Speaker 1 (01:51):
And welcome back to yet another episode of the Hated
Heroes podcast where people hate to love us love to
hate us. Of course, I'm your host, lb L capitne
he himself, and look, look, you may be having a
fast day, you may be having a slow day. But
either way it goes. It's your day, so please please
make the most of it. If there's the first time
(02:12):
tuning in to the Heroes podcast, we have a little
bit of.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
A disclaimer, just a little bit of a disclaim. Just
make sure we all.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Remain on the same page, okay, and that is, sensitivity
does not live here, but understanding does. Once again, sensitivity
does not live here, but understanding does. Ladies and gentlemen,
we're gonna tap into a little something recognizing that in
(02:40):
the current times that we're in right here, right now,
twenty twenty five, people stop teaching.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
They just started telling.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Okay, I mean a little bit, a little bit of
it started last year, you know, maybe over like the
last two years, where people just they stop teaching and
just telling. So so you have a lot of people
that have a lack of knowledge. They're just being told
things and they just run off whatever they're told, and
it's and it's causing more of a separation. It's causing
(03:10):
more of a separation because now people are just walking
through the world just waiting to be told things that
sound good, just waiting to be told things that sound good.
So if it sounds good, they much rather receive that than.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Hear hear reality.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Then rather hear them hear things that they actually need
to hear in order to fix what the issue may
be in their lives. And so it's difficult to accelerate
in life if you don't acknowledge reality. And that's just
what it is.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
You have to acknowledge whatever the issue you may be
having in life.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
You have to acknowledge that you can't ignore issues just
to accelerate that's not gonna happen. That will never happen.
No one person can make that happen. Okay, You personally
have to acknowledge what's going on in life in order
to accelerate to the next level of life. And that's
(04:01):
just reality. And if you don't like reality, that's a
tough break because.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
You live in reality.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
You live in it, Okay, So you can't not like
something that you actually live in, Okay, And that's another
part of the problem. You got acknowledge, acknowledge your life, acknowledge.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
The life around you.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
So there way you don't have to worry about people
just sounding like they're just talking about negative things all
the time. It's like, no, you're disconnected from reality.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
That's what it is. You're disconnected.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
And it's almost coming across a little bit delusional because
you're trying to accelerate and you haven't acknowledged anything. You
haven't you haven't sat down and said, Okay, well, the
reason as to why X is happening is because I'm
skipping over A.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I continue to skip A, B, C, D, E f G.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I continue to skip over that because I don't that
seems like the long route to take and I just
want to go straight to X Y and then Z no.
And you just continue to do this cycle and continue
to s separate things. It's almost like, you know, you
want one hundred thousand dollar car, but you only make
minimum wage. You want a hundred thousand dollars car, but
you only make minimum wage. You're not gonna wake up
(05:11):
tomorrow and be put in a position to get a
hundred thousand dollar car. Now, can you go out and
try to create that opportunity for yourself? Absolutely? And that's
gonna cost money. That's gonna cost money. But if you're
making minimum wage, chances are you don't have enough money
to create that opportunity.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
So therefore you're gonna need a little something extra.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
You're gonna need extra because again you're making minimum wage.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
You still have to live and survive.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
And you're making minimum wage, you don't make enough for
the hundred thousand dollars that dream. You don't make enough
for the dream. So that means you have to have
something extra. And the extra that you gotta have you
gotta acknowledge. You gotta acknowledge that, you gotta acknowledge what
you don't have in order to get what you want.
You gotta acknowledge that. So how do you get from
(05:56):
the minimum wage position to the hundred thousand dollar vehicle,
to the million dollar home, to to to the life
that you really want to lead? How do you get
to that when you are not in a realm to
do so? Okay, nobody can force your job to pay
you more unless they really truly want you to make more.
I mean, they can say that they want you to
(06:17):
make more, but unless somebody comes through and say, hey, hey,
Billy Bob's job, you need to now pay Billy Bob
eighteen dollars an hour so that a way he can
create opportunities for him and his family to do better
in the future.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, until that actually happens, you need to acknowledge what's
going on and realize that you're going to have to
do a lot, a lot extra if you want extra.
You're gonna have to do extra if you want extra,
and there's no way around that. You will never get
more unless you're actually acknowledging the less that you currently have.
You got to acknowledge that not only just less you
(06:54):
currently have when you're in a when you're in a space,
when you're in a minimum wage space. You need to
acknowledge that, acknowledge that, show respect to that, and then
build from it one more time. If you are in
a space of minimum wage in life, you need to
(07:14):
acknowledge that, learn from it, and then you'll.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Be able to level up. There's no other way.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
There's no other way, because again, unless you're privileged, okay,
and somebody's going to give you something and put you
ahead in life, and somebody's gonna come and pick you
up out of your situation and place you in a
much better situation, Okay, you gotta have some type of skills.
You got to have something of value to offer that
(07:44):
opportunity that you're trying to create. If you don't have
something of value, if you don't create something of value,
if you don't if you are not willing to acknowledge
the fact that you need more to get more, then
you're gonna forever be stuck in this Okay. And that's
currently what's happening with a lot of things that people
are hearing is like you're hearing all the good and
(08:07):
you're not acknowledging the bad. You talking about it is
not acknowledging it, acknowledging a problem in your life means
that you accept the problem happen, try to fix the problem,
don't just talk about you actually try to fix the
problem in a universal way, in a wholehearted way. You
(08:27):
try to fix the issue, and then the building starts.
The building starts. The building is not gonna start by
somebody saying the building needs to start. That's not how
that happens. And it's never happened like that, And there's
not one person in this world that can make that happen.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
It's just not. It's just not because you're not going
to go through and.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Change the entire world by just words without action, words
without action, It gets you nowhere. You're just it's just
a bunch of air. Let's just put it like that.
Those words just become a bunch of air without action.
And that's just the reality of it. But again, it
comes down to do you want to acknowledge reality or
(09:05):
do you not? Do you want to just hear good
and not.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Work to it? Not work to it?
Speaker 1 (09:11):
You can only work to it by acknowledging the problem,
by respecting the problem, not dwelling in the problem. You
need to accept the fact that this went wrong, this
is why it went wrong, and this is. Here's some
steps to start, not fully fixed. Here are some steps
just to start to fix that the problem, just to
(09:34):
start to chip away at the issue, just to start steps,
just to start, like you got to have a starting point,
and that starting point can only come from acknowledging, accepting,
and then boom, there you go, there you go. That's
with anything, that's with anything. There's nothing wrong. I'm sorry,
I'm getting all tongue tied upon myself. I apologize about that.
(09:58):
There's nothing wrong with dream. There's nothing wrong with wanting better. Okay,
there's nothing wrong with that at all, whatsoever. The issue
is is thinking that it's gonna happen without action. Thinking's
gonna happen without action.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
It ain't. It ain't.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
It never has and never will. Okay, it always it's
always gonna take action. Always in any facet, it's always
gonna take action, and that action can only come by acknowledgment.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Okay, that's it. Cars go too slow? You want to
go faster? You gotta.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Hey, I made I made this product, and it was
it was inferior. Okay, So I need to go through
and change some things. I need to physically go in
and change some things I need to then put it
in production, see how it's gonna work with the changes,
and only after that, now I can get a faster vehicle.
There's no way around that. You gotta go through those steps.
(10:53):
You can't just sit there and just melt down everything
old and it's like, oh, now I have a supercar.
You didn't go through the steps. You didn't go through
the steps. You don't know what issues are gonna come
from that. It just sounds good, and especially if you
with instant gratification, always sounds good.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
And it ain't.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
It ain't, it ain't at all whatsoever skipping over, skipping
over the leg work. You don't deserve to just be
rewarded from skipping over any legwork at all.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
What you do deserve.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Is if you're gonna take that type of shortcut, all
the slack and flack and and bs that comes with that,
that's the deserve that you're gonna get because you didn't
you didn't do things the right way, you didn't do
things the right way, you did not acknowledge things the
right way, you did not go through it the right way.
And just and if it's not a universal thing, okay,
(11:46):
if if you're not fully into it and you're only
fifty percent into it. That doesn't work either, just because
you don't want to deal with the other fifty percent.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
That doesn't work. It does not work, And so.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
People need to start back teaching versus telling, because telling
always sounds good. Who doesn't like stories? Children love stories.
I mean when you were a child, you love stories.
And some of us are still in that child like
mindset of loving stories, especially stories that sound amazing. Like again,
who would not want to hear amazing things all the time? Well,
(12:23):
in order to get things to be amazing, you gotta
sit down, come up with the concept of that book,
indoor story, put in all the illustrations, and everything needs
to go together. It needs to work together, Okay, And
at the end of it, you got to finished product
(12:44):
that you can now give to children that the world
will love, children of all colors, children of all the
sense off of this beautiful story that you put in
this legwork and you.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Put it out there.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Hey, maybe the first time it didn't go well, Maybe
your drawings didn't look good. Maybe people didn't really get
your story because it didn't look a certain way, it
didn't come across a certain way. Whatever, may be, but
guess what, you gotta go through that leg work in
order to get there. You gotta go through that leg
work in order to get there. Your your first product.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Might not be the best, might not be the best.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
But there's gonna be somebody out there that loves it.
I promise you, there's gonna be somebody out there that
loves your subpar product. They're gonna love it because that's
that's the best that they've ever seen. That's the best
that they've ever dealt with. They have something right here,
right now. It's instant, and it gratifies them.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Period.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Okay, but don't let that deter you from the fact
that you still need to get better, and you still
need to go back through and redo the entire book, Okay,
not starting from scratch. You're gonna take what you got, acknowledge.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
The issues that you had with it.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
And then you're gonna make your drawings better. You're gonna
make your font look different, You're gonna do there are things.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
You're gonna do to make that next.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Version of that book a much better version than the
previous version. That only happens after acknowledging, Okay, acknowledging what
went wrong, accepting what went wrong, not ignoring it, but
accepting what went wrong, and then you build from that.
That works in every facet of life. But if you
(14:33):
want to skip over all that, then you're gonna skip
over the learning process as well, which mean you're you're
not gonna learn, you're not gonna learn to do better,
You're just gonna continue to talk about doing better. And
again we spoke about it just a little bit ago.
When you talk without action, and when you talk without action,
and the action part is you going through the process, you're.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Just you're just blowing air. You're just blowing air.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
And so that that's a lot that's going on right now.
A lot of people are hearing a lot of good talk,
a lot of people are saying a lot of good things,
and it's all air.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
It's all air.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
And even the things that are being put in place,
there's not a proper acknowledgment being done. People aren't really learning.
It's just band aids, expensive band aids. And anytime you
bring money into a conversation, it really gets people's ears
perked up, it really gets people's mental bubbling, just like, oh,
(15:33):
you're talking money. And then you also said that I
can possibly get a portion of that. Also, you just
gotta people, just gotta make these changes. It ain't that easy.
It ain't that easy. It just sounds good.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
It sounds good.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
It's almost like somebody's saying, hey, I want the lottery.
You can have some to no. No, and yeah, there's
plenty of money in the lottery. But let me know
if that's ever happened to you, if you've ever just
been standing there in line, somebody one lattery in front
of you and it turned around.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
And said, hey, here you go too, this is how
it should be. Let me know when that happened. Please
let me know. Please let me know when that's happened,
because it hasn't. So you guys.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Today's episode, again was on acknowledging issues in your life,
in the life around you, accepting what the issues actually are.
In order to accelerate beyond the issues, you gotta follow
(16:35):
those steps. You gotta follow those steps. Nobody can rewrite
those steps. Like it has to be that way. It's
almost like, again the saying faith without works is dead.
That saying's been around for a very very very long time,
and it's absolutely true. You got to put in the work,
which is the acknowledgment, the understanding, whatever or may be.
(17:00):
You gotta put that in, Okay, in order to get
the benefit you have to.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
You have to. Some people don't understand.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Like if you're born into a family in okay, because
I mean, all families aren't the same. But if you're
born into a family okay, and the family became prestigious
and wealthy, Okay, if the parent broke their leg to
get to that point in life, to become the billion
dollar family, the trillion dollar family. Wherever, maybe if the
(17:30):
parent broke their leg, the child, the child will have
to put in some type of legwork, and that might
mean breaking a toe.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
That might mean breaking a.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Toe, not your whole leg, not an arm, a toe,
a pinky something something. But you're not gonna be You're
not always gonna be just placed in.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
A position just because the position is there. It's not
gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
And it doesn't mean may the best man win, because
again that's not the type of world that we live
in either. It's not the best man. It's literally comes
down to the individual person and whatever opportunity you were
able to create for yourself, you, you, me, we That's
(18:22):
what's gonna do it. That's what's been doing it, no
matter who's running what it's it's it's the individual portion.
And so you look around, see the things that you
have in your life, and you want more, you want better,
whatever it may be. Acknowledge it, learn, build, then accelerate.
(18:49):
That's all the time we have for today, ladies and gentlemen.
Till next time, y'all be great. Let them hate
