Yeah, I've never mentioned it.But what are you doing here? Well,
I'm investigating a case, kind ofa case. An expensive clock has
been stolen. I figured your daughtermy mid You calling my daughter a crook?
Are now you know that I raisedmy daughter on strict principles and now
(23:22):
that she's a model, Why wouldyou're even closer than ever before? You
and my daughters. Get out, chair off your skull. I got out
later at a saloon bar. Iwrote it in my report on the case.
(23:42):
Marcia Rawlings couldn't be a thief andfather wouldn't let it. I went
home four hours. I'd come upwith so many nuts that I felt like
a squirrel. Sat down on thebottom of Scotch and Company and head look
at four dames in the King's ina lot of the mushrooms. Funny heard
(24:03):
the mushrooms are setting. Happened upalmost like most. I got up.
What up? I visited a guywho looked at the photo. Then another
visit, this time to an addressI got from the phone book. William
Larravy, production manager of Australian Candidmagazine. Long talk with Laravy, and
(24:26):
then the third visit the dark husphereAugustus Dirt lived with Hubert and these mushrooms.
Hubert, wearing a muff eaten roade, let me in Paul Dirt later.

(25:10):
an a Lawson the platform, blondewith a slight accent and the luger.
Why you here? What do youwant? You? Just listen to me
and me they both have some fun. Thirteen minutes later, it's definitely behind
the curtain. An A Lawson wentto the door. Good, I have
(25:34):
to call this is very good withthat knife and lou h, yeah,
very good, coney, and beready with that knife. Yeah, you
remember me your photograph? What doyou want that thing except peace of mind?
(26:00):
You know about the code in thatphotograph, don't you? You must
know you have a slight for anaccent that here, of course has been
dyed. You didn't speak when thephotograph was being taken because you thought I
might notice the derivation of your accent. Russia, are you going to do
liquid that you? In just amoment? Tell me how did you an
(26:26):
escape Russian come to be amongst thosemodels? I tell you why, mister
I'm working for Australian Security. Wesuspected you with being a foreign agent when
we learned she went to the Candidmagazine and agreed to pay for the photograph
of your mushrooms if we were printedin the magazine. I always said,
(26:48):
it's one of the models, apartner of your mushrooms made of a sort
of darkned dash code. The nightI spoke to Lara, the production manager
of the magazine. He told methat the photograph would not be printed,
but it were withdrawn from the magazineby an order from Canberra. So I
wrote up a lot of words onArna here, tipping you off that she
(27:10):
might be an agent. And youknow the rist there's no clock. Of
course, that was just a domeso I could throw out information. Yes,
I learned the curse that the photographwouldn't be published, and I guessed
that one of the five who cameto my house was an agent who getting
beautifully securely if he was working onthe code. Now we're going to arrest
(27:37):
your leg when you just what secret, but I figure it's better this cleam
of steelers. He would raise hisknife. I turned my gun on him.
He let go of the knife justas I fired my wrist my gun
felt don't he is your bonus?Kint? I'm glad I returned that Lugan
(28:00):
Honey Hubert was dead. Dort livedto furnish the key to the code in
exchange for deeplotation, but sadly thendied. Be well, I owed on
(28:23):
a loss in my life. Sound. That's because you leaves as well.
Oh five. You know, there'ssuch a lot you have to leave out
(28:44):
when you're telling a story good night, welcome back. Often quite a bit
(29:07):
of time passes between the time thatI initially listened to a series and decide
we're going to feature it on thepodcast, and the time we actually play
it on the podcast, And sometimeswhen we actually get around to playing it,
and I really listened to some ofthe early episodes, I find myself
asking why did I agree to playthis. I had an experience like that
(29:33):
with Under Arrest, where the firstepisode is really rough, and then you
know, the series gets far better. The first couple episodes of I hate
crime at me, wondering what wasI thinking, and then you get an
episode like this, and oh mygoodness, this was something else. All
of these short scenes, all ofthese crazy characters in just twenty six some
(30:00):
minutes of radio. I mean,it's impressive, and you had to have
some people in this guest cast whocould double or triple up. There's no
way you would get so many individualsinto a radio studio for a program,
particularly with so many of them playingshut short scenes. Because the first short
(30:23):
scene after the initial hiring actually foundmy self thinking, well, there was
a radio actor who collected an easyday's work. But now I'm pretty well
convinced that there had to be quitea bit of doubling up in this.
And we get so much of differentvarieties of violence. It's just so many
(30:48):
crazy things happening. We get LarryKit asking if someone knows that he hates
crime, and somebody donkey on Kent'saccent. This was really fun. I've
just thoroughly enjoyed it from start tofinish. All right, Now, a
couple more quick details on the Tshirts. Now I do have the T
(31:12):
shirts set up on special for thenext six weeks. There will be two
separate batches of T shirts sent out. The orders for the first batch closes
on November the eighth, and thenfor the second batch by November twenty ninth,
(31:33):
you are within the United States, the T shirts should reach you by
Christmas either way, if you're againwithin the United States. If you are
not within the United States, Iwould encourage you. I can't guarantee Christmas
delivery, you'll get it much earlierif you order by November twenty eighth.
(31:55):
Now, after November twenty ninth,I will endeavor to have these tee shirts
available in the same way that ourother T shirts are, where we can
order one or two at any timeyou want, although the price will be
higher on that. Because we're doinga batch on these orders, I'm able
