We love you guys, and uhthank you for having us back.
Have you anything to say, dereNo, I think you just said it.
Say something to the people. Roshima. Hi. Everybody, good to
(01:12):
be back. That's it. That'sit. Let's go okay. So,
you know, it's something that's beenwearing heavy on me and we've seen a
lot of things in this world,a lot of uh current events, world
(01:36):
events and the body of Christ andnot even just the Body of Christ,
but people are seemed to be losinghope. You know. We we try
to keep our faith and know thatGod's gonna work it out on our behalf.
But it's so much, it's somany things that's just been happening,
(01:57):
and that we just seem to belosing and our hope. So we just
want to talk to you guys todayand really just sit down and give you
guys some reasons to have hope.We want you know, we want you
to know that God has has apurpose for your lives and that you know
(02:21):
he's not seeing as and not makingpreparations to take care of it. So
we just want to get with youguys today then, and I'm hoping that
while I'm talking, you might wantto get a paper and a pen or
something to write with, because Ihave some scriptures to give to you guys,
(02:42):
so you can look at the scripturesand read the scriptures so you can
have this in your spirit that knowsthat your hope is not all lost.
That is that he that he hearsyou, and that he knows what's going
on, and that we should standfirm on his word to know that we
are all good. Excuse me,So we're just gonna go ahead and dive
(03:09):
in. Is that okay? That'sokay? Okay. So the first first
thing we were gonna talk about so, and I just want to let everybody
know I didn't if you've ever losthope or just think that the times you're
in, the times we're in rightnow are just causing you to be just
(03:30):
no less than optimistic. I justwanted you to know that as long as
you have God, as long asyou have your faith, you'll always come
through. It'll always work out.And hopefully by the time we're done with
this show, you'll know that. And we'll give you some points to ponder,
some things to pray on, scripturesto read to just let you know
(03:51):
that it'll always work out. Andso I just want you to be optimistic
and hopeful as we talk about reasonsto have hope. Amen. Yeah,
An, so we know. Ijust want to go through something real quick
between what is hope and what isfaith. So I know, faith is
(04:15):
what it says, it's a completetrust or confidence and someone or something.
That's what faith is. So whenwe say, well, what is hope,
Well, hope is it's the strength. Well, it's the confidence of
expectation of what God has promised andhis strength and his faithfulness. So when
(04:44):
we're looking at faith, we're we'rebelieving. But when we're looking at hope.
We're we're believing that we're gonna havefaith and what God is going to
do, you know, And it'sit's plenty of reasons why we are on
the earth. You know, itsays, you know, I believe in
revelations. It speaks on you know, we are here for his good pleasure.
(05:09):
So we are here for him.You know, we're here to do
what He wants us to do.But you know, it's hard when we
uh see so much going around inthis world that is just that it's just
foolishness. Do you see you hearthat? It was like a mighty Russian
(05:32):
way that just came through here,y'all. That's fire. Did y'all hear
that? Conditi bol So I'm herewe go, y'all, let's go.
Let's see. That's the hope I'mtalking about. That's what I'm talking about.
Yeah, So listen, hope.Faith, it's a constant reminder of
(05:59):
what God is going to do.His word does not turn back void.
You know, He's gonna do andHe's gonna perform what he say he's gonna
do. You know. Uh,it's a it's a lot of issues that
we're dealing with. That's a lotof issues that we're dealing with. But
you know what one of the oneof the scriptures I wanna first start off
(06:24):
with, and when we're talking abouthis word, and that is in Some
one nineteen, the one hundred andfourteenth verse, and that reads, your
word is my source of hope.I mean within a nut shield, we
(06:45):
see the psalm to say, youknow, his his word, his word,
you know, his word does notturn back void. He is not
a guy that lies, and he'snot want to repent. His word is
hope because we know he's going toperform it. So that within itself,
if anything that is happening, letthis word be your be your uh,
(07:09):
your guide. You want to say, you know you here? Are you
here? Yeah? I'm listening.I was. I was just letting you
do your spiel, you know. And I actually had a paper here and
I can't find it. I hadit. I don't know where I put
(07:30):
it, Like, what did Ido in those two minutes that I lost
my paper? So we read Psalmsone nineteen, what's the next person?
The next verse is Jeremiah thirty one, and the third verse my thirty one
(07:54):
and a third and it reads, the Lord appeared to us in the past
saying, I have loved you withan everlasting love. I have drawn you
with unfailing kindness. Yeah, that'swhat it's saying. So the message of
hoping that is that Jesus loves you, that the Lord loves you. That's
(08:16):
all you got for me? NolLike, is that is that where we're
going with this? That's what itsays. Okay, all right, all
right, let me I'm going there, ye because see you know what I'm
saying. I mean, come on, God loves you. He loves you
too, shaver ye. So butso you know, I you know,
(08:43):
I'll speak for myself. I knowsometimes when I don't feel love, I
don't know if he is there, you know, because you know, I
can go through a thing and I'mhoping and praying, you know, I'm
hoping and praying that I like, like, like, I fill out for
(09:03):
positions for work, right and Iwant to do something fresh and a new,
you know, And I want tomove the way God wants me to
move. And everything. Every timethat I've filled out something, I've been
shot down. Every time I dosomething, I don't get it, you
know. And I I stayed almostin a in a state of hopelessness because
(09:26):
I'm like, why, you know, why is this not happening? But
in the in that verse and Jeremiahthirty one of the third verse, he
lets you know that you know hislove is everlasting, that he loves you
unconditionally, that he knows you knowwhat's good for you. Well, what
I got out of that is actuallyJeremiah thirty one and four the next verse,
(09:54):
because it says I will build youup again, and you, Virgin
Israel, will be rebuilt. Andfor me, that three and four are
saying, even though you're a childof God, and even though you have
faith and you do what you're supposedto do. You know, a lot
of times we think, because we'rea children of God, that we're not
gonna face problems and we're not gonnahave adversities, and you know, as
(10:18):
long as you believe in God,everything's gonna be okay. And that's not
true, just because you know, the Word tells us we will have struggles,
we will have hills and valleys, right, And that tells me,
you know, even though I'm inthis place now, God will rebuild me.
He'll lift me back up as longas I stay focused and stay prayerful
and what he has and and havehope that he believed that he will do
(10:43):
what he said, and that Ibelieve in his work and I believe in
him, And I think my point, my first point was gonna be as
we were talking about hope and wewere talking about the definition I think would
get it's confused about hope is thatpeople treat hope like it's a wish,
(11:03):
And it's not a wish. Hopeis the precursor to faith. Am I
saying that right? Yes, yesyou are, so, you know,
according to my hope, my hopeis my expectation. It's not wish.
I'm not treating God like he's agenie in a bottle. I'm saying I
believe in him and I have hope, and I believe. Because of that
(11:26):
hope, I believe that whatever Hehas told me it's coming in my life,
it's gonna come. I'm believing inthese blessings that He's promised me and
for me, hope is that confidencethat the blessings that God has promised me
will come to pass. Okay,So if we're gonna if we're gonna go
there. What about when let's talkabout current events world, current events that
(11:52):
we see this happening, you know, and we're worried about our we worried
about our children. That's dealing withsome of these issues. You know.
How how does that incorporate your hopeand your faith? Then? But I
need to stay in that vein withhope. How does that? How do
you keep that hope alive? Youknow what I mean? Like like Jesse,
keep hope alive? How do you? How do you know what I'm
(12:13):
saying? How do you keep thatalive when you see the foolishness that is
happening now, you know with Trumpand what with other situations that's dealing in
the with the government, you know, and then you got situations with with
like even new technology that's almost takenover like AI. You know, like
(12:37):
you know, I can get apicture in you and and put you somewhere
and Tim Buck two somewhere and youright here in Cleveland. You know,
I I hear what you saying.I think for me, I believe that
first of all, if you're gonnabe hopeful, you have to stay hopeful.
(12:58):
You can't be up and down andyou have to stay hopeful, And
for me, hope doesn't mean Iunderstand or that I even know what's coming.
That's that's really what hope is.It's like you don't know what's coming,
you don't know, you don't knowhow God is gonna fix it.
You just know he is. That'shope. That's faith, right, And
(13:22):
I don't know what the answer isgoing to be as far as what AI
is going to mean next year orfive years from now and how situations are
going to turn out. But Iknow his word says all things will work
good, work to my good. And I know his word tells me that
I'm gonna be victorious because I'm hischild. So my hope keeps me mindful,
(13:48):
and it keeps me studying and prayingand believing that that's what's gonna happen.
I don't a lot of times,you can't get caught up in how
things look because something's really are outthere to distract the children of God from
God. You know, I can'tbe so focused on what's going on,
(14:09):
not saying that I need to beignorant and I that I'm not going to
pay attention, but I can't beso focused on what's going on in the
world that I lose sight of whatGod has told me about me, and
what he's told me about my family, and what he's told me about my
purpose in this world, because weall have a purpose. It's not just
(14:30):
a select group of people. Everybody, if you are allowed to live,
you have a purpose, so youI I don't want to be so focused
on what's going on in the worldthat I lose sight of that. And
I watch the news and all thenews outlets, and I like to keep
up on things, but there aredays where I don't watch any of it.
(14:52):
I need to pray, I needto talk to God about some things.
There's some days I don't get onsocial media. You know, I
just unplugged cause I need to stayfocused on what God has told me about
me. And if I'm not focused, I don't know how to pray.
I don't know how to have Idon't know. My faith is moving around,
no, my faith, my faithis not studying. My hope is
(15:13):
dwindling. And that's not a placeI want to be. That's not a
place that I can afford to getto. I've I've had moments for I've
gotten that way, but at thisthing, we have to be mindful.
That's especially in the times we're livingnow. We need to be more hopeful
than ever. You have to believestuff. Things are gonna change, and
(15:35):
things are gonna work for the forthe good of the of the kingdom.
Here let me let me switch intothe other lane and and and slow it
down about till about a fifty fivemiles because I want to touch on this
because you said you made a pointwhere you said when it comes to you
(15:56):
and how God is with you.You know, I just want to reach
out to our audience right now andspeak on this. You know, we
are not perfect. We have allnone of us are perfect. None no,
not one, no not one.And we have all done some things
(16:18):
that we're not proud of. Andyou know, condemnation hits us sometimes.
And and the Word says, don'tfall into condemnation. Don't let the enemy
think that God does not love you, or think that God doesn't see you
and does not forgive you. Andbecause this goes on to my next scripture,
(16:40):
and that's uh Psalm one forty fiveeighth and the ninth verse, and
he speaks on God has grace andcompassion for you. The Word of the
Lord says. The Lord is graciousand compassionate, slow to anger, rich
and love. The Lord is goodto all. He has compassion on all
(17:04):
he has made. So I justwant to just reach out to you right
now to let you know that Godis so slow that I mean, it's
I mean you can't even say longsuffering. I mean, because that's how
slow his anger is towards us,because he knows everything about us. So
(17:29):
I just want to encourage you tokeep hope and and like my wife said,
you know, go go before thethrone of brace and give it to
God. He says, lay yourburdens before him, that he can he
can burn it up in the quitchablefire, I mean the unquitchable fire.
He can burn it up for you. And know that your hope can be
(17:52):
restored through God. He is justwaiting for you to come with open arms
to him, so he cannot uhdissipate that whatever it is that's that you're
falling into condemnation for, because itsays, you know, he will give
you peace to surpass us all understanding. You know, you wouldn't even understand
(18:15):
where the peace comes from. Butthat's what he does because that's how powerful,
and that's how loving that our Lordis towards us. That that's just
that's just really a powerful thing thatthe speak apart. Uh, you got
anything there. So my next pointwas gonna be how just that we have
(18:37):
to keep hope, you know, always be hopeful and stay in that place.
And it's really hard. And ifwe can go back to the story
of Abraham, you know, Romansfour eighteen says against our hope, Abraham
and hope believed and so became thefather of many nations, just as it
(18:57):
had been said to him, soshall be your offspring. You know,
there was nothing about Abraham's life thatmade sense that he would be a father,
that he would you know, beas prosperous as as God had told
him. All he had was hishope. And there are times when you
(19:19):
are going to be in situations, probably more than any of us care to
be, where you don't have anythingelse. You know, you're not gonna
have anything else but your hope.Your hope is your precursor to your faith's
precursor to the you know, thelove of God. There's there's hope.
And I just really want to encourageeverybody today that there is a hope.
(19:42):
There's a spiritual hope that nobody cantake away from you, nobody can change
because it's in you. And ifyou have it, all you have to
do is tap back into it andjust have the hope of Abraham. You
know, it didn't look like anythingGod said what happened? But he kept
(20:03):
hope, He kept hoping and ithappened, right man, man, Yeah,
yeah, and that's good. That'sgood. And with that being said,
that that hope that you keep goesa long way because the Lord knows
(20:26):
since you have that hope in him, he will not dismay against you are,
He will not leave you in thesituation because he knows you are an
expectation for him to do what hesaid he was gonna do. Right,
And that was my next point.Hope is always at work because when you're
(20:47):
operating an expectation, which also isanother way of saying operating and hope,
when you're moving in hope, thatexpectation is what caused your angels to respond.
You know a lot of people liketo say, you know, I
manifested it. No, you didn't, got allowed it to happen, excuse
(21:07):
me. Hope is what allows thingsto happen. Your faith is what allows
things to happen because you're being opento that, to that release of those
blessings. You're being open to thingsworking out. You know, some not
everything can be. Not all blessingsare going to be seen immediately. Some
things take time and that's where thathope comes in. As long as you
(21:30):
have hope, then those things workout. You know, the businesses that
you want to build, you know, the funds to come, and the
services that you need, and theconnections you need to make. Why you're
in that hope that while you're inthat place of hope, those things are
being connected. Those things are beingrevisited, revitalized, you know, as
(21:53):
things are coming to work out.You know, for your good, you
need that hope so things can keepmoving. You know, just just real
talk. You know, you needthat hope so stuff can come together and
work out for you. You mightnot see it right away, but you
have to be patient and let Godbe God because He's gonna do it.
(22:15):
But you need that hope and thatfaith to let it come to pass.
Yeah. Yeah, and you know, and it's good that you say that
because you know, uh, Godis always with you He's always with you
the audience. He's always with you, guys. You know, just like
when Moses have passed away, youknow, and God said, hey,
(22:37):
you know, my servant Moses isgone, you know, dills up up
to Joshua, you know. Andthe thing about that is, you know,
and his word in Isaiah forty oneand the tenth verse, this is
what God says. He says this, He says, do not fear,
for I am with you. Donot be dismayed, for I am your
(23:00):
God. I will strengthen you andhelp you. I will uphold you with
my righteous right hand. This iswhat God is saying to me and you,
guys, this is what He's gonnado, he said, He said,
I'm gonna help you with my righteousright hand. I'm gonna you know
what I'm saying. And you can'tnobody pluck you out of God's hand.
(23:26):
He is always with you. Andno matter what situation and no matter where
you are, God is with you. He's everywhere all of the say,
he's with He's with us right now, you know, he with us right
now, you know, with theheavenly host, you know, with the
(23:47):
holies of holies, you know whatwith the link angels I'm talking about.
We're talking about the twenty four elders. I'm talking about what don't don't don't
hate because the fire I I don't. I don't have a collection plate right
now? Whatever? So can wego back to yeah, go ahead,
Okay. The other verse you hadwas Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. I
(24:11):
did have that person. Do youremember that I do? It says it
reads for I know the plans Ihave for you, declares the Lord plans
to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a
future. All right, go aheadand speak on that then, So excuse
me. That versus is very common. You know, everybody knows that verse.
(24:34):
Everybody talks about that verse, butthey don't. What we don't do
is we don't focus on that lastsentence. Plans to give you hope and
a future. Yes, so Godgives you hope. He wants you to
continue in that hope because that iswhat begins your future. Right. God
(24:56):
knows what he has plans for you. You don't have to know. You
I gonna always know, trust me, You're not gonna know all you may
know in part where it says weknow in part, so you'll know bits
and pieces, and that hope isit's almost like it's like a it's confidence
and it's just trust. You know, I trust God to do what he
(25:17):
says he's gonna do. That's hope. Excuse me to give you hope and
a future. He has a purposefor you, everybody that can hear this
message. God has a purpose foryou. It's not about what title you
are in your church or was ornot even in a church. God has
(25:38):
a purpose and that purpose starts withhope. Okay, you know what his
fun that you mentioned about. Ifyou're in the church or if you're not
in the church. If we goback a couple of years when COVID hit,
nobody was in church, nobody, right, so you had to pretty
(26:03):
much fend for yourself to get theword and do what needed to be done
while we were in this season ofCOVID. So that was a time right
there, well we all had tostay hopeful. No one no one knew
what was gonna be the outcome ofthis. No one knew what happened,
(26:25):
what was gonna happen, you know, And I just want to speak to
the audience, right now, ifyou can just remember if it was a
time, if it was one timewhere you was hopeful that something that was
gonna come out of the situation wherewe was dealing with this COVID situation,
and it happened for you. Yourhopefulness claimed true that God saw what it
(26:52):
was and worked on your behalf forthat time, for that season, you
know, And I mean you know, you hear people say, well,
you know, I ain't got togo to church because the churches and me
and this that, and I understandthat. But it says, do not
disassemble yourself from the saints. Butthen still and another part of that,
though, is that you can behopeful and what God has for you because
(27:18):
he has he knows the plans thatHe has for you, you know.
And Sign one thirty nine and thethirteenth of the fourteenth verse it says,
for you created my most and mostbeing, You knit me together and my
mother's womb. I praise you becauseI am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your
(27:38):
works are wonderful. I know thatfull. You know, when we was,
when we was in our mother's womb, he knew COVID was gonna happen.
That's crazy, right, And heknew how everything was gonna work out.
(27:59):
Even back then we wasn't even thoughtof. We had no idea what
him COVID was gonna come. Weain't know about it. He knew and
he had everything in place. That'swhy I'm just trying to I want you
guys out there to stay hopeful thatwhatever you are going through, you can
take it to God and let andstrengthen your faith to Him and stay hopeful
(28:22):
that He is going to perform whathe said he is going to do for
you if you just bring it tohim a man man. And just a
reminder of what we were talking aboutearlier too. As long as you have
God, you have hope. Ifyou know God, you have hope.
(28:44):
It sounds really simple, but sometimesI think we forget just how simple being
a Christian can be. Sometimes wemake it so overly complicated. And you
know, if you're not a theologianor you haven't been through a rigorous training
program, no, all you allyou need is hope, hope, faith
(29:07):
and love. Those are the three. Those are the three things that God
tells us to have hope, faithin love. Right, Yes, so
that's all we need and hope isa precursor of all of that. And
I keep saying that because it reallyis. It's it's where it all begins.
You hope, and you believe, and you hope and and you believe
(29:27):
that God is going to do whathe says he's gonna do, and you
know that He's going to protect youand whatever you're going through. I just
want to encourage any anybody just listening, if you are in a place and
you feel hope, less or lesshopeful than you have been in the past,
I just want to encourage you totap into the word of God and
(29:48):
read the scriptures that we're sharing today, and you know, find some more
of your own that you know willlift you back up to that place.
And you know, and when youpray to God, just ask him another
thing. I think we you know, we make too complicated as prayer,
you know, prayers a conversation.Talk to God about why you're feeling hopeless
(30:10):
and ask him to get you tothat place or show you how to get
to that place where you're now hopeful. Talk to him about whatever's going going
on and ask him to help you. Ask him to send the people that
can help you. You don't haveto don't have to do it alone,
or you don't have to sit andsuffer in silence. So I just want
(30:32):
to encourage you ever is listening tothis, if you're in a place of
hopelessness, I just want to bethat voice that that lets you know there's
always hope because God has kept youhere, So anytime he's he's here with
you always. Yeah, ma'am,and see it. And on top of
that, you are a child ofGod. You are the era of Him.
(30:55):
You know, he is your eyeof Father. You know you are
you know you are inherited into intothe kingdom with your father. It says
in first John three, the firstversion, it says, see what great
love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of
God. And that is what weare. Period. You know, you
(31:18):
can go to your father and andand share with him what it is you
need, what it is you want, and and and bring this, bring
this to pass, for he lovedyou because you are his child. You
(31:40):
know. I know. It's alot of wicked and evil and diverse things
are happening in this world right now. And I'm even myself, even myself,
I'm like lords you know, can'tcan you you know, can you
hit one down from me? Imean, can you know? I mean,
what's going on? Can you strikeone down from me? What the
(32:00):
thing is? He says? Revenge? Revenge is minds, says the Lord.
So it ain't for me to evenreally ask help. Can he even
strike one die? Because he like, you know that ain't that ain't what
you that, ain't what you about. That ain't what you're supposed to be
coming to me with. You're supposedto be come to me with love and
(32:20):
joy, peace and happiness and goodwill for your fellow brothers and sisters.
And he will handle the mess thatis going on. And I and I
have to remind myself to stay hopefuland that I have to remind myself to
be like, Okay, Lord,I don't want to, you know,
just to get out of myself. And you know, sometimes I'll be tired.
(32:42):
I'm like, I don't want todo this. I don't want to
do that. But if I amin this state of hopefulness, knowing that
I can help my fellow brothers andsisters who are hopeful less, this is
what I must do, damn. And so I want to take the second
part of this episode and talk abouthow does hope work? All right?
(33:09):
Right, yeah, so we're gonnatake our break now, yeah, and
we'll be back shortly. This isRashiema Hagans and this is Bruce Hagen's the
second and this is the hour Glass. We'll be right back bye. Welcome
(33:30):
back, guys. This is BruceHagans and I'm rashie Ma Hagans and we
are the hour Glass. Thank youfor tuning in with us. And this
is the second segment of our show. What is this one? This is
how does hope work? How doesit work? Really? So? Oh
so we know that hope is alwaysat work. Romans eight twenty five says,
(33:54):
but if we hope for what wedo not yet have we wait for
a patient shop me. That's thenib. Do you want another translation?
I'm a King James guy. Okay, let me find it and King James
for you. If it's easier foryou, let it be new King James.
So I want to keep the vsand the dolls out, all right,
(34:15):
I ain't go back there? Canyou switching up on me? All
right? Don't? It's okay?Now where'd it go? Okay? Excuse
me? A twenty five says anda New King James. But if we
(34:35):
hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
So I say that that's good.Oops, okay, come on,
so that's good. I thought youwere going to expound on that fastball.
No, So that means the forceof hope is a godly expectation, right,
(35:02):
So we keep in mind that weare gonna stay optimistic and we're gonna
expect God to do what he says, because nothing God does will ever work
out for our bad. You know, it's always gonna work out fur good,
because that's God. So if we'retalking about you know, if we
if we hope for what we donot have, we wait for it patiently.
(35:23):
So to hope require some patience, yes, okay, yes, and
through trials and tribulations. I wantto say, that's how you know,
you kind of tap into that hopefrom this through the through that vein of
(35:47):
patience. Yeah, knowing that whatit says, let patience have its work
is perfect. Yes, Yes,that's what I'm talking about doing. So
a spiritual hope for godly hope knowsthat God is going to provide, Yes,
and and we we expect it,and we're taught some of us,
(36:08):
you know, sometimes we're taught towalk in expectation. Right, that's a
message of hope. I'm expecting it. I don't know when it's coming.
I don't know how it's gonna come, but it was coming. Yes,
that's hope, right, yes.And just to even go back to this
(36:28):
patience and hope, we have toalso know that God he understands your pain.
If you're going through something that's kindof hindering, you know, you
just stay hopeful because it says inIsaiah fifty three and the third verse it
says he which is Jesus, wasdespised and rejected by mankind, a man
(36:52):
of suffering and familiar with pain.We we go through pain, and sometimes
the pain could just be unbearable andand it and it hits you, hits
you like a ton of bricks anduse and you lose your hopeful this,
you lose that. But you know, nothing is new to God, nothing
(37:15):
is new to Jesus because he wentthrough it. So just to let you
know that, you know, justkeep and it may be tough and it
may be hurting right now, butstay hopeful because he knows your pain,
he knows what you're going through. He you know, it's not it's nothing
that you went through that he hasnot been through. Okay, So I
(37:40):
just want to encourage our audience, you know, suffering and pain. You
know know that you know he hasbeen there and he knows what it is
what we go through. So justthat's another thing I'm trying to just you
know, incorporate, and you gottastaying hopeful and and and whatever we're going
(38:00):
through today, where you know,we walk with you. You know,
it may not be the same situation, it may not be the same issue,
but we all go through issues,we all go through something, you
know. I mean, it's funnybecause it's like the more and I'm gonna
say, I'm gonna I'm gonna justkeep it one hundred. I'm gonna keep
it straight one hundred. The morethat we see the enemy, the adversary,
(38:27):
Satan, the devil, the morethat we see his and principalities rise
up even more and more in thetime that we are dealing with and for
we are in the end times. It's something always dog on happening every day
I'm talking about and I'd be likeman, can I just get one day
at piece? Can I just youknow, can I just chill out one
(38:47):
day? So I share this withyou guys to let you know that you
know, we are battling this alltogether. But if we you, I,
my wife, we all stay hopeful. God is gonna do what He's
gonna do. And we all werealready triumphal He already wondered about it.
We just need to just walk inthis and continue to keep moving forward with
(39:12):
the strength that He has given us, which is hope. The Hebrews eleven
and one says say it, faithis a substance of things, hope for
the evidence of things not seen.Yes, so yes, I'm gonna ask
everybody to read Hebrews eleventh the entirechapter, because it talks about the promises
(39:36):
of God that came by faith. But it tells us in the very first
verse that faith is the substance ofthings, hope for a meaning you have
to have hope to have faith. And and I just hate I didn't mean
to cut you off. And beforeyou read it, asks God to give
(39:59):
you unders standing before you even readit, so so it can resonate with
your spirit, so you can feelyou need to feel this, you know,
because like I said, we arewe are dealing in times right now.
I'll tell you what I bet youfeel. I bet you can feel
(40:20):
when the enemy is at you orwhat like maybe your your boss on you
for some reason, or you knowyou're dealing with a man or a woman
and you know the you know, the argument turns, you know, the
conversation turns left to an argument andyou trying to figure out what's going on
or what happened that is that enemyattacking you. I bet you can feel
(40:40):
that. So we're asking you toask God to to to touch your mind
and your heart that you may receiveand feel that scripture. And anytime you
read, anytime you read the wordGod, always ask God for the revelation
and understanding of whatever you're reading. So back to he Rows eleven and one.
(41:06):
Faith is a substance of things hopefor which means to me that hope
starts by faith. Like we've beentalking, right, So hope gives us
the picture and faith takes it andruns with it. Does that make sense?
(41:29):
No? Okay, let me goahead. So if I have hope,
that means I'm I literally have apicture. Just think about how it
starts. I have hope, Ihave a picture of what I oh,
what God has told me about me? Right, so I have to have
(41:49):
faith that that's going to happen. So by faith, by studying, by
prayer, that's how it's going tomove. My faith is gonna move whatever
God has told will be about mebecause my hope is an agreement, and
that's how it's gonna move. Okay, And I get that. Say,
(42:14):
we are new in the walk offaith and hope, and you're not really
even sure are You haven't heard fromGod what your purpose is for? What
does that look like? Well? How do we walk now? Until until
(42:37):
that happens. Then you're hopeful thatyou're doing what He wants you to do.
And you're hopeful because you're reading hisword. You know, you read
the Word, and the Word tellsyou whatever you're doing, if you do
it in his name, it'll besuccessful. You're real prosper because you're doing
things in His name. So whateveryou're doing, I say, you know,
(43:00):
read, read the Word, andand do it in the in the
name of Jesus, focused on what, how, and not even how what?
Focused on how he wants you tomove and praying for that understanding to
know how he wants you to move. Okay, I get that. That's
(43:20):
that's now. That's good. That'sgood because you know we're where it's it's
a lot a lot of people thatare that are new in the faith and
they want to they want to getcloser to God, they want to get
closer to Christ and the enemy. You know. That's just like what it
(43:40):
says is when when the word isset has been set out forth, the
enemy comes instills it immediately, youknow. And that's that's what's happening right
now. You know. We wewe find people now are are and anxiety
and depressed because you know, theenemy is moving. I mean like like
(44:01):
he said, like he said,I'm a roaring lion. I couldn't you
know, up and down to andfro like a roaring lion, you know,
seeing who I can destroy. Youknow, this is what he's doing,
you know, and he's claiming trueto what he's doing. And the
people need to know how to stayhopeful of this and what what this looks
(44:22):
like on the level of of ofwinning this battle, you know, and
we know that uh, God canredeem any situation for the word says in
Psalm one h three one and fourverse, it says, praise the Lord
(44:43):
my soul, who redeems your lifefrom the pit and crowns you with love
and compassion from the pit, fromthe from however low that we've been down,
however low we are, now raisesyou up from the pit and crowns
you my brother, my sister.Whatever you're going through, he can redeem
(45:10):
you. He can lift you upfrom the pit and bring hopefulness to you
in any situations. There's nothing itain't nothing too hard. God's right.
All things are possible through Christ tostrengthen me and you. Guys, all
(45:30):
things are possible. He is theredeemer, and you can have. You
know you have hope even when, especially even when you know when you're in
the midst of a crisis, whenyou're just in the middle and it looks
like nothing it's gonna work out, that hope will bring you out, that
(45:52):
hope will keep you saying that hopewill be your anchor Hebrew six nineteen,
that this hope is a strong andtrustworthy anchor for our souls. Yes,
that's what hope does for you.You know, when you're standing in your
faith and you're believing God for something, but what's happening around you doesn't match
(46:14):
what you're believing. It doesn't matchwith people you know spoken over you,
which you heard God say that hopeis your anchor, that just keeps you
grounded, keeps you, you know, firm, standing firm in your faith
until something changes. Yeah, becauseto be to be hopeless is a contradiction
(46:36):
to someone that's in victory. Ahopeful person is in victory. But if
you're hopeless, you can't see thatvictory because you don't have any hope to
drive the faith to bring forth theblessing and the victory. So you know,
like like you said, honey,it's it's it's a lot going on.
(47:00):
But even with everything that's going on, what's going on with God and
what's going on with the in theKingdom of God is greater and it's always
going to be victorious over whatever's goingon in the natural and what we see
a lot of things that we seeare just smoke screens to keep us distracted
from what we're supposed to be doing. And I you know, and I
(47:22):
I've caught myself doing it, youknow, I've been I've I've been on
social media once no too long, and I thought, you know, I
really could have been doing something elsebut by time. But that's just that
distraction that the enemy puts in ina way, and and we don't pay
attention to it sometimes. But standingin the place of hope, standing in
(47:44):
the place of faith is what iswhat gets us to those victorious places,
and it keeps us firm and andyou know, just able to withstand whatever's
going on. Not everything is inour control. So if we if something's
do happen, our hope and ourfaith, our prayers, that's what keeps
(48:05):
us anchored until something changes. Manand man and the forgiveness of it all,
you know, we were sometimes, you know, and I need to,
(48:25):
I need to kind of pull backbecause when we feel hopelessness, we
feel that we can't be forgiven, and God extends complete forgiveness, you know.
(48:45):
So I just wanna, you know, elaborate on on again. If
if you're feeling in a place ofhopelessness and that you cannot be forgiven,
that is not true. Don't letcondemnation fall on you. Don't let the
enemy speak into your ear that youcannot be forgiven for whatever the case may
(49:09):
be for Insom eighty six, andthe fifth version reads, Oh Lord,
you are so good, so readyto forgive, so full of unfailing love
for all who asks for your help. All you have to do is ask
him. All you have to dois ask him, and and he will.
(49:31):
He will provide. He will bethere for you to bring to lift
up your faith, to to toget you back on that road of hopefulness.
You know. That's the funny thing. And I just I want to
go to the next one too, because this this is important, because I
want to share this. It saysGod comforts you and comforts others through you,
(49:54):
and any trouble with the comfort weourselves receive God. And this is
Second Corinthians one three to the fourthverse. So I'm sure this. I
was at work the other day andI was in a place of I was
just bad. I was in areal bass uh place in my mind and
(50:16):
in my heart, you know, because I you know, I was just
going through some stuff. And Isaw this young lady walk by me,
and I said to her, Isaid, good morning, sister, you
all right, and she said, pray for me, and the Holy Spirit
right there said leave that card therego get her and pray for her.
Because I told her to come back, and she just kept going. You
(50:37):
know why, she started crying. So I left my car and I went
and I and I grabbed her andI didn't even ask her what was wrong.
I just went right into prayer rightthen and there for her. As
I went into prayer for her, another young brother stopped and he he you
know, he bowed his head.So now we got well, it says
(51:00):
with two or three, my manJesus there right, so we it's old
now. So I'm praying for herand I didn't ask what it was.
I prayed for her and I gaveher words of comfort. I share that
with my brothers, my sisters outthere, to let you know, if
(51:21):
there's any way that he wants touse you, let him use you,
and he will give you that comfortof hopefulness. Once you take off,
once you realize what's not wrong withyou and something's going on with somebody else,
your hopefulness will strengthen up, yourfaithful strength strengthen up because you have
(51:43):
that in you. Each and everyone of us has a measure of faith,
so that hopelessness, that hopefulness isin you. So when you see
somebody else that's maybe worse off thanyou are, maybe struggling, ask him
if you could pray for them andwatch and see how your spirit will will
(52:06):
will will rise and it will itwill, it will get out that dormant
state. And I'm telling you youyou will see and you'll be able to
tap in to the hopefulness that isin you. A man. I was
just about to say, that's it, that's the thing. Hope is already
(52:29):
in you. That's what I'm saying. Hey, you know this confirmation,
then come on, Oh no,but not nearly. Excuse me, not
nearly, as with that kind ofpower, I ain't making me choke you.
So you said, Second Corinthia isone, uh huh, three and
four. Yes, okay, I'mgonna read it. Blessed be the God
(52:50):
of our and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and God of all comfort, whocomforts us in all our tribulation, that
we may be able to comfort thosewho are in any trouble with the comfort
with which we ourselves are comforted byGod. A man, A man,
a man. That's what it says, that that comforted someone else that's also
(53:15):
in trials and tribulation. They arehopelessness that they trying to figure out what's
going on. We all listen, listen, my brothers and my sister,
listen, were all in this together. We all trying to work. We're
all trying to figure it out.You know, we're all trying to work
all our salvation with fear and trembling. Were all trying to get together to
(53:35):
understand what it is to stay hopefuland to know that he is going to
claim true or what he's gonna claimtrue to do so hope. Yes,
the other part of hope herews elevenand one. We've already read it.
But faith is a subset of things. Hope for the evidence of things.
I've seen those unseen things, andhere was eleven one. Are things seen
(54:00):
with the eyes of hope. Hopealways sees before the natural eye can.
And some of us have trouble focusingon those unseen things because we only receive
what we can see. So thatis our reality, what we can see.
(54:21):
Hope. When you look at thingsthrough the eyes of hope, you're
hoping for things you can't see.Is that easy to do? No,
it's not. It's not an easything to do. That's why when we're
(54:42):
in that state that we can't seeit, and we hope that's why we
go into prayer. Okay, Godlistens to our prayers and can help us
with that, it says, andHebrews four in the sixteenth words, it
says, let us then in approachGod's throne of grace with confidence, so
(55:05):
that we may receive mercy and findgrace to help us in our time of
need. No, it's not easy. That's why it says, come boldly
before the throne of grace, cometo his throne. And the thing is,
he waits for you. That's whathe honors. That he honors that
(55:29):
if you if you don't go,you can't get Let's seek and you shall
find. Knock and the door shallbe open. You have to you have
to move forward to activate the faithfor hopefulness. We can't see it.
We're hoping that we can get it. That's why he says, come to
(55:53):
the throne. Come to the throne. He got you. And and let's
right, and I ain't even talkingabout material things. I'm talking about issues
that all right, I'm talking aboutSay you're hurting, I mean I'm talking
about it just the I mean,it may not be big to some people,
(56:14):
but it's big to others. Saya toothache. You're hoping that this
pain go away. You hain't seeit, but you feel it, right
right, same difference if someone isis at you and and it's hounding you
(56:35):
are troubling you. This is apain. You can't see it, but
you you you, you know it'sthere. You're hoping that this will go
away. You want this to goaway. You have to take it to
God. You have to take itto God. When you're hoping for this,
(56:57):
you have to take it to God. And when we see things,
when we instead of accepting that asour reality, we have to train ourselves
to say, I don't accept this. I'm gonna talk to God about it.
And God is gonna and and becauseI'm talking to God, I'm gonna
renew my mind. I'm gonna read, study, and meditate on the word
(57:19):
of God, and I'm gonna waitfor him to answer me. Sometimes you
can't do that on your own strength, though, you have to ask him.
Okay, you know, hey,Lord, you know renew my mind
and my heart, renew me.You know, I need a real.
I need a new mind, Ineed a new heart that I may receive
(57:40):
what it is that you have forme, so I can stay hopeful.
You know, you know we weask for stuff that God ain't honoring it
because it ain't even of him.But what we stay, what we keep
ourselves in a situation of hurt, hoping for something that ain't even God's will,
that ain't even his plan for you. We need. I need to
(58:06):
when I'm in a situation and I'mstarting to get hopeful hopefulness if this word
hope, hopelessness, the hopelessness allright, that I need to go because
it's because this is the reason. And Isaiah forty and the thirty thirty first
(58:29):
verse it says, even youth growtired and weary, and young men stumble
and fall. But those who hopehear me, those who hope and the
Lord will renew their strength. Theywill soar on wings like eagles. They
(58:52):
will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Those who hope in the Lord.Amen, you feel that, Yes,
he says, all you who uhweary and and and and heavy laden,
(59:12):
come to me, and I willgive you, he said, I will
give you rest hope in the Lord. So hope, hope in the Lord.
Well, well, increase my faith, take me to a place of
victory. Yes, yes, andnot only victory, peace, victory and
(59:32):
peace. Yes, because His promisesfor you are for you. His will
for you is for you, nomatter what, matter what's going on,
his promises aren't for you. Yes, And that's one of the reasons that
we continue to have hope. Amen. Amen, I want to before we
(59:57):
before we go, I want toread something. I want I want the
I want my brothers and my sistersout there to take hold to this.
This is very powerful. It's verypowerful. And this is the ninety first
Psalm, and this psalm as thepsalm that lets you know trouble is gonna
(01:00:28):
come. Things are gonna happen. You know. You know it's not like
the world like, it's not likelife is not gonna show up. But
you stay hopeful and know that Hehas you. He had dwells. He
that dwells in the sacred place ofthe Most High shall abide under the shadow
(01:00:52):
of the Almighty. I will saythe Lord, he is my refuge and
my fortress, my God in Him, will I trust surely He shall deliver
thee from the snare of the flowerand from the newsomd pestilence. He shall
cover thee with his feathers, andunder his wings shalt thou trust. His
(01:01:15):
truth shall be thy shield and bunkler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the
terror by night, nor the arrowsthat flies by day, nor for the
pestilence that walk in the darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes that noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, in ten thousand at thy right
(01:01:37):
hand, but it should not comethigh thee. Only with thy eye shall
thou be and see the reward ofthe wicked. Because thou hast made the
Lord which is my refuge, eventhe most high thy habitation, there shall
no evil befall me. Neither shallany plague come thou my dwelling. For
(01:02:00):
He shall give his angels charge overthee to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in theirhands, lest they dash their foot
against a stone. They shall treadupon the lions and the addler, the
young lion and the dragon shall allowtrouble o their feet. Because He has
set his love upon me. Therefore, will I deliver him, I will
(01:02:24):
set him on high because he hasknown my name. He shall call upon
me and I will answer him,and I will be with him in trouble.
I will deliver him and honor him. And with long life, will
I satisfy him and show him mysalvation. That is one of the most
powerful psalms that has been written, especially if we read that psalm and apply
(01:02:52):
it to the things that we aredealing with in this world today. My
brothers and sisters, I just wantto let you guys know that He is
with you. Stay hopeful. Theword of the Lord says no weapon formed
(01:03:12):
against THEE shall prosper, and anythingthat comes against THEE shall be condemned by
the Lord. He will take careof it. Stay hopeful, my brothers
and sisters, Stay hopeful. Disney, Yes, and so I'm ninety one
fourteen to sixteen. And the messagetranslation reads this way, if you hold
(01:03:37):
on to me for dear life, says God, I'll get you out of
any trouble. I give you thebest of care. If you'll only get
to know and trust me, callme in our answer, be at your
side, and bad times I'll rescueyou can throw you a party. I'll
give you a long drink of salvation. So I'm just just adding on to
(01:04:02):
what you've already said. You know, if, like we've already said in
this in this show, you know, hope is the beginning of all things
and whatever's going on. If youknow God and you hold on to God,
and if you believe him, andlike he said, hold on to
him for dear life, he willrescue you and usher you into a place
(01:04:23):
of victory. He said, throwyour party, and throw your party.
Yeah, that's all right, that'sall right, Lord, that's all right.
So yeah, So before I beforeI pray, and we we conclude
our segment Year My thirty three, and the third verse says this was God
says. He says, called tome, and I will show you great
(01:04:46):
and mighty things which you do notknow. My fellow brothers and sisters,
we come to you and love today. I just wanted to share with you
to please stay hopeful, especially inthese times. We know that the end
times are here. I mean,it's the evidence is all around us.
You know. The enemy is rearinghis ugly head to and fro up and
(01:05:10):
down to see who he can devour. But stay hopeful, stay prayerful,
to know that God is with you. Whatever your situation is, take it
to the Lord and he will Hewill make it all right. And the
Mighty name of Jesus. We comebefore you, Lord, and we thank
(01:05:30):
you. We give you praise, honor and glory, Father, because you
are Alpha and Omega. You areat the beginning end, the end,
the first end, the last, sovereign with all power. Lord, for
you are power and the Mighty nameof Jesus. I launch out and I
lift up every brother and sister thatis under the sound of my voice,
(01:05:53):
that is going through anything that isholding on with both hands to hold onto
you for hopefulness, to they canmove forward and be triumphal in the victory
because it's already won. Asking you, Lord, that you touch their minds
and their hearts that they can moveforward and power, give them knowledge,
(01:06:15):
wisdom, strength, courage and powerto get closer to you, Father,
that they may know that all thingswork for the good for those who love
you, according to your will andpurpose. Father. We give you praise,
honor and glory, for we knowyou, Father are the one.
We thank you, Father, andthe name of Jesus. Let the words
(01:06:38):
of my mouth and the meditations ofmy heart be acceptable in thy sight,
our Lord, our Strength, ourRedeemer. We love you, Father,
and praise you, and we praiseno one above you. In Jesus name,
we pray Amen.
