Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, what's happening people? Welcome back to the Internet Wrestling Podcast,
the final show of the Internet Wrestling Podcast. Before we
get into any wrestling headlines or talk about the World
Team Trials coming up, let's dig into why this is
the final show. This is the final show because we
are creating our own platform. If you do not follow
(00:23):
us or haven't seen it as of yet, we will
be moving to our own platform called the Quad Pod,
illustriously named by Kevin clanch Got to give that man
all the credit in the world for to give you
a little peek behind the curtain. We had a document
of all the different stupid names that we were attempting
to throw at this and Kevin comes into the meeting
(00:46):
and says, guys, I know we haven't put any of
these things in here. He's like, I've only been thinking
of really stupid names. But I gave it thirty seconds
of serious thought and has anybody said that we should
call it the quad Pod? And immediately all the names
just like went out the went out the door, and
it was just like, why were we even thinking of
(01:07):
anything else?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
It was so on the nose. I was like, maybe
it's too like solid I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
For I'll tell you this. Everyone that that I have
spoken to loves it. They there, they said, it's it's
on point. It works. There's obviously four of us. Quad
Pod is is the the stand up of all stand ups.
If you ask me, I love a good quad Pod
and out Nie Slide if you need to as well.
(01:36):
But that's where we are moving. You guys can follow
us on Instagram, Twitter, and you can also subscribe on YouTube.
It's quad Pod Wrestling on all of those things, so
excuse me, quad pod Wrestle on Twitter because the quad
Pod Wrestling is too long, But on Instagram it is
quad Pod Wrestling, and then on YouTube it is also
(01:59):
the quadpot but quad Pod Wrestling you can find under there.
But everything is going to be linked below, so make
sure you go and like it, share all the content
that's going to be there. Make sure you're subscribing. The
first episode will be after World Team Trials. All episodes
will most likely at least we're gonna try to have
them come out on Wednesday, So on your Wednesday morning commute,
(02:23):
you can listen to the podcast, whether it's on YouTube
or Apple or Spotify so or any other podcast platform
that you listen to your podcast, so all of the
different platforms you will be able to get our stupidity
and breakdowns and recaps and previews and anything else. We'll
have coach interviews, athlete interviews. Will also be making fun
(02:47):
of each other like we always do. And we have
to certainly give a shout out to our friends at
Poseidon Strength, who are going to be our sponsor for
the show as well. So really looking forward to that.
This is going to be the final Internet Wrestling podcast episode.
But then the same really good looking faces will just
be under a new name come next week.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
And and Kevin and.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Kevin, I'm gonna get a filter that makes me a
look like Brad Fit from nineteen eighty two.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
What's in the Box.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
So we're really excited about it, though, like I said,
it took us. It took us a little bit. Yeah,
it took us a little bit to get everything kind
of under control. And obviously it's been a while since
we've recorded together too, mostly because we needed a little
bit of a break. I think you guys more so
than me, because you guys all have kids and wives.
I have a girlfriend right now and children, So you
(03:42):
guys needed to, you know, all those all those points
that you bank during the year, you had to kind
of give them back and be like, Okay, now it's
time to be dads and husbands. So the break break
time is I guess kind of over as we're going
to get back to action. So appreciate the fact that
you guys are now well rested and you're coming back
back to the pod.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
I don't know if i'd say well rested.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yeah, probably not, because, like I said, you had to
go spend time with the family, so you probably even
more tired than you normally are.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
So the thirties are just a state of malaise.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Wait till you get to the forties.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I'm almost there. Almost there.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Yeah, a couple more years, I'll be there. Austin is
the young buck of the crew.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
He's the younger.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
I feel old when I talk to you guys. I
should say it experience. I feel experience with you guys.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yeah, He's like, you know, this is my visit to
the old folks home. Make sure you guys have taken
your naps and eaten your pudding.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
So uh, I love putting.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I hope they have more peaches.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I could eat a peach for days.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Scream, Oh boy man, this is this is getting off
the rails, and just like that, let's get kind of
back on topic, I guess, or wrestling topic. And obviously
it's the thing that everyone is talking about, and it's
the Kyle Snyder situation. And I'm sure everybody kind of
has the details, but if you don't, Kyle Snyder was
(05:01):
arrested in a prostitution sting and it is not good
for wrestling. It's not good for Kyle doesn't look good
at all, and it sucks to see.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Right.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
He's probably the last person that I think any of
us really truly suspected would ever be in any sort
of trouble, but it happens, right. I think there were
murmurs of everything that was happening behind the scenes before
the articles and things like that came out. People were
doing searches. I know we were doing searches trying to
kind of run some things down as the rumors were
(05:34):
circulating before the article came out on Monday, and then
everything kind of you know, I guess that the ship
hit the fan essentially. So with that, like I kind
of want to turn it over to you guys. What
were your initial thoughts when you heard about it. Obviously
it's not It's pretty unbelievable. And even in our group,
none of us were really believing it because all the
(05:55):
searching we were kind of coming back with nothing at
one point. But there's a you know, a path forward
through everything. And but he broke a law. Right, not
gonna act like anyone died in this situation. Regardless how
you feel about it. He broke a law. There's consequences
to all these things, and that's just kind of how
it is. But Robbie, what were your your first thoughts
(06:18):
when these rumors started circulating, and you know, how did
maybe not how did you find out? Because we don't
want to put any of our sources out there, but like,
what was it? What were the initial thoughts?
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Really surprised just it does? It seemed very out of
character for Kyle. I mean, I've known him since he
was in high school. You know, he's rustled the club
that the coach at in.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Maryland, and it's it was very surprising.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
And like I said, out of everybody you know who's
on Team USA, people we think of within the wrestling community,
not one that would that would jump to the front
of mind to be arrested at all, but let alone
rested for you know, crime of moral turpitude as it
as it were. I don't it's I mean, disappointment is
kind of what comes to my mind as a husband,
(07:13):
as a father. You know, I always feel like those
are your your two most important things, and you know,
having a wife having kids at home, to me, that
that's I mean, that's a bigger hit on that side
than it is on the wrestling side.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
So that's that was my biggest.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
Takeaway is you know, I hurt for them more than
than him. I mean, he's got to deal with what
he's got to deal with, but they, they are going
to be dealing with a lot more than him for sure.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, you guys are you know, like I said, you
guys are all husband's fathers, So you know, honestly, outside
of wrestling, you can speak to it from that angle
right where you have something else that is bigger than you,
which is your families that you obviously think of first
in any of these types of situations.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
I I threw this out on Blood Around yesterday. We
recorded a podcast check it out. Alex Kramer's on it
from Central Michigan, Fire Up Chips and wearing my hat.
And also I wanted to shout out Tony here from
uh D one Wrestling. Here we go rock, I.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
Shout Tony out if he actually send me my damn shirt.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Oh he didn't send you a shirt and a mug.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
That's what I get, Tony. We're gonna fight Kenny.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
But uh, I don't know, I'm not. I'm not the
clutching my pearls guy right like I've I know, I
literally have friends who have been in similar situations to
what Kyle was going through right now. And maybe that
speaks to me and the company I keep. Maybe it's
just more more uh you know, relative to you know,
(08:45):
human life than we realize. But what I will say
is like, yeah, I mean this is this is terrible
for them. It's really really terrible for his family. I
really am not going to discount that more than anything else.
That is the number one most important piece, and it's
it stinks. It happened a Friday before there's day weekend.
That doesn't not suck, you know what I mean, No
pun intended. And I don't know, did you ever see
(09:08):
the the It's like comedians and coffees with cars, and
it was like norm MacDonald driving around with UH with
Jerry Seinfeld and they were talking about not that I'm
comparing the two, but like, I think it was Patton
Oswell that said, like the hypocrisy about Bill Cosby's was
the worst part. He was like, I don't know about
the hypocrisy being the worst part. I think there were
(09:31):
other worst parts to that. Yeah, but ultimately, like that
doesn't not impact this, yeah, you know, and like it
is what it is. It probably shouldn't in all, you know, whatever,
but like it does, like he's proposed to be a
very different thing than it is. I propose to be
much worse. And yet I'm I'm I don't want to
(09:53):
say I'm anti prostitute because I'm not like gonna take
you know, the lives and money away from those working,
hard working ladies. And then I guess, but I will
say in pro fidelity, and I think that that's an
important piece that we need to highlight that was very
much broken in this situation. It really reminded me this
is Wrestling's Tiger Woods, because Tiger Woods was one thing
(10:14):
before that. One morning when I woke up, I remember
being at a seven to eleven and picking up a
coffee going into to work essentially and hearing the story
and being like that sounds problem. Yeah, it wasn't, you know.
And so we were all introduced to a new Tiger
Woods that we got to enjoy for a little bit.
It wasn't the same, but we eventually did get the
(10:36):
redemption story, which was fun for Tiger, and I certainly
hope for that for Kyle at some point too, right,
I mean, we're I'm sure going to talk about what
may or may not happen in the near future here,
but in general, Kyle's provided great wrestling moments on the
mat that have been super fun, and I hope that
he gets to do that again in the future. But
(10:58):
in the short term, man, he's losing a lot. He's
losing a lot personally, professionally. It's gonna hit hard.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
So yeah, yeah, I mean, I agree both of you guys. Yeah.
Mother's Day weekend.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
I was actually away with my wife and kids and
someone's texting me like, hey, did you hear about Kyle Snyder?
And I was like no, and they you know, we
were going back and forth and I don't believe you
shut up, and yeah.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
Then you know, we get this.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
There's screenshots going back and forth of some other Kyle
Snyder from Illinois, and it's like, oh, it's.
Speaker 5 (11:29):
A different call Snyder, definitely not our Kyle Snyder.
Speaker 6 (11:32):
And then it turns out it actually was, and you
know it's when it gets on TMZ and you know
a lot of these big outlets reporting it. It does
suck for the sport, you know, because you know, we
were last time we were in the major media news
it was NCAA's it was Hendrick h Wyatt Hendrickson all
over Fox News, CNN and you know.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
All the big shows.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
That's kind of highlight on wrestling, whether you disagree with
the political things or not. But you know, we had
a good positive momentum spin going for us, you know,
highlighting our spot a little bit. And now it's a
kind of complete opposite of that. And you know, and
people are worried it's Kyle gonna wrestle a final X
and you know, I think that's.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
That's a triple X.
Speaker 6 (12:09):
This shouldn't it shouldn't be his uh should that shouldn't
be his first thought right now. His first thoughts should
be getting his family right, you know, getting the kids
and everything situated. And it would be a shame to
if he doesn't wrestle anymore past this because of this.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
You know, he's gonna be remembered for this, and you know.
Speaker 6 (12:24):
He's one of the top rushlers ever in America and
for this to happen and really kind of tarnish his legacy.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
Whether you agree with it or not, it's off the
mat stuff.
Speaker 6 (12:33):
I get it, but you know some people are going
to attach that to this, and it's a damn shame
I think.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, And I will say he's been he's been given
a lot of grace and support. That is that is
certainly something that I have seen, is that he's been
given a lot of grace and support. And it's pretty
crazy where Pat Downey said some things where I was like, man,
it makes you think, right, like Pat.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Was crucisers agree that was agreeing with Pat Downick.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah, I mean like, I don't you know, I there
were just certain things where you're like, he is given
some grace in this situation right where Pat has certainly
had his pass and there's been other wrestlers that you know,
this is not the first wrestler that has been arrested
for doing anything right, but like there's been a lot
(13:21):
of grace that has been given in this situation, right, So,
and I'm not saying that's right. I'm not saying it's wrong.
I'm just saying that the things that have been portrayed
this this does, as Alston said, it can certainly tarnish
his legacy for good, depending on certainly what happens.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Well, a disappointment is a matter of expectations at some level, too, right,
And like you're not going to be disappointed in I
don't know. I don't want to throw a name out
there because I don't want to throw anybody under the
boss or whatever. But like when something happens to somebody
who's an habitual line stepper, right, we'll use that term
alogy that it seems to be pretty.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Which, honestly, in this sense, like Pat Downey has certainly
been in a habitual linestep in his own right.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
If you had had this story with Pat Downey, I
would have been like, Pat's just getting it in, man,
let him. Do you like fair or unfair? I don't
really care. But it's a matter of expectations, and I
think we all kind of expected more out of this guy.
And that's that's kind of why, you know, when you
when you're in that spotlight, you you get to have
(14:29):
the camps that sell out, you get to have the shoes,
and you get to have all these extra things on
top of you know, the family and support and everything else.
But when this happens to you, you don't get to
do that, right, Like that's why Pat Downey doesn't have
a USA Wrestling rudish shoe that was like about to
drop and actually looks pretty sick and like, I mean,
(14:49):
I don't know what they're going to do with that now.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Not on the site tell you that much. So yeah,
I mean it, there's a lot of TVD. He has
been suspended for how long, we don't really know. I
believe there his court cases is the nineteenth, so what
is that. Yeah, so we'll figure out kind of what
(15:11):
what happens in that. Regard the article coming out, I
will say this and then we can kind of move
to what happens at ninety seven. The article coming out
was like, you know, man, that really sucks. The video
coming out later was it just like made it a
million times worse. And that was like, you know, as
(15:34):
tough as it was to read the headline, it was
way rougher to see it right, Like, there's something to
be said about being able to actually see the situation
unfold and how it went and then hear the recording
of the conversation with the cop and everything else. So,
you know, I I hope that this isn't the last
(15:56):
that we see of Kyle Snyder. I hope that he
is able to bounce back from this as a as
a person more so before as a wrestler, Like, yeah,
he's given a lot to the sport, but he wouldn't
have done that if he wasn't the kind of person
that he was. However, this is a ding to his character.
(16:16):
It just is. So that is something that I think
will certainly follow him, and it's something that he will
have to speak to whenever he is back in front
of cameras and microphones and stuff like that. He did
put out a statement which you can agree with or
not agree with, or feel however you want about it.
You can feel everyone about the entire situation. You can
(16:38):
support him, you can think that this is the worst
thing ever, and you don't want, you know, maybe your
kids to go to his camps or wear his shoes
or anything else like that. That is your prerogative certainly,
but the situation happened, he has to handle it. He
has to reconcile his actions. That's, you know, something that's
across he has to bear now. Now on the rest
(17:00):
sling side of things, this weekend we have the World
Team Trials. Kyle Schneider has already qualified for Final X
as he went through the US Open. And I mean surprisingly,
so he went through the US Open. He didn't have to.
He certainly probably could have just accepted it, right, but
he did end up wrestling, and you know, he's qualified
(17:23):
for Final X. Now, and let's speak specifically to ninety seven.
What happens if you know, with him being suspended currently,
we would need not just one new wrestler, but two.
And right now there are seven guys that are in
that are that are in these preseeds and instead of
(17:45):
wrestling the finals, I think, Robbie, you can speak to this. Robbie,
You've got probably more infro than me. We might see
these two whoever make the finals wrestle at Final X.
What kind of info do you have their, Robbie.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
So I talked to Jay Ilo today. He faced Kyle
the finals of the US Open. So the winner went
to Final X. When all this first came out, there was,
you know, kind of some back and forth of you know,
what will happen with Final X. Is he going to
be suspended from it? Is he going to bow out?
And I think a lot of that will be determined
on Monday, just kind of based on how things go.
(18:19):
But from what it sounds like they're not moving Jay
into Final X, so as of now, Kyle still has
a spot, So it sounds like they're going to use
the finals of the World Team Trials as a placeholder
right now. So those two finalists will be tentative Final
(18:40):
X participants and that will kind of be dependent on
whether Kyle is able to wrestle or not, whether that's
the actual Final X matchup, or whether they'll have to
wrestle the final for someone to go to Final X.
So it's it's kind of a weird situation. I mean,
it sucks for those guys because now they're in limbo,
don't really know what it's going to look like because
(19:02):
we're we're less than a month out from Final X.
So if they do have to wrestle another match somewhere
in there, that's going to put them in a weird
spot with the timing and dissent and all that stuff.
So there's a lot to keep in mind with that,
but it certainly puts ninety seven in flux. And you know,
we go from having a multiple time World champ and
(19:23):
Olympic champ who is likely going to be the World
team up to it very much being up in the air,
and we're going to have somebody, you know, potentially could
have somebody who is not experienced on the World team stage.
And yeah, we go from there.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
This is James Green and Nick Marrable all over again,
but without a trade r.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Yeah, without it without a treadmill. Yeah that was.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Maybe Kyle should have got on the treadmill. Maybe that
was a bit our choice.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Yeah, that would have been to run it off.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Need to get a good run.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah, So with ninety seven being in flux, and you
know the thing is is we don't have fargo in
between now in Final X for them to wrestle at.
So from my vantage point, it'll probably go down at
(20:21):
the OTC, is my guess. You know, they they'll probably
do it at the OTC and the OTC gym like
they're like they did what other match was there there
was an OTC match that happened. There was a match
that happened at the OTC, not so much the I
mean I can remember the one between Dake and and Ringer.
That one happened here in Texas out of high school,
(20:43):
which was sold out, by the way, which was wild.
There were so many people in that gym. It was
so crazy.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
I was at a pool watching that on my phone.
I was like, hold on, I gotta get out. I
got my alarms going off.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Yeah, that was it was a really it was a
really cool time though, even though it was just one match,
you know. And then obviously Yanni and Zane, which they
wrestled in in my college alma mater gym at Wilkes University,
so that was really cool to have that go down
there too. So there's been a number of times where
we've had these one off matches in certain places, but
I feel like, you know, obviously all of those were
(21:16):
directly for the spot, so it was given the tickets
and the fanfare and everything else. This would essentially just
be the US Open Final going down at the OTC
most likely, So we'll see what happens. But at ninety seven,
let's let's get into who these guys are. Ethan Laird
(21:38):
seven seed, Christian Knopp is the six, Gavin Hoffman the five,
Eric Schultz is the four, Justin Rodermacher is the three.
Jlo Is the two, and then Hayden Zilmer down back
down at ninety seven after being up at one twenty five.
Pump for him as the as the one seed. So let's,
(21:59):
like I said, let's let's talk about it a little bit.
Obviously we probably know where Robbie lies on this, So Robbie,
give us your thoughts on Jay's chances of making it
two final X.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
I mean, I feel good about it.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
He's he's continually progressed and gotten better every time he's
gone out. His training has been great in Philly. It's
been really good for him up there to get a
new new new coaching staff, new styles, new exposure.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Yeah, how is that going? I mean the interrupt but
like he's he's there with you know, a brand new
head coach at Penn and then obviously Brandon Slay is
gone from Penn RTC as well. How are how's the training?
How are things going there?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
I haven't hit on too much about that.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
It was just kind of a brief conversation today after
he got to work out in but I mean the
last time I talked to him before all the changes
went down with Sleigh. I mean, he loves it up
there and it's been really good for him. I mean,
Jay's it's a cool story. He wasn't the greatest high
school wrestler in Virginia. Well in a big recruit, went
to Uba, got better every year, got screwed.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Out of.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
All American status amy not getting back points against Maxtine.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
I will forever die on that hill.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
And you know, he's gotten better every time he's gone out,
and he's had good results in international tournaments. He's figuring out
freestyle and getting better every time. I think Zilmer probably
has the one seed because he has some better credentials
at one twenty five, but coming down he's going to
be a big ass ninety seven. So yeah, and he's
(23:33):
a lumberjack, so there's that too.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Yeah, Yeah, that's gonna be fun Ziomer.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
It needs to be referenced though, Like you know, Zilber
was a World team member at heavyweight, Yeah, like not
that long ago. And if you think about the list
of heavyweights that we had, like it's wild, Like we
talked about him yesterday and it's like, okay, so you
got to consider Quizz. He'd beat Whizz to get this
spot right and Gwiz was a two time World Bronze medalist.
(24:02):
I think at the time. Obviously I don't think that
Gable was competing that year for whatever reason.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
But because he probably might have been the football the.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah, yeah, something along those lines. I think Mason Paris
was just too young, you had, I mean, you know,
but point being like he was, he was in the
mix with like a serious list of.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
Contenders that we lost to Gwizz that year, he might
have that sounds yeah, Semini, I think is what it was.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
So like, there's just we've had a litany of like
ultra badasses at heavyweight and he made it. He was
the guy, so he's he's not to be messed with,
and him dropping down is probably his better weight, to
be honest anyway. But like you know, when you're stuck
behind a Kyle Sneider who's like six years younger than you,
(24:55):
you're like, whatever, I guess I'll just go up.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
I guess see what happened certainly about her at once.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah, so yeah, he's I think he's fairly the one seed.
And I'm a big Jilow fan too.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
But.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
That's you know, Ethan Laird. I will throw out there
was like dark Horse, like that guy's that guy's always
been a monster wherever he's been. True.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
Yeah, not a lot of depth experience wise here at
this weight. So there's a lot of younger faces.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
Yeah, I'm just curious how Ziemer's weight cut holds up
this first time.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Is right, gotta yeah, it's gotta be a rough cut.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
And not only that, he was he was eating a ton.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
He will get up to like heavyweight like it was.
I think he's eating like a regular human being.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Now, yeah, I think it was. It was kind of
like like Dake's first go round at eighty six where
he was eating everything in sight to be that big.
But the thing is is like I wonder if I
wonder if the descent to ninety seven was a was
a thing originally, Like obviously like he can.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Cut out hard to be a last minute decision.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, but if you're if you're kind of a if
you're kind of a tweener, right and and you and
this this happens right where you're like ninety seven, I
can I can get there, Like, It's not like I
can focus and get there and win at ninety seven
and not feel my best right Like, as we said,
there's not a lot of depth at ninety seven. You
(26:32):
know the guy, I guess, I mean, let's call what
is his biggest test would be I l O and
they would probably they're mostly gonna hit in the finals, right,
like not to jump over any of these guys justin
Ronimacher obviously obviously not him. He's he's pretty good in
his own right.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
And he looks just like Matty Singleton.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
It's creepy he does. We've we figured that out during
the year too, and we saw a picture of him.
He's a he's a much bigger Matty Singleton though, but
in the face, yes, I can see it. But Zilmer
being you know, the guy he is being a world
teamer at one twenty five before, I feel like it
can be one of those you know what, like I'm
I'm within striking distance. If I start now, I can
(27:12):
make ninety seven and feel like shit a little bit,
but be big enough and strong enough to compete against
you know, uh A let's called what it is a
pair a paired downfield. I mean, none of these weight
classes have a tremendous amount of guys in them. Some
have more depth, but not a lot of wrestlers in them.
(27:36):
So I I mean, maybe it was a conscious effort
that he had already made prior to the Snyder news,
but it is certainly interesting to have him back down
at ninety seven and thinking that this is this is
where he wants to be back at And it probably
is just a I'm really tired of eating, you know,
(27:58):
the whole cow to make to be up at one twenty.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Five, especially with beef prices right now, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Right outrageous.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
So give me give me Zilmer. I I know no
shot at Illo, but give me Zilmer just based on
the fact that he's kind of been here before and
he's been on the team. He does have the accolades
to do it. But I do like what we're seeing
out out of a yellow and how he's progressed. Any
other any other picks you guys want to throw out Austin,
(28:30):
you want to throw it at a pick here at
ninety seven.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Yeah, I do like Ilo.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
I've heard really good things about him coming from the
pen and Drexel people. I just that way cut for
Zilmer and he wrestled. He wrestled won twenty five what
three weeks ago at the US Open. You know obviously
he had wag won twenty five kilograms, but yeah, yeah,
like how big was he? And you know it's it's
a different training when you're starting to cut weight.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
You know, your body.
Speaker 6 (28:53):
Doesn't feel like it usually does and may have an
effect on him.
Speaker 5 (28:57):
So yeah, I like it. I like a yellow.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Yeah, Zimmer was in there. He lost to he lost
to Thomas, He lost to de Mitz Thomas, who's the
one seed at one twenty five. But let's go all
the way back down to sixty five kilos and here,
like I said, not a lot of guys, but an
incredible amount of depth. Jesse Mendez, the one seed, brock Hardy,
(29:27):
the two, Bo Bassett, the three, Aiden Valencia, the four
Real Woods, the five, Bo Bartlett six, Seth Gross seven,
who's up from sixty one. I think Mendes is also
up sixty one too, or no Bo bats Bo Bassett
is up from sixty one to sixty five. Marcus Blaze
is the eight and Carter Young is the nine and
(29:51):
for for a moment Nick Lee was in here and
then he was like, you know what, the vests and
these coaching pants, they it real nice. I don't want
to trade them back in for a single it. So
we're down in it. We're down to nine guys, but
I feel like it's still a pretty open field where
it's anyone. It's really anyone's game in this entire bracket.
(30:16):
I would not be surprised to see really too much
of anyone come out of this bracket and make it
to Final X. To be completely honest, what are your
guys thoughts here at sixty five? Kevin go ahead, I.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Mean, Jesse Mendez, I don't. I don't. I'm surprised that
why isn't anyone just like yeah, that dude's like he's
done everything. He had a couple losses in like folks
now this year, but as soon as it was game time,
dude showed up mm hm. And I don't know, man,
I don't have any reason to think. I know, I've
said this here, I've said it before and I'm gonna
(30:49):
say it again. But like when I was talking to
Jay Jaggers before this season started, and I was like, Hey,
who's gonna be like, your like breakout guy for the season,
and he said Jesse Mendez and I was like, well,
he won the national before, how was it going to
be your breakout guy? And he was like, trust me, dude,
and then he went and did it again. So I
don't know. I've seen him beat Joey McKenna. I know
(31:13):
he lost to him the last couple of times in freestyle,
but you can't take that out of my eyes. So
I saw it, and I know he's really good, and
I just trust him to be able to train and
focus and be ready to go. I'm done doubting him
until somebody shows me differently. There's nobody else in this
bracket that I'm like, yeah, that guy's going to beat him.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Quick correction. It was Gross and Blaze that were both
down at sixty one and now up a sixty five.
Bo Bartlett was up a sixty five for the open.
But yeah, Gross ended up beating Blaze to make the
final and then lost the Forest, and then Mendez lost
to Joey McKenna in the finals.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
And I do want to say too, I think Seth
Gross had a really good post just about you know
he I've lost to high school guys a couple of
different times, and uh, they're they're they're here and they're
ready and if you like, they're great to have us
and kick us in the butt more or less to
get us ready to go as as some of these
(32:10):
older guys. And I'm not going anywhere. I'll be back
and I'll be ready to go and I'm excited. So
I pretty we appreciated that as a fellow old guy.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
So I've been super impressed with with Seth Gross kind
of in general his presence on social media, like how
open he is about his processes and everything that's going on,
you know, being open about technique and looking for feedback
and like engaging a conversation about that. It's really cool
to see and just kind of seems reinvigorated and and
(32:39):
excited to be back in the mix of things.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
So it's it's fun to watch him compete.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Again, I think you got to lean towards Mendez.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Just with what we've seen out of him.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
But this, you know, like Ryan said, this, this is
a pretty wide open bracket because everybody, you know, everybody
in the Preseeds, they can all put up crazy points.
And no, don't think anybody over anyone else in his
bracket would would shock me. They wouldn't be like, oh shit,
I didn't expect that, Like, yeah, I could see that.
(33:10):
So I think finding the other finalists is going to be.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
Gonna be a challenge.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
And I mean, don't sleep on the young guys in
this either.
Speaker 5 (33:18):
M Yeah, I like these first round matchups.
Speaker 6 (33:22):
You got Gross at seven and Hardy at two, Like
that's a lot of points on the board. Had some
fun scrambling there, and Bow verus bo young Buck versus
nitny lyon guy. That's, you know, very solid and interesting
to see how those different styles kind of kind of
bashed there. And then four and five Valuncian Woods. I
mean again another old guy versus younger guy. It's you
(33:45):
kind of get this whole gambit of old guys versus
high school guys for some of these and yeah, rarely
really diverse kind of age bracket. And it's gonna be
it's gonna be fun, this whole thing. But yeah, you
got you gotta lead Mendez a little bit too. Just
like Kevin said, he's a gamer and he's just freaking
good man.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
He's a really good wrestler.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Yeah, it's as much as I want to lean into that.
I've I think I've kind of gotten into the trance
of how good Seth Gross is. And I know he's
up four kilos from being at sixty one, but he
this isn't the first time he's been at sixty five, right,
And the last time that he was up at sixty
(34:26):
five he had, I believe, jumped from like fifty seven.
He was he was like a lot lower, or at
least wrestling a little bit lighter. Maybe not fifty seven,
maybe it was from sixty one to sixty five, but
he was a lot lighter going like jumping to sixty
five like it was a big deal. I remember talking
to to Rider and Bono at the Open a couple
(34:46):
of years ago where they're like, yeah, like he's still
getting his body ready for sixty five, and it was
just like a very different jump. So I'm probably wrong
about him being at fifty seven. I don't know why
I would think that. I'm probably thinking of college college
Seth Gross being the skinny guy, but him being at
sixty five now, I feel like his body type actually
(35:08):
fits with the rest of these guys. I mean, him,
Marcus Blaze, rock Hardy, those guys all have the same
body style, very long, lanky guys that posed different styles
of threats, specifically Seth Gross because he is the most
unorthodox guy in this entire bracket.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah, not not that. I think I was gonna comment
on weight class shifts and it was just about Olympic
gears and stuff like that. Yeah, I remember he you know,
he he was losing to Pantalio and then eventually tacked
him because Pantalio was cutting his balls off to make
sixty five. And yeah, you know, Seth was up a
(35:50):
little bit, no excuses whatsoever. He did a great job
and he won the match, which is the goal of
every match.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
So yeah, I was I was matt side for that match.
I'll stand there watching it and Pintelio was a takedown away.
It was a to zero and Gross got the takedown,
trapped arm gut and just rolled him up and tecked
him and it was over and it was like, what
the hell just happened? So Gross is a gamer man,
and it's that's what he brings to the game, along
(36:18):
with that unorthodox style. And you know, you saw how
he wrestled in on that flow card against Austin, right,
and he just like you're in on my legs. It's okay,
I'm still going to score here, right. He's just always
been that unorthodox type of guy, so I feel like
he just poses such a different style of threat being
(36:39):
in here. So my pick is going to be Seth Gross.
I mean, hell, maybe he loses first round, maybe he
ends up winning the tournament, but I have a lot
of faith in Seth Gross to do very well here,
just based on how he's looked recently. You know, he
made the finals of the of the Open and and
(37:00):
it up, you know, coming up short. But still he's
certainly a gamer. What other picks you guys making? You
guys all going Mendez.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
Yep, Yeah, That's what I'm taking.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
I think, so a bunch of front runners.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
I like the way this one's deep, but it's not
deep as in, like who the winner is probably going
to be, you know, like I think seventies deep too.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Seventies wild. I'm anxious talk about seventy.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
I think there's probably more of a case you can
make for seventy having somebody else win in the one
seed than ten sixty five.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
That concur Yeah, all right, let's go to seventy. James Green,
the one, PJ.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Takes Caleb Henson, Look, this is I'm conflicted.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
He's conflicted. He's got to donate in here too.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
Andy Parker, Yeah, Parkers.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
The three I might set this one out.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Will we'll, we'll look is the four, Bryce Sandonian, the five,
Ridge Love It, the six, Andrell Taylor seven, Caleb Henson eight,
and Brayton Lee nine, which I'm really happy to see
Braton Lee still in the mix and scrapping it up.
But this is this is certainly the uh, the the
big big uncle at the number one seed. You know,
(38:21):
I guess you'd call him unk unc James James Green,
unk Green at the top, Uncle greasy at the top,
and the rest of the children kind of coming in
and looking to take him out. And a couple of
these guys are guys that he trains with in in
uh Andrell Taylor and and Ridge love It at the
(38:43):
six and seven.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
And guys he used to train with, and.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Guys he used to train with right Bryce Handnian, So
like yeah, yeah, like it's it's a bunch of guys
that are very familiar with each other. And my hope
for James Green is that the James that shows up
is the guy that is attacking and not the guy
that is sitting back, because when he's attacking, he is
very hard to beat. And if you wrestle a guy
(39:11):
like PJ. Duke, for instance, young kid who doesn't seem
to be afraid of too much of anything. Yeah, but
when you wrestle PJ. Duke, like, you gotta be on
your shit. And if he comes out and he's attacking,
that that is the best James Green that you could
ever really see. So that is my hope, is that
(39:32):
Uncle Greasy comes out and he's firing on all cylinders
and he's ready to go. So I guess that's that's
kind of my Homer pick of wanting to see James
Green back at having a shot to claim the spot
at seventy. What are your guys thoughts?
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Can I just take Nebraska? Like I don't He's not
going to run into PJ. Duke because Andrel Taylor is
gonna beat him. I like, I don't know, man, I'm
I'm more excited to just see these Nebraska guys go
all out. I mean, ultimately, I think I'm going to
(40:10):
pick Yeah music. I don't know. I should have talked
to how brackets work a little bit better than this.
But ultimately, I don't know, it's gonna be really hard
(40:30):
for me to think that like Andrell Taylor or Ridge
Love It are going to be held up by by
any of these dudes, Like I thought, they're gonna have
to wrest each other. You know that. I look at that,
it look at it a little bit closer.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
Will Wan actually has the score points and in freestyle
he does that, which.
Speaker 4 (40:48):
Is yeah, I didn't know that that was possible for him.
And then lock we are.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Well because he beat ANDONI and I think the last
time they wrestled too right, Yeah, yeah, and so, which
which also blew my mind. And then I watched the
match and I was like, God, he's just he's just
he's he's a hypnotist. I don't know, I don't know.
I I think if I'm I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go.
(41:17):
And Carl Taylor, I just I've been so impressed with him.
We're talking about dudes who are stingy like that guy's
a just a monster and so incredibly talented. I just
want to see what he does on the mat and freestyle.
I think it's almost what's underrated about freestyle is how
(41:37):
easy Maybe not easy, Easy's not the right word. But
if you have the hips and you have the the
athleticism and the agility to kind of like catch somebody
just off balance with their head on the inside or
throw their head to the inside and then just kind
of make that quick hip turn and get a quick
like you can put up points real fast. And he's
(41:58):
certainly talented enough on his feet to get takedowns and
and you know, do what he needs to do from there.
I just I don't see him getting pushed out. I
don't see him doing anything that's going to get him
in too much trouble. It's it's the summer of Antrell.
That's what I'm going with.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
Like that that probably probably just gonna in that essence,
just say, Virginia Tech.
Speaker 4 (42:22):
I'm not betting against Caleb Benson ever. He scares me.
He's so he's so damn good.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
Do we get a ridge love it? Caleb Henson?
Speaker 4 (42:33):
I hope, so, I hope so. I mean, I have
a lot of comments on this week. Ian Parker looked
fantastic at the US Open. I wouldn't want to wrestle him.
He's very very strong and scary, not a huge fan
of his draw.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
That was wild though to see like to Iowa State
one thirty three pounders wrestling each other in the finals
seventy two.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
But I mean, I like Antrell. I'm interested to see
how he looks in freestyle again. I mean, he's got
the accolades, but we haven't seen it for a couple
of years, so I'm interested to see what he looks like.
I was not expecting Henson to wrestle this summer, so
it's a pleasant surprise to see him trying to make
a world team.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
And because he was banged up during the season.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
Yeah, and I think some things may change. Plans may
have changed a little bit with some transfers, so we'll
see what next year looks like. But I'm I'm I
was not expecting to see him this summer, so I'm.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
I like I said, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
I won't bet against Caleb Hinson, and I think I
would love to see him in the finals against.
Speaker 1 (43:48):
James Austin.
Speaker 5 (43:53):
The match I will work with the numbers. The match
that I really would want to see Isandonian love It.
Speaker 6 (43:59):
That would be retaining and yeah, mission, but yeah, I agree,
this one's hard. This one's really hard. I go back
and forth with Taylor Henson love it. They're all just
so damn good. Pardon me, just sticks with the old
fashioned James Green. I think the vet gets it done,
new hip and everything, So it's probably the right answer.
Speaker 5 (44:22):
I think it is, but there's just so much. Yeah,
he's just kind of been at that level. I question
did he get a hip replacement or did he just
have surgery in his hip.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
A new hip?
Speaker 1 (44:34):
I just I thought it was a new hip. I'm
not sure the extent of it. I don't remember.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
We need one of those.
Speaker 6 (44:38):
It's just crazy because my phone in law got one,
he's like seven years old, and James Green got one.
Speaker 1 (44:43):
James James's James. He had hip problems for a pretty
long time. Like it was it was like really messing
a lot of things up. And I've heard that you're yeah,
that year off where he was coaching and got the
hip surgery and everything else where, he truly thought he
was done. But then things start to feel good when
he was coaching, like pretty amazing. So it's it's cool
(45:04):
to see him back, and maybe that's maybe that's why
I'm like, man, I really want to see James Green
do very well, because I was. I was there when
he took bronze at Worlds in Vegas and he wrestled
Yazdannie and just got underhooked all over the matt and
the Semis and then came back and won bronze when
Ya's Donnie was a seventy kilogram guy. It was the
crazy thing. So you know, I'm I'm hopeful for James Green.
(45:29):
And my thought is that, you know, being that he's
the old guy, is he wants this shot to like
finish out on like a really strong, really strong level.
Obviously he'd have to wrestle Yanni again, and ron Yanni
has looked really, really good. Obviously he's sitting at Final
X now. But yeah, we'll certainly see. I'm I'm taking
(45:51):
James Green to come through this bracket, but I would
not be surprised to see PJ. Duke do very well
here and maybe shock some people or catch some guys
off guard.
Speaker 5 (46:06):
Yeah, I was gonna ask if for sleeping on PJ
Duke or not. I haven't.
Speaker 6 (46:11):
I mean, I mean, I haven't seen much of him,
just being on the younger, on the younger side of it.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
But yeah, he's there's a lot of talent in this
lineup though. Yeah, yeah, so it's it's hard to I.
Speaker 1 (46:22):
Don't think, yeah, I don't think we're sleeping on him.
I just think that it's he He is a young terror.
I will say that he is a He is a
absolute focused nightmare when he's out there on the mat.
And that's why I'm like, man, I I can see
him pulling some sort of I shouldn't say upset, but
(46:45):
he's the youngest guy in this bracket. Every every other
person in this bracket has gone through multiple college seasons,
if not being done with college, and he hasn't even
started it yet.
Speaker 2 (46:57):
Right, everyone in this bracket has been an All American or.
Speaker 1 (47:00):
Champion exactly, right. So that's the I think that's why
it may seem like, what an idiot, We're sleeping on
him a little bit because of that, But well, he
just like the just like Seth Borough said, like these youngsters,
they're they're there to they're they're there to take your
head off, and they there is no respect for you
(47:23):
being the old guy, like absolutely none. And PJ. Duke
is one of those guys at the at the helm
of all of it. So I would not be surprised
to see him take out, you know, one or two
of these guys, to be completely honest, seventy four. David
Carr gets the one, Quincy Monday gets the two, Jared
Jack gets the three, Caliendo four, Barrowclaw five, Peyton Hall six,
(47:49):
and Joey Blaze at seven.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
Man we go from a really deep weight to a
not very deep.
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Weight exactly, and and and not and mostly because it's
it's on on the freestyle side. It's not a deep way.
The folks out side you're like, shit, this is really
good freestyle side. You're like, David Carr has looked lights out,
Quincy Monday has looked lights out. Those two guys, it's
really tough to say that either one of them is
going to be beat before the finals. If anyone can
(48:21):
do it, it's the sting, stingy ass Caliendo, to be
completely honest, And maybe that's a little bit of recency
bias of you know, seeing Caliendo and how he wrestled
throughout the season, but also seeing how how he wrestled
in the finals of the NCAA's right. So I'm taking
David Carr in all of this though, because he's been
(48:46):
you know, wrestling super well outside of being TechEd by
Messenbrink in the finals of the Open, So we'll see
what happened. But I'm I'm taking car here, and I
think we get a car versus mess and Brink Final
X matchup.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
I agree, Yeah, I'm excited. I do want to see
Joey Blaze in there and getting after Quincy. I think
Quincy's just he's showing what he can do on the
freestyle scene and obviously was very accomplished in the folk
style as well. But I don't know, man, Joey. Joey
was clearly a gamer when it mattered, beat Tyler Kasak
when nobody gave him a chance, and made his way
(49:25):
to the finals, and I think, you know, he's going
to be a dude who probably isn't at one point
fifty seven for much longer. He's a big dude, real tall. Yeah,
so I think it's going to be a good good
for him, regardless of just getting out there and competing
with some of these high level dudes, old guys. Basically,
(49:48):
I feel.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
The same with with Baraclaw. I'm interested to see how
he shakes up here. But I think you have a
pretty clear one two with with Card Monday and Cars
really separated himself there.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
That's that's where I'm leaning.
Speaker 6 (50:03):
Yeah, I'm taking a car and Monday volume. What is
this four or five between them and their dads now right? Yeah, yeah,
family kind has a little bit of a robbery going here.
But yeah, David Carr, I think he is has the
edge on Quincy Monday. But you know, it's good to
see Quincy, you know, training there with his dad a
little bit at Morgan State, you know, coach Kennedy or
(50:23):
coach Kenny Monday and his brother Kennedy there as well.
So with the guy, a little family affair going off
Morgan State, which is pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (50:29):
But same with Card Iowa State. His dad will be
in his corner as well, that's right.
Speaker 5 (50:33):
Yeah, so it's yeah, it'll be fun to see that.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
There was years when I thought I wasn't going to
get to see that match. Years, whether it was like
somebody losing in a quarterfinal match or something and I
was like, I thought we were going to meet in
the semis or whatever it was. I was just like,
we're never gonna get it, and it's gonna kill me.
And then thankfully they did the All Star thing and
then they've met a couple of times since then. It's just, yeah,
(50:57):
I'm so happy. It's always great.
Speaker 1 (50:59):
It sucks that Nate our junior is so much older
and can't be in the bracket of seventy nine. And
then we can get a a full on car Car
flash with Kennedy wrestling against Nate Carr Jr.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
Six. I don't know when Kennedy got so tall, but
that boy is.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
He's He's huge tall, he's huge. Speaking of Kennedy, let's
move to seventy nine. H Levi, Haynes the one, Hammity,
the two, Semur Ruiz the three, Karsula the four, ham
McBride the five, Kennedy Monday the six, and then Ethan
Riddle is the seven. The Hammity versus Haynes rematch. I
(51:45):
think we get it. It's really hard to bet against it.
But I will say Kennedy Monday has wrestled very well,
and he's a huge wrestler like him wrestling Karsla is
going to look really funny if it happens like that
would that's just insane. So and he he wrestled really
(52:08):
well in that in that All Star against Nate Jackson too,
even being super undersized wrestling Nate Jackson. So I have
a lot of confidence in Kenny Kennedy Monday since you know,
returning back to the Mad He's looked really, really good.
But this is a Haynes Hammity rematch in the making,
and I think Haynes wins it in freestyle. I don't
(52:32):
I don't know what Hammity has in freestyle, so I mean,
maybe it's a it's a little little chalky, but I
think Haynes wins seventy nine and excuse me, makes it
to final X.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
Hammedy has the same wild hips and like weird turns
that he had in Folks Style, but more dangerous. Like
that's that's my opinion. Like I think, I know he
lost the matched Wick, but like he had that match
won until he kind of just fell a part of
the end. I think that's I don't know.
Speaker 4 (53:05):
It's also nine feet tall two right, right, this weakness Kennedy,
it'd be good.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
Well, and that that could potentially be his weakness because
he did lose the matches to Isaaca Lennok before he
transferred over to and they're like the same body style
and everything, So I don't know. I think I think
Hammity's gonna come in here with a chip on his
shoulder to having lost that Wick match and being like, shit,
I shouldn't be here to begin with, Like I'm gonna
(53:32):
go out there. He's gonna have a harder road obviously
to get through it. But I don't know, does it
help to have David Taylor in your corner, a guy
who's clearly wrestled with Levi Haynes versus you know, Cale
Sanderson is not wrestled with uh with Hammity. Maybe maybe
that's the thing, Maybe it's not. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
I mean, the last last time Monday and Hammity wrestled
was in the semis of the Open and Hammity handled
him fourteen to four. He checked him. So yeah, I'm
not I mean, obviously that the finals here. Yeah, yeah,
I'm just saying. I'm just saying that the length won't
be an issue in that regard. But yeah, you're you're
right about the Evan Wick match. It was eight one,
but it was like a late eight one. But yeah,
(54:13):
I mean, it's it's tough to look at how Haynes
wrestled at last year's Trials. When he hit O'Toole and
beat o'tool the way that he did, and not think
that he can, you know, continue to do that again.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
So sure.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
For me, it's Haines Austin your thoughts.
Speaker 6 (54:35):
I think I'm leading in Hammity here over Haynes. Just
the NCAA semi match. I feel like Hammody, you know, he.
Speaker 5 (54:42):
Won that one. I think that kind of he has
Haynes's number a little bit. I know freestyle's a little different.
Speaker 6 (54:48):
I probably will be very wrong here, but I just
had to sting with David Taylor and with this magic
man Stuffy has. Going to Oklom State with these guys,
like these guys really trust on was like a new
energy then. And I think Hammity is kind of kind
of shown why, you know, why David Taylor was hired
there make those guys the best that they can be,
(55:09):
and he's shown that short amount of time. I think
Hammy's gonna keep getting better, you know, So that's why
I'm taking him.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
Is he like Dumbledore.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
Double door, bigger ears, bigger ears, less of a beard.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
Yeah, I'm glad you said that, Rob, because literally I
thought about saying that exactly.
Speaker 4 (55:29):
No, I'm kind of leaning the same way. I like,
I think kind of the same thing. Hammity comes in
with a chip on his shoulder. It's been pretty hard
to bet against what we've seen coming out of the
oklahom State Room. And I mean, with with the signings today,
that momentum is clearly still going.
Speaker 3 (55:47):
So I think I'm gonna lean Hammity here.
Speaker 2 (55:52):
Who do you think wins in a fight? The Rainy
Brothers or the Mario Brothers.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
The Rappos, There's nineteen of them, just keep coming.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
Was anyone else excited to see David Taylor at the
Oklahoma City game?
Speaker 1 (56:07):
That was pretty cool, dude. I was not watching the
game that night, so I woke up the next morning
to go go to the gym and I'm on the
treadmill and I'm and ESPN is on in front of
me as I'm running, and all of a sudden, the
highlight comes on. I'm like, wait a second, is that
David Taylor. I guess he was at the game. And
then obviously you see the you know that it's the
(56:28):
pay Com Center, and you're like, that's why he was
at the game.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
Yeah, he gets good tickets.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
He gets good seats, and he gets good seats. Speaking
of good seats, I think everyone is gonna want a
front row to the five guys that is in the
Browns eighty six. Kyle Diake was probably eating a lot
of five guys to get up to eighty six. I
tell you that right now, date with the number one seed,
(56:57):
Marcella the two, Carter Sarachi the three, ke Kais in
the four, and Marcus Coleman the five. There's a lot.
Speaker 3 (57:05):
Marcus Coleman here. What's that said, Poor Marcus Coleman here, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:10):
That's I mean, he he gets he gets chance Marsteller
the first first match.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
That does not sound pleasant.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
There's there's a lot of NCAA titles in this one.
Goodness gracious, there's nine of them in the first round
matchup between k Kis Well, excuse me, not nine of them.
Nine of them would be in the finals between Dake
and Starachi. But there's you know, we can get at yeah,
which will which, which will most likely happen. But then
(57:38):
the Sarachi k kis in rematch to to kick things
off will be certainly very interesting as well. So I'm
I'm very interested in this match. I'm obviously interested in
the match between Serachi and Dake. But my mind goes
back to when Dake said he was going to Penn
State and Starachi was like, you tweeted out you should
have stayed at Cornell. So I wonder if they've patched
(58:03):
things up since then, because Sarachi and Dake haven't been
in the same bracket at all since Dake got to
Penn State. So should be very interesting should they match
up in the final and make things happen. But yeah,
I it's tough to bet. I mean, you can't bet
(58:25):
against Kyle Dake in this bracket. It's really tough to
do that, to be completely honest. For me, it's it's Dake.
But I think the match between him and Marcella is
going to be a lot of fun. If if it
was to happen, it would be a lot of fun.
But I do think that it is a Carter Starachi
and Kyle Dake match that happens somewhat at some point
(58:46):
in there.
Speaker 2 (58:47):
So well, the Dake Kat guys in one, I don't
remember what the score was. It was either a tack
fall or it was like he beat him by nine
points or something like that.
Speaker 1 (58:59):
Yeah, it was is.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Beat him up good. So I'm not I'm not particularly
worried about that. I'm sure Parker is gonna come in
there with a little bit more. He beat him eight one, Yeah,
eight one, Like he'll come in there with a little
bit different style maybe, or a different approach or what
have you. But Kyle Dak is still Kyle Dak. But dude,
I don't know, man, Like I wish like I had
(59:24):
seen Starachi with like a little bit more because like,
at least, you know, a year or so ago, like
we've seen Mess and Brink have like sustained freestyle success
and so and at least like be a pain in
the ass for Jordan Burrows, you know what I mean.
So you're like, this guy's coming and it's gonna be
it's gonna be tough. I don't necessarily know that Starachi's
(59:46):
style translates as well the freestyle.
Speaker 1 (59:51):
And now now that I think about a quick correction
that Sarachi Dike match what happened in the semis not
the finals? Is there one three not one two? They'd
be on the same side of the bracket. So when
winner of I'm pretty sure it's wouldn't it be winner
of kais in Starachi ends up having Dake in the semis.
Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
Why would it change this the setup? Wouldn't it just
be kind of a rattail match four or five and
then go to a regular bracket.
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
Yeah, you're right, you're right.
Speaker 4 (01:00:22):
Weird ass Michigan people call it a rat tail.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
That's wrong with you? Rattails? A haircut? Get it together?
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Here's another I used to have.
Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Everybody had one that was the official haircut of Wyoming.
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
I'm right, Uh so the I I went to Animal
Pioneer High School then Pioneer Pioneers. Redundant and stupid, sure,
but uh not as stupid as the anib here on
river Rats that was there.
Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
That's an awesome name.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Uh dirty, it is dirty. It was fitting, it was fitting.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
So wait you what was what was your school? Where
did you go?
Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
The A Pioneer Pioneers?
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
You guys were the apps.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
It was the A A p h S. We weren't
down with o PP you know me?
Speaker 1 (01:01:26):
Anyway, back to the wrestling, Yeah, so either way you slice,
these matches are gonna be fun because there's a lot
of NCAA titles that are going to be thrown into
the mix. I think what we should do is this
should be like like a poker game, where gott to
annie up with at least one title once you get
to a certain point. Obviously, you know, sorry Marcus, sorry Marcus,
(01:01:47):
sorry sorry Marcella. I know you guys don't have any
any titles or anything. But the three guys that that
do that have been in the finals multiple times. You
gotta anti up, you gotta throw, you gotta throw at
least one title in. I mean, Rter will eventually win,
but you got to you gotta at least go all in.
Speaker 2 (01:02:03):
Somehow, well, this seems like a good time to share
the Kellen Russell being a six time Big ten champion story.
So my understanding is that I don't remember where it
was somewhere around the world, but there was a freestyle
tournament and Royce, Alger, Jimmy Kennedy, and Kellen Russell were
all in this hotel lobby and at some point there
(01:02:26):
was a bet about uh, I think it was Jimmy
being able to turn Royce, which to my recollection, he
did at that point. Then it changed to Royce and
Jimmy betting Big Ten championships on Rock paper scissors, and
(01:02:49):
so you know, Royce put up his two Big Ten
titles against Kellen, and Kellen beat them. So Kellen Russell
is a six time Big ten champion. Ray Sljoe was
a zero time Big ten champion. And that's how the
history books should record this.
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
I think. I think that's that's how every rock, paper, scissors,
scissors should should go. Is you got to put up titles.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
It's got it, it's got When you're a highly.
Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
Credentialed wrestler, you got to put up some titles like.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
He's got met stencil beat, That's amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
That's how you That's how an up any up in
this in this game. So has everybody taken Dake or
is anyone taking anybody else?
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
I'm still taking a day because I made the Seraci point,
but I'm not gonna stand by it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't think.
Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
It can big against him.
Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
Agreed, agreed, agreed, agreed ninety two. Not a ton of
depth either. I think Homer and Me wants to take Mike.
Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
Mock to be completely, That's who I'm taking.
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
I love that guy, like, yeah, the man love him.
Josh bar the one, Aiden Sinclair, the two Mock, the
three Dustin plot for Patrick Brophy is the five who
not even not even going to acknowledge you, not even
(01:04:15):
going to acknowledge you. I, like I said, I'm I'm
picking Mock. I am. I want to see it happen.
I'm throwing my bias out there, my bias card a
Mock being a stand up human and always been and
has been my boy since those trips to n NC
State way back.
Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
When, an amazing hair.
Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
He's a good, he's a good and he always smells good.
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
I'm mad that. I'm mad that he decided to move
to the Lehigh Valley literally the week after I moved
back here to Texas. Yeah, so maybe he's avoiding me.
I don't know, but I'm still gonna pick him. I
think that he I think that he wins uh here
at ninety two and uh it'll be it'll be a
good time. Who's your pick, guys at ninety two? As
(01:05:02):
you go first?
Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
I like Machiavello close. He lost close Oneness and Claire
at the Open.
Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
I think he reverses that and he I think he'll
knock off Bar then I just Machaveellio, Machavelli, Macavello, Machiavello, jeez,
a little older.
Speaker 4 (01:05:16):
I don't think Macavelli is going to be there predisposed,
that's true.
Speaker 5 (01:05:22):
Yeah, I like him.
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
He's got to mean bar arm though at least he.
Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
I like his hair too great here, That's what I'm
saying here.
Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
He does smell it.
Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
Yeah, every time he's a good hugger.
Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
He smells good.
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
It's good, dude, Dude.
Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
Now, I'm like, I feel left out, Like, am I
the only one who hasn't hugged him?
Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
Apparently?
Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Yes, well I guess I'm only one who's not picking him.
Then if I don't know how good he smells, how
can I, you know, go in.
Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
This is this is it. This is where we go
full on bias. Pick is at ninety two.
Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
Yeah, I'm going Josh Barr. He's from Michigan, rests at
Penn State. But I'm also gonna to jump in and
really lean into the fact that, like I'm kind of
done dowding Josh Barr. I'm gonna assume he's just gonna
win his things until he doesn't.
Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
You realize that the two guys that you've said that
you're not going to doubt them both lost in the
NCAA finals.
Speaker 2 (01:06:16):
Yeah, but you know what, like they made it there.
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Isn't that good?
Speaker 5 (01:06:22):
You've learned the lesson?
Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Is it? Like? That's pretty good? You know who else
didn't like? Get there? Everyone else? The person who was.
Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Any of us, any of us in this conversation did not. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Yeah, I'm gonna get the limitless pill and I'm just
going to show up at Central Michigan with a bunch
of years of eligibility.
Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
I think that's just called adderall. But who might have judged?
Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
That movie would have been a lot less fun, more relatable, maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:06:57):
More way more relatable. We've already talked about ninety seven.
Let's go to one twenty five. Demetrius Thomas is the one,
Trent Hilger the two, Jordan Wood the three, Christian Lance
the four, and Lucas Stoddard the five man.
Speaker 4 (01:07:17):
A big beach looked great at the open who's ah?
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
And Demetrious big meaches looked great?
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
Also great, dude, super nice.
Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
Does he smell good?
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
I haven't been I haven't smelled him.
Speaker 4 (01:07:32):
I haven't given him as many houxes as I've getting mocked.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
But Trent Hilger has great hair, so that's a tough one.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
And he trains with that mammoth of a man. Hayden Ziemer,
who is who we talked about at ninety seven MM.
Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
This is what was probably bigger than Hilgar.
Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
Yeah, talk about hugging dudes and what they smell like
in depth analysis.
Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
It's really just me, sorry, really just.
Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
Making shit weird as it as if this podcast didn't
start off weird enough. I'm I'm taking Jordan Would. Maybe
it's maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I
I'm taking Jordan Wood. It's again my my, my, ninety two,
my one twenty five are Homer picks. You know, I'm
(01:08:22):
a leeh Valley guy and I can't go against the
Lehigh Valley uh men that they that they now are
mock you know, transplant from Ency State. Jordan would a
a Leah Valley guy through and through with going to
Lee High. But I I think that that Jordan Wood
can get the job done here at least, like I said,
I want him to. But I think that he does
as well stand up human as well, and always been
(01:08:46):
a really good dude and was one of those guys
that was competing with Gable back in the day and
was always going head to head. I mean those guys
wrestling at who's number one some you know, matches that
legends are made of, right, So, uh, he's had really
high opinion of Jordan Wood and you know, I always
wanted to see him succeed, and I honestly think that
he does it here to make Final X and uh,
(01:09:09):
Lehigh Valley Wrestling RTC ends up with two guys at
Final X from from ninety two and one.
Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
I always thinking Jordan would too. I do think this
is kind of a toss up. But Dimitris Thomas looks fantastic.
But I'm going to make the case for Trent Hilger
here because I want to make sure he gets the
shout out. This is a close weight, you know in general,
and uh and I think that if you're gonna make
the case for Trent Hilger, it's a he's demonstrated he's
a very good wrestler. Uh B great Here he is
(01:09:44):
wrestling in the same room with Gable Steveson, with Hayden Zilmer,
you know, with Brandon Yeah, I mean he's he's wrestling
in a room with excellent heavyweights consistently. That's why he
went there, you know. So he he's he's been training
for this, he's ready for it. I think I think
(01:10:05):
he's absolutely got everything that you need technique wise and
talent wise and training partner wise to take that step
from where he was a couple of weeks ago to
where he's trying to be.
Speaker 6 (01:10:19):
I like Jordan Wood, I uh first and only five
times you had to be a champion, got to mean something, right,
So I'll take him. Demitius Thomas did look good though
he did beat him by a few points at the Open,
But yeah, I like, I like revenge here.
Speaker 5 (01:10:36):
I think Wood is is my pick.
Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
I think super impressed with with Demetrius at the Open.
Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
Six to one over Wood.
Speaker 4 (01:10:46):
In the semis, yeah, I think I think he makes
at least makes it runner of the finals.
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
I think Hilger makes the finals. On the other side,
I like, I like Meech to keep going.
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
I think he's he's making some strides and and really
figure hearing things out, and I like I like how
he's looked.
Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Cool. Well, that wraps up freestyle. On the men's side,
there's a couple of headlines. On the women's side. You know,
we've got just just like we do on the men's side.
I mean, we've got Aaron Golston who's obviously been in
the mix for a very long time, along with Emily Shilson.
Shilson was one of those absolute killers coming up through
(01:11:28):
through the ranks, and I you know, I think at
fifty we'll probably see a Shilson in Golston match. Felicity Taylor,
Katie Gomez, Sage Mortimer, a lot of names that we've
seen throughout the years of these girls coming up through
cadets and juniors. And yes, it's what you twenties and
(01:11:48):
you seventeens and everything now, but you know, Felicity Taylor
with the top seed, Sage Mortimer, the three, Katie Gomez,
the two Nnjakara in here at fifty five. I know
Jakar has kind of bounced back and forth. She's been
up at fifty five, she was down at fifty three,
I think for like Olympic years. But I mean she's
(01:12:10):
got she's got Rana Gross Seth's wife in here, formerly
Rona Heaton, the cadet world champ way back in the day.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Death famously known as Rona's husband.
Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
Seth famously known as RONNA's husband. He forfeits the title,
uh the NCAA title he has and just becomes RONNA's husband,
but she would probably tell you it was pretty cool.
You know, he's he's a pretty good guy. I think
he would take alright with it. He put a ring
on it, so.
Speaker 4 (01:12:41):
Yeah, but I cannot I cannot attest that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
I think Jakara wins here at fifty five, trying to
see Michale beck Is she might have I think she
she wins them. I feel like I'm going kind of
chalked down on this entire time. Yeah, she's She's also
been very impressive too.
Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
Well. I might as well jump back a weight class
to Stage Mortimer. Don't don't sleep on her either. City
has been fantastic and throughout her career and we always
love her. But Stage, I think is is on a
war path and uh, trying to get after this now
she wants to make one of these world teams.
Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
Yeah, I mean, you know, I kind of glossed over.
But Emily Shilson always I was always afraid of that
little girl, to be completely honest, do you ever see
like the game face you've been around when she's intense.
She is very intense, and you know, you see these girls,
it's it's a serious. It's a serious stare, So yeah.
(01:13:50):
I mean, I think you know we have we have
a good amount of talent on the on the men's
as well as the women's side. I think the headline
here obviously is a Meat coming down to seventy two
after winning, you know, the the every title in the
book that she has won, never lost right now down
(01:14:13):
at seventy two. Kennedy, Yeah, big Waller brand. I'm glad
you guys picked that up. Never lost. Kennedy blades up
at seventy six and she's already in at Final X.
Skyler grote in here at seventy two. I'm pretty sure
that that's probably going to be the final. A meet
versus Skyler will be in the final, something that we'll
(01:14:34):
certainly see. So, you know, we we have a good
amount of talent. I would say most of the girls
that are the most talented outside of you know, seventy
two where we've got Skyler and a Meat, are already
qualified for Final X.
Speaker 4 (01:14:50):
But I like the seventy sixth final or probably Final
Machied and Diamond Guildford. That could be a fun one.
And Maryland Didi is an awesome name.
Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
I'm always I'm always a big fan of the of
the name Diamond, mostly because it's not spelled the same
way spelled with a Y, so big fan of that.
So yeah, I mean, obviously, like I said, the the
women's brackets not as not as deep and mostly because
a lot you know Helen automatic qualifier to Final X,
(01:15:25):
so you know, not not as deep on that side
of things. But we'll certainly be seeing the biggest and
baddest matches happening at Final X for sure, So that
should be a ton of fun.
Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Quick shout out. I feel like Skyler Grote right now
is kind of in that situation when you were like
Andrew Howe and you were just stuck behind Primes. Yeah, man,
it stucks, Like I could probably win a medal, but
like wait, you know, I'm gonna try, Yeah, making weight
(01:15:58):
and I'm showing up and I'm gonna compete.
Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
I Mean, the thing that I love about Skyler is
like she puts out a ton of positivity. She's not
afraid to kind of speak up for women's wrestling, and
her talking about the toxicity of you know, cutting weight
and what women go through on that side of like
cutting weight and worried about how you're looking and then
worrying about the different comments and stuff, and you know,
(01:16:20):
it's it's it's the mental side that the men don't
have to don't have to go through at all. So
her being the mouthpiece for that is pretty awesome, to
be completely honest.
Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
And she's a significantly great ambassador.
Speaker 1 (01:16:35):
Exactly, and I think that's amazing for it, right. So,
and you know, she's been in the spoty for a
very long time. I mean I can remember when she
was the first girl to win a Fargo title from
New Jersey, So she's been around for a very long time.
And you know, so you're right, she is kind of
stuck behind our biggest and brightest, right because if even
(01:16:57):
if it was switched, even if a meat was still
up at seventy six, she would Kennedy Blades to worry
about a seventy two. So it's it's a good problem
for us to have, for sure. But you know, talent
is is just going to continue to stack up.
Speaker 7 (01:17:11):
So rather do a clinic at Penn last year too,
and she was very good with the kids, So I think,
you know, future her future might involve some coaching and
some aspects.
Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
So I think she's, like you said, great ambassador for
the sport.
Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
I'll share this story quick. I think I shared it
once on Blood Around. But I met her in Detroit,
and if anyone remembers me and Detroit, I had a
mustache and I was wearing all Detroit gear every day
and I was just remember different things.
Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
That checks out.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
Had a great time, but you know, I was I
was in a state unlike I would normally want to
introduce myself to somebody. I thought it was going to
be a brief hey, big fan of yours. I just
wanted to introduce myself to you. You're awesome, have a
great rest of your day. But instead she was so nice.
She just kind of like sucked me into this conversation
(01:18:04):
that I'm like trying to get away from. Not because
I didn't want to talk to Skyler, but like because
I was like, I'm embarrassed for myself already, and you're
so nice to me that you were like not allowing
me to get away. So, yeah, fantastic person, big big
scholar girl fan. Since then, I haven't had a chance to,
you know, soberly say like thanks for that. That was
(01:18:26):
really nice. This is my version of that.
Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
Yeah, sky was awesome. She's always been nice anytime I
reach out to her with any sort of questions or
anything about like some of the posts she has, like
you know, enlighten me on that, right, Like I want
to learn more about that side of it because it's
stuff that I've never had to go through, right, And
I have nieces who are cheerleaders, and it's like I
(01:18:51):
want to know about this because of X y Z.
So kind of getting that that insight from a high
level athlete, you know, you can just kind of send
a message to and they and she always responds, always
responds every single time. So big shout out to her.
You know, she's, like I said, been in the spotlight
for a long time and she's done a lot of
good with the spotlight that she's had, so very awesome
(01:19:13):
on her part, gentlemen. That those are those are the brackets.
That's everything for the World Team Trials coming up. Well,
today is when it's starting, so this will be out
before the tournament starts. So yeah, make sure that you
guys are tuning in for the World Team Trials. And
(01:19:34):
as I said at the beginning, this is our last
show under this logo. Our new logo will be attached
to these very strong and debonair Faces and Kevin's starting
next week, and go follow us on the other platform.
The quad Pod is the show Quad Pod Wrestling on
(01:19:54):
YouTube as well as Instagram and in quad Pod Wrestle
on Twitter, you know, sponsored by Poseidon Strength. Really appreciate
those guys again. So yeah, be on the lookout for
way more content coming from us, more stuff coming on social,
some different fun stuff. We've got some segments prepared. I
swear it won't be as crazy as this show has been.
(01:20:16):
We'll try to button it up a little bit. But
remember we're professional idiots before we're professional anythings, so we're
always gonna have a lot of fun. We're gonna curse,
we might drink a little bit, but it's going to
be more like you and your friends talking about wrestling,
unless like we are sitting in a studio and trying
to be as polished and buttoned up and impactful as
(01:20:39):
we truly need to be.
Speaker 3 (01:20:40):
But we're there.
Speaker 1 (01:20:43):
There will most likely be vests. Our sponsor said today,
whatever apparel we we want to get created, they will
supply it with their logo on it. So look for
for all the fun stuff that we have, we will
have you know, discount codes from our sponsor as well
really really cool strength and conditioning or sped strength equipment
(01:21:05):
that they have, so it'll be really really fun. But gentlemen,
this is the end of this chapter onto the next one.
Next week, as I said, Wednesdays, we will be on Spotify, Apple, YouTube,
every single one of those different platforms, So make sure
you guys tune in, like share, subscribe, all that fun
(01:21:27):
YouTube shit, and make sure you're always commenting and engaging
with literally everything, because we'll probably have a segment where
we're just kind of talking about the comments that we get,
whether they are hateful or whether they're nice. And the
other thing is we do have an email address too,
so there's an email address of Quadpodwrestling at gmail dot com,
so if you don't want to leave a comment, you
(01:21:49):
can email us as well. But all those things will
be in the comments below. So, like I said, like share, subscribe,
all that fun stuff, leave comments, give us praise, give
us your shit, tall, give us whatever. We'll probably pay
attention to it, or if you're dumb enough, we will
ignore it. But as always, we appreciate everyone listening and
watching our stupidity as well as the wrestling takes that
(01:22:11):
we have and the insight that we have, and we'll
see you next week on the Quad Pot
