Speaker 1 (00:04):
We get you through your Sunday Fun Day. Some of
y'all are just gonna be chilling. Some of y'all are
gonna be taking care of an ant problem in your house.
Oh wait, that's me. Yeah, big old trail of ants
this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It was great.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
You know, I got to take care of that. But
Sunday Fun Day has commenced. A couple of people watching
us here on Facebook Live. Shout out to Pablo Perez,
my cruise, Vanessa, Tony Morano.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
By the way, go back to the ant problem. What
do you mean you have an hand?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Go back to the ant problem.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah, I'm curious about this. You can't just like sideways
like it's not a big deal.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
So it's been an interesting summer at my house as
far as past, right, I have a well, right, so
I have this little, uh, pest issue going on. You know,
it's summer, it's humid. There's you know, like the fruit
flies and everything. Have you noticed like going to restaurants
You've kind of seen those a lot of So I

(00:56):
find the tables. Yeah, and I don't want to bash
the pest control company that comes by once a month
that takes forty dollars from me and doesn't even say
hello anyways, they know who they are. But I've had
to you know, internally. Now it's like you just home
ownership is fun. You ever seen the movie money Pit,
I'm probably you, probably with Tom Hanks.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
That's the way I feel sometimes.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
I've seen a lot of time Tom Hanks movies money.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
You get done with a project and you immediately got
to start another one because something happened right.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
So like this this past week, I.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Like my youngest daughter, she got this bed set right,
so I had to put all that together and then
I'm moving stuff out and then the old bed I
was like, hey, I'm gonna sell it. Well, I left
it propped up overnight and I just heard this loud
bang and it broke.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
So now I can't sell it. So now it's like, okay,
what do I do?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Sucks like it's not even salgable.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
No, I mean the mattress is, you know, but the
bed frame, yeah, it's done.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
You know, I'm assuming it's wood.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
It is, well, it was, it's not.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
It's still would I mean, I could probably use it
for a bonfire.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I don't know. But speaking of bonfires, Transition Radio.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Kids, Jerry is lighting a fire under Cowboys fans.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
He is, but he's not wrong.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
You don't think so.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
No, And I know me and you we get along fine, right,
And I want people to know this. This next segment
is not you know, hey, I agree with him. This
is like how I really want to feel and I
actually want to have been spinning this off with Shane
is because he didn't you know he during the breaks,
he's he's doing his thing.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
He's having this show.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Together beautifully, by the way, which is on your iHeartRadio
app as well.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Jerry's not wrong. Jerry's smart. He got you.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
That's that's the way I feel. He's a businessman. Okay,
you can explain why, of course I will. Of course
I will. Because Jerry gets you to love the Cowboys.
He buys the players you want. He gets the players
you want. Usually, when somebody is from another team and
they want to accept something, the first team that pops
up of jeams and interested.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Are the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Jerry Jones has been that way since he took over.
He always gets the key guys. He's made some controversial stuff,
right because Jimmy Johnson, he Landry.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
There's even some off field controversial stuff which we all mention.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yeah, but Jerry's Jerry, and that's any NFL owner by
the way.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, he's pt Barnum with a bigger budget.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
But he's also been able to market this team to
where people are obsessed with it. I laughed yesterday, Shane,
when I was hearing the crowd chanting all this stuff,
and you see everybody wearing what jersey Micah? Yeah, they're
wearing Micah's jersey. Micah's not going anywhere just because he

(03:44):
requested a trade. Jerry said it best yesterday. It's part
of the negotiation. Just because you request the trade doesn't
mean it's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
But that doesn't mean him that. It doesn't make him right,
it does. It doesn't make him right. How does it
make him right? How does it make Jerry's How does
it make him right? Though you said Jerry is right,
what's Jerry's What specifically was Jerry right about?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Okay? Dak Prescott? Can we go to him for a
little bit?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
That's time, I Mike, But sure we are, But I'm
gonna you gotta explain what Jerry's doing right? So, Dak Prescott,
is he worth the money? Is he worth the money?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Right?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Now Shane as a Cowboy fan. No he's not. But
you guys a couple of years ago were demanding that
he signs him.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yes, because because if you didn't sign him, he was
gonna count more against your cap. He had just come
off a an all Pro season. There was just a
first justifiable reasons to pay him. But after the injury
sustained to him and he's now thirty three thirty three,
thirty four thirty yeah something like that, Like it's it's
as understandable why think he's worth the money? And also
because as more quarterbacks getting paid, no one else is

(04:43):
getting the per year a he is.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Okay, So before then, what was Dak doing that was
so key that fans were just like.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Sign him, we can't have another quarterback.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
He was winning games? Are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
He was one of the best games? Was he winning
all of them?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
He was winning? He was He's one of the majority
of games in his career.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
He's alway against sent Francis Go in the playoffs too,
where he ran down the middle of the field.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Someone, how are you hold on? How are you?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
How are you someone who has said before that football
is the team's for and we can't take it to
the quarterbacks. But when it comes to Dak on his
issuehen it's on Dak you separated as a different issue.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
But I told you what wins championships for NFL teams
the quarterback.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
The quarterback is.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
The most point, not the most, but it's the most
elite position to have. If you're the quarterback, it is
your guarantee. Because we all hear Dak every year we're
going to super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
That's his job.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Said that, I said it. He said he wants to
go too, said the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
I understand that. But what I'm telling you from the
fan perspective, you guys demanded Jerry a couple of years
ago sign him. We need him, We had to pay hikay.
You did that again last year with CD. Lamb y'allly
want CD going anywhere?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Who would no? Because last year's chance.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Who would not want their market receiver up to lead.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Last year's chance? You know chance?

Speaker 1 (05:53):
At the at the practice was keep CD, keep CD right,
And CD was all calm, cool and collective.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
He knew the deal was going to happen.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yes, but Jerry woudnt say anything disrespectful to him about him.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
And pos Micah knows that this deal will happen. It
will happen. Jerry knows it will happen. But what keeps
you in the headlines the drama?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Right, difference this year than those last two contracts. Here's
the difference. Okay, Okay, did did Jerry get CD or
Dak's name wrong anytime? Mentioned? Is that yes or no?
What do you mean he called him Michael Parson?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (06:24):
He never You never got to see your Dak's name
wrong number number two? Okay, At no point during Dak
and see his negotiation. Apparently that Steven and Jerry talked
to him. They thought that was part of the negotiation.
I thought it was a Candon conversation. Micah has said
repeatedly he wants his reps to talk for him. If
you are a professional athlete who has reps talking for you,
the expectations they do the negotiation for you. What Micah

(06:46):
assumed there was was a candid conversation. Okay, your business man,
you are in the concept of the difference between a
friendly convo and a business convo, right.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Cut to yeah, we say cut the grapes.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Well, then, obviously, what Mike, obviously Michah feels disrespected. I
agree that I think this is all a negotiation tackle.
We agree that we think this is I don't think
Mike is going anywhere realistically, but it doesn't mean they
line was and crossed and that Jerry has lost his touch.
How old is Jerry Jones eighty four eighty five something
like that? I have no idea. Right, he's old, right,
he looks older than he probably is.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
But how fed up is Jerry Jones at this point?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
I mean in public or and Joe, and I'm not here.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
To defend Jerry. Trust me.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
There's been some moves in his career where I'm like,
what are you doing? But on this move, I think
at this point what people don't understand is how frustrating
it is.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
So you would be a general manager. I didn't say
I wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
But you said what you just wasn't hurt the money?

Speaker 1 (07:35):
I didn't say I wouldn't. Okay, right, I'm going to
negotiate that contract. And if Mike is gonna act that way,
so be it. I'm gonna act the same way. You know,
because he has presented a number to him.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
What has he done that's act acted up? He's at camp,
He's going to say off social media.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Be an adult if you want to negotiate, like you said,
like you're a businessman.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
If you want to talk about be an adult in
Jerry shouldn't be disrespectful and to to the media about Micah.
Mike has kept his mouth shut in front of the
media about all this stuff.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
That I can bring up Kawhi Leonard and what we
did that's nothing, doesn't But that's what I'm saying, is
you go to the media.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Jerry's gonna go to the media.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Jerry has always been this way, and cowboy fans you know,
he's always been this way.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yes, Jerry's fed up. He's a crazy cowboys have been coways.
Fans have been defending Jerry. Cowoys fans have been fed up.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
No, I'm saying, they're not defending. They wont him fired.
We were hearing the chance yesterday. They're on fire forever.
I mean, that's not what they really mean.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Something else.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
But we're not going to bring up this. Ain't that
kind of show. This ain't this ain't seren Sex.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah, you know, and Mike Cruise is in here on Facebook,
and I appreciate all the comments here on Facebook.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
That's Mike.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
He says, I think Jerry will end up paint.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Probably how these negotiations go. And you've seen it from
UH and the new era of negotiation that if players
hold out, players request trades, players do this, and that
the problem is is that like NFL, teams are so
hard stretched on the cap because of the way contracts
are now that they are forced to pay these players
unless unless they are willing to trade them for assets.

(09:05):
And the Cowboys have not traded a player of this
level for assets in.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
A long time. They don't do that. But this is
what Jerry loves, don't you agree? Oh, every offseason.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
I think if there are ten things that's most important
to Jerry, winning is probably bottom five. I don't believe
it's top five. I think the players care about winning.
I think the coaches came Jerry. I don't think Jerry
cares I win as much as you give him credit for.
I think you. I think you like the drama for
that aspect. But the reality is, if you, if you
pay attention to this, fans, coaches, players are fed up
with him without being without publicly saying we're fed up

(09:37):
with him.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
You bring up a good point, and you see this
is how we produce this show because Shane just gave
me this idea and he just put it into my
head by saying, I don't think I want Jerry.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Jerry doesn't want to win HM. Really I think he
does H.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
So coming up next, we'll get back into the Jerry
Jones Harson's drama next on The Fanatics on ticket seven
