Speaker 2 (01:54):
Thanks Fred.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
We're glad you came joined us tonight, and I am
super excited about what you're bringing to the table here.
I love the show far thing, and I'm just excited
about what you have said about it. I'm interested in
it a lot. Ever since I showed you earlier that
I got a little horn that I that I made
out of a seashell and brought it back from the Philippines,
(02:19):
And ever since I did that, I wanted to show
for I'm interested in learning. I don't know if I
have no wind to blow it. It looks like it
looks like it's difficult.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
It takes a lot of wind. Yeah yeah, right, yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Well, I'm excited about hearing about it. You know, I
want to just kind of give you an opportunity to
who you give. You have a ministry, so tell us
the name of your ministry and maybe have people get
ahold of you or whatever.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Well, actually we don't have actual actual ministry. We just
we just do what open. The doors are open and
we walk through. That's kind of what we do. And uh,
but we're we're just we're just country people. We live
at free ownA, Texas and uh, I'm in the cattle business.
It's just we're just some self employed. It's a little small,
(03:12):
little operation but stays busy. We've got some cows and
we run garlands on wheat and whatnot and have a
little feed yard and raised six kids and now we
have fourteen and a half grandkids and and five son
in laws and so you know, we've got a lot
going on. And yeah, and uh so.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
That's sounded like a good old heart of heart of America. Guys.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Well, we're just about as country as they kind of.
I guess that's right exactly.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
We all got to come from somewhere. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. Well,
how in the world did you get started out with
blowing a horn?
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I mean literal horn?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Right. Well, it's kind of a it's kind of an
interesting story in it and it and I always thought, well,
it didn't make a hill of beans about this, about
the how it began. But it after I've come to
know all this, it does. Uh. I'm in the like
I said, I'm in the cattle business. And uh. And
(04:18):
I had a little cow one time that uh it's
it's been all four or five years ago now and uh,
she was having trouble Kevin, and so I put her
in my squeeze shoot. And she had little short horns
and and she's kind of thrashed her around a little
bit and she broke the cap of her of her
horn off and uh, and it just and this is
(04:43):
it and that's that's. So it laid by my squeeze
shot for a year and I kept kicking it out
of the way, and I kept hearing pick it up
and I and I would, I'd pick it up and
throw it in the trash, and the next thing I know,
it would be after and in the dirt again. And
it was about a year, I guess, and I finally
(05:05):
picked it up. I just kept hearing this thing, pick
it up, pick it up. And so I picked it
up and it was full of minerve dirt and whatnot.
And so I cleaned it all up, and I got
it to the barn and buffed it off, and I
got my chops on this, chopped the chopped the end
of it off, and got a little hand drilled that
I had, and this drilled a hole in it. And
I don't even know why I did that. Actually, I
(05:25):
didn't know anything, but I just and I said, I
wonder what it sounded like. And so I put it
up to my mouth, and that's what it sounded like.
Is it didn't say it sounded like a dying goose
or something. And so but I had an old trumpet
that from from Junuary fifty years ago, Oh my god,
and so I had the mouthpiece, and so I put
(05:47):
it in there. Sure enough, it fit perfectly. And so
I said, well, I wonder what that sounds like. So
it became I didn't know anything about the show far
other than the two stories in the Bible give In
and Joshua, you know about Jericho, And so I just
(06:09):
kind of like, well, this is my little show far
And so I put it in my guitar case or
in my best pocket, and I carried it everywhere we went.
I just I don't know anytime we needed to blow
the show far, well, I had a little a little
one and uh, and so that's that's how I started.
And so we went. We're involved in a ministry called
(06:32):
David's Tent in Washington, d C. And it's patterned after
King David's Tabernacle that he built a tent when the
Arc of the Covenant came into the city, and he
built a tent over it and he hired four thousand musicians,
two hundred and eighty eight singers, and they ministered unto
(06:55):
the Lord for thirty three and a half years, day
and night. And so this ministry in Washington, d C.
Patterned their tent after David about uh, inviting and inhabiting
the presence and praise of God. And it's so it
(07:18):
started on September eleventh of twenty fifteen. So it's been
going almost ten years now.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Now this is this is that on all.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
This is this is between the Capital and the Washington
Monument right there on the right there on the on
the mall. And it has moved a few times, but
right now it's next to the lighthouse, which is a
perfect place.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
And uh, but it's it's it's day and night it's
and never, not one minute does it stop. And so
it was pretty taxing for them to go day and
night twenty four seven, three sixty five. And so they
let each state take a week, and so each state
(08:01):
that was that's fifty weeks and they're in charge of
the worship for for a week. And uh I heard
about it, and just we were we were in the
we've been in the worship ministry for thirty years or something,
and I justid, well, I know they wouldn't let us
do it, but I just said one of what you
could do, and uh so I I put a email
(08:24):
out and sure enough they said, come on Texas week,
it's such and such, and so, uh my wife and
I went just on our own and and uh so
we spent four or five days and washing in d
C right there on the mall, just leading worship. And
it's and it's ministering under the Lord. It's really not
(08:46):
leading masses of people. It's just ministering vertically. And uh
but when you do that, you know it does go.
Uh it does go horizontally.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
And so by the way, your wife's name is wrong, right,
that's why listening then that's what she is.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
That's that's she's my better Yeah, for sure, absolutely, So
that's that's the And so anyway, I took this little
this little show for this little horn to d C
with me, uh three years ago and uh, just and
I blow it and uh we met a lady in
(09:27):
in in the tent in David's tent and uh and
her husband is an attorney there in Washington, d C.
And and she saw this and you know, I guess
it's probably my Texas accent. I had had a cowboy
hat on and uh, and you know it's kind of
like a kind of fitting. Yeah, And so she she
was just the oh, I don't know, the anomaly of
(09:50):
a cow's horn from a guy, a Texas rancher, you know,
she thought it was kind of cool. And so anyway,
she saw it and I told her the story about it,
and she said, would you go with me to Trump
Towers and blow it over our nation and our city?
And we couldn't we were fixed to catch a plane.
(10:11):
But she was just just really enamored by it. And
so we got her number in or my wife and
her text back and forth for the year. But the
next year we went, which was in twenty three twenty four.
We were there back at the tent and she showed
(10:32):
up and she said, what when are y'all going to
be there? And she had something wrapped up in this
big white We didn't know what it was. And she said,
before I even say hello, I got a story to
tell you. She said, on October the seventh of twenty three,
when Hamas attacked Israel on the Goddess Trip, there was
(10:54):
a young man that was a show far maker from
Jerusalem and had instructed him to make tubes to these
show fars and time on his back and run into
the midst of the Hummas line. And so uh, that's
exactly what he did. And and uh and apparently this
(11:17):
is this was in the like the middle of October
to start the fighting started in October seventh and about
seventeenth or sixteenth or somewhere in that neighborhood. He ran
into the middle, and he ran right into the midst
of the Hamas line and came out unscathed. Wow. And
the Lord told him to send these two show fars
(11:40):
to America. And I don't know really why, but that's
what the Lord instructed him to do. And one of
them ended up in Paul Wilber Ministries, who is a
Messianic Jew or his ministry is about Messianic Jew. He's
a musician and and he's out of Jacksonville, Florida. Well,
(12:03):
she happens to be on his board of directors. And
we don't know how she got this show far, but
it ended up they sent it to Washington, d C.
What better place for the the sh far that had
been through the actual battle, I mean and into the
battle b right there in Washington, d C. To blow,
(12:24):
you know, every time the s far was blown, the
scripture victory happened. And so what better place right there
in Washington, d C. And when she got it, she
looked at it and she said, this doesn't stay in Washington,
d C.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
She's it is.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
And this is it and she said, this goes to Texas.
And she she handed it to me and I'm and
this was my response, that was it? I mean, I
was just featless. I didn't because I had never blown
a real one. I'd blown one with a mouthpiece and
and want you know, but this one was It's gorgeous
(13:07):
and this was a real so far and uh so,
and she said, the Lord told you that you're gonna
use it for his glory, and that you're gonna use it.
It's not gonna set on some mantle of your fireplace.
And so this is what I got when I went
to Israel.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
But and you've been saying that it's been opening doors
for you, and so there's there's an annoying thing behind it.
Just just that has been good doors you.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
And sometimes the so far itself even tells the story. Yeah,
I mean, not just the story that I tell about it,
even though it is kind of an incredible how it
came from the gods a strip in the in the battle,
how it ended up in Free on the Texas at
a little old cattle rancher that you know. And I'm like,
I still ask the Lord Lord why you know, and
(13:57):
and things like God to me, Well it got it does, Yeah,
it really does. And I my son, he said, he said, Dad,
you know the Texas panhanl You know what text line,
it's nine hundred miles to Brownsville and it's nine hundred
miles to Canada. So the Texas Panhandle is, you know,
(14:19):
right in the middle of America and then you look
east and west, it's thirteen hundred miles as the crow
flies to the west coast, thirteen hundred miles to the
east coast. So we are right this area, right here
in the center of the panhandle of the panel of Texas.
And even this, this whole area within two hundred miles
(14:41):
of this area is the center of America. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Yeah, it was right through free own them.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Yeah, it's exactly. And so that's I said, well, that
may be one of the reasons we got it, you know,
to blow over our nation. And so, you know, I
never had really looked at any I mean, I knew
the scripture about Joshua and get in how they broke
the pots and three hundred of them blew the show
far and the enemy killed themselves, so they didn't even
(15:11):
have to turn a lick. And you know, so that's
and then when they blew it and the walls fell
at Jericho, and uh so every time that it was blown.
But that's only two places in the scripture that I
really knew about or had that it rested with me.
So I started, you know, just I mean, you just
(15:33):
do a word search of so far or trumpet, which
is so far is the Hebrew word for the word
trumpet in English. So there's so much there's so much
stuff in the scripture. And so I've got a friend
that's a that's a Orthodox Jewish rabbi, and I was asking.
(15:56):
I told him about it, and he, in fact, he
he kind of made fun of me. He said, he said, man,
that that's not that's not a show fell. He said,
in fact, to a Jew, a cow's horn is an
abomination because it reminds us of the golden cap. But
then he looked at me and he said, but you
know what, you're a gentile, and you got more freedom
(16:16):
than I do. He said, go ahead and blow that thing. Anyway.
He kind of gave me the green light to blow it.
And but then when we got the show far, and
one thing he did tell me, he said, the show
far to the Jewish people is the voice of God.
And I asked him, I said, now, now, where do
(16:38):
you get that in the Torah? You know? And and
he said, well, and it's Exodus nineteen that that scripture,
the Exodus nineteen when the Jewish people were gathered at
Mount Sinai and Moses was had gathered him up, and
(16:58):
he hadn't gone up on the on the mountain yet
to get the ten Commandamus. But in nineteen this is
Exodus nineteen sixteen. It says, then it came to pass
on the third day in the morning, that there were
thunderings and lightnings in the thick cloud of the mountain,
and the sound of the show far was very loud,
(17:20):
so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.
And Moses brought the people out of the camp to
meet with God, and they stood at the foot of
the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke because
the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended
like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain
quite greatly. And when the blast of the show far,
(17:42):
You've got to remember, so far is the Hebrew word
for the trumpet. Trumpet is the is the English word.
When the sho far sounded long and became louder and louder,
I lost my place. Oh that Moses spoke, and God
answered him by voice, and that's when he said, Moses,
(18:07):
come up here. So that's where the Jewish people said
they heard that, because you see, on the top of
the mountain, Moses wasn't up there. There was no one
up there except God himself. That's what Exodus nineteen eighteen
says that he was. He had descended to the mountain,
(18:27):
and the sound of the shouf fear got louder and louder,
and it was God himself blowing the show far. And
then it became the voice that said, Moses, come up here.
So they from then on they have they call it
the voice of the show far. Not the sound of
the show far, it's the voice of so far. And
so that's that's that was one of the one of
(18:49):
the very significant things about And you know, every time
every time God does something, he uses something the physical
also to do too. And so, uh, you know this
is when when I blow this, I'm gonna blow it here.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
In a minute.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
And it's it's not the actual voice of God, I'll
just tell you that, but but it's but it's just
like communion is the bread that we take actually the
body of Jesus and the and the and the Jews. No,
it's not, but it and it represents it and it
makes us remember and it still does something to us,
(19:27):
you know, just like baptism in salvation, just like circumcision
and covenants. It's God always used something in the physical
to remind his people. Uh, and so that's what this is.
And uh, but there is it does have to have
a frequency, uh that goes into the heavenlies. And uh,
(19:52):
you know, Paul said, our struggle is not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities and powers that are entrowned
in high places. And this, the sound of this so
far goes into the high places. Yes, and so and
so you know I knew that, but I said, Lord,
I want to hear it. I want to give me,
(20:13):
give me in the word. And so I was.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Just I was just thinking about can you imagine what
three hundred of these.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Things like, yeah, exactly, you know, I mean when Gideon exactly, Yeah,
three hundred of them. Yeah, wow, yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
You talked about.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
I think that's one of my goals is to get
three hundred of these together and to blow them. And
uh they come in.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Every shy of shape, and some of them are small
as that.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Little they are. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Yeah, But what's the significance of the link of Well,
it does make a difference.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
It does. The pitch, the pitch and the the sound
of it is. The bigger it is, the deeper it is,
the smaller it is, the the high higher and the
and the more, you know, the the frequency, it's a
different frequency that goes. Yeah. So that's uh. This one
is uh. And we found out that this one is
(21:11):
the actual key of F. And when when we when
we do it and play it in in our worship set,
we we play songs in F sometimes and I'll play
this as and you know, psalms, Psalms one fifty says
sing to the Lord with with your guitar, with the harp,
(21:33):
and and and with the sound of the show far yeah,
and so we we just we just do what he
says and and and do that. So that's that's kind
of the story about how we got it and uh,
and a little bit about the show.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Yeah, it's massive. You know. I'm impressed with the length,
I mean, the size of the thing, you know, but
more impressed with what comes out of it whenever, whenever
somebody blows it. I've been around two or three of
them like this, and I haven't Actually, you're one that
(22:13):
blew the best that I've I've heard of a lot
a lot of it takes a lot of volume, would.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
It kind of does?
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Right?
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Yeah? And I think my wife says, hot air takes
a lot of a lot of hot air. Well, yeah, yeah,
so we probably qualify, we do we qualify. You know,
one thing that there's so much in the scripture and
in the Jewish tradition that Westerners we don't get really
(22:42):
and you know, being being considered the voice. You know,
I did some study through some some Messianic Jews rabbis
that all the shepherds had a little s far, a
little one and they would blow their show far and
(23:06):
together their sheep and the and the sheep would know
which which sound it was, and they would you know,
it's just like uh, and it was a little show
far that they would carry just with them, and when
they needed to gather them up, they'd blow it and
here the sheep would come. And you remember when Jesus said,
he said, I'm the good shepherd, and my sheep hear
(23:28):
my voice. Because see they they called this the voice
of the shepherd. So when Jesus said I am the
good shepherd, and the and the sheep hear my voice,
the Jewish people knew exactly what the what he was
talking about. He was talking about the sound of the
so far, and he said, they hear my voice, and
they follow me, and so you know that that's one
(23:51):
thing that it makes me want to blow the so
far more that because I mean it just does something
in the in the spiritual realm, and so that's uh,
that's that's one of the things that this is one of.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
The things that cattle man, you know, that you can
call and they come to a voice the sound to
pick up. Yeah, you know, they come to what they're
familiar with, and they trust exactly. And uh, you know,
the sheep are no different. I'm never raised sheep, but yeah,
uh you know, they're they're gonna got to be a
(24:26):
little bit similar as far as I love that verse
that you quoted there about about you know they know
my voice voice.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Yeah, and that's so yeah, and that's what the Jews
say that the sound of this is the voice and
so uh yeah. So anyway, now imagine that there's those
those little small horns they either had a little bit different.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Frequency between oh yeah, you might have even separated.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Yeah, absolutely, yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Because they sometimes would pasture together with.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Other frud and and come down to the same water
and hold.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
It's one of those voices to go, yeah, that's all
that's true.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
There's a whole sermon in that Yeah, yeah, so yeah,
for sure, you know, And.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
I'm gonna turn you loose point camera at you, and
I just want you to do whatever you want to
do here because I know you've got a word to
go along with this and you want to blow that thing.
So point I'm gonna I'm gonna leave you a little
a little wall quick button in.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
I'm bad about that's all. You're good. Yeah, you know.
One of the things that I didn't I never did
dream of a show fear ministry. I didn't and there
was no such thing and there and there's still no
such thing. I didn't but I never thought about until
this lady had given me this. She said, I know
you're going to use this for God's glory, yes, and
(25:45):
so I'm uh, I said, well, I really don't know
what that means. And so the very first time I
shared it was that passover in uh in twenty four wow.
And so we had done a passover meal at at
at at church and Muleshoe and I and I and
(26:07):
I had been studying about the show fear and I said,
you know every time that the show far was blown,
victory happened every time, and you know, uh, and just
on a on a silent line note, I I was
I was wondering about I was wondering about all this,
and and uh, you know, when King David was an
(26:31):
old man, when he was about to die at a Nija,
his he had he had a son Absalom, and then
he had a son at an Aijah, and then he
had a son Solomon, and actually Absolin was the one
that was basically in Jewish tradition to take over the
kingdom when he died. But Ada Nija died and then
(26:53):
uh Absalom died. But at a Nija he had in
his mind that since he was the oldest son, he
was going to be king, become king. And but but
the Lord had already told David that Solomon was going
to be king after him. But Adam and I just said,
I'm gonna be king. And he got he had a
(27:14):
bunch of guys together and they all and David was
about to about to die, and he said, I'm going
to declare myself king. And so they went and they
had this big coronation party and they were proclaiming ad
in Aja he's the king. And David heard about it,
and he said he told his high priest, and his
(27:37):
high priest was named Zadak, and he said, Zadik, go
get my chauffear, go get my mule, and put Solomon
on it. And they went out into the street, and
Zadok blew the show far and proclaimed Alomon is king.
(28:01):
And the pe and and Ada and I just buddies
that were already celebrating his victory. They heard the sound
of the so far and their heart The Bible says
that their hearts fell and they dispersed, and they never
that was it. They left and it was just like
every time the so far is blown, the enemy has
(28:25):
to flee. I mean, they they know that they are defeated.
And you know, you think about you think about Jesus
when he said, muh when he comes back, what's what,
what's the thing we're gonna hear. It's we're gonna hear
the sound of the trumpet. And that's what That's what
the scripture says. And what is that going to do.
(28:46):
It's going to cause the demons to flee because they
know it's that's it. They're they're done. And so every
time the show the show far is blown, it it
scares the demons. But because they believe that when they
hear it one time, the big time, they're done. And
(29:07):
you know, you remember when Jesus cast them the demons
out of the the man and they said, send us
to the pigs. We don't want to go back to Hell.
We want to we would rather go to the pigs.
So see, the demons don't even want to go to hell.
And so every time that you every time the show
(29:28):
far is blown, it does something in the heavens because
I quo Ago Paul said, our Prince, it's not against
principalities and powers but are but against principalities enthroned in
high places. It's not against pleash and blood, but principalities
in throne in high places. And so that's uh, it's
it's a it's a weapon. It's a weapon of warfare,
(29:53):
and and and victory always happens when you blow it.
So I you know, every time, and if you're in
a battle, that's what I. Uh, the first time I
was even told the story that I've just told, uh
Fred and here, the first time I told it was
that passover, and I just said, you know, if you're
going through a battle, I mean like if you're going
(30:14):
through a real battle. I'm gonna blow the show far
on your behalf, and I believe that victory is gonna happen.
I just believe it. And uh and really I don't
really know exactly why I said that, but I said it.
And so when I got ready to blow it, there
was a there was a lady in the back of
(30:36):
the church and I and I blow it, and I
knew it was for her. I mean I knew without
a shadow of doubt that it was for her. And
so when I got through, well, she came up to
me and she said that was for me once I said, yeah,
it was, and I didn't know anything about her, and
uh so and and that was that was it. And
(30:58):
so the next day I get a phone call as
a number I didn't know, but I answered it and
it was this lady and she said when I left
the church, she said, I had a son that's been
estranged for nine or ten months that we have not spoken.
But when I got in my car, my phone rang
and it was him and he said, Mom, what just
(31:20):
happened to you? I felt something? And he lives in
Albuquerque and this was in we were in Muleshew, and
what just happened to you something. I just felt something like,
I mean, he was afraid that there might have been something,
you know, I don't know. Well, they reconciled. I mean
through the blast of the show far it stirred something,
(31:43):
you know, five hundred miles away. And so that was
the first time that I knew that, Okay, there's something
to this. I've got a neighbor that's in my he's
in my man's Bible study and he had torn his
shoulder up in a motorcycle wreck about a couple of
(32:04):
years ago and had surgery, and well, uh, one day
he came to our Bible study and his old arm
was just he couldn't even move it. And he said,
I said, man, what happened to you? He saw I
tore his shoulder up again. And it's like, oh, I said,
did you sleep? He's no, I ain't slept in two days.
It's terrible. And so we got around him and we
(32:24):
prayed and and I, you know, I it was that
was about it, and so I went. I left, I
left Bible study and we went. I went up and
I was checking cals. I was driving my pickup through
some cows, and the Lord said Revelation one ten, Revelation
(32:45):
one ten, and I'm like, what is that? And so
I opened it up and it said, Revelation one ten says,
and this is John. This is the the apostle, John,
the disciple that knew the voice of Jesus. And he said,
it was on the Lord's Day and I was in
(33:07):
the spirit, and I heard from behind me a voice,
a loud voice from behind me, as of a so far.
Your your Bible might say trumpet, but you got to
remember the word trumpet in Hebrew is so far. And
if you look at the Jewish Orthodox Bible, which has
(33:29):
got the New Testament, and it also it does say
so far. And what Jesus said is I am the Alpha.
I'm the omega, the beginning in the end. So there's two.
So I call my friend and I said, I said,
where are you at? And he said, well, I'm at home.
I'm no good. I said, well, look at Revelation one ten,
(33:52):
and I'm coming over and I'm gonna blow this show
far behind you from behind you, just like what happened
to John. And so I drove over. He lives ten
miles out in the country, and and uh, so he
came out, and I said, are you what do you think?
And he said, I'm game, And so I said, you
know it says alpha and oh, maybe that's just two things.
(34:15):
You gotta believe that he's the beginning in the end,
and how many things are there in between there is?
Is he your savior? Yes? Is he your provider yes?
Is he your healer? Yes? And so I said, then
then then I'm just I'm just gonna do just I don't.
I said, I'm goofy enough to just believe what the
(34:36):
scripture says. I'm gonna get behind you and I'm gonna
blow this so far. And so I got behind him,
and he said, if it's all right, I'm gonna get
on my knees and I said absolutely. So I got
behind him and said I blew, and I blew and
I blew, and then I said I ran and had
a gas. I was just like about. I said wow,
and he said keep going and lo and behold. His
(34:58):
arm came up and he did like this, and he
put it around and he put it behind him and
he put it in front of him and this this
has happened like this, And the door of his house
busted open, and his wife and his little daughter had
come running out there and he picked them up and
they were we were all crying. It's happened in about
a minute. And uh, and so it's I'm like, you know,
(35:22):
his little girl, she said, Mama, Jim's blowing the show
far over, Daddy, we better go look. So they got
in the they looked out the kitchen window and were
praying that, you know, for the for whatever whatever. And
and really I didn't even know. I wasn't praying for healing.
(35:43):
I just I just doing what the Lord said to do,
just blow the so far and let him do whatever
it is. I didn't know what he was going to do.
I didn't. I had no idea that he was going
to be healed. I did. I guess it never crossed
my mind until he was healed. And uh, his doctor
told him. He asked his doctor, he said, if my
shoulder was tore up like it was two years ago,
(36:04):
he said, what's the chances of it being fixed completely
in about a minute and a half. And that doctor said, well,
there's there's one chance. So he knew that it was
a miraculous uh, a miraculous healing. So you know, that's
just one of many. I didn't. I didn't tell you this.
It's it's kind of kind of interesting. In January of
(36:31):
twenty three, now it's twenty four. January of twenty fourth
was just this last year. Uh. I'm a I'm a
cattle buyer, and I was going to a cow sell
and I heard the lord say something to me. I mean,
real clear, there's a new sound coming. And I said,
(36:51):
a new a new movement, and he said, no, a sound,
and so and then he and then he said, it's
a sound that has echo through the centuries, but we
haven't had ears to hear. Me. I haven't had ears
to hear. There's a new sound coming. It has echoed
through the centuries, but you haven't had ears to hear.
(37:12):
So I stopped my pickup and I wrote the thing
down January fourth, twenty twenty four. And sure enough, And
so I asked some of my prophetic buddies. I said, well,
I mean, is it what do y'all think? I mean,
I don't know, is it? What are we going to hear?
And I got a lot of really good answers and
(37:36):
and but it never was. They were never exactly what
I thought. And so then when we get this we
got this and this this sound the voice of God
in April. So I'd gotten the word in January and
it was fulfilled in April. And so I know this
(37:57):
is the sound that has and it has echoed through
the centuries and uh, I mean for for five thousand years.
This is this is a Koodoo antelope and they come
from South Africa. And I've come to find out that
when the tribes split, the tribe of Simon went to
Africa and they ended up and so the levitical priest
(38:21):
of the priest of the Tribe of Simon, they would
harvest these and they've been sending them to Jerusalem for
five thousand years. And so that's that's the history of
of the show call. Yeah, so that's the that's why
they because this is not a native to Israel, it's
(38:41):
it's South Africa. And I've got some South African friends
that have seen them and go, I know what that is. Yeah,
that's that that's a that's the Koodoo. So yeah, that's
a So anyway, that's the there. I started writing places
and things that have happened, and I've shared too. There
(39:06):
was yeah, there there's just so many stories that that
testimonies of people getting their families reconciled and and healings
and and getting getting rid of anxiety and all kinds
of stuff that that God, God, he's in the business
(39:28):
of that. And so that's that's kind of the ministry.
We've we have gone all over within well I kind
of drew a map before we've blown it. We've been
at Hugoton, Kansas. We've been in East Texas at We've
been in North Texas. We've been in uh, central Texas.
(39:53):
We've been in eastern New Mexico, and even the mountains
of New Mexico. And I'll tell you that the one
one of the most uh uh, the funniest story, I think,
if that's a word, if there's such a thing as
the funny story. Uh. In August of last year, we
it was it was hot, and I was it was
(40:14):
it had been one hundred and five and we were
I was weary. I was getting getting tired of the heat.
And uh, I just led a walk to a mass
and and uh kind of spiritually and physically and mostly spent.
And I said, let's just let's just go to the hills.
And so I I tell I told Ronda, I said,
(40:37):
I'm gonna throw my guitar and my show far and
my fishing pole in the back of my back up.
We're gonna just take off and go somewhere. And so
we ended up in work at Red River in New Mexico,
and uh, and it was about June twenty fifth, August
twenty fifth, and so I thought, well, it'll be quiet
because no school. School has already started, you know, and
(41:00):
it'll be quiet up there. We can just sit by
the river and just you know, I can fish a
little bit and just get cool and whatnot. And but
there was a music festival going on, a country country
music festival, and there was ten thousand people there, and
so there was only one room in the whole town
that we could find, and it was at this hotel
right there by the river. And they had this big
(41:22):
patio it's right man and in a fire pit, and
it was the coolest place, and so I said it
would be a good place to just go hang out. Well, uh,
there had been a lot of alcohol consumed at this
not us, but at the at this music festival. And
when we get to the we get to the fire
(41:45):
pit that night, it's it's they're having a pretty large time.
But there's two chairs by this fire pit going and
they say, oh, come say with us, and so I'm like,
so it's fine. So we sat there and they're telling
the story and laughing and having this the biggest time,
you know, and everybody's got to tell a story. Everybody's
(42:06):
got to tell a story. So everybody told the story.
And so he gets about eleven o'clock and a bunch
of them already gone to bed, and they said, well,
what about you, Jim. You hadn't told a story yet.
And I said, well, I got a story tell you.
And I told him the story, just what I've just
told y'all about the show far and how I got
(42:26):
it and and uh and just just the miraculous of
how we even got it and uh and uh, I said,
you know, and I've blown it over people and we've
seen we've seen healings and miraculous things happen. And this
guy's sitting over across from me. He said, would you
(42:46):
blow the so far over me for me? I said yeah,
right now? He said, right now, I see, I see
my pickup. So I mean I was, I was ten
yards from my pickup. I went over and grabbed it,
and I said, I'm gonna and I told him, I'm
gonna blow it three times. I'm gonna and I told him,
(43:07):
I said I'm gonna blow it three times. One of
them and I told them about it being the voice
of God, and I said, the first one, the first
blow is you're gonna you're gonna recognize that it is
the voice of God. And then the second blow, the
second blast of the show, far will be that you'll
receive whatever God wants you. And then the third blast,
(43:28):
it is going to be for you to respond. And
you know the children of Er children of Israel at Jericho,
they shouted as a response, and so I'm probably gonna
shout so but if you can respond however you want to.
And so I got that thing up and I stood.
I stood up, and we're right there by the mountains
(43:50):
and the rivers right here, and I pointed this thing up,
and this lady said, wait a minute, I think we
all need to stand up. And so these people, there's
six or seven of us that are left around the
fire pit, they all stand up, and so I get
ready to blow it. She said, wait a minute, Jim,
you need to make a decree. Since he said, and
(44:13):
we didn't know this lady at all. And I said, okay,
I decree what Jesus said, that I came to give
you life and life abundant, and that no one would perish,
but everyone would come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ,
and anybody within the sound of this show far, That's
what I decree. And so I picked that thing up
and I pointed it up to the sky and I
(44:35):
blew this thing and I'm blowing it. And when I
get through that third blast, I bring it down. And
everybody's got their hands up like this, everybody around this table,
and I'm telling you, bread, every one of them are sober.
And it just like that. And this guy said, what
just happened to me? I said, what do you mean?
(44:58):
He says, he said, had Well, I've got gout in
this right foot. And he said, when you were blowing it,
he said, I felt something going on the top of
my head and it went all the way through me
and it went out that foot. And he said, I
don't have I don't have any pain anymore. And he said,
what what was that? Because I don't know if these
guys are I don't know anything about them. And I said, well,
(45:22):
I tell you what, that's the spirit of God and
he's got a and he touched you, and he's got
a plan for you. He wants to do something. And
so anyway, we had a little It was kind of
funny and this lady, uh, you know, we were all
this kind of celebrating this the blast of this so far,
(45:43):
and the second floor of the hotel, this door busted
open and this lady come running out of there with
a with a bathrobe and a hair and a towel.
She said, what's going on out here? I said, oh, man,
you know it's too late. I shouldn't have been blowing
this thing aloud. She said, I got out of the
shire and I heard the voice. That's what she said.
I've heard maybe the sound. I heard the sound of
(46:06):
the of a show Far and I've been praying for
this for five years. And so she came down and
it was just so we the next day, that was
on a Saturday night. The next Sunday morning, we rode
the ski left up to the and I took my
show far and my guitar and we we had a
worship service up there with several people up there on
(46:28):
top of the Mountain, and so you know, it's just
been crazy that that he's used used it in different ways.
I've blown I've taken it to the prison, and I've
even I'm a cattle buyer, I took it even I
took it even to the cow cell and I blew
it and they stopped the cow sell and uh, you know,
and then people have been asking me about it, and
(46:49):
I mean, it's been it's just been a tool that like,
you know, like who would ever thought that this might
be an evangelistic tool? But it but it had been
in it and it's been a it's been a ministry tool.
And who would ever who would ever thought it? I mean,
who would ever think? And especially from I mean maybe
somebody that had a Jewish history or that was maybe
(47:13):
knew all the you know, it's just an old country
boy from Farmer County, Texas and and here he is
has got this this horn, and it's like so I'm
just telling you that it's not who you are. It's
not and it's it's you don't have to have these
(47:34):
credentials or in fact, you know, he probably does better
with with just common folks. That's who he used, you know,
that's who the disciples were.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
And uh, you know, Jim, one of the things when
you're talking about the voice of God, okay, well, the
voice of God, if you look it up in the Greek,
there's part of really basically you can face back to
is what is what He also addresses to the fullness
(48:07):
of his ministry, so means complete everything that God has
all of it. So he has healing, he has virtue,
he has you know, he has he has you know, provision,
he has his joy, he has I mean, the whole,
(48:28):
the whole nine yards is in his voice. Yes, and
he chooses to use us as the voice of God
because and so when you blow through that thing, you're
blowing through an instrument that created by him, and you're
created by him. And so it's the voice of God
going through that instrument. While you know, we should expect healing,
(48:54):
we should expect prosperity, we should expect all the goodness
of God, because it said he tells us go and
talk about the good goodness, and and that is his
voice is proclaiming who he is. And so that's that's
where the power is coming from. It's not you know,
(49:14):
it's it's God ordained and it's God blown and it's
all coming from His creation crying out. You know, he said,
at one point in time.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
These rocks will proclaiming if you don't.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
And so I really believe, you know, prophetically, I'm just
going to speak over you saying, you know, this is
an instrument that He has given you to pronounce sozo
over the people of God arounds and to bring an
occasion of worship, to bring an occasion of praise, to
(49:51):
bring an occasion of healing, to bring occasion of everything
that He has in exchange for listening to that sound
that here of his voice. So I just speak that
over poetically tonight and and decreed that that this this
horn will take you even farther than you begin begin live.
(50:14):
So then I'm sure my audiences, well, you.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
Know there's a that what you just said, the Lord had.
I don't know what I did with that. Maybe i'll
put it right here. Yeah, here it is.
Speaker 3 (50:40):
The mhm.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
The so far has a different frequency. It's it's a
frequency that what you said, just want to go it
is man made, it is God made. It's it's this
is this instrument is made by God, and so it's
got a frequency that goes into into the realm. But
there's and you said you might be sitting there saying, oh, man,
(51:08):
I wished I had a show far, or man I
need to go get a show far. But what did
what did? What does the scripture say? It says power
of death and life are in the power in the tongue.
So we have that same frequency because we can speak,
you know, speak it as though it were, you know,
(51:29):
as though it was. If it's not as though it
was you know. And uh so our voice is the
same thing, our voice just because just what you know,
that just reminded me of of we are made in
the image of God. And you know that that Revelation
one ten, there's there's two things you got to remember
(51:50):
that You've got to believe that he's the Alpha and
the omega. And and you know, you started, you started
quoting things that that the Lord given me. I said, Lord,
I said, give me forty that you are just forty
that's all, and not just alpha and omega, but but
all the things in between. And so this is what
he told me, he said, For he is the creator,
(52:11):
he's the sacrificial lamb in the garden. He's the arc
that saved mankind. He's the passover Lamb. He's the burning Bush.
He's the deliverer from slavery. He's the voice of the
chou far on Mount Sina. He is the Law. He's
the provider in the wilderness. He's our kinsman, redeemer. He's
the conquering King. He's the fourth man in the fire.
(52:35):
He's the giant Slayer. He's the peace beside still waters.
He's the breath that makes dry bones come alive. He's
the Word made flesh. He's the Wonderful counselor Mighty God,
Everlasting Father. He's the Prince of Peace. He's the Great Teacher.
He's the Great Healer. He's the Messiah. He's the Way,
the Truth, the Life. No one comes to the Father
(52:55):
except through him. He's the Son of God. He's the
Lamb of God. He's the final sacrifice for our sins.
He's the Savior of the world. He's the Light of
the world. He's the Great High Priest. He's the veil Terror.
He's the risen Savior. He's the rushing mighty Wind. He's
our advocate. He's the reigning King. He's the King of Kings.
He's the Lord of Lords, and he's in the sound
(53:16):
of the show far and so so much more, and
so tonight, I just if it's all right with Fred,
I think I want to blow the show far. And
you know, the thing that I said from the very
beginning is if there is if you're in a battle,
if you're going through any kind of battle, I don't
(53:37):
know even I don't know what it is. It could
be spiritual or physical, or financial, or family or or whatever.
But uh, if you're in a battle, God wants you
to have victory. And so I'm gonna I'm gonna blow
the show far on your behalf. And if if this
applies to you, you receive it, and what I'm gonna do,
(53:59):
I'm gonna blow it one. There'll be three blasts, and
to recognize, just like what I said, I want to
go to recognize that this is the voice of God,
that it does represent the voice of God. The second
one is to receive, just receive it, just just like
you receive salvation by faith. You receive it. And then
the third is to respond. And so you know, and
(54:24):
if that very first one, if you if that other
are needs to be repentance. As I blow that's it's
that's called a Chavarim blast and it is a call
to repentance. And if that's you, then then take that
at the first blast to repent and then receive and
then respond. And so if it's all right, I'm gonna,
(54:47):
I think I'm gonna just blow it and just over
all of us. I mean I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I
might even be a little bit selfish. I might do
it for myself too and my and my family. So
but this is for all everybody that's this around. Hallelujah, Iselujah, Amen, Amen, Yes, Glory, God, Glory,
(55:33):
thank you.
Speaker 1 (55:34):
J Amen's awesome, thank you. But you know you make
more music than that. And you brought your guitar.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
With well, you know, I'll tell you this. I'm sixty
seven years old and I started. I started playing the
guitar when I was fifty three years old. I never
had I never had I had the guitar. But the
Lord had always given us a worship ministry. But uh,
(56:05):
I never had played the guitar. But the Lord has
given me songs and to worship him, mostly just songs
to him. And they've been we've used them some, but
mostly mostly just to him. But if there's this is
(56:27):
this is the This is what I want to say
too to everybody tonight. You know, it doesn't matter who
you are, or your status, or your economic status, or
your race, or your gender, or or how how insignificant
(56:50):
you think, because there's probably not anybody as insignificant is
is me? Really as far as uh I don't have
any notoriety, you know. Uh. Fred asked me if I
had a website, and I said, no, I can, I've
got no don't. But but I just want you to
know that, just think about the disciples.
Speaker 3 (57:16):
Jesus always chose.
Speaker 2 (57:19):
The weakest men.
Speaker 3 (57:22):
Beggars, thieves and harlets were his friends, and most of
them stayed with him to the end. Oh Jesus always
chose the weakest man, I said, Lord, why have I.
Speaker 2 (57:43):
Received these blessings.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
I've stumbled and I'm falling all the time. And I
remember davevid Absheba, and it seems like he is always
like my kind. Because Jesus always chose.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
The weakest man.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Beggars, thieves and hardlets were his friends, and most of
them stayed with him to the hand. Oh Jesus always
chose the weakest man. Sometimes I am ashamed of what
(58:33):
I'm doing, but he is always there to hold I hand.
He seems to understand the weak man's doings, the lime weak.
Somehow he understands. Jesus always chose the weakest man. Beggars, thieves,
(59:02):
and harlots were his friends, and most of them stayed
with them to the Oh. Jesus always shows the weakest man.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
You know, if you ever think that God can't use you,
just remember that. You know. Noah was a drunk. Abraham
he was too old. Isaac he was a daydreamer. Jacob
he was a liar. Leah she was ugly. Joseph was abused.
(59:40):
Moses had a stuttering problem. Get In he was afraid.
Sampson had long hair and was a womanizer. Rayhab she
was a prostitute. Jeremiah and Timothy were too young. David
had an affair and was a murderer. Isaiah Elijah was suicidal.
(01:00:08):
Isaiah preached naked. Jonah ran from God. Naomi was a widow,
Job went bankrupt. John the Baptist ate bugs. Peter denied Jesus.
The disciples fell asleep while praying. Martha she worried about everything.
The Samaritan woman was divorced more than once. Zach Kiss
(01:00:33):
he was too small, Paul he was too religious, Timothy
had an ulcer, and Lazarus was dead. So what's your excuse.
Jesus always shows the weakest men.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
That is why most of us we'll fit right in.
And I will praise his name into the end. O.
Jesus always choose the week is man. Oh, Jesus always show.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
The week is man.
Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
Amen God, I am so thrilled that you joined us tonight.
Now you are one of those ten talent guys.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
I love it. I love it. Well, we're gonna say
good night for tonight, for tonight, and you know, join
us again every Thursday at this time, and we're gonna
keep having some good folks come and uh and join
us and and talk to us about Jesus and and
that's just that's what we do right here. And so
I just I just thank you. Uh. If you push
(01:01:54):
those little share buttons and all of that, we'll get
get the word out. These are recorded and they stay
