Speaker 1 (06:29):
And olaha, oh yes, oh yes, he has never lost

(06:52):
the battle and he never never will. I just love
that song by C. C. Wyus. All right, so we're
talking about toxic work environments. Okay, First of all, the
first thing we need to do is acknowledge the pain.
So let's begin by naming the reality. Toxic work environments

(07:14):
can feel like spiritual warfare, filled with gossip, dishonor, manipulation
and chaos. You know, maybe you're carrying anxiety every time
your phone rings are on dreading Monday morning before Sunday
even ended. Yet. But let's take a look at this
script Psalms thirty four and eighteen, and it says that

(07:36):
the Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves
those who are crushed in spirit. You know, God sees
what you're going through, and he hears the words they
say behind your back. He feels the tears you've cried
on your lunch break. The pain in you know is
not visible. It's not invisible to God. God sees your pain.

(08:01):
But you have to protect your peace in a toxic atmosphere.
Peace is a precious gift that you must guard. Let's
check the scripture out Philippians four and seven. It reminds
us and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds. In Christ Jesus,

(08:22):
now here a few ways that you can guard your heart,
I mean, you know, guard your peace at work. Start
your day with prayer each day. Just start your day
out with prayer before entering that building or before you
you know, log in or clock in, Just start your
day out with prayer. Limit emotional exposure to toxic people.

(08:42):
You know, just speak the truth and love, but also
set healthy boundaries. You don't always have to just hang
around toxic people. And also have a sacred space at work,
even if it'sn't just in your car or your desk.
You take a break where you could just pause and breathe.
These are ways because it's going to be very important

(09:04):
that you learn how to protect your peace in a
toxic work environment. Also, you can ask God for his
wisdom and disarnment. Sometimes we're called to stay, you know,
in that particular place, but other times God is preparing
you for something greater. So he's preparing you for a shift.

(09:25):
So let's look at this scripture James one and the
fifth verse. It says, if any of you lack wisdom,
let him ask of God, who gives all liberately and
without reproach. So ask God, Lord, is this a season
of growth or a signal to move? What are you
teaching me here? What fruit do you want to produce

(09:47):
in me in this place? So it's always good to
ask God for his wisdom and desarnment. Then, you know,
toxic people around you doesn't have the become toxic within you.
You don't have to become toxic because of the people
that surrounding you. Now, so let's check this scripture out

(10:11):
Ephesians four thirty one and thirty two. It says, let
all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander
be put away. From you. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted,
forgiven one another as God in Christ forgave you. Because
forgiveness doesn't excuse their behavior. It does not excuse what

(10:33):
they did to you. But it frees your heart from
being chained to their offense, you know. So it's all
about freeing yourself and hold on to hope. Let this
be an encouragement to you today. God would not leave
you where he found you, even in a toxic place.
He can promote you, preserve you, and provide for you.

(10:57):
Another scripture I really like is Jeremiah the twenty ninth
chapter and eleven first, and it tells us for I
know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you
a hope and a future. And this job doesn't define
your words. It doesn't. God does, and he has something

(11:18):
much better either write where you are or in the
place he's leading you to next. So no, let me
pray for you. Did have the Father. For every listener
working in a toxic environment that's under the sound of
my voice, Father, I pray for peace and protection and

(11:39):
divine wisdom. I ask that you surround them with your presence,
restore their confidence. Father, teach them how to set boundaries
in love and in your perfect time, and lead them
to greener pastures where they can thrive. In Jesus's name,
I pray. Listen, thank you for joining me today on

your life. Just keep trusting Him, keep shining his light
