Tammy Aston is one of the speakers at the upcoming Finding Energy After the Toxic Impact of Trauma Summit. Join us on October 23–24: https://www.healthrivedream.com/FindingEnergysummit

Tammy is a Somatic Wellness Coach living in Cleveland, OH. Originally from Missouri, she grew up in poverty, surrounded by domestic violence. At 17, she made the decision to leave Missouri and never look back. She became an emancipated minor and joined the military, arriving in Germany for her first duty station at 17 years old. From there, she built my life from the ground up.

After 15 years in the military, including a tour in Iraq, she left to raise her daughter as a single parent, putting her through college and supporting her through her own journey. Raising her daughter is unquestionably her greatest accomplishment!

And if you’re wondering about the highlight of her career, she spent 10 years working at the White House under Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama—no small feat for someone who started with nothing. But even then, stress was a constant and she was determined to overcome it.

Therapy has been a huge part of her life. She’s spent years working through her own trauma and she’s still doing the work.

Why? Because healing isn’t a one-time event. It's a lifelong process. Through therapy, Core-Centering, Cross Mapping and practices like Restorative and Hatha yoga, she learned to release and integrate the tension and trauma held in her body, something she brings into her coaching practice every day.

As a Somatic Wellness Coach, Tammy holds certifications as a Core-Centering Practitioner, Certified Professional Coach, and COR.E Wellbeing Dynamics Specialist (CWDS).

She continues to study somatic coaching practices and is working towards her Somatic Coach Professional Certification in Sensation-Based Motivation Coaching through Somatic Coaching Academy.

What sets her approach apart is that her focus isn’t just the mind. She offers a balanced program that works from both the top down and the bottom up.

In her transformative coaching program, she helps her clients work on mental clarity, and also address the stress stored in their body, helping them find relief physically as they heal emotionally."

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
