But listen, give me a.

Speaker 3 (02:18):

Wearing the detective. You found him? Oh good. I want
to hire you to do a job for me and
that case. Come in right. I want to be sure
I have the right boy. Though you are the one
they call the falk, aren't you? Try to find your office?
Don't you have one? Don't even have a trench coat.

(02:58):
I'm not making a mistake hiring you already made a mistake,
or wouldn't be needing a detective I suppose you told
me about it. We wearrying. I pick up the paper
this morning, and what do you think I see? I
don't know? Fair and Warmer says, I'm wanted for murder.
For murder, Well nothing, I was starting the day off
on a'chery notes. I used to go with a girl
in Pittsburgh. We break up and she marries a guy
named a castro Well, last night somebody shoots castro vera.

(03:23):
That's the girl tells the cops it was me. How
do you like that? I like it? Fine? Huh? Well,
brought me a client? You have an alibi? No? Down, Well,
I wasn't even in town. That's how come the law
hasn't picked me up yet. Well, I was going to
pick you up. What I'm not shielding you? Oh no, no, sure,
not worrying. You know, I'll get myself up. They can't
hang this on me. Only I wanted to hire you first.

(03:47):
You got to prove I didn't do it. I suppose
I prove you did. I'll take my chances. Oh, fair enough,
I'll work on this at fifty a day an expense. Yeah, sure, sure,
But I can't figure why VERA do a thing like
this to me why maybe she killed Castro thought you'd
make a good Patsy. Hey, let go. Vera wouldn't kill nobody,

(04:08):
not Vera. You're not gonna all right, chum, but let's
call off the dance. I said, let go. She didn't
do it, Wearing. I know Verra, all right, all right,
you didn't do it. Vera didn't do it. Nobody did it.
But the guy's dead. I'm sorry worrying. It's kind of edgy.
You don't say. The paper says it happened fast. Maybe

(04:29):
Vera didn't get a good look. Maybe she really thinks
it was me. I don't know. There was one way
to find out. Yeah, yeah, I'll ask Vera.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
I'm sure, mister Wearing it was Pete Lloyd. I know it.
There can't be any mistake about it. I saw the
whole thing. I talked to Pete. I begged him to
listen to reason, but he wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
He tells me you used to carry a gun.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Well, yes, I had a night job a girl out
lad you know.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, sure, I know you still have the gun.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
No, I sawd it when I got married.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Well, I told me you used to hide the gun
in the blue urn you had in the living room table.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Is this the urn?

Speaker 4 (05:15):
I told you that I saw the gun shot, but
he kept.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
The urn after you married, And oh, what's this?

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Wait a minute, I never saw that before. That's not
the gun I used to have.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I mean to be so sure. You've probably even looked
at it.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
But I don't have the gun.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
This was in the urn. Pete must have put it there,
right under your nose.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
I fainted when he shot Ernie. You must have put
it there while I was unconscious.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Did you tell the police about fainting?

Speaker 3 (05:41):
No?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Hell, something new has been added.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Well, it didn't seem important. I told him what I saw.
That's what mattered. Look, I'm being framed. Don't you know
that Pete hired you just to find that gun. He
was furious when I quit him and married Ernie Castro.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
He never got over it, so he killed Ernie, and
he's trying to put the blame on me.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I hate to be unflattering, but I'm not soul on Pete.
Lloyd's mad passion for you.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
But it's true.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Well, it's convenient for hooking Lloyd. But I happen to
know that instead of crying in his beer because he
was jilted. He's been booking a chick who has what
it takes to make a man forget even you Angel.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
And I know that Pete killed Ernie.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
I saw him do it and he said that it
was on account of me.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
All right, you don't believe me too him.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I don't believe anybody in my business betting unders honesty
is the best policy.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
And you think I killed Ernie?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Did I say that?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Well, what reason would I have?

Speaker 1 (06:31):
How about Georgie Richards? What Pete? Lloyd says? He was
alt of interested in Richards?

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Pete says, Pete says, it seems that he's been making
quite a study of me.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
I thought he just found me.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Oh, people knew Pete used to go with you. They've
told him things.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Oh, mister Wherren, can't you see that he's just crazy
jealous any man I ever spoke to he's going to
make something of Yes, I know Georgie Richards, but I'm not.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Interested in him. He was interested in me, but I
didn't want to have anything to do with him. Oh
oh look, I loved it. And that is the truth.
Georgie Richard is just like pleade anything to make up
buck gambling, stealing, what not. Well, I'm through with that sort.
All they mean is trouble.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Some people like trouble.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
I've had my fill and now if that is all
mister Waring urse for now, goodbye.

Speaker 6 (07:23):

Speaker 7 (07:47):
In the Triangle murder case, Pete Lloyd, sweetheart of Vera
Castro and accused by her of the murder of her husband,
surrendered to the police early today. He was grilled for hours,
but the police were unable to shake his story and
he was released. It is believed, however, that he gave
some important information which, if confirmed, may lead to an arrest.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
The nature of it'll be confirmed the falcon. I'll see
to that.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Tell me something.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Pete's sure, kay, what do you want to know?

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Did you kill Ernie Castro?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
You heard what the man said, didn't you. Police couldn't
shake my story. He couldn't shake it.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
You didn't answer my question.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Stop worrying. They can't pin this on.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
I'm not worried about that.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
I just want to know is the blood on my hands?
And I k't look at him, look at him.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
I just want to know that you still have a
case on Vera.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
That's all over all, over. I told you I wonderbe
come here.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
I don't care what you do, Pete. I don't care
how many men you kill, but not for another coming
that out.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
I told you I'm thru with Vera. All I want
from her is for to get what's coming to her.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
You hate her?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I hate her?

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Well that means you're still interested.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Oh oh, I don't know. Hello, Hello Pete Verra.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yes, your addressed was in the newspaper. Do you want Peter,
I've got to see you. Can you come over here
right away?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Why?

Speaker 4 (09:11):
I'll explain when I see you. It's important, all right, Vera,
I'll be over You're not going to see her.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
The heat's on. She's squirming. I want to see her.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Square, No, Pete, forget her?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Will you shut up?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Pete?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Listen you said shut up? Huh huh. My lip's bleeding.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Here's a handkerchief. I get out of my way.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
Will you come on here?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Pee?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Yeah? Sure, baby? Sure?

Speaker 5 (09:46):
And now, Vera, why don't you come on over here,
sit down beside me?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Sure? Why not? That said Vera? Turn on the glamour.
See how far it gets you?

Speaker 4 (09:59):
All right, Pete? Isn't it enough that you killed Ernie
can't you leave me alone?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Leave you alone? You asked me over it was your idea, I.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Mean the gun and hiring Mike Waring, telling him that
something between me and Georgie Richards.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
You're trying to put the blame on me.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
For Ernie's murder, like you tried to put it on me.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Well, could we make a deal if I changed my story? Right? Laugh,
just laugh? But you had your chance, remember.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
That, I remember.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I'll prove you killed Ernie?

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Is that a fact?

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Because you did kill him? You did? You did?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Relax, you killed him.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
You're a murderer.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
How many times are you gonna say.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
That until you admit it?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
What's to admit? I killed him? You know that, I
know it. But if you expect I'm going to admit
it to anyone else? What are you grinning about?

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I'm not crean?

Speaker 1 (10:54):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Why did you make me?

Speaker 1 (10:57):
He got the room? You got somebody in the other room.
Haven't answer me? They got a room? Maybe the law?
Well you will find.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Out here, you'll come back here.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Well, what do you know, George E. Richard? So this
is your witness, bever, some witness.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
What are you going to do?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
What am I do? I'm not gonna do anything. Vera
thinks your word's gonna help her. She punk like you,
and for a minute she had me worried. Sure, baby, sure,
I wouldn't think him. That's enough, pretty boy. Oh I'm
trying to figure just what were you trying to pull here? Anyway? Nothing,

(11:46):
but that's all that's going to amount to. You can
battle on that, just the great big zero.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
And now back to the Adventures of the Falcon. Twenty
minutes of past since Pete Lloyd was tricked by Via
Castro into revealing his guilt in front of a third party.
Now in Mike Wearings combination apartment office.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Hello, is this the Falcon? Yes, it is the Falcon speaking.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
Well, this is very Castro.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Oh yes, seems like glad you called. He's got a
report on the gun. It's the murder weapon, all right.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Oh so now you're sure I killed Ernie.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I didn't say that, not in so many words. Well,
it's not important. What do he wants an apology? When
I see proof.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
I have proof, positive proof that Pete Lloyd killed Ernie.
That's why I phone.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
Oh, if you will meet me at police headquarters and
half an hour, I'll show it to you.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
You will see that vera.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Hello, Hello, who me? Mike Wearing?

Speaker 4 (13:08):
All right?

Speaker 5 (13:08):
All right, just say oh mister Anning, come on in.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
What happened to you? Angel? I got knocked out that
proof you were talking about? Gone surprised.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
You don't believe me, do you? You think I just
think the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Oh it does look phonny as phonny as the gun
in the air.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Oh, then you realized that was a plan.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
I didn't say that. I just said it looked like it.
But you never can tell just what was the proof?

Speaker 5 (13:36):
You were supposed to have had a tape recording of
a conversation between.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Me and Pete Lloyd.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
How'd you get it? Well?

Speaker 5 (13:41):
I remember that Georgie Richards had a tape recorder, so
I called him.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I thought Richards was nothing but trouble. You weren't going
to have anything to do with him.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
I needed his machine. You don't believe me, do you?
You think there's something more to look?

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Why are you so concerned about what I believe?

Speaker 4 (13:56):
I don't know?

Speaker 1 (13:57):
All right, anyway, you made a recording.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Yes I did. Georgie hit the microphone under the pillows
on the sofa.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
I got Pete to admit that he killed Ernie and
we got it on the tape, and then when he left,
I called you. But Pete must have figured out that
something was wrong because he came back, heard me talking
to you and knocked me out.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
How about Richards?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
What about him?

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Was he here when you phoned me?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
No, he'd gone too too bad. He might have seen,
but he was here when he made the recording.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
He'll take you, yes, I'm sure he will, but I'd
rather hear what Pete Lloyd has to say about it.
So let's go show in.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
What are you going to say to Pete? Mister Waring?

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Oh, just check your story against your os very and look,
don't you think it's about time you started calling me? Mike?

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Could be well, his is flaorn, except that you're still
working for him.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I think that came from Lloyd's apartment.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
It's it a lot.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yeah, I'm gonna break it in.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Wait, wait, wait a minute, I think someone's coming.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, hello, Angel, what happened? Where is he?

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Right there?

Speaker 1 (15:03):
I see him? Ael? No wonder, she screamed.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Is he dead?

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yes? Very somebody knifed him. He's very dead.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Mike. Don't you think we should have stayed back there
with k until the police came.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
I didn't want to waste time. I'll check back. How
I get in?

Speaker 4 (15:26):
What's the hurry? Where are we going? You see Georgie
Richards said you wouldn't take his word?

Speaker 1 (15:31):
I won't.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Well, then why do you see, Mike? I didn't kill it.
You don't believe I wish you'd believe me.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Where is Richard's living.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Cliburne apartments? But I still don't understand you.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Bart is recording machine? Now it's my turn, that's all.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
But what do you want it for?

Speaker 1 (15:54):
He didn't notice me picked us up at Lloyds? Did you?
What's that?

Speaker 4 (15:57):
The tap?

Speaker 1 (15:58):
A tape? But as the tape remains to be seen,
was lying on the floor, that must be.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Well and if it is, will you help me?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
If it is, will you need help?

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Well, it'll prove that I didn't kill Ernie.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
But I may be accused of Pete's murder, So will
you prove that I didn't kill him?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Do you want to hire me?

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Angel?

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yes? Well, I just lost one client, so I'm available.
But considering what happened to that client, maybe you'd better
think it over.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Here's Richard Department two O five.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Hey, what's going on in there?

Speaker 4 (16:37):
It sounded like something fell over some more.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Be afraid for all? Come on, open up?

Speaker 4 (16:42):
What don't we do?

Speaker 1 (16:43):
I just guess I'll have to waybe. When it stopped,
I was just about to break it in.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Yeah, anybody coming, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Maybe they couldn't hear me during the fight. I'll try again.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Wonder what that was all about.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
I wouldn't know. It seems we're always butting into something.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Old.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Get him into this chair, close the.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Door for it, all right, Well, I don't see anybody
else in the apartment, Mike, but look, everything's all upside down.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
He's gone the window.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
It wasn't Richard.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I don't know big guy. I never saw him before.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
What was he doing here?

Speaker 8 (17:17):
When he was searching the apartment? He had all the
joys out. I came in, caught him and I run
away started swinging.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Say we go in the kitchen, see if some ice
in the refrigerator?

Speaker 3 (17:24):
And what's that for?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
You should see your face, Jim, there's a lout of shape, huh,
and that shiner's a honey. Well we patch you up,
and then I want to try your recording machine.

Speaker 9 (17:33):

Speaker 4 (17:47):
You did, you did, Relax me, you killed him.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
You're a murdered How many times are you're gonna say.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
That until you admit it?

Speaker 1 (17:55):
What's to admit? I killed him?

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (18:00):
That I know. But if you expect I'm going to

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Well, Mike, what are.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
You grinning about? Oh? I guess that does it? Now?

Speaker 4 (18:09):
You see that I've been telling the truth.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
All right, Vera Lloyd kills your husband? But who killed Lloyd?

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Well that's what you're supposed to find out.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
And maybe it's the character who beat up on me.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Yeah, maybe so, Richards. What do you look like?

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Why, it's a.

Speaker 8 (18:19):
Big guy, so you said, blonde, straight hair, you had
to push the nose go on a rugged joy.

Speaker 3 (18:25):

Speaker 1 (18:27):
How is he dressed?

Speaker 8 (18:28):
We had a gray pin striped suit, a blue shirt,
a dirty yellow tie, of two toned shoes.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Oh and yeah, his his belt buckle?

Speaker 1 (18:36):
What about it? His initial the j H JH. Well,
now we're getting somewhere.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Do you know who it is? Mike?

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Think I know where I can find out where? Phone book?

Speaker 4 (18:44):
The phone book.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Yes, I'm not the only private detective in town. I'll
try all the jh un till I land our boy.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
I think he's a detective.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
I think it's worth a try. This case is tightly knit.
You very kay. I don't see an outsider fitting in
unless he was working for one of you. So a
detective looks like a good bet.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
You could be right, Mike.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
No, sure Rangel, why so surprise? Come on, I'll take
you home, then I'll go to work on it.

Speaker 2 (19:22):

have passed and the Falcon is fulfilling his promise to
drop Biera at her.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
House on his way to solving the case. That's how
long I'll let you know how I make out?

Speaker 4 (19:38):
All right, Mike, good night? Who has been waiting for
you to say?

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Stop it? Your rise? You'll have to carry out mine first.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Come and break it up. Break it up.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
She killed me, she killed him, and now I'm gonna
kill her anything.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
Oh you you're.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Breaking my Let go of her, Let go over? You
wont rye for her? Y good? Now? You okay? No,
you was making like a maniact. That won't help anything.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
You don't understand.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I love their sure well, everyone does taste. I don't
like to hurt your Kay, but I can't let you
go to your calm down. Come on, Kay, you better
go with me. So long for her? Sorry if I
hurt your k I don't like a rougher lady, but
you haven't exactly been a lady angel. Now, come on,

(20:33):
how do you feel now? A June?

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Rotten?

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Thanks and belligerent?

Speaker 4 (20:38):
No, tired?

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Well that's an improvement.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
Where do we go from here?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
You go home, I go to work. Let me see, yes,
and you stay home. If I don't, you'll just be
wasting your time. I'm phoning Vera to keep her door
locked until I get back.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Oh, you're going back.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
As soon as I nailed JH.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Who's JH.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
He's the key to this case, and you know where
to find him. I know where not to find him,
and under the circumstances, that'll be just as good.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Oh, hello, wearing fad, you're fine, j H.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
I have a lead on him, Richards.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Oh good, Come in and tell me.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Yeah, if you saw him again, Richards, could you identify him?

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Now, maybe I can arrange it, but I want to
be sure I'm not making a mistake. You said he's
a big guy, or at least six to two.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Now, how'd you say he was dressed pinstriped suit gray?

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Gray? Thought you said it was brown? Did I? I'm
pretty sure you did viral? Remember Yeah?

Speaker 8 (21:46):
Well wait a minute, Yeah, that's right. I wish brown
brown pinstripe.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
I forgot. You should have kept notes, Richards. I saw
I made a mistake. It's a big mistake because you
did say gray before. Okay, Then I told you sure,
and you switched from I bluffed because you weren't sure,
because you weren't describing JH from memory. You were describing
him off the cuff, because there isn't any JH.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Are you nuts?

Speaker 1 (22:08):
That's been so rumined, but verification is lacking.

Speaker 8 (22:10):
You think I busted my face out of shit like
this myself?

Speaker 1 (22:12):
No, well I think Pete Lloyd busted it for Lloyd. Yeah,
when you tried to blackmail him. What are you talking about?
After you and Vara made the tape, you returned the
verage your conker. You swiped the tape and tried to
blackmail Lloyd with it. He offered to pay, but when
you produce the tape, he made a grab forrip. There
was a fight new knife to him. I suppose you
can prove that I'll come out on a police headquarter.
Doesn't now show you?

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Well, I have a better n You decided to fighting.
Gives me a chance to like your brother. I know
you don't. I thought so the knife. Come on, it's
true when you dropped that knife before I head drop
it all right?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
All right?

Speaker 1 (22:45):
I thought if we got in a fight, you could
pull that knife again. I have an idea the police
lad will find specks of dried blood on it, Lloyd's blood.
That's the trouble with playing with knives, Richards. You're likely
to get stuck.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
For a detective who operates out of his hat. You do,
all right? Mine? What's married?

Speaker 1 (23:12):
It's bad enough my setup isn't according to Hoyle. But
on top of that, do you realize the awful faux
part I pulled on this particular case. No what, I
went all through this case without once getting knocked out.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
That's right. I took the lumps for you.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Well, don't you worry. I won't breathe too or sold.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
That's my girl.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Hey, But I know one way we can keep from
being too unorthodox.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
What's that age?

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Well? Right, now I can ask you, how did you
know that Georgie Richards was the murderer?

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Oh? Well, that uh business with JH. The only time
Richard saw that stranger was when they were struggling diet.
He gave me a perfect description.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
Yeah, but what was the purpose of creating the mythical JH?

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Anyway to explain Richards shiner? Richards killed Lloyd in the fight.
The fight left marks on him. He had to explain
them away. So when we arrived at this place, he
staged the sound effects of battle and invented JH to
account for the condition of his face. I see, And
I pretended to go along with the gag to give
him time to forget some details. Well he did, and
that's it.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
And now you see that I didn't have anything to
do with either of the murders. You didn't want to
believe that at first.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Oh what gave you that idea?

Speaker 4 (24:15):
I could tell by the look in your eyes.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
I mean, you can tell what I'm thinking about just
looking in my eyes, That's right. Well, can you tell
what I'm thinking now, Angela?

Speaker 4 (24:23):
I certainly can. Good night, Mike,
