(18:46):
music is made by creekness goons singing sly lude in
plain fact dirty lyrics. It manages to be the martial
music of every delinquent on the face of the earth.
It is the most brute, ugly, desperate, vicious form of expression.
It has been my misfortune to hear Frank Sinatra speaking

about Elvis Presley. Exhibit a opposition propaganda affidavit of name withheld,

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, zip code withheld two. On Thursday, December nineteenth,
nineteen ninety six, I personally attended the Marilyn Manson concert
in Dallas, Texas.

Speaker 8 (19:44):
Three.

Speaker 11 (19:46):
When the band took the stage, the female guitar player
came out naked except for very thin sea through panties.
She did things to herself with a vibrator and other things.
Manson brought a dog out on stage and had intercourse
with it and asked the crowd to get on the
floor and have sex. I heard them talk to the
crowd about doing rape on young girls and boys. Four.

(20:09):
The youngest people in the crowd were nine or ten
years old. Drugs were constantly being passed out from the
front to the back. The security guards in the concert
were encouraging people to do what Manson asked them to do.
No police were ever in the auditorium area. They were
kept outside. I feared from my own physical safety as
the crowd went into a frenzy.

Speaker 8 (20:30):
Five.

Speaker 11 (20:32):
I saw band members have real and simulated sex with
each other. During a Satanic church service, Manson talked about
killing animals as a sacrifice, preached from the Satanic Bible,
and gave an invitation to accept Satan as Lord. By
coming forward to an altar. He threw out some liquid
substance over the crowd. Six. I witnessed sexual intercourse and

(20:54):
sexual activity by people in the concert, not just on
the stage. And I saw more than two dozen people
being taken out of the concert because of injury. Seven
I left before the concert was over. Eight Further, you're

(21:15):
ninety seven fake and defamatory affidavit distributed by the American
Family Association Exhibit B Tour diary undated people don't keep
journals for themselves. They keep them for other people, like
a secret they don't want to tell, but they want
everyone to know. The only safe place for your thoughts

(21:38):
is your memory, which people can't take and read when
you're not looking, at least not yet. I'm starting to
think that if the Internet is the CBE radio of
the nineties, then the home computer is the trailer park
of the soul, a dangerous tool in the hands of idiots. Eventually,
self imposed fascism will destroy man as he convinces himself

(21:59):
he doesn't have to think anymore. September nineteen ninety six,
New York City. None of us wanted to play this
Nothing Records showcase in the first place, and now I've
inadvertently injured my drummer, nailing him with a microphone stand
and landing him in the hospital. We had wanted to
do a Marilyn Manson show to kick off the tour
for Antichrist Superstar, but this turned into some sort of

(22:22):
strange ego trip, which I'm sure was just to make
us look foolish. I'm going to go to sleep now
and pretend like this didn't happen. This wasn't the beginning
of the tour. It was one last favor. October nineteenth,
nineteen ninety six, Cleveland, Tony Chula, our new manager, came
by and asked me to guess what number Antichrist Superstar

(22:42):
went to on the charts today. I told him three,
and I was right. It couldn't be any other number.
On the back of the record, there's three of us.
There's three sections to the record. It's all three. The
three means something else too, something that's going to happen
in the future, something that is going on to change
the world as far as we October twenty second, nineteen

(23:04):
ninety six, Toronto, someone called in a death threat today.
They said they were going to bomb the building and
its occupants with mustard gas. Is that some sort of condiment?

Speaker 8 (23:15):
I guess.

Speaker 11 (23:16):
I give them credit for being creative, and obviously I'm
still here undated. For a moment tonight, I felt like Christ.
It was snowing on me and I could have been
anywhere wichitab Berlin, Golgatha. There was a mirror behind the
crowd on the wall, and I watched myself like a
painted frozen The gash in my side bled and bled.

(23:38):
It was so beautiful. I cried right there in front
of five thousand people. I was letting out the boy
who had died on his plastic cross in elementary school.
He escaped through the hole in my ribs. Halloween nineteen
ninety six, New Jersey Tonight, somehow the rumor got started.
I was going to kill myself, but I've died so

(23:59):
much in the past year. I don't think there's much
left to kill undated. I'm becoming what I used to
be afraid of. When the whole world wants to destroy you.
Every day is your last day, and every performance is
your final one. The Antichrist isn't just me or just
one person. It's all of us, a collective state of
mind that America needs to have awakened in that I

(24:22):
want to waken in them. That's the purpose of this tour,
maybe even my life, to make Americans realize they don't
have to believe in something just because they've been told
it all their lives. You can't have someone who's never
had sex or drugs telling you it's wrong. Only through
experience can you determine your own morality. Humanity isn't about
constantly having to seek forgiveness for being human. Humanity is

(24:45):
leading a guiltless existence as an individual. That is armageddon.
Because to Christianity, if you forsake the idea of God
and believe in yourself, the world is over.

Speaker 8 (24:57):
Give it.

Speaker 11 (24:58):
As believers in Christ, we have always had and will
continue to have, authority over demons and evil spirits given
the rock group Marilyn Manson consists of demons or evil
spirits in that they espouse heretical beliefs, claim to be
Antichrists and Satanists, and attempt to tempt children away from
Christianity with sin. Part of the authority Christ has given

(25:22):
us over demons is the power to through prayer, bind, restrain,
and inhibit the actions of evil spirits. This binding command
has been issued in response to a plea for help
from students at several Christian colleges in Florida. It is
not intended to harm in any way the persons of
anyone in Marilyn Manson. It is an attack solely on

(25:43):
this concert and is intended to cast these demons out
of the community of Orlando.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Only.

Speaker 11 (25:50):
With this command below, we now bind the demons and
evil spirits that surround the performance by Marilyn Manson. On
the fifteenth day of the eleventh month in the year
of Nice nineteen ninety six. O foul and evil spirits
who have brought the music group Marilyn Manson into Orlando,
and have consumed and possessed the bodies and minds of

(26:10):
all who are a part of the group or an
aid to their movements. By the power given us by
Jesus Christ and in His holy name, we hereby bind
the buses and the trucks that will bring Marilyn Manson
and their music into our community. We bind the engine
that makes the car run, and the fuel that makes
the engine run. We bind the lights and the amplifiers,

(26:33):
the microphones, and musical equipment needed for their vile and
blasphemous performance. We bind the mouth and hands and feet
of the members of Marilyn Manson, so that they cannot
so lies and spread discontent among our youth, or play
their musical instruments, or trespass on our community. In the
name of Jesus Christ, we bind these demons, and by

(26:56):
His hand we know they shall be bound. Our scriptural
authority for this action is as follows, Mark Chapter sixteen,
Verses fifteen through eighteen. King James version, and he said,
unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach
the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is

(27:20):
baptized shall be saved. But he that believeth not shall
be damned. And these signs shall follow. Them that believe
in my name. Shall they cast out devils. They shall
speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents, and
if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them.
They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

(27:43):
Prayer distributed by protesters before Marilyn Manson concert in Orlando, Florida,
November two, nineteen ninety six, New Jersey. There's something exciting
and terrifying about club shows and theater shows, but the
arena concert is oh Antichrist Superstar, and tonight seeing six

(28:04):
thousand people raise their fist to beautiful people is so nero,
so powerful, bombastic, fascistic rock and roll. It's disgusting and
I love it. November sixth, the nineteen ninety six, Washington, DC.
Twiggy and I called Trent no response. I don't know

(28:24):
what I did to be so hated. If it was
being myself, then I guess that's the price I have
to pay. It's behind me now. I hold no grudges.
I just wish the tension would be resolved. November fifteenth,
nineteen ninety six, Fort Lauderdale. It's funny because for the
past two years, Twiggy and I have listened to Doctor
Hook's cover of The Rolling Stone ritualistically, as if maybe

(28:48):
it would actually land us in the magazine, And strangely enough,
that interview came today. I'm not sure if the writer
was gay or not, so I did most of the
interview in the hot tub to confuse or excite him.
I think it did both. I informed him that this
would be one of the most important articles he would write,
and I know that to be true. November sixteenth, nineteen

(29:11):
ninety six, Fort Lauderdale. Our homecoming show was better than
I expected. I thought people would be negative and resentful
because they feel like I owe them something or they
knew me when, But in fact I never had a
lot of friends here because nobody ever really believed in
what I was trying to do. The only people I
feel I owe anything too are my parents for supporting

(29:31):
me when I didn't have a job. Anyone I may
have used should feel happy that they even had a
use better than being useless. November twenty third, nineteen ninety six,
South America. Tonight, we went to some bar in Santiago
and the floor was made out of plexiglass, and there
were weird lights shining out of it, and we got

(29:52):
really drunk on Chile and wine. Some bizarre character came
up to me and asked if I liked Ziggy Stardust,
that it was a great record. He seemed upset and
repeated the phrase Ziggy Stardust, making a sniffing noise. This
time he explains that he wanted to sell us a
bunch of hardcore South American cocaine. We hadn't really binged

(30:14):
on the dust since recording Antichrist Superstar. But when in Rome,
do as the Romans do, so we figured when in
South America, do as the South Americans do, and snored
a lot of hardcore cocaine. Someone said a bunch of
cops were outside in Chile. Cops aren't guys in blue
suits with night sticks. They're a squadron in a tank

(30:34):
with machine guns. Somehow we escaped. We stayed up all
night anyway, drinking wine and making people Snorre mysterious pink
dust a Roady bought in a park outside a death
metal concert. Of course, we had to fly in the morning,
which is where I'm writing this from on the plane,
and I feel sick. December third, nineteen ninety six, German.

(30:57):
Last night I left Twiggy at about six am. He
stayed up until about noon. All of the hair on
his forehead is missing. December nineteenth, nineteen ninety six, Day Off.
What happens someday? If more people own my record than
the Bible, will that make me God? Because more people
believe in me than Him? Because it's just about popularity.

(31:20):
There are plenty of people in the world who have
never heard of Jesus, while in America he's taken for granted.
The key to changing the way people think is to
change what's popular. That's why, rather than submit to the mainstream,
you have to become it and then overcome it. March nineteenth,
nineteen ninety seven, two Mississippi Coast Coliseum Commissioners, care of

(31:42):
Executive Director Bill Holmes, Dear Commissioners, I encourage you to
cancel the Marilyn Manson appearance at the Colosseum. I feel
that Manson's appearance and giving him a forum to spout
his poisoned philosophy is not in the best interest of
the Mississippi Coast community during this holiest of the Christian
seasons celebrating the risen christ. I believe that this controversy

(32:06):
is an affront to the tax paying citizens who built
and support the coliseum. In the interest of unity and
cohesion in the community, I ask that you take action
to cancel this concert. Sincerely, signature, Ken Colmes, Mayor. January fifth,
nineteen ninety seven. Tonight was my birthday. Too tired to

(32:29):
go into details, but you can be sure that since
Rolling Stone came out today, ironically we snorted lines off
my face on the cover as Doctor Hook played at
an ungodly volume. I told you so. Undated, tried to
call Trent again today. They gave us some lame excuse,
the same kind of excuse he would have us give

(32:49):
when he didn't want to accept calls from people he hated.
January sixteenth, nineteen ninety seven, on a highway somewhere. Shitty hotels,
shitty drugs, shitty shows with shittier after parties, shitty conversations,
shitty blow jobs, shitty buses, shitty bus rides, shitty fights,
shitty reconciliations, shitty television with shittier spectro vision, shitty gothic bars,

(33:14):
shitty interviews, shitty photo shoots, shitty Christians, shitty atheists, shitty
demo tapes, shitty moods, shitty food, shitty shit. January seventeenth,
nineteen ninety seven, Seattle, Jimmy has Wartz January twenty seventh,
nineteen ninety seven, seven am, Los Angeles tonight or this morning.

(33:37):
I can't get to sleep as usual, and I'm actually
feeling happy. Trent surprised us all and showed up at
our show. We hadn't talked to him, or he hadn't
wanted to talk to us since we finished the album.
Right after the show, I was taking a shower and
he came into the room and it was just like
old times. We hugged, we were joking around, and it
was a total Holocaust night. We were totally high, and

(34:00):
we had quiet Riot play at our aftershow party at
the Dragonfly. I think we reunited them, just like we
did WASP. We take sole responsibility for the return of
retro heavy metal, and I'm ashamed, but I digress. What
happened was Trent and I walked down on the balcony
of the hotel room later that night and I just
said to him, whatever happened, happened. Let's just put it

(34:23):
behind us. I don't care. And then he said, well,
just for the record, I didn't. He defended himself for
about an hour. I defended myself for an hour. Then
we told each other, listen, it doesn't matter. It's over.
I don't care, it doesn't matter, and we meant it.
Everything that had happened was necessary for the birth of
Antichrist Superstar. It was a difficult birth, but it was

(34:46):
worth it. So supposedly everything is fine now. I hope
it is. January twenty ninth, nineteen ninety seven, San Diego,
seven am a horrendous night. Daniel from Bauhaus and Love
and Rockets knocked on my hotel room door and wanted
to hang out, which seems strange since we'd never even

(35:07):
talked before. Twiggy had lines of coke out in my
room and Daniel lash was with an entourage of six people.
None of them touched the drugs. They just kept putting
their drinks on the tabletop. The drugs were on. I
was getting sick because I was kissing Daniel Ash's ass,
telling him what a big influence his guitar playing was
on me, and he was kissing mine, telling me he

(35:28):
wanted to remix a Marilyn Manson song. Then out of nowhere,
he turned on me. He hissed something like, I don't
believe in what you do, and I think it's a
bunch of bullshit. I don't know about your music, but
your message. I worked with someone who hung out with
you for a couple of days and they told me
what you were all about. The rest of the band
was totally cool. Kevin Haskins, the drummer, asked me for

(35:51):
my autograph, and David Jay is just a weird, creepy
lizard man. Daniel Lash's girlfriend kept trying to shut him up,
but he wouldn't. I've been you are, and I don't
ever want to be there again. It's a hot trip
to heaven, That's what my album was about. You're never
going anywhere. I think it was under the impression that
we worshiped the devil and advocated rape, probably from those phony,

(36:13):
fucking affidavits, and he ended up chewing us out and
ordering room service all night. A total skitzo and another
idol forever shattered, outrageous kill your parents on t shirts.
Each age has to have at least one brave individual
that tried to bring an end to Christianity. No one

(36:35):
has managed to succeed yet, but maybe through music we
can do it. I am the all American Antichrist. Indecent
exposure on stage, obscenities beyond description, kill God, props, lyrics
and ideas too far out even for MTV without editing
totally offensive, as described by their own writer singer. These

(37:00):
are the quotes, actions, merchandise of Marilyn Manson and his
rock metal group of the same name, appearing at the
Fitchburg Civic Center on February twenty first. Disgusted to join
us at a protest Civic Center February fifteenth, five fifty pm.
At Fitchburg City Council meeting Tuesday, February eighteenth, seven thirty pm,

(37:23):
Our kids need your participation, paid for by Mass State
Council Knights of Columbus, February fourth, nineteen ninety seven, Lubbock, Texas.
God has somehow managed to find his way into the
hippocratic oath because the paramedics here refused to treat me
with oxygen for exhaustion after our performance, explaining that they

(37:45):
didn't agree with my morality, therefore I didn't deserve their
emergency life preserving skills. Apparently Jesus saves that the paramedics
here don't. February seventh, nineteen ninety seven, Kansas. I'm not
sure what I hate more, the bomb threats or the
bomb dogs that are trying to save us, because those
happen to be the same dogs that sniff out drugs,

(38:08):
and I don't know whether I'm more paranoid of getting
blown up or arrested. February fourteenth, nineteen ninety seven. I
lost the last connection with my past today, Missy. The
fact that I wasn't with her today must have symbolized
my priorities to her, and she doesn't want.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
To speak to me.

Speaker 11 (38:26):
Will always be close because she has a part of
me inside her, but it's a part of me I
no longer have, and it was the darkest part of
me too. I hope it doesn't cripple her the rest
of her life. February nineteenth, nineteen ninety seven, Massachusetts. I
can't decide if I hate America more than it hates me.

(38:47):
February twenty first, nineteen ninety seven, Massachusetts. Another shitty show.
Now I can't decide if America hates me more than
I hate myself undated. The ironic part about all this
Christian outrage is that on certain levels, this tour pales
compared to some of the things that we've done in
the past. The Christians are complaining about the way I

(39:09):
compare them to Nazis. They're not complaining about me tearing
up the Bible. They're not complaining about me wiping my
ass with the American flag. I don't know what's more ridiculous.
The stories they've created are the fact that people believe them.
If I didn't commit those acts, then where did they
come from? Nowhere other than the imagination of my accusers.

(39:30):
So who's the sinner now? March nineteen ninety seven, New York.
I met Fiona Apple at the Grammy Awards after party
the other night. She's this little singer who no one's
heard of. I'm a huge fan of her music. She's
so sexy and fragile, definitely too fragile for me. If
I was ever to be put in a circumstance where

(39:52):
I could have sex with her, I would decline because
her vagina is probably too precious to be dirtied by
my filthy cock. When she walked in the room, they
were blasting the song we did for Lost Highway Apple
of Sodom, and the lyric playing was I Got Something
you Can Never Eat. Total delusional self, because that song

(40:12):
is about obsession and things you can never have, and
in a distant way, is kind of inspired by her.
She was slouched over and looked very timid, almost like
a wounded deer, as if she was about to cry.
I asked her what's wrong, and she said she was
overwhelmed and show business was too much stress for a
girl of her age with her constitution. I asked her

(40:34):
to sit down and said I'd bring her some food
or a drink, but she was a vegan and, unlike me,
was really picky about what she'd put into her body,
which definitely means we'll never get along, even though I'm
attracted to her on many different levels. When I was
speaking with her, I was distracted for two seconds by
some celebrities drunk teenage daughter who was bouncing around singing

(40:54):
songs and talking about the various rock stars who had
made her pregnant another starfucker and sick of sucking the
life out of me and distracting me from the conversation
that I want to have. When I turned back around,
this weird fellow had kind of slithered his way up
to Fiona and was performing card tricks for her. Really
lame in the book of Shitty Ways to pick Up Women.

(41:16):
This was chapter one, but I think it worked. Affi
David of name withheld, State of Oklahoma, County of Oklahoma.
I name withheld hereby swear a firm declare and a
fit one. I am a seventeen year old male and
reside at address withheld Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, ZIP withheld two

(41:43):
three years ago. I was a runaway fourteen year old
when I first met Marilyn Manson Brian Warner and was
accepted by him into his circle of friends or family.
Over the course of the past three years, I have
spent periods of time with Manson on twenty specific periods
of time, the most recent being two months ago. I
did see him last month briefly. Three I have been

(42:07):
present in the concert venues, both in the audience and
backstage and behind the scenes. At many Manson concerts, including
the current Antichrist Superstar Tour six times four, each concert
starts out a little bit different, but most of the
time there is a light show. Before the concert starts.
Manson will come out on stage by himself dragging a

(42:29):
big bag, either just before the band starts playing, or
the band will start jamming and then stop abruptly as
Manson comes out with the big bag. I have witnessed
Manson pull out small chickens, several puppies, and kittens out
of the bag and throw them into the audience. These
are live animals. I know because I helped to get
some of these animals from the dog pound for Manson.

(42:52):
Manson will then tell the audience to make a sacrifice
to the music, and he will not start the show
until all the animals are dead. I witnessed the crowd
ripping the animals apart, pulling body parts of the torso
of the animals, they would bleed to death or they
would be smashed into the ground. Manson told me they
represent the killing of innocence. I have seen this animal truck,

(43:15):
which is like a pickup truck with a camper top
on the back with cages full of different animals for
concert sacrifices. I had gone with name withheld a friend
who runs lights and sound for the concert, to get
twelve puppies, but Manson had many animals already in the truck.
Manson always has the crowd kill the puppies so innocent
blood will be on their hands before he does the concert.

(43:39):
Six the concerts I've been to are tightly controlled by
manson security guards. No police are ever allowed into the
concert area. If a police officer happens to get by
a guard, Manson is instantly notified through his headset he wears.
Manson has a team he calls his private Santa Clauses.
They come at the crowd from the sides and throw

(43:59):
out back a pot and cocaine throughout the entire audience,
front to back. Everyone attending the concert gets so high
that it saturates the auditorium. All of the security guards
are very clean cut looking. Manson always comes to town
giving the idea that this will be a very innocent
rock and roll show to the press and the general public.

(44:21):
Continued March nineteen ninety seven, New York asked Fiona to
come to the premiere of Howard Stern's Private Parts with Me.
He uses a song of ours in the movie. In
some ways, I think Howard Stern and I are very
similar because he just says what's on his mind and
it pisses a lot of people off, but it also
entertains them. I consider him one of the people responsible

(44:43):
for breaking sweet Dreams because he really pushed it. I
thought Fiona was going to blow me off because she
launched into the kind of drawn out story about visiting
a long lost relative that I would make up if
I wanted to get out of doing something. But you
just called back and she's gonna go. I don't know
if this makes me gay or not, but I think
she would be interesting to be friends with. March nineteen

(45:05):
ninety seven, New York. In true rock star form, I
picked up Fiona to go to Private Parts in a
white limo, and in true anti rockstar form, she came
out makeup lists with uncombed hair. This was my first celebrity,
big deal event, and I didn't know how to behave
at all. There was this red carpet and apparently you

(45:27):
were supposed to walk down it and let people take
photos of you. But I was kind of confused. I
walked down a few steps, thought I was going the
wrong way, then came back to the car. Then somebody
told me that I was supposed to be walking on
the red carpet, so I went halfway down, then got
scared because I didn't know if I was supposed.

Speaker 8 (45:45):
To stop or not.

Speaker 11 (45:47):
Meanwhile, a bunch of media cornered Fiona and she got
mixed up doing an interview with Flavor Flave. I couldn't
take it anymore. I was so aggravated. It's not my
scene to sit around and schmooze with a bunch of
assholes who don't know who you are, but like they do.
Fiona decided she was gonna leave, and I wasn't really
even disappointed, because I felt bad for how overwhelmed she was.

(46:09):
I went upstairs with Twiggy, who was with us, and
ran into Flavor Flav. We high fived and we danced around.
I couldn't see his eyes, but if I could have,
he probably would have been giving me the wink that
people who used drugs give to one another, whether it's
for real or it's in your mind. I was impressed
with the fact that he didn't know who Marilyn Manson was,

(46:29):
though I'm not sure if he even knew who he was,
because he was definitely out of his fucking head at
that point. I ran into Billy Corgan and I immediately
gave him some muscle relaxance I had in my pocket.
We decided that they made us feel fruity, and then
we decided that that would be a great name for
a band to start together. So we began having a long,
in depth meeting inspired by the Fruity drug to create

(46:52):
a fruit filled experience called Fruity, which will probably never
happen because I don't know where I put those pills.
That Billy was cool because I thought he'd be a
total asshole from all the spiritual hate mail I had
gotten over the years from Trent, who allegedly despises Billy
over an alleged conflict allegedly dealing with Courtney because when
Trent allegedly fucked Courtney, which he says he didn't, Billy

(47:16):
allegedly fucked Trend's alleged girlfriend, which he allegedly says he did,
or so I'm told. Then I tried to give the
Fruity pills to Conan O'Brien, telling him they were Prozac,
and he looked like he could use them. He just
smiled with that weird, creepy babyhead of his and walked
away to talk to a friend. I gave him the
finger and he just laughed. It's amazing the things you

(47:38):
can get away with when something looks wrong with one
of your eyes, you have badly applied makeup. You're six
foot three, and you're accompanied by some weirdo with the
front of his head shaved, who looks like a cross
between Gregory Hines and a Klingon on crack undergoing radiation therapy.
If you're reading this, Twiggy, I'm sorry then I think
we ran into Tom Arnold, who was all sweaty and

(47:59):
anxious and rap and basically looked like he was on
speed of some sort. I asked him where the drugs were,
because I was giving him that same wink that I
had imagined exchanging with Flavor Flave earlier, and he just
joked sh and I said, all right, well call me,
continued AffA. David continued. Seven. I witnessed Manson pull out

(48:24):
his private body part and play with it openly in
front of the crowd. It's his penis. He plays with
not anything artificial. I have witnessed him go over to
his female guitar player, who is usually totally naked, and
play with her private part in front of the crowd.
Manson always exposed himself in each concert, and the female
is always nude in every concert. Eight I have witnessed

(48:48):
Manson band members performing anal intercourse on each other on
stage in front of the crowd. Nine I have witnessed
various band members come over to Manson and perform oral
sex on Manson throughout the course of the concert. Ten
I have witnessed Manson pull members of the crowd on stage,
or his security guards will bring an audience member on

(49:10):
stage and strip all of their clothes off. Manson will
then play with them in a sexual way. They are
then usually taken backstage, where Manson will do anything he
feels like doing with them. When he is off stage,
Manson will take as many females from the audience as
he can all throughout the concert. I have witnessed some
females who were fighting to heap the guards from taking

(49:31):
them on stage. I believe it was clearly against their will,
but most of the females were thrilled to have Manson
take them for sex. Eleven, I witnessed Manson bring a
little boy up on stage who was celebrating his tenth birthday,
Manson saying happy birthday to him, and then had this
little boy stand on stage while Manson performed sexual acts,

(49:53):
including oral sex, while asking the little boy if he
would like to do this and would he like to
do this? Twelve, I witnessed the security guards throwing out
dozens of condoms into the crowd while Manson ordered the
crowd to have sex with anyone. I have witnessed members
of the audience having sexual intercourse and performing other sex
acts at every concert I've been to with Manson. I

(50:16):
believe about thirty percent of the Manson concert crowd participate
in open, overt sexual activity. At an average Manson concert,
I have witnessed rapes. At most concerts, the crowd gets
into a frenzy and females are held down against their
will and raped many times as Manson prods them. On thirteen,

(50:37):
I witnessed the Manson security guards giving liquid ecstasy to children,
and as those children nine ten eleven years old were
affected by the love potion drug, they became willing to
have sex I have witnessed children having sex in the
audience at Marilyn Manson concerts. Fourteen. I have witnessed Manson

(50:58):
masturbating on stage for the crowd and then ejaculate into
the crowd. Fifteen. I have witnessed Manson perform a Satanic
church service toward the end of the concert, in which
he preaches from the Satanic Bible and books called Orange Magic,
Green Magic, and Black Magic. The length he preaches depends

(51:19):
on how high he is at the time. Manson gives
an invitation to receive Satan into your life, and a
hypnotic voice comes over the sound system saying you must
go forward to the altar. This whole area is where
the mosh pit was. He opens the whole front up.
This invitation is especially potent because by that time one

(51:39):
percent of the audience is high continued New York continued.
As I was trying to walk downstairs, someone pulled me
aside and said, come do this interview. So me, Billy, Twiggy,
and Billy's girlfriend walked over to this couch where Howard
Stern was broadcasting from Joan Rivers was standing across from us.

(52:03):
It was loud and chaotic and no one could hear
anything anyone was saying except us because we had headphones on.
Joan Rivers was holding up a sign that said I
need to talk to you, so I felt like I
had to explain what was going on to Howard because
it was all being filmed for television. I joked that
Joan had given me a blowjob in the bathroom and
now she was stalking me, and I couldn't get rid

(52:24):
of her because she wanted to give me another sloppy
blowjob or something. I motioned for her to come over,
and she came over and got down on her knees
in front of me to beg for an interview. But
it looked like she was supporting my claim. Except for
those beanbag tits, she's not bad looking for her age.
Since she couldn't understand what we were saying, we continued
to humiliate her until we got bored. We were just

(52:48):
standing around afterwards, when all of a sudden, I saw
walking towards me this blonde, tan girl, the antithesis of
what I looked for in a woman in a bright
canary yellow dress that she must have had to wear
as some kind of car retribution for something she had
done in a past life. Though she was not the
kind of girl you'd want to hold hands with in public,
the fact that she was attractive shown through all. This

(53:10):
flashed before my eyes in the first few seconds. Because
I decide if I'm going to like somebody before they
even mention their name. I have a bad habit of
not remembering people's names when they say them. I'm usually
too busy analyzing them, trying to read their intentions and
determine if they're out to fuck me or get fucked,
if they want drugs or have drugs. If I can't

(53:32):
think of anything else that's important in life. So this
Canary woman asked for my autograph because she's a really
big fan. A little annoyed at being interrupted, I quickly
dashed off an autograph, but as I did, everyone was
looking at me funny, like I was fucking someone's mother
or shitting in the punch bowl. Afterwards, some guy came
up to me and told me that the woman was

(53:54):
Jenna Jamison. I asked him who Jenna Jamison was, and
he said that she was the most famous pornos. Right now,
in the back of my head, I thought about my
acid trip experience in Fort Lauderdale and the fact that
Tracy Lord's had actually been up for the part of
a seductress in the Howard Stern movie. She asked if
she could sit with me during the movie. She seemed
real innocent or she was a good actress. And we

(54:16):
walked to the theater assaulted by so many paparazzi flashbulbs
that for a minute I really felt like I was
back on that acid trip in my bathroom with the
flashing lights, I got scared for a moment, but the
fruity pills calmed me down. When I sat down. In
front of me was Kevin Bacon, Behind me was Sherman Helmsley,
and walking across the room was Corey Feldtman, a name

(54:39):
that ironically one of my bandmates was staying under at
the hotel. I was always amused by Corey Feldman. He
was a great actor and stand by me when he
had the deformed year and went around saying, Jeordie screwed
the pooch. Jeordie screwed the pooch. I always said that
to Jordie, especially when he did screw the pooch, who
in some cases could be considered Courtney. I probably shouldn't

(55:02):
write this, since if anybody doesn't up stealing this journal
and trying to destroy it, it'll probably be Courtney. Corey
was in a pseudo Michael Jackson sort of outfit that
made him look stupider than any of his movies had
ever made him look, and that's hard to achieve, especially
after Dream a Little Dream, Part five. I felt like
it was my duty to introduce Corey Feldman to Sherman Helmsley,

(55:24):
since I had known their artwork for so long. In
order to shake hands, they had to reach over the
head of Billy Corgan, so his bold head became the
bridge over which two fallen heroes of my childhood, mister
Jefferson and Dorky the vampire slayer met. I continued to
torment Corey afterwards, putting lipstick on him and introducing him

(55:45):
to strangers, because it is my duty to punch below
the belt. I told him I was a big fan
of the rap song that I saw him perform on television,
which was among the shittiest songs ever recorded, yet still
not cool enough by far to be the worst thing
I had ever heard. Affidavit continued sixteen. I witnessed manson

(56:07):
call for the virgin sacrifice, in which all the children
in the concert arena are pushed forward by the crowd
to be dedicated to Satan. Seventeen. I witnessed Manson sharing
from the Satanic Bible, pronouncing some words over the ones
who have come or been pushed forward, and then Manson
pours Pig's blood over everyone who has been in this group.

(56:29):
Then Manson calls forth his priests to minister to each
person and they take names, addresses, and phone numbers for
continued contact. Manson hands out Satanic Bibles and addresses of
Satanic churches they should go to.

Speaker 7 (56:44):
Eighteen.

Speaker 11 (56:45):
During the concert, I witnessed Manson bring underaged teenagers fourteen, fifteen, sixteen,
seventeen out on stage and put them into a cage.
The cage is then put out into the audience and
Manson wants the crowd to beat on those inside the cage.
These children are part of Manson Tour nineteen. I have

(57:07):
been on Manson's special tour bus a half dozen times
and have witnessed underage girls and some boys striped naked
and handcuffed to the bus seats. Every time I've been
on the bus. The faces are different. I have seen
some of those faces on television as missing children or runaways.
Twenty I witnessed a videotape that Manson played for me

(57:30):
in November of nineteen ninety six. He called it his
Bloodbath Video. The video showed Manson playing a guitar. Surrounding
him were people playing a vampire game in which they
started biting each other's necks. Then one man came out
of the group and stabbed a female several times. Then
about ten other people came over to the bleeding female

(57:51):
and literally scooped up blood from her body and bathed
in the blood. They covered their bodies with the blood.
This was offered as a sacrifice to Satan. They all
looked like they were drugged, and the female victim that
was killed seemed willing to die. Twenty one. This experience
with the bloodbath video made me fear for my own safety,

(58:12):
and I became so scared I decided I must get
away from these people. They have sent me a half
dozen tickets and backstage passes to the Oklahoma City concert
on February fifth, nineteen ninety seven. They do not know
I've turned my life around and I am now fully
involved at name withheld, and have given my life to
the Lord Jesus Christ. Twenty two. I witnessed Marilyn Manson

(58:36):
bring a sheep out on stage, and from my viewpoint
from the stage, I saw Manson perform sexual intercourse on
the sheep. Twenty three Further, your affiant saith not executed
this twenty first day of January nineteen ninety seven. Name withheld,
Address withheld. Fake and diffamatory Affies David distributed by the

(59:01):
American Family Association, New York continued. When the movie started,
Jenna Jamison kept making comments like, well, what are we
going to do later? Are we going to go out
to a bar? Are we going to hang out? You know,
I stripped dance to your music. Wow, I can't believe
that I'm really sitting here with you. She had a

(59:22):
whole catalog of different I'm a whore, I'm a virgin,
I'm your mom, I'm your daughter lines. She had all
kinds of fuck me doll looks. She pulled out the
entire contents of her seduction bag of tricks. There's a
scene in the film where Howard is sitting with a
famous B movie girl at a theater and she puts
her hand on his leg. At the same time, Jenna

(59:42):
put her hand on my leg, which completely freaked me
out because the part that Tracy Lord's was originally supposed
to play in the film was that b movie actress.
Jenna's hand slowly started to creep up toward my crotch,
and since I wasn't on coke, I had a heart
on I probably could have gotten one any because she
had some sort of magical touch to her fingertips. After

(01:00:04):
the film, we rode to the Whiskey bar in my limo.
She had a friend with her that nobody wanted to
talk to because she wasn't a porn star and the
fact that she wasn't wearing a yellow dress didn't help
her from not being as attractive as Jenna. Maybe Jenna
had borne the yellow dress at a friendship like a
golfing handicap to diminish her powers. At the bar, we

(01:00:24):
sat between Billy Corgan and Rick Ruben. Somehow Jenna had
my jacket on her lap and she put my hand
up her skirt to show me that she wasn't wearing
any underwear. So I was sitting there with my hand
inside her trying to convince Billy Corgan on my left
that if he wore a yellow shirt with a black
zigzag across it, he would be Charlie Brown. But I
was so drunk and high that Rick Ruben's beard seemed

(01:00:47):
like a cloud covering the whole room. Everybody had his beard.
I looked around, and Jenna had the beard. I felt
the beard under her skirt. All of a sudden, Billy
Corgan had a full head of hair made out of
Rick Ruben's beard. The Zezi Toop showed up in the
eliminator car and a bunch of hot girls got out.
They were all people I had fucked, and they all

(01:01:07):
had beards. I got stressed out, and I was having
a bit of an episode, and I didn't know where
my finger was. When I removed it, I was too
scared to look at it or smell it, because if
it was good, I would want to make Billy smell it,
and if it was bad, I didn't want it to
ruin the pleasant evening I was anticipating, So I just
avoided it altogether, sitting on my hand so the smell

(01:01:28):
wouldn't waft back in the limo. I asked if she
wanted to go back to my room. But she said
she had someone waiting for her at her hotel. Then
she had some kind of secret dialogue with her friend
in Urdu or Old Dutch or sign language or hieroglyphics.
What I discovered through my years of linguistic and archaeological
research into women's codes was that she was married and

(01:01:50):
her husband was waiting for her, which was fantastic and
made me want or more.

Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
So.

Speaker 11 (01:01:56):
She came back with me, of course, and I recalled
from the film that the character who was supposed to
be played by Tracy Lords made Howard Stern get in
the baptub with her, so I thought, why not. The
only other thing I can remember from that night is
that she had a tattoo on her ass that said heartbreaker.
But then again, everyone in America who has ever watched

(01:02:16):
any of her films knows that, so maybe it was
all a dream. But if it was a dream, it
was a wet one. March eleventh, nineteen ninety seven, Japan.
I feel like someone I wouldn't let my own daughter fuck,
and I feel like someone who if I was that daughter,
I would want to fuck more than anyone else undated.

(01:02:39):
I'm so fucking sick of people saying, we have T
shirts that say kill your parents and kill a dog.
What the T shirt actually says is warning. The music
of Marilyn Manson may contain messages that will kill God
in your impressionable teenage minds. As a result, you could
be convinced to kill your mom and dad, and eventually,

(01:02:59):
in a hopeless act of suicidal rock and roll behavior,
you will kill yourself. Continued, Marilyn Manson will commit suicide
on his Halloween concert by blowing up the venue and
everyone in it. Marilyn Manson had three ribs removed so
he can suck his own dick. I heard that he
gives himself a blowjob on stage and spits the come

(01:03:20):
out on the crowd. I also heard that at a
recent show, they came on to stage with the two
ribs that he had supposedly removed and used them as drumsticks.

Speaker 8 (01:03:30):
Is this true?

Speaker 11 (01:03:31):
I heard my friend say that Manson killed his wife
because she was pregnant. Then he took out the baby
named Lucifer Satan Damien LSD and put it in an
abortion crib. Manson was Paul on The Wonder Years. Manson
was Winnie Cooper on the Wonder Years. Manson was a
little kid on Mister Belvidere. I heard that Marilyn Manson

(01:03:53):
was the guy on the Wonder Years, but then started
his own rumor and said he wasn't just to throw
people off. Daisy and Zimzum are the same people, but
Manson thought it would get him more publicity if he
got a new guitarist. Marilyn Manson is actually the son
slash daughter of Charles Manson and Marilyn Monroe. I heard

(01:04:14):
that Marilyn Manson is a member of a cannibal group
and he really is black and he bleached his skin.
Marilyn just got breast in plants. I know it's true.
I read it in a magazine. Manson is really a woman.
She dresses like a man only to have sex with
other women. Marilyn Manson started as a Sygon kick side project.

(01:04:35):
Marilyn Manson cut one of his toes off so that
he could inject heroin directly into the veins of the stump.
He got his penis tattooed black. The only reason Trent
produced mm's first album is because Manson gives such good head.
A girl said mister Manson had sex with a pig
in one of the videos. Now, I've never seen that one.

(01:04:56):
People at my school say that the Reverend removed pigment
from his left die so that he could see black
and white. A girl that I work with told me
that Marilyn Manson sold his right eye to the devil
and that is why he wears red makeup underneath his eye.
Marilyn Manson had his girlfriend's eye removed so he could
fuck her in it. Marilyn Manson's grandfather used to rape

(01:05:19):
him when he was little, and when he told someone
about it, his grandfather ripped out his eye. Zimzum joined
the band just to get in bed with Manson. Daisy
and Manson were lovers, but Manson left him for Twiggy
because Twiggy is anatomically superior to Daisy. I once heard
that Rev after an interview, went on stage and pulled

(01:05:40):
a coke bottle out of his ass. The Rev was
making cutting motions across his neck with a knife and
accidentally cut too deep, severing his windpipe. Twiggy held his
throat together for him so he could breathe until the
paramedics got there. Manson either killed or had sex with
a cat. I can't remember which it was I think

(01:06:00):
killed Marilyn. Manson also fucked a donkey at the ass
on stage the same night he swallowed a cat hole.
Manson wanted to run for president, but missed some sort
of deadline. He chopped the feet off a hamster. Rumors
posted by fans on the internet. Undated continued, so please

(01:06:25):
burn your records while they're still hope. Can't they see
him trying to help them. I've said a million times
that if more stupid people killed themselves over stupid songs,
there would be less stupid people in the world. I
haven't even sold that shirt in four years. Besides t
shirts and music, people don't kill people. Poor upbringing does.

(01:06:46):
If someone wants to blame art, why are kids taught
to read Romeo and Juliet in school? Here's a story
about kids killing each other for one very important reason
their parents didn't understand them. Undated. If I'd really gotten
my ribs removed, I would have been busy sucking my
own dick on the Wonder Years instead of chasing Winnie Cooper. Besides,

(01:07:08):
I wouldn't have sucked other people's dicks on stage either.
I would have been sucking my own. Plus, it really
has time to be killing puppies when you can be
sucking your own dick. I think I'm gonna call a
surgeon in the morning. Undated last night, or rather this morning.
Some skangy whore in her forties who was convinced she
was in her teens and claimed to be Anthony Keatus's cousin,

(01:07:30):
or Billy Corgan's sister, or Shaquille O'Neill's mother, came onto
our bus. She was with some goofy tan girl with
braces who looked like she could have been her daughter.
Neither of them looked good, but they were entertaining because
they were so blind to their own white trash qualities.
So we let them stay and managed to convince them
to snort a packet of sea monkey powder. Strangely enough,

(01:07:53):
it was white and came with a small spoon, not
unlike cocaine. I didn't even have to use fall pretenses
to persuade them to do this. I actually read them
the training manual, explaining that these small creatures are actually
Brian shrimp and that they will go on to grow
inside their bodies for a year. I told them that
nothing could be more exciting than having these small creatures

(01:08:15):
flowing through their bloodstream, not to mention the unknown high
that might await them. Surprisingly, they did it eagerly, and
I shamefully spent the night talking to this gag who
tried to masturbate me while a video of Doom Generation
was playing in the background. I wished, for a moment
the girl in the movie, Rose McGowan, was here, and

(01:08:36):
maybe I would let her masturbate me. I remember reading
an interview with Rose about her fucked up childhood and
her father, who was the leader of some religious cult.
For some reason, I feel like she would be able
to relate to what I'm going through, not at the moment,
but in general. To nobody's surprise, Twiggy ended up fucking
brace Face in his bunk. I'm so ashamed to be

(01:08:57):
a part of this band. April sixth, nineteen ninety seven,
Normal Illinois. I'll kill anyone who thinks this town is
anyone's idea of normal. It lets me know that there's
a lot of work still for me to do, but
I'm kind of proud of what we've accomplished so far
on this tour. I really wanted to do that totalitarian shock,

(01:09:17):
simple thing to create a part of the show that
resembled a fascist rally, to make a statement about things
I'm against, like religion and in some ways rock and roll,
because rock and roll can be just as blind as Christianity.
At the same time, I wanted to create a giant
piece of performance art that said that despite everything that's
happened with the media and people trying to ban our shows,

(01:09:39):
I did this and I got away with it. How
did Bowie get away with lyrics about the spicks, the
blacks and the faggy bars. It's because he's in character
and he's criticizing a certain type of person Antichrist superstar.
Isn't that at all? It's what everybody feels in their hearts,
but it's too afraid to say it's honest. It's not

(01:09:59):
picking on on any one person. It's picking on everybody,
including myself. We're all hypocrites. But by admitting it, you
transcend it, and it no longer becomes a personality defect,
as it is in the people who blindly cling to
their own self righteousness. By knowing all this, you grow
from it. I've grown from it. I will never admit

(01:10:20):
this to anyone, but I'll write it here. The reason
I haven't copped out in an interview and said, yeah,
it's just a character, this is just a concept album
is because to me it is so much more. But
in a sense it is. That's why when people ask, well,
is it an act or isn't it, it's both. I mean,

(01:10:41):
my whole life is an act, but that's my art.
This is perhaps the sickest group ever promoted by a
mainstream record company. Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut from what
I have learned of the content of their lyrics and message,
as well as their conduct on stage, Marilyn man and
are clearly bent on degrading women, religion, and decency while

(01:11:04):
promoting Satanic worship, child abuse, and drug use. These people
are peddling garbage. It's further proof that society's moral values
continue to crumble. Governor Frank Keating of Oklahoma on concert
at the State Fairgrounds. I think it's time that people
protest Marilyn Manson all over the nation. This thing is

(01:11:25):
the most degrading. It incites people to murder, to rape,
saying that date rape is no big deal in an
era where we're so concerned about sexual harassment, it's unbelievable.
Yet this is going to the top of the heap,
and Rolling Stone says how creative they are? What kind
of creativity is this? Pat robertson the seven hundred Club.

(01:11:47):
Many people know the debauchery Marilyn Manson represents sodomy, satomasochism,
youth pornography, Satanism and the like. It is clearly disturbing, threatening,
and sickening to many Minnesotans. We deserve better as a community.
We hope you will adopt some more reasonable standards for
the cultural events you sponsor in the future. In addition,

(01:12:08):
we believe a public apology for subjecting the Twin Cities
to Marilyn Manson would be in order. Letter from the
Minnesota Family Council to the Best Buy Corporation. We're fighting
for God against Satan. Florence Hencel letter to Utica City
Council on concert at Utica Auditorium. I don't normally interfere

(01:12:31):
with the free enterprise style, but in this case, I
can't fathom anybody being asked to pay for tickets to
see this Bill Alderman Ray Clark of Calgary on concert
at Maxbell Center. I was not even aware of a
group called Marilyn Manson until about two or three weeks ago,
when all of a sudden, our office and my home

(01:12:51):
have been inundated with phone calls with concerns about this
concert that's performing this evening in Wings Stadium and Kalamazoo.
Their message is to kill God, kill your parents, and
then commit suicide. I handed out to all my colleagues
and article about what mister Manson confesses that he's done
as far as on the stage, from sexual types of

(01:13:11):
acts to a number of vulgar types of things that
promote violence in our society. And I'm very concerned about that.
So with that, we put a resolution together that anyone
under eighteen years of age be accompanied by their parents.
We received about ten thousand signatures just in the Kalamazoo
area that are against this concert. Senator Dale Sugars of

(01:13:34):
Michigan undated. Just got a phone call from my father.
He was watching Real Stories of the Highway Patrol and
said that on the show they caught a guy they
had been chasing across Ohio. When they pulled him over,
they found a trunk full of guns. He was a
twenty five year old Christian fanatic with missing teeth, and
he said he was going to Florida to kill the Antichrist.

(01:13:57):
The episode had been taped the same week we just
played in Florida. April nineteen ninety seven. I am enclosing
the napkin on which I drafted a statement I had
to make on MTV about our show being canceled against
our will in South Carolina. Once again, the so called
servants of God have proven my point with their hypocritical

(01:14:18):
and hostile behavior, and once again they have illustrated their
lack of separation between church and state and their disgusting
similarities to Nazi Germany. Unfortunately, everyone suffers. We suffer, our
fans suffer, the constitution of the USA suffers, and the
pious right wing politicians of South Carolina suffer because everyone

(01:14:40):
now sees them for the fascist idiots they are. What
do we expect in a state that still flies the
Confederate flag? You want a revolution, you'll get it. May tenth,
nineteen ninety seven, just found out that one of my roadies,
Sean mcghn, died last night. He had been drinking and

(01:15:00):
was trying to repel down the catwalk, but he forgot
to attach the ropes. I know it's not my fault,
but I can't help feeling that it somehow is, because
if it wasn't for me, he'd still be alive. Maybe
I've lived a sheltered life because outside of my dog Alusha,
this is really the first person close to me who
has died. It makes me wonder what I was thinking

(01:15:22):
years ago when I tried to kill Nancy and our
old bassist Brad. Trying to kill them would have been pointless.
Nature takes its own course. It's social Darwinism. People get
what they deserve. But did Sean really deserve that Mother's
day back lounge six am. I called my mother today

(01:15:43):
and realized really for the first time how shitty I
had acted as a kid, and how much abuse I
had given her. If it weren't for her tolerance and
unconditional love and support, I wouldn't have gotten this far.
I told her I loved her, and she said she
already knew that. If she didn't, her pride would have
convinced her of it. Anyway. I've been seeing a lot
of my father lately too. He comes to a lot

(01:16:06):
of the shows. He seems to enjoy the attention more
than I do. He goes around telling people that he's
the father of the god of Fuck. I think now
that we understand each other, our relationship has become so
much better than it was when I was a kid.
I guess when people began to accept what I did,
my parents began to accept it as well. May twenty ninth,

(01:16:27):
nineteen ninety seven, Paris. I talked to Snoop Doggie Dog today. Well,
I'm not sure if you could really call it talked,
because I could hardly understand a word he was saying.
But I think what he was trying to communicate was
that he wanted to work with me in some sort
of capacity and something involving marijuana. June fifteenth, nineteen ninety seven,

(01:16:49):
New York. With the help of our civil rights lawyer,
Paul Cambria, we won our case against the State of
New Jersey and we were able to perform on the
oz Fest at Giant Stadium today, despite the objections of
the stadium's management. It's funny because I saw the Larry
Flint movie the other day and my friend Edward Norton,
Courtney's boyfriend, played a composite of Paul and several other

(01:17:12):
lawyers who worked on the Hustler case. Despite the fact
that the story was on the news every five minutes,
I'm not sure the crowd knew or even cared there
was a case. We smashed everything, including ourselves, out of
frustration at their apathy. I ended up slashing myself pretty badly,
and paramedics won't stitch you on the spot for insurance reasons.

(01:17:32):
They wanted me to go to the hospital, but I
stayed backstage and got drunk with Pantera. We talked about
the first time I hung out with Dimebag Daryl continued.
Currently before the court is an application to enjoin the
New Jersey Sports Exhibition Authority NJSCA from presenting the Ozveest

(01:17:53):
ninety seven concert, which includes performer Marilyn Manson, from being
held at Giant Stadium on June fifteenth, nineteen ninety seven.
Marilyn Manson is a heavy metal band that the NJSA
has deemed objectionable. Marilyn Manson's right of passage to perform
at Giants Stadium is now impeded by roadblocks created by

(01:18:13):
the collision between well established constitutional and contractual principles. On
April eighteenth, nineteen ninety seven, the NJSA issued a news
release entitled Statement of the New Jersey Sports Authority Management
regarding Marilyn Manson and the Ozfest concert. The announcement indicated
that Marilyn Manson would be prohibited from performing at Giants

(01:18:35):
Stadium and canceled the Osfest event due to the inclusion
of Marilyn Manson. The NJSA has indicated that it excluded
Marilyn Manson from the concert because of the band's antics.
According to the NJSA, these anticipated antics may create security
risks and may tarnish the njsa's reputation and ability to

(01:19:00):
remain a lucrative forum for concert events. The clause on
which the NJSA relies for its authority to exclude Marilyn
Manson from the show confirms the motivation of the NJSA.
Under the njsa's proposed contract, it may exclude a performer
for grounds of character offensive to public morals, failure to

(01:19:22):
uphold event advertising claims, or violation of event content restrictions
agreed to by both parties at time of completion of
this agreement. The only aspect of this clause that the
NJSA relies upon is that Marilyn Manson's performance is anticipated
to be offensive to public morals. This appears to be

(01:19:43):
the quintessential essence of content based regulation. The NJSA has
argued that safety concerns prompted its refusal to allow Marilyn
Manson to play at Giant Stadium, but the NJSA has
put forth no evidence that its proffered safety concern are
legitimate rather than pretextual. To the contrary, no unlawful or

(01:20:05):
violent activity has occurred on Marilyn Manson's current tour, and
it appears that the plaintiffs have complied with njsa's requests
for concessions intended to bolster security. The NJSA also argued
that the inclusion of Marilyn Manson would tarnish njsa's reputation
and ability to earn revenue, but the NJSEEA conceded at

(01:20:29):
oral argument that the decision to exclude Marilyn Manson was
not based on the economics of the show in question.
The show was anticipated to earn substantial revenue. Rather, NJSA
argued that the inclusion of Marilyn Manson would somehow affect
njsa's future ability to use the stadium. The njsa's argument

(01:20:51):
is insufficiently concrete to be persuasive, and there are no
written guidelines defining what might endanger njsa's reputation. Consequently, the
Court is not persuaded. Additionally, it appears that the njsa's
requirement that all performers sign a contract allowing the NJASA

(01:21:11):
to regulate the morality of concert programs may be an
unreasonable restriction on access to even a non public forum.
It appears patently unreasonable that Giants Stadium would permit an
entire concert of heavy metal bands while excluding only one,
Marilyn Manson, which has demonstrated no propensity for illegal activities

(01:21:32):
on stage. Thus, the NJASA will suffer no irreparable injury
from allowing Marilyn Manson to perform at Giants Stadium. It
is on this seventh day of May ordered that, pending
a hearing on an application for a permanent injunction, the
NJSA is preliminarily enjoined and restrained from prohibiting plaintiffs from

(01:21:54):
presenting a concert performance by Marilyn Manson at Giants Stadium
on June fifteenth, nineteen ninety seven. From the decision of
the United States District Court of New Jersey upholding the
right of plaintiffs Marilyn Manson Incorporated and others to perform
as part of the Ozfest at Giants Stadium, which had

(01:22:16):
been canceled by the defendant NJ Sea, New York, continued, who,
in addition to playing guitar in Pantera, is actually the
creator of Tony Wiggins. He took Twiggy, Pogo and me
back to his house in Dallas after visiting a series
of strip bars and doing other things that people who
have rebel flag bumper stickers would do. I vaguely remember

(01:22:39):
someone putting acid in my mouth and waking up in
a litter box trying to keep a pig from shitting
on my face. June nineteenth, nineteen ninety seven, Chicago. I
expected the Ozfest crowd to be much more open minded.
This is an audience that grew up in the tradition
of Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and other bands that put

(01:22:59):
on more than your average rock and roll show. But
so far it's just been a bunch of really drunk
assholes who are intimidated by the fact that they are
confused and maybe they want to fuck me, and it
pisses them off, but in a weird way. I think
I'm beginning to like this. It's been a while since
we performed and weren't the headliners. Sometimes a crowd that

(01:23:20):
hates me this much is as good as a crowd
that loves me, because it inspires me to give my
best performance. July thirty first, nineteen ninety seven, Toronto. Today,
the police told me that if I sang the Patti
Smith song rock and Roll Nigger, I would be arrested
under the hate crime law for promoting racial disharmony. So

(01:23:42):
to fuck with the police, I had a friend of mine, Corey,
who happens to be black, accompany me and my bodyguard Aaron,
into my meeting with these moronic individuals. Wearing a police hat.
I asked the officer in charge what problems he had
with our show. He nervously shuffled through notes and said
there's one song in particular, as if he couldn't remember

(01:24:05):
what it was, and then he mumbles rock and roll nigger,
specifically so as not to offend Corey, who looks like
he'll kick the shit out of anyone who's white. I
went on to explain to him that not only did
Patty Smith write the song and not me, but that
the song represents the isolation and discrimination of people for
their ideas and their beliefs and their art, which ironically

(01:24:27):
was exactly what this asshole was doing. He still didn't
seem to understand, so I told him, quite simply, I
would do the song and we would see what happened
when it was done. Though I told him the show
would not be changed, I did change it in several
simple ways. I dawned a police uniform and something given
to me by a fan, a badge formerly in the

(01:24:47):
possession of an officer shot in the line of duty.
I also invited Corey to help me sing, in particular
the lines with the word nigger in them. We performed
the song as an encore, and I interduce by saying,
I want to tell you about something that happened recently.
There's a song that's twenty years old written by a
woman named Patti Smith, and a couple of white cops

(01:25:09):
came up to me and they said, you can't sing
that song. They said that it's against black people. What
I want to explain to those moronic, fucking idiots is
that the songs about people like me and you, people
that get discriminated against for the way we are, just
like they fucking discriminated against us today and they didn't
understand it's because they are a bunch of fucking idiots.

(01:25:32):
So I dedicate this song to the Canadian police Force.
What we and the crowd realized more than anything was
that nobody here hated niggers. We all hated cops. I
didn't get arrested or even reprimanded. The cops might not
have been listening, though they were probably too busy searching
the bathrooms for plungers to stick up our asses. September

(01:25:56):
nineteen ninety seven, Portugal. Plenty of pep people could do
what I'm doing on an underground level. We did it
for years and nobody cared. It's not until you're a
household name that people give a shit. But what we've
done on stage, with the fascist banners, with tearing up
the Bible, with the snow falling from above, with the
whole beautiful thing, it's all so much more controversial than

(01:26:19):
nudity or killing dogs on stage because it's so powerful
and it has meaning. I feel proud because in the
beginning I hesitated. I didn't know if I could continued Portugal,
continued get away with It, I could have been destroyed.

(01:26:40):
I remember when we first played the record for Jimmy
Ivy and head of Interscope Records. He told us this
is the best rock record that's been written in the
past ten years. But I don't want to see you
step on the wrong toes because then nobody will ever
hear it. Anybody can sell seven hundred thousand records. You
can do that out of your garage. So I told

(01:27:00):
him that the important thing to me was that we've
written good songs that people will remember and sing. We've
infiltrated the mainstream in a way that they don't want,
and I think that is a work of art in itself.
September nineteen ninety seven, Brazil. I opened a fortune cookie
and it said, when all of your wishes are granted,

(01:27:21):
many of your dreams will be destroyed. Well, I've gotten
everything that I wanted. Were the biggest band in America.
We've got platinum albums, we got the Rolling Stone cover
that Doctor Hook never managed to get. But I've managed
to destroy and lose everything that I've loved along the way.
The whole world now looks at me the way I

(01:27:42):
looked at my grandfather. I hope they like what they see,
because now I finally do Circle zero enlightenment. I feel
one part Elvis Presley, one part Jack Warner, and one
part Reverend Ernest Angley, and this disturbs me. In making

(01:28:03):
my failures my success, I've become what I was once
afraid of. September seventeenth, nineteen ninety seven, Mexico City. Tonight's
show was a disaster, a relief, a fiasco, a Mexican
stand off, and a drug crazed freak out. Twiggy slashed

(01:28:24):
his hand open on the very last song of this
very last show while smashing his bass. The whole thing
was every bit of rock and roll and every bit
of everything we represented. I feel like we've grown in
the past year, and I'm glad that it's over. I
can see already that America nothing records. Our friends and
the media have perceived this to be the peak of

(01:28:46):
our career. Unfortunately for them, it's just the beginning.

Speaker 14 (01:29:06):
What may cause I'm nah, I want to walk Patula.

Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
Came O God, I want to walk Patil.

Speaker 1 (01:29:43):

Speaker 7 (01:30:05):

Speaker 7 (01:30:27):

Speaker 4 (01:30:41):

Speaker 1 (01:30:44):

Speaker 2 (01:30:47):
You can't bark with the mind. I'm so going to
after all those charges. Can't buck to the body of
the world, so.

Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
Can't buck to.

Speaker 15 (01:30:58):
The bar song More Brad birth Time prob a Partirl.

Speaker 1 (01:31:05):
So don't think that.

Speaker 2 (01:31:27):

Speaker 2 (01:32:36):
I'm not said you give him.

Speaker 3 (01:32:39):
I can give up.

Speaker 7 (01:32:40):
Lest Sunset give me that.

Speaker 1 (01:32:45):
Give up. I'm not sup.

Speaker 17 (01:32:52):
Getting into Anti Christ Superstar, the death of Coma at
Holywood's conclusion and the death of Adam at the end
of Mechanical Animal now gives way to the Worm. He's
an individual who is suppressed by similar tropes that Adam
dealt with in Hollywood.

Speaker 8 (01:33:07):
This new stage of societal.

Speaker 17 (01:33:09):
Dogma is personified by the term beautiful people. However, as
the Worm matures and realizes he will never fit into
their quote unquote perfect world that is run by the
beautiful people, he decides to embrace the role of a
destroyer or an antichrist. Where Adam slash Omega tried to
show a different path for the world's evolution and spirituality growth,

(01:33:32):
the Worm turned disintegrator goes on a scathing route of
mirroring this society in its hypocrisy, capitalizing on the excesses
of it before eliminating it all and himself due to
an overwhelming need. We're breaking this corrupt cycle, so let's
dig deeper into this final amazing chapter of the trilogy.
The background information of this record in particular revolves around

(01:33:56):
the main character's transformation from a lost week and rejected
person to his evolved state becoming a reborn, adored, rabble
rouser rock star that eventually turns into a fallen angel
or an Antichrist.

Speaker 8 (01:34:11):
This is represented with three separate.

Speaker 17 (01:34:13):
Cycles on the album cycle one the Herophant, two Inauguration
of the Worm, and three Disintegrator Rising. A Worm was
chosen to represent the character at his early stages where
he is trying too hard to appeal to the outside
world for acceptance, and he continues on this failing cycle
until a metamorphosis has to occur.

Speaker 8 (01:34:34):
Worms and insects are often.

Speaker 17 (01:34:35):
Looked down upon for being considered creepy in their small
and disgusting nature. This symbol perfectly sums up the traits
of our protagonists when the album starts to unfold.

Speaker 8 (01:34:46):
So here we are at cycle one.

Speaker 17 (01:34:48):
The herophysit crack one, irresponsible at amm Crack one is
a prophecy of what is to come. The track showcases
the word already at his evolved state of being the
dirty rock star which we will soon encounter on the.

Speaker 8 (01:35:10):
Second phase of the record.

Speaker 17 (01:35:12):
Lyrically, this song is a scathing assault on everything this
society stands for. This future version of our main character

(01:36:01):
is very outspoken against folks with victim mindsets. He even
threatens to blacken their eyes, beat them with sticks, and
states it's their own fault due to their lack of
backbone and willpower to stand up for themselves and shift
their circumstances. This song is a rally cry against societal standards.

(01:36:36):
Slave minded slash follower mentality and those who feel that
their quote unquote side is a righteous one. When our
protagonist claims, I don't need to choose a side, it
is his way of announcing his individuality, which in his
mind makes him superior to everyone who tries so hard
to live up to everyone else's standards instead of inventing

(01:36:57):
their own. He despises these types of people and wants
to boldly distance himself from them, with the declarations contained
in the song leading us to track to the Beautiful People.

Speaker 8 (01:37:07):
This marks the true beginning of the.

Speaker 17 (01:37:10):
Record, when the Worm was just as lost and afraid
of being an outcast as the people reference on track one.
The Beautiful People is a metaphor for the societal standards
and landscape that the Worm has to live amongst. They
are equally obsessed with beauty, status, and religion, using materialism,
social hierarchies, and self righteousness since they follow a monkey

(01:37:34):
see monkey Doo mentality, all too obsessed with the outside
world and what it will think of them if they
do not toe the predetermined line.

Speaker 8 (01:38:43):
The shot at.

Speaker 17 (01:38:44):
Capitalism points to the idea that the more you acquire
also increases your value as a person. Manson views both
this and materialism as a form of extremism that is
essentially an updated fascist attitude. He condemns this by referring
to them as apes and mocking the notion of this

(01:39:04):
being a free and beautiful society when all they know
how to do is beat slaves to their masters and
imitate one another. However, this commentary is only told after
the worms failed attempt to find a place of solace
amongst them. At first, he wished to be one of them,
accepted under these conditions, But after he was discarded and

(01:39:25):
finally accepted the fact that he will never be one
of the beautiful people, he comes out with the blistering
attitude that we find on this track, and he soon
seeks another fix to ease his alienation.

Speaker 8 (01:39:35):
Track three Dried Up, Tied, and Dead in the world.

Speaker 17 (01:39:50):
The initial lyrics, as I mentioned earlier, point back to Omega,
yet they also showcase the state of mind that the
worm finds himself in when analyzing the surroundings. He's trying
to overcome big people ready to get ahead by any
means necessary. The worm is searching for an alternative to
their way of operation, seeking something that he himself can believe.

Speaker 8 (01:40:08):
In the first teeth.

Speaker 17 (01:40:09):
Where he takes on this search is one involving sex
and drugs. The drug give him a short lived feeling

(01:41:24):
of empowerment and self worth, but the effects don't last.
This is referenced directly by the I am anything when
on high phrase. Without the high, he's the same old,
beaten down and discarded.

Speaker 8 (01:41:35):
Person that he has always been.

Speaker 17 (01:41:37):
Also, he reaches both similar heights and impermanence with kinky
and casual sex and lust, leading to an escape rather
than a solution to his feeling of being outcast and misunderstood.
The letdown of these experiences force him to search for
another avenue to obtain what he is looking for. Track
for Turniquet, the final song on the initial cycle, the
worm has found another path to hopefully find his place

(01:41:58):
and stop his seeking with a carefully crafted relationship. Yet,
based on the lyrics as the song progresses, it seems
to be more of a surface level connection than anything that.

Speaker 8 (01:42:06):
Truly makes him feel at ease and accepted for who
he is.

Speaker 17 (01:42:27):
The flies will lay their eggs metaphor if displays the
inevitability that this relationship.

Speaker 8 (01:42:32):
Won't last no matter how much care is taken to
preserve it.

Speaker 17 (01:42:35):
Also, flies tend to lay eggs in things that are dead,
which tells you all you need to know about the
type of relationship.

Speaker 8 (01:42:40):
The worm has found himself in.

Speaker 17 (01:42:41):
The use of tourniquet doubles as a metaphor or stopping
the bleeding in terms of the failing relationship and in
terms of drug use, which the worm is no stranger to.
It makes or a more accessible way to inject your
chosen high. Both a drug induced high and a toxic
codependent relationship will lift you like an angel before crashing
you down.

Speaker 8 (01:42:58):
To the depths below.

Speaker 17 (01:43:20):
These lyrics indicate a form of abuse or neglect stemming
from this connection he is in, which leads him to
further fall into self doubt and loss of identity, limiting
his growth and stunting his willpower. The phrasing used throughout
the song gives me the impression it is a situation
that continued gone well past its welcome, but when finally dealt.

Speaker 8 (01:43:37):
With, the worm demands its long overt ending.

Speaker 17 (01:44:00):
The last lines in the song here reveal our protagonists
banishing this person and their suffocating influence on him, pointing out,
I never believed in me. I am your tourniquet stating
his rise and self doubt and confusion is the product
of this other person's impact on his life and not
a true reflection of his own lack of will and purpose.
After clearing this situation out of the way, he reaches
the next step in his evolution. Cycle two, Inauguration of

(01:44:22):
the World. Cycle two advances us along into a further
stage of our protagonist's progression.

Speaker 8 (01:44:30):
He's leaving behind the lesser.

Speaker 17 (01:44:31):
Nature in order to recreate himself into a superior being
that he himself can be proud of. But this type
of change is not all the sunshine and rainbows it's
cracked up to be. As we will discover, much of
this forthcoming change takes a sinister turn. The next track
deserves some extra focus since its metaphor is oftentimes understated.
Track by Little Horn. The Little Horn is a biblical

(01:44:53):
reference in the Book of Daniel. In one of his visions,
the prophet Daniel sees a little horn that grows out
of a terrible beast. Urgence of the little horn, its
unusual form and its behavior caused Daniel to wonder to
get a better understanding of what the little horn symbolizes.

Speaker 8 (01:45:07):
Both in this record's context, and biblically, we need to
take a look at Daniel's complete vision.

Speaker 17 (01:45:12):
The prophet saw four beasts, which represent four kingdoms. The
first three represent Persia, Babylon, and Greece. The fourth and
final that Daniel sees is, in his mind, the most troubling.
He describes it as terrifying, frightening, and quite powerful. This
fourth monster has bronze claws large iron teeth with which
it uses to annihilate its prey. Daniel sees that this

(01:45:33):
beast has ten horns, and as he ponders the meaning
of the horns, a little horn begins to grow from
the midst out of the ten. This little horn is unusual.
As it emerges, three of the original horns are plucked out.
Daniel sees that the little horn has eyes like a
human being and a mouth that speaks boastfully. The boastful
words of the little horn continue until the day of Judgment,
and at.

Speaker 8 (01:45:52):
That time the beast is slain and its body is thrown.

Speaker 17 (01:45:55):
Into a blazing fire. Daniel is troubled by this vision,
and an angel explains it to him. The beasts, since
ten horns, are ten kings who will arise.

Speaker 8 (01:46:02):
From that kingdom.

Speaker 17 (01:46:03):
The little boastful horn with the human mouth and eyes
represent a specific king and has rise to power.

Speaker 8 (01:46:09):
The original kings will fall.

Speaker 17 (01:46:10):
This evil king aka the Little Horn, will speak against
the most high and oppress his people, and he will
exert oppressive power. These traits go hand in hand with
the prophesized Antichrist that the Bible explains will arrive during.

Speaker 8 (01:46:22):
The quote unquote end times.

Speaker 17 (01:46:24):
The Antichrist will be a world leader, especially noted for
his blasphemies and the scope of.

Speaker 8 (01:46:29):
His abusive power.

Speaker 17 (01:46:30):
The Antichrist will make his move to the top at
the expense of three of those prior leaders, and he
will eventually wield global authority. A true tyrant, the anti
Christ will seek to control every aspect of life, and
he will even.

Speaker 8 (01:46:41):
Demand to be worshiped.

Speaker 17 (01:46:43):
Now circling factory record, many of these traits in that
Bible story I just touched on are foreshadowing to the
traits that the worm will acquire in the.

Speaker 8 (01:46:50):
Next sequence of the record.

Speaker 17 (01:46:51):
These attributes include tyrannical power, boastful speaking out against society
and spiritual authority, the demand to be worshiped, and ushering
along the hall of the prior king's aka established quarter
we can see why mister Manson rested on the symbol
to guide us along the first part of the second
sequence as it sums up in a nutshell what is
about to unfold as the record continues, No longer willed

(01:47:12):
worm look towards the established order of society and spirituality.

Speaker 8 (01:47:16):
For his answers.

Speaker 17 (01:47:17):
In fact, he's hell bent on forming his own standards,
even at the cost of killing off his old self.
This track never fails to make the famous line from
flight Club pop into my head. It's only after we
lost everything that we are free to do anything. Now
that the worm has finally thrown away his old self,
the metamorphosis is underway, leading us to track six crypt
or Kid.

Speaker 2 (01:47:44):
Eight Time My Mother Drive Still Dive.

Speaker 17 (01:47:53):
Esserm using the line about when you are a worm,

(01:48:26):
it's hard to learn. The number seven seven here is
a numerical representation of heaven. Manson is explaining when he's
a worm, or in his lesser stage of development, it
is hard to understand what it takes to reach acceptance
among the beautiful people for the status quo, and every
time he looks outside aka seeks an alternative, he's hurting
those who care about them and shelter him as they
don't relate to his experience. As we touched on Inferniquet,

(01:48:48):
those in his life seem to keep him where they
want him in a sense, whether consciously or unconsciously, under
their scope of control and understanding. But the worm has
come to realize that this exploration of new, esoteric or
outside the lines thoughts and feelings change him and allows
him to grow. Crypt or kidism is a condition where

(01:49:25):
one or both of the testicles fail to drop into
the nut sack, and the background vocals can be heard
in that track that say I wish I had my balls,
and no, I am not making that up. Just to
listen closely, this is a direct metaphor for the worm situation.
He wishes this metamorphosis would occur immediately instead of through
a more elongated process. If he quote unquote had his balls,

(01:49:47):
he'd get instant power and gratification to overcome the less
desirable traits he wishes to outgrow. The end of the song,
which has the repetition of prick your finger it is done,
indicates the next level of transformation he seeks is now complete,
dawning into a new stage of personal power that he
will use to his advantage to both build himself up
and cut down all that he opposes.

Speaker 8 (01:50:07):
Track seven deformography.

Speaker 1 (01:50:15):
This seth.

Speaker 17 (01:50:47):
This sequence of lyrics not only points to the past,
but the current. Our protagonist was previously in the societal
trap laid out by the Beautiful People's agenda, trying to
be the square peg that fits in the round hole,
only to eventually give up that pursuit and find his
new colleague, rock stardom. He is now mister Superstar. The
tables have turned. The worm has become a rebellious rock star,

(01:51:07):
using his platform to forge his own form of morals
and idealism that rivals what he was once taught to be.
He's even cautioning those who will soon follow him not
to fall into hard not to become like he's becoming,
not to change in the way he's changed. Take this
as both a warning and a challenge. As we will
soon see, he openly admits to using his new found
fame to destroy as well as creating.

Speaker 3 (01:51:32):
System.

Speaker 1 (01:51:33):
As a.

Speaker 18 (01:51:40):
Scape escapes he needs.

Speaker 1 (01:51:54):
Just sounds follow.

Speaker 17 (01:52:29):
His method of attack is turning his former detractors into
fans who will follow his lead and throw away their
beliefs in order to adhere to his viewpoint. Mister Superstar
is getting off on the newfound respect, adoration, and attention
that he's found his way into, and just like Adam
in Holywood, the real test coming is whether he's going
to hold true to his own principles or dissolve into

(01:52:49):
all the pitfalls of corruption that he will soon face
along the way. Track eight, Worm Boy. Track eight marks
the first trace of self doubt tinged reflection. Since the
metamorphosis has occurred the changed appearance and improved circumstances, he
still has moments that harken back to the same type
of discontentment and comparisons to the status quo he's been.

Speaker 8 (01:53:08):
Trying to escape.

Speaker 17 (01:53:09):
The self critical condition of his past has not washed away,
and with lyrics such as when you get to Heaven,
you will wisher in Hell indicate another recurring theme with
Hollywood fighting to obtain something or someplace new, only to
realize it's not what you really wanted or thought it
would be. This back and forth pendulum swing of individuality
versus measuring up to outside standards will continue to resurface.

Speaker 8 (01:53:30):
As we go on Track nine.

Speaker 17 (01:53:32):
Mister Superstar, on this track, we get a glimpse into
the minds of our protagonist's legion of fans.

Speaker 8 (01:53:37):
The verses showcase.

Speaker 17 (01:53:38):
Their attitude towards him, and it clearly expresses an unhealthy
level of fandom and hero worship. But when the chorus hits,
the perspective shifts back into mister Superstar. His goal in

(01:54:30):
finding his own path and rising above the standards of
the beautiful people are once again similar to Adams in
wanting to make an alternative. But now he recognizes the
mindless worship he's getting is not fulfilling beyond the surface
level pleasures. In fact, he's reaching nosis, perhaps for the
first time, seeing things as they really are. He's becoming
the new standard, and instead of being an individual, those

(01:54:51):
who adore him are merely shifting their focus from what
they used to worship onto him. They are not receiving
his real message. They continue on playing Monkey, See Monkey Do.
This breeds a new level of disgust, despair, and hatred
inside him. Mister Superstar admits this is not what he wanted.
This sentiment is most vividly expressed via live performances on
the Dead to the World War. Now that he's understood

(01:56:54):
his message is not being received, he digs wholeheartedly into
his revenge bag, knowing he cannot inspire or save anyone
who is not willing to do the work and change
into their true will and individuality. Therefore, the one way
ticket to both self and external destruction has been punched
and will soon unfold. Track ten Angel with the Scabbed Wings.
This song showcases the loss of sympathy and morality, a

(01:57:16):
full fledged dive into nihilism. He reverts back to drugs
and rock and roll cliches of out of control behavior.

(01:57:47):
The lyrics just now shown reveal the game plan he's
embarked on, posing as a savior, but really he's a taker,
slowly destroying the followers who blindly cheer him on. The
only way to overcome the system that's failed him and
the people who have not understood him is to be
willing to annihilate. This idea of posing as a savior
but really doing the opposite once again calls back to
the biblical metaphors on this record with the anti Christ

(01:58:09):
dangle that is almost to a tee. The way the
events of the Antichrist pulling the world and tricking them
into going against the ways of God is described in
the Bible. He boastfully includes warnings to those he's on

(01:58:37):
course for corrupting in his songs, but there is no
stopping it now. Track eleven Kinderfeld final track on the
second cycle of the album. As some of the lyrics
on this song peek back into some of the Worm's
feelings before he changed into the influential, nihilistic rock star.
When I was a worm, thought I could not get
through it. As the song progresses, we see a foreshadowing

(01:58:57):
of the final evolution. He's taking the disintegrator, which is
the chosen term it synonymous for the anti Christ type
of traits.

Speaker 8 (01:59:04):
He is going to display that your lies have watered

(02:00:26):
me and now I have become the strongest weed.

Speaker 17 (02:00:28):
He points the finger back to the system and the
people who discarded him and made this monster. He's transformed
into a wicked desecrator, all bent on burning down the
world who never understood him. The society that breeds these

(02:00:56):
types of wickedness and disenchantment in the world, which would
only fear their own reflection for its themselves, who create
these types of psychos, who snap out and commit the
atrocities we see on the news. For example, it's their
judgmental attitude's materialistic criteria for being.

Speaker 8 (02:01:11):
A have or a have not. In the lack of
time and understanding given to allow people.

Speaker 17 (02:01:14):
To truly find their own way in life is what
leads to destructive attitudes. In a way, the world that
will be eventually demolished by an Antichrist or whatever apocalyptic
event that comes along only has themselves to blame. And
that is the biggest takeaway I've received from this track
enter Cycle three Disintegrator Rising. As cycle three begins, I

(02:01:35):
quickly want to reference the poem The Conquering Worm by
Echerallic Poe. It contains similar tropes as the story unfolding
in this record, as it portrays the world in human
life in general as wild and filled with madness, only
to end in the hideousness of death. Cycle three will
reveal to us a conquering attitude as the worm turned
Angelic rock Star is going to trade all the fringe
benefits of stardom into a philosophical.

Speaker 8 (02:01:57):
And spiritual battlefield. Track twelve in Chryst Superstar.

Speaker 17 (02:02:22):
Shed the Skin to feed the Fake is a sentence
that functions as a summary to what brought us to
this point. The fake outsiders aka the Beautiful People directly
caused his transformation of shedding his old skin. By chanting
repent throughout the song, he's mocking the idea that these people,
including his mindless followers, can be saved. The hydra, historically speaking,

(02:03:23):
is a multi headed beast that once one head is
cut off, more grow back, similar to the littlebeign prophecy
from Bucadaniel. This comparison made indicates our central character has
a thirst for revenge that will not be quenched with
anything less than the extinction of the old ways of thinking.
He announces to see him, or your beloved star, or
what he truly is. The Antichrist is almost tear Soon

(02:03:44):
he will wield the power to erase everything he despises
about the world. Track thirteen, nineteen ninety six, our anti
christ rockstar proclaims light a candle for the sinners.

Speaker 8 (02:03:53):
And set the world on fire. He has begun his.

Speaker 17 (02:03:56):
Scorched earth revenge, first burning down the illusions his followers
had about him, and next destroying the very system and
social order and held him.

Speaker 8 (02:04:04):
Back his entire life.

Speaker 17 (02:04:05):
He is unleashing his pent up hatred and rage as
a new twisted art piece, the method being destruction as
a form of creation. This is the moment where he
shines a light on a lesson of extremism, as the
elitist attitudes of rock and roll fans called practitioners and
materialists are just as blind and hollow as the worst
extremism of Christianity and other religions. He condemns them all

(02:04:26):
right here, Track fourteen, minute of Decay. Minute of Decay
reveals to us that despite the heart boiled attitude and
wreckage he's leaving in his way, the Antichrist Superstar aka
Disintegrator is dealing with his own emotional turmoil when it
comes to the impending end of the world or society
as we know him. Even though he is the one
bringing about this apocalyptic finale, these moments of sad, morbid

(02:04:47):
reflection are not lost on him when it pertains to
what could have been if only he was accepted, or
if only society was more understanding and inclusive. However, as
the song progresses, the Disintegrator comes to the understanding that
he wi will have to destroy himself also to complete
his vengeance. Once this lesson is integrated, he wears the
role of deceiver on his sleeve bolder than ever before,

(02:05:08):
eliminating any remnants of a facade or mask over his
true dark intentions, openly proclaiming, I'm on my way down.

Speaker 8 (02:05:15):
I'd like to take you with me.

Speaker 17 (02:05:16):
The apocalyptic tribulation has arrived and the Reflecting God is
dealing out his most wicked form of justice. Track fifteen,
The Reflecting God Track fifteen is essentially the soundtrack to
the end.

Speaker 11 (02:05:27):
Of the world.

Speaker 8 (02:05:28):
Let's take a quick listen.

Speaker 17 (02:06:09):
Antichrist superstar is using his unrival power and influence to
quote unquote be the new God. Only in his reign
over mankind, there will be no salvation and no forgiveness.
Or the sole purpose of this armageddon is to wipe
the slate clean as a means to end everything for
good or create an irrevocable change, depending on how you
and I as listeners, view the purpose of his mission.
Is he another elitist tyrant becoming everything he used to

(02:06:32):
rally against, or is he truly an avenging angel that
had to go to such extremes to right the wrongs
of society.

Speaker 8 (02:06:39):
I personally have.

Speaker 17 (02:06:40):
My take on it, but I will stop myself from
announcing my view as a means to encourage you to
think about your own I know, I know, you might
be screaming at your phone or your laptop right now,
accusing me of coughing out. But come on, I did
all the heavy lifting here, meaningwise, with four long ass videos,
I'd be violating one of the very cornerstone principles Marilyn
Manson tried to convey with the triptych, which is to

(02:07:00):
think for yourself. So let me know in the comments
below your take on it. So is he the elitist
tyrant or the avenging angel? Track sixteen Man that You
Fear Now? Man that You Fear serves as an epilogue
to all the events that transpired throughout the album. He
recapped after the season finale, If you Will, and I
can't miss the chance to shout out Trent Reznor's absolutely
awesome work playing the Rhodes piano in the song. It

(02:07:21):
is truly the musical heart and soul of this track.

Speaker 2 (02:07:31):
Muscles as the screens.

Speaker 1 (02:07:46):
R is that you Love the Man that Yeah?

Speaker 17 (02:08:02):
The Worm slash Disintegrator contemplates the past, recalling everything that led.

Speaker 8 (02:08:06):
Up until this point, his initial moments of existence feeling.

Speaker 17 (02:08:09):
Loved, which as the years went on, and as he
grew up in a sixth society that morphed into disenchantment
and hatred, which eventually gave way to fear as he
became the Antichrist they had a hand in creating shot

(02:08:42):
He in a way is petitioning to us, claiming he
has no choice but to do this, then once again
reminds us that he was once loved before the circumstances
mutated him into.

Speaker 8 (02:08:52):
A monster.

Speaker 17 (02:08:59):
Beyonds he demands the world crawled into the dark side,

(02:09:31):
coming face to face with the mess they make, unable
to run away from it, unable to be saved from
the dogma that they poisoned all their children, and therefore
society will will not come to the rescue. These failed
methods implemented by the beautiful people's civilization cycled on for
far too long, like a broken record or a cut
that never.

Speaker 11 (02:09:47):
Healed me, So that too es.

Speaker 2 (02:10:01):
These bonds justice.

Speaker 17 (02:10:12):
Someone had to go this far, and another reprise of
the line I was born into this once again shows
us the viewpoint that disintegrator is trying to perpetuate. But
it's up to us to judge whether he is a
reliable narrator or not. Was it really his fate or
destiny to unleash this havoc? Whereas he's still in his
quote unquote deceiver mode as a father of lies, like
the biblical versus claim, the Antichrist will be therefore justifying

(02:10:34):
his devastating actions with final words. Well, that's another huge
question that the listener is best off answering for themselves. Yeah,

(02:11:13):
this planet's destruction has been carried out, leaving everyone wishing
their life was just a dream, something they could wake
up out of and relive if only they knew what
they know now. But instead they are resigned to feeling
what the worm fell way back when. With no one
left to hear you scream and nobody left for you,
the disintegrator has turned the tables and pulled the plug
on the beautiful people and their ways of being living

(02:11:35):
up to the Oppenheimer quote, Now I.

Speaker 8 (02:11:36):
Haven't become of that despair of girls.

Speaker 7 (02:11:41):
Red wherever you will.

Speaker 5 (02:11:43):
Be destroyed.

Speaker 8 (02:11:48):
Track ninety nine.

Speaker 17 (02:11:50):
This was a hidden track on the album that only
played after a multitude of silent tracks.

Speaker 1 (02:11:56):
Let me tell you the.

Speaker 17 (02:12:37):
Sentiment here is that another messiah or the rehashing of
the same old cycle will only fail as well. The disintegrator,
speaking in a dialect of distortion, informs us that this
punishment was.

Speaker 8 (02:12:47):
Deserved for both the world and himself.

Speaker 17 (02:12:50):
He recalls his initial attempts to shift the curve and
save the day by presenting the alternative of individuality, but
that failed, leading to the hell like torment that they
now have to endure. Serious once again, he's imploring that

(02:13:38):
we are not victims, as this damnation was deserved, before
delivering his final declaration of when you are suffering, know
that I have betrayed you, taking the credit for bringing
this malfunctioning pattern to its final end. Now, as you
may have noticed, the same phrase opens the record, and
now it also closes it, which signifies the occult image
of a snake eating its own tail. Any sort of

(02:14:00):
surviving principles of the ways of the beautiful people, and
it's now collapsed ways of thinking and behavior will only
be faded for a similar demise, like says of this
forever doomed to repeat unless a real change of mind,
heart and spirit occurs. The key to escaping such a
terrible faith is self honesty, self realization, and an open
minded society which would allow those principles to be obtained

(02:14:21):
for everyone, not just those in harmony with the status quo,
and that, my friends, is probably the biggest takeaway from
the entire triptych in my point of view, So that
takes us to the tarot card aspect of this video.

Speaker 8 (02:14:33):
The reason for including this is to give a further
underlying on what I laid out for you.

Speaker 17 (02:14:37):
That way, if any critics of my take on it
are out there, they can read them and weep as
this Easter egg laid out in the Holywood artwork by
Manson himself acts my views up quite well. The cards
presented in the spread are the Magician, Devil, Emperor, Kermit,
Full Justice, High Priestess, Periphant, and Death. And also you
can count the Hangman on the cover of Holywood because

(02:14:58):
it is a prelude or the true step one in
the spread. The reason for presenting them in this order
is if you take.

Speaker 8 (02:15:04):
The Holywood booklet, open it up and hold it in
out right to left sequence.

Speaker 17 (02:15:08):
Each time you flip it over, one of the band
member's photos appear next to their image on a corresponding
tarot card. This indicates the proper sequence to interpret the
tarot with, and I will show you a flash image
of what I mean before I die with QUI quick
rundown of the symbols of the cards and how they

(02:15:28):
connect I feel with the nature of the Internet. I
have to do a quick disclaimer. All three albums are
represented at various points of the tarot spread. Put together,
it symbolically tells the entire layout of the triptych. All
Tarot cards contain many messages within each card, so some
of these traits may ring more true for other people's
interpretation as we go one by one down the cards,
but it is easy to see how these symbols connect

(02:15:48):
with what we have un rattled with the analysis section.
I will be doing the reading with my rider Weight deck,
which is the most commonly used deck amongst readers, although
there are a few other earthWhile decks. Also, in addition
to displaying image of the rider Weight cards, I will
be showing the tarot artwork from the Manson cards as well,
so you can see both editions for yourself. Even though
the cards have different artwork, the meaning of the cards
remain the same. This will be a very expedited reading

(02:16:11):
since this video is probably going to be over three
hours long. Therefore, keep in mind, there are other tie
ins that could be discussed with what we're about to
get into, but for brevity's sake, I'm going to stick
to the main components instead of getting too much into.

Speaker 8 (02:16:22):
The lesser important parallels.

Speaker 17 (02:16:23):
So the first set of cards I will be talking
about are most prevalent to the Holywood story The Hanged Man.
Technically this card is not in the spread, but since
it was on the album cover, I wanted to touch
on it quickly. With the Hanged Man on the cover,
it serves as a backdrop for the reading, just as
Gody God did the same tone setting for Holywood as
an opening track. Among the many symbols and meanings for

(02:16:44):
the Hangman is a state of being confined in a
set of circumstances. Immediate mobility of action is not possible.
As the imagery on the rider Way card displays, the
man is hanging upside down. However, the yellow beam of
illumination around his head signifies a need to strongly think
about the situation you are in now versus where you
want to be going forward. This card numerically represents the
twelve steps of initiation through which every man or woman

(02:17:07):
must pass. The Celebritarianism religiosity that Adam had to grow
up under was the stuck situation this card is referring to. Also,
you can make a connection of Jesus' link to not
only the Celebritarian religion, but the comparison Manson was making
with the late nineteen nineties early two thousands outspoken Christian America.
With mister Manson's use of putting himself in a christ

(02:17:27):
Like pose on his Handman card, the Hangman is the
first glimpse we have into Adam's journey living in the
shadow of a world that honors death as salvation, and
he must consider if he's willing to do what it
takes to break away from the not of that society,
or if he's content to remain safely in place and
fall in line among those who perpetuate this ideology. New
perspectives are another cornerstone of this card, and Adam definitely

(02:17:50):
gone a new series of beliefs which led him on
his rebellion.

Speaker 8 (02:17:53):
The Hangman ultimately.

Speaker 17 (02:17:54):
Signals to a moment of suspension that we can turn
into an advantage by refining our plans in greater detail,
increasing self knowledge, and doing inner work. Often this will
let us know that the time is not right for
making a decision and that the situation or viewpoint needs
to develop further. Moving on to the second card, technically
the first card in the spread, the Magician.

Speaker 8 (02:18:13):
Technically this marks the actual beginning to the spread.

Speaker 17 (02:18:16):
The Magician is also the number one card in the tarot,
which represents the whole of potential in the first real
step towards initiation or individuation, depending on what lends you
look at it with. The Magician stands before a table
on which upon it are laid alawn, a cup, a sword,
and a pentacle, which represents the minor arcana of the
tarot and the four elements.

Speaker 8 (02:18:36):
He is about to draw power from above to materialize
his desires.

Speaker 17 (02:18:39):
Over his head is the cosmic symbol of eternal life
and dominion, indicating the harmonious interaction of the conscious and
the subconscious idea in feeling, desire and emotion.

Speaker 8 (02:18:49):
For the Magician, all is possible.

Speaker 17 (02:18:51):
Within the Magician is a spirit that seeks to situate
itself within the human realm and find solutions for material
life problems.

Speaker 8 (02:18:58):
The magic wand is.

Speaker 17 (02:18:59):
Reached up to the infinite for accomplishment, while the other
hand reaches down to encourage the evolution of the lower kingdoms,
and this unites both.

Speaker 8 (02:19:07):
Spirit and matter.

Speaker 17 (02:19:09):
The Magician represents man's will in union with the divine,
achieving the knowledge of power to bring desired things into
manifestation through self awareness. This card also indicates the necessity
of deciding. The Magician shows that a new beginning can
be made, even though the Magician still has a long
road to travel ahead of him. These trades sum up
Adam's rebellion and initial stages of his desire for coma

(02:19:30):
to a tee. He's chasing something new to discard the
old standard. The third card is the Devil. The Devil
appears as a tempter. He sits on a half cue,
which signifies the half knowledge of what is on the
visible sensory side of reality. His right hand is raised up,
giving the sign of black magic. In his left hand,
he holds the smoldering porch of destruction. The inverted pentagram

(02:19:51):
denoting evil intent is inscribed above his forehead chain.

Speaker 8 (02:19:55):
For the half cue are two nude people related to
the Lover's card.

Speaker 17 (02:19:58):
The Tale of the Man represents the incorrect use of
the signs of the zodiac, while the woman's tale resembles
a bunch of grapes, suggesting the misuse of the wine
of life. There is no devil except of man's own creation,
and here it is evident that mankind is chained by
their own wrong choices. However, the chains around their necks
are loose and can be removed at will. The devil,
having once been an angel, reveals with his torch his

(02:20:21):
profound desire to climb back from his cave and out
to the heavenly cosmos. In a similar fashion, the human
soul buried in the carnal body has a profound desire
to ascend back to its origin, the creator deity. This
reminds us that any initiate to achieve illumination should not
refuse his animal side, but accept it, honor it, and
guide it to angelic light. In all cases, this car
directs us toward our personal nature and encourages us to

(02:20:43):
not hide behind a mast or fall into temptations that
will set us back. Adam's many temptations include is forbidden
love with coma, giving in or selling out the revolution
in order to dodge the mounting retaliation come his way.
After carrying down the revered ways, of order. So Adam's
devil is the struggle between staying true to his will
will in views versus the benefits of bending the knee
and becoming everything he used to despise out of cowardice

(02:21:06):
and external pressure. Card four the Emperor. The Emperor sits
on his throne, commanding and stately. His key is number four,
and this indicates all that is stable. Four is also
the number of the elements air, earth, fire, and water.
There are four seasons in each year, four points to
the compass, and four rivers in the garden of Eden.
The Emperor is in the consolidation of his authority. No

(02:21:28):
more effort in exploration is necessary for him, as his
views are already established. He stands for domination of the
material world, authority, maternity, and the regulation of life by law.
The Emperor's reality obeys him. He is the master of
his territory, his body, his intellect, and his passions. He
will easily represent the father figure as the central constituent

(02:21:48):
element of the personality in the triptic Coma's father Jack,
who is described in chapter ten of Manson's Holywood novel
as the ruler of Holywood.

Speaker 8 (02:21:57):
So he is a president.

Speaker 17 (02:21:58):
Slash king type of character. He represents the law and
order of the land, and therefore is the Emperor. Its
position in the Spread is consistent with the final cycle
of the Holywood Album of the Fallen, where Adam's revolution
is Steymy Koma's father separates her from Adam's love, and
he forcefully tears apart the rebellion in a show of
power to restore organization towards Celebritarianism and to stamp out

(02:22:20):
Adam's societal.

Speaker 8 (02:22:21):
Alternative Number five the herb.

Speaker 17 (02:22:23):
The hermit stands isolated on a mountain peak, holding up
a lantern to guide those below. The lantern he carries
may be considered a symbol of knowledge. He holds it,
shedding a light over the past, as would a man
of experience. This light can be a secret knowledge, or
to the contrary, a source of knowledge offered to the
disciples who.

Speaker 8 (02:22:40):
Are looking for it.

Speaker 17 (02:22:41):
The hermit illuminates the path, just as the card bears.
An ambivalence between action and reception. This light can be active,
like an appeal for awakening the consciousness, or receptive like
the beacon of a lighthouse. Only those who dare do
and keep silent can see the light of the hermit's lamp.
The hermit carries a staff to use on the narrow
path of initiation and individuation. His cloak is the mantle

(02:23:01):
of discretion, as it protects truth from profane eyes. He
is ready to help anyone who cries for his life.
He remains on the heights of the peak throughout long
nights of spiritual darkness. The hermit may have discovered the
elixir of long life, may have even touched eternity, been
both poor and rich, having known death and rebirth. He
appeals to that part of us that may be eternal.

Speaker 8 (02:23:19):
And he inspires us to go through the trials of
life courageously.

Speaker 17 (02:23:23):
This card often symbolizes a crisis that cannot be avoided,
a profound change that needs to be both confronted and accepted.
It evokes the idea of a teacher or a guide,
but in a crisis, there is a possibility that the
hermit must renew himself or die.

Speaker 8 (02:23:36):
This part symbolizes an inner solitude and the.

Speaker 17 (02:23:39):
Secret dark space where a spiritual transformation is prepared. The
solitude of the hermit is fitting to both Adam and Coma,
as they've been torn apart by the established order, but
their paths end up being split off in two different directions.
This imposed isolation and failing of Adam's rebellion leads Coma
to taking her own life, as told in counter to.

Speaker 8 (02:23:57):
Six and I. Whereas for Adam, he is bound to
the prince.

Speaker 17 (02:24:00):
Bowls of regrowth and spiritual transformation that the Hermit represents.
He can no longer continue as he was, since the
lantern of illumination points to his past, reminding him of
the failures.

Speaker 8 (02:24:09):
Traumas, and loss he's encountered up until this point.

Speaker 17 (02:24:12):
With his Coma dead, is a revolution gone, and the
Gun's god in government order, forcing him to sell out
and be a puppet in their game, Adam must become
something new, something unrecognizable, which ends Holywood and leads us
into Mechanical Animals. Card six The Full. Now this one
begins the events of mechanical Animals. Here we have an
individual about to step off the edge of a cliff.

(02:24:32):
He represents many things, boundless energy, disorder, chaos, seeking, and
even the fundamental creative urge.

Speaker 8 (02:24:39):
The full also signals to.

Speaker 17 (02:24:41):
Inexperience, which certainly can be fullish he faces the direction
of the unknown. He were to take another step, there
would be no clear sign of where it would lead.
The key phrase the full could be all paths are
my path. The Full depicts the eternal traveler wandering through
the world with no ties or nationality. He could also
be viewed as a pillgrim making his way to his
sacred sight, or in the reductive outlook, he could be

(02:25:03):
a madman wandering towards his own destruction. The fool carries
a white rose, indicating that he is free from traditional
complexes and judgments, unbound by common taboos because he has
abandoned all typical viewpoints in favor of finding his own.
The little white dog at his heels shows us that
nature is glad to follow along in man's wake. Or alternatively,
he can function as an inner voice that shows an

(02:25:25):
alternative to the fool's initial, gut instinct ways of thought.
The Full, regardless of his positive or negative side, evokes
an enormous burst of liberating energy.

Speaker 8 (02:25:33):
It is a symbol of a process that is moving forward.

Speaker 17 (02:25:35):
The fool is about to pass into the cycle of
life through which each soul must journey. Think of it
as a spirit facing unknown possibilities of self expression as
he first enters the world. In other words, this card
poses the ultimate question of knowing where this energy is
headed and toward what end is it applying strength? Is
it toward light or darkness? Positive or negative? The true

(02:25:56):
test is discovering where, because everybody must journey forward, choose
between good and evil. But only if he has no philosophy,
no higher direction does the Full truly become foolish and
live down to his name. This symbol of the Full
in a nutshell describes the struggle between Alpha and omega,
the journey of being somewhere new, somewhere alien, trying to
navigate the waters of the unknown, while the higher self

(02:26:18):
mites autemptations in the lower nature indulges in them. The
yin and the yang of good and bad, vibrant outward
expression versus emotional numbness and spacious solitude.

Speaker 8 (02:26:27):
The Full is Adam's new beginning.

Speaker 17 (02:26:28):
But as we discover in the album and the next
couple tarot cards that spell it out, Adam slash Alpha
very much vacillates between the positive and negative qualities expressed
within the.

Speaker 8 (02:26:37):
Symbols of the Full.

Speaker 17 (02:26:38):
Card seven Justice, the symbol of fulfillment. Justice balances our
lives with her scales. Justice is seated between the positive
and negative forces indicated by the pillars. Her sword is
lifted in defense of justice and no one can escape it.
It points upward, indicating victory, and it is two edge
to convey that action destroys as well as builds, that
the false must be cut away from the accurate. Her

(02:27:01):
sword is essential because it is used to separate us
from the useless.

Speaker 8 (02:27:05):
In her left hand are.

Speaker 17 (02:27:06):
The scales always related to balanced judgment, justice moved by wisdom.
The scales indicate that she is weighing our spirituality. In
this sense, justice can be seen as the witness of
our inner God, who urges us to evaluate ourselves. Are
we just in dealing with ourselves? Are we merciful toward
ourselves and others? This key is of the Great Mother,
through whose love, care, and perfect justice, the children of

(02:27:29):
men may.

Speaker 8 (02:27:29):
Achieve equal liberty.

Speaker 17 (02:27:30):
The two scales are a direct connection to the two
sides of Alpha and Omega, the desire for fame and
acceptance versus the need to truly be seen and heard,
be emotionally and spiritually understood. Omega slash Alpha's album Long
Battle between the Two Extremes is perfectly personified within this
card Card eight, the High Priestess. When this card appears
in a man's reading, depending on the spread, it can

(02:27:52):
represent the perfect ideal woman that men dream of.

Speaker 8 (02:27:55):
In Adam slash Alpha's case, this is Coma.

Speaker 17 (02:27:58):
The High Priestess is a symbol of purity and reveals
the part inside us of purification and trust. The High
Priestess can be seen as an initiator or a sorceress.
She oftentimes has been incorporated into the great religious figures,
the Virgin Mary and the Goddess isis a magical source
of fertility and transformation.

Speaker 8 (02:28:15):
She displays the pure spirit that dwells.

Speaker 17 (02:28:17):
Within each of us and summons us to communicate with
this incorruptible divine power. She is the daughter of the
Moon and wears the symbol of a full moon on
her head, with a waxing.

Speaker 8 (02:28:26):
And waning image of moon on each side. She is
the eternal feminine.

Speaker 17 (02:28:30):
She is spiritual enlightenment, inner illumination, the link between the
scene and the unseen. The High Priestess is seated between
two pillars from the Temple of Solomon, the black pillar
of Boaz representing the negative life force, and the white
one Yakin the positive life force. She holds on her
lap a parchment of esoteric wisdom titled torah Aka.

Speaker 8 (02:28:48):
The Divine Law.

Speaker 17 (02:28:49):
The solar cross on her chest exhibits the balance of
the positive and negative forces, the Alpha and Omega Omega
slash Alpha's ultimate purpose was to a reunite with Coma
and be established union between his opposing sides. As the
Ending of Mechanical Animals revealed, his failure to unify his
duality in his unsuccessful attempt to recreate the bliss that
he obtained previously with Coma led to his death. Yet

(02:29:12):
in his death he achieved his reunion with his deceased love,
Coma White. This takes us to the events of Antichrist Superstar.
With the next card in the spread, the herophint. Here
again we have a figure seated between two pillars repeating
the theme of duality. These are the pillars of the
Tree of Life from the Kabbalah, one representing mercy and
the other severity. Or it might be said that the

(02:29:32):
one on the right is law, and the one on
the left is the liberty to obey or disobey that law.
Both are necessary for obedience through compulsion can never bring
freedom as a person must choose. The Herophint is to
incarnate divine unity and to teach it to the best
of his ability. The crossed keys at the feet of
the Herophant, one gold and one silver, are the solar
and lunar currents of energy.

Speaker 8 (02:29:53):
Two priests kneel before him.

Speaker 17 (02:29:54):
One wears the white lilies of thought, and the other
wears the rose of desire. As a master of the
sacred mysteries, the Herophint wears the triple crown of the Pope,
the lower representing the material world, the middle represents the
formative world, and the top one represents the creative world.
The symbol of three is repeated in his staff, revealing
the realm of a spirit, body.

Speaker 8 (02:30:15):
And soul. Its number of five is the number of
man and humanity.

Speaker 17 (02:30:19):
The Heropint points to traditional teaching considered suitable for the masses.

Speaker 8 (02:30:23):
He is the reigning power of external religion.

Speaker 17 (02:30:26):
He could represent a present war, future, master, or guide,
and also symbolizes.

Speaker 8 (02:30:31):
All the means used for communication.

Speaker 17 (02:30:33):
The Heropint evokes a guided communication that knows undeniably where
it is going. Some of these traits are just covered
fit the worm and what he eventually becomes like a globe.
The ideological war of mercy versus severity has feigned future
as an influential communicator, his undeniable will power and his
desire to take his esoteric viewpoints and boldly display them.

Speaker 8 (02:30:53):
In an external sense.

Speaker 17 (02:30:54):
The triple crown also goes hand in hand with the
three cycles on the album, but if we spin it
around for a second, the heroine equally displays qualities that
fit what the worm was disenchanted with and decided to
fight against, such as it symbolized traditional teachings and pope
like characteristics in a cool way. It showcases what the
worm hates and what he becomes, and it's not a

(02:31:15):
coincidence that throughout the voyage of Antichrist Superstar and its events,
the worm turned. The Scintigrator falls into the trap of
becoming many of the things that he used to denounce.
And for the final card in the Spread Death, a
skeleton in armour rides a white horse that tramples over
a falling king. He continues on near a child and
a woman who turn away from him. In Dread, the

(02:31:36):
Bishop in the miter shaped like a fish denotes a
Pissian age which is about to end, Death carries with
him a banner on which there is a high pealed.

Speaker 8 (02:31:44):
Rose, symbolizing the life force.

Speaker 17 (02:31:46):
The river in the background indicates the circulation of the
life horse into materialization and out again. Unlike in Hollywood movies,
the death card does not represent someone literally dying, unless
in the odd exception of other tarot cards that also
indicate death are overwhelmingly present in the same reading. What
this card actually prompts us to see is death as

(02:32:06):
a work of cleansing, an unavoidable change necessary, or the
renewal and the ascent that follows after it, one step
at a time toward the total realization of the world's
entire potential. The king has fallen, reminding us that kingdoms
must inevitably fall. There is perpetual transformation, one aspect of
which is death and birth. Death is a protest against stagnation.
It is by this all changes for the better come

(02:32:29):
to pass and old ideas fade. It is a process
of elimination that works the ego like a field and
tames it. No useless element is tolerated. Reductive concepts and
value systems are swept away, and with them the complicity
that held us within our unrealized state or neurosis.

Speaker 8 (02:32:45):
All bonds of dependency are cut in order to recover
our lost liberty.

Speaker 17 (02:32:49):
This change from a personal to a universal view is
so radical that mystics often compare it to death. But
don't forget death is the twin brother of life. Creation
necessitate its opposite destruction. As the disintegrator escalated into his idealism,
into the perils of fame, twisted decadence, and glorified self destruction,
his ultimate demise ushered in this wiping the slate clean

(02:33:11):
that is symbolized by the death card. A rebirth can
now take place, one that hopefully rights the wrongs of
the past, but if not, will lead inevitably to another
disintegrator slash antichrist that, like death, will press the reset
button when things become too mindless, controlled and emotionally hollow.

Speaker 1 (02:34:01):
You give a buck, I can give him.

Speaker 7 (02:34:03):
My last sip set, same tack didn't so last. You
give a buck, I can give up my brand. I'm
not selling my phone.

Speaker 4 (02:34:10):
