Speaker 1 (07:55):
Where I think I want to say, look a here,
Oh yes, oh yes. Who can make you strong? Jesus?
Who can make you? Confidence? Jesus. Yes, That's what I'm
(08:18):
talking about today. Confidence. And the first thing I want
to share with you is what confidence is. Confidence begins
with identity. How do you see yourself? So first, let
me tell you you are not what happened to you. Yes,
because some of us been through some terrible things, But
(08:41):
you are not what happened to you. You are not
your mistakes, your trauma, or your past. The Bible tells
us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. So God
designed each one of us with intention and on purpose,
and He has given us a purpose. Yes, you have
(09:03):
a purpose. When you begin to understand your worth is
not from people and their opinions about you, but from God,
you look at yourself differently. And that's what I'm hoping
that you take from this episode today, that you begin
to look at yourself differently. Confidence starts when you get
(09:26):
into agreement with God about who you are. Now here's
something you can ask yourself. Ask yourself, have I been
agreeing with the lies about myself more than the truth.
That's something that you can think about. So here's something
that you can write down. Write down. Break up with comparisons. Yes,
(09:49):
that's what we're going to talk about. Break up with comparison.
Just let it go. Stop comparing yourself with other people.
Comparison will rob you of your confidence. Yes, it will
rob you up your confidence. When you constantly look at
others and what they have or what they're doing, you
(10:10):
forget your value and your gifts. So remember this. Your
journey is unique and everything happens in God's timing. So
tell yourself on a daily basis that I do not
need to be like anyone else to be powerful. Yes,
be you. In order to increase your confidence, you have
(10:33):
to put some things in action. In other words, you
need to do something. Don't wait until you feel confident
to do it. The way confidence is built is by
doing something. Every small wind counts. Every time you try
again or speak up for yourself, you are growing stronger,
(10:54):
even when it's scary. Do it anyway. Sometimes our confidence
is low because of deep emotional wounds. See I get it.
Maybe someone just lied on you or slandered your name.
Maybe you were rejected or abused. Sometimes these things will
cause you to question your value. But that pain, that
(11:18):
one that hurts really, really bad, you must give it
to God. Healing is God's promise to us. And as
you heal, your stop shrinking and your start shining. Healing
isn't a sign of weakness, it's strength and the process. Yes,
strength in progress. Sorry, this is the last tip. Okay,
(11:40):
speak life over yourself. What you say to yourself really
does matter. Stop reminding yourself of past failures and speak
God's truth over your life. Say things like I'm chosen,
I'm strong, I'm growing, and i am enough. Proverse eighteen
to twenty one tells us that life and death are
(12:02):
in the power of the tongue. So I want to
encourage you to speak life now. I want to leave
this with you today. Confidence doesn't mean you have all
the answers. It means you trust God who does and
you don't need to become someone else. You just need
(12:23):
to become who you really are. Oh yes, think about that.
You don't need to become someone else. You just need
to become who you really are. Your authentic self is
what you need to become. Listen. If this episode blessed you,
share it with someone who needs a confidence boost, and
(12:47):
remember God confidence is the strongest kind of confidence there is.
And until next time, keep healing, keep growing, and keep shining.
