In the main event, Terrence Crawford defeated Canelo Alvarez unanimous
decision because he owned Canelo. And I hate saying this
the way that I'm saying it, but let's be real, folks,
Terrence Crawford is the real deal now.

He defeats Canelo Alvarez Unana's decisions Saturday night in front
of a crowd of seventy four and eighty two people.
That's a huge crowd for boxing. Now, Crawford is now
forty two to oh with thirty one of those being knockouts.
The match was one fifteen to one thirteen and the
third one sixteen to one twelve. Crawford moved up two

weight classes, went down to a knee even before the
decision was announced, and wept when he was named the winner.
You have to understand that fight last night. Crawford is
now the guy now, Max who sucked in his postgame
he sounded like this Shane. He would be like, now

see he would just pause where you had dead air
and I'm like, what are you doing now?

He did make a mistake, yeah, and.

I'm gonna call it out because I know Canilo Alvarez
fans hurt it too, and it made me turn my head.

He called Terrence Crawford the goat of this era? Is
that true? And I want people to weigh in.

Okay, So if we're we're counting real boxing, right, not
that stuff they put on with that guy from YouTube
boxing real boxing, because I think a guy's like, you know,
like Tyson Fury and Deontay Wider like that that that
that trilogy was great, right like that that that was one.

Of the better ones we've seen before.

Obviously pe're gonna throw out, you know, Mayweather, But to
me with Mayweather, and I don't know how much you've
seen him fight, he is very much of the best
offense is a good defense mentality. He does not let
he does not throw punch, He lets you tie yourself
out and he and he lands the and he lands
the blows and wins by points. Crawford is very much
a guy who can land points and has sustainability Canelo,
who I think an offense to Canelo. I do think

that his best years are behind him, but he's still
very much an effective fighter.

I don't know if he's the goat of this era.

I think right now you could make the argument he's
the most he's the most popular draw of the up
and comers.

You take that into account, and it has worked.

I mean, this dude has a belt in every welterweight
out there, right, you know, and that's that's amazing to me,
you know, and to me it's like, you're fighting Alvarez.
If you're going to be something in the boxing world,
you have to defeat people like Alvarez. And he handily
handled Alvarez last night. Alvarez didn't know what was coming. Now,

we get it, like there was a lot of talk
about both men retiring, right because Alvarez is thirty seven,
Crawford is thirty five.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
But the reach on that kid man, that reach.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
That Crawford had on Alvarez was five inches, which you
could tell was the huge difference maker in.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
That fight last night.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
And Alvarez, he would get in there, he would get
his jabs, he would get his punches, but Crawford was
able to bounce back. Towards the eleventh and twelfth round,
Crawford was making Canelo a little wobbly on the feet,
and it was crazy.

It was crazy to watch.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
And again they set a record of over seventy thousand
fans there. Now the over under here, I think they're
gonna have a rematch.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
They have to.

Oh yeah, they have to, and it's gonna be in
Saudi Arabia. Well, after last night and seeing everything that
we saw, you.

See that sometimes because Saudi Arabia has a lot less
sanctions on this kind of thing.

And I wanted to talk a little bit about WWE,
Shane and know that we're not really fans of it,
but I think they sold out WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia.

Well, the thing is, like I mean Saudi Arabia, Like,
first of all, they had the money to do it,
and second of all, like WWE, whether it's as popular
as it once was or not, it's not. But whether
it is or isn't, WrestleMania is one of those things
you just buy the tickets to. It's kind of like
whether you like baseball or not, if you had tickets
to the World Series, you.

Would go to the game.

So yeah, So I guess a couple of days ago,
wrestle Mania forty three will reportedly be held in Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Now here's the thing. Shame on the WWE.

I get every other contest, I get boxing, I get
all this, I get everything in the world that would
go over to Saudi Arabia. You tell me who is
a WWE fan? Right, You've got kids that are they
follow it? You've got adults, Yeah, we all follow it.
And like I always say, it's a guy's soap opera,

you know, or soapbox or whatever we call it. And
you're gonna sell yourself out to where you're not gonna
have the fans that you've had, like in MetLife Stadium
or the super Dome, or you're not gonna have those
hundred thousand.

And there's a lot of wrestlers actually out there that
are kind of standing up against the WWE for this.
So that'll be interesting to watch because apparently it's just
a report and we only like to do reporting around
here allegedly. Yeah, so that'll be interesting. But again, you're
gonna see and I'm gonna call it right now on
