a lot of curiosity about crystals. I wanted to bring
Patty on educate us about them. So welcome Patty.

So I didn't you get and I because I messaged
here today about Okay, what's the good crystal for my
for my brother who has this? And you're like, well,
right on top of.

It, yeah, Well, you know one of the things that
I that really drew me to crystals, other than they're
shiny and their rocks, because you know that can't be understated, right,
is that.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Crystals are a wonderful entry into the new age. There's
no way to use them wrong, right, Like you you
don't have to know what kind of a crystal it
is if it comes to you and you're like, oh,
I really like this rock. I think this is my

lucky rack and I'm gonna put it in my pocket
or I'm gonna put it in my bra I'm gonna
put it in my purse, and then good things start happening.
You know what, that is your lucky rack, and good
for you for finding it.

Right, Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
I mean there's you know, I'm a reader as well.
I'm gonna EmPATH. I have been since birth. But those
things to me, especially at the young age that they
presented themselves from me, all right, and it's it's different
for everybody, but for me, it scared me witless, okay,

(03:40):
because this stuff kind of happens and you're like, what's
this At the end of the day. With crystals, they
can be you can be as involved with crystals or
as passive with crystals, and the energy is just there.

There's no good rocks or bad rocks or haunted rocks.
There's rocks, right like you. You know, a crystal can
take a hit, a crystal can get overburdened. A crystal
does need to be cleansed sometimes, you know. Sometimes you
can have a crystal if you get a psychic, if

you have something really bad and you're wearing a crystal,
it can crack just from taking the hit. For you.
And I've seen those cracks keel over time too, which
is another really weird thing. They're from the earth, so

you know, I'm and I don't mean to say this irreverently,
I I am. I am very much a white light person.
We talk about that a lot, right, Yes, I am
in my practice in what I do, I am so
white light that I have Jesus over for tegu Right.

So there's stuff like mediumship that I feel takes real
courage because it's a gateway you're you know, if you
reach out to touch something that can touch you back.
And what I love about crystals is that crystals, if

you got the right crystals around, can literally prevent that, right,
Like crystals can reject negative energy from your space. They
can bring positive energy to your space. They can level
up the energy of your space and make it a
higher vibe. And it's kind of passive on your point,

(05:49):
on your part, and you know, I mean there's things
you can do to be active with the crystals. You
can do crystal meditation, you can do crystal grids, you
can program crystals to do you know, to have it
be connected to the thing that you want this crystal to.

Do for you.

Right, But you can also be like this, myroc It's
pretty cool, and that's a perfectly acceptable way to use
a crystal right, So I love their accessibility and I
love that they're getting a lot more notoriety now I've

been I've been selling crystals. I've been I've been connecting
crystals with their forever homes for about two years now,
and well, one I get to touch all the pretty backs.
So I love that about that. I also really love

connecting people to their crystals. You know. I mean a
lot of times when we reach for the New Age,
we are reaching in a time of crisis. Right, very
few people yourself I see as very much an exception,
which is one of the reasons why I love, uh,

(07:16):
you know, our discussions, because I love how you are
like ooh, I want to learn more about that, and
then you just kind of go and do it. But
you know, I would say, your average person stumbles into
the New Age like, oh my god, I keep seeing
this dark shadow in the corner and like what in

(07:36):
the name of God is that? And like something knocked
over the other day and I'm not sleeping right now.
How do I fix that? I'll humbly say, there's a
million ways to fix it, But there's also a crystal
that can help, right.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Often excellent, So sounds like if I'm I'm hearing your right.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
There's nothing that you have to do.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Crystals. I'm sorry, I'm not really making myself right clear,
but I always talk about energy exchanges is always there.
So I do that with rape, you do that with
being It's like if you do that with being an impath. Yeah,
energy is an exchange and it's always there. So it

(08:24):
sounds like crystals are are like an energy exchange and
the energy is there that you can the harness. That
sounds right.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Yes, yes it does. So I want you to think
about it for a minute. These crystals are formed in
the Earth over sometimes thousands of years, by applying huge
amounts of pressure to them, and they transmute, they form
into something else. How is that not going to have energy? Okay?

(09:00):
It like how how is that not going to have energy?
How is it not going to be absorbing that energy? Right?
If we are going to believe in the energy exchange
at all, you've got to take a second look at rocks.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I agree, I agree, so, and I think that I
think can be overwhelming. And this is what I get
asked all the time, and then the time and people
for you, people will say I want to know about
more about crystals. I want to know what crystals I

(09:41):
should have, and and and all that, and so then
we talk about crystal because theres I think there's lots
about maybe of the different variations of crystals.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
So I have about seventy five different types of rock
in stock, and I by no means have all of them.
There are some that are just too expensive. I can't
sit on that kind of inventory. I just my wholesaler
had some emeralds. They had some gorgeous emeralds, black tormaline

(10:23):
and macmerkasite carvings that were just kind of pricey. And
I did buy a couple because I was like, oh
my god, I have to touch it. But when I
buy a rock of that caliber, I don't look at
it like, oh, there's gonna be easy to turn around, right.
I look at it like, you know what, this is

(10:44):
a great example. This I can keep in my shop
and say, listen, if you're looking for something this kind
of quality, I can go to my wholesalers and see right,
Because there's so many. Like when I was in high school,
I grew up in Connecticut and there was a place
in Glastonbury called well, actually it was in West Hartford, first,

(11:09):
and then they moved to Glastonbury. It was called Viewpoints.
And I walked into this store. I had just gotten
my license and they had the I think that I
actually believe because I ended up buying the album. They
had Carlos Nakai playing his Earth Spirit album and which
is the Native American flute, and just really peaceful, really nice.

(11:31):
And she had every kind of rock imaginable. She had incense,
She had a whole library wall. I think half of
my books are from this place. And every time I
would get paid, I would drive to this place and
I would see what rocks I could afford, right because

(11:53):
even back then and back then, I look at those
prices and I'm like, oh my god, which they're still
called the I am paying wholesale what I used to
buy for retail, right because we're talking nineteen eighty six, okay,
And I have a good supplier, and I'm pretty good
at I am the good deals, and you know, I
try to have a mix of grades of crystal I am.

I am a firm believer in the humble tumble, all right,
So it doesn't have to be a million dollar rock.
I have pieces that I spent more than this little
New Englander would like all right, And I thought, oh,

(12:42):
this is supposed to help with this, this and this,
it's going to be great. And then I get the
rock and it's a beautiful rock. It's a pretty rock.
I love to look at it. Do I connect with
it and work out work with it? I don't. It's
just it, just you know. And then I've also had
like a three dollars piece of jewelry. Take a psychic

(13:04):
kit for me, you know what I'm saying. So again
it's very accessible because listen, man, if all you got
is the money for a couple of tumbles, start there.
If you see a rock and it's thirty dollars and
you're just like, I'm in love, you know what, that

(13:27):
might be your statement piece and go for it. But
there's no wrong way. There's no like, oh that tiny
little crystal aint gonna help bring you balance, please, it's not.
It's not about anything other than the energy and your

(13:48):
connection too. Now as an mpath, it makes it's easier
for me to kind of figure out like, oh, this
is for you, right, take a look at this one.
Oh that's perfect, Yes, that is for me right, or
I don't know, I'm not feeling that one. Okay, how
about this one. I think where people get gummed up

(14:11):
is that they see so many different rocks out there.
They see so many different retailers. A lot of retailers
will be like, do you know that your crystal is real?
Because if it's not real, you know, you got to
get the real stuff for me. Eh. That makes me sound.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Yeah, I know, so it makes you very sad too.
So it sounds like people can do it at a reason,
which is you don't have to have tons of money,
like lottery money to do that.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yeah. I mean, you can get a bracelet that can
help you to elevate your energy for six dollars. You
can get a pendant that might do the same thing
for five. It's not necessarily about the money thing, it
really isn't there.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
You could know that well reassure people.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah, and I keep. I keep. I have about fifty
different types of tumbles. And when I'm shopping, I find
that a lot of people that come to me like
the carvings, So I try to keep carvings in stock.
But when I see a really good deal on you know,
raw crystals, like you know, ooh, that's a really good

(15:31):
deal on raw citring, I will buy it. So I
have a mix of like raw crystals or polished crystals, points, towers, palmstones, carvings,
all different kinds of stuff, right, Because I want to

(15:51):
meet like when I'm talking to somebody when I'm trying
to get you know, coach somebody with crystals, I want
to meet them where they are. If you're coming to
me and saying, listen, and I'm broke, I'm afraid I'm
going to lose my house. What can I what can
I get to help elevate my money situation? Like, how
can I bring luck and prosperity into my home? Like
on a budget PI rate you can get a piece

(16:16):
of pie rate for like two dollars. Because again, the
rock is going to respond to your intention, right, So
just like and I think you're gonna kind of see
this as a good parallel when you use your cards.
If you don't come at it with the right intention,

(16:37):
you don't get good results.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
To you, that's right, And I know that absolutely absolutely
presh pyrate. I laugh because it's I have a real
example of this.

From my own life.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I as stagnant and my role my my current day job,
I was there for seven years, not moving out, not
moving down, but not moving up. I ply anywhere and
I found it. I found a position that was a
great pass to me. And I sat down with a

couple of people and I talked about it with my
my boss, and I said, oh, yeah, I can do this,
but you know, it's a higher position. It comes a
lot more responsibility. Would be a promotion. It's something that
I've been looking for.

Speaker 6 (17:31):
But can I do it?

Speaker 4 (17:32):
So? Uh, I know that.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
I use pig Wright.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
I don't remember what else.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
I think it was anethis. I love purple anyway, and
I infused it with baking and I wrote my intention
out and I put it in my raping box that
with the combination of the crystals and the raping and because.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
A little the crystals are going to amplify that raking. Yeah,
absolutely amplify.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Yes they are. And I was I was promoted in
and I put it out there to the universe and
I let it go. And you're right, And that's a
that's a great term to use, is amplify, because again,
it all goes to our energy and and what it

(18:33):
can do. I've seen it. I've seen it first hand. Uh,
you know this, and I'm always creaking your brains about
this is what I want to have on my life?
What crystal do I need?

Speaker 4 (18:43):
And all that?

Speaker 3 (18:45):
But I just I have a quick question. So they
meet with, they meet with someone like you, who's uh
you call your concierge. You say for crystals, crystal with
the most now partner maybe see if you didn't follow

(19:08):
me here, So are there essentials that people should have or.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
They need to if they If it's so confusing with
all these different types of rocks, then what would you
say would be the essentials? And then once you bring
crystal into your home.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Now you have this crystal, you know what you want
to do with it? Like what do you what are
you doing it?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Like?

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Where you would put it? You don't say anything. I
mean if you could answer that, that would be great.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Well, one, I'm not going to gate keep because it's
it doesn't I'm not a big fan of gatekeeping anyway,
other than stuff like hey, don't call a demon because
it might show up, right, Like, that's not necessarily gatekeeping.
That's like housekeeping, right you know? Uh so, But with crystals,

(20:13):
if you're drawn to a crystal and you don't know
what it means, and you're just like, oh my god,
that's just beautiful. It's so pretty. I have to have it. Congratulations,
you've found your rock. Find out what its name is. Okay,

(20:35):
you can buy books. No book on crystals is going
to be complete. I have a ton of books on crystals,
and I've read them. When I look at using a
crystal a new way, I don't crack open my books. Usually. Yes,

(20:57):
I do an internet search. And the better you get
at targeting your internet search, the easier you're going to
find your results. If there was only one crystal I
could have, and that was the only kind I could have.
To me, my my opinion is that amethyst is the

(21:23):
Swiss Army kniper crops. Right, so amethyst is a member
of the Korts family. Churts elevates energy, okay, and right
now where we are in this timeline, the energy right
now is kind of volatile, you know. And I don't

(21:47):
think it's just here in America. I think it's everywhere.
I think this is on a more global thing. There's
always good energy out there. But to me, there are
some thick, kind of sticky negative ribbons flowing through it,
and those are easy to get caught up in the
Chortz family is an energy elevator, all right, so they

(22:11):
want to elevate the energy of your home. Amethyst is
a member of the Kurtz family. Amethysts will do that. Amethyst.
The more that you carry it, the more that you
wear it, the more that you work with it becomes
extremely protective. And I you know, uh do feel that

(22:36):
if you have a rock that's very protective to you,
it is gonna, it is gonna. It'll take a bullet
for you, It really will. So so amethyst to me
is a Swiss army knife of rocks. The easiest one
out there to feel the energy is something called a

(23:01):
prophecy stone. My husband has been very supportive in my
crystal journey. My mother had a long term illness and
she lived with us for about ten years. She had
Louis Buddy dementia, and all of my rocks that I

(23:23):
had from high school, and I had a ton of them,
kept disappearing. You know, I had kids, I had mom.
I was eighty ways till Tuesday busy, and I'd be like, oh,
I should get that amethyst and start wearing that amethyst
because I've been feeling really. Then I'd go and I'd
look to be gone. And the idea with crystals, if
you can't find a crystal, its job with you is done, right.

(23:46):
It has moved on to find the next person to help.
So you're not supposed to feel really bad about it.
You're supposed to be like, Okay, that's fine. It has
done everything I needed it to do, so it's moved on.
I'm not gonna lie. I was feeling bad because I'm like, geez,
I really thought I had that shivalingam. Where'd my shivalingams?
Don't go? And I'd look and I wouldn't find them.

(24:10):
After my mother passed on, my husband was cleaning out
her closet and he found literally a full hat box,
like a real regular hat box, filled with my crystals
from my teenage years. So she'd been snitching them. My
poor little dimension mom had been snitching the rocks. Had

(24:32):
I known, I probably would have brought them to the
nursing home. Because Louis body d bension. You get to
a point where you need three shifts of care. You
can't one person can't do it because they eventually have
to sleep. And she ended up getting to that point
where I couldn't care for her at home anymore, so
she had to go to a nursing home. Had I realized,

(24:56):
I probably would have brought the crystals to her because
they he might have been helping to keep her organized
when she was at home, you know. So I didn't know.
But anyway, so we passed out. We you know, we
my mother died on December first of twenty twenty. And
he found the rocks, probably like on December twelfth, and

(25:20):
we said, oh, Christmas presents from Grandma. So we took
the box, put it on the kitchen table, and each
family member picked a rock and we just went in order.
So like, I was just so happy to have them back.
I just shar shared them with my kids, who were thrilled,
and my husband, who was like, Okay, this is kind

(25:41):
of cool. And so then about two days later, again
he's cleaning again, he found a second box.

Speaker 6 (25:49):
Wow, it's amazing, and.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
So we did again more Christmas presents from Grandma, and
we shared those crystals. And then I was like so
relieved because I thought my crystals abandoned me, but they hadn't.
They got snagged. So I started looking at some of
the online auctions that you can find and the prices
weren't weren't horrible, they were a little higher than I remembered.

(26:13):
It was a little stickertop. And then I kind of
was like, Wow, they don't really have the you know,
I couldn't find that feel that I remembered walking into
that crystal store viewpoints so long ago and being like, Oh,
look at all of these. So I found a wholesaler

(26:34):
in China and I started buying crystals from them, and
my kids got into crystals. So I'm buying kiss crystals
for the kids, and then I'm talking to other people
and they're like, where did you find that? Like I've
been looking for one of those. And then I went
to the mall and I went to the crystal shop
at the mall to kind of try and see if
I could relive that experience, and they were selling like

(26:58):
a little small amethyst point for like fifteen dollars and
it was fifty percent off, and I was like, Oh,
that's some I'm not going to say the word here
because this is an all ageous show, but at that
point I said to my husband, I think Mom is
kind of pushing me because when I was in high school,

(27:21):
I used to say I wanted to own a crystal
and bookshop. That was That was one of I had
two careers I did. One of them was which was
television production. I did that for about twenty years. And
you know the other thing that I wanted to do
is I was like, I want to own a like
crystal coffee and bookshop. You know, and nowadays I have

(27:42):
no interest in having all the overhead. You know, the
reason why that mall place has to charge thirty dollars
for a crystal that's you know, wholesale probably three and
a reasonable profit would be charging nine, right, is because
of all that overhead. So I said, you know, I
could probably and I set out instead of setting out

(28:06):
to be like, oh hey I have this, this just
came in, let's sell all this. Instead I went at
it like, okay, I want to have, you know, the
kind of selection that somebody who's like, oh god, I
lost my job, my boyfriend left me. I think I'm cursed.

(28:27):
What do I do? I'm looking for a rock? Right?
So I wanted to have that kind of variety that
I could share with people and charge not astronomical prices.
So yeah, So, and I try to keep different grades

(28:49):
different levels of rock on hand, you know. But but
really what I've been doing, like the concierge service, because
I used to do the live feeds and I just
like build a board and be like, here's your live feed.
And I did okay with that. But what I where
I really ended up getting the most joy and feeling

(29:12):
like I was really bringing this crystal to the right
person was in the one on one Like somebody who
bought for me from a live said, oh my god,
when's your next live I really need X, Y or Z.
And I'd say, hey, you know what, let me go
down to the I call it the Crystal Cave. My
husband makes me keep him in the basement because he's
afraid that we're going to break the house because they

(29:34):
there's they weigh so much. Right, Well, let me go
down to the cave and I'll see what we have
and then you know, i'd take pictures and we'd talk about,
you know, well, what are you looking to do? Okay,
I get that, what are you looking to spend? I
don't want to like throw something in front of you
and be like, oh my god, it's too expensive or whatever.
And then organically the crystal concierge service kind of came up.

(29:58):
I have consulted with a doctor who they're a science doctor, which,
by the way, I believe in science, thank you very much.
I mean the you know, metical profession. It's okay with me.
But this particular doctor deals with arthritis and she was

(30:19):
looking to augment her traditional Western care with the other
things that we all know has some help of working.
And what I look at crystals as I see them
as support. I see them as an item to focus

(30:39):
our intention of health right and focusing that intention of
health is obviously going to help. That doesn't mean don't
go for walks every day. That doesn't mean that you
don't go to the doctor. Doesn't mean forget your medication.
You can clear it with crystals. That's not my gig.

(31:00):
If that's what you're looking for, there is another person
that can advise you better than that. What I see
this as is a geez. So you have a problem
with your veins. You know, your veins are weaking or whatever.
You know, there's something called spider web jasper that is

(31:20):
said to help with veins, and that would be something
that I would be like, well, you know what, keep
this by your desk. You know, set set intention into it.
You want to cleanse it. Cleansing a crystal can be
as simple as like lighten some incense. It's all again,
it's about intent, right, Magic is about intent. Crystals are

(31:43):
kind of part of magic. There's no gatekeeper here. So
you know, you could even take some ground cinnamon from
your from your cabinet, light it on, fire, wave it,
wave the crystal over the smoke, and you've helped, like
cleanse the crystals. A lot of people get hung up
on sage. Oh, you got to use the sage. You

(32:04):
got to use the white sage. That to me, I
have tried very hard. That's a closed circle. To me.
The Native American folks, our Native American friends, require that
as part of their religion. So if I buy sage,
I try to make sure that I get ethically sourced
from a Native human, a Native person. One because we

(32:28):
want to have more sage in the future, and two
because I don't want to take this away from them, right,
it's their thing. I also try to stay away from
the word smudge. I call it smoke. You got to
smoke your crystals again, because smudge is a Native American word,
and I that's part of their religion, and I don't

(32:49):
want to really appropriate that, not because I feel like
I mean basically because I feel like they they have
had such a hard road that they deserve to be
able to keep that that that term to themselves. But like,
for example, spider Web Jasper assessing means in meeting basic

(33:14):
needs both physical and spiritual. It's a stone of connectedness.
When you're talking about health. It is said to help
promote vascular health. Right, So if you said, ah, you know,
my vein's an't that great, and I'm kind of my
doctor's kind of worried we're doing this, that and the
other thing, I would say, well, you know what, spider

(33:36):
web Jasper is said to assist in that, and so
it also does these other things. But they, you know,
don't take my word for it, right because even though
I write up crystals and I try to talk about
crystals and what they can do, they can do so

(33:57):
much more than that. What I call my write ups
is I call them snapshots because usually if I'm working
with you and you've bought crystals from me, so you know,
I said, I send you those, I send you like
the snapshot of what the stone can kind of do. Right,
That's not the end all be all of what that

(34:18):
stone can do. That is just like listen from the
conversation that you said, this is what you needed, this
is what this stone can do in aiding you with that, right.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
Yeah, I hear all of that.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
It's amazing stuff. So I know you've absolutely helped me,
and you've got some people, and I appreciate you explaining
at all about how the book and all that.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
But like, if you want to feel the energy, like
you know, hold the stone and feel it it vibrates
in your hand, the easiest way to have that experience
is with a stone called a prophecy stone. My husband
was basically kind of, you know, a pretty vanilla mortal
kind of guy, and he was like, I don't know,

(35:11):
I like the rocks, Patty, Yeah, sure, if you feel
like you could do this, we'll do this. And when
I got when I found prophecy stones, which is one
of those stones that I remember from viewpoint that at
the time when I was a teenager, I couldn't afford it,
and I found them in my with my suppliers, I
bought some and so they came in and shure it up.

(35:32):
I held the prophecy stone and I was like, oh,
I can feel the energy. And I handed it to
my husband and he was like, oh wow, I can
feel it. Wow, this is really cool. And he was
fascinated with it for a little while and then he won't.
Now he can feel other stones, but prophecy stone isn't

(35:53):
for him. He's a big, strong, strapping guy. He's very brave.
But if I want to, if I want to chase
him aroun in the house and have him go no no, no,
no stop, I'll chase them with a prophecy stone because
when he holds the prophecy stone, there's something about it
that kind of unnerves him. And that's just the crystal
saying I ain't for you.

So how didn't she as you get and I because
I messaged here today about Okay, what's the good crystal
for my for my brother who has this? And you're like, well,
right on top of her.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
Yeah, Well, you know one of the things that I
that really drew me to crystals, other than they're shiny
in their rocks, because you know that can't be understated, right,
is at crystals are a wonderful entry into the new age.

(43:08):
There's no way to use them wrong, right, Like you
you don't have to know what kind of a crystal
it is if it comes to you and you're like, oh,
I really like this rack I think this is my
lucky rack, and I'm gonna put it in my pocket
or I'm gonna put it in my bra I'm gonna

(43:28):
put it in my purse and then good things start happening.
You know what, that is your lucky rock, and good
for you for finding it, right, Yeah, I love that.
I mean there's you know, I'm a reader as well.
I'm gonna EmPATH. I have been since birth. But those

(43:51):
things to me, especially at the young age that they
presented themselves from me, all right, and it's it's different
for everybody, but for me, it scared me with okay,
because this stuff kind of happens and you're like, what's
this At the end of the day. With crystals, they

(44:13):
can be you can be as involved with crystals or
as passive with crystals, and the energy is just there.
There's no good rocks or bad rocks or haunted rocks.
There's rocks right like you. You know, a crystal can

(44:34):
take a hit, a crystal can get overburdened. A crystal
does need to be cleansed sometimes, you know, sometimes you
can have a crystal if you get a psychic, if
you have something really bad and you're wearing a crystal.
It can crack just from taking the hit for you.
And I've seen those cracks keel over time too, which

is another really weird thing. They're from the Earth. So
you know, I'm and I don't mean to say this irreverently,
I I am. I am very much a white light person.
We talk about that a lot, right, Yes, I am.
In my practice and what I do, I am so

white light that I have Jesus over for tea. Right.
So there's stuff like mediumship that I feel takes real
courage because it's a gateway you're oh, you know, if
you reach out to touch something that can touch you back.

And what I love about crystals is that crystals, if
you got the right crystals around, can literally prevent that. Right,
Like crystals can reject negative energy from your space, they
can bring positive energy to your space. They can level

(46:03):
up the energy of your space and make it a
higher vibe. And it's kind of passive on your point,
on your part, and you know, I mean, there's there's
things you can do to be active with the crystals.
You can do crystal meditation, you can do crystal grids,
you can program crystals to to do you know, to

(46:26):
have it be connected to the the thing that you
want this crystal to do for you, Right, But you
can also be like this, Maroc. It's pretty cool and
that's a perfectly acceptable way to use a crystal. Right.
So I love their accessibility and I love that they're

(46:51):
getting a lot more notoriety now I've been I've been
selling crystals. I've been I've been connecting crystals with They're
Forever homes for about two years now, and well, one
I get to touch all the pretty rocks, So I

(47:12):
love that about that. I also really love connecting people
to their crystals. You know. I mean a lot of
times when we reach for the New Age, we are
reaching in a time of crisis. Right, very few people yourself,

(47:33):
I see, is very much an exception, which is one
of the reasons why I love, uh, you know, our discussions,
because I love how you are like ooh, I want
to learn more about that, and then you just kind
of go and do it. But you know, I would
say your average person stumbles into the New Age like,

(47:56):
oh my god, I keep seeing this dark shadow in
the corner and like what the name, O my god
is that? And like something knocked over the other day
and I'm not sleeping right now? How do I fix this?
I'll humbly say there's a million ways to fix it.
But there's also a crystal that can help. Awesome, excellent.

(48:17):
So it sounds like, if I'm hearing you right, that
there's nothing that you have to do crystals.

Speaker 6 (48:29):
I'm sorry, I'm not really.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
Making myself right clear, but I always talk about energy exchanges.
He is always there. So I do that with rape,
you do that with being. It's like if you do
that with being an impath. Yeah, energy is an exchange
and it's always there. So it sounds like crystoles are

(48:52):
are like an energy exchange and the energy is there
that you can harness.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
That That sounds right, Yes it does. So I want
you to think about it for a minute. These crystals
are formed in the Earth over sometimes thousands of years,
by applying huge amounts of pressure to them, and they transmute,
they form into something else. How is that not going

(49:20):
to have energy? Right? Like? How how is that not
going to have energy? How is it not going to
be absorbing that energy? Right? If we are going to
believe in the energy exchange at all, you've got to
take a second look at racks.

Speaker 3 (49:41):
I agree, I agree, so and I think I think
can be overwhelming. And this is what I get asked
all the time. And then people will say, I want
to know about about crystals. I want to know what

(50:03):
crystals I should have, and and all that, and so
then we talk about crystal basins. I think it's lots
about maybe hundreds of them, different variations of crystals.

Speaker 4 (50:22):
So I have about seventy five different types of rock
in stock, and I, by no means have all of them.
There are some that are just too expensive. I can't
sit on that kind of inventory. I just my wholesaler
had some emeralds. They had some gorgeous emeralds, black tormaline

(50:46):
and mac americasite carvings that we're just kind of pricey.
And I did buy a couple because I was like,
oh my god, I have to touch it. But when
I buy a rock of that calib I don't look
at it like, oh, there's gonna be easy to turn around, right.
I look at it like, you know what, this is

(51:07):
a great example. This I can keep in my shop
and say, listen, if you're looking for something this kind
of quality, I can go to my wholesaler's and see, right,
because there's so many. Like when I was in high school.
I grew up in Connecticut and there was a place
in Glastonbury called well, actually it was in West Hartford

(51:32):
first and then they moved to Glastonbury. It was called Viewpoints.
And I walked into this store. I had just gotten
my license, and they had the I think that I
actually believe because I ended up buying the album. They
had Carlos Nikai playing his Earth Spirit album and which
is the Native American flute, and just really peaceful, really nice.

(51:54):
And she had every kind of rock imaginable. She had incense,
she had a whole library wall. I think half of
my books are from this place. And every time I
would get paid, I would drive to this place and
I would see what rocks I could afford. Right, Because

(52:16):
even back then and back then, I look at those
prices and I'm like, oh my god, which they're still
called that. I am paying wholesale what I used to
buy for retail, right, because we're talking nineteen eighty six, okay.
And I have a good supplier, and I'm pretty good
at I am the good deals, and you know, I
try to have a mix of grades of crystal. I

(52:40):
am a firm believer in the humble tumble, all right,
So it doesn't have to be a million dollar rock.
I have pieces that I spent more than this little
New Englander would like, all right, And I thought, oh,

(53:05):
this is supposed to help with this, this and this,
it's gonna be great. And then I get the rock
and it's a beautiful rock. It's a pretty rock. I
love to look at it. Do I connect with it
and work out work with it. I don't. It's just it, just,
you know. And then I've also had like a three
dollars piece of jewelry take a psychic hit for me,

(53:30):
you know what I'm saying. So again, it's very accessible
because listen, man, if all you got is the money
for a couple of tumbles, start there. If you see
a rock and it's thirty dollars and you're just like,
I'm in love, you know what, that might be your

(53:51):
statement piece and go for it. But there's no wrong way.
There's no like, oh that tiny little crystal ain't gonna
help bring you balance, please, it's not. It's not about
anything other than the energy and your connection too. Now

(54:14):
as an mpath, it makes it's easier for me to
kind of figure out like, oh, this is for you, right,
take a look at this one. Oh that's perfect, Yes,
that is for me right, or I don't know, I'm
not feeling that one. Okay, how about this one. I
think where people get gummed up is that they see

(54:37):
so many different rocks out there. They see so many
different retailers. A lot of retailers will be like, do
you know that your crystal is real? Because if it's
not real, you know, you got to get the real
stuff for me. Eh. That makes me sound.

Speaker 3 (54:55):
Yeah, I know, so it makes you very sad too.
So it sounds like people, you do whatever reason cost,
which is brain. You don't have to have tons of
money like lottery money to do that.

Speaker 4 (55:06):
Yeah. I mean, you can get a bracelet that can
help you to elevate your energy for six dollars. You
can get a pendant that might do the same thing
for five. It's not necessarily about the money thing. It
really is.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
Great good that well reassure people.

Speaker 4 (55:32):
Yeah, and I keep. I keep. I have about fifty
different types of tumbles, and when I'm shopping, I find
that a lot of people that come to me like
the carvings. So I try to keep carvings in stock.
But when I see a really good deal on you know,
raw crystals, like you know, ooh, that's a really good

(55:54):
deal on raw citry, I will buy it. So I
have a mix of like raw crystals or polished crystals, points, towers, palmstones, carvings,
all different kinds of stuff, right, Because I want to

(56:14):
meet like when I'm talking to somebody, when I'm trying
to get you know, coach somebody with crystals, I want
to meet them where they are. If you're coming to
me and saying, listen, I'm broke, I'm afraid I'm going
to lose my house. What can I get to help
elevate my money situation? Like, how can I bring luck
and prosperity into my home? Like on a budget pi? Right,

(56:38):
you can get a piece of pie rate for like
two dollars. Because again, the rock is going to respond
to your intention, right, So just like and I think
you're gonna kind of see this as a good parallel
when you use your cards. If you don't come at

(56:58):
it with the right intention, you don't get good results.
To you, that's right, And I.

Know that absolutely absolutely correct. Pirate. I laughed, because it's
I have a real example of this from.

My own life.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
I was stagnant and my role my my current day job.
I was there for seven years, not moving out, not
moving down, but not moving up, going anywhere. And I
found it. I found a position that was a great

(57:36):
pass to me. And I sat down with a couple
of people and I talked about it with my my boss,
and oh, yeah, I can do this. But you know,
it's a higher position that comes a lot more responsibility,
would be a promotion. It's something that I've been looking for.

Speaker 6 (57:54):
But can I do it? So I know that I
use hig Wright. I don't remember what else.

Speaker 3 (58:06):
I think it was anethis I love purple anyway, Yeah,
and I infused it with faky and I wrote my
intention out and I put it in my raping box
that with the combination of the crystals and the raping
and you.

Speaker 4 (58:26):
Know the little the crystals are going to amplify that king. Yeah,
absolutely amplify. Yes they are.

Speaker 3 (58:36):
And I was I was promoted in and I put
it out there to the universe and I let it go.
And you're right, And that's a that's a great term
to use. Is amplify because again, it all goes to
our energy and and what it can do. I've seen it.

(58:57):
I've seen it for a hand. Uh you know this,
and I'm always kicking your brains about this is what
I want to have on my life? What crystal do
I need? And all that, But I just I have
a question. So they meet with they meet with someone
like you, who's uh, you'll call your concierge, you say

(59:20):
for crystals, Crystal hostess with the mostes now partner maybe
see if you didn't follow me here. So are there
essentials that people should have or they need to I

(59:43):
guess they If it's so confusing with all these different
types of rocks, then what would you say would be
the essentials? And then once you bring crystal into your home.
Now you have this crystal, you know what you want
to do with it? Like what do you what are

(01:00:03):
you doing it? Like? Where you would put it? Yeah,
say anything?

Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
I mean if you could do that. Well, one, I'm
not going to gatekeep because it's it doesn't I'm not
a big fan of gatekeeping anyway, other than stuff like hey,
don't call a demon because it might show up, right, Like,

(01:00:27):
that's not necessarily gatekeeping. That's like housekeeping, right, Okay, you know,
uh so, But with crystals, if you're drawn to a
crystal and you don't know what it means, and you're
just like, oh my god, that's just beautiful, it's so pretty,

(01:00:50):
I have to have it. Congratulations, you found your rock.
Find out what its name is. Okay, you can buy books.
No book on crystals is going to be complete. I
have a ton of books on crystals, and I've read them.
When I look at using a crystal a new way,

(01:01:16):
I don't crack open my books. Usually I do an
internet search. And the better you get at targeting your
internet search, the easier you're going to find your results.
If there was only one crystal I could have, and
that was the only kind I could have, to me,

(01:01:40):
my my opinion is that amethyst is the Swiss Army
kniper cross. All right, So amethyst is remember the Chortz family.
Quartz elevates energy, Okay, and right now where we are

(01:02:02):
in this timeline, the energy right now is kind of volatile,
you know. And I don't think it's just here in America.
I think it's everywhere. I think this is on a
more global thing. There's always good energy out there, But
to me, there are some thick, kind of sticky negative

(01:02:24):
ribbons flowing through it, and those are easy to get
caught up in the Chortz family is an energy elevator,
all right, so they want to elevate the energy of
your home. Amethysts is a member of the Kurtz family.
Amethysts will do that. Amethyst, the more that you carry it,

(01:02:46):
the more that you wear it, the more that you
work with it becomes extremely protective. And I you know,
do feel that if you have a rock that's very
protective to you, it is gonna, it is gonna. It'll
take a bullet for you. It really will. So so

Amethyst to me is a Swiss army knife of rocks.
The easiest one out there to feel the energy is
something called a prophecy stone. My husband has been very
supportive in my crystal journey. My mother had a very

(01:03:38):
had a long term illness and she lived with us
for about ten years. She had Louis Buddy dementia, and
all of my rocks that I had from high school,
and I had a ton of them kept disappearing. You know,
I had kids, I had mom, I was eighty ways
till Tuesday busy, and I'd be like, oh, I should
get that amethyst and start wearing that amethyst because I've

(01:03:59):
been feeling And then I'd go and I'd look to
be gone. And the idea with crystals. If you can't
find a crystal, it's its job with you is done, right.
It has moved on to find the next person to help.
So you're not supposed to feel really bad about it.
You're supposed to be like, Okay, that's fine. It has
done everything I needed it to do, so it's moved on.

(01:04:22):
I'm not gonna lie. I was feeling bad because I'm like, geez,
I really thought I had that shivalingam. Where'd my shivalingams
don't go? And I'd look and I wouldn't find them.
After my mother passed on, my husband was cleaning out
her closet and he found literally a full hat box,

(01:04:44):
like a real regular hat box, filled with my crystals
from my teenage years. So she'd been snitching them. My
poor little dimension mom had been snitching the rocks. Had
I known, I probably would have brought them to the
nursing home because Louis Badi da bench. You get to

(01:05:04):
a point where you need three shifts of care, you
can't one person can't do it because they eventually have
to sleep. And she ended up getting to that point
where I couldn't care for her at home anymore, so
she had to go to a nursing home. Had I realized,
I probably would have brought the crystals to her because
they might have been helping to keep her organized when

(01:05:25):
she was at home, you know. So I didn't know.
But anyway, so we passed out. You know, my mother
died on December first of twenty twenty. And he found
the rocks, probably like on December twelfth, and we said, oh,

(01:05:46):
Christmas presents from Grandma. So we took the box, put
it on the kitchen table, and each family member picked
a rock and we just went in order. So like,
I was just so happy to have them back. I
just shared with shared them with my kids, who were
thrilled and my husband, who was like, Okay, this is
kind of cool. And so then about two days later,

again he's cleaning again, he found a second box.

Speaker 6 (01:06:12):
Wow, it's amazing, and so.

Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
We did again more Christmas presents from Grandma, and we
shared those crystals and then I was like so relieved
because I thought my crystals had abandoned me, but they hadn't.
They got snagged. So so I started looking at some
of the online auctions that you can find, and the
prices weren't weren't horrible, they were a little higher than

(01:06:36):
I remembered. It was a little sticker took. And then
I kind of was like, Wow, they don't really have
the you know, I couldn't find that feel that I
remembered walking into that crystal store viewpoints so long ago
and being like, oh, look at all of these. So
I found a wholesaler in China and I started by

(01:07:00):
crystals from them, and my kids got into crystals, So
I'm buying kiss crystals for the kids and then I'm
talking to other people and they're like, where did you
find that? Like I've been looking for one of those.
And then I went to the mall and I went
to the crystal shop at the mall to kind of
try and see if I could relive that experience, and
they were selling like a little small amethyst point for

(01:07:23):
like fifteen dollars and it was fifty percent off and
I was like, oh, that's some I'm not going to
say the word here because this is an all ageous show.
But at that point I said to my husband, I
think mom is kind of pushing me. Because when I

(01:07:44):
was in high school, I used to say I wanted
to own a crystal and bookshop. That was. That was
one of I had two careers I did. One of
them was which was television production. I did that for
about twenty years. And you know the other thing that
I wanted to do is I was like, I want
to own a like crystal coffee and bookshop, you know,
and nowadays I have no interest in having all the overhead.

(01:08:08):
You know the reason why that mall place has to
charge thirty dollars for a crystal that's you know, wholesale
probably three and a reasonable profit would be charging nine, right,
is because of all that overhead. So I said, you know,
I could probably And I set out instead of setting

(01:08:29):
out to be like, oh hey I have this, this
just came in, let's sell all this. Instead I went
at it like, okay, I want to have, you know,
the kind of selection that somebody who's like, oh god,
I lost my job, my boyfriend left me. I think
I'm cursed. What do I do? I'm looking for a rock? Right,

(01:08:53):
So I wanted to have that kind of variety that
I could share with people and charge not astronomical prices.
So yeah, so, and I try to keep different grades,
different levels of rock on hand, you know. But but

(01:09:18):
really what I've been doing, like the concierge service, because
I used to do the live feeds and I just
like build a board and be like, here's your live feed.
And I did okay with that. But what I where
I really ended up getting the most joy and feeling
like I was really bringing this crystal to the right

(01:09:38):
person was in the one on one Like somebody who
bought for me from Alive said, oh my god, when's
your next live I really need X, Y or Z.
And I'd say, hey, you know what, let me go
down to the I call it the Crystal Cave. My
husband makes me keep him in the basement because he's
afraid that we're going to break the house because they
there's they weigh so much. Right, Well, let me go

(01:10:01):
down to the cave and I'll see what we have,
and then you know, i'd take pictures and we talk about,
you know, well, what are you looking to do? Okay,
I get that, what are you looking to spend? I
don't want to like throw something in front of you
and be like, oh my god, it's too expensive or whatever.
And then organically the crystal concierge service kind of came up.

(01:10:21):
I have consulted with a doctor who they're a science doctor, which,
by the way, I believe in science, thank you very much.
I me and the you know, metical profession, It's okay
with me. But this particular doctor deals with arthritis and
she was looking to augment her traditional Western care with

(01:10:49):
the other things that we all know has some help
of working. And what I look at crystals as I
see them as support. I see that as an item
to focus our intention of health right and focusing that

(01:11:10):
intention of health is obviously going to help. That doesn't
mean don't go for walks every day. That doesn't mean
that you don't go to the doctor. It doesn't mean
forget your medication. You can clear it with crystals. That's
not my gig. If that's what you're looking for, there
is another person that can advise you better than that.
What I see this as is a geez. So you

(01:11:32):
have a problem with your veins. You know your veins
are weaking or whatever. You know there's something called spider
web jasper that is said to help with veins, and
that would be something that I would be like, well,
you know what, keep this by your desk. You know,

(01:11:54):
set intention into it. You want to cleanse it. Cleansing
a crystal can be as simple as like lighten some incense.
It's all again, it's about intent, right, Magic is about intent.
Crystals are kind of part of magic. There's no gatekeeper here.
So you know, you could even take some ground cinnamon
from your from your cabinet, light it on fire, wave it,

(01:12:17):
wave the crystal over the smoke, and you've helped cleanse
the crystals. A lot of people get hung up on sage.
Oh you got to use the sage, got to use
the white sage. That to me, I have tried very hard.
That's a closed circle. To me. The Native American folks,

(01:12:37):
our Native American friends, require that as part of their religion.
So if I buy sage, I try to make sure
that I get ethically sourced from a Native human, a
Native person, one because we want to have more sage
in the future, and two because I don't want to
take this away from them, right, it's their thing. I

(01:13:00):
also try to stay away from the word smudge, I
call it smoke. You got to smoke your crystals again,
because smudge is a Native American word, and I that's
part of their religion, and I don't want to really
appropriate that, not because I feel like, I mean basically
because I feel like they they have had such a

(01:13:22):
hard road that they deserve to be able to keep
that that that term to themselves. But like for example,
spider web Jasper assessing means in meeting basic needs both
physical and spiritual. It's a stone of connectedness when you're
talking about health. It is said to help promote vascular health. Right,

(01:13:51):
So if you said, ah, you know, my avein's notn't
that great and I'm kind of my doctor's kind of
worried we're doing this, that and the other thing, I
would say, well, you know what, spider Jasper is said
to assist in that, and so it also does these
other things. But you know, don't take my word for it,
right because even though I write up crystals and I

try to talk about crystals and what they can do,
they can do so much more than that. What I
call my write ups is I call them snapshots because
usually if I'm working with you and you've bought crystals
from me, so you know, I said, I send you those.
I send you like the snapshot of what the stone

(01:14:37):
can kind of do. Right, That's not the end all
be all of what that stone can do. That is
just like listen from the conversation that you said, this
is what you needed, this is what this stone can

But like, if you want to feel the energy, like
you know, hold the stone and feel it it vibrates
in your hand, the easiest way to have that experience
is with a stone called a prophecy stone. My husband
was basically kind of, you know, a pretty vanilla mortal

my husband and he was like, oh wow, I can
feel it. Wow, this is really cool. And he was
fascinated with it for a little while and then he won't.
Now he can feel other stones, but prophecy stone isn't

for him. He's a big, strong, strapping guy. He's very brave.
But if I want to, if I want to chase
him around the house and have him go no, no, no,
no stop, I'll chase him with a prophecy stone because
when he holds the prophecy stone, there's something about it
that kind of unnerves him. And that's just the crystal
saying I ain't for you.
