Just what is A.I? What isn't A.I? Does artificial intelligence affect me? These are questions that students have now and will continue to have as A.I. becomes more and more integrated in our everyday lives. We speak with Adrian Tyson, a NSW teacher and co-founder of Neuranext Artificial Intelligence, an organisation that it is passionate about helping both teachers and students learn more about artificial intelligence through experiential learning.

Hosted by Ben Newsome from Fizzics Education

About Adrian Tyson

Along with co-founder Dr. Andrew Kyngdon, Adrian has developed a course for all school students to introduce them to the science and technology of A.I through their organisation Neauranext Artifical Intelligence.  They have the first NESA approved course for teachers in A.I. and have created a series of experiential activities where students create data and apply A.I. to it, and in doing so learn the key concepts and applications of A.I. Culminating in the training and deployment of Autonomous Robotic Cars, the program seeks to spark interest in arguably the most transformative technology of a generation.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
