Speaker 1 (00:26):
I am bad and it ain't a lot bad. Why
a man Alan got there with a.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Dog to stick this up shot.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Welcome to the Grillouse from the heart. That's William West Virginia.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Here's your host, Hollywood, Chef Petty. Welcome back, ladies, gentlemen,
to the Grill House, episode eighty three. I'm your host, Hollywood,
Jeff Petty, and I'm joined by my illustrious and wonderful
co host, both of them, Josh Cole. Babe, Yeah, and

(01:04):
the reflection of perfection never deception. Jason Likins.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
You forgot to mention that I am the soon to
be raining and defending grill Loud predictions and charm.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Pre We'll get to that in the next segment.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yeah yeah, listen. The most important story going on in
wrestling right now. Fans stop trying to kiss. Sayah, yeah,
don't do that. What is wrong with you people?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
The fact that this has to be said, yeah, yeah,
we'll just lead with that. The fact that this has
to be said to not try to kiss a wrestler
on the mouth during a meeting Salt, Yes, yes, what
like we and we've all seen the really creepy pictures

(02:08):
at some of these meet and greets. Okay, and that's
one thing, which isn't a good thing, but that's one thing.
But just to outright try to kiss somebody.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
On the mouth, very very creepy.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
And and she took to Twitter to talk about this
and said that no he did not land said kiss.
She moved out of the way just in time to
where he missed.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
But still, yeah, why do we have why.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Do we have to have this conversation?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Just shouldn't even be They shouldn't have to be brought up. No,
absolutely not, No, we don't do that.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Don't do it.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
And we've talked, we talked, and we've talked, Yeah, don't
do it. Josh is right.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
We have talked on the show about fan behavior.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yes, do better.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Absolutely absolutely that right there, People who are not wrestling
fans or are just in the wrestling here a story
like that, they want to put a blanket statement over
everyone like they're just just everybody's they're all the same.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
They're all like, no, no, we're not. Well, it's funny
because whenever my now wife and I first, when she
first came over to my apartment the first time, Yes,
my my now wife, my current wife. Yes, no, I'm

(03:30):
saying my now wife because when we first got together,
we weren't married. That's usually how that goes, that's how
dating happens. Okay, Yeah, I have nothing to prove to
you people. I have nothing to prove.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
How dare you, John Cena?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
How dare you John Cena?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, Cina winds your riot, shut up, No.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
We do.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
No.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
When when she first came over to my apartment, I
had stepped out to go to the bathroom, and she's
looking through the things that I had on my shelves,
which might have been nothing but wrestling things along with
some other video games. Yep. And she told me later
that she was very frightened of that because and when

(04:18):
I say later, I don't mean like years down the road,
I mean like fifteen minutes later, because she had this idea,
this preconceived notion of what professional wrestling fans were like. Yeah,
and I smiled, and she saw that I had all

(04:39):
of my teeth and realized that I must not be
one of those Nope, Okay, but we all have these
preconceived notions like you play hockey, you have no teeth. Yeah, okay,
you watch wrestling, you don't know what a shower is.
It's like one of those things that you know you're
a Marshall fan because you go to Marshall, you're WVU
fane because you go to Walmart.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yes, and I will add because Ivy did not have
that same reaction to me.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
She loved you from first sight. She didn't remember that
you all went to school to get there like she.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
I remembered her, but she's like, I don't remember.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Do you have any stories about people who love you?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
No?

Speaker 4 (05:21):
No, okay back to you. No the first time.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
It's similar to you and Natalie. Yes, Ivy not the
first time. Like she came over to my house and
I have wrestling stuff everywhere yea. And she she did
not have that reaction.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
She tells me.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
She's like, yeah, I know You're never gonna cheat on me,
So I just look at your bedroom and tell and
I'm like thanks.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
It's like, one, I appreciate that. Two how dare you like?
It's like at that point is it a is it
a compliment or an insult? Like listen, I'm the only
one who wants it, you know, you know, like my
wife knows I'm not going to cheat on her because

(06:12):
of this.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, I mean I listen, I I would not.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Cheat on me.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I appreciate that I would not cheat on Ivy for
any reason.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, But no, like yes, yeah, do not invade people's
personal space. That is not just not just with wrestling
in general, any type of meet and greet. Don't do that.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
That is creepy. That is like no, I mean, I
guess you can ask for a hug. I still think
that's creepy.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
If people say no, then don't do it. Don't then
look at them and say, hey, do better. Yeah, then
walk off over to the town center mall.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yeah, go over to the food court.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
That's yeah. You go to the giant art gallery museum
with an occasional shop or two.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Yeah, that's really what the town centers kind of turned into.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
But moral of the story, keep your hands to yourself,
ladies and gentlemen. Yeah, moral of the story.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
That is that is absolutely the moral touch. Yes, now
with that approval, No.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
The second most important story the money.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
The money, well, no money in the bank is part
of it, WrestleMania forty two.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
You know what, I'm really looking forward to WrestleMania forty
two in New Orleans. Well, but boy, do we got
some do we got some sad story?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Sad news for you.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Spit it bad news for you.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I got some bad news. It's not gonna be New Orleans.
Oh yeah, uen noda.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Okay, now beats no.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
This past week, ww announced that WrestleMania forty two will
not take place from New Orleans. Instead, instead, Money in
the Bank will take place from New Orleans, and it
will be after SummerSlam next year, on August twenty ninth,
the latest date for a Money in the Bank, which
is usually held between May and July. A wrestlman Is

(08:15):
forty two replacement location has yet to be announced. To
my knowledge, this is the first for a WrestleMania where
they have pulled out of a Yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Well technically COVID but that yeah, yeah, we don't.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I mean, we can't count that, but that'd be kind
of a disservice rule.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Actually to think about it, uh twenty kind of twenty
twenty one sorta, but that was still COVID ish, Yeah,
because they were supposed to do Inglewood that year, but
then they bumped that back to thirty nine, with the
thirty seven instead taking place where thirty six was supposed
to take place.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, And the only other time that they changed the
locations was I don't don't remember the WrestleMania but it's
the one between Sergeant Slaughter and Haulk Cogan. But they
just changed venues in.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
LA and who with surgeons Slaughter supposed to be played
by Yep, we were supposed to have.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yeah, that's true. That's true. The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation,
which is a nonprofit that works with organizations to bring
sporting events that will have a positive impact economic impact
on the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans,
stated that as part of a larger agreement, WrestleMania will
in fact be coming to New Orleans, but at a

(09:33):
later date. Reports have since emerged that WrestleMania may return
in Las Vegas next year or could also go international.
Indianapolis is also on the books for a future WrestleMania.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I feel like if they are going to because one,
I feel bad for the people who have probably who
have already booked their hotel rooms.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
I don't because I'm not one of them. Well, if
it doesn't affect me, it doesn't bother me. Does that
sound familiar to some people out there? Yeah, wait until
it does. But I like this.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Is I'm I'm I'm gonna be upset if it goes
back to Las Vegas.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
You.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Honestly, as a viewer, it doesn't have really bothered me.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
But yeah, people think it should be upside of the US.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
I don't want to watch wrestle many at two a m.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (10:31):
How dare they inconvenience you? Yeah, so you don't care
where it is as long as it doesn't inconvenience you,
that's right. Okay, Yeah, and just.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
In Eastern time.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah, I don't want to go back to Vegas.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
You know what, bring it to Charles torrest it, bok.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
It you cowards.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Honestly, they could bring it up to Morgantown.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
That's why I was gonna say, take it up there.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
To Milan Puskore Stadium.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
I had another message sent in to me, Okay, oh
on is this Ultimo Dragon? And I was sent Foulcore. Uh.
Foul Cour is a loyal friend and companion of Bastion
in the never ending story. He is the luck Dragon

(11:20):
through the series, So no, Foulcore is not Ultimo Dragon.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Glad we could clear all.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Of this up.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yes, happy to help, Yes, but no, I like.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
At first when I first heard this announcement and then
heard that it was going to go back to Vegas,
I'm not gonna lie. I was upset about that. I
was not a fan of that because to me, that
is just that's just chasing the money. Yes, and Vegas
is expensive enough. Yes, we've had We had the conversation

(11:53):
last week about ticket prices and how hard it is
for the average person to go to these probably did, yes, yes,
we did last week episode eighty two. You can go
back and listen to it.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
You could.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
I feel like, if you're going to do something like this,
it is going to have to be international date or not. Yeah,
Like you can't. You can't pull pull it out of
New Orleans just to take it back to Vegas, because
that just that seems like you're going off of a whim,
like it's it's.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Just listen, they really want to make money. We have
the Charleston Coliseum, we got the Go Mart Ballpark. Yeah, yeah,
we got Laidley Field. We could do.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Three locations WrestleMania two style.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Hey, we got all of them. We've got a bunch
of seven eleven's par Mar. You can put any of
them there. We got some big, old empty buildings. We
go to Saint Albans. Use the old k Mar. You
could house WrestleMania in there. It's not being used for anything.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
City. Use that kmart.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
We listen, we got so many empty k marts here.
What's KMAR going to do? Get upset and pull their sponsorship?
Yeah that's right. Yeah, come on, trips book it.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
You cowered. Also, we would like to have an interview
with you if you have come on the show.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Yeah, we'd be happy to have an interview with anyone
who would stick to it.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah, but no, I just I feel like if you
if you're going to do an announcement like this, because
we are just over a month removed from wrest Wanda
forty one, to make an announcement like this, it has
to be overseas. Now. I've heard a rumor that possibly
Saudi Arabia.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
I don't see that happening just because rumble it's going
to be there.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I get that, but also the Saudis have been thrown
around a lot of money to not and not just
with ww like you have to live golf stuff.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
But I'd like to see it in anywhere but Saudi Arabia, Yes,
I agree with that. I would like give it some Yeah,
the Germany.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Canada, they are going to get money in the bank
next year. But wait, who is New Orleans? New Orleans
is going to get money in the bank.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Shut up, I'm going to tell you all this. I'm bored.
I'm leaving. I'll be back in the next segment.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
He really is.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
He's just bounce out, but I'll definitely I'll definitely be
back in the next segment. I'm not leaving. I'm just
leaving right now. He's talking about WrestleMania and and money

(14:48):
in the bank and.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
People kissing saya.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Yeah, you know, I bet you all are going to
talk about all Japan Champion Carnival. Well I'm gone, are
you I.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Won't mention that? Yeah, oh you are? Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Yeah, Well no, things are awkward. Thanks for making it awkward.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Yeah, but yeah, I'm just I'm not not a fan
of it. So speaking of money in the bank, though,
for so far as far as the matches go for
the men's money in the Bank match. We only have

(15:33):
two participants as of the time of this recording, Solo
Socoa and La Night. There is a qualifier match on
Raw that has not been announced yet. A SmackDown will
have a triple threat match between Jacket Fasu Andrade and Carmelo.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
A Good Lord.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Still four participants to be determined. In the men's Money
in the Bank ladder.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Match, Uh yeah, but uh yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
So for the men's yeah, we only have two confirmed
Solo Socoa and La Night. We do have a couple
of qualifier matches next week, one on RALL that has
not been announced yet, and this SmackDown will have a
triple threat match between Jacob FA two Andrade and Carmelo Hayes.
But altogether we still have four participants to be determined. Yeah.

(16:26):
For the women's Money in the Bank match, we only
have two spots left and four participants announced so far,
Alexa Bliss, Roxane Perezria Ripley and Julia. The next qualifier
will be next SmackDown this upcoming Friday between Nia Jacks,
Jade Cargill and Naomi. Money in the Bank will take
place on Saturday, June seventh.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Asville Worlds could lie yes, at three pm and ASW
Bash and Beckley five. That's right. Yep, that's a big weekend.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
That is that's a really big weekend for professional wrestling
that weekend, and Josh was talking something about Toronto. He
was teeing up a segue for me. But I wanted
to getada, Yes, I wanted to get the money to
make stuff out of the way. Though it was announced
this past week the AW All Out we'll be leaving

(17:15):
Chicago and will take place from Toronto on Saturday, September twentieth.
AW will be doing a residency in Chicago though from
the Byeline Bank Aragon Ballroom from July sixteenth to July thirty. First,
they will get three collisions in three dynamites. Yeah, so

(17:35):
I I think this is the if you notice, this
is the year of AW like.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Moving their yea kind of breaking traditions.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, which I think should happen.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yeah, double or nothing made sense just because wrestling it
was just there last month.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Yeah, it does that, that will make sense.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
And also like I feel like.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
I feel like what they were trying to do and
this comes this goes back to Japanese wrestling. Again. They
typically will run the same venues with the same shows
over there. That's just kind of as their way of
booking shows in Japan. And I think and not that
certain things in put a rest WU won't work over here,

(18:21):
but I think that certain things. I think certain things
absolutely will not work.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
Yeah, the all out.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Being in Chicago all the time and double or Nothing
being in Las Vegas the whole time, I you know,
it's kind of lost its novelty.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
With it blockout fans who might want to attend exactly.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
And it's not like that A B was leaving Chicago
all together. Like like I just said, they're going to
do their residency there. They're actually doing a couple of
different residencies this year.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
They got that the.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
One in Philadelphia as well. Twenty three, Yes, exactly, last
thing before we get to on this Day and wrest History.
Jason mentioned it briefly as he was walking out to
take a break All Japan Champion Carnival. Ray Saito is
the winner of this year's All Japan Champion Carnival. If
you don't know what that is, that is basically their

(19:14):
version of the g One. So with New Japan Bro Wrestling,
their premier tournament is a round robin tournament known as
the G One G One Climax all Japan. This is
just their version of that. He will now face his
brother who is the Triple Crown Champion, June Sito on

(19:34):
June first.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
So no, over there, the Triple Crown Championship was formed
from three championships. Is it still like technically three years
or just the one?

Speaker 1 (19:44):
No, I think it's technically the one now. I think
for the longest time they did count as three championships
because you literally were carrying around three belts.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
But here recently doesn't.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Always mean your three champions or whatever. It doesn't, but
people because they don't understand unifications.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Yeah, well that and it was. It goes back to
again with the with Japanese culture in general and the
tradition of how how heavy that they are on tradition
over there. That's why, like with how they booked their shows,
that's why they use some of the same venues all
the time. Yeah, the Tokyo Dome will always have Russell Kingdom,

(20:27):
Osaka Joe Hall will always have Dominion. That's just for
New Japan shows. It's the same thing like with the
Triple Crown Championship up until here, recently. Yeah, it was.
It was three different belts, but now it is one
singular belt and actually the design is kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Three belts won championship or was it three separate actual championships.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
It was. It was three separate championships that were unified.
It's what they were.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
One they were a triple champion.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah. Yeah, they were known as the triple Crown champion.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
But I mean, like, if you look at title histories,
they would be listed as three different champions. I don't
That's what I'm getting at.

Speaker 5 (21:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
I mean, you can look it up real quick, but
I'm not I think that once they unified them, they quit.
But I'm not. I'm not one hundred percent short on that.
But I do know that the new title belt that
they have does take inspiration from all three belts. And
I can't I cannot tell you right off the top
of my head what all three belts are. I know
one of them is an NWA title. I don't watch

(21:31):
all Japan nearly as much as I have Japan. That's
just I don't know why I like it. It's interesting.
But anyway, on this day in wrestling History, May twenty fifth,

(21:57):
nineteen ninety four at the age of sixteen. Jeff Hardy
made his WWE debut at a TV taping in Eerie, Pennsylvania,
in a losing effort to the one two three Kid One.
The same show, Brian Lee was introduced by Ted de
Bassi as the fake Undertaker. Oh Yes. May twenty fifth,

(22:21):
twenty thirteen, the short lived World Wrestling All Stars promotion
taped their final events. It was titled The Reckoning and
took place in Auckland, New Zealand. The show would air
on pay per view in the US on June eighth.
The main event saw Jeff Jarrett defeat Steing to unify
the WWA an NWA World's Heavyweight Championship.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Stein was a two time WWE World Champion, which no
one seems to recognize.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
No, it might be because of that promotion. Yeah they
were what you wus say, Pristine May fifth, twenty nineteen,
we actually, uh you, Jason, I actually watched this one live?

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Yeah live?

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Speaking of AW double or nothing. It took place on
this day, the inaugural one, at the MGM Grand Garden
Arena in Las.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Vegas, Nevada.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
This was the first official pay per view under the
AW with the.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
First event ever.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yes, their first ever event as AW because Dynamite had
not debuted yet. It debuted in October of the same year.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
We had the fifth episode.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
We did, Yeah, we did. I remember I was at
one of my jobs. We were there, Yes, we were.
We've been to all three. Y the main event, Salt
christiercho devit Kenny Omega in the match to determine which
of the two would participate in the match to crown
the first AW World Champion at All Out that September.
Immediately after the match, John Moxley made his AW debut

(23:56):
by attacking both men. Earlier in the night, Hangman Adam Page. Yes,
Hangman and Adam Adam Page won the first Casino Battle
Royal to determine the other challenger in the AEW World
title match. Other notable matches on the card included Cody

(24:16):
defeating his brother Dustin Rhoades in a bloody encounter.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
He was known as Cody at the time.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Yes, he was not known as Cody Rhodes, but they
did have a workaround when him and Brandy would come out.
Cody and Brandy Rhodes on the court. Yeah, in a
bloody encounter and the young Bucks, Nick and matt Jackson
they were not going by Nicholas and Matthew at the time,
defeated the Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Junior, and Ray Foinix to
retain the Triple A Tag Team Championships. Speaking of double

(24:46):
or Nothing, we have predictions. Yeah, this for double or
nothing tonight.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
It's not double or not, but it's double or nothing
it is.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah, stay tuned.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
It's time for more than drill out here, Hollywood. Jeff,
welcome back, ladies, gentlemen, to the grill Out.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
I'm your host, Hollywood, Jeff Buddy, I'm joined by Josh
Cole Babe. Yeah, and the reflection of perfection definitely deception.
Jason likings.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
It really feels like it's been a week since I've
been here, but you know it's only been a moment
since this is the middle segment, right, uh huh, starting
off starting off strong. So we did talk.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
We talked last week about what we were going to
do for predictions this week because Jason and I did tie. Josh,
who was the champion, didn't like lost completely did not.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
I made history.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, you're welcome, and Bacon has the title now because
you're terrible, but we have to do uh, we're going
to do this. We're going to do predictions a little
different this time. Instead of the three of us, it's
just going to be Jason and I with special guest
referee Josh Cole.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
So without further ado, I'm just going to hand it
off to Josh and we're just going to get.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Started on this.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
Well, before we do do do, I had a email
from as important Richard Hopkins, who sent me a dragon
uh huh uh from the mascot database for the New

(27:07):
York Islanders, Sparky the dragon that is not Ultimo Dragon.
Glad we could clear that that is a mascot.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Yeah, anyway, Josh, alright, so we have ten matches confirmed
because you know they might add more.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah, well not necessarily.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
This is true because they didn't do they did collision
on Thursday this week, So yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
I was gonna say, I don't collision on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Yeah, but it's kind of weird.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
We'll see it's because of Saturday. Yeah. Yeah, all right,
so pre show yet one match on the pre show
confirmed Megan Bain and Padel before versus Anna j and
Harley Cameron.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Mmmm, Jeff, who I kind of don't care.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
You know, I kind of don't either. Well, I don't know.
I'm gonna I'm gonna go with Anna J and Harley
Cameron on that one. They just seem like they got
the more momentum going into this and seems like they're
really trying to do something with those two. And then

(28:23):
on the other side, Penelope for it has really been
doing nothing until now. Yeah, exactly. Megan Bain has been
doing some stuff. She just challenged Tony Storm for the
women's world title with the previous paper. But what is
it Tony Storm? Yeah, but she's done more than Penelope
Ford has. Megan Baine.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
We're talking about her because she's tag.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Teaming with Penelope Ford, A A J and Harley Cameron.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Oh well then yeah, Ana J is gonna win.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Yeah maybe, I'll be honest.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Anta J is the only one that I'm familiar with.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
Oh okay, man, so you're going, yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Why I job.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
You literally have one job on this.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
Yeah, I gotta call it.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
Got to make sure we say, I said, after my
long about way of setting up a joke. Oh who
is it? Who are they?

Speaker 1 (29:23):
What are we talking about them?

Speaker 4 (29:24):
Who are they facing? Yeah, it's gonna be Jay and Cameron.
All right, do I have to spell j A What.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
I heard Jacam?

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Alkay, So we're in the main car.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
This is not in the contro.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
Let's go find someone on the street to do this. Yeah,
come on, Gosh, I think the mute Mike who sits
outside and just stares at birds could come in here
and do a better job than Josh.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
All right, first match not necessarily the first match paper,
you just what we have listened. This is the Women's
Own Hard Cup tournament final. The winner earns an a
W Women's World Championship. It all in Jamie Hayter versus
Mercedes Money.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Jeff Hater.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
Okay, who do you hate?

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Everybody, no, Jamie Hater.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
Wait, why do you hate Jamie?

Speaker 1 (30:21):
I don't hate Jamie. Her last name is Hater, Hater,
Aid Hater, Aid Gaade.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
It's Money.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
No, I think it's gonna be Jamie Hater because Mercedes Money.
I'm honestly, I'm over it. She doesn't need to win,
give it to Hater.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
She's she's really starting to cool down as well, like
she's had a She just recently lost the title for
New Japan. So she's yeah, she's really starting to cool
down a little more.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Also, water sucks. Water sucks.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
It really really sucks.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Not only does gatory haste better quenches your thirds better?

Speaker 2 (31:02):
You know what's better than Gatorade prime?

Speaker 4 (31:05):
I disagree, hard disagree?

Speaker 1 (31:09):
All right, I don't.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Okay, Well, clearly you have no taste. I mean, anyone
who looks at you can see that's a pair. And
look at your hair. Now, I'm gonna go with the
same poony tail I've had since nineteen ninety two. You know,
born in ninety two.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
I was born in ninety Yeah, I didn't drow my
hair out until like two thousand and five. Four.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
Why let'd you grow it up?

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Someone to be different?

Speaker 4 (31:39):
How'd that work out for you? Sorry, maybe you should
shave your head be different. The mohawk, get a reverse mohawk.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
I saw some crazy mohawks, as I have no doubt.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
But as soon as you say like reverse arcs going through,
as soon as you say reverse mohawk, I immediately think
of road Warrior Animal Hawk.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Oh yeah, it was Hawk that had the reverse one.
Because Hawk had the reverse Animal had the mohawk that
way because in Hawk's mind, they could like lock in.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Yeah, they could plug in together. Yeah, I think you
two should do that.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
That sounds weird, yes, yeah?

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Yeah, all right, So aw World Championship match.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
So we have the Hurt Syndicate, Bobby Lash and Shelton
Benjamin the champions defending the title against the Sons of Texas,
Dustin Rose and Sammy Gevara. Just to note, the Sons
of Texas are are also the r o H World
Tag Team Champions and Dustin has also won thirty r
H World six Man Tag Team Champions.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
Yeah. I think this is going to be really close.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
So it's the Hurt Syndicate, right, Yeah, yeah, they hurt people.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yeah, it's now here's a here's an interesting question. So
arranging a thing here. MGF just joined the Hurt Syndicate.
Will he be involved in any way?

Speaker 4 (32:53):
I was gonna say the only way I see the
Sons of Texas winning is if there is I'm kind
of interferenced by m JF that costs the Hurts and
to get the match that. Yeah, but I still think
it's going to be hurt.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
I do too. I don't. I think it would be
too early in this storyline to have something like that. Happen.
I could see that happening in the future. But it's
just too early.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
It's too early.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Yes, all right, it's not too it's like one three pm.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
On a Saturday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
You should still asleep at this time.

Speaker 5 (33:31):
That's okay.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
Get a job.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
I have a job.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
It's evening.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Oh, I see my evening shifts.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Yeah, anyway, it's like my nighttime. Why didn't you go
to college?

Speaker 5 (33:42):
I did?

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Why didn't you get a master's degree?

Speaker 5 (33:44):
I did.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
He's from He's not from Arizona.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (33:48):
Well, I mean not everyone can have a doctor like me.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
That's true. So how's that going for you?

Speaker 4 (33:54):
Oh, it's approved. I'm sick. Yeah, he's walking yeah next week,
next weekend?

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Ye there, congratulations.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
Funny enough. It is actually from a school in Arizona.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Oh so University of Phoenix.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
No, no, no, it is. There's not university. I don't
think they do doctors.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Oh yeah, they are online.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
So no, no, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Right, Women's World Championship match, the champion, timeless Tony Storm,
facing her sort of kind of old friend and Mina Shirakalla,
who Tony rightfully changed music back on.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Yes, yes, because they were having a deaf rebel moment
with Shira Kawa and I'm going Tony Storm. I don't
think I think you are. Like, you're going to have
a good match between these two, and it may even
get to the couple. There might be a couple times
you might think that Mina Shi Kawer is going to
beat Tony Storm. But Tony Storm is going to win.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
As much as I hate to disagree with you.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Jeff, I thought you loved disagreeing with me.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
That's where we're wrong. Oh I disagree with that. I'm
going to have to say that it's going to be
Tony Storm.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
If I was predicting, I would agree because it sets
up a good match between either Hater or Boney.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
It's a thing you're not in this. Yeah, so keep
your opinions to yourself.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
That's right, all right? You got tag team match.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
F T R.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Cash Bil and Dex Hardwood approve facing Daniel Garcia and
Nigel McGuinness.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Ah, does that get the laugh that it does?

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Prove it. I've been doing that since I was a kid. Hey,
we're having mac and cheese for dinner. Yeah, I prove it,
and then I'd get grounded. FDR Okay, why why FTR.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
I don't see the hype behind Daniel Garcia.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
No, I don't either. I think they. I think them
bringing Nigel McGinnis into this is a way to try.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
To Garcia was the tn T champion. Who even remembers
that exactly?

Speaker 4 (36:25):
Yeah, yeah, I'll be honest, the tn T champion.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
He's not champion now, but the ones.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
I remember Cody Rhodes, uh Darby Allen Jungle Boy.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
You don't remember Brody? No, it was kind of short.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
It was, yeah, Scorpio Sky.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
What was it so short?

Speaker 6 (36:47):
Mero?

Speaker 2 (36:48):
I don't know, actually, because he didn't have any issues
yet when he lost it.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
It was because he dropped about to Cody and that
was the doll collar match. Was his vital match?

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Ended up being his final match?

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Yeah? No, he but he Yeah, like we didn't unfortunately
didn't know that that was going to be his last match. Yeah,
and then I don't I've never heard what the plan
was after that. We may never know that. I mean.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Kind I kind of think with Brodie they would have
gum World title.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
You know, now that I think about it, I think
that is a direction they were wanting to go with. Him.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
Yeah, I could see that.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yeah, like because he was I mean he was he
was a monster. Yeah, like it's in that doll collar
match was beautiful.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Yeah. With this, I think, especially with Stokely half away
in there, it's going to.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
Be ft R.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
All Right, a stretcher match between Mark Briscoe and Ricochet.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
Is it going to be the bald man or the
or the.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Man who got his hair after being bald and lost
the match?

Speaker 1 (38:00):
Yep, man with no front teeth? Yeah, Mark Briscoe, Is
that who you're going with? Yes, I'm gonna go with
Mark brisco on this one.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Oh man.

Speaker 4 (38:12):
You see, here's the thing. I don't know, because I
think Ricochet is a very athletic individual, but I don't
think he's really had any proving himself matches in a
W So I honestly think with this one, I'm going

(38:42):
to have to go Ricochet.

Speaker 5 (38:45):
We got a different one.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Finally, I was gonna say five match.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Six matches in five No six?

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Yeah, apprecio, yeah, apprecio.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
Yeah, this typically does happen sometimes.

Speaker 7 (38:56):
Yeah, this is why the scores were always so close.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
Anyway, All right, long list of names, because this is
the anarchy in the Arena.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Used to be the Stadium Stampede and as it will
not main event that we know of that that they
confirm that. Yeah, yeah, they're not gonna it's not gonna
main event.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Okay, all right. So we have the first Team Kenny Omega, Swerves, Strickland,
Willow Nightingale, which there's gonna be women in this match,
that's cool. And the Ops, which consists of Samojo, Powerhouse
Hobs and Katsi or Shabata facing the Death Writers John Moxley,
Claudia Cassio, Marina Schaeffer and will Uta and the Young
Bucks of Matthew Nicholas Jackson.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
M m hm.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
So you went to Omega ops or the Death Books
death Books.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
Oh, I'm gonna go Omega ops.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
Yeah, you see, I'm thinking death Books.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Really yeah, any particular reason.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Yeah, because then it will go to a U.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
The death Rider is formerly known as the Black Bull
Combat Couple in last year.

Speaker 4 (40:06):
Well, because I think it's going to go to what
is also called war games.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Oh uh, blooding.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Guts, flooding guts. Yeah, I think that will not not
this games, yes, not that I think this will lead
into that.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
Fair enough.

Speaker 4 (40:28):
Yeah, So I'm going death Bucks okay.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
The deaths oh right, the AW Continental Championship match. So
this will be under continental rules twenty minute tom limit,
no outside interference or you I guess lose anyways, because
that you go Ocada champion facing Speedball Mike Bailey.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
And this U There is an interesting statistic here recently
because Okata has had the title forever four hundred and
twenty five days and he's only defended the title nine times.
This will be his tenth defense.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
One of those was winning the Continental tournament. Yes as well,
he's only the second second champion as well because it
was Eddie Kingston end in him.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Ah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 4 (41:14):
So let me ask you this with how great people
say Okada is and in New Japan he had great matches. Yeah,
has any of that been seen in AW?

Speaker 1 (41:24):
No, you haven't.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
Him and Daniel Brian had Brian Aston had a decent match. Yeah,
Wrestle Dream twenty three. I saw something earlier today it
said that Okada's really taken Knucklemore's advice and might do
as little as possible in Amercico. It's like, and we've
talked before on the show about the Japanese style.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
And how hard. It is on your body, I could.
I don't blame them for not wanting to do that
night in the night out, because especially I think Okada
is like in his mid thirties now, so yeah, he's
he's getting his money. I'm going to Ocada with this,
though I do not see it going to Mike Bailey
at all.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
It's not going to Mike Bailey.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
It seems like they're also possibly setting up a match
for between Okada and Omega all in.

Speaker 4 (42:14):
Yeah, I mean that's that's what it's going to end
up being. Yeah, that's that's really over title.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Yeah, that's where the the end goal for all of
this is going.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
To be, all right, all right, a trios match Paragon
Adam Cole, Kyle Riley and Roderick Strong facing the don
Callous family can get the ketch to Cal Fletcher and
Josh Alexander.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
A callous family.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
Really yep? Why?

Speaker 1 (42:45):
I just like the Don Kallis family.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
Well, I mean good enough reason.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
I mean, yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Speaking of T and T champions, Adam Cole as the
currency T and T champion, Yes, and he hasn't really
done much with.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
It, nope, but hey, he finally got some golden.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to go bear gun.
I think it will be the undisputed air of of
the beara gun. There will be undisputed w W Are
you okay? You know what? It has been WWE longer

(43:26):
than it was WWF.

Speaker 5 (43:27):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Your boomers stopped calling it WWF.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
I still call it WWF.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
Well not now, not in this context.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
Yeah. Yeah, but there's still people who just refuse to
say w like get over it.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
Well, yeah, listen, there's there's just some people that just
they will not let go of the past. It's not
a nostalgia thing.

Speaker 4 (43:45):
It's a I can remember how that was the first
Grill Up Predictions champion. Yeah, talk about not letting the
past go. I just thought i'd remind you.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
That's history.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
It means something.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
It's like your chances have ever be loved?

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Geez, sad face. All right, So this might be the
main event, quite possibly could be the main event.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
I think, actually I think this one has been confirmed
as the main events it.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
Yeah, prove it.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Look it up. You got my computer in front of
you too much?

Speaker 2 (44:22):
Yeah, all right, So the twenty twenty five Men's Owen
Heart Foundation Cut Final. Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 4 (44:29):

Speaker 2 (45:28):

Speaker 4 (45:30):
Let's hear it again again, Jeff to the tcher, So

Jeff Petty. Jason's gone. He just completely left. Yeah, he

he's joining me right now, right. Jason stepped out towards
the end of the first segment, came back, did his

gone again. He left the important.

I guess, yeah, I don't know what important stuff that's
going on.

Speaker 4 (52:54):
By the way, Josh did look that up at the break.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
We talked about earlier in the show about the Triple
Crown Championship and they started counting it as one championship
after Jumbo Sudata defeated stan Hansen to unify all three belts.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
Yeah, they just carried around three belts for like twenty
years or whatever.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Yeah, it was it was like, oh, you said it
was an eighty nine.

Speaker 5 (53:16):
Yeah, when I happened.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
They introduced one belt and was it thirteen twenty thirteen?

Speaker 1 (53:21):
Yeah, so that was twenty four years. Yeah, they carried
around three belt geez.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
Yeah, but it was not three championship lineages.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
It was just the one no, yeah, and they yes.
So I thought for some reason it Jumbo had won
and maybe maybe the one belt was one off of Brody,
but Brody passed away in eighty eight.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yeah, he won the NWA International title off of Brody,
and then Jumbo beat stan Hansen to unify the titles.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
Okay, so so.

Speaker 1 (53:49):
He he unified the titles by beating two of the
scariest Yeah, I'm sorry. I would not want to ban
the match with Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brod. Yeah, not separately,
but definitely not together.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
Yeah.
