(01:06):
And uh, thank you for thankyou for listening to us. You know,
we give you, we give youall that we have through through through
the Heavenly Father, and we justgive your praise. We give him praise
in the name of Jesus. Andthen you want to say, there send
You're back. That's it. Huhyeah, that's all you got to say.
That's it. Yeah. Well,I mean you shouldn't even be on

(01:27):
the market. We're ready to gohunh all right. So look, hey,
guys, the topic I wish Ihad some uh what's that game show
music? You know what I'm saying, because you know, you know,
I want to put on that voice. You know, hey, welcome guys.
You know how you know, youknow, so you know we're gonna

(01:49):
play Sling the Giant, you knowwhat you know, but you know,
you know, no music, Sowe got to work with what we got.
Okay, that's cool there, Solisten, guys, the topic today
is sling the Giants. Now.My wife asked me this morning, she
said, well, what we're gonnatalk about? You know, I wasn't
prepared. And my thing is this, let the Holy Spirit use you in
the way you need to be used. You know, you know, there's

(02:13):
nothing that's script, you know, nothing that we write down. You know,
everything that we do is through theHoly Spirit. Although the Holy Spirit
did give me something this morning andwe have a few topics that we're going
to talk about as far as slangthe giant. So I have some cards
that my wife. My wife didn'tknow all brought these, but I have

(02:35):
some cards with some topics on itthat we're gonna take each topic and we're
going to talk about it. So, you know, so she could put
a little book up because the winon that today. So I'm gonna pull
out these cards and we're gonna talkabout slam the Giant. So here you
go. You said you're gonna takea card and we're gonna talk about it.

(02:58):
You're gonna talk about it. I'mgonna talk about all right. All
right, you want to pick acar? First, ladies? First,
ladies, first, ladies. First. I know you're gonna shuffle. No,
No, I can see that.I don't know what. No,
because there's something on the back.So you just pick a car, all
right. My card says slaying theGiant of Worry. All right, all

(03:21):
right, okay, you know wegot scripture to back this. Yeah,
all right, back yeah, Solet me ask you, slaying the Giant
of worry? How does that applyto you? How does that apply to
me? Or do you not worry. You know, I know you got
it all together. Well, Idon't worry much, you see, I'm

(03:43):
saying, um, but I don'tworry much because of how much I've been
through, because I've learned how toturn things over to God. It's not
that I wor I don't worry becauseyou know, I'm just cool like that.
I mean, um, I domake it look that way, but
you do, thank you, Butyou know, no, I just I've

(04:03):
been through some things, and I'velearned that when I try to do it
on my own, I usually makea bigger mess than what I was worried
about in the first place. AndI've learned when I let Guy take control,
things just calm down, like heliterally calms the storm and works it
out, and I don't have toworry as much as I do. Yeah,

(04:27):
doesn't mean I don't ever worry.It just means that if I do,
I know to go to scripture andcatch myself and get myself back on
track. Does that make sense?Yeah, Yeah, that's cool. Tell
them that's cool. And on thiscard. My favorite scripture is Psalms fifty
five twenty two. Okay, cashyour bird another lord, and he shall

(04:47):
sustain you. He shall never permitthe right just to be moving. Okay,
So can I Can I speak onworry? Can I speak on work?
Now? I'm gonna give it toyou transparent you know, you know
I like to talk to the peopleout there, and we're gonna talk transparently
on this. Okay. You knowit's not that I don't trust God,

(05:10):
right right right? I trust him, But I worry sometimes, you know,
I worry sometimes. You know what, and I'm gonna tell you was
very what was very profound to me, John the Baptist, John the Baptist,
he I think for me, youknow, one of the coldest,

(05:31):
one of the coldest in the Bible. You know, he was the one
that opened up the doors for Jesus, that the entering man, one of
the coldest. But when John theBaptist got caught and it got sent to
jail, he even said, isthis the one? Or should we look

(05:55):
for another? You see? Yousee that worrying kind of thing. You
know, even though you know hewas cold, but he even worried a
little bit. You know. I'mkind of like that, you know.
You know it's okay, let's let'slet's let's make it real. You know,
like right now, we're going throughsome things and I'm like, you
know, okay, Lord, I'mpraying. I'm praying. You know,

(06:16):
I'm I'm I'm on my face,I'm speaking in my heavenly language. I'm
you know, I've got the prayershow, I got the scriptures, and
I'm worrying. You know what? What what do you you know? What
do you think is the remedy ofthat? When you are in a place

(06:39):
where you know the word of God, you know, I mean you you
feel his presence, You feel hispresence, He's there, and you still
like, man, I don't knowhow this is gonna work out, you
know, like you know, Idon't understand. You know what? What
is it that that you think ifI may see your card? Let me

(07:01):
let me see your card here. When we're talking about worrying, you know,
the word of the Lord says inMatthew six and the thirtieth verse.
Now if God so clothed the grassof the field, which today is and
tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you?
Owe you little faith? So whenwe're talking about work again, is that

(07:27):
faith thing that that has to dealwith it? As well. Right,
yeah, because when you're when you'repraying and anything, everything is done in
prayer. Things are birthed in prayer, Things are canceled in prayer, things
are you know, everything to me, everything starts in prayer. You overcome
your victorious. Things are slain inprayer. But the Word of God tells

(07:50):
us when we pray, we haveto believe. You have to believe in
what you're praying. Even you know, when you're praying the word, you
have to believe the word you're reading. Is it healthy to worry though,
I don't think so. No?No, So you know, just you
know, I mean, no oneyou're perfect. No, so I'll mean

(08:11):
you know what I'm not. I'mnot perfect. That any means I mean
nobody is, okay, I meanno, absolutely not. So you do
worry? I said that, Okay, I said I'd worry a little.
So it's not healthy to worry though. It's not healthy. No, But
I don't know if it's completely avoidable, and if it is, I haven't
gotten there yet. Okay, that'sgood. I like that. I would
like to be that type of person, don't worry about nothing ever, but

(08:33):
I do from time to time.I don't worry that much because I believe
what I pray. I believe andwho I'm praying too, and I know
I know God, he man,so I don't have to worry, you
know about some I mean, Iknow He's gonna take care of me,
you know, I don't. I'mnot too I'm not worried about I mean,
what we're the little things we're goingthrough now, to me now,

(08:54):
they're they're minor if if you lookat all that God is and all that
God can do, they're they're reallymine. You know, He can take
care of this in a day.But whatever's going on, apparently we just
need to go through this process. So I don't know if I get logical
about some things, and that keepsme from Marianne sometimes because I know who

(09:15):
I know and I know who Iam in him, so I know He's
going to take care of me,whether I you know, whether I know
what's going on or not. AndI've gotten to the point excuse me,
And I think that comes from justgrowing up, you know, being spiritually
mature, where you get to thepoint where you're not worrying about things because

(09:35):
you know who you know. Yeah, I know who I know, and
I know who I am, SoI know he's not going to let me
go. He's not gonna let mefall off. But so far, I
know he's gonna keep me together. So even when things are kind of crazy
around me, if I take aminute to look at what's really going on,
I'm still okay. Or you wantme to pass the places around now

(09:56):
or you know what I'm saying,You know, is the time for you
to get a card? I gotmy card. That's the perfect one.
I actually did you want me topass the plate around? You know?
But put the offer contract? Allright? All right? I got the
next one, guys, And thisone is uh, this one here is

(10:16):
one that I believe, as usbeing humans you know, sometimes really hard
to get around. And that isSling the giant of anger. You know
that card was there for well youknow what, well, okay, whatever,
but um yeah, you know Ikind of stay angry about foolishness.

(10:41):
Well you know what, I thinkit's more so than I think it's foolishness,
And I get angry about it becauseI think it's foolishness, but you
know what it is, right, okay? So but you know, sometimes
you know, you know, beingangry. Being angry is not that's not

(11:03):
healthy, you know, it's notthat's not healthy. And you know,
the the the Word of the Lordsays and the Epheesians four and the twenty
six to twenty seven verse, itsays, be angry and do not sin,
do not let the sun go downon your raft, nor give place
to the devil. That's very hardwhen we are dealing with one another.

(11:31):
You know, being angry is somethingthat I try very try. I try
very hard. But anger to meis healthy. And it might be and
it might be wrong, but angerto me is is a healthy thing because

(11:54):
if I hold it inside it itwill hurt me. But wouldn't it be
healthy or not to get angry? That might be true. But anger for
me as a way of releasing, you know, because you can be angry
and emotional and things like that.Right, So I don't want to be

(12:18):
too emotional. And I try,and I pray that I'm able to stay
even killed because you know, youknow, I have no filter. It's
either I'm happy or I'm sad,either I'm angry, right, I have
no middle. And I pray,I pray to the Lord that he delivers

(12:39):
me from that. But what youknow anger? You know, people get
angry, things happen. Well,I don't think anger is the problem.
I think a lot of times it'swhat you do with the anger and how
you respond to the anger that getspeople in trouble and to you know,
how long you hold on to theanger. Because now I'm very even killed,

(13:01):
I don't get angry hardly ever.Um, but I think when people
do get angry, it's about howlong are you gonna hold on to that?
What are you gonna do to getpast the anger? Because it's a
natural emotion, but sometimes the waywe respond to it isn't natural and it's

(13:22):
not healthy. Okay, so let'sbe transparent. You know, I just
went through a situation that I heldon to almost a year. You know,
that was the transition to my dadand what happened with that, and
we know the story, right,So is it forgiveness or is it anger?

(13:46):
Because I held onto that even thoughI forgave? Did I did I
really forgive? You didn't? ButI think I did know you didn't.
So it was anger and it wasanger. And because if you if you
truly for gabe, you wouldn't stillbe angry, you still wouldn't still be
mad about it. But I don'tbelieve that. I don't I don't believe

(14:07):
that. I believe the anger wasthere because it just replayed over it.
But I think the anger was therebecause I didn't release it like I like
I had supposed. Yeah, definitelyheld on to it too long. But
again, if you were if youreally went through the process of forgiveness,

(14:28):
because we talked about that, um, I think it was episode two we
talked about forgiveness, you know,as a whole show, And if you're
really going through the process of forgiveness, part of the process is releasing and
part of the process is letting gooff the anger. And you didn't do
either one of those things. Butyou know, it was personal to me.

(14:54):
Most anger is this personal And justlike the people that were speaking too,
as our audience, it's personal tothem, right, So you know
how you can't because you know forme it's it's really not that complicated.
For me, anger does more harmto you than it'll ever do to the

(15:16):
person that you're angry at. Sofor me, I guess I'm just selfish
in that way where I'm gonna dowhat's best for me, and I'm gonna
let the anger go so I canmove on with my life and do what
I'm supposed to be doing instead ofreplaying this incident or replaying this conversation.
That doesn't serve a purpose for me. Because if I I mean, and

(15:39):
I'm I'm pretty good with expressing myself. If I got an issue with somebody,
I'm just gonna say it, partlybecause I don't like holding on this
stuff, and too because I'm impatient. I don't have time to sit around
and and you know, be youknow, walking on egg shells. If
I see the person or you know, we got an issue, we grown
we need to just sit down liketwo A and hash this out. And

(16:02):
if it brings us closer, great, If not, we just agree to
disagree and love each other from adistance. I'm okay either way. And
you know this about me, I'mgood either way. You know you saw
it like a ball. But anyway, all right, let's go to the
ex car. What's your next one? Slay the giant of discouragement. Oh,

(16:23):
this is a good one, Umdiscouragement. That's a good one.
So let me see whisker shirt.Okay, so yeah, this is my
second Corinthians four sixteen. Therefore wedo not lose heart, even though our

(16:45):
outward man is perishing. At then word, man is being renewed day
by day. Um. Discouragement isa excuse me is a big one.
Um. And that's so crazy becauseI did raise some stuff about that.
Okay, yeah, I mean youknow the spirit what I say, let
the Holy Spirit use you this water? Well, you know discouragement? Yes,

(17:08):
yes, it is sinny is whatyou said this morning? Yes?
I said that this word? CanI keep talking? Do you need word?
Remember you need a hand claps hell? But but it did I said.
Remember, I said, the HolySpirit use you like a prophet.
And you don't understand. You don'tbe paying attention to the word. I'd

(17:29):
be saying, I do I listen? Okay, just because I'm not jumping
up and down on the couch, don't mean I'm not listening to what you
doing. What you you know,I'm mellow like that. I just you
know, you know you should be. I like you to be on fire
with me like I'm on fire. But I'm not trying to match you in
the match. I said, togethertogether together, you see together? You
know as one? Yeah, becauseand if I was a lot like you,

(17:52):
we would have a lot of problemstoo. Hyper alright, alright,
go ahead, too hyper people tryingto get stuff accomplished. So I'm glad
I'm mellow because I have to ballotyou out. So discouragement is a big
one. And discouragement, honestly isa big one in a body of Christ
because we don't put enough emphasis onlifting each other up, encouraging each other

(18:21):
and promoting each other. You know, we are so stuck in this environment
and the society of you know,I got mine, now, you gotta
get yours. You know, Iknow what I'm doing. Now you got
to figure out how to do ityourself instead of I figured it out.
I'm gonna help you so you don'tmake the mistakes I made. You know,
we we talked about that before. And I'm not church bashing at all,

(18:48):
but I will say this, weunfortunately, in a lot of churches,
we have adopted a lot of theworld's practices and that we you know,
we do what they do in theworld. We're competitive, and we
don't you know, we don't lifteach other up. In church is supposed
to be the place where you getreplenished and encouraged and lifted and taught,

(19:11):
And we don't do that anymore. You know, everybody want to make sure
they got the right practice space soeverybody can see their new car, and
everybody want to make sure they goton the right shoes, and everybody want
to make sure they got the righthand bag and all that kind of stuff,
and all that stuff is show. But when it comes to you know,
when I if I went to churchtoday, am I coming out lifted?

(19:33):
And you know, we used tosay in the old old back in
the day, used to say you'resupposed to come to church and not leave
the same. Yes, so you'resupposed to go to church and come out
with something that carries you to thenext Sunday. Right, and encouragement goes
a long way in lifting men andwomen just to get them through the next

(19:56):
seven days. You know, ifyou just lift somebody up and say this
is this is how God is goingto use you, or God is going
to use you just just just bytelling somebody God has a plan for you,
you'd be amazed at how many peopledon't even understand that they have a
God given purpose. Everybody ain't meantto be a prophet and a minister.

(20:19):
There's a purpose in your life,whether it's you know, a big title
or something that you know people aregoing to see outright, or something people
won't notice because you're behind the scenes. The God, I know, and
the Kingdom of God has a purposefor everybody. Let me, let me,
let me, let me get inright there, Matthew six and the

(20:41):
thirty third birth. Seeky first theKingdom of God and all his righteousness,
and all these things will be addedunto thee now if we us me,
if we hold on to that scripture, everything else I believe will be second
to none. You know, wewill be able to give exhortation to the

(21:06):
people that are sick and stuffing. You know, it's it's selfishness that arises,
and especially when somebody gets something andyou're looking at them and wondering why
you ain't got yours. You knowwhat I believe, and I believe that
is the biggest test. When theLord is working around you and blessing to

(21:27):
everybody, that is the biggest test. If you can encourage each everyone that
is getting what they what they withthe blessings are coming upon them, and
not be so hateful you know, this is what I like to do.
This is what I love to do, especially in times when I am discouraged.

(21:52):
And you know, it's just likeyou know, when I fill out
the applications and you know, theyshoot they shoot me down. I don't
get the position, you know,or they shoot me down and I know
I'm so close and I don't getthe position, or they shoot me down.
You know, they say, well, you know you qualify, but
you still don't get the position. My thing is to encourage the next person.

(22:18):
You know, I asked right thenand there, Lord, I'll tell
you what I'll offer myself to THEEto build me and to do with me
as Thy will relieve me of thebondage yourself that I may better do.
Thy will take away the difficulties thatvictory over me may bear witness to those
that I would help. Thy power, thy love, and thy way of

(22:40):
life may I do. Thy willalways move myself out of the way so
I may be used to help thatperson. You know, it's a lot
of people there's way more worse offthan me. And when I feel that
I'm about to get discouraged on somethingthat's so minute, that's that's me in
the way. That's that fleshing theway then. But it's a beautiful thing

(23:03):
when you see the Lord when it'syou know, it's a beautiful thing when
you see the Lord working and everybodyelse's lives and you can encourage them,
you know, keep moving, keepyou know, just like my buddy that's
got this restaurant. Man. Youknow, I encourage you. Brother,
I'm gonna even help you. Soyou know, that's I believe will abolish

(23:25):
discouragement. You know you can thatwill get rid of it. Yeah,
because once you get yourself out ofthe way about what you want, you
know, you will see that thelittle things is nothing compared to what God
is. You know, it's abeautiful thing when it's the scripturehere it says,
I know the plans I have foryou if we if we hold old

(23:47):
one, if we people, I'mtelling you, if we could just hold
on to the scriptures, the scripturesare alive for us, if we could
just hold on to the scriptures. And that goes back to worry. Yes,
because he knows, Yes, heknows what he's doing. So if
you trust him, trust that heknows your situation and he knows how to

(24:11):
bring you out. You know,we definitely get in our own way and
we worry about things because we can'tfigure it out. But God's way is
not our way, and his minddoes not work anything like ours. Thank
God. You know, he doesn'tdo anything like we do, and we
can't comprehend anything that he's doing. You have to have faith and trust that

(24:33):
He's going to do it for youand it'll all work out and his favor.
His word tells us that just maybehis word tells us that his word
will be established and his will willbe done. So if you're seeking his
will, you're seeking the things ofGod, be victorious and the things of

(24:57):
God. If you're truly focused onhim, Jesus, that's not fire.
You know what God is. Godis for me. I can't lose.
You can't no weapon for him togets you shall prosper and everything that come
up against what you know what that'syou know, that's good. It doesn't
happen. It doesn't even when itdoesn't work out like you expect it to.

(25:21):
It's not supposed to. Yes,it's not supposed to work out the
way. And real quick, Iknow we gotta take a break, But
real quick, if you look atGod and the nature of God, and
you're trying to seek the things ofGod, then you have to look at
it from a supernatural mindset. Whatwe do as human beings as we put

(25:41):
everything in our natural mindset and wetry to make God fit into our natural
box. Yes, that doesn't workif you take a moment to just and
it's you know, if you can't, you can never wrap your head around
it. But it's almost like you'reyou're asking a supernatural to do things in
your natural way. Yes, itwon't work that way. Yeah, you

(26:03):
gotta flip it. Yes, nowyou're a natural person, but you have
to adapt in supernatural mindset to seethe things of God. And that's what
we need to dive into. Amen. Amen, And right before we take
this break, the word of theLord says, and Joshua one and the
ninth verse, have I not commandedyou be strong and of good courage,

(26:26):
Do not be afraid, do notbe dismayed, for the Lord, your
God is with you wherever you go. That's what the Lord says. So
listen, We're gonna go ahead andtake a little break because I'm on fire.
I think I'm sweating a little bit. You know I'm ready to go
in, but we're gonna take abreak and we're gonna be back with you

(26:47):
guys in a few minutes. Thankyou. This is the hour Glass.
It's the hour Glass being Radio Net. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome back,
guys. We are back with thehour Glass. I am Bruce Hagens.

(27:07):
Hey, guys, we slammed thegiant today. We slammed the giant.
And I gotta admit Rashima is thegiant slayer today because she has been just
giving it up. The Holy Spirithas been using her in such a way
that it's just fire in this place. To God be the glory. I
mean, I mean so without furtheror dude, let me let me go

(27:32):
on in to continuing the slaying ofthe giant. So I have doubt,
doubt, the slang of the giantof doubt, you know it, I
believe, I truly believe it grievesthe spirit and it quenches the spirit when
you doubt what God can do foryou. You know, I do believe

(27:56):
that. You know I personally,I personally, you know I I thought
that it was sometimes where you know, maybe the maybe guy wanted me to
be up under somebody or you know, I needed maybe a person to connect

(28:18):
with, or I needed organization toconnect with, or I needed, you
know, something like you know,I needed to be a part of something
somebody's group to connect, you know, because I felt that if I didn't
have other people that I was connectedto, I would doubt that anything would
happen. And that's so far fromthe truth, because I always read Psalm

(28:45):
one nineteen eighty nine to the onetwelve verse, and that's some right there.
I mean, if you come,I I completely emerge myself into the
Father to lean on him for everything, every instruction, for all his commandments,
for all his precepts, for everythingthat he wants me to do.
It's him and him alone. Andso you know, I try, you

(29:10):
know, to lean onto his wordand not doubt anything that the word of
the Lord says, you know. And Isaiah fifty five eighth to the ninth
verse, the Lord clearly states,he says, for my thoughts or not
your thoughts. Nor are your waysmy ways, says the Lord. For
as the heavens are higher than theearth, so are my ways higher than

(29:33):
your ways, and my thoughts thanyour thoughts. My little finite mind cannot
even you know, fathom to beclose to what God is thinking. And
when I can be able to holdon to that word and it pulls me

(29:53):
closer to not doubt what's going on, you know, faith, it is
the things unseen right, Yes,yes, So you know, if if
I had, if I can justhold on to the faith and not doubt,
that that would just be a realgiant slear to me, what do

(30:14):
you think about doubt? Um?You know, doubt to me is like
worry. You know, it's it'sin the same category. You know,
it's anything that kind of takes youout of your out of your comfortable place,
of your almost out of your familiarplace to just resting in God.
You know, when when things happen, you start doubt and you start worried.

(30:37):
Excuse me? Um, to me, it's all the same. Um.
So yeah, the same thing Iwould say about worry is what I
have for doubt is it's just ittakes you out of your your your place
or where you're supposed to be walkingwith God and trust in God. Like
Isaiah's twenty six three sets here youLord, if true peace to those who

(31:00):
depend on you because they trust you. Yes, Yes, that's good.
Yes, So next time, right, So he's still going all right,
slain the giant of failure. Youknow, I have failed so many times.

(31:23):
I have failed so many times, and I laugh about it because in
each failure, I learned how todo better the next time. Yes.
And the one thing I would Iwould tell anybody is one never be afraid
of failure because sometimes a lot oftimes failure is how you learn, also
how you grow, and never stoppedbecause of failure. If you really believe

(31:47):
in something like your business model,or you know, just believe in God
for the promises for your life, those failures sometimes are testing. Those failures
are really would show you how tomove one. So, don't you know.
I remember a time when, um, I was really going going through
some things and my dad came tosee me, and I was just in

(32:12):
like this, woe was me kindof? I think it was just all
over me, you know, andI'm just sitting there with my head hanging
telling him all my problems, what'sgoing on? And he said, you
know, uh, he said,Rashima, I know you're in a bad
place now, and I understand howyou're feeling, but how long are you
gonna sit there, and that's howI look at failure. How long are

(32:37):
you gonna sit in that failure beforeyou move forward? Because when you get
when you when you succumbed to thegiant of failure, that's when you stop.
You know, you stop moving, you stop, you stop moving,
you stop growing. You stopped talkingto God about you know you're not talking

(32:58):
to God no more. Now youcrying to him Lord, this is my
problem. And how am I gonnaWhen you're gonna fix it and when you're
gonna deliver me? And you know, as long as you're crying about the
problem, the problem will keep circulatingback around you. But when you start
praising and saying, okay, Inow I see where I failed, and

(33:20):
you take stock in your failure. You know what I do is whenever I'm
in a situation where I feel likeI'm failing or something mate working, I
literally pray to God and ask himtwo things. One show me me,
which means show me where I messedup in this, and teach me what
I missed so I don't repeat thisfailure again. I think the biggest failure

(33:44):
is repeating the same failure, right, So if I fail, okay,
teach me what I need to knowso I don't repeat the same mistake and
experience the same failure again and againand again. So failure does not bother
me at all, not saying Ilook forward to it or I'm doing this
holy ghost dance when it happened,But I've gotten to a place where failures

(34:10):
part of the process. Sometimes ifI'm making sense, No, sometimes it's
part of the It's part of theprocess because that's how I'm gonna learn,
That's how I'm gonna grow. Everythingain't gonna be found in a book or
on you know, on YouTube. Some things you just you just got to
go through, you know. SoI just want to encourage folks, you

(34:36):
know, as far as this giant, yeah, I got this one.
I can confidently say I can slaythis one. Psalm's thirty seven twenty four
says though he fall, he shallnot be utterly cast down, for the
Lord upholds him with his hand.So even when I'm failing, God still
got me. And if God gotme, that means I'm not downing out.

(34:58):
I'm not out for the count.I can still get back up and
do something else, you know. And like my dad said, how long
are you gonna wallow in it?How long are you gonna sit in this?
Sometimes we sit in the failure towhere we just become the failure.
You know, how long are yougonna sit in that mess before you just
become the mess. I don't wantto become the failure, So I have

(35:21):
to move on. That's good. That's good. And you know that the
enemy, the enemy loves to usefailure against you, becaus soon as you
fail to do something that you knowthat's out of the will of God,
the enemy don't have a problem withcoming to you to make you fall into

(35:43):
condemnation, whether it being temptation, whether you and stole something, whatever it
may be. You know, whetheryou did something wrong that's really not in
the in the sight of God.He loves to use that as a failure.
See, I told you. Youknow, we always think, well,
I mean, let me speak aboutme. You know, when I
do something out of line, theenemy always I mean, he comes immediately

(36:08):
and always likes to say, Isee, and this is this is what
I'm this is what I'm playing inmy head that he goes to the heavenly
Father say see, I told youBruce wasn't gonna be it I told you,
But you know Jesus intercedes for us, you know. And the beautiful
thing about it is what the wordof the Lord says is all things work

(36:32):
together for the good for those wholove the Lord, according to his will
and purpose. So he fixes itanyway, you know, he goes through
and takes that mess, that failure, and fixes it in such a way
that he still gets the glory andgets edified forward. That's how perfect he
is. So failure is really evennot an option when it comes to when

(36:57):
it comes to this walk with theLord, it is not an option.
You know. That's like in Habakathree in the nineteenth verse where it says
the Lord God is my strength. He will make my feet like dear speak,
and he will make me walk onmy high heels. That's what he
does. When it comes to failure. You can't even see, you know,

(37:19):
there is no option with God.When it comes to failure. He
don't even see that. He don'tsee it, you know, because everything
he does is perfect. And weare child children of God. You know,
that's our ourbur father. You know, we don't lose. There is
no failure, but you know, the enemy will make it seem like in
such a way that you know, since you did this, the Lord will

(37:43):
turn his face away from you.And the Lord will never turn his face
away from you. And I'm speakingto my people's out there. The Lord
will never turn you know. TheLord doesn't turn away from us. We
turn away from him. And nomatter where we go, if we move,
and this the coldest thing God,you can walk ahead the guy and

(38:04):
he'll stay right where he is.Now y'all walking together, but you want
to move a little heads, Here'lllet you. He'll let you move right
ahead, and he'll wait till youcome right on the back. And then
y'all continue to take them steps together. That's the sweetness of the Lord,
you know what I mean. That'sthe sweetness of them. So let's move

(38:25):
forward. The next one I gotis slain the giant of fear. You
know, it's a it's a it'sa sad thing for me when I know
the word and I still fear. You know. I think it was I

(38:47):
believe I believe it was Isaiah, who you know, but I'm just saying
it was. I think it wasIsaiah who had just did a great Mary
miracle and then end up finding outthat Jezebel wanted to kill him, and
he went and hid in the cave, and the Lord had to go get

(39:09):
him out of the caves. Mightyman of valor, Why are you doing
in there? That's the You knowwhat fear is of the enemy? Are
you Are you pulling that up?Yeah? Yeah, what if you got
it? Okay? So fear isof the enemy. That is, the

(39:37):
Lord doesn't give you the spirit offear. He doesn't give you the spirit
of fear at all. One ofthe words of the Lord says, and
do to mind me thirty one,and the sixth verses says, be strong
and good courage. Do not fearnor be afraid of them. For the
Lord your God, he is theone who goes with you. He will

(39:58):
not leave you, no forsake you. God is always with us. You
know, it's it's you know,it's funny because I always like to say,
you know, the Lord gives usthe full armor of God, that
we may stand for the wiles ofthe devil, for the arrows that be
shot at us. But you know, it never speaks on did you have

(40:20):
to have an armor on your backside? And I always felt that, you
know, they never spoke. Henever speaks on the backside because God got
your back period. You don't needyou don't need no armor for the backside.
Guy got to back all the waythrough and through. So you know,
when it comes to fear, youknow, And I've always you know,
and it's funny because I've always beenlike that too. Like I would

(40:43):
personally see a victory. I wouldsee a victory and be like, yeah,
we want you know, it's youknow, God is good. And
then no, sooner something come up, I'd be like, oh my God,
we got oh Jesus, what we'regonna do, what we gonna do.
So you know, I'm you know, I'm prone to that. I'm

(41:07):
prone to that. Yeah, Sofear m, I say about here.
You know, fear to me iswhat the enemy uses to keep us from
moving and our god giving purpose. So if he can keep you fearful of

(41:29):
the things of God, um,then it makes you. You know,
it freezes you. You know,it stops you from doing anything, it
stops you from seeking God. Um. You know we were talking about this
earlier when you when like when youget a word from a prophet, uh,
and we're were we were taught theword tells us to take that word
to God. You know, youtake that word to God for clarity,

(41:51):
for understanding. You know, Ineed to go a little deeper. I'm
bringing the word or this prophet toyou because I need to understand what you
want me to do with it.You know, you know, because a
lot of times you get a wordfrom a prophet and it's it's scary,
you know, when they're telling youyou are you're destined to do this,
You're destined to preach, or you'redestined to get this building, or you're
destiny to take this territory. You'redestiny, you know, to to deliver

(42:15):
people from demons and things like that. That can be very intimidating. Um,
So you so the enemy to me, he comes in and he wrestles
and brings you this this fearful spirit. So you start doubting what God told
you, or you start doubting withthe prophet said, or you know a
lot of times, you know,we we we've all heard it before.

(42:37):
You know, people say that prophetwasn't real because I didn't I didn't relate
to none he said to me.Doesn't mean that he wasn't real. You
just workd you just didn't have anear to hear what he was saying.
So, but if you took itto God, God could explain it to
you a little better. But ifyou already just cut that prophet down and

(42:58):
said he's not real. Nothing hesaid made sense, then that word is
not going to manifest for you.So, you know, I believe fear
is a tool of the enemy wherehe uses it to keep you from doing
the things of God. He usesit to make you doubt the words that

(43:19):
you're hearing, or the encouragement thatyou're getting. Even sometimes the success that
you have. He uses fear tomake you categorize it and dismiss it.
You know, oh, it wasa fluke. You know, it won't
happen again. You know, thingslike that. Those are words of fear
that the enemy tries to get intoyour eargate and tell you that you're not

(43:40):
gonna be all that God has alreadytold you you're going to be. So
that's how I look at fear, and I think it's important to just stay
in prayer, especially when you geta word or even when you get those
words of fear. You know, when you hear those words coming into your
eargate or trying to come into yourspirit. That's when you open up your

(44:00):
Bible, when you start saying,I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I'm
seeking the kingdom of guys, soI have to be victorious in all things,
you know. That's when you starttalking to those to that spirit that
wants you to settle in that fearfulplace so you you're not stuck being fearful.

(44:22):
Yes, I'm talking about any man, oh man. Okay. The
next one is slaying the giant ofloneliness. When my father and my mother
forsake me, then the Lord willtake care of me Psalm's twenty seventeen.

(44:46):
Again, Loneliness is not something Istruggle with. I like well, I
like being alone, but I don'tfeel lonely because I like me. I'm
good what my company is me andI'm cool. I'm a cool versus okay
with that, but and I'm comfortablewith my nerdy this too. Um,

(45:14):
I'm okay with that. Yes Iam. I am a nerd, always
have been, always will be.It works for me. Um. But
I do know that this is thisis a real issue for people. Um.
And I do pray that people whoeverif you're listening and then this is
one of your struggles. I sincerelypray that this no longer becomes your struggle,

(45:36):
that, um, you know, something we say on the show can
really help you. Um. Andif you don't feel like you can overcoming
on your own, I just wantto encourage you to reach out to your
pastors, your friends, people thatyou know will give you sound advice and
sound counsel and help you. Idon't want to use the word overcome,
but help you slay this giant, that this is no longer a painful thing

(46:04):
or a disturbing thing for you inyour life. Zepan Nia three seventeen says
the Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One will save. He
will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with his love.
He will rejoice over you with sinking. Man a man, hey man.
And you know, loneliness is nota bad thing. Loneliness is not a

(46:32):
bad thing, guys, because usuallyif you are in a place of loneliness,
it's because God wants to say somethingto you. You know, he
wants to put you in a placewhereas only you and him so he can

(46:52):
download things into you, so hecan express things to you, so he
can express his love to you.You know, being in a only place
sometimes it's not a bad thing. It is not a bad thing at all.
For the word the Lord says,it says. This is a Hebrews
thirteen and the fifth verse it says, for he himself has said, I

(47:15):
will never leave you nor forsake you, and he won't. He will not
you. You are never alone.Reach out to him, Speak to him.
He's always lessening. He always hasan intentive ear to hear you.
You know. I used to feelin a place of loneliness sometimes. And

(47:43):
when I got a hold of theWord and I gave myself to the Lord
and I accepted Jesus as my personalsafety and Lord, a lot of things
opened up for me. Well.I felt that being alone really was a
bad place, and that I would, you know, overcome some things by

(48:06):
just listening to what God had tosay to me. Loneliness, it's not
it's not a bad thing. It'snot, you know, And I encourage
just like my wife said, youknow, talk with a friend, talk

(48:27):
with your pastor talk with the saints. Just you know, just keep it
moving. You know. I agree, I agree with you on that this
next one sling the giant of guilt. You know that's a bad thing.
Guilt will eat you up. Yeah, guilt will eat you up. But

(48:52):
that's when the enemy wants to reallyget at you. When the when the
guilt comes because you think you've donesomething that was not pleasing to the Lord
or you, you've done something thatwas outside of his will. And the
enemy will come and stow. Imean, he will come behind you in
your ear and slay all kind ofcondemnations to you. See, I told

(49:14):
you you shouldn't have did that.See. And the thing about it is,
when we do something that's outside thewill of God, that's our flesh
that did it. It's our flesh, it's my flesh. But the enemy
will come in quickly and will bringa word to you that will make you
feel so guilty. But the Lord, but the Lord slow to anger,

(49:43):
slow to anger. I mean, his mercy and grace is always upon us.
The word of the Lord says inPsalm thirty two one and two.
Blessed is he whose transgressions is forgiven, for who sin is covered. Blessed
is the man whom the Lord doesnot impute iniquity and in whose spirit,

(50:06):
there's no deceit. The Lord willforgive you. A lot of times we
forget. We hold on to guiltthat we've kind of imposed on ourselves,
and we're feeling guilty over things thatwe shouldn't or things we can just repent
and be released from. And whenwe hold on to the guilt, it's

(50:27):
like we're holding ourselves hostage to whateverissue, you know, we think we
created, or whatever we think wedid wrong. You know, if you
feel if I'm feeling guilty about somethingI think I did to somebody else,
I call the person and try toresolve the issue. Yeah, because one,
I don't want to feel guilty,And if I really feel like I
did something wrong, I want tocorrect it. You know, I want
to correct And you know, ifnothing else, if we didn't learnything else

(50:50):
in the last twenty something months,we've learned that people are not promised to
us. So if I got anissue with somebody, I want to resolve
it while they're still here for meto do it, while I'm still here
to do it. You know, you just don't know. You may want
to make that call and that personcan be gone. You just know,
nowadays you just don't know, SoI say, seize the moment and try

(51:12):
to, you know, do whateveryou have to do to release yourself.
You know, guilt is also aform of unforgiveness. And if we learn
how to forgive ourselves first and alot of the things that we do or
don't do, um, we wouldn'tcarry the guilt from season to season.
You know, we have to wereally have to learn to release. But

(51:32):
do you know what I just wantto say something. You know, it's
a lot of times that you knowthat it's not the heavenly Father that's proven
you guilty, it's us, Wethe ones that you know, put the
guilt on you. And that's whatI'm saying. We you know, you
hold yourself to so many things, and you hold yourself to all these different
standards and all these different rules, and then of course people have their own

(51:55):
interpretations of how how guilt should beassessed, you know, and it's not
it's not it's not okay. Andlike I said, if if it's against
someone else, called the person, you may be feeling guilty over something that
they don't forgot completely about. Butbut but the still the argument is it

(52:19):
is we we blame the guilt onother people, just like the woman that
called got caught in the middle ofadultery. You know, they bring this
woman to Jesus. Jesus like, you know what's going on here? He
said? Whoever's perfect? Cast thefirst though? The woman still standing there?
He like, what you still standing? Fault? You know? Hey,

(52:42):
I don't. I don't deem youguilty, you know, send,
go and send no more? Right, you know he liked this here,
go and send no more. Iain't know this I got you know,
let me, let me continue tokeep writing. I'm picking another car.
Yeah, go and send no moreof a shima of jealousy. Oh,
don't don't be like that. Don'tbe like that. This one is interesting.

(53:08):
We can say a lot about thisone. You know, there's a
lot you can say about this one. You're jealous because you are in other
people's business. That's why you getjealous. I thought this was my car.
I'm just saying, Okay, wellyou know, I'm just saying.
You know I'm talking. You won'tbe jealous. Get your own, get

(53:34):
your own? Can I can?I can I do this now? Because
I thought I did pull the car? Yeah. So Psalm's one on seven
nine. Can we turn this micz one on seven nine said, for
he satisfies the longing soul and feelsthe hungry soul with goodness. So I'm
gonna say this about jealousy. Firstof all, I think jealousy is a

(53:55):
direct sign of immaturity because mature peopledon't have First of all, don't have
any interests and what you know andthe things that cause you to be jealous,
and mature people are more focused onwhat they're doing to find something to
be jealous about. Can I justsay it that way to me? When

(54:17):
you're when you're somebody, then you'reyou're When you're caught up in jealousy and
envy, that is a telltale signfor me that you still operate like a
child. Like we used to sayback in the day that this because grown
folks handle grown folks business. Jealousydon't have no place in any of that.

(54:38):
So, first and foremost, noteven talking about the Christian aspect of
it, that's just real talk. When you when you dealing with jealousy,
that's just immature, childish behavior.Stop it. It's just simple, No,
just that simple. Stop it.From a Christian standpoint, if there's

(55:00):
something. If someone has something youthink you want, you take the time
to learn how to get it.Don't be jealous about it. If you
see a sister that's doing better thanyou, talk to her. See if
she'll mentor you, so you findout how to come up like her.
That's what I would do. I'vedone it. I've literally met people.

(55:22):
I've never liked to be a speaker. I've never liked to talk in front
of people. But God made itvery clear to me that he was going
to force me to do that. And I came across a lady. She
was a presenter at some event Iwas going to. I thought she was
amazing, and she was dynamic andshe was interesting, which is great for

(55:42):
me because it takes a lot forme to be interested in people, because
being an introvert, I just liketo kind of go off in the cut.
When the program was over, Iwent directly to her, didn't know
her, and just asked her,can you mentor me? Because I need
to learn how to talk like you. It's not a jealousy thing. I
know at some point I'm gonna needthis tool. Can you help me?

(56:07):
Again? Jealousy it's for them haters. I'm just gonna give it to you
transparently. You know, you cansay all that fool fool stuff. Look
here, look here, jealousy ishate us. They're haters. Okay,
they're haters. What you're gonna do? You know what, I'm gonna keep
shining, That's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna keep praising, I'm gonna

(56:30):
keep lifting them up. I'm gonnakeep That's what I'm gonna do. Can
y'all pray for me? You knowwhat? You look here, I love
them dearly, y'all. You knowwhat I'm saying. That's what he's supposed
We're supposed to pray for our enemies. We're supposed to encourage them. You

(56:51):
see them acting up, then youencourage them to do yeah, yeah,
and and and stay in your lane, hater, no care. Okay.
The word of the Lord, theLord is near to all who call upon
him, to all who call uponhim in truth. Okay, call upon

(57:13):
the Lord. Get your own isnot okay? Maybe not call upon the
Lord that he removed that spirit ofjealousy from you, that attitude and that
that eye that makes you want whatother people have. I don't want what
other people have. I want whatGod has for me. Amen. Amen,

(57:37):
You know, guys, we're aboutto wrap this one up. But
in all sincerity, you know, well, I like to joke and I
like to you know, try tokeep it as transparent as I can.
But you know this here is true. This is a wiles of the enemy.
The giant is of the enemy. It is not of God, of

(58:00):
the enemy. And we just wantto give you the word on how this
is even irrelevant to Jesus. Yeah, yeah, and that's because David had
five I'm sorry, he had fivestones and used one just not Goliathe upside
the head and bring him down withthe strength of the Lord that was behind

(58:24):
him. He didn't have any weaptrythat the army had. He had everything
from the Lord Jesus. The Lordgave his only begotten son for us that
we may not perish but have everlastinglife. So he Jesus defeated the sin
of death. He asked, whereis your sting now? Jesus defeated the

(58:50):
death. So with that being said, y'all, the giant, the sling
of the giant is through Jesus Christ. He is the only one that can
help you through this. He isthe only one that can pull you through.
So we just want to encourage you, guys, to get into your

(59:12):
word, to pray, to seekGod's face, not just seek his hand,
but to seek his face that hemay enlighten you and give you revelation
of what you need on how toslay your own giant. With that being
said, I just want to thankyou guys for being with us one more
time. I want to thank youguys for listening and being with us and

(59:37):
laughing and joking with us. Forwe love you and we give praise and
honor to God for you guys, and we just want to say thank you,
and we're signing it off. OhI'm sure my wife has something she
wants to say before we leave.Love you all, Thank you for listening.
