The follow way is a presentation ofFCB Faith. It's the hour GLASSCB Radio
Networking. Hello, Hello, Helloeverybody, this is an Hourglass. I

(00:25):
am Rashima Haggans and I am BruceLamont Haigens the second. Hey Rashima,
what's happening? Well, you knowwhat, guys, I know it was
a switch that you heard her movefirst on the mic, and I wanted
to do that because, you know, as we do this podcast service for
you guys, I want to showthat she has a say in a platform

(00:49):
in this. So if I canjust take a moment to brag on my
wife for a moment, yeah,I won't be. I won't be before
your long. Um. I'm veryproud of my wife for how she lets
the Lord use her in a mightyway. You know. I love her
for that because she's very diligent towhat God says. You know, we

(01:11):
always want to say, you know, I want to hear from the Lord.
I need a word from the Lord. But see, God won't talk
to you if you're not fully tryingto hear him. But the Lord talks
to my wife and she gives aword and I respect that. So I
just want to tell you today,Rashima, how much I love you,
how much I thank God for youfor being diligent and obedient to Him.

(01:34):
Because you know, it's funny,a lot of people always want want a
lot of men, you know, and I ain't myself, some men,
not all men, but you know, they want this glory and they want
this power, but they don't knowhow to handle it. They don't really
know. We don't even really knowhow to humble ourselves. Like myself,
you know, I'm still that kindof person that you know, if I

(01:55):
think if I had the power,I will zap you down, because you
know, I just got that kindof power, you know, I you
know, that's just me. Butyou know, women that I've known that
that flows in the grace of thegrace of the Lord will truly humble himself
to hear what God has to sayto them. And I just want to
thank you this morning or this uh, this afternoon, this time, whatever

(02:16):
it is, to just say howmuch I appreciate you for that and how
much I know how victorious you're gonnabe in this movement of God that uh
he has for you. So whatwith that being said, you know what
you know hand to your business.I'm with you today, a man.

(02:38):
So the topic today is victorious living. Oh yeah, don't shine forever.
But it was shine together. Butnow a never business before pleasure, you
know you know that one. No, that's victory. You know what.
No, puff daddy, you knowwhat? You Okay. So Victoria's living

(03:07):
means to me, it means walkingin the blessings of God. So I'm
gonna start off with the scripture andwe're just gonna talk about it. So
John ten Ten read the thief doesnot come except to steal and to kill
and to destroy. I have comethat they may have life, and that

(03:27):
they may have it more abundantly. So the part I want to focus on
is the latter part of that verse, where it says I have come that
they may have life and that theymay have it more abundantly. Because I
kept I kept reading it over andover, and I kept trying to understand
why God kept taking me, takingme to that scripture, and he said,

(03:57):
in this scripture there's a key word, and the key word is may.
The key word is may. Andby saying in the scripture may,
it means that there is a choicethat has to be made because you may
means I can if I have permission. Right, So this word means this

(04:23):
is a choice. There's a choicethrough Christ that abundant life can be possible,
but it's up to you to choose. So, you know, God
didn't intend for just some people tohave life abundantly. You know, sometimes
we get into this religious thinking andwe say, well, only if you're

(04:45):
a prophet or only the apostles, only the pastors are supposed to live a
certain way or have certain things. That is not what the word of God
says. He says, I comethat they may have life more abundantly.
He's talking all of his believers. He's not just talking about the people that
are in church. So when he'stalking about all of the believers can have

(05:06):
life and have it more abundantly,he's saying, if you believe in me,
you can have whatever I choose togive you. So if he's saying
all I have to do is believe, why aren't more believers walking in victory?
Okay? So that was my questionand that's where it came. If
if if God says I can havewhatever he can give me, and he's

(05:30):
God and he has control over everythingbecause He's made everything why am I struggling?
Clearly is not something wrong, goodGod, It's got to be something
wrong with me, right, Yeah, So that's what I want to talk
about today. Okay, do youwant to say, well, yeah,
you know, I would like tosay something. You know, when we

(05:55):
when I think about being in victory, do I know who I am?
You follow what I'm saying? DoI know who I am? Some?
Most not all don't realize who theyare. You know, the Word of

(06:19):
the Lord says, greater is hethat is in you than is he that
is in the world. It's thegreatness that's in you. If we can
realize the greatness that it's in youthrough God, you know, it's a
lot. Okay, let's think ofthe days of old in the Old Testament,

(06:43):
a lot of victories were one.But if we know that God is
with us, who can be againstus? Right? Excuse me? Yes?
So do we not believe what theWord of God is saying? He
say he is? He said,Lo, I will be with you until
the ends of ends of time. He's always with us. But the victory,

(07:06):
we have to realize that the victorycomes from God and God with us
in us. Yes, because asa believer of God as a as a
believer, it is my right toexperience certain pleasures. It's my right to
expect certain blessings. You know,we're taught um to walk into expectation.

(07:28):
You know, I expect to beblessed because I'm a child of God.
Okay, well not now, seesee now, I gotta take it there.
I'm about to get transparent. Nowyou know what I'm saying. Okay,
I am a believer. I amright. I mean you know that
I'm a believer. But my thingis this. Okay, example, how
many times have I filled out forthese jobs and I ain't got one yet?

(07:51):
Saying now, we got to lookat this. I want to be
victorious. Where I am? Idon't feel Oh wait a minute, no,
don't don't. Don't you cut meoff. I saw you where where
I am? I don't really wantto be Okay, you got to cut
you off. But I thought youwere asking a question. I ain't finished.

(08:13):
I ain't finished. Okay, Wellhow long is the question? You
said? We got to go throughthis all the time of you just need
to stop now listen, because alot of people feel this way. I'm
not the only one that feels thisway A lot of people feel. Look
here, you know what I serveGod. I serve God. I do
the best I can to be holy. He said, be ye holy,

(08:35):
because I am holy. I tryto be holy. I ain't cussing nobody
out. I ain't playing hands onnobody. I'm you know, I'm cool.
You know what I'm saying. Eventhough I feel like he said,
okay, be angry as saying notokay, all right, I be angry,
but I won't hit him, allright. So so look, so
look, so I want to bevictorious. You know, if I'm victorious,

(08:58):
I won't have to worry about anybodymessing with me. Right, Okay,
Because I'm victorious, I got Godgave me what I wanted. I've
run the victory. How long? How long does it take? Because it
feel like I'm losing this battle,I'm I want to I want to serve

(09:18):
God. You know I'm not theonly want to feel this way. I
want to serve God. I'm ina place right now where look Lord,
you know you know, and youalways say this, You always say this.
You say God, don't dangle toCarret. Okay, he ain't dangling
the care but I'm reaching for somethingand it's there and I can't grab it.
I want to be victorious. Okay, Lord says do this will,

(09:41):
do thy will? Okay, Lord, I know what your will is.
You know you instruct me on whatyour will is, and I'm doing it.
But I'm still trying to get youknow, you say, seeky first
the Kingdom of God and all hisrighteousness. I'm seeking, but it don't
seem like I'm being very victorious. Is in this? What do we what
do we do? What do wedo with that? Well to your first

(10:05):
point, because you actually brought upthree in your first point, I would
say when you're when you're going forsomething and it's not working, then that's
when that's I'm just I can onlyspeak on what I do. That's when
I go back to God and askGod, where does he want me to
go? What does he want meto do? Because a lot of times
we go for things that we want, but they're not in line with his

(10:26):
will. So if you're going forsomething and it's not in line with his
will, it's not going to cometo pass because he can't grant you something
outside of his will. He can'tcontradict himself but what I'm sorry to cut
you off, But what about whatthe word says, if you delight yourself
and him, he would give youthe desires of your heart. He would

(10:48):
give you the desires of your heart, as long as it lines up with
this one. But that's not that'snot what I say, though. The
word says if you delight yourself inhim, But he's God and he cannot
conque addict himself. Okay, Soeven if it is what you want,
if it doesn't line up with hiswill, you're asking him to give you
something that contradicts who he is andhe cannot do that. So I can't

(11:13):
get what I want. Doesn't meanyou can't get what you want. Maybe,
just maybe he has something better maybewith you. Maybe what you applying
for is too low for you.Maybe you need to be looking at bigger
Okay. And when it says, when you were talking about how long you
know, God's time is not ourtime? And yeah, it does get

(11:37):
frustrating, it gets tiring. Umyou know you you end up on your
face. Then Lord, how muchlonger do I have to deal with this?
And the short answer is you haveto deal with it until he says
you don't. Okay, So whatif I'm looking for the answer, you
know what? Do? What doI do? Okay? This is the

(11:58):
kind of person if I ask forsomething and I'm not gonna get it,
can at least get the answer thatI'm not gonna get it. Sometimes God
won't answer you at all. Youknow, you just don't hear nothing.
You know, you don't hear it. Right, That's when you're being stretched

(12:20):
to just to increase your faith. That's when you're being stretched to go deeper
in your prayer life or have aprayer life if you don't already have one.
Okay, you know what, you'rejust doing way too much over there,
you Okay, I'm making more noise. Try to be quiet, so

(12:43):
you know, all right? Beingvictorious? Right, Yes, I'm like
this, I'm like this. Iwant to do. I want to I
want the victory. And you know, you know, we know the word

(13:05):
says the battle is not ours,it's the lord's. But it seems like
I'm in the middle of this battleand I'm the one getting hit. Yeah,
you know, I got my fullarmor on. I'm good. I
got you know, I'd asked forthe full armor of God that I may
be well shielded from the crown ofmy head to the souls of my feet.

(13:28):
I'm standing on the word with thesword, you know, and I'm
with my Lord with the flag inmy hand, and it seems like I'm
getting hit right. And God neversaid when you are walking with him that
you never go through things. Hesaid to expect trials, did he not?
Did he? Yeah? He did, he said, he said you

(13:50):
should. You can expect to gothrough some things. You can expect to
be persecuted, you can expect tobe attacked as you're going through, okay,
But you have to believe that you'regoing to come out of it victorious.
You have to keep proclaiming and declaring. You know, when you pray,
you have to declare because you area child of God, You're going

(14:11):
to be victorious in all things.Because you are a child of God,
You're covered. Because you are achild of God, all things that are
meant for evil will turn around andwork in your favor. You have to
declare that and believe it when yousay it. Okay. And my next
point was because you said this wasmy time to talk. But yet,

(14:31):
but yet, and still seem likeyou're taking over. So I'm just saying,
I know, but your questions islike seven minutes long. Well give
you a seven minute asses, ohit, Joe thirty six eleven. It
says if they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity

(14:52):
and their years and pleasures. Whatis that? If they obey and serve
of him, they shall spend theirdays in prosperity and their years and pleasures.
So God never intended for his blessingsto just be for a handful of
folks. Or he didn't say youcan only get these blessings if you join

(15:15):
a certain church. He didn't evensay you had to belong to a church
to walk into blessings. He said, if they obey and serve him.
So his reason for letting us knowthat is because He intended for every believer
to walk in his blessings and achievethings that could not be accomplished without him.

(15:37):
That's how you expand on your faith. That's how you grow in this
grace that we talk about all thetime. You know, people say I'm
walking in the favor of God.That's how you experience the favor of God.
Did you want to make a point, No, I'll go ahead because
I'm gonna get there. You justgo ahead. I'm gonna come out at

(15:58):
ye bitter. So that doesn't meanyou know, when I say when I'm
talking about victorious, living, walkinginto blessings of God, doesn't mean that
I don't have struggles or I don'thave issues. When you say I am
victorious, you're just proclaiming to bevictorious through all things. You're walking an
expectation. I walk an expectation thatthings are going to work out in my

(16:22):
favor because God's told me that's howit's going to work out. He told
me if I believe and I prayand I bring you know, God's word
back to him. Your words says, if I obey and serve, I'll
spend my days in prosperity. SoI'm believing from my prosperity. I'm believing
from my time, not just myseason concessions come and go. I'm believing

(16:47):
from my time of pleasure because yourwords said if I obey you, and
I'm obeying you, your words says, if I serve you, I've served
you almost all my life. SoI'm expect this to work out for me.
I'm expecting this to end. Youknow in a way that I know
it's pleasing for you, so it'sgonna be pleasing for me. So I

(17:07):
know it's going to work out.And I'm not you know, I think
sometimes we we ask God for ablessing, but then we tell them how
to bless us, or we havea certain way in our mind of how
the blessing is supposed to look, and because it doesn't look that way,
we think it's not happening. Andsometimes you miss your blessing because you're looking
for the wrong thing. So ifyou're you know, believing God and you're

(17:33):
saying I'm I'm believing Him for thisblessing, you can't get into your own
head and say this is how I'msupposed to look when it comes. Okay,
now, may I've made a comment? Yes, okay, and I
you know what, I totally agreewith you on that. But I want
to ask you this question. Iwant to ask you this question and to

(17:55):
the best of you know, letthe Holy Spirit usual on this because this
question is serious. Now, wehave men and women of God who are
behind the pulpit. You know,I'm not a polls to a woman preacher.
You know, you know Jesus hadmarried, told Mary, go get
my boys and let them know thatI'm in the place. You know.

(18:17):
We know Mary had a part todo with what's going on with Jesus.
Right. So we're looking at menand women who see other men and women
of God who are behind the sacreddeaths, who are not doing or what
we think they're not doing what's supposedto be done. And it's a tug

(18:38):
of war because you have the peoplethat we want to pull in to be
victorious. And when I say pullin, I'm talking about to know the
true gospel of Jesus and to sayyou can be victorious if you accept Jesus
as your personal savior and Lord. But on the on the flip side of
that, they are looking at thechurch. They're looking and when I say

(19:02):
the church, I mean the people. They are looking at the people,
the man and women of God whoare not doing right, and they're like,
well, why should I even dothis? Well, I should just
stay and sin because they're doing thesame thing. So we're looking at what
what do you suggest to the menand women who are trying to do God's
will to be victorious in this battlethat we're going through. What do you
think, what do you think shouldhow do you think that that? What

(19:26):
does that look like for you? What does that look like for you?
For me? Whenever, excuse me, whenever i'm at um in a church,
I pray honestly before I go inthat I don't look at the person,
but the spirit that operates in theperson. And I look at I'm
looking for because I'm looking for God. I'm looking for that experience with God.

(19:49):
I'm not looking for, you know, God to be that person.
What I'm saying is, I'm lookingfor that experience and if and I'm looking
at that person as the shepherd,I'm not looking at him as a man.
As a man and as a human, I can look at just about
anybody and find fault, So Itry not to look at the man.

(20:15):
And I would say, if you'reif you're in a place and your spirit
is being disturbed by whatever's going onin the pulpit, that is not like
God. You really need to askyourself if that's the place for you.
But on the flip on the flipside of that, as well, what
was your other part of your question? Because you have something else? I

(20:38):
think I asked you what you know, what does that look like on the
level off if the if they're tryingto be victorious in the ways of God
to move forward with those who arelooking are those are those who we are
speaking to giving the gospel, andthey look at the church and they say,

(21:00):
well, why should I do that? Why should I do what you're
doing? You know this person justyou know, just did this to this
part. You don't, you know? And my general rule is a pastor
can't take me where he hasn't beenhimself. You know, you can't talk
to me about victorious living if you'renot living victoriously. So if I'm if

(21:21):
I'm seeking victorious living, but everytime I come into church you're talking about
how you need help with your bills. You obviously ain't the pastor for me.
So if they don't you know whatI'm saying. So if you got
a nice card, they don't knowa nice card. No, no,
because victorious, victorious living is beyondmaterial. This ain't stuff. It ain't

(21:42):
about stuff. Okay, Yeah, anybody can acquire stuff, and I know
a whole lot of folks got awhole lot of stuff and they broke.
That don't mean nothing. You know, we all capable of making it look
a certain way. My man,do you got a word for those?
But whatever we do? But youknow, but I'm just my Like I

(22:07):
said, my general rule is andalways will be. You know, pastor
can't take you where they haven't been. Okay, how are you gonna take
me to a place of victory? You ain't even experienced it yet, So
how are you gonna teach it tome? It's like saying, you know,
I'm gonna I'm gonna follow this pastor. But you know they don't believe
in gifts of the spirit, butI know I got gifts. So what

(22:29):
can you do for me? Sowhat is it? What is the point?
You know? And I'm I'm definitelyat that age, Bruce where it
has to produce for me. Idon't have time to waste with people,
ain't got time to be playing withyou. If I walk away, it
ain't personal. My spirit is justnot moved to keep going with you.
That's it. It's nothing personal. It's not whether or not I like the

(22:52):
way you dressed, where you smell, the whey you look. Most of
the time, I don't even noticethat kind of stuck about people anymore.
Anyway, but I'm at that point, that age, that place on my
walk where if you, if youcan't help me get to where I'm trying
to go, I'll just see youwhen God tell me to come see you.

(23:14):
And you know, and in themeantime, I got to keep pressing
because to walk victoriously, to walkin the blessings of God, you can't
turn that on or off. Yougot to be pursuing this thing all day,
every day, all the time, and everything has to line up,
everything has to match that walk. You know. You can't turn it off

(23:37):
till you can hang with your cousinswhen they come in from out to town,
you know, and and then getback in line when they leave.
You have to be about this allthe time. And if you say this
is what you're this is this iswhat you're really pursuing, This is what
you're really trying to tap into it, don't cut off. Yeah that's good.

(24:00):
Yeah man. So we know thatall of God's promises to others are
by our faith. So our faithare you saying our faith lines up with
the victorious living Yes, yes, because faith produces at the level where it

(24:22):
is well, you know, that'sjust like I guess when the walls of
uh well, the Jericho came down, right. You know, God didn't
you know, he didn't give them, you know, stallion to going there
and take over. You know whatwas they was by faith and went around
the tower was seven times and blewthe trump walls came down. That was

(24:45):
victory, right, Yes, Andbecause we've been taught more than once that
you have to believe. You know, your faith is tied into what you
believe. You believe something is goingto happen, it happens. You know,
you you have to type, youhave to tap into your faith,
which you believe how much you're believingGod for you know, I used to

(25:07):
say, you know, you hearpeople saying the rain is coming, the
rain, and then the latter rainis coming. I don't want my blessings
and drops. I don't. Idon't have rain drop faith I have I
have faith. I have rain faith. I wanted to rain. I don't
want drop by drop, So youwant poor I wanted to pour for heaven,

(25:30):
yes, and pour out such ablessing that you may have rooms oversee
Yes in the day. But Jesusright, Yes, that's victory right,
That's that's victory. Right, that'svictory. Yes, how you get there?
I got seven steps that we cantalk about after the brain. Whoa,
that's fire. Okay, well i'lltell you what. Roshima. I
want to thank you because you knowyou fired to day there you fired.

(25:53):
So we're gonna take a little breakand we'll be back. Aroshima finish us
all with the seven fire steps forvictory. Thank you for joining us.
This is the hour Glass stick ourglass on the FCB Radio Network. Hello,

(26:15):
and welcome back to the hour Glass. I am Rashima Haggins. I'm
Bruce Haggins, the second. Sorryabout that caught you off guard, didn't
I always do? So this ispart two of Victorious Living. And as
promised, I got seven steps forvictorious living. Now I want to say

(26:38):
this is seven steps season all thesteps. This is just the first step.
I got some steps. Okay, okay. Step one. We might
we might need to do this rightnow. Pray. Nobody need them.

(27:00):
You might need to. My prayershall that we need, we need,
I need to cover you. Soprayer. Prayer first of all, anything
I do, I'm gonna start offwith prayer because prayer is it's your personal
time with God. It's your timeto develop your relationship with God. You
know, I look at prayer asjust like if I was trying to get
to know somebody, a person, you know, I would spend time talking

(27:23):
to them, getting to know themand building that relationship with them. In
prayer, for me is my timeto build my relationship with God. But
more importantly than that, you know, prayers where things are burst and killed
and solved and answered. You know, prayers when God talks to me.

(27:45):
So in all things and anything youdo, especially if you're listening to the
hourglass, you'll come to learn thateverything begins and ends in prayer. Did
you want to say something about that, honey, pray without season. That's

(28:06):
the communication that you have to have. I mean it's this, that's without
question. You have to have prayer. You have to have relationship to even
to even seek God's face, youhave to have that relationship. And especially
that relationship is with Jesus Christ becausehe said I am the Way, the

(28:27):
Truth, and the Life. Soyou got to have that kind of relationship
that that blood has to cover youbecause without victory, see the victory,
we won the victory. We wonthe victory over death. We won the
victory over all things that come towardsus because of that blood. It's that
blood, because see, God don'tsee you. He see that blood.

(28:49):
And when that blood when you whenyou praying, it's that prayer. Pray
without season, always pray, prayfor everything. I pray for every and
you have to for and about everythingthat's right. Yes, right. So
step number two is worship. Youhave to worship. You have to spend

(29:10):
time worship, singing, talking, thanking. Anything that shows gratitude and worship
and reverence to God is worship.I lift my hand if I had a
tambourine and help him out right now, y'all. Worship, that's right.

(29:33):
Worship is important. Pray, prayingand worshiping is the two most important things
because that's where God is going toreveal things to you. That's when he's
gonna talk to you. That's whenthings are going to be made clear.
That's where that revelation comes from. That time, praying and worshiping, worship,
whip and spirit and truth. Weare definitely in a time wh true

(30:00):
worshipers from real unashamed worship, unadultsrated. I'm talking about the true worship,
the worship of the Lord. I'mtalking about moving forward in the name
of Jesus. That's the victory ofworship. Amen, worshup, Amen pastor.

(30:22):
All right, go ahead. I'msorry, I'm sorry. Amen.
Number three. It's the big one, the big one. That's another on
the big This is big because it'shard for people to do. Okay,
let's go stay humble. Oh boy, So when where's the wild? Wild?
Wild? This is this is true. This is true. You talk

(30:45):
about if you ever wonder why yougetting why you're dealing with setbacks, check
your heart and your attitude. Yes, it is hard for us as human
being as to stay humble. Weget a piece of a blessing and we
start acting like, you know, like we Moses or something like, you
know, we get so arrogant becauseyou know, we got you know,

(31:07):
we've been praying for a house orsomething for for five six years and God
opened the door and we get ahouse, and then we know, then
we act like, you know,we like the king, realtor or something
like. It's what you've been askingfor? Why are you arrogant? And
what God gave you? Yeah? Can I can I speak on that real
quick? I just want to tellthis story is, this is crazy.

(31:30):
I was working at this restaurant.I was a chef here. I was
the head chef at Castaldi's, andI was I ran this restaurant. I
mean, I mean, I didwhat I needed to do for this restaurant.
And I never forget. We hada big, big party and I,
you know, I set up theparty. I had my people in

(31:52):
place, and we need right, you know. And somebody came up to
me and said, Bruce the man, and I said, I show them.
And when I said that, Itook the knife and cut my figures
straight open, and I talked aboutit was crazy and I swore it to
that day. I said, Lord, Lord, I would never take your

(32:14):
glory. I wouldn't even really savethat when I do. When I said
that, that was the wrong thingto say, and that truly humbled me
and everything that I do from justthat cut. Because when I said that,
I cut my head over so I'llbe it was dial to the bone

(32:35):
and the and he let me doit. There. No, you ain't
taking this, You ain't taking thisglory. You better recognize who gave you
that gift. And you got tostay humble. You do it right and
like I said, this is hardbecause as people, as human beings,
you know, we want to feel. We get the feeling some kind of
way. When if you're not, when you're not used to walking in the

(33:00):
victory of God, when you firststarted experiencing it, you be like,
oh my, you know, youreally start feeling yourself. So I just
want to caution everybody. You know, when you start this journey, stay
humble. If you start feeling thatpride and that arrogance rising up in you,
rebuke it, pray to God toget it out of you. Pat

(33:23):
yourself on the back because you recognizedit. But don't stay there. Don't
just listen to what I'm saying. And when I was praying about this and
that and that humility, just thatstruggle that we have with humility, he
showed me a cup of oil,and it's like having a cup of oil

(33:46):
and then filling it to the rimand saying, now I want to put
some water in there. So youknow, it was like he was he
was telling me, you know,he can't dwell in a place that's full
of arrogance. He can't mix orblend with in a place where arrogance is
prominent. So stay humble, becausethat's to me, that's a really good

(34:07):
way of losing that covering is lettingthat arrogance take over, because God can't
sit with you when you're arrogant. So I just want to caution y'all on
that step ready for stepping on foot. Let's go, all right, study
the Word of God. It isso much fun to listen to the pod,

(34:31):
listen to podcast like the Hourglass, and watch people on TV and listen
to what all these people are saying. But I cannot tell y'all enough.
Get into that Bible yourself and learnwhat the Word of God means to you.
It is so dangerous when we justlisten to what everybody else says and

(34:52):
we repeat what other people say.Something I knew you wasn't have something to
say, and and and the wordand the world also says line upon line,
line upon line, precept upon precept, precept upon precept, here,
a little there, a little takeyour time, yes, take your time.

(35:14):
Chew on that word. You know, I was told when you do
when you studying the word, yougotta do it like a cow. You
know, you gotta chew on theword. And you know the cow choose
on the grain and choose on thegrain, and then he gurgitates it back
up, and then he choose onit some more. I'm sorry to explain
it to you that way, butthat's how I was taught how to read
the word. Because the word isalive and well, and you will get

(35:37):
a new The word is so coldthat you will get a new revelation every
time you read the same word.Man, that's fire, that's fire,
and that is that is another thing. You take your time. That was
an excellent point, honey, Um, take your time and learn. Don't
try to you know, don't startoff the new year saying you're gonna read

(35:58):
the whole Bible. That's crazy.Don't do that. So many people try
to do that. Don't do that. Or you know, I'm gonna do
it. I'm gonna do it coverto cover that my birthday. Don't do
that. You take your time, take your time. If you stay in
one chapter for months, that's okay, because like Bruce said, every time

(36:23):
you read it, it's gonna meansomething else. And depending on where you
are in your life, it's gonnait's gonna come to a point of revelation
differently than before. To study theWord of God for yourself. Anything we
say on this podcast, we totallyencourage you all to take it back to

(36:44):
the Word and and and you know, learn with us, amen, because
we still don't know. Absolutely. We're not saying we know the book cover
to cover. We don't know theBible cover to cover. You know,
I don't know every thing. Weknow a lot, and we're willing to
share. And that's what we gotabout revelation from the Lord. And we're

(37:05):
always going to be students as wellas teachers. So once we learn,
we give it to you. Sostep number five, believe there is no
point in doing any of this ifyou don't believe, you don't believe what
you're praying for, you don't believewho you're praying to, you don't believe

(37:27):
what you're praying about. This isall just a game. Yeah, it's
pointless towards your faith. And thissays the Word of the Lord says it
is impossible to please God if youdon't faith. So if you don't have
faith and you don't believe in anyof this, don't do it. Just

(37:49):
don't. But if you believe,if you have faith, keep that faith,
stretch that faith level up on yourfaith, because as you go further
in your faith, you go furtherin your blessings, because you go further
in your victorious living. Because hesaid, either you're gonna be hot,
are you gonna be cold? Ifyou warm, I'll spew you out my

(38:13):
mouth. What is it you seemto find the most extreme verses? And
because that's how you gotta come atpeople. You gotta be transfer, That's
how you gotta be fired. That'swhat I know. That's that's what God.
Have you ever noticed that he findsthe most extreme verses. That's what
the Lord I'm sitting here reading. If you obey and serve, you don't

(38:36):
spend your days a frosty you knowhe got you gotta be hot cold,
that's it. Don't come playing withGod. He said, come boldly before
the throne of Grace. They're comingin. Oh Lord, I know you're
busy. People have to work.I know you. I know you got
so much time on your hands. And you know, if you can just
spear a little bit of time tohelp me. No, No, come

(38:58):
boldly before what you want? Whatyou want? Okay, y'all got that?
Okay, tell them what you want. Jesus I got to step six.
Now tell them what you won't hugyou? All right, come on,

(39:23):
let's go, let's go. Okay, step number six. Yeah,
we're gonna dive into this on anotherday. Fast. Every every church we've
ever been to has taught us differentlyabout fasting. Um. It don't matter
who you talk to, you probablyat a different explanation of the reason of

(39:43):
a fast. What is a fast? What kind of fast can you do?
Um? I'm not gonna get intoany of that today. I'm just
gonna tell you that through this processof Victoria's living, there are seasons where
fasting is necessary. And again thatis also attached to your faith. You
have to fast, no fast. All I'm gonna say right now is fasting

(40:07):
not only let you tap into thefavor and the blessings of God, it
also lets you experience the grace ofGod, and it elevates your faith.
Because the only way too fast andabstain from things, especially in a society,
you know, in America, especiallywhere we're just used to having what

(40:27):
we want when we want, excuseme, the only way to tap into
that is by faith, and theonly way to break some things and to
see some things come to past andmanifest in your life. Fasting is part
of that process. So that's allI'm gonna say about fasting now, because
I know we could really go intoit, and I'm not trying to go
there, Bruce, Okay, Butbut there's a scripture and I believe it's

(40:57):
in Matthews. You know, youcan google this and you know, and
and this just a pop up,but it was the story when the man
came to the disciples because his sonwas vexed with a with a spirit of
a demon and he kept the dadsaid, you know, he keeps throwing
himself in the fire. I came, you know, he's going through convulsions.

(41:20):
This dad another and he went toJesus and said, you know,
your dudes couldn't do it. I'mjust paraphrasing. He's like, you know,
your your your man. They couldn'thelp. So Jesus did what he
do. You know, he said, you know, he cast the demon
out. And the disciples came tohim and said, well, how come
we couldn't do it? And Jesus, you know, calmly, politely or

(41:43):
however, he said it with thisone, this one you have to do
by fasting and praying, praying, and fasting. So that and and I'm
saying all that to say this victorydoes come from fasting. That's almost saying
okay, thank you all, allright, thank you. I'm impressed with
you today. You've been kind oftoned down. Oh that's right, so

(42:12):
that there's a reason for awful littlebit. So so step number seven and
the last step for today on myend, the last step for today is
give give what Okay, so andgiving you're giving your time, you're giving

(42:42):
your tides too many times. Youknow, we were growing the things of
God, and we hold it toourselves. You know, we treat it
like once we get it, it'slike some super super secret formula that we
gotten. Nobody else can get it, nobody else can understand it, and
we don't want to share with anybodyelse. But the Bible tells us that

(43:06):
we are supposed to teach one another, we're supposed to help one another.
So if you get this and youstart living in this, you are required
to go back and help someone else, which is part of the reason why
we're talking about it today. Youknow, we're required to say this is

(43:27):
what we're doing. We need y'allto come along with us on this journey
and live victoriously with us. It'snot pleasing to God to just sit on
it and hold it for ourselves, because He don't just want to bless us,
and we don't just want to beexcuse me, we don't want to
be the only ones blessed, youknow. We want to see other people

(43:49):
blessed. We want to hear aboutfolks that know, if you listen to
the eyebroglass and it has blessed yousome kind of way, we want to
hear about those blessings. You know. We want to share um, you
know, just in that in thatin the blessing, so we can honor
God. And giving is not justabout money. It's not just about times.

(44:10):
You know, you you give ofyourself, you help somebody, you
you minister to someone, you sharewhat you know, that's all part of
doing kingdom work, and it's allimportant in the body of Christ. Got
anything else on ye When we talkabout this giving, it is very important

(44:36):
because Jesus wanted us to give, you know, He don't want us to
you know, because the thing aboutthat is we don't own anything. Everything
belongs to the Lord everything, andwe're giving you know, just like in
Matthew twenty five and the fortieth versewhere he speaks on it. He said,
as you've done up to the leastof these, my brethren, you

(44:58):
have also done unto me. Now, you know, we look at that
scripture, and that scripture actually isspeaking on Christians, not so much so
those who are not Christians, becausehe says, you know, those who
are hongry, those who are homeless, those who are inconcerrated. You know,
we need to help one another. We need to stretch out to one

(45:20):
another and give and give, youknow. Now there's the scripture and Proverbs
nineteen and the seventeen verse where itsays, you know, as you give
to the poor, you have lentto me, you know, and I
give you know, and I'm acheerful giver, I give it back to
you. You know. It's ait's a it's a thing where we are
commanded to give, you know, especially when it comes to Matthew twenty five

(45:45):
and the fortieth verse. And Ibelieve I've I've spoken this before, but
Matthew nineteen and the seventeen I meanProverbs nineteen to seventeen. That's where it's
kind, kind of like I believeit's what your ministry is. You know,
he said, I give to youknow, I give that back to
you. You know, you dothis, I give it back. Chill
you. But forty of the Matthew, that's a commander. You know,

(46:07):
that's what you're supposed to do,so to be victorious, and that if
you give and pour out and I'lltell you what, I'm gonna leave it
with this one uh De Demonomy twentyeight one through the fourteenth verse is the
straight blessing. That's the that's theblessing right there. That's the victorious because
he said, you do this, you do that, you do this,

(46:29):
you know I give you know,I'll make you the lender and not the
borrower. You'll be the head andnot to tell you be above and not
you know, believe so you knowthat's where your victory comes from. And
at the end it says, ifyou uh um, serve me and only
me and no one else, thevictory comes from the commandments. The victory

(46:52):
comes from serving God and only him, you know. So that's you know,
that's what we see because everything youknow, when I pray, I
say, you know, Lord, you are and you know and you gotta
be you know, he says, make your conversation a right. So when
I come to God, I haveto say, you know, Lord,
you are the center of everything thatI do. Now hear me, that

(47:16):
is holy inacceptable in your sight, because everything that you do, he ain't
it, you know. But that'swhere the victory comes from when you know
how to tap in. You know, when you know how to tap in.
You know, one of the stepsthat I had was, you know,
when we draw near to the throneof race, that's where your power

(47:39):
is. That's where your victory is. When you when you can come before
the Lord, but only before thethrone of brace with all this mess you
got on you and let him burnit up in the unquitchable fire. That's
where your victory is. At thethrone, That's where your victory is.

(48:00):
You know. So you know Victoria'sliving is possible. You know, I
may say some things and i'd betransparent because I just that's just sometimehow I
feel. You know, I'm human, you know what I'm saying. I
ain't holier than dial you know,I'm that dude. You know, man,
I feel this way today, Youknow I feel this way you know.

(48:21):
And I'm so grateful that he isa guy that is slow and slow
to anger and long suffering, somuch patient with me because he knows,
he knows me better than I knowmyself, and he gives me grace and
mercy because I know he'd be likethis dude here is just tripping the day,

(48:43):
you know. But that's how wefeel. I mean, none of
us are perfect, none of us, but we want to be victorious in
this walk. You know. Ifif I can sit back and tell you,
you know, the trials and triplationsthat I dealt with with alcoholism and
drugs and robbing and stilling, andhe pulled me up out of that to
where I am right now. Iwas that was a victory within itself that

(49:06):
I know he fought for me.Man. I mean, I couldn't have
did that by myself. I couldn'thave. But I heard what the spirit
of the Lord said when that justsaid to me, mister Hagans, are
you sure you don't need any help? And I heard Spirit of the Lord,
and I told that just yes,I do, and that would change

(49:28):
my life. That was That's whatwas the victory started right there. That's
what the victory started right there andI hadn't even looked back. And I'm
saying that to the audience to letyou know that this victory Levin is possible.
It can it can be for you. You know, we're fighting the
battle to day. That's just I'mpresident. This battle to day is just

(49:51):
crazy. You know. I waslooking and on Facebook and I can't remember
what city it was, but theydid a replica of the demon that was
supposed to be a revelation and Isaw that and I was like, here
we go, here we go.It's been it's it's it's happening. It's

(50:15):
happening. And and and we haveChristians that see this, and we like,
Lord is happening those who have anear to let them here with the
spirit of the Lord is saying,he is opening up our Satans. He
liked this. Here, I'm justgonna I'm just gonna kick it to you
like this. I'm gonna show itto you for real now. Yeah,

(50:37):
And we as Christians are looking howcan we have a victorious life? And
I ain't talking about just stuff right, I'm talking about you. Lord.
Lord. You said standing on yourword, and that's also what you when
you were saying, come boldly beforethe throne of Grace, because Satan isn't
giving it to us in drops. You know, he coming bold, he

(51:00):
come in raw. But as Christians, we always want to play pattycake with
him. You know it's the wordsays, come boldly before the throne of
Grace. So I say give itto the devil like he giving it to
you. You know, I'm nottrying to play pity pad with him.
I am the child of God.I am a daughter of God. I

(51:21):
know who I am, and Istand on who I am because I know
whose I am. And we haveso many things going on, and we're
gonna get ready to close. SoI want to close with this thought.
Revelation for eleven says thou are worthy, o Lord, to receive glory and
honor and power, for thou hastcreated all things, and for thy pleasure

(51:44):
they are and word created. Iwant to leave you with this thought.
God did not create you to makesomeone else happy. He created you to
experience happiness for yourself, and inthat happiness he finds joy. So going
back and going back to John tenand tells us Christ came that we might

(52:05):
have life more abundantly because that isa choice, and I just want to
encourage you to make that choice andmake that choice clear, make that choice
very clear. That through Christ's abundantlife, Victoria's life is possible. We
are supposed to live a life ofpurpose and a life of enjoyment, and

(52:27):
to do that we have to takethe necessary steps to make that possible.
So I just want to encourage you, and I thank you all for listening.
I know Bruce's gonna have some thingsto say, so I'm gonna just
quiet down in a minute, youknow, But I just want to encourage
you that, and I want tojust open your minds and let you know
if no one has ever told youbefore, God loves you and it brings

(52:50):
him pleasure to bless you. SoVictoria's living is not only what He wants
you to do, it's what youhave a right to experience. Love,
y'all, thank you for your timetoday. I'm gonna turn it over to
Bruce. Why yes say something?Okay, Yeah, that was that was

(53:16):
great, And I just want tofinish this off. Isaiah fifty four in
the seventeenth verse, no weapon formsagainst you shall prosper, and you will
refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servant of
the Lord, and this is theirvindication from declares the Lord. But you

(53:38):
know what, I just want toshare something with you the verse before that,
because God said, see, itis I who created the blacksmith who
fans the colds into the flame. So he's the one who made. He's
the one who made, the onewho made the weapon. So he can

(54:00):
never you can never get to handlebecause no weapon formed a geinst you.
So prospero that victory is yours throughHim through Isaiah. Amen. Right.
So with that being said, I'mgonna you know, I just want to
thank you for letting the Lord useyou on how he did and if you've

(54:23):
got something that you need to closeout with, by all means, I
am done. I'm full. Youknow, the words came forth. Thank
you Jesus, Thank you everybody forlistening to the hour Glass. This has

I'm just gonna ask you, guys, please send us something and share the
our glass with anyone that you feelmight be blessed. Why this podcast about
this ministry. If you have anythinglike prayer, requests, testimonies, anything,

word go forth out to your people. In the name of Jesus Father,
