Speaker 1 (00:05):
I called radial path kids pretty downloaded because people try
to give an excuse that they can't listen to sports church. Well,
you know what, I had answers for everything. It's a
downloaded ticket seven sixty. You can listen to us live.
You can also listen to us in the future if
you would like to as well. Or you can just
use a squeegee and wash it all out and you know,
try it again tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Anyways.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Sorry, Sometimes people like to give me challenges on words.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Well winter, winter, chicken dinner. I just got it done.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Well, it's you bring that up.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
And it's like for some people ask me, did you
ever play you know, quarterback or I mean you ever
played football? And I said, yeah, I always wanted to
play quarterback in football, but I didn't get to play
football because they had this thing called no pass, no play,
and they ruined my dreams.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
You couldn't pass the ball that they didn't play, and
I couldn't play. I was always playing. I played left
to Actually I was the kicker in football. Oh wow, Still,
I don't get how tall were you in high school?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Though?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
A soccer I was a soccer player, so yeah, you
see me on the soccer field and they're like, this
guy can't put it into the net.

Speaker 6 (01:09):
He always puts it above the crossbar. And they're like,
perfect sport. I'm gonna than a lot of their kids too, right.
I was why did they try a receiver just for mismatch?
Because I was a toothpick shane.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
It was one hundred and five pounds at six foot
five and broke.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Oh okay, never mind it. What is it? What are
they called.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Their air code? The Niners something like that. Yeah, I
was an Alma Heights guy. Shout out to all my
Alma Heights mules man. All right, yep, we're moving past
that high school, aren't we.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
My son's a field goal kicker.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
See he's actually he's training right now with the kicker
now going.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yeah, I did it.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
He's looking for D one scholarship.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
So I also played it in uh renal arena ball,
So I did arena football. I got shoved into the
second row on a kickoff and I was like, coach.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I'm done, Yeah, shove in the second row. We just
left out the stands.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I didn't realize in arena football, yeah, you're gonna get hit,
and I'm like I'm trying to avoid the guy and
the guy was like come here.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I was like hello, and I took some popcorn because
it hurt.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
That's what happened to my son. He was playing football
and he got blindsided and that was it.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
That's all Shell, That's all she wrote. So speaking out
like the little kids from Little Giants.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Baseball season, I guess it closes today for the first
half of the season as we have All Star breaks
starting this week, next week, next week, right, so we've
got the All Star.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Game coming up in hot Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Are you excited about where the Astros are at?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Let's o, because I know that you do a lot
of work.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah. No, No, I mean I I mean.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
The Astros are fifty six and thirty nine.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Now. When they first started in the season, it was
kind of like okay, but I know that right now
they're playing the Rangers. The Rangers sit in the aos
at forty seven and forty nine. Is Houston carry this
momentum again to get into the playoffs and make a
World Series run?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
I mean, I think they got to get shot at it.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I mean, if they come out strong, you know, in
the second half, I mean, it's like keep it, keep
up to the momentum. I mean, that'd be great. I
mean depending on who. If the bats are.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Hot, bulderam it right now?

Speaker 7 (03:23):
Are hot? I think getting Lance mccullor's back really helps
that bullpen because one thing we always see with the
Astros is the first half of the season they always
kind of like meander through it for the All Star
break and a lot of times we see their eyls
full of guys, and then towards like August and September,
their bullpen gets healthy and that's a lot of times
it carries them over until deep playoff runs.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
But here's the problem with Houston. Okay, they always win
at home.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Okay, their record right now is thirty three and eighteen
at home right then is a solid record. The problem
is is on the road, they're twenty three and twenty
one in the playoffs. If you're going to make a run,
especially with like the way the Toronto Blue Jays are
running right now, the Detroit Tigers are running, the potential
that you would have to go through Detroit or Toronto,
you have to be a better road team. So if
I'm asking and giving a report card on the Astros, yes,

(04:06):
I'm satisfied with your record.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Right now. I would love to give you an a minus.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
But unfortunately your away record needs a little bit more homework.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
But the Blue Jays are But the blue Jays are
worse on the road. They're below five hundred on the road.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
But here's my thing. If you're able to maintain right
now your four games.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
On the game, you would hold a seven game series date.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Right and they're thirty two and sixteen at home. The
Toronto blue Jays are twenty three and twenty four. Yeah,
I'm sure Kletcho was sitting off to the right hand
side of me saying, this dude is rain Man right
now with records.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
No, I have a cheat sheet, folks. I have a
cheat meat.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
That's pretty good. He's really good. They get good.

Speaker 7 (04:44):
That little paper, that little piece of pappy. You always
hear him crumble up for like a sound effect. That's
literally him to crumble up his cheat sheet, and he's
like flats of background and use it all over. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I do.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
The Yankees, though.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
I just I'm say what you said about the Yankees
early because I thought that was very interesting about their
fan base.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
They're terrible. They're like the Dallas Cowboys. I said, the
Dallas Cowboy fan base.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
New York fans in general are like, I don't know,
I likes be like a Northeastern thing. But like teams
in like Boston, New York Philly, like.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Boston fans are great, all right. Boston fans are very dramatic.
They love their teams, they love the.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Sauce they they pack over there over there by the
pock And let me tell you what they're doing with
the Celtics right now.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
It's complete monarchy route and there's.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
Three Texans trying to down the streets right now.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Where are the Celtics? Where are the Celtics?

Speaker 1 (05:35):
You know Mark Wahlberg and he's like, hey man, the
cockies with the Cockyes, you.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Know what I mean. That's that's my Bosston and the
New York fans. You're right.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
New York fans are a little bit different. They're just bitter. Okay,
have you ever been to New York City? Look, I
love the city, okay, but you imagine doing that city
day in and day out. I could not do that
the subway. It's like they look like a heard of
New York fans know where they're going.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Let's be honest.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
New York fans are lucky because in every single sport,
if they don't like their team, there's another.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
One a train ride away from.

Speaker 7 (06:08):
If you're a Nets fan, like all this team sucks,
just go to the Garden and go watch the Knicks.
If you're a Giants fan, you realize, Okay, our team's
on the downswing. Go watch the Jets, and it's the Jets.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Well, baseball, the Mets and the Yankees are both are
both like good.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
This year. I think the Mets actually might be able
to make a longer run than the Yankees will because
this year, the Yankees, I don't even I think they'll finish.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Behind the Socks, who are like only a half.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Game behind the National League team though right now is
the Cubs.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
But you gotta be careful of the Brewers because here's
the thing about the Brewers.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
They can pitch, yes, they can, and hold a beer.
I'm just letting you know.

Speaker 7 (06:39):
I think everyone's so enamored with the Dodgers because they
have the most All Star selections and show Hey is
like he's back to doing both DH and pitch and
he it's too weird for me, man, it is weird.
But the thing is he actually pitched a decent game.
I think he went four inns deep last night before
they pulled him. And there right now, they're the darling
child of the baseball because they have all they have
the most star power. But really the team behind them

(06:59):
in the stand, the Padres. They're probably the achilles heel
the dodgerscause they played them so many times this year.
They know how to beat them, they know how to
combat all their pitchers and relievers.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I think the Padres are the watch out team.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
And I think the watch out team in the NL
is the Colorado Rockies.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I think they have pooled us.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Okay, I think they have absolutely fooled us with their
record twenty two wins and seventy three losses already.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Okay, let me tell you something.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
You can't hit rock bottom as much as the Rockies
have hit rock bottom here. Okay, the Dodgers, they better
watch out. I'm not saying because in the words of
Major League if we put three together, that's so and
that's all they need to do. Currently they've lost one outside,
you know, so watch out for the Rockies.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
And for those of you that just took that, seriously,
call me because you need to talk. I was gonna say,
I don't.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Keep up with baseball that much, but what you just said,
I'm thinking the Rockies didn't think about them.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Nobody think till you said there.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
When you said there, when you said the record, I'm like,
thank god it is.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
At one point, I think Scotti Scheffler of the PGA
Tour had won three before they had even won three games.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I'm just letting you know. The Rockets are bad.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
So coming up, what I want to get to is
the new Bogatti Challenge or Bugatti Challenge, and I'm going
to challenge myself to do this and we might talk
a little bit more sports. I'm in here with Coletto Rodriguez.
