Speaker 1 (00:13):
Welcome to the Fortified Life podcast, where we learn how
to develop a dependency on Jesus in the marketplace. From
the boardroom to the bathroom, God is with you. Here's
our host, author, speaker, teacher, encourager, puritie, coach, and my husband.
It's the man they call mister FortyFive Jason Davis.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Everybody?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Welcome back to the Fortified Life podcast, where we are
passionate about developing a dependency on Jesus in the marketplace.
I'm your host, Jason Davis aka mister Fortifi. Every week
we have the opportunity to bring on authors, speakers, coaches, entrepreneurs,
leaders and nonprofits corporate executives, all who are also passionate
(01:02):
about putting God back in business. And it's no different
this week, ladies and gentlemen. I'm especially excited because I
love when we have opportunity to take a peek behind
the curtain and the arts and entertainment space. And our
guest today is Chosie Aube. He's a Palestinian actor, filmmaker,
(01:26):
podcaster and digital designer. Yes he does all those things,
but welcome to the Fortified Life. Josie. What's going on man, Hey.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Man, thank you for having me. Thank you for having me?
What an introduction made? You made me feel.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Good that Hey listen. If there's anything we try to
do on the show, Josie, it's to make our guests
feel welcome. Well, Chosie, being that God has given you
many gifts. So actor, filmmaker, podcaster, digital designer, let's start
as an actor. How did you get into acting? What
(02:02):
inspired you to do so? Because we know that that's
just you just don't walk into that, right, So how
did you get started?
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Well, when I was a little kid, I always used
to watch films, right, and then when I watched little films,
I try to imitate the actors. So it's always been
ingrained me since I was a little kid. I will
go play dress up, change my voice, try to pretend
I'm somebody else. And my dad comes from a background
(02:31):
of performing arts, so it's kind of like it poured
in from him, right. So my dad growing up in
these Drusalem in Palestine. My dad had a band called
Al Kawakiv which means the Planets, and that band had
a music division performing arts. The division like theater and
(02:53):
dancing as well. So he was a jack of old
trades man. He was a dancer. He used to play
every instrument, had a band, he used to do theater, poetry,
He used to write his own plays. So I always
was inspired by my dad and just being around him,
watching him, and he involved me as much as he
could in what he's doing. So I always had a
(03:15):
love for it, right. And I remember when I was
maybe twelve years old, my father bought me those bulky
cameras with the little cassette cassette right, and it's just
something I think he signed me and he's like, I'm
gonna get you this for your birthday, and boom, he
(03:36):
showed me how it works and whatnot. Didn't take long.
The next day, I was already making films. And the
way I did it, I would call my neighbors next
door and across the street and just gather all the
kids around my age and we would just create skits.
That's way before TikTok and Instagram and the reels existed,
(03:57):
so we will just create reels and have some fun.
But then we also made some films and like so
many different action films and drug dealing films and ebody
on the roof and throwing a dummy that looked like
the person, so we did at all. So I always
(04:17):
had a love for acting and filmmaking, but unfortunately there's
no future for that back home as the Palestinian. You
know how they say the sky is the limit. Back home,
the ceiling is the limit where we're occupied as an
apartheid country, and if you're Palestinian, regardless if you're Muslim
or Christian, you don't have that much opportunities because you're
(04:37):
not viewed as equal in that state. So I always said,
I'm going to go to the US because I see
that you can build something out of nothing, right, And
I knew there's some problems and some racism in the
US and how they've viewed certain people, So I had
that in the back of my mind, but I was like,
(04:58):
at least I can be more free in the US
rather than oppressed back home. So I moved to the
US and did not even think about acting or filming,
went to school, studied computer science for my undergrad then
didn't like it. Gave my degree to my dad because
that's what he wanted me to study. I guess he
(05:18):
didn't want me to be a struggling artist, right, because
my dad had his band and then the Antifada, the
revolution happened in nineteen eighty six, nineteen eighty seven up
to nineteen ninety one, and then we didn't have any parties,
any theater, any performing arts. So my dad went from
a performing artist to an accountant. So he didn't want
(05:40):
me to struggle. So I guess he was pushing me
to study something that can pay me well, which at
that time was computer science. So I studied computer science
for my undergrad at Georgia's Southern University good All, Statesboro, Georgia.
We can talk about that some more culture shock. And
then I was like, I'm more creative, so I started
studying web design and graphic design. And then fast forward
(06:05):
to about five six years ago, twenty nineteen, I had
a I guess you can call it a midlife crisis,
and I reached out to God yelling for my purpose,
and long story short, he led me into acting and
I was like, man, I haven't done that since I
was a child. You know, I did it from age
(06:26):
of twelve to seventeen, not professionally, just me in my camera.
And I went to take a class and I remember
the teacher saying, you'll be stupid. If you don't pursue this,
it's in you. So I started taking classes, I got
signed with an agent, and I started auditioning and booking
(06:50):
some roles here and there. Then I started understanding that
how the industry works, the business aspect, how corrupted it is,
how evil it can be. Where do I fit in
that is not tainted, that is not pushing a specific
narrative that I don't really believe in, so try to
navigate that. I was like, I don't know. I'm just
(07:11):
gonna do it, but I'm gonna be careful. And then
COVID happened, and then I decided during that time to
start writing short films. So I started writing short films
and I brought like minded people to help me bring
it to life. And the more I did it, the better.
I became behind the camera and in front of the
camera as an actor. And then I started doing more
(07:34):
short films. I've done five short films and I was like,
let me put them in film festivals and see how
they do. They did great, I won some awards. I
was like, Okay, I have an audience. I guess I
have something here. Then I saved a lot of money
and my personal money and put it in my film,
The Colonizer, and that was my first feature film is
(07:57):
about an hour and twenty minutes. People can find it
on the colonizerfilm dot com. They can view it on Amazon, Prime,
AppleTV and so many other platforms. And it's a story
about what happened to Palestine in nineteen forty eight. And
I felt like today is more important than ever to
talk about that because there's a lot of confusion and
(08:18):
deception of what Palestine is and who lived there and
where did Christianity come from. So I was like, Okay,
I got to tell the story of what happened to
Palestinians in nineteen forty eight when Palestine was colonized by
people that came on boats claiming that they're oppressed, and
then they oppressed us. And people are catching up to
(08:38):
season seventy five, episode ten of the story, and I'm like,
you got to go to season one, episode one to
understand how we started and what happened to my people
and why are we resisting and fighting back? But that's
what I created the film. It's pretty much a story
of what happened to my grandpa in a way, lost
his house to the colonizers. I just wanted to put
(09:02):
the character as a Christian character because people think Palestine
and they think just Muslim and I'm like, no, Palestine
was Muslims, Christians, and Jews coexisting. And then the new
entity design, the state of Israel was created and they
wanted to be a Jewish state. But how can you
have a Jewish state when you have Muslims and Christians.
That means you have to get rid of them, either
(09:22):
ethnic lensing or killing them. And that's what happened in
nineteen forty eight. It's called the Nekba, right, the catastrophe.
So I was like, I'm gonna make this film with
my own little money, my budget and make it like
a one on one parable, so micro level instead of macro.
Hopefully people can watch it and understand what happened, so
(09:43):
they can learn history related to the Bible, because I
use a lot of scripture in there and kinda look
into it rather than watching CNN and Fox News and
saying I'm a right wing or left wing and just
following that blindly and weaponizing the Bible to justify an
(10:04):
ethnic lensing of a group of people that have been
there for decades and centuries. So I did the film
and it was hard to find distribution. Most people didn't
want to touch the project because of the topic. And
I prayed about it a lot more, and then I
found a distributor who's a Christian distributor, and he's like,
(10:27):
I love the story, this needs to be told. I
want to represent you. And yeah, I sent him all
the stuff he needed, and then I talked to the
other lady and now it's available for rent. And I
don't know how well it's doing. I guess i'll find
out by the end of this year, but I'm not
you know, if I can make what I spent, that
(10:47):
will be great. But I think it's more about the
message and explaining to people what really happened, because nobody's
talking to Palestinians, especially Palestinian Christians. It's like we are
the second thought and they're just listening to the people
in power, the people that control the narrative, because they
(11:08):
control the media, they control the movies, they control the music,
they control everything, and somebody has to be a little
bit smarter than that to be like, well, I'm hearing
one story, one side of the story. Well let me
talk to the people from the other side and hear
their story, because the person in power is going to
tell the story, not the oppressor is going to tell
(11:29):
the story, not the oppressed. But that's a little bit
about my film world and acting world and where it
is right now. I'm still an actor. I still audition,
and I'm very careful about the projects I pick, because
there's a lot of demonic stuff man, out there in Hollywood,
and I would rather do faith based films or independent
(11:50):
films that don't have too much blasphemy or cursing or
you know, stuff that my values don't align with or
my faith.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
You know, absolutely makes sense chosen. I appreciate your transparency
and vulnerability, man, and not just in you taking a
step of faith to make your own film, but it
being so personal to you as well, with your your
family and and your dad and your heritage. So I
(12:21):
appreciate that, man. And there is a lot of misinformation
out there, and one of the things that's been on
my heart lately is how to in all of this,
how do we maintain you know, unity, you know, the
world is going to do what the world is going
to do. But one of one of Christ's final prayers
was for all of us to to be united. And again,
(12:45):
I think sometimes shows the people they think unity means uniformity.
It's like, no, we all have different you know we
you know, we have different ethnicities and God created that,
But where to be united in Him? So one of
the things I wanted to ask you, Josie is there
(13:08):
was a couple of things that came up as you
were giving us a background. Is when I think it
was the woman who said that it's in you. Did
that serve as a turning point for you or as
a reminder because you're like, well, I did this as
a kid, and then you kind of had the midlife crisis,
(13:28):
as you said, and that was that a turning point
for you that God used?
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, for sure, Like I'll share the story so the
audience can know. Which is going to sound crazy, but
that's what happened. So when I had my midlife crisis,
I was living in Atlanta, right, I was living in
East Atlanta, and I always trying to find the one, find
the girl that I'm going to spend hopefully by the
rest of my life with my future wife. Because my
(13:55):
parents were nagging me, They're like, you're not getting younger. Traditionally,
you know, our culture is get married, have kids, right.
So my parents were bothering me. So I was like, okay, okay,
I gotta find a girl, go on dates, meet the
right one. Hopefully we can build a relationship, get engaged
and get married, have kids and happy ever after. Right.
But it didn't work out that way because I start
(14:16):
going on dates and it just was not really happening.
I was not connecting to the right to write female,
and I start getting depressed, and I felt like girls
were taking advantage. Some of them taking advantage of the
dates to get a free meal. Some there was no connection,
some that were not my type. And it just no
(14:37):
matter how I looked at it. I was like, man,
this is exhausting. And then you start thinking that there's
something wrong with you, you know. And I was like, what's
wrong with me?
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Like?
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Am I not good enough? Am I not good looking enough?
Am I not interesting enough? And I'm like, you start
doubting yourself. So one day I ran in the backyard
of my house and I started the sky at God
and I'm like, God, I can't find a woman, I
can't get married. I'm alone in this country. My family
(15:08):
is over peace my people are persecuted. I don't have kids,
I'm getting older, and I just lost my job during
that time with the design world, and I was like,
I don't have a job, Like what is my purpose?
What do you want from me? Why did you create me? God? Why? So,
as I'm yelling top of my lungs, this guy next
door pops his head and he's like, hey, man, are
(15:30):
you okay? I'm like, who the heck are you. He's like,
my name is Jackson. I'm your new neighbor. I just
moved in this morning because I had no neighbor next door.
I was like, oh, hey, Jackson, nice to meet you.
And he's like okay. I'm like, I'm just having a moment.
So I calmed down and I start talking to him
(15:51):
and I was like, so, what do you do Jackson?
So he says, I'm an actor. I was like, oh cool.
He's like you look like an actor about me, and
I'm like, now, I don't know. I did that when
I was young and I'm not trying to move to Hollywood, California.
He's like, no, no, no, no, the industry is booming in Atlanta.
I was like what, I didn't know anything, So I
(16:11):
was like, well, how do I get to it? How
do I get into it? And he's like, well, there's
an acting school five minutes from your home called Drama Inc.
It's like, what, there's an acting school here. He's like, yeah,
well what you need to do is this and that
and go and I'll sign up and take a class.
It's like, you know what, let me go. So I
signed up to take a class. The first class. They
(16:32):
measure your knowledge if you have any experience, so they
know where to place you. And I remember doing the
first I guess call it orientation and it was easy.
And then before I left class, the teacher he was like, hey, hey, hey,
how long you've been doing this? Like ten twelve years.
It's like, it's my first time doing it. It's my
first day in class. He's like, you'd be stupid if
(16:54):
you don't pursue that. So I start taking classes and
it just tracted me. So I think that encounter I had.
You know, when you when you when you encounter God,
you can encounter him in so many different ways, whether
he can speak to you directly or through people, and
sometimes through animals too. So he spoke to me through
(17:17):
Jackson and like you look like an actor, you should
do it like. He's like, I can't guess your ethnic background.
You can pass for so many things. Do you speak
other languages? I was like, yeah, I speak five languages,
and he's like, what, yeah, man, you will be booking
and stuff. You look Hispanic, you look Italian, you look
Middle Eastern, you look all these things. So it's funny
(17:39):
how from that moment yelling at the sky at God,
what's my purpose? And He's like, here's your purpose. And
from that it doesn't stop. You know, some people be
like I found my purpose, but that can be your
launching path to another direction that might not have to
do with with the acting. So from that I went
(18:00):
to filmmaking, and right now I'm broke because I spent
all my money on my feature film. So I'm like, okay, God,
i can't create another future film unless I raise funds.
So I need to raise funds the right way. But
also I'm looking for a daytime job in the ux
Ui world digital design. So right now I'm in another
(18:23):
spot of what's going on, But instead of yelling, I'm
being patient. Mmmm.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
That's good for to the spirit. But one of one
of the one of the ones that we don't like
when we get tested. That's a Galatians Galatians chapter five
for our listeners. Me and Josie we talked about you
as the actor, the filmmaker. You're also a podcaster and
(18:52):
you have your own podcast. What's the podcast about and
what made you start your show?
Speaker 3 (19:02):
I guess I always like to talk to people and
get to know people, and I'm a good listener. I
like to listen to understand, not to respond, and I
like to communicate with people. I'm willing to sit with
someone who has the opposite upbringing and environment from the
(19:22):
one that I had and have a productive conversation with them,
as long as they can act like adults. Right. And
I don't know. I start watching a lot of YouTube,
and I see all these podcasts, especially in the past
two years with the genocide happening in Gaza, and people
are questioning what's really going on, what's the job of
(19:44):
a Christian in such a situation and the confusion of
Israel and Palestine and all that chaos. Right, And I'm like, man,
I don't see any podcaster who's Palestinian, and I don't
see anybody talking about it from the Christian way, because
would Jesus be in the Israeli tank or is Jesus
(20:07):
under the rubble with the Palestinian children? Right, So I'm like,
he's definitely with the Palestinian children. He's not in the
Israeli tank or they're playing dropping bombs at Gaza. So
I'm like, I need to do something here. So I
start getting on people's shows and then they're like, man,
you need to do your own. You need to do
(20:27):
your own. So everybody's like, you need to do your own.
So I prayed about it, and I was like, I
already have space here, which looks like this. I have
a camera, I have everything. I have the laptop, I
can buy the mic and the mini equalizer or whatever
you call it, the amplifier. And I'm like, I know
a lot of people, and I know people locally, and
(20:48):
I know people in the US, and I know people overseas.
So I'm like, you know what, I want to start
talking to people and finding out a lot of stuff
about them, and during the podcast people will find out
things about me. So I was like, all right, I'm
gonna call it the Olive Roots podcast, right, So it's
(21:11):
pretty much all rooted in Christ, right, and the story
of our sacred oil, our sacred our, sacred soil. Because
I come from the Holy Land, right, My family's been
there for generations. My great great great great great grandfather
comes from We did not come from space, we didn't
(21:33):
come from another country. We've been there for generations. And
I experienced firsthand both entities, and I experienced Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Jews, Muslims, Christians,
israelis Palestinians. I experienced all that, and I was like,
(21:56):
nobody is really talking much about it. The only person
who's really talking about it is Pastor Mundera's Hawk, which
he's a pastor from a church in Palestine in Bethlehem,
and he started doing his podcast and I can't wait
to have him online. But he's a fountain of knowledge
and his famili's from generations there, and he's always been
(22:19):
a Christian. So it's not like people say you're Christian,
like when did you convert? And I'm like, I don't know.
Thirty a d. So I decided to start this podcast
talk to people about their identity, so they can talk
about their identity, their faith and faith journey, regardless of
(22:39):
their faith or lack of it because we have to
sit down and talk to people. Man, if we want
to preach the gospel, we have to meet people where
they are, and we have to understand what happened through
their life, what's happening today, what do they believe? What
pushed them away from the faith if they were born
into another religion and faith? How can we be light
(23:02):
in the darkness? How can we be christ Like? And
how can we plant to seed instead of condemned, judge
and belittle, because that's not what Jesus did. So I'm like, Okay,
I'm just gonna talk to people and always try to
plant to seed. And I was like, I let them
talk about their identity, their faith, and resistance because everybody
(23:23):
has an identity, everybody has a story, right, everybody has
a faith journey or lack of it, or back and
forth wrestling with God. Right. And then you have resistance
something they're resisting, whether since childhood or recently did they
conquer it? Are they still resisting it? Temptation, it can
(23:43):
be alcohol, drugs, women, occupation, racism, I mean, whatever it is,
you're resisting something in life. So I was like, let
people everyday people talk about what they're resisting and it
just shows at the end the end of the day
that we're not so different after all. Number one, we're
all humans, we all suffer. Number two, we're all in
(24:07):
our own journey, in our own paths. And number three,
the truth will always comes out and Jesus is the truth,
and he will always pop up in the conversations and
he will always show himself And it doesn't matter if
you think he shows himself in it everything, but he does.
Is just like do you have awareness or are you blinded?
(24:30):
So that's kind of like why I created the podcast,
just to bring Cross to the world and bring the
truth to the world, and share the story of everyday
people with the world to see that just because somebody
is different than you, different skin color, different religion, different ethnicity,
country man, we have so much in common. We have
(24:53):
so much in common, and we're all created in the
image of God and God loves all of us. So
that's kind of like, in short, why I created this podcast.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Wow, that's powerful, Josie sitting down with people, and I
couldn't agree more. I mean, you know, you become a human,
not a data point, right. It's easy to listen to
all these quotes and things being thrown around and the
media and hearing just crazy talk and hate speech. But
(25:28):
I just appreciate you facilitating those types of conversations where
people can just be honest and, like you said, be
a light in the darkness. I'm reminded of the scripture
let your light shine so before men, that they might
see your good works and come and glorify your Father
in heaven. So man, definitely definitely love that you're doing that. Chosy.
(25:52):
I know it's probably a little soon to ask this man,
especially given the amount of work put into the colonizer,
but if you really had to, you know, fast forward
like five years or just some things that God has
put in your heart. What are some other films that
(26:15):
you'd like to explore, both from a actor and from
a filmmaker. I know you said you're very selective on
types of films, So as an actor, what are some
potential themes or types of stories you'd like to take on?
And then from a filmmaker, what's something that you'd like
to make in the future if the opportunity presented itself.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Well as an actor, definitely more faith based films. It
doesn't all have to be biblical times. That's redundant, done
over and over and over, and they never get the
right people or the right accents, so it doesn't really matter,
you know. So I remember the first Biblical films I
(27:00):
watched them, was like, why do they have British accents?
And why are they all British? You know. So I'm like, Okay,
then you watch The Chosen and I'm like that accent
is terrible. Why don't they have people from the region acting?
And I couldn't even get on that show, you know. So,
I don't know, just biblical films with a positive message,
(27:23):
something that brings Christ to the story and try unite
and multiply rather than divide and conquer. That's the difference
between God and the devil. And yeah, that's kind of
like what kind of projects I would like to be on.
Obviously I'm doing. I'm willing to do anything that is,
you know, a bad guy, mafia, drug dealer, that's fine,
(27:48):
as long as there's nothing that goes against my faith, right,
anything wicked, demonic that is against my values. So I'm
willing to play the bad guy. I'm just not gonna cuss,
but I'm still going to be intense Now, as far
as filmmaking, I actually wrote a film which I need
(28:11):
to raise money. It's called Going South, and it's about
a group of college kids, four of them that I
want to go from the north of the country to
the south to go on a camping site and enjoy
a week of camping. So they're going south, and as
they're going south, everything's going south, you know what I mean.
(28:35):
And as they get down there, everything starts getting darker
and darker and evil. And it's pretty much a story
about God and the enemy, right, how God is always
going to pull you out of the enemy's hand, deliver
you from the enemy's hands. And you know, the enemy
is always going to dig a hole and some people
(28:58):
fall in it, but God always is extending a hand, right,
And it's a biblical story but modern day. So you
have Adam and Eve and Jesus and Judas with different names,
but that's the hint. And then they go to this
camping site and they meet Lucifer, Jezabel and so many
(29:20):
other characters from the Bible. And people don't know that
the character is Jesus because I'm making it very unorthodox
who's playing him and how it's played. But the hints
of what happens, then you can relate it to Christ
and how he always wins, right, regardless of what the enemy,
(29:44):
what the devil does. Jesus already put his foot in
his neck, you know, he already won the fight. We're
just catching up to that win, right, because we're still
in this fleshly body, so we can't see the spiritual warfare,
but it's happening, and eventually we'll catch up to him
(30:07):
conquering death and conquering the enemy for the last part
of this life cycle, and then we can be celebrating
in heaven and dancing the night away and working and worshiping. Right.
But that's kind of like the film I wanted to do.
But I started talking on these podcasts and I met
(30:30):
a guy that was interested in funding me for a documentary.
So I want to create a documentary to talk about Zionism,
Christian Zionism, and how Zionism is ruining Christians and that
Zionism is anti Christ because the focus there, instead of
(30:51):
being on Jesus Christ, they're focused on a pot of land, right,
and they're focused on instead of Jesus, they're focused on
the Jews and the design in the state of Israel
instead of focusing on Jesus Christ, because that's what the
devil does. He always wants to take your attention away
from the one that you're supposed to be focused on.
(31:11):
So everything that happens there, they're like, oh, en of times,
prophecies are getting fulfilled. Oh here we go. And I'm like,
focus on Jesus. Put your focus on Jesus. Don't focus
on all that stuff. Pray for that, pray for discernment,
pray for God to reveal to you the truth, but
focus on Christ. It's like, yeah, well, Christ comes from
that land, doesn't matter. There's neither Jew nor gentile. The
(31:31):
New Covenant of Jesus Christ, his blood, the new Covenant.
That's what we're focused on. The way, the truth and
the life. Nobody gets to the Father but through him.
If you deny the Son, then you deny the Father.
Focus on him. Focus on him. And I realized that
there's a lot of confusion in today's world with everything
going on back home, and the church is divided in
(31:51):
the US and in the Western world. So I want
to do documentary and talk to different people from around
the world, pastors and none pasts, Christians, and non Christians
about what's happening there Biblically what it says, how was
this spensationalism and the Schofield Bible brought to America in
the eighteen hundreds and tainted Christianity and turned it to
(32:14):
something that is not supposed to be and made everybody
focus on a pot of land instead of a christ
because his kingdom is not of this world. His kingdom
is up there and that's where we're heading. This is
not our destination. So everything that we're doing on this earth,
we're building all these castles, but all these castles are
(32:35):
going to be demolished because God is building the ultimate
castle on top and nothing we do here will mean
anything if it wasn't for the ultimate sacrifice of the
Son of God. So I wanted to create a documentary
to talk to pastors and maybe some political figures, because
(32:55):
you can see with politics were Christian nationalism taking place.
And I'm like, following Christ has nothing to do with
your nationality. Heaven is going to look like this, right,
different ethnicities, different backgrounds, different skin colors, different languages. That's
(33:15):
how Heaven is gonna look. But we're so focused on
our differences and these people's bloodline and this people's DNA
and these people's location. I'm like, that doesn't matter. That
doesn't mean anything today to God. What it means is like,
are you a believer? Do you follow him? Are you
doing his commandments? Are you loving others like He loves you?
Are you being a peacemaker instead of a troublemaker? So
(33:38):
that's kind of like what the documentary is going to be.
It's kind of more led towards bringing the truth. But
instead of just talking to pastors, I want to bring
people that might not be of the faith and see
what they have to say about what's happening there. Because
it doesn't take it doesn't take you to be a
Christian to know what's happening. AUNTI God. All you have
(34:01):
to be is a human being and see that when
there's people suffering, getting massacred and killed, that's UNTI God,
because that's not what God wants. That's not how you
spread the gospel, you know what I mean? They said
that America was built on Christian values. America was built
on ethnic lensing of Native Americans and enslavement of Africans.
(34:23):
How is that Christian? Maybe a few people that came
here had the intent of Christian beliefs. But the story
that we see actions speak louder than words, and we
see what happened the history of America. It's two hundred
and fifty years old today and it has not been
so christ like. There has been a lot of turmoil,
(34:44):
a lot of wars, a lot of racism, a lot
of discrimination, a lot of killing. I don't think that
has anything to do with Christ. I think that's the
total opposite. Plus, America is not in the Bible, or
if it is, maybe it's Babylon. Who knows, But I
just believe that. I think a documentary here to talk
to these people, to bring awareness about what's happening in
(35:07):
America and who's controlling everything here is very important because
there's a lot of confusion, deception, and I think people
just need to listen to each other, sit down like
this and talk about it. And even if you want
to bring the Scripture into it, you can read scripture
out of context. And everything in the Old Testament is
(35:28):
fulfilled in Jesus Christ and it all leads to him.
So if you want to look at the Old Testament,
you got to look at it in the You got
to put the Jesus Christ glasses and look at it
and be like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Everything leads
to him. But people like to go back to the
Old Testament and fight Old Testament wars and try to
(35:49):
confuse everybody. I'm like, I'm a New Covenant, New Testament Christian.
I follow Jesus Christ and he is the god of
the Old Testament, but he's revealed in the flesh in
the New Testament, and he's very clear about who he
is and it's very clear what he wants us to do.
So if you are going against that and you don't
believe he's the one, then you're an Antichrist. It's either
(36:10):
you're in Christ or you're in Antichrist. And our job
is to go to those people that are Antichrist or
not in Christ and tell them about Jesus Christ and
how much he loves them, and they I can't save you.
I can just plant the seed and maybe somebody else
is gonna water it, maybe I'm gonna water it, maybe
(36:30):
it's gonna die out. But if you plant seeds, that
you've done your job and doesn't mean you sit down
and you're like, well I'm saved. Who cares now you know,
you know, faith is also action. You have to you
have to if you love Christ, you will do what
he wants you to do.
