along with Shane Carter and producer Isa spinning the ones
in Tuesdaday.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
So it's like it's like my work family all here
today because we're going to be here all day.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Before we get a star. We have a lot to
cover in two hours.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
But Happy Thanksgiving again to both of y'all before's too
late happen Thanksgiving. Yes, we're going to the super Bowl
the co I don't know if you're talking about the show.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah to travel yet.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yes, I'm just messing with it because I'm like in
between y'all's ages so I can make old jokes to
her and young jokes to you. So I'm like, the
perfect way, I'm the perfect middle child, which I am.
Actually I'm a middle child.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You are the middle child. I am old.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
I am also the middle child.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
So she gets it. Dude, I'm the baby of the family.
You're the baby. Yes, yes, sir, I was about to
say that you're the tallest one.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
What that makes baby Aaron and Clip should have not
picked on me.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
You know, That's what I love about Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
We all meet up and we all you're like, how
the aggige will say little brother energy.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
God, you know we're going to get into that. Sorry,
I'm trying to go live right now. I'm asking can
you see this?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's great.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Well, before we get like, because we have a lot
of cash, football and stuff to talk about a lot,
I do want to break some news. Apparently that happened
before the show started, so we had you have breaking news.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I do a breaking news.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
We actually have a sounder, but I don't know what
happened to our breaking news sounders.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
So the script breaking new.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
So this is coaching news. It's not the coaching news
you're all waiting for. But before the show started, the
sec took two American Conference coaches off the market, So
Auburn is now officially hiring USF head coach Alex gold
Is to the same deal.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Jeff Traylor's got to like that, and the deal apparently
is gonna be six years.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
And Arkansas has finally found its coach in Memphis head
coach Ryan Silverfield, another Jeff Trailer rival huh cec so
North Texas coach gone. USF coach Guards, which, by the way,
shout out to him because he was at UAW great
coach Mark Zipperfield and Memphis gone. And now everyone's watching
for John Sumroll tou Lam potentially taking the Florida jobs.

(02:44):
So the top four spots in the American could all
have head coach in vacancy's.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
So back to Eric Morris real quick. I want to
tell you a funny story.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
When he first came to UIWE his first interview was
on Ticket seven to sixty with me oh nice.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah, so I was able to interview Eric Morris.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Now he's from the Mike Leach tree branch, right, that
makes sense.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Okay, so he played up there. I'm aware, Yeah, I'm aware.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
But apparently he also talk like Mike Leach because I
was like, hey, how you doing. He's like, well, I'm
just sitting on the back porch from no pants on
talking to you.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It's great. Oh my god. I was like, this is
gonna go great.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
You know, it's he he's a co of hates time
pretty much, but he's he's like five five.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
To let's get into some college football right away. I know,
I know we were gonna like kind of mix in
a little bit. We have a lot of Spurs talk
about a lot of Cowboys stuff to talk about Super Bowl?
First off, did you watch the game on Thanksgiving A
and then versus Texas?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I did. I did watch the game and I had
it on while we were doing the Spurs broadcast.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Right, I did? So? Did I doing double?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Did you?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
We were like off to the left.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
It was like the game and we're like yeah, and
the Spurs are endemmed and I whoa.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
And it's like where's that reaction coming from? I can't
you know? So, but yeah, I know we were watching it.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
She she actually found a friend of hers oh and
like Road two or three or something like that.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Nice. It was kind of cool because.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
She was like, I wish I could rewind the TV
I was like, I wish the remotes would work in here,
you know, so we kind of get stuck on some channels.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
So I've took I have four takeaways from that game
that I can basically say are assured. Right, Like, obviously
stuff from that game that's up in the air. But
and y'all tell me you'll agree disagree.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
First thing, Marcel Reid is no longer a Heisman candidate.
Agree or disagree? What are you talking about? Marcel Reid,
the quarterback for A and M after that game, is
no longer a Heisman candidate.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yes he's not, Lisa.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, I would agree, now okay.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
The second thing, we know A and M, regardless of
Winter losing that game, they're in the CFP.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah. They coach said it in the post game. Yeah,
like it's gonna happen. Know it's there, all right.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Number three, arch Manning, as much crap as we gave
him the start the season, has been noticeably better. He's
not I would not say I'm not gonna be I'm
not gonna be like Nate from y'all.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Who sports agree that he's the number one pick. He's not.
But he has noticeably bet than he was in week one.
He's a good politician. It's a great politician.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
I would agree with your statement.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Okay, I wouldn't because I look at Florida and I
also look at Georgia, and I also look at Ohio State.
I also look at you know, Sam Houston and flexing
over of Sam Houston linebacker.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
What did Sam Houston finish? Oh and twelve? Okay? Yeah,
oh and then you flexed on UTEP.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah, you're a great guy at UTIP that team that
almost beat them. Again, we're gonna get into.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
All that about the game.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
So he's like, okay, so he's like an eed pill.
He gets up when he wants to.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, okay, the last and the last say it this way,
but that's the way he is.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
And the last thing we can all agree on this
is like this is like non negotiable when it comes
to Texas that even though that is their best win,
it is not a guarantee to get them into the CFP.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I would agree, definitely, not dyl.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
You know my stance, they're not getting in well, and
that's not going No, it's not that. And I said
it last week on the show.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I said Texas is going into the A and m
game as their national title game, that that is their
last game of the season, that means anything. The only
thing that they can do is cause havoc. And you
know what they did cause havoc and Auburn almost created
some havoc yesterday because if BAMA loses, they're not going
to the CFP either, right, So now we can see
the greatest thing is what we're gonna see in the

(06:11):
SEC championship game Georgia Alabama because if Alabama loses.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
They're out. Are they out? Yes? They are. You lose
to Florida State, you almost lose to Auburn. Now you
have three losses. Who might bring in from Tech? Who
do you bring in from the SEC? Vanderbilt? Vanderbilt.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Vanderbilt's a fourth team because the fifteen it becomes Georgia, Ole,
miss A, and m OEU because you forget forgot that one.
And then Vanderbilt just because by tomorrow they're probably gonna
be thirteen or twelve in the rankings.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
And what's even crazier is.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
That we could have two Group of five, which I
don't aways called group of five, but we could have
two Group of five champions in the CFP because of
the way the chaos mixed because remember I forgot this.
I thought it was the power for conference winners. No,
it is the four highest ranked conference winners and Duke
if Duke who somehow some ways started off one to three.
If they win the a C they're in. No, they're

(07:01):
not in. That's that's the thing. If because the winner
of the American North Texas and Tulane, they're both gonna
be ranked, that team would get the fourth highest ranked
bid into the College World Playoffs. And if James Madison
beats Troy and the Sunbelt they would get the they
would get the group automatic bid. So we would have
five conference champions, two from the group of five.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Right, So I want to do a little bit of
people that are watching us on Facebook Live, shout out
to producer Jerry of The Trudy Show.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
He's watching Janny Man, is your Texas tech? Uh?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Here he says his quote, He's already winning the contest. Here,
have fun at the Alamobole, Texas.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
I actually think right now they'll be in the Cotton Bowl.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
I think Alamo Bowl because like because remember it's based
on like not just contracts with conferences. It's based on
where you finished plus I don't think the SEC goes
to the the Alamobile. No, it's just it's just funny.
It's just being funny. We're dad's your dad, You're gonna have.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
That, make sense.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
It's just it's just like, hey, have fun. Because he's
a Texas Tech fan.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
You get it.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
No, No, because because we're in the because texting the
CFP oh, I get that.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
But he's which is amazing for me because he's been
part of so obviously Texas fans since Friday, right right.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
They hear Sark after the win.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
It would be a disservice to our sport if this
team's not a playoff team when we went in and
scheduled that non conference game at Ohio State, because if
we're ten and two team, it's not a question. Yeah,
we have break we have a breaking news.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
So I talked about this like five minutes ago, and
is a pre show you actually called it. Florida is
in fact going to hire Twulane coach John sumrls. That's
three American coaches now in the SEC.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
So Jeff Traylor, I don't know what job.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I guess Jeff Traylor, I think I don't know what First,
First of all, I dont think is going anywhere?

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Second know where else has left. Caesar Rodriguez on Facebook,
he says Texas is winning the Natty and what women
and what women's basketball? They yeah, maybe swimming, you know,
but it's you know, that's great for the these coaches.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
You know, they're getting this opportunity there Florida because now
you have to start understanding that something's brewing in Baton Rouge. Right,
so we all know that there was a hold for
Florida for Lane. There was a hold for Florida for
you know, all these guys for Lane. Right, Lane has
become the bachelor of college football. Where is he going
to go? I've heard he's you know, we're going to LSU.

(09:31):
But the hold up is right now is Old Miss
is going to be in the playoffs?

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yeah? So, and that's the conflict dimension.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
You're just wanting to coach them, but the ad from
Ole Miss is like, if you leave, you can't coach them.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
And there's a difference because people have I brought up
on Twitter and we talked about this pre show with
Lisa that North Texas is going to allow Morris to
coach even though he's going to Oklahoma State because they
have a chance to win the American and therefore get
the automatic b Olahoma.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
And by the way, you better watch out for Oklahoma
State in the next couple of seasons with Eric Morris.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
He's gonna revamp Oklahoma State. While you're looking at me
like I'm staring just saying, I'm just I'm just letting
it in. Oklahoma State needs to be relevant for you guys.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I'm just saying that text Tech is that is the
one who started all this and that y'all are just
y'all was riding their coatails at this point.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
But brot me, let me ask you this question on
the state. Let me askase of this question SAYINGSA.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Okay, So I named off the five SEC teams today
that would make the cultural playoff if you had to
kick one out because remember Miami get that Mike might
get that bid also because they won even though they
don't play in the ACC championship game. So let's assume.
Let's just assume, right, Let's assume Georgia wins. Bama's out right,
Bama's out, so it's Georgia, Ole, miss A, and m

(10:44):
So you're gonna and then hang on, hang on, and
then the last spot. Let's say they only want to
give four. Would you, Lisa, get that last spot to
Vanderbilt or Oklahoma? Based on what you've seen this year.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
I would say Oklahoma. I have to go Oklahoma.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I don't disagree. I don't disagree. The thing is that
it's gonna be. It's like that.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Last especially if we have two group of five champions
to get in is Miami. They beat Notre Dame, they
have the head to head and they don't have to
play in the AC Championship game. They get to get
a top twelve ranking and just wait. So they might
only keep in a certain number of teams in that
regard because of prior commitments.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
I'm not thankful for Texas. I'm not thankful for the
way that you know, and I've got more on that
and later on in the show. I'm not thankful for
these fans that.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Are de Lulu.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
But coming up next, we're gonna talk more college football
and how we feeling because Aggie's I've got something for you.
I think you might be overrated. That's all next on
the Fanatics on Tickets seven sixty
