that from you. I see you smarty.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Y'all want some more? Y'all want some of that? Are
y'all sure? Y'all want some more of that?

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Wow? I'm telling you I really love that song. So
you know, when you see yourself down, just smile. You know, well,
welcome back. And I'm talking about letting go of unrealistic
expectations and embracing grace. We're talking about the danger of perfectionism. Now,

(08:23):
when you live under the weight of perfectionism, you're never enough,
not smart enough, not holy enough, not strong enough. You
measure your worth by your performance. And when you fall short,
and we all do, you feel like a failure. But
listen up, that is not how God sees you. Psalms

(08:47):
one hundred and three and fourteen tells us, for he
knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.
God doesn't expect perfection from us. He offers grace. He
knows your struggles, your limits, and your wounds, and He
still loves you fully the same. Perfectionism is dangerous because

(09:13):
it leads to burnout, anxiety, self criticism, and even spiritual exhaustion.
It keeps us stuck, afraid to take risks or move
forward because we might mess up, and it also robs
us of joy. But here's the truth. God never asks
you to be perfect. He asks you to trust him.

(09:37):
Tewod Corinthians twelve and nine reminds us, My grace is
sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Listen,
weakness is not failure. It is where His strength shines.
You don't have to have it all together. You just

(09:59):
have to stay cold, close to the one who holds
all things, all things together. So listen, Let go of
the pressure, lay down the unrealistic expectations. You're not called
to be perfect, You're called to be faithful. So take
small steps, make peace with your imperfections, and give yourself

(10:22):
the same grace that God gives you when you fail.
Fall into his arms when you're tired, rest in his presence,
and when you're unsure, remember you are loved just as
you are. Listen, I want to pray with you, dear

(10:43):
heaven Father. We come before you, weary from trying to
be perfect. Father asks that you help us to stop
striving and start resting in your grace. Father asks that
you teach us to see ourselves through your loving eyes.
Let us walk in freedom, knowing that our worth is

(11:04):
found in being your beloved, not in how well we perform.
In Jesus' name, I pray in this mess. If this
message spoke to your heart, share it with someone who
needs to be reminded they are enough in Christ. And
