The bottom half of the bracket for the Western Conference.
I'm more interested in that than I am in the
top half because you've got the Rockets and Warriors. And
here are the Warriors. Now after last night, Hurry goes
for thirty six, shoots lights out, takes care of Houston,
and now they grab a two game to one lead.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Yep, right, And that's very key.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Because I can't say that they're not going to do
that tomorrow night at nine o'clock. And I feel bad
for Houston in one way. Even their home games have
been late in the playoffs. They've been the Western Conference,
you know what I'm saying. They have fallen into that
bracket where in Houston, their games are tipping off at
eight thirty or nine o'clock. And I'll be honest to

Rocket fans suck at getting it to that arena. They
just do it, doesn't matter if it's the NBA Finals,
which they haven't touched since what ninety four. But at
the same time, these are my little knocks to you guys. Okay,
the Rockets, I told you this. I didn't think that
they would do well in the playoffs so far, I'm right.
So far, there's been some chippiness. But to face the

Golden State Warriors, and then you had Dylan Brooks calling
Draymond Green, and they're starting to get chippy with the
whole talk. Did we see that with Jalen Green and
Draymond at the end of the game, he can't point
out the fingernails, Go paint them nails.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
He said, go paint them nails.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Now, the press was trying to ask him, and Draymond said,
I didn't say anything. We're good, And he got up
and left right, and they were asking Green afterwards, and I.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Guess it's back and forth. I get it.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
But that's Draymond's role, right, Draymond's been the dirty player
in the NBA. We all know this, Yep, we're not
stupid to it. But to have Dylan Brooks call him
a dirty player the other.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Night, do you that's the pot calling the kettle black, right,
Dylan Brooks aimed to be what Draymond Green is. I
think Dylan Brooks thinks he's Draymond Green his mind, Draymond Green,
I think he thinks he's more of a hero than
he is a villain in his mind.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
And yeah, they're equally problematic. Okay. I can't take them
Brooks seriously as a villain because he's Canadian.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Oh, come on watching that's Netflix documentary.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
By the way, it's really good.
Speaker 4 (11:11):

Yeah, I told you if you ain't ready for Victor

That that series, man, jeez and the French team. Wow,
I'm just I'm impressed even even.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I mean that that.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yeah, the gold I'm drinking all that beer he could. Yeah,
did you love it? With the gold medal ceremony? Like
they went back to the behind the scenes and they're
all like, you guys been drinking all day and they're like, yep,
we have so real quick. I want to go around
before we go to break here for the West, and
then on the other side of the break we'll talk
about the East. Obviously, we all knew that thunder, so

we all get points there. Shane, who do you got
Nuggets Clippers coming out of this series?
Speaker 2 (11:49):
It's so cool.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
The Clippers are like the highest team in the NBA.
But I can't pick against the Nuggets. I just don't
trust them too much.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
You have the Nuggets, Nuggets, Nuggets, I'm going Clippers. I'm
just gonna go with Clippers here. I think that you
know they they somehow get this game five on the road,
so we'll see there. Lakers Timberwolves, Shane.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
I'm I'm going with the t Wolves. Okay, I'm feeling
it with them. I just am nothing. You're going with
Lakers seven? Yeah, I think go seven.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
I think there's something in Lebron with the addition of
Luca that he's not gonna give the league the the
power to say that this is not gonna work, or
you should have held on to Anthony Davis.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I don't see him going down a round one.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
I actually have the Lakers winning this in seven. I
think that even if Minnesota does win today, I think
the Lakers somehow storm back and get this one.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Rockets are Warriors, Shane. I want to pick the Rockets.
I can't pick against Steph in the playoffs, and I mean,
it is gonna determine a lot how how long Jimmy
Butler's out if it's extended. But I just I don't
trust the Rockets yet. I still think there are ways away.
I'm going with the Warriors.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
This is probably the toughest one of them all it is.
I'm gonna go Rockets.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I think the Rockets have the ability to be a
bit more dirty, and I'm gonna say there's probably gonna
be another key injury coming.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Next to Warriors. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Interesting, I'm gonna go Warriors in this one. I'm gonna
say they clean it up in five. That's just my
take on it, because I think the mind games have
already set into Houston, and I warned you guys about
Houston and that they don't handle that well and they won't.
I see a fight before I see anything else, so
I see that. So coming up on the other side
of the break, we're gonna break down the Eastern Conference

and more or less it's reminding me of my teenage days.
