Hi! I’m Gail Nobles at the InkPost. I see a lot of news stories making the headlines. But I have a story that really needs to go out today and quickly.

We need to take that verse from the Bible into consideration.

I heard a story told once about a man that was in a boat on the water. It was a beautiful sun shinny day. The man lifted his hands up towards the sky and lightning came and struck him. There was not one dark cloud in the sky. I don’t know if the man had been cursing or swearing. But when I heard the story, I thought it to be the most peculiar story that I had ever heard. However, the story does remind me that we do need to be careful in what we say and in what we do beneath heaven. I find the word of the Lord to be true. And it’s written in the news everyday. The things that happen; the things that we see are found in the scriptures.

So when you go on your way, try not to curse and try to swear. We should be careful in what we do and what we say. Remember the story of the man struck by lightning. Remember that heaven is God’s throne and that earth is his footstool.
