Speaker 1 (07:33):
Oh yes, I loved that song by BB and cc
win and so I tell you it's okay and I
just wanted to come and share that with marriages today. Listen,
we put God in it, it would be okay. Marriage
was never promised to be easy.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
You know.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Just think about this, two imperfect people walking side by
side through life. You will face trials, but when God
is at the center, there is always room for healing,
for restoration and for new beginners. Oh yes, listen, just

(08:15):
a little bit about myself. My husband and I celebrated
thirty five years of marriage this year, and we were
together three years prior to that. So that's like a
total of thirty eight years with one person. That doesn't
that's not easy. But what I can tell you, with God,

(08:39):
all things are possible. Coming from two different, totally different backgrounds,
totally different ways we would raise totally different but again
with God, all things, all things are possible. And if

(09:01):
I had to do it again, I wouldn't change it
because God has been so faithful, and that's what I
want to come and share with you. Then in Romans
fifteen and thirteen, it says that Apostle Paul, he writes,
may the God of Hope fill you with all joy
and peace as you trust in Him, so that you

(09:23):
may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
That's just so beautiful, isn't it. Not a small amount
of hope, but overflowing. That's the kind of hope God
wants to pour into your marriage. Maybe your relationship feels
really dry right now, maybe the words have stopped being kind,

(09:47):
or the silence has become too loud. Well, I encouraged
you today to don't give up. Instead, lean in, lean
into prayer, lean into grace, and above all, lean into God.
Healing and marriage doesn't always come overnight. It may take
courage to have hard conversations, to forgive when it feels impossible,

(10:14):
or to pray when your heart is just tired. But
I believe God honors every step you take toward unity
and love. He is the one who takes broken pieces
and makes something beautiful. If both of you are willing,
not just one, but if both of you are willing,

(10:35):
Even if it's just a little God can breathe new
life into your marriage. And if you feel like you're
doing it alone, just keep praying. Just keep praying, and
keep believing, keep hoping, and keep loving. Your obedience and
faith are not in vain. Listen today, I want to

(10:58):
encourage you to do something very simple. Speak life, Tell
your spouse something kind, Pray over your home, Ask God
to soften your hearts and draw your blowth closer together,
not just to each other, but also to Him, to

(11:20):
God himself. You may not see it right now, but
hope is rising, love is still possible, and healing is coming.
Oh yes, well, I want to thank you for spending
this short time with me. If this episode touched your heart,

(11:40):
please share it with someone who may need a little
help today, who may be needing a little hope today.
And remember, no matter what you face, God is still
in the business of restoring marriages. Until next time, stay
in courage, stay prayerful, and always believe that with God

(12:03):
all things, all things are possible. Thank you for a
spending time with me here on the Hell of Touch podcast.
If this episode gave you something to think about, I'd
