sometimes those consequences mean we're we're left with some regret,
right if we can't say goodbye to our loved ones,
or we're left out of a remembrance celebration. How many

(04:28):
people are doing jail sentences right now who are unable
to see their parents before they died or whatever it
might be. At least Prince Andrew's out right. But even
though he has been able to skirt justice this whole time,
hasn't been able, hasn't been held accountable, Even something as
little as this as a punishment, it doesn't happen. Now

(04:50):
he's yeah, we're gonna let him slide in, No big deal.
The Duke, the nation's the longest ser consort, died aged
ninety nine on April ninth, just two months before he
would have turned one hundred. That's always shitty, right, somebody
dies so close to being one hundred. That's one of
those like serious benchmark birthdays. And while we all know

(05:14):
I'm not a big fan of the royal family or
any of these so called elite type people, I certainly
don't wish death on anybody. And it's a difficult situation.
I don't care if you're a royal or you know,
somebody who's poor as dirt. Losing people who you care
about it's never an easy thing. So while I definitely
have empathy for the fact that this man died and

(05:36):
you know, left you know, a hole in the kid's
hearts or whatever, I don't have any empathy for Prince
Andrew and I don't think that he should be involved
in this. Again, you know, it's just my opinion. The
news comes after it emerged last weekend that the Duke
of York is set to meet lawyers representing Virginia Roberts

(05:57):
in London on March tenth, nearly three weeks before the
remembrance service, where he will testify under oath. According to
sources close to the Royal So he's gonna go give
this deposition and then a few weeks later he's gonna
stroll into this remembrance ceremony. I can only imagine the
paparazzi bonanza that's gonna be there, trying to snap flicks

(06:20):
of this idiot. I know if I lived in England,
I'd be heading on over to see what's what as
well get some pictures of old moron uncle touchy here.
But it's gonna be a firestorm for the royal family,
and I really don't think they've thought this through honestly.
Perhaps maybe the people around the queen have, but maybe

(06:41):
the Queen has just said, you know, what the hell
with it. I'm ninety five at this point, I don't care.
I'm not going to say my son's not coming to this,
and that might be where she's at. Again, I don't know.
I'm speculating. Nobody knows what's going on in her mind,
but it's her actions that concern me, and those actions
as of late, especially with the way she's dealing with

(07:02):
Andrew in this whole situation, have been questionable at best.
And I know people will point to, oh, well, he
lost all of his titles, he lost his patronages. Well
what took so long? If we could put the pieces together, right, us,
just regular old folks from reading articles, having a bit
of retention ability for the things that we read, putting

(07:23):
things together. The royals can't do the same. If that's
the case, they should just renounce the crown now. Miss
Roberts issuing Andrew in New York overclaimed she was trafficked
by pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein and forced to have sex
with the Prince on three occasions when she was seventeen.
Andrew denies these claims, and he's denied these claims forever, right,

(07:47):
but he's never been able to step up to the plate,
go under oath and tell the story. Now, well that's changing,
and all of the bs, all of the nonsense, all
of the talking's going to be over soon. It's almost
like groundhog Day with the Maxwell trial. Remember when we
were leading it up to that, I said the same thing.

(08:08):
All the talk, all of the narratives, all of it
means very little once they get into that courtroom. What's
gonna matter is the evidence and what those jurors think.
We agree to voluntarily produce the Duke for a deposition
on March tenth. Despite repeated requests, Miss Roberts still hasn't

(08:29):
committed to a date or location for her deposition. A
source close to the Duke set on Saturday. So again
right away, it shows you the combative nature and the
combative manner that Prince Andrew is taking. Even his surrogates
have to use a little bit of what aboutism here, right, Oh, well,
we've presented the Duke, but Virginia, however, you know, it's

(08:51):
like the kid that gets caught in school and snitches
on somebody else because they got caught and they don't
want to go down alone. Right. The Prince is being
prepared by his UK based legal team as he prepares
to face a grilling over the span of two days
by David boys eighty, one of America's most renowned attorneys,

(09:12):
and Sigrid McAuley. And again, David Boyce is legit when
it comes to depositions, no doubt about it. You know,
when you read about litigators in America, lawyers in America
certainly one of the most respected and feared when it
comes to depositions. Now you all know where I'm at
with Brettler and Singer. And Andrew's America based team. I

(09:34):
think that they're very shrewd and they definitely know what
they're doing now. Andrew's represent a representation in the UK,
not so much the Gary bloxhamfella and the rest of
the knuckleheads he has assembled over there. They'd still be
treading water if it wasn't for Bretler and Singer. And
that's a fact Andrew. Bretler is a serious customer, and

(09:58):
I don't know why Andrew wouldn't have Bretler be the
one to prep him for this. You're gonna rely on
Bloxham and these other clowns over there in the UK.
Probably not the best idea ever, but hey good, I
like when the team I'm facing has bad strategy. Andrew,
who was stripped of all his military titles and royal

(10:19):
peerages last month after the case was confirmed as going
to trial, will be questioned about three alleged assaults in
two thousand and one. It has not been confirmed whether
Prince Harry will be in attendance to join the other
members of the royal family at the remembrance ceremony for
Prince Philip. According to The Son Online, so they run
to the media to announce that Prince Andrew is going

(10:41):
to be present. But the prince who ran away, the
prince who kicked bricks and said, you know what, I'm
not hanging out with Uncle Touchy and the rescue weirdos anymore.
I'm going to America. This dude's not invited for the
sin of leaving the royal family. You see how backwards
these people are. And look again, I know a lot
of people into the royal family and the Queen and

(11:03):
the fairy tale around it, but that's all it is.
It's a fairy tale. These people don't care about you.
You think the Queen gives one rat's ass about any
of us. She does not. Meanwhile, the Queen was pictured
with her papers have stayed on a table in front

(11:24):
of her and an image of her father, King George
poignantly nearby, as she celebrated her seventy year reign on Sunday. Now, look,
I'm not here to, you know, dive bomb the queen
or anything like that. I really I don't. I've never
even thought about the monarchy before this Epstein stuff. Never
once in my life I would see it on TV

(11:45):
or like growing up, the Diana stuff, And I just
can never wrap my mind around why so many Americans
were concerned with this royal family. It's just it's always
boggled my mind. But when you look at what's going
on with Epstein and the Queen's in action for all
of these years, it has to give you pause. Right now.

(12:09):
I'm not blaming her, Obviously she wasn't the one who
went to Jeffrey Epstein's house, but she certainly has given
her son cover and has allowed him the ability to
avoid questioning, to avoid being put on the carpet, to
avoid going under oath. And there are no signs she

(12:30):
will be taking a step back from public engagements this year.
Palace officials are expected to announce a number of public
outings for the Queen in the coming days, including a
raft of hardy annuals, such as an annual Commonwealth Day
service in March, signaling her slow return back to work.
And I think that's pretty much the way most of

(12:51):
our business is going at this point, starting to get
people to go back to work a little bit more,
leave the home work environment and head back to the office.
But somebody like the Queen at her advanced age and
knowing that you can still catch the omicron and some
of these other strains while being vaccinated and boosted. Got

(13:14):
to be a bit concerning for the people around her
at her age, right. I know that, you know, I
have an elderly grandmother and I worry about it all
the time, even though she's you know, vaccinated and boosted,
and we've seen how you know, it can affect people.
And the Queen's out there meeting a lot of people,
and so I could see why they've been slow bringing

(13:35):
her back to work for sure. The Queen is hoping
to attend the Thanksgiving service for the Duke of Edinburgh
for the Duke on March twenty ninth, alongside a diplomatic
reception at Windsor on March second. So I guess you
know the Queen has it all lined up. This is
a big deal. Wants to go and remember her husband,

(13:56):
and I can respect that. Who doesn't want to send
their love ones, their ancestors off in the proper manner.
But me personally, if I had a sex offender or
somebody being accused of something like this, who has been
deceitful for this whole time, who can't produce any evidence
of their alibi, i'd be having a talk with them. Look, bro,
you're not invited to this. I'm sorry. You're my family

(14:18):
and you know we have history, but you're not invited
to this. This is a special day and you're not
going to tank Dad's day with your bullshit. She will
also appear at the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on
March fourteenth. There are only three engagements that have been
announced by Palace officials so far. They will no doubt

(14:40):
come as a welcome relief. Who are millions of subjects
who have been concerned by her spate of ill health
since last autumn, and it's important for a monarch to
make an appearance, definitely important for a royal, a monarch,
a queen, a king to show their subjects, Hey, look
i'm hardy, i'm hell, I'm healthy and I'm here to lead.
So oh, that's obviously what the Queen's going to try

(15:02):
and do, show the people her subjects that she's ready,
she's back, and she's locked and loaded. It would be
nice if she would start by cleaning up her own household.
Sources are at pains to stress that her Majesty will
continue to realistically pace herself in the run up to
the main Jubilee celebrations in June. In her view of

(15:24):
her age, she will celebrate her ninety six birthday in April.
It's a long time boy to be on this planet
and to reign for seventy years. Imagine being the Queen
of England for seventy flipping years. You know, kind of
wealth this lady has amassed. It's all about pacing, pacing

(15:47):
her diary and ensuring there is flexibility. People are very
mindful of the fact that at the age ninety five,
some days you wake up with eggs and pains that
you didn't have the day before. So or said, yeah,
I can confirm even at forty one, and that's the case,
so I can only imagine at ninety. The Queen will
also play a large part in engagements around her four
day Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June. Yeah, that makes sense.

(16:11):
It's her celebration and I have no problem with any
of this, mind you right. I want to be very clear.
I think that she should be celebrated by the people
who want a celebrator. I'm not here to tell anybody
what the hell to do, but why has she been
so reluctant to force Andrew's hand. Here. AIDS are understood

(16:31):
to be delighted with the Queen's energetic energy at a
reception at Sandringham this weekend, providing confidence she can continue
with outings this year. It is understood AIDS and Ten
for the Monarch to begin traveling for engagements next month,
ahead of her ninety six birthday. I don't know if
at ninety five I'd want to be traveling so much,
though that sounds like it sucks. It follows a day

(16:55):
of celebration for the Queen, who is photographed working from
her red boxes as she past the historic milestone of
seventy years on the throne. Seventy years ago on February sixth,
the King died and his daughter, aged just twenty five,
became queen of a nation still recovering from the upheavals
of the Second World War. And I think a lot

(17:16):
of the Queen's support and why the Queen is cherished
by some people is because of the way she conducted
herself during World War II. When you go back in history,
and I'm not going to digress, she certainly was somebody
that provided strength for the UK and the people during
the vicious battles with the Germans, the air raids and

(17:37):
the rest of it. In a message released to mark
her platinum jubilee, the Queen said, it is a day that,
even after seventy years, I still remember as much for
the death of my father, King George as for the
start of my reign. As we mark this anniversary, it
gives me pleasure to renew to you the pledge I
gave in nineteen forty seven that my life will always

(18:00):
be devoted to your service. Well, let's start by getting
rid of your son and not having him come to
this event and tainting it up, because that's what's going
to happen. Mark my words, folks. It's not gonna be
about Prince Philip. It's not gonna be about the Queen.
