Speaker 1 (00:06):
Broadcasting from the Golden spread of Texas. This is the
Fred Hughes Show. With each episode we introduce to you
an inspiring person or message to help you grow and
unlock your potential in life. I'm Fred Hughes, professional photographer, pastor, teacher,

(00:26):
author and your show host. Thank you for joining us,
and welcome this episode brought to you by the faithful
partners of Decision Ministry. Welcome once again to the Fred
Hughes Show. We're glad that you could join us tonight.

(00:48):
I have this good looking fellow sitting next to me
named Joe, and I'll get it out of my mouth,
get us and we're gonna talk a little bit about
just the you know, the prophetic word tonight. So I'm
excited about getting to do that. I want to remind you, however,

(01:09):
before we get started, that we do have, you know,
a website. If you go there, you can kind of
find out what's happening, what events we might have. I've
got a couple of books there and you can locate
them there, and we have several videos. We have a
little place for even a voting voting voter's guide, and

(01:29):
there's a whole lot of interesting things there, So we
just encourage you to jot that decision one dot org
the word decision the numeral one dot org and just
go avail yourself of that and you can just kind
of get in all all kinds of good stuff. And
there is this little secret button called a giving button

(01:52):
in there somewhere, and we'd encourage you. Every ministry needs
needs a little support, and we certainly are grateful and
appreciative of any support that you might send our way,
because the gospel is free, but getting it out there
does cost money, and so we appreciate those gifts and
we always celebrate and pray for the giver. So, without

(02:16):
further ado, I want to just have talk talk to
Joe a little bit. I was going to subtitle this Joe,
you know, the the the regular Joe Prophetic.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah something I get that all the time.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, exactly, g I Joe, but you know, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
It's one of those names where you know, I get
they used a lot.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Yeah, So it's good, welcome to think.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I'm so glad to be here.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
You know, I think so many people have have a
lot of fear about the prophetic, and I, for the
life of me, don't really understand why but you know,
it almost kind of falls into the mystical palm reading
or something, you know area, and people just do not

(03:07):
realize the difference between it and some psychic you know,
phenomenon or whatever.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
So have you bumped into some people that really kind
of question.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, absolutely, it's I think the palm know that type
of witchcraft, palm readers and stuff that's so more prevalent.
It is around the culture that unless you those same
people that know that symbol, they.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Don't even understand the word prophecy.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
You may have heard of it.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
And so it's it's a little bit unknown and people
need to be educated on it.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
And then what you said earlier.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I think people are there, they get timid, they get
they don't understand prophecy, and they don't understand that prophecy
and and what it what it means to hear from
God and what to do with it. So it's a
little bit intimidating, and it can be intimidating.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I know that, and we both experienced it, you know,
And at first, you know, you're kind of I hope
he doesn't call me out, you know, and another time
one you know, you kind of change change your attitude
going going through once you begin to understand what it
is and what the purpose is behind it and that
sort of thing. So one of the things I want

(04:32):
to do tonight is just kind of put folks at
ease about the prophetic word and and help you get
a hold of fact that it's genuine and it is
a wonderful gift that I personally just don't know how
to make life without it.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Absolutely, not just receiving it, but also giving it. Sometimes
that word, that word is a is a lifeline to
somebody at that particularly maybe a particular time, and you
don't know that person, but God does, and he wants
to share and trust you with this to speak to
that person.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
So and I mean, you know, we write it down.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
We try to record or or you know, if somebody
is going to give us a word, we really try
to record it and write it down or write it down,
you know, both of us, Irene and I will will say,
you know, we'll both if we don't have a recorder,
we both try to remember it and when we'll get

(05:33):
together as soon as we can and kind of get
a pencil behind it write it.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Down so that we do. And it's like.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Reading scriptures it's like reading a good scripture and going like, wow, man,
that's so good, you know, but then you look away
and you get and then you look back and you're
going like, oh, what, what's that?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Well, and sometimes you know, the prophet prophecy can be something.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
To confirm your past absolutely, but also confirm where you're
at today or what you need for today and then
for your future. So you want to you want to
you want to tape that, you want to write that
down and you want to say it.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
To look at prophesies that people have given us in
the past, and we we we bring those up.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
In fact, here's.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Fantastic.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
And my wife, my little wife, she is a bribe.
She has she writes down.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
This is just.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
One of about four or five books, but she writes
all this stuff out, types it all out and records it,
puts a date on it. And let me, I can
just tell you, especially if you're in ministry of some kind,
you have no idea how valuable that is until you
go back. You get in a in a place where

(06:56):
you're a little unsure, you're questioning some things, or you're
yet you go we all go through those head those
days of uncertainty.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
And whenever you go back and can recall what God
has said to.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
You through a mirroad of different people.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Wow, wow, And that's that's God's word. Well, it's God's word.
That's life. It is totally, it's life.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
So you want to just that can that can help
you in the on your low lower points in day
that you might have, and that could upload you because
that's from the Lord.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
I just went back and I was reviewing some prophetic
that we got that I got back in two thousand
and I can't remember what it was, two thousand and two,
two thousand and six. I can't remember which one it was,
but I was looking at a different thing. But anyway, well,

(07:59):
the in that I had never met, but we we
both sat under him.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Uh one meeting and no, he wasn't even in a meeting.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
He was just he was a friend of ours and
uh and uh he introduced these people and said they're
gonna if you want a personal property prophecy will come
and and they will sit with you.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
And and they just they did that. They just they
just stayed at the.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Church one afternoon and people would come in and they
did prophesy over them and and uh.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
And go on.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
You know, it was so so cool, you know that,
and the pastor just made room for that and uh
set up times for people they got they kind of
had a little appointment and.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
That way the guy could go take a break.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Once in a while. But it was just it was awesome.
And I mean to tell you, if both of us
got excellent words are great, you know, understanding of what's
going And like I said, it's as time passes.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
You can go back and you can reread.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Again what it says and go like, God, did I
missed that first time?

Speaker 4 (09:07):
But that's applicable for now.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Amen.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
And isn't this I'm sure you've experienced that. You know,
it's a blessing. Sometimes it's just one word and the
person's reaction will say it all. But as much as
it's a blessing to that person, it's.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
A blessing to you to be used that the Lord
chose to whenever they go off and go oh.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah, oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Because it is.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
And that's one of the points I want to make
is that a prophecy is an operation of faith. And
if you've ever given somebody a word of prophecy, it
takes faith to hand that out there, because hey, you've
got to believe there is a God.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
You've got to believe you heard his voice.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Absolutely, you've got to be bold enough to say it
to somebody.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
Absolutely, you know. And some people might have that question like, well,
is that my thoughts? Is that my imagination? Is that
actually of God? And what we were talking about earlier, Fred,
is it really starts and comes back to the intimacy
with the Lord.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
It is it's into me.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
See, it's into the Lord that you have that intimacy
relationship and in that you know his voice day in
and day out, you're spending time with him. You know
his voice, and so you know the difference between what
that voice is of the Lord and what it might
be your imagination. And then trust that, Okay, that time

(10:43):
time is spent that you're knowing the Lord and the
intimacy of his sweet, still quiet voice, and then you
can trust him to share something that you need to
share with somebody else that he wants you to share
with somebody else. And man, and that is just then
you just know that you know that you know that

(11:03):
you're doing the work of God.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Yeah, and you know when you're giving out a word,
you want to be careful and not to try to
embellish it. And you don't want to add to it
or take away from it. You just want to tell
them what it is that God told you. And that's
what's gonna you know. The Holy Spirit is the one
that that is doing the speaking and doing you know,

(11:27):
getting the information out there. We want that appure as
it can possibly be going through a it's going to
be impure because.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
It's got to come through.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, that's got to go through. Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
But boy, but you that is so good, Fred, because
it is so important that you don't embellish. You know,
we want to be good stewards of everything. We want
to be a good steward of our finances, of our blessings,
and we want to be good stewards of the world.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
So it is nothing but the Lord what you're sharing.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
And sometimes I think people are trying to prove their
their their gift or something a little bit, or are
trying to, you know, fine tune it for somebody so
that they can, you know, pre answer some questions or whatever.
But honestly, the Holy Spirit is quite able to take

(12:24):
that word and give them the revelation they need.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Yes, and we could easily miss it if we if
we do that, oh yeah, And there's a little of
it that always.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I mean, you can't help it, and you're going to
blow it occasionally, but you just don't want to do
it very you know, anymore than is necessary. Just that's
not what you want to do. You want to let
it be a pure word.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
From God, absolutely, And and you know God is faithful,
so he can use even in our infirmity, even in
whatever we're wherever at in our life, he can still
use whatever we've given to that person, he can still
use it.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Well, you know, if you're minister, if you minister at all,
well then you know it.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
You get to where you have a you have.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
A level of discernment, and you can easily kind of
recognize a trade or something. If you happen to know
this person at all or anything at all about them,
it's easy for that to kind of come in and
take it to have an end point, and.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
You don't want, really, you don't want that to happen.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
In fact, people that I know, I'm very careful to
give them a word, and I am very careful to
just say the word that I've heard from the Lord
I don't. I don't try to interpret and bellish and
do anything of that sort, especially with them.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Yeah, yes, that is so true.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
I want it. I want it to be a pure,
pure word. If that takes a little while. You don't
do that.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Over, No, you don't. You don't at all. Excuse me,
but you. But you want to be faithful if a
word is given, and you know I one of the times,
just recently, I had two people that were standing next
to each other, and they were probably one hundred yards
one hundred feet away from me, and I just looked

(14:22):
up and saw these two women, and immediately I had
a word for the woman to the right. And so
as I walked to that person, more words were downloading.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
And I didn't know them.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
I've never seen it before in my life, and I
knew and I wasn't I wasn't that creative to be
coming up with this story in my mind. And I
approached them, I give that word, but I thought that
word was for that person, but actually it was for
the other woman. But I was speaking it to that

(14:59):
one while the other one dropped to her knees and
just more than more than cried. It was one of
those wholehearted cheers. Probably she probably shed a gallon of tears,
but it was for her, But it was you know,
it just didn't make any sense, but yes it did,

(15:21):
and God knew it too.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, and that goes to show it's just we're imperfect
and we're not going to have a perfect delivery everything. Yeah, perhaps,
but we just have to be obedient to do what
God disasked us to do. And when we are well,
there's a great reward that's attached to that and great benefit.
And we see that it affects somebody's life and it

(15:45):
makes it changes in their life and or helps them
to make an exchange in their life. And so you know,
either way, if if it may be information that they needed,
or maybe you know, just a confirmation of what they've
heard God say already, but they just weren't clear whether

(16:06):
they really heard God on that or that it was
coming from themselves. So the word of prophecy can be
so wide in Spain. We you know, it's it's hard
to to say that kind of broad application it is
it has, but it.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Did absolutely And so what you what you just stated,
it's probably i don't know, maybe fifty percent of our
words that we've given to people are for that scenario.
But then there's that other fifty percent, which I really take.
I try to incorporate that in my business. My ministry
is my business, and my business is my ministry, and

(16:45):
I like to it doesn't separate it, and we don't
separate it. But but if you but to those fifty
percent or more that I minister to, they're needing to
hear the gospel. Absolutely, they're needing to hear these words,
but they don't go to church, or.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
They may be operating under a church and don't believe.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
That that's true. That's true, but absolutely, and shame on
that church. But even the ones that don't go to
that but just don't go to church there, you know,
we need we need the church. You and I need
to be out there for the for the general public.
And it's not being obnoxious proselytizing everybody, but it's just

(17:26):
you know, Saint Francis and Asez's share the gospel and
when necessary speak But boy, when you're given that position
to speak, then don't hesitate but to share the gospel.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Absolutely, And yeah, prophecy is all about Jesus, Amen, And
we're going to minister in Jesus' name to people, and
it's the Holy Spirit that comes and empowers us with
the information, with the with the word in season for
that person. We're just a delivery system. I mean, we're

(17:58):
just a loud speaker, some times more lived.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Sometimes the volume means we turned down.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Really, we're just the two of the The Holy Spirit
is able to get you know, his connect with another
human being, and I just think.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
That is one of the most fun things in the world.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
And it is fine.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
I just don't know exactly. I'm so glad God kind
of gifted me to be able to learn and grow
and develop in that prophetic voice. I'm so it's so important.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Yeah, and when did you and when did you hear?

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Like what you know, is the first time that you
were given a word to give to somebody a few
years ago, twenty years ago?

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yeah, probably when I was even young, and I really
didn't know what it was.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
I just thought it was wisdom.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
And sometimes it comes across a little bit like it
it is.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
It is the wisdom of God, but.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
It's not wisdom that comes out of the human psyche.
Wisdom that comes from God. Correct, And so it's a
it's a little different, and and you just start hearing
you know something, and you say something. You kind of
test it out, and you put a lot of little
parameters around it to begin with, especially as I don't know,

(19:17):
but I just kind of got this impression that maybe,
you know, God might be saying something.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Yeah, And so you.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Put all these little if ots butts, and you know
you're trying to not just you know, blow it with somebody,
but you do feel this. You have a a compelling
drive to express this, tom because you know God's trying
to say something through you, and.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Like You're like, how do I give it? How do
I say this? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Well, and and there's also different types the prophecies. You know,
what is a what is?

Speaker 3 (19:57):
You know some of them you know it's not necessarily
something for the future for that person, but maybe it's
a word of word of knowledge.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
And and and that that is.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
And you see the you get the similar results to that,
and uh, wow, you know it's just so so important
to do that. Wow, let's see here if I got
I must have hit a button earlier and got off
on the on away from our camera here. But anyway,

(20:39):
the word of the prophetic word is is really really
important in it, and it makes for life to people.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
That's what we wanted to do.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
We wanted to you know, wanted to bring life, uh
to the to the foe. You know that that scripture
that was up all ago out I hope all of
you had plenty of time to let me stick back
up there one more time, because it is two Timothy
three sixteen. Here's the sixteenth verse, right, there's kind of

(21:12):
in the middle of the screen. So all scripture is
given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instructions in righteousness. And that
is that is, basically, in a peanut shell, the purpose

(21:35):
of today, of the present day prophetic. Yes, and whenever
we look back at the old prophets of old, they
were more similar to what we call the office office
of a profit. And we still have those today. They're
still very active most but their activity is a little

(21:58):
more similar to the ones that were there that we
read about in the Old Testament.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Oh, when we read Jesus and.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
See him him functioned, that that's ours.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Yes, And and you know when we were talking earlier
before the show, it's all about Jesus. It is and
and and to validate that is Holy spirits here for us. Oh,
I mean we needed our strength, are our helper.

Speaker 7 (22:31):
But it's all I think he might be a little
bit upset with us if we if I can say
that if we aren't focusing on Jesus, because he's there
also to put the spite lot on Jesus and he
wants us to do that.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
And to be honest with you, none of the gifts
of the spirit operate outside of love, outside of Jesus. Yes,
that that you know, Jesus is what God is love
for for John John John four, anyway, I think it's

(23:08):
John four and first John also says that anyway there's
two to replace it. And just as God is love
and that you know, you can't separate Jesus from his love.
I mean that's that was one.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
It's all about Jesus. It's all true.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
And so you know, if you take those gifts that
the Holy Spirit gives you, and I don't care which
one you're operating in, they don't work right or properly
if you're not if it's not an operation of His love.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
And I think well stated, because I also think that'll
be received, Yes, better because that person will know, they
know it's yeah, they know it's real.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
They know your motivation, it's just love, nothing else.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
They know you're not caught in them. Yeah. And it
comes across that way.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
It comes across with a clans to it, a genuineness.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
And that's that's where you want to But you want
your heart right because really it does not.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
No ministry is worth anything unless it's an operation of
God's love, an expression of.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Jesus of Jesus.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Jesus.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Absolutely, I can't go wrong with that. So Joe, tell
me a couple of things about you know, give me
a couple of examples of words that you have experienced that.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
That were really you know for sure, you know.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
They they hit, they hit the right mark and and
you saw immediate change or very you know, you knew
the person well enough to know that they had it
resulted in something.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Good, Okay, And then what a word that I gave
to somebody? Yeah, So you know, I think the one
of the the this is the key is is you
speak it for you speak it out of faith? Yes,
I mean it is out of faith and you're you're
you're you're you're trusting that the Lord's going to back

(25:12):
you up here, and so you speak it out of faith,
and but sometimes, uh, I have a I struggle with this,
and I've shared this with my wife. I'll let her know,
like it's not faith, Like it's not faith anymore.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
I know for sure, for sure, for sure that I
heard from the Lord.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
So it's more obedience, it really is, than than faith.
So I'm not downplaying for the giver for the giver,
for the giver for the giver. I'm not I'm not
uh suggesting that it's not faith initially, but if there's
something that happens where it's just being obedient.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
I think it's true every time, single.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Time, absolutely so, so I've I will be I will
try to be obedient and then whatever the Lord tells me,
I'm going to say it. And and that especially if
you're going to say to something that might be really
like for instance, I'll give you an example.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
So I saw I saw this woman right in the
middle of.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
A store, two women, and I said to the one
because I was drawn to, and I said, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (26:20):
I mean it was pretty direct, but it's like, what's
going on?

Speaker 3 (26:23):
And then the woman shared saying that, well, my daughter
she is she's.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Got cancer, she's got this and this going on, and
so we're here in town and we're starting this whole process.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
And right there it was in my spirit that one
is I needed to get on my knees and put
my hands on her feet, and that's where the prayer
needed to start. She didn't have cancer her feet, but
that's where I was supposed to start praying.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
And so and plus a lot of.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
Times that's the way the gifts works.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Will feel something in our body and it's actually some
belongs to somebody else.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
Absolutely will know that that God.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
That's God's way of saying to us, you know, they
need healing, and it comes from this.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Area or whatever.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
And it's not our it's not our pain, it's not
our issue. But we can feel it enough to know
where it is in them.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, so powerful, so powerful.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
So I got dropped down on my knees and put
my hands on her feet and started praying. And I
and I don't remember what the prayer was, but I
remember praying, and I remember my spirit that it was
released and that.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
She was going to be healed.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Amen.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
And and and if it wasn't that second, by the
time she woke up the following day.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Yes, it would be gone.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Now sometimes it's different, but in that situation, that's exactly
what I what I knew, I knew. So I walked
away with that, and uh, I don't know. I ran
into her four years later, yep, not at that same store,
but another store, four years later, and she saw me

(27:59):
right away, and I didn't recognize her, but she recognized me,
and she came up to me and said, oh, do
you remember, you know, praying for my daughter, and and
I said, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Do remember that. And she said, she said, you were right.
She was healed.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
There was no more, there was nothing what needed to
be done. It's nothing that I did, although it might
have been used with the spoken word that was released
of the healing what God gave me to do, but
it was it's taking something that God has given you
and be faithful to what it is. And even if
it's only a one word, and that one word might
be a number, it might be a caller, that might be,

(28:36):
but you just and I wouldn't suggest that you tell
somebody that they're healingless the Lord.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
You pray for the healing, but you.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Say it and your spirit exactly and then you know
in your spirit, then you're giving the faith in your
and you're you know, they overcame by the blood of
the Lamb, and their testimony and their testimony is I'm
telling you this, and now this testimony she's gonna she's
just repeating, repeating and repeating.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
That will spread healing to other people.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Now we can always say the word, and the Word
of God is prophecy. Just remember that everybody out there,
and you know if it is prophecy. And so anytime
you speak prophecy by quoting the Word of God, you
can dress assured that that's true. You can send to
that this is for you.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
Amen.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
And and if you don't even have the verse, but
if somebody gives you that word when you know in
your spirit.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
But also take that to scripture. Absolutely, ninety minutes in Hell.
Forgot the name of the book.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
I think it's ninety ninety minutes in Hell and the Yeah, yeah,
phenomenal book.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Phenomenal book. I highly recommend it.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
But you know, he was he was grounded in scripture
and he was completely transformed with what happened. But what
did he do that next date, well, actually a couple
of days later, because he was so messed up with
what he experienced because he was he went to hell without.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
The excuse me, without the hope of the Gospel man.
So he was going through hell in hell.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Yeah, and so he but when he came back and
he got his bearings, the next couple of days, he
went right to scripture yep, and he pulled out four
and forty some odd versus to confirm what he saw.
So scripture has got to be backed by scripture.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
He is.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
It's all backed up, it's all there, it's all true,
and we can trust.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
The word of God.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
And so you know, a lot of times whenever you
get a prophetic word for somebody, God will attach a
scripture to it for you. And I always love to
give out that script you're along with the word, with
with the word that He's given me as much as

(31:05):
I can, because that's the first verification of the word.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
That I just gave them.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Absolutely, and it takes me out of the picture and
place is full focus on God.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
I love that part.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
I love that well. And you said, you know, I
give you that as an example. Let me just share
with you of one coming back to me my Bible
from my on the side of my bed. You know,
I have notes in that Bible, and in that Bible,
I have a piece of paper that I have five
items listed, wow, and that I pray and I am

(31:41):
praying for earnestly praying for those five.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
There's nobody that has seen that list, not even my wife.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
It's in my Bible and it's those five and nobody
else except for the intimacy of Father, Son and Holy
Spirit and myself.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
And I was at a meeting.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
And a person called me out who was up there,
and he said, I was having I was in quiet
time with the Lord the other day, and you're the
person that I got the word from. And he says,

(32:23):
you have five items that you have been praying for
and you're crying out for for the Lord.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
The five items.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
I know those five because he's really revealed it to me,
and nobody else does. But I have it now, you
have it now in the Lord, and he the Lord
wants you to say, he wants you to know that
all five of those are going to be answered.

Speaker 4 (32:42):
That's good. That's good. And that's very specific.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Yes, And you know the Word of God is it
can it can can be extremely It's you know, specific,
and just just recently, I had a that was in
a meeting and she's she was a she was an
evangelist of UH from Africa that was in the United

(33:11):
States doing some itinerating and joining with another ministry and whatnot.
And so she I got a word for this lady
during during the meeting that we were at and UH
it was. It was basically, I just said, you have
a daughter and that is about thirteen years old?

Speaker 4 (33:34):
Is that correct?

Speaker 1 (33:35):
And she said yes, yes, And I said she's she's
very sick, isn't she?

Speaker 4 (33:40):
And she said yes.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
And I said the word, the word that came from
the Lord is that I want you to not worry,
but that that she's going to get well eventually. But
I don't want you thinking that you're a bad mama
because you're over here ministering to people and you should
or could have been and there to take care of her.

(34:03):
And that has to be reassured. Oh my, I didn't
know she had a daughter. I didn't know how old
she was. I didn't know she's sick. I didn't know
any of those times. And I also didn't know she's
even worried about it.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Yes, And I and I was good.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
He did and I missed that meeting, and I heard
about that story, and I wish I would have been there,
because that's so awesome, because what do I even though
I wasn't here, I heard it from you, And so
now I'm telling you to others.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Absolutely and we can get those kind of specific words
for people. I mean, look at the woman at the
well and just watch what Jesus does.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
I mean, he read her mail.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
He told her exactly how many wives, you know, husbands
she had and what and that you didn't have one
now and all of this, you know, and.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
You know it a little changed her life.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
It changed not only hers, but it changed thousands of life.
She went and proclaimed that she was actually an evangelist.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
She won. If you if you read that whole scripture,
it says it calls it.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
A some it has a name for it, but anyway,
it means ten cities. Oh yes, so she covered she
went to ten cities around.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
She's never the same, never the same, And she was.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
The first one that Jesus actually revealed who he was
and that he was in fact the Messiah. Good point,
first one point, good point and out she went, yeah, amen.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Amen, Well.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
You know we talked about giving a word to somebody,
and then you talk about receiving a word, and this
is this is also h.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
It's great to get a.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Word from the Lord directly to absolutely And I just
got to share this because you know, he has spoken
very clearly to me before. But I was at an
event Zion at Trinity and Chuck Pierce was there, and
everybody knows Chuck Peerce and one of the few one
of the prophets that I completely support and believe in.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
So I was there and there were.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Some other people there, and so there was some words
that were personal prophetic words that were being given around
the church because there were through three or four people
up top, including Chuck, and so there was just prophets
just saying all sorts of words of these people. And
I was there hungry and hungry, and so anyway, it
was awesome.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
I was happy for all the people that received a word.
And so then I left the church.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
And as I was leaving the church, at the back
of the church, I said, and I stepped out, I
said to my spirit to the Lord, Gosh, Lord, it
would have been really nice to get to hear from
you tonight and get a word from one of those people.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
And you know what he said.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
He said just gently and lovingly back to me and said, Joseph,
I speak to you every day, so I get a
word from him every day. But he goes back to
that intimacy and knowing him and knowing his voice, and
you get it directly.

Speaker 4 (37:07):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Absolutely, And whenever he does, you know, whenever he does
have something that he wants to reiterate, even though you're close,
even though you have that personal relationship, every once in
a while he will still take a profit or no, yes,
give a prophetic word to somebody else to confirm it
for you to really nail down. Yes, I'm hearing him.

(37:33):
I am, I am. That's what he said to me.
That's what this guy said, he said about me, And
such a such a RESTful confirmation that I have.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
Heard the Lord absolutely well.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
And one of our meetings a couple of weeks ago, Thursday,
and I'm sorry to say, in her free day, somebody
gave me a word and and you Fred confirmed it
with what he told me.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
You confirmed that. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
And so the respect and the annointing that you have,
that I have, the anointing that you have, the respect
that I have towards you, I that was just that
was confirmed.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
And and you know, God has so many what I
call boom moments. Boom. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Sometimes it's kind of like hitting you between the eyes
with the tube before you know.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Oh yeah, oh yeah. Sometimes it's needed.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
But on other times it's so gentle and so loving,
and so you know, you know, it's you know, you know,
you don't you just you could just recognize that that love,
that presence, that power that comes through a genuine word
from God, and it's just you know, I just I

(38:54):
honestly don't know how we can do without it. And
for people that have no you know, set under ministries
that say that all of that passed away, we don't
need that anymore, I just they they don't they can't
teach what they don't know. Obviously, they don't know the power,

(39:15):
the presence, and and the loving spirit of God the
way that I'm privileged to know, because they just don't
get it. And I pray for people that that they
would somehow get in a place to where, you know,
read the word of God. You can just read the
word of God. Please just read the Word of God.

(39:37):
It'll teach you, it'll teach all of this stuff. But
you know, I just longed for his and and more
than just my life and other believers. You know, every
believer can prophesy absolutely correct, Absolutely, that is correct everybody everyone, everybody?

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (39:59):
And is it it is? It is for God's glory, yes,
and it is uplifting to our brothers.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Mankind.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
And it's actually part of the atonement.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
And I, you know, I believe that that we really
really need. Why that's switching off of camera for me,
But let's if I can get us back on the camera. Huh.
I don't know what's going on. We're having a little

(40:33):
problem with that.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Well, while you're doing that, is up there, you got it.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
Get back over here somewhere where it doesn't do that.
My switcher seemed to be having a mind of its
own tonight. So you were saying, but every believer has
the ability to prophesy, and and I think I think
that you know, the discovery of the at and the
discovery of the fact that we receive that ability through

(41:06):
our own intimacy with God, and what you were talking
about is just so true. And you don't, you don't
know unless you experience it. You don't, you don't, you
have no knowledge of it. Sure, and so the intimacy
that we develop with God gives us. He starts speaking
to us about us, but then he will begin to

(41:28):
speak to you about other people. And sometimes it's just
to draw you in to pray for that person some truth.
Sometimes it's specific and it's something you need to go
tell that person. And so that intimacy from God is
really where it comes from.

Speaker 3 (41:46):
Absolutely it is. And in that intimacy, it's just love
what you just said earlier. So it's out of that
like it's you're walking it out out out of the relationship.
You're seeking the relationship. There's no place that he's not right.

(42:08):
And with that intimacy, uh man, you just you you
needed you need to walk with Holy Spirit throughout the
whole day. And then walking the whole walking with the
Holy Spirit all day, he'll he'll he'll he'll grab your
shoulder and kind of slow you a pay a second
turn right, and then he'll he'll share something that you

(42:30):
need to share it to somebody.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
The minute we get born again, we have that we
have the ability to hear him and that that start,
that is that intimacy that we develop over time with him.
Uh tunes our ear and I love the Word of God.
I see it as a tuning fork.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (42:51):
If you look at the Word of God.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Being similar to a tuning for it, it tunes your
It tunes your spiritual years into where you hear the
voice of God and recognize.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Yeah, my gosh, I love that. I'm gonna use that.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
What I've actually always used for Some of you are
probably too young to know this, but you remember those
little square uh transistor radios handheld transistor radios AM And
when you turn that thing on and you barely touch
that that dial the volume and changing the station, it'll

(43:36):
just crackle, make all sorts of noise. You can't even
hear anything. But then you move it back and for
just a split second you might hear something. So you
got to get it back and forth. Well, there's so
many distractions in the world, and we have to deal
with distractions.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
All day long, and now all that it's like, no, no,
let's get focus back.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
That's why quiet time, starting at quiet time every morning
is just refocus to sing.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
Back, helping that intimacy. Yeah, yes, absolutely, that's so good. Yeah,
that's so good.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
By like the tuning for it better, that's good.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
But really and truly that that that's the thing that
you know, every believer can prophesy. Does that mean every
believer will prophesy? No, no, we we we have to
make a choice to and ask God for that and
receive it by faith and then begin to operate in

(44:33):
it by faith. So prophecy is an operation of your faith.
We already hit on that earlier, but I want to
reenterrate that one point and the the now. There is
a difference between that and what a believer can hear
because of our relationship with God and what the Holy

(44:54):
Spirit is able to give you in the war, in
the in.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
The term in terms of gifting.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
So I want to talk about the gifts of the spirit,
and uh was that it found a couple of places
in the Bible And uh, if you don't know about
gifts of the spirit, will then look that up.

Speaker 4 (45:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
So so what do you so you're operating in when
you're walking in a prophetic Yeah, you can't.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
It can be a gift.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
And uh, I believe that's what I oup or I
believe that's what both of us are operating in when
we get those specific words, yes, that that we were
talking about in our examples earlier. Uh, that's the kind
of power I think that comes with the gift that
those are those are special design gifts.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
The word says that he.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
Gives us several of those gifts and not just one.
But we generally will kind of center in on a
main gift that we operate in and get better with
maybe than the other. So I have, you know, a
couple of gifts that I regularly operate on, but I

(46:11):
have prophecy is probably my main yeah, you know place,
and so I'm comfortable with that. But I can and
I can be coasted out of that and and calls
to jump into something else.

Speaker 8 (46:25):
But you can teach, But you can teach. Yeah, then
that is a gift you can and uh, pastor pastor
for sure.

Speaker 2 (46:36):
I think there's a uh we need a lot of
pastors out there, not behind pulpits.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
Amen. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
Yeah, uh, especially men. Uh, the men need to rise
up and start being being men that were called to be.

Speaker 4 (46:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Yeah, there's a scripture says that there's many teachers, but
there's not many fathers. Yes, there's a difference between you
know somebody that knows m Well, there's there's a big
difference between a baby daddy and a real father.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Yeah, yeah, that's true, that's true. I want to have
the heart of the Father. Yeah, I want to have
the heart of the Father. I want to have I
know that we have the mind of Christ.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
Because that's what scripture says. But I want to be
able to have the eyes of Jesus. So the two,
my eyes of Jesus and my mind of Christ can
work in conjunction with each other. Absolutely, and then I
have the boldness of.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
The Holy Spirit, sensitivity the Holy Spirit to walk out
what He's called me to say and do.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
I know, I believe that everybody should walk be walking
that way.

Speaker 3 (47:56):
I love to teach, and I think, you know, Paul says,
be ready to give a reason for the hope.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Yes, so we all need to be doing. We all
need to be doing.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
But there are certain people that are a little bit
more gifted in teaching than than other people are.

Speaker 4 (48:12):
And that's okay, that's okay.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
And there are in likewise, there are people that are
that are gifted in in what I call works, which
is uh there that they they're the person that shows
up and keeps the keeps everything functioning. You know, they
see about this, they fix that, they get this ready.

(48:37):
They they're making way the way ready for the Lord
to be presented. And that can be a nussure, that
can be you know, a greeter. That can be people
that just come up and shake your hand and give
you an encouraging word. I mean that there's so many
people that just jump in there and do the work

(48:59):
so that you don't have.

Speaker 4 (49:01):
Asked. Oh absolutely, and that they're just I mean, they're
just people that have those kinds of gifting that not
everybody does.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
No, and that's what makes us you neque and that's
what we need to be seeking to be the real,
genuine you, because what God put in you is unique.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
Well, well probably you know Proverbs thirty one.

Speaker 3 (49:26):
Well, my wife is my my nickname for her that
I gave her thirty years ago is my Proverbs thirty
one point five. She's my Proverbs thirty one point five woman.
And but she's she's tremendous. She's just like the Proverbs
thirty one that we read about. But she will be

(49:46):
one of those people where she doesn't want to be
on stage and that, but she's not comfortable up there,
but boy, she's comfortable behind the saint, behind the stage.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
And so yeah, we need to be Uh it goes
back to leave what you said.

Speaker 3 (50:01):
I think everybody can and should prophesy, but uh, don't
don't try to be a teacher when you're not a teacher.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
Don't buy you a profit pen and put it on
your that that has to do with the with the
office of prophecy. And really a true profit is never
self identifying. He is always identified by what what has
works produced based on, and then what people are calling him.

(50:35):
And so it is it's not your place to call
yourself a profit or an apostle or any of the
other offices. You You are appointed by God to stand
in those offices, and you should do it with great
humility and great honorable ability. You should have to hold

(51:02):
it in such deep armor, and you don't want to
violate it.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
Oh absolutely, Uh, I just I can just get excited
about getting getting a word and and uh to walk
in to walk somewhere, and to just just to not
even know the person, not to know anything about the person.

Speaker 2 (51:27):
But God has given you, know.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
I know, He's giving you maybe one word to give
to somebody, and then sometimes you you say it and
then everything else comes out.

Speaker 4 (51:38):
Yes, that happens all the time, yes, and not abnormal,
but I really think.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
You know, I have this one little thing I said,
God always keeps us in a faith posture and He's
always going to do that, and then you get if
you'll take that first step, that if you do the
first thing he said to do.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
Then he'll give you more.

Speaker 2 (52:00):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
That is a that is this totally scriptural concept and
it really really happens with using the gifts. Any of
the gifts kind of operate that way a little bit.
So he's not going to give you the whole picture
hauled again begin with necessarily, He's going to give you
the first step and you take that and then you'll
then you'll get more. Yes, I like the picture of

(52:22):
he is a light a lamp unto our feet. It's
like at that time when it did you know that
little beam of light and a lamp from a lamp.

Speaker 4 (52:31):
It just goes out so far.

Speaker 1 (52:32):
Yeah, you don't know what's past that, right, You're gonna
have to walk a little ways and then you find
out and then you find it the risk more as reveal.

Speaker 2 (52:40):
Yeah, okay, so this this just made me think of
another uh word that God could give you.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
This happened years ago for the first time in my life,
I was I was given a word in front of
somebody and I felt like, Okay, I'm gonna speak it out.
Well it was the strangest thing, but it was like
right in the middle of my back, of my neck.

(53:10):
He reached in with a hook and grabbed my tongue
and pulled it back into my mouth and he said, no,
I'm sharing this with you, but not with them because
they won't be able to receive it. But you are
having this word to have insight.

Speaker 9 (53:29):
Yes, And wow, wow, it blew me away because you know,
those might be words of but it was no, it
was words not for today, but I would be knowing
that I was able to now give maybe words of encouragement,
may be a word of wisdom, but not the full
download because they wouldn't be able to receive it.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
But anyway, that was that That that that really transformed
my walk with the Lord.

Speaker 4 (53:54):
Yeah, those kind of those kind of experiences really do.

Speaker 1 (53:59):
And that is that's what I call growth, because you know,
you grow in that whenever you whenever you meet with
a new experience like that, and God teaches you what
to do with and why He's doing that.

Speaker 4 (54:13):
That all of a sudden, you have just been matured.
And I love the way God is able to just
I don't know how I mean, for for us humans
we have to.

Speaker 1 (54:27):
Hear words, one syllable at a time and kind of
get the brain going and figure out how that that
all goes together and then you know, make make the
sentence all fit and you know, and so our time
frame for being able to gain understanding is so limited.
But when God shows up, Holy Spirit shows up, it's

(54:47):
just all of a sudden, your.

Speaker 4 (54:49):
Knower goes off. Yes, what I call it?

Speaker 2 (54:52):
Yeah, no'sa you.

Speaker 4 (54:54):
Know, all of a sudden. I'm going like, whoa slow down?

Speaker 1 (54:57):
I got right, Yes, because all of a sudden you
just boom, you know, you know the all in yards.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
He just he gives you.

Speaker 4 (55:05):
He gives you a complete thought all at once boom.

Speaker 3 (55:09):
Yes. Well, And and just to encourage anybody that that
that thinks that they have a word and two to
give up.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
I I believe this with all my heart. And Peter
is an example of that. Oh what we give up
when we don't give up? Oh what we give up?
We don't give up.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
So if Peter didn't give up the fear of knowing
the ocean, but stepping out of it.

Speaker 4 (55:36):
We want to be talking about it.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
Everybody knows about Peter walking on water. So what we
give it?

Speaker 3 (55:42):
So so so give up the fear, give up the apprehension,
give up. But because you know his voice and your
you just need to walk down to that and be faithful.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
Be faithful.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
Man.

Speaker 4 (55:53):
Time flies when you're having a good time.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
Joe, it is, it doesn't. I am the surface.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
We could probably do three shows in a row.

Speaker 2 (56:01):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (56:02):
And yeah, I think your stories, uh well, both of
our stories we could share just one time. But it's
just edifying to the Lord, edifying to uh and just
edifying to the Lord and edifying to the person who
God is using absolutely, and that's.

Speaker 1 (56:21):
Really what we wanted to do. Not is more than
anything is. We wanted to encourage you in your gift.
We wanted to encourage you that you have the ability
to prophesy. If you're born again, you have you can
hear the voice of God and you can prophesy.

Speaker 4 (56:40):
You can speak it.

Speaker 5 (56:41):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (56:42):
I get tickled sometimes at churches when we.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
Talk about they're they're waiting for the for for the
Holy Spirit to pour out, you know, prophecy.

Speaker 4 (56:50):
No, it's already actually, it's already been done.

Speaker 3 (56:53):
You know, He's.

Speaker 4 (56:55):
We don't have to ask for that because it's already
been done.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
It's already been so well, you know, our sons and
our daughters can promise that, I mean, everybody.

Speaker 4 (57:03):
That is born again can propise that, and that if
we don't get any point across tonight, besides that.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
We really want you to understand that did you have
the ability that God has placed it in you? And
if you want to intensify that you can get filled
with the Holy Spirit. Your church may or may not
teach that, but there's ways for you to find that out.
You can just read your Bible and it's it tells

(57:29):
about it right there. So just go to book Acts
and find out about it, and you know it, find
somebody that has received that and operates in some of
these gifts and talk to them about it rather than
some pastor that's told you all this passed away. Okay,

(57:49):
to do yourself a favor and make the discovery. So Joe,
I want you to close out and just pray for
folks right now in Jesus's name, and we'll say bye.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
We just praise your name. We just thank you. We
just thank you for You're out for our best interests.

Speaker 3 (58:07):
You created us, and you love us, and you know
our potential and you want everything that you want to
support us and helping us being the men and women
of God that you've called us to be. You've called
us into intimacy with you and to walk with you.
You want to be known, and you want us to
know ourselves better, and the only way we can do

(58:29):
that is that you reveal yourself to us in a
greater way. So Lord, thank you, Thank you for loving us,
thank you for not giving up on us, and thank
you for wanting us to walk in the fullness of
what we're called to do. And Lord, I just ask
for all of these people, anybody right now that is

(58:50):
just thinking that they're hearing your voice. Lord, I plead
the blood of Jesus over every one of their minds,
every one of their hearts. Holy Spirit, just move on
them now, yes, move on them now, Touch them like
you can only touch them.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
Wherever they're at live now or what they're hearing in
the future on a recording.

Speaker 3 (59:20):
Your your power is there, and ask that you would
just touch them, open up their hearts to you bathe
them Lord in your presence, and release to them the
gift of prophecy, and give them the boldness to step

(59:42):
out and to speak it in your name for your
glory and for the edification of that person in Jesus' name.

Speaker 4 (59:52):
Glory to God. Joe once again, thank you for being
with us at the show.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
Up to that.

Speaker 4 (59:57):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (59:58):
You join us again next week, same time, same station,
seven o'clock Central daylight savings time or whatever it is
right now, and we'll be here and we'll have somebody
else that has a good word for you as well.
