He hasn't really showed deterioration the way you fink what

He's been quiet, dressed, he can shoot, and we're gonna
break it down once again. We've all seen US three.
I want to say we US three have seen a
lot of Spurs games this season. The Spurs have lived
and died by runs. Guess what, Kevin Durant is a
guy that can kill those runs. When the Spurs go
five minutes without a bucket? How mean?

I'm a guy that has to do the radio highlights
of the Spurs.

I'm telling you the Spurs will go three, three, four,
five game minutes without a bucket.

What was that game? There was a sixteen to oh run? Yeah,
that killed us oh against Memphis at all against Memphis.
And I'm not knocking the Spurs by and everybody's like, hey,
they should have called a timeout.

They didn't have one.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
They didn't have that one. And I want to say this,
I'm not knocking the Spurs. I'm not knocking the notation.
I mich Johnson is doing a great job, all right,
But when you think about the possibility of Kevin Durant
being in this roster, I'm telling you those sixteen OERD
runs do not exist.
Speaker 3 (10:21):

I mean, like, let me if it that's out there, right,
So let's say they were able to obtain KD. Let's
say it takes away one of your like one of
your main nine guys, you know, just it doesn't matter who.

But the stipulation is that either him or Chris Paul
have to be able to come off the bench, right,
either one of those guys wanted to do that. No, no,
but but that's but that's the stipulation of him coming.

Here, not having a championship team. You got a panda.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Well, because because on the Spurs like that, they run
they run nine d they're they're starting five.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
I mean, they are the guys that play all the
entirety the most.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Of the minutes, like, you're gonna see shacks OG's. Is
it shacks OG's today, right? The original guys. Yeah, you're
gonna see these guys. And this is what happened with
the Spurs, And we'll get into it more on the
other side. But with the Spurs, when they were sexy
and they had Duncan and janob Lee and Parker, you
were getting these guys that were willing to sit the bench,
Michael Finley.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Steve Smith.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
You were getting all these guys that were greats on
their own willing to come down here. That would happen
again with Kevin Durant. You're gonna get vets that have
been close that know that they can go over the
edge because nobody wants to be like Charles Barkley.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
I mean, do you remember Cleveland before they won it?
At one point when you look at that roster, it
was probably the twenty twelve also Rusterer, d Wade d Rose.
I mean, you had guys just signing up to be
a part of this because they were so close to
beating the Warriors, right.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I mean, obviously they did give up a lot of
those pieces.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
But last statement I have on this, going back to
the Warriors and can they win it? Do you think
they're beating the Thunder? We could talk about this in
next segment, but.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Do you think I'm I'm mad about it. I'm mad
that everybody's overlooking the Thunder.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Yeah, I don't think. I don't think Jimmy Butler sets
them over over what. Okay, so he's got going on
because they have the reigning. I think I think this
year's MVP playing for him. So let's get into that.
