I want to I have a message too. Before I
get started with that, though, I would just like to
remind you of our website. Put that up here. Let's
see right there, it's a the word Decision, the numeral
one dot ORGG. That's our website. You go there and
(01:12):
give us a like, I'll give us a you know,
give us pay a little attention to what's there. There's
all kinds of good things there, so it's worth going.
There's also a little giving button in Every ministry needs
some support, so click on that and if you can
be generous. We appreciate. I want to move hardly on
and uh and just just because I have a word tonight,
(01:34):
that's it's not I'm just kind of burning in my
spirit and I want to quickly deliver it to you
because I feel like it's it's very important, especially at
this moment, and so it's just well, I just want
to move quickly into it. So so I want to
do that. I want I want to just say the
(01:56):
title of my message for tonight more or less is
he said yes, he said yes. Aren't we glad that
Jesus said yes, yes, we are that. You know, there's
just no one like Jesus in the world at all.
I mean, there's there's never been anybody like Jesus except
(02:19):
for the Father. And you know that he said, I
am the father of one. You've seen me, You've seen
the Father. So there's one like him. But they are one,
and the Holy Spirit is one with them as well.
And so we have we have such a wonderful person.
(02:41):
But it's the person of Jesus that I kind of
talk about because it's that that personality within the within
the triing in God that said yes to us, and
so that that's such a powerful, such a powerful one
(03:03):
that he did say yes. And so I really I
just kind of want to begin with an understanding that
you know, he he is the center of the creation.
He's not he he's the very focus of all creation.
(03:23):
In fact, he is the creator. And yet you know,
as we try to describe who he is or who
you know, try to put some sort of a description
around around who Jesus is, it's it's really just an
(03:44):
exercise of futility, I think. So anyway, let me just
kind of read you the best person's description that I
know of the apossible. Paul said in Ephesians three eighteen
and nineteen. We are trying, we are trying to comprehend
(04:07):
with all the saints, what is the width and the
length and the depth and the height to know the
love of God which surpasses knowledge. I mean, you know
he was You could see the frustration and and and
the in his words of going like, I can't I
(04:28):
can't even attempt to try to describe who you are.
But you surpass anything that we have. And yet we
try to bring an understanding of the immense and the
enormity of God into our understanding because and we do
(04:51):
that because he's worth it. He he's someone we need
to think about, we need to try to comprehend, even
though he is incomprehensible. So let's just kind of start
with a scripture that I think is really strong, and
(05:11):
I'm going to put it up here on the screen
so we can look at it together. Clautions. It's one
Cautions one fifteen through seventeen. And he is the image
of the invisible God, the first born over all creation,
(05:36):
or by him, all things were created that are that
are in heaven and that are on the earth, visible
and invisible, whether thrones are dominions, are principalities or power,
(06:00):
all things were created through him and of him. And
he is before all things, and in him all things consist.
And he is the head of the body the Church,
(06:21):
who is the beginning, the first born from the dead,
that all things, that in all things he may have
pre eminence. Well, you know, I went on to verse
eighteen because I think it is equally as powerful. We
(06:44):
need to remember that he is the firstborn, that he is,
he is everything. And so that's kind of where I
want to proceed to tonight. And you know, he is
he is the you know, invisible God that that we
(07:04):
can't we can't even fathom. These words were written about Jesus,
you know, by the apostle Johnny, and they're powerful. But
you can you can you like him? You have a
lot of trouble trying to describe this person. You know,
(07:29):
he is not only the center of our faith, he
is the center of everything. And you know, try reading
you could, you could even go back and try reading
the scripture which just kind of the pronouns, you know,
just kind of replacing and replacing them. Let me, let
(07:50):
me just kind of give it a try. Here. All
things were created through Jesus, and for Jesus, and Jesus
is before are all things, and in Jesus all things consist.
John echoes this same scripture verse over in John one
(08:12):
one through three, and it's he said, in the beginning
was the Word, and the word was with God, and
the Word was God. All things were made through him,
and without him nothing was made that was made. You
(08:36):
know that that that impresses me, because that that gives
the gives us a better view of the normanty we
know this this word part, this word is Jesus. That
he's talking about the word. And in the beginning was
the word. And we know that that word is Jesus
(08:57):
himself because John one fourteen says the word became flesh
and dwelt among us. And so from from the very beginning,
Jesus wasn't a backup plan. He didn't. He was not
He was not you know, plan B at all. He
wasn't somebody that came along and goes, oops. It wasn't.
(09:21):
He wasn't the god of oops. Let's just put it
that way, okay, man. You know, there wasn't any oops
in the picture at all. He made it, and he
made it perfectly, and he made it, and you know,
he made himself. He was central, and he wasn't added
(09:42):
to the story. You know, when Sin entered the world,
he didn't. He didn't. He didn't have to remake come
up with a new plan and say, old, oops, I
forgot about that. I didn't think about that. Now, he
had the plan from the beginning, or you know, before
the foundation of the world. The Bible says he he
(10:06):
he had already established all of those things. And he
was he was, like the scripture says, you know, he
was before the founders of the foundation of the world.
He was he made it. He created it. So imagine
this before the stars, before time, before anything really ever
(10:30):
existed at all. God had a dream. He had a
dream the Father envisioned a family, and a family that
was made in his image. And he said, he said,
you know, he said to Jesus, and he said, the
Holy Spirit, he said, let us make a man in
(10:52):
our own image. And you and I, you, you know,
God knew what he was doing. And you and I
were created and thought up and planned and designed to be,
(11:12):
you know, to be exactly placed in the super plan
from the beginning of time. And you know, from from
the very beginning, from the start, you were not an accident.
Jesus was certainly not an accident, because you know, love
(11:33):
isn't really without a choice, is I mean, you know
we have If we don't have a choice in the matter,
well then you know, love can't really express itself. We're
not robots. We can't we can't you know, we can love,
whereas you know, a tangible something like a robot, it
(11:57):
can't love, It can't know, it can't can or really understand. Uh,
you know, he can you run programs maybe, but it
can't do what a human was designed to do and
in fact, our worship. You know, if we worship worship
that that that isn't really freely given in fact is
(12:20):
you know, it's not really even true worship. It can't.
You know, it's not an expression, it's not a gift.
It's not it's not it's not valid because it has
to be, you know, of our free will to give.
And so you know, God gave us the ability to choose,
(12:40):
knowing that we'd mess up, knowing that it would cost
him something to straighten our mess out. But he gave it.
He gave he from the beginning of time. He had
a plan and it was a good plan. The eternal
decision was yes, aren't you glad? Jesus said yes, aren't
(13:07):
you glad? Jesus is still saying yes to you and
to me, to anybody that wants to receive him. Wow. Yeah,
that's that's that says Actually when it happened, when Jesus
said yes to the Father, because the Father said, let
(13:29):
us make man in our own image, Jesus had to
respond with that overwhelming yes at that very moment, before
there was a sunrise, before there was you know, the
garden of Eden out there blooming and before anything, and
(13:53):
you know, ever had a chance that to you know,
I exist. God was already there and already had this plan.
Before man ever got around to thinking about sinning. Jesus
had already said yes. And that makes all the difference
(14:15):
in the world to you and I, because without that, yes,
we wouldn't exist. You know. He stepped forward and he said, Father,
make the world as you have dreamed of it, our
create in our own image. These these human beings, give
(14:36):
them a choice, and I will go, and I will
I will pay the price. I will take their place.
I will come and and put down my mind godly
you know, I will take off my godly clothing and
put on this human robe and and save them and
(15:02):
be the answer, be the savior to their every woe.
There would you know, there would be no earth without Jesus.
There wouldn't be any trees, there wouldn't be any ocean,
there wouldn't be you know, cities and nations. There wouldn't
be a future, there wouldn't be hope. There wouldn't without Jesus,
there would just be there would There wouldn't even be us.
(15:26):
And so aren't you glad that he said yes? Aren't
you glad. Jesus said yes in advance, way before we
ever even were a thought. You know, the god the
world owes its existence to the man called Jesus. Let
(15:50):
me let me see if I can quickly make a
little transition here. I'm going to go over to Philippians.
I get that done here just a second. Philippians to
chapter two, and I want to go down to nine
(16:16):
through about eleven. Here. Let me see if I can
kind of get that up on the screen for you.
It's Philippians two, nine through eleven. Will get to that
just in the city. Every every sinner who curses his name,
(16:39):
every person who mocks Jesus, every every person that that
that that that has ever breathed the breath you know,
ever been able to fog a mirror, no matter how good,
no matter how bad they were, they only exist because
(17:03):
of him. Every breath that we take, every step that
we make, every every thing it was all it's all
made possible for by Jesus. And you know, Jesus is
the one that made it possible. All things were created
by Jesus and for Jesus. And yet he's the probably
(17:30):
the most misunderstood person in the world. But don't be
fool because you know, just just because he he ignored
some of those those things that you know, people spitting
on him, and people you know, cursing him, and people
(17:51):
you know that that go around even today and say God,
you know, you know, damning him and uh, you know,
and just ignorance and saying all matter of bad things
about him even though they don't know him at all.
And he made a way, He made a way for
(18:12):
every human being to have the ability to become a
son or a daughter of God Most High. Now, that
just boggles my mind completely. If it were me that
were doing it, I wouldn't have paid for all those
guys that I knew wasn't gonna make it, wasn't never
going to make the choice to love me, to serve me,
(18:36):
to do anything with me. I would have never paid
for their sin and made it available for them to choose.
I would have just but that's short. But you know,
every human being that's ever breathed breath has been given
(18:56):
that choice. And every one of them, even even though
some may not have heard the Gospel preach, they know
just by looking around, in in in in the creation,
they know they have The scriptures say they were without excuse,
because you can see him in even in just the creation.
(19:21):
The Creator is revealed in the creation. And so you know,
therefore God always, you know, he God also has high
he's also highly exalted, and he has given him, given
(19:47):
Jesus the name above every name. He's given him a
name that that that's above every every name, every tongue says,
every niche shall bound, every tongue confessed. So let me
just kind of run that scripture by right quick, because
that's exactly what I wanted to read off hear. It's
(20:16):
Philippians two, chapter two, verses nine through eleven. Therefore God
also has highly exalted him Jesus, and given him Jesus
the name which is above every name, that the name
of Jesus. That at the name of Jesus, every need
(20:39):
shall bow for those who are every need, every need
shall bow for those in heaven and of those on earth,
of those under the earth, that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.
(21:04):
You know, He's going to be exalted, folks, And you
know I want to do that right now. I want
to just exalt the name. I just exalt his name
before you by saying, aren't you glad? He said, yes,
I am. I'm so glad that my Savior said yes,
(21:28):
Fred was worth and Fred was worth coming giving up
my godly position in heaven and becoming a human and
dwelling amongst us who live here on this earth, giving
(21:48):
his body to be beaten. In all the things that
all of the things that we know that Jesus did
in our behalf, he said yes, and he did it
even before the earth was created. You know, how can
(22:09):
you how can you ever quite comprehend that such such
a tremendous thing, And yet we still he still, you know,
has the last word in all of it. And even
(22:30):
even now he stands ready to pay for I mean,
he already has actually is already paid for in full everything.
And you know, the world seems really chaotic right now,
Countries rise and fall, and voices shout loud, you know,
(22:51):
with a whole bunch of different opinions and philosophies and
all this kind of stuff. But in the end, Jesus
will have the final word. And I think, brothers and sisters,
that that day is growing a little closer as we look,
and we see that the time is approaching. You know
(23:13):
that North not Korea, and not Russia, not China, not
you know, Washington, d c uh. None of those are
going to be in charge in in the end. Not
the globalists, not the Communists, not the Americans, not the Japanese,
(23:34):
not not anybody. You know. Every knee, it says, every
knee good and evil, every need seen and unseen, whether
it's in you know, visible or invisible, every demonic being,
every angelic being, every knee that was created from the
(23:59):
beginning of time, time will bow before Jesus. Aren't you
glad he said yes? Because he didn't have to. He
certainly did not have to. A man, I mean to me,
it just is so mind boggling that I cannot comprehend it.
(24:22):
And yet in my knower I know it's true. In
the Word of God, it reveals the fact that this
is true. And I'm just celebrating him tonight. I'm just
celebrating with him that he said yes to you to me.
(24:43):
Our eternal union with Jesus was made secure before the
beginning of time. Those of us who have received Him,
who love Him, who call you know him Lord, we
(25:04):
enjoy a relationship that will never ever, ever end. Jesus
will always be our savior, our redeemer, our master, and
our friend. We will be joined with him in a
way that is way beyond our comprehension and yet gloriously real.
(25:31):
It is real, more real than what we perceive at
the moment, is real because he said yes. And that
makes it so that word yes. I love it because
it you know, it's it's yes, and amen, yes, and
(25:57):
so be it. And so you know Jesus said yes,
and Father, so be it. I will do everything that
I need to do to satisfy your longing for a family.
I give me to become them so that they can
(26:21):
live in me and you can have a relationship through
them and through I mean through me with them. What
a sacrifice, What a big word yes was? Well, I
hope you are encouraged. I want you to think from
(26:42):
time to time this week about yes and how huge
that word was when Jesus said it, way back before
the earth was even thought about in Jesus' name. Let
me pray for you, Father, I pray every person, for
every person that's watching tonight, Lord, that we would just
(27:06):
get into the word, that we would understand and know
and comprehend at least in small part where you have
laid your life down for. And what precious people you
see us as, even though we don't see ourselves as much,
(27:28):
but you do. You see the value that you placed
in us from the beginning of time. And we are
so thankful, so grateful and so impressed that you see
that value that you put in us. And you were
(27:51):
able to say yes, thank you, and God bless you
made the the Lord bless you and keep you this week,
and pray for America, Pray for our brothers and sisters
around the world. Pray that God is moving into this earth,
(28:15):
and pray that we will be like the sons of
Isakar and we will know the times that we are
living in and what to do about it. And so Father,
I just asked for the revelation that every one of
your children need during this time period. And we're probably
going through some rough waters, and we will succeed because
(28:41):
you have called us, and you empower us, and you
bring us under your wing, and you provide for us
the things that we need to be able to endure
all things in all times because you have made us
in your image. You have made us to become family
(29:07):
to the one true god Father. Thank you for the family. Amen,
join us again next week. I have exciting folks lined up,
