Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Guitar Jet Podcast, where you'll skyrocket your
knowledge of theory, techniques, and fundamentals for guitar. Welcome to
the Guitar Jet Podcast. I'm your host Miles and today
I'm going to be answering the question what is the
easiest way to play a C chord on the guitar?
And so I want you to think about the notes
in a C chord, CE and G and where can

(00:23):
you easily play the G note and the E note. Well,
you could play open G and open high E. And
now you need to incorporate the C note, which you
can play at the first threat of the B string,
so it gives you open G, first fret B and
open high E. This is the easiest way to play
a C chord on the guitar, and it's one of
the most popular ways for kids to learn how to

(00:43):
play a C chord on the guitar. Now, there are
only three notes in your C major triad, right, so
that means there are other easy ways to play the
C chord on the guitar. All you need to do
is find CE and G and play them in harmony. So,
for example, you could go to your eighth threat of
highe and place not a threat B and play the

(01:04):
G note and ninth threat of your G string and
play the E note that goot would give you G
nine and B eight and E eight. And that's another
common C major triad that's really easy to play. But
at the end of the day, your open C chord
is also very straightforward. And the first easy C shape

(01:27):
that I talked about is just a smaller version of
open C. When you play open C all, you're adding
to your G first thret B and open high E
is your second threat D and your third frat a right,
And that just adds more character and deeper notes to
your C chord. But long story short, the easy way,

(01:50):
the easiest way to play a C chord on the
guitar is open G first thret B and open highe.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
