Episode Title: Legacy Living and Giving: Helping Your Loved Ones and Those God Loves

Aired: 05/28/2025
Guest: Pastor, Author, and Speaker Brian Kluth
Host: Jason Davis, aka Mr. Fortify

๐Ÿ”ฅ Episode Overview:
In this powerful Tools & Resources episode of The Fortified Life Podcast, Jason Davis welcomes back renowned pastor, author, and global generosity advocate Brian Kluth. Together, they take a deep dive into the topic of legacy living and givingโ€”how to live a meaningful life rooted in faith, generosity, purpose, and preparation.

With practical frameworks and biblically sound wisdom, Brian shares five critical points to help individuals and families eliminate chaos and confusion while building lives of impact and intentionality.

๐Ÿงฑ Key Takeaways:
1. FAITH Matters โ€“"F.A.I.T.H. = Fantastic Adventures In Trusting Him" Faith is the foundation of the legacy life. Brian challenges listeners to embrace faith as a life of adventure with God, quoting Galatians 2:20 and John 10:10.
2. FIND Your Purpose โ€“ Purpose is where passion, skills, resources, God's plan, and people's needs intersect. Brian shares a four-circle visual to illustrate how true purpose emerges from our talents, possessions, divine assignments, and the needs around us.
3. FAMILY Matters โ€“"Information is more important than wealth." Brian emphasizes the importance of preparing your family for the future with tools like the Because I Love You Legacy Organizer. A lack of preparation leads to chaos, confusion, and even financial loss.
4. FOCUSED Giving โ€“"Do your giving while you're living so you're knowing where it's going." Brian encourages regular, spontaneous, sacrificial, and legacy givingโ€”emphasizing the importance of honoring God with both our income and accumulated wealth.
5. FINISH Well โ€“"Life is a three-legged stool: money, sex, and power. Lose one leg, and everything falls." To finish well, Brian advises listeners to pursue purity, generosity, and humility while maintaining a long-term, Kingdom-focused perspective.๐Ÿ“š Featured Resources:

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Welcome to the Fortified Life Podcast, where we learn how
to develop a dependency on Jesus in the marketplace. From
the boardroom to the bathroom, God is with you. Here's
our host, author, speaker, teacher, encourager or a chief coach,
and my husband, the man they call mister Fortify, Jason Davis.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Hey, what's going on everybody? Welcome back to another episode
of the Fortified Life podcast where we are passionate about
developing a dependency on Jesus in the marketplace. I'm your host,
Jason Davis aka mister Fortify. Every week we have the
opportunity to bring on authors, speakers, coaches, leaders of nonprofits
who are all passionate about putting God back in business

(01:01):
as well.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Folks.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I'm really excited today because we've got a returning guest
and that's none other than author, speaker, pastor Brian Kluth. Brian,
it's good to have you back on the show.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Hey, Jason, great to be with you and your followers.
And you know, we really want to encourage him today.
You know, God has good plans for their life and
we want to encourage him on that path and how
they can kind of live out live out a life
that's really.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Meaningful, absolutely, folks. As you know, we've got our normal
interview episodes and then we've got tools and Resources episodes
that help you in your life or business day to day.
And this is one of our tools and Resources episodes.
And Brian, as God has given him so many just
supernatural frameworks and things to step through. So our topic

(01:49):
that we're going to kind of work through today is
legacy living and giving help your loved ones and those
who God loves. And so I and I'm just going
to have a conversation and He's just going to walk
through five critical points and I'm sure there's a lot
of places we can go off of each of those,
but that's what we're going to be discussing today. So Brian,

(02:13):
just as we kick off, I know that we've talked
in the past, and just when God gives you these
different points, what what kind of was the catalyst to
have this conversation around legacy living and giving you.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Know, where it really comes from is I had the
privilege of being a senior pastor for ten years and
during that season, you know, I've unfortunately buried a lot
of people, and I sat with a spouse and I
sat with the adult kids and you know, talking about
their life and their legacy, and you know, what did
the family need at that point of transition? And I

(02:52):
just discovered a lot of families just didn't have information
they really needed, and the consequence of that was chaos
and conflict and confusion and loss of cash, all kinds
of things. And so I ended up putting together I
researched over one hundred legacy organizers' planners to create my own.

(03:17):
Someone says, if you take from one source, it's plagiarism,
but if you take from one hundred, then it's research.
I like that, So I ultimately created my own, but
I got ideas from so many so I try to
create the best legacy organizer in the world. But then
also I developed a resource called Retirement rewired, plugging into
God's higher purpose for your future and trying to help

(03:38):
people say say, look, your life matters, and you can
put a career in the review mirror, but God's kingdom
is still in front of you, and until you take
your last breath, you know there's work to be done
and things that God wants to do through you and
in you and for you. So anyway, so I built
resources around those ideas and it's really beneficial for all

(03:59):
a And the nice thing is all my resources are
a gift. Today. I'm trying to live the legacy life,
legacy living and giving. So everything I've got available is downloadable, free,
and people can access it and use it and share it.
So I just love living a generous life.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
That's awesome, Brian, and folks, we'll have all of Brian's
resources in the show notes available to as well. Brian,
you said something critical there. You talked about kind of
in that space where there's a lack of thought about legacy.
You mentioned words like chaos and confusion, which no human

(04:38):
being likes. So, Brian, before you get into the five points,
I just wanted to kind of pull on that thread
a little bit. Is no human being likes confusion or chaos,
and yet the things to establish, to put in place
so that we don't experience that. It's just tell me,
in your experience as a pastor, travel in the world

(05:01):
and deal with nonprofits, we don't like that outcome, yet
so many experience those. Just where do you think that
gap is and how can we go about trying to
you know, we we can experience something greater than those
two outcomes. Just if you could speak to that for us.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, I think the biggest thing is people don't know
what they don't know, and they've never really been given
tools put in front of them to help them think through.
They're like, oh, I'm all set, I got to you know,
like most much. I got a will. All right, Well,
the will is fine, But if you don't have every
account number and the phone number and the website and
the value of any investment or money you have in

(05:43):
an account, it doesn't matter what your will says if
they can't find the money. You know, and I got
and I've got stories of people that couldn't find the money,
and you know, the spouse couldn't find the money, or
the kids couldn't find the money, And so doesn't matter
if you think you kind of did a few things.
There's a lot of information. You know, the Bible says,

(06:04):
you know that we are to provide for our families
and not to provide for our families, you know, worse
than an infidel. Well, you know what your family needs.
Biggest thing need is information. It's it's not the wealth
you're going to transfer, it's information about that wealth. And
information about your life and your wishes and your valuables
and your values. So anyway, so most people don't have

(06:26):
any tool to kind of help them put it all
together in one place. So that's what I spent my
time doing is building lists and that could really guide
someone along. Hey, how can I do something? And it's
called because I love you Christian Legacy organizer? What when
you're talking about and it's because I love my spouse,
because I love my kids, because I love my grandkids.

(06:49):
That I've taken some time, used a tool and then
really try to, you know, impart it to my family
so they can you know, yes, there's grief that I'm
you know, the person gone, but there's not the chaos,
the confusion, the conflict and the loss of really massive
amounts of cash sometimes.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Wow, that's huge, Brian. The first point you have kind
of out of your five is faith matters, and it's
an acronym. Just unpack that for us, the F, the A,
the I, the T, and the H.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
I love this wherever I go, I kind of open
my talks. God wants everyone listening to live a life
of faith. Well what's faith? FAI T H fantastic adventures
in trusting Him your life, excuse me, everyone's life is
to be a faith journey. In other words, it's a

(07:43):
relationship with God, and God is working in your life.
And actually in Galatians to twenty it says even stronger,
says that we've been crucified with Christ. It is no
longer we who live, but Christ lives in us and
the life we live by faith. You know we we
we live in Him. We live in Christ, anyone who

(08:04):
loved us and gave himself for us. So it's really
this faith life, is this Christ life living out through
us that others would be blessed and helped and encouraged
in our in life.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I love that starting point, Brian, because it and I
know these build on each other. Uh, faith being the
foundation of everything we do, and that's why faith matters.
And I love that you said adventure because there's so
many people they just they think and unfortunately sometimes it's
our own fault in the body of Christ. But oh

(08:40):
it's they're just it's a bunch of rule following and
I can't do anything and it's stuffy. And I love
the adventure. What what made you be so strategic and
selecting that language and talking about why faith matters.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
You know, I think for me, my faith, my life
has been an adventure. I mean, I've lived an amazing life.
I came to Christ at the age of twenty and
I said, Jesus, I've come to you. You say in
John ten ten that I could have life and have
it more abundantly, and I don't even know what that is.
Whatever that is, I love it. I want that. I
want that abundant life that only you can give. And

(09:16):
now for fifty years I'll be Christian fifty years coming
up here this fall. It's been an amazing life, and
it's been a Christ centered life and of Christ focused
and I've the things I've been able to do in
the lives I've been able to impact, and I mean,
you know, it's amazing what God has done. And so

(09:38):
it's been this adventure. But I'm not done. You know.
You know, someone says, if you're not dead, you're not done.
If you got a pulse, God still has a purpose
and a plan. So as long as you've got to
paulse as long as you're not dead, God still has
works to do Seasians two ten. You're created in Christ
Jesus under good works which God has prepared in advance
that you would walked in them. There's no expiration date

(10:01):
on that except for the day you leave your heaven day.
Then then you're done. But until between now and your
heaven day, you know, there's work, there's good works to
be done.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
M I love that as long as there's breath in
your body and that and that serves as a perfect segue, Brian,
because faith is our foundation. Faith matters. There's breath in
your body. So then that's where words like purpose come
into play. And that's your second point, is that find
your purpose. Talk to us about once you understand the

(10:36):
foundation of faith and we put our faith in Jesus
Christ and we're created onto good works and we're starting
to getting the purpose, you know, Brian, I think it's
it's got to be one of the number one trending
Google search results are in this age of AI. Now,
what's my purpose? How do I find my purpose? Just
just talk about out of our faith being the foundation,

(10:58):
how does that flow into finding our purpose?

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Yeah, the there's I've got some graphics that I just love.
There's four circles right, uh, and you can't see him here.
But there's four circles, and one is you're good at it? Right?
What what are you good at? What? What are your experiences?
Your life experiences, your skills, your interests, your passions. You
know what are you good at? Right? It's one thing?

(11:23):
Then you know what do you have? You know what
is your what are your finances? What are your possessions?
What is that like? What do you what do you possess?
What do you have authority over? You know, you're not
an owner of those things. You're a steward of those things.
We're not we're not owners, we're stewards. But right, but
you're good at something and you have resources to work with. Right.
A lot of people just live their life and that

(11:43):
in that vertical Okay, I'm gonna live for myself, do
what i want, do what i'm good at. I'm gonna,
you know, use stuff for myself. And that's it. They're
just operating that way. But there's a whole another dimension.
There's two other circles, and one is that God has plans.
And I just said, if he'sans to attend you are created.
You are God's masterpiece, created in Christ unto good works

(12:07):
which God has prepared so that you need to have
a natural like, Okay, how do I take what I'm
good at and the possessions and the wealth and the
resources I have, and where does that fit into God's
plans for my life? Right? What are those plants? Because
the end of life, there's should be one goal in
Matthew twenty five. You know that you would hear well done,

(12:27):
that good and faithful servant. That's the goal, right, there's
no other goal. You know, if you put making any
other goal, you're missing the mark. But you live for
that goal, he said. But there's one circles God's plans,
but another circle the other four circles people need help.
People need help and that and that may be your family,
that may be in your community, that may be in

(12:49):
your church, that may be in your city, that may
be in your country, that may be in the around
the globe. I'm involved. We've been involved now the last
several years helping people that we've helped over one hundred
thousand people right wow, in Africa. One hundred thousand people
with life changing products that will change their lives forever.

(13:11):
Water filters for dirty water, solar lamps for people who
have no They don't they don't have light cookstoves for
with low smoke, for women that are cooking over in
horrible conditions, and something called farming God's way that'll get
people enough food. So I've been doing this for a
number of years. I have not made one dollar, right,

(13:32):
not one dollar doing that work. But it's part of
God's plan in my life things. I'm good at, my wealth,
my possessions, God's plans. He showed me these people, He
showed me, gave me the solutions on how you could
help people. And so we started the ministry called Healthy
Charity dot org and people, you know, people give to

(13:53):
us and because they're excited what we're doing or it's
so life changing lives. And then we also do something
called Gospel life events where we use a solar lamp
to explain the gospel. We say, your kerosene lamp or
your candle life is your stinky, dark, dirty, costly, toxic life.
And when you become a Christian, you get rid of

(14:14):
that and Jesus makes your solo lamp, and the solar lamp,
you just put it in the sun every day and
it'll charge bright, brightly for years. And with a Christian
you put yourself in God's word in prayer every day,
and then you just go out and live your life
and you shine brightly. So it's a beautiful picture of
the Gospel and thousands of this last year we have
five thousand families. No one had ever heard of that

(14:35):
illustration of the Gospel light, you know, with soldar lamps
and the kerosene lamps and candles. They never heard that,
but they said, wow, this is so relevant. But you
see in those four circles. Then there's purpose. They use
who I am and what I have, and what God's
plans are with the people He's shown me to help,
and then there's purpose. But anyone there's there's that quick story.

(15:01):
I wanted to quick story, please please. A friend of
mine so retired, you know, got a lake homb moved there.
You know, got his pontoon boat, his fishing boat, all
his fishing equipment, and he's good at that. He's good
at fishing, right, really good at fishing. And he had
all of the stuff. He had all the stuff. So
he was just living in that vertical Okay, I get
up every day and they go fishing. Okay, well, you

(15:24):
know there's no golfing. I just play pickleball, but was fishing.
And so he was doing that for a while and
he's like, is this all there is? And he's like, okay, God,
you brought me to this new town, this this little
town in Michigan, and God, are there people that need
help in this town? And he discovered in his church
there a bunch of single moms with young boys. And

(15:47):
so you know what he did. He started the fishing
club and he gathered boys, you know, five six boys,
and take them fishing, teach them how to fish, clean
the fish, teach them about Christ, you know, do Bible
studies with him. And so he took what he's good
at in his possessions and then realized God had a
plan and a purpose for his life and people needed help,
these mothers and these boys, and he found purpose. So

(16:11):
that's beautiful. Rights. He still got to do what he loves,
but now he got to do it in God's plan
and to bless people. And I love that illustration because
it's all four circles working. And for anyone, what are
you good at? What are God's plans? What's your finances
and possessions? And what are people that God is showing
you need? Help. When you put that together, you're going

(16:33):
to find purpose.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
M That's a great graphic, Brian. And I love the
part about people because you know, I feel like Brian
different from you know, in the Kingdom of God, following
God's kingdom agenda versus the world. You know, people kind
of get stuck in that what I'm good at and
I make money. And I love that reflective question from

(16:56):
the gentleman, like Okay, I'm great at fishing. What like
is that it?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
So?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Whatever it is, you know, you got you know, whether
you know in Hollywood, actor, actress, I'm the best accountant, CEO, whatever.
And I love that introspective question.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Like, man, is that it is that? Okay? Cool?

Speaker 2 (17:17):
I make six, seven, eight figures, I have financial freedom
this lifestyle. But is that really it? So that is
a powerful story that resonates for you know, that reflective
question to come out and say, hey, what about the
people around you? And I'm still using his skill set

(17:38):
but then glorifying God on God's agenda. I had a
friend of mine, Brian. He puts it this way, rather
than look at your thing, find out what God is
doing and go go do join him, Go join him.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
So I love that.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
So, Brian, we've got faith matters, find your purpose, and
now family matters. We already teed it up with people,
but now how does family factor into what we're talking about.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Yeah, and here's where where the legacy organizer is so important.
Your family and your spouse need information. And when I
do live speaking events, I tell a lot of stories,
but just one of the stories related to finances. So
my dad was dying of cancer. He sits down my mom.
He writes on a napkin, Well, honey, I need to

(18:27):
tell you about the finances. It's about six weeks before
he dies. So he writes down, you know what his
pension is and some insurance policies and all that, and
then he writes down he said, oh, by the way,
he said, you know, you know a's a fire chief,
and I took out an employee life insurance policy for
one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars and so when
i'm you know, when I'm gone, you're going to get

(18:49):
that money. And so he wrote that down to the napkin.
He passed away several weeks later, and a couple of
months later, my mom called me and said, hey, Brian,
I think Dad made a mistake. I said, what are
you talking about? He said, well, I got a check
from the insurance company with the fire department, and it's
a check for twenty five thousand, and it says, here's
the check, or sorry, your husband passed away, here's the check.

(19:10):
Please please sign the document that you've been paid in
full and send it back in the closed envelope. And
so Dad made a mistake. He said it was one
twenty five, but it's only twenty five. I said to
my mother, I said, okay, you call them back and
you tell them you have a written note from your
husband and it's one twenty five and not twenty five.
And she did that and they said, oh, we're sorry,
we made a typographically error. Please send us the check

(19:34):
back and we'll send you the one twenty five. In
that story, and I could weep thinking about it, somebody
was scamming widows. Wow, because they know that spouse never
told them about the employee life insurance policy. So when
the widow gets twenty five thousand dollars, what do they do?
They cash it and they send it back the letter

(19:55):
back saying paid in full signed, Why so what? And
so my dad's the best thing advice you ever gave
me was a short pencil is better than a long memory.
And so this my my legacy organizer is filled with
like financial list and and document list you know where

(20:15):
are things and and list of questions to ask you
about a person's life. Right, so things you can ask
aging parents about their their values and their stories and
capturing those and you know and then you know what
are your what are your funeral wishes? You know what
are those? And my mother, she we sat down with
one day to plan her funeral, and she got mad

(20:35):
at us as kids. She said, you should know everything
I want. We said, we have no idea what you want.
You're my children. We said, Mom, what are your favorite songs?
You should know this? You know who do you want
to be? The Paul Bears? You should know this? You
know every? She every, She knew everything she wanted, but
she had never told a single person. So that day

(20:57):
we I had my chart and my my lit and
I went down and I asked the questions, who do
you want to preach at the funeral? And she said,
I don't like the new pastor. He's a yahoo. Don't
let him preach my funeral. And she said who preach
you preach it, Brian, Okay, I'll preach it right. But
she knew everything she wanted, but it wasn't written down.

(21:18):
So one of the things the Legacy Organizer is some
parents are never going to do this, But if you're
the adult child, son or daughter, you work with this
list and you go to mom and dad and say, hey,
we need to get some information down before this day.
That day comes. So really there's a lot of things
related to family that are really, really, really important, but

(21:39):
most people don't even know where to begin. That's why
the Legacy Organizer are so important.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
M Yeah, Brian, you you made me think about just
in talking with family and whatnot. I'm amazed at how
it's always a wedding or funeral that kind of drives
different conversations. I'll be a different one, but you're absolutely right.
Why let the funeral be the only catalyst for action.

(22:07):
Let's go ahead and work these things out with our
family and have the conversations. And for those of us
in Christ, we're going to a better place, yes, I mean,
my goodness, so we don't have to grieve as the
world grieves. So this is gonna be folks. A great
resource that Brian has prepared that can help families navigate.

(22:31):
Let's go ahead and get this stuff worked out because
we know we're you know, it's the equalizer, you know,
and death. We're all gonna pass away. Let's be prepared
for it. So thank you for welcoming us to that, Brian.
So we've got faith matters, find your purpose, family matters,
and then we get into the area of generosity focused giving.

(22:52):
What do you mean by that, Brian?

Speaker 3 (22:53):
Yeah? What I mean by that is is God calls
us in this faith life that we're to be generous
people and their systematic giving where we're just faithfully giving
to the Lord. I have something I develop called the
Generosity Pledge. But in that pledge, people say, yeah, I'm
going to faithfully give to my church, to missions, maybe
a child responsor, but irregular consistent giving. Right. But then

(23:16):
they're spontaneous giving. That's where God lays something on your heart,
might be a project or a person or a program,
and you want to get behind it, and maybe a
one time gift or a pledge or something, and you
get involved with that and you're focusing your giving. There's
also a place for sacrificial giving where you're looking at
the problems. Three nine. It says we're to honor the
Lord with our wealth and with our first fruits. Wealth

(23:40):
means accumulated assets. So bank accounts, property businesses, life insurance policies,
pension funds are accumulated wealth. It's not an either or
a work to honor the Lord with our wealth and
with our income. You know, but ninety percent of a
person's wealth is in accumulated assets. But most people are

(24:03):
just kind of giving off of the paycheck or giving
off of whatever moneys are coming in monthly. But God
wants us to be very intentional in the latter years
of our life while we're living, you know, do your
living while you're do your giving while you're living, so
you're knowing where it's going, right, So, yes, where are
you're going to be giving while you're living? And your

(24:25):
greatest gifts, your greatest gifts you'll ever give, are going
to be typically in your fifties and your sixties seventies,
and those years are where you're going to be able
to give. Some people are going to be five figure gifts,
six summer seven figure gifts or whatever. Right, but also
a legacy gift. Legacy gifts where yes on your when
you pass you you were investing in the Kingdom of

(24:47):
God for eternity. So I was with a friend of mine,
dear dear friend, very close to me, and he was
showing me his estate plans. One day, pulled out his
quick books, and you know, he was very, very wealthy,
and he had properties, the insurance policies and salaries and
you know, all kinds of things, and he was very
wealth And he told me what he's going to do
for his wife and what he's going to do for

(25:08):
his kids, and said, what do you think, you know,
what do you think of my plans? And I said, well,
they're great, great plans. So you only forgot one thing.
He said, what did I What do you mean I
forgot something? I said, you cut God out of the plan.
He said, what are you talking about. I said, in
all of your wealth, you have no God plan. You have.
This guy's a very very faithful giver, generous giver out

(25:31):
of his income. But I said to him, I'll call
him Bill. Bill. You you you have all this wealth
and you have no plans to honor God with it.
He goes, Brian, I never thought about it. And this
guy was an elder at his church. He was a
certified financial planner. He so life insurance, you know, all
kinds of things, and he never thought about it. So

(25:54):
I wrote a little flyer called bless your Church in
God's Work. This is another free resource. And what this
flyer does is it just helps a couple have a conversation, well,
what wealth do we have? Just write it down to
the little chart and you just write down the houses
and investments them turns whatever you write it down, and

(26:15):
then you make little notes about where do you want
to make bequest might be a percentage or an amount,
and there's a place you can sign it. And if
your family has that, they know that those are your wishes.
Now you can make it legal if you want. But
if nothing else, you've got something written down where you
as a couple have talked about it, or use an individualist,

(26:36):
thought about it and you say these are my wishes.
So I help people to focus their giving while they're living,
and they're giving when they make a legacy bequest. So
that's where focus giving comes in.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
So good folks. I wish we could have Brian another
three hours, but we can't. But he will kind of
like the Avengers movies, he will return to the fortified life.
I already talked to him offline. I said, Brian, we've
got to we've got to keep bringing you back so
we can keep pulling from the wisdom that God has
given you. Uh. That brings us to your fifth and

(27:13):
final point, Brian. So we have faith, matters, find your purpose,
family matters, focus, giving, and then the all importance of
finishing well. How do we finish well? Brian?

Speaker 3 (27:29):
I think what I'm trying to focus on here is
that you've got to be intentional, you know you you
You've got to be careful with your life and with
your choices. And I really call life has a three
legged stool, uh. And if you if you break one
of these legs, you're going over and everybody around you
is going to suffer. And that and those three legs

(27:51):
are money, sex, and power. You mess up with money,
you mess up with sex, you mess up with power,
You're going over, and so are all the people that
you care about and that love you. And so you've
got to make sure you have a long term view
of your life and say, look, look, you want to
you want to run to the finish line, and you

(28:12):
want to finish well, and you want to honor God,
you want to honor your loved ones, you want to
honor your family.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
And we know way too many stories and there's some
big people that have fallen in recent years, you know,
Christian leaders and business people and pastors and authors, and
they did not finish well. I mean, they lived well
and did a lot of things well, but somewhere along
the way they made some really bad choices and they

(28:40):
they've suffered the consequences and everybody around them have suffered.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
And so we just need that as a goal. That's
even back to the finishing wells. Hey, well done, the
good and faithful servant, right, that's that's the goal that
we're living, not for ourselves, not for our flesh, not
for you know, money, not for fame, not for anything
we're living. We're living for the Lord and uh and
that we we do that. But it's uh yeah, you can't.

(29:08):
It is a three leggeds duel and you you mess
up one leg and you're going over and uh. So uh,
just a real important goal to just say, I want
to finish well.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
So mm hmm. I love the the legacy sold Brian
because it speaks to the the chain reaction that can happen,
uh when we when we fall short in one of
those areas, and how it you know, there's there's impact there.
So I love how that the three legs kind of

(29:39):
draw attention to that and how we've got to, you know,
stay focused and stay on our knees honestly, and humility
and dependence on God.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Yeah, and with the three legs too. With sex it's
about purity, and with with money it's about living and
living with a focus on generosity, and then with power
really walking about humility and integrity. Uh. Those are the
things you have to maintain unless you unless you tip
over and suffer the consequences. Mm.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
So good man, Brian. As we get ready to close,
anything you want to add concerning this topic, this has
been so rich and folks, we'll talk about this when
we ask Brian his contact information because you can hear
him discuss this and keynotes and teaching and preaching he'll
come out uh and and uh and and they'll only
the way he can share it. He'll do that. But

(30:33):
any just final words, uh, concerning this this topic.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
Now, I think a few things. One is I want
everyone to know that anything I've ever written is available
to you. And I've written things again on retirement, on finances,
on generosity, on singleness because I lost my wife and
at single again, I had to get and got remarried
and and I let a citywide singles ministry. So thanks
for singleness, all kinds of rechar all of that's available

(31:02):
at healthy charity dot org, healthy charity dot org, slash forward,
slash gifts gifts, healthy charity dot org slash gifts, and
you're welcome to anything there and you're welcome to share it.
But also i want people to know that I'm available
to do free guests speaking with free materials at marketplace

(31:22):
ministries around the country or my city in Denver. My
desire going into the future is really to just serve
others with my legacy years. And legacy years are what
you're doing is you're trying to pass on to the
coming generations what God is entrusted to you. So as
I live my life, my goal is to live a
generous life and a faithful life, but to really be

(31:45):
a source of empowerment and encouragement and equipping to others.
And so I'm available to do that. So there it's
just Global generosity dot org is the website slash speaking
or slash marketplace. Global generosity dot org slash marketplace, and

(32:07):
there's where all my messages are with all the free materials,
and you can check that out.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Awesome. Thank you for that, Brian. And folks, don't you worry.
Brian has a wealth of resources and you will know
exactly how to get to them. All the links that
Brian is sharing, we'll have them in the show notes
because he has a lot of them that can help you.
And he's spent his entire life dedicated to serving people,
and so all of these resources are available to you. Brian.

and we're gonna we're gonna get all.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
We're gonna milk every.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
Single one because God has just graced him. And really, Brian, truly,
God has graced you in so many different areas and
people just need to hear, they need to hear everything
that God not only is done in your life, but
God is He's on the move. He really is. And
I love, Brian, I mentioned all the different categories, you know, generosity, singleness,

(33:10):
starting over, you know, serving, How can you I think
I vaguely remember, Brian, even just there's kind of a
top three to five needs globally. Just you thinks, yeah,
you know what if you if you want to care
about the world and help the needy.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Yeah, I've discovered the best products in the world that
change and transformed life. So as almost like, look, you're
sitting on resources and you're like, well, why did God
give me all these resources? Psalm sixty seven seven says
God blesss us so all the ends of the earth
may worship him. So have you been blessed with resources
that you know you've been destined to give to the

(33:47):
Kingdom of God and the work of God that they
need to ultimately get to the ends of the earth.
And yeah, I've been there. I've been to the ends
of the earth, and I'm going back, nevergret to take
along our solutions with those that want to partner with us.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Men to that. Well, Brian, that's all we've got time
for on the show. Thank you so much, folks. Brian
will be back for sure. That's all we have time for.
