Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, this is Tony Soprano and you're listening to Jersey
Boys Podcast with your host Dave Stshiw and the Ernst Boys.
I mean, I can give a shit, but the Cowboys
when New Jersey. These guys got bulls being Cowboys fans
in Jersey anyways, enjoy well.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Whatever Cowboys Nation. What's going on? It's Dave stir Show
alongside Keith Ernst, America's fan the Grinch himself. Another episode
of Jersey Boys Podcast coming to you on the air
on the Chop Sports Media YouTube channel. Brett Ernst on

(00:41):
assignment right now. We'll figure out if he jumps on,
yes or no. We'll find out just a little bit.
But if not, you just got me and the Grinch. Now,
there's nothing to grinch about here.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I don't think. Yeah, I guess there is. There's a
lot to grinch about it.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
But I will say, Keith, we did not lose to
the Green Bay Packers. How does that make you feel?
For starters? We didn't lose.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Shocked.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I thought they were all were.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
I thought we'd get killed, and man I got the
forty points right green Bay up. I just think we
put up forty.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
You know, it's so funny. I was talking to my
brother prior to the you know, during the middle of
the day. We were talking about the game, and he's like,
he's like, the only way we could score if we
win is if like we score forty and like we
give up forty and I'm like, no, no, that would
be a tie. We literally said that in the middle
of the I swear to God, my brother said that,
and I was like, And then he texted me this

(01:34):
morning he's like, hey, I remember that time.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I said it'd be forty forty and I'm like, yeah,
good call.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
But yes, the Dallas Cowboys tie the Green Bay Packers
forty to forty and it's the second highest tie game
in NFL history. It's the first tie game for the
Dallas Cowboys since nineteen sixty nine. Before that was nineteen sixties,
so they've only done it twice in the sixties. That's it.
My dad was. My dad was adamant that they did

(02:00):
it against the Cardinals once upon a time, but he
said he was he must have been wrong or whatever
he was thinking about a certain game. He's like, I'm
pretty sure it was against the Cardinals, and you know,
talking about maybe not the sixties of sometime he can
recollect it. But in any event, look, when you see
the score on the scoreboard, Keith, it's forty to forty,
you're thinking, you're thinking the obvious, like, hey, offense came
to play and the defense did not. Right, So we'll

(02:22):
start with the bad first, because you know, we'll just
go in chronological order.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
In the beginning of the game, it looked bleak.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
It looked like we couldn't get anything going offensively, couldn't score.
The Packers were going down there at will. So we
start with the bad. Just how bad is this secondary? Man?
Because it's like there's there was rumors over the week
that you know, ebra Flus changed to a one word
audible system where a one word checkdown. Personnel changes were made,

(02:51):
and that means Trayvon Diggs ride the pine for a
little bit before he was brought in. They gave Ready
Steward a little bit of burn. But overall, man, like,
what's the solve here with the secondary?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I mean, if you saw that one play where even
Chris Collins Ruth, there's like there's two receivers open, not
just walking. I mean, how how does that happen? And
I keep saying it and I keep put it in text,
we have a stupid fucking defense. They just don't know
what they're doing half the time. It seems they don't

(03:24):
know their assignments. They're out of place all the time.
It's not a skill thing, it's an intelligent football intelligence thing.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
My father, My father said that yesterday. He's like, we
have like, these guys have talent, right, And I'm like, yeah,
they got talent, and talent can only get you so far.
Because how many times did we see in that game
early on and even throughout the game, you know, Trayvon
Diggs is throwing his hands up in the air and
there's a couple like you could tell that there was
still miscommunication within the secondary. And that's only the tip

(03:53):
of what was going wrong with the defense, because look,
we all know the whole storyline going in was Michael
Parson's coming back to Dallas. How many sacks was he
going to get? How many? Like? And by the way
we held them at Bay they gave him credit to
that sack on the hurry around.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
But I don't that whole that whole thing was getting
I mean, I went our people, it's almost like I know,
I'm comparing it now like it's like Taylor Swift out
of Kansas City Chief, like shut the fuck up about
it or not. He's on the bench, he's warming up,
he's doing this, he's doing that. It's just like we
nobody cared. All right, we get it, And he didn't

(04:29):
do anything. He really didn't that one play in overtime.
Like they're making a big stink about they are reaching.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Well, I mean according to their stats and PFF and
stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
He had eight quote pressures on Dak Prescott.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
But again, Dak Prescott ate the pressures up for breakfast
and we'll get into that a little bit.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
But yet we had we had I think we had
seven pressures against Caleb Williams last week. What did that
do for us?

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I don't give him that goddamn thing.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, he didn't sack once again. I don't even know where.
I didn't even see him in any running. They keep
taking him out of the game. So I'm whatever. I'm
just annoyed with every single thing. And I told you
a couple of weeks ago it was the funniest thing
when I was watching I can't remember which game it was,
but it was the Packers and they gave Michael Parsons

(05:16):
credit for a sack and he was on the sideline.
It was fucking insane.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I mean, are you surprised, I mean that they're supposed
to go.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
The guy said something like, so this guy's benefiting too,
because Michael Parson's on the sideline here, And if you
look how this guy's lined, that was, like.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
That's almost just as bad as Chris collins Worth trying
to cut like cape up for Patrick Mahomes on a
beautiful recovery of a fumble, you know what I mean,
Like Patrick Mahomes would jump on that ball and I'm
just like, what the fuck are we talking about? He
threw the ball sixteen yards behind him. But in reality,
you're right, like Michaeh. Parsons is obviously we know what
he's capable of. He was a cowboy for four years,

(05:54):
you get it right. But he was a non factor
to me right overall in the grand scheme of things.
But the biggest thing for me, besides the fact that
once again only one actual, real real chunk play Keith,
I don't know if you noticed that. It wasn't like
they weren't crushing us over the top, like Chicago was
These were like like seven to ten yard intermediate routes

(06:14):
that we just couldn't get our fucking paws on. Every
time there was a third down, we couldn't get off
the field. Every time there was a fourth that we
couldn't get off the field. It was insane. But the
one thing I will say is the one glaring hole
that we have is something that you've harped on a
million times, and that is the linebacker room. Because man,
oh man, like Kenneth Murray's had himself a decent start
to the season, but even he was looking slow. He

(06:36):
looked back and you and I right now, your daughter
right now can outrun Sandborn. Okay, there there's no doubt
in my mind. He might be the slowest running back
in history. And I saw somebody, what I say, I'm sorry,
running back, it's fine, the slowest linebacker history. And as
somebody did a side by side and I laughed my ass,
They're like, remember the good times, and it was. It

(06:57):
was a side by side of Sandborn and Jalen's. Now
I raise you the question who's worse?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Well, you know this.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Is what I like.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
What I do notice about Samborn is he's in place.
He's normally in place. He's just not number one. He's
not hitting the hole.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
I think he's.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Just not and he's not tackling. I mean, he was
missing so many tackles, you know, so so comparing him
with with Jalen Smith or whatever, you know what I mean.
Jalen Smith was fast. He just you know, I meant.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
He made a living off of getting guys nineteen yards
down the field.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Yeah, exactly exactly. But Samborne, I could see why you
know that that he can that they he they have
him in the middle because he's now here's somebody that's smart.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
He seems or at least he understands Era the system
from Chicago.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Yeah, but when I say, yeah, he understands it. But
he has football intelligence and he's he's in the right spot.
He's just he can't make the play. It's like the
opposite right of the other guys with talent that just
not in the right spot to make the play. So yeah,
him and and and actually Kenneth Murray went out and
Houston came in. I was like, yeah, Murray to come

(08:10):
back in.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
I was like, still, look, yeah, Houston still looks like
a baller and he looks like one of our better
pass rushers. I mean, look, j Davion Clowney came in
there and he did his thing like he was in
on that strip.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
He was in on that funbel recovery.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
So he was like right there, right, did you see
that on the run that they had when he did
that spin move?

Speaker 2 (08:29):
It was dope.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, I mean look he got he blew up the
play by you know, by making a football play. So
that was pretty impressive by him. And then Luisfo And
that's what I mean, we're just the stupid, dumb Luisfo like,
And I defend football players a lot because I know
how intense the game can.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Be, all right, how fast the game could be too, and.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
The motions behind it because you're you gotta be angry
to play, and I get it, but these play why
are you hitting him at a bounds? It was Luisfo?
When did that?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Remember that? Yeah? Personal foul was huge game.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
And then the other guy punches him in the head,
our new rookie.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Guy, Yeah, donovanze Aaku, who by the way, had a
fantastic game. You know, he played really well. And it's
like these are the kinds of things you just can't have.
And again this goes it goes to it. Look and
you know, I'm a I'm a shoddy apologist all of
a sudden, like throughout the whole course of the summer
into the regular season. But this goes down to coaching.
It absolutely does. You have to have your guys discipline.

(09:30):
So many pre snap penalties, so many infractions on the defense,
and of course, yeah those plays, like in real time
when Maurice hit him. After the play, I was like,
what a terrible call by the refs. Right then they
showed it again. I'm like, all right, what a terrible
bonehead moved by Maurice. Yeah, and I like deleted a
tweet and everything. I was like, this is because I
was real quick to blame the officials on that one.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
And then in reality it was actually leaf fall.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
And the refs play they called a pretty good game.
The only one that I didn't like was that uh
huh uh. After week we got a first and I
think it was that what what what offensive lineman? They
said was illegal formation.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Or whatever it was?

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Oh dude, that was it. That was probably that. That
was a bad call. But that was the only bad
call all night.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I mean, but I love how every time they make
an agregious call like that and like it's such a
game shift their type call, they'll always back it up,
like Mike Turico and Chris Collins was always backing up.
Like well, the NFL sent out a memo and they
said they're going to be cracking down on this ship,
Like shut up, dude, no way, no way, are they
cracking down on the belt line of the offensive line,
Like so bad. He's not in the fucking backfield. Stop,

(10:38):
you know what I mean, Like.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
That's so bad because that was, like you said, I mean,
we were trying to get something gone. We didn't even
scored yet.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
No, and you know, like I said, I guess the
best part of the defense, considering again forty forty tie
you couldn't get off the field when like when you
absolutely needed to have a down, you couldn't get off
the field, which is ridiculous. But I guess the best
play defense slash special teams is the block by juan
Ye Thomas and you know, and and Marquis Bell takes

(11:04):
it to the house for two points.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Now, to me, these are two firsts.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
I've never seen that more than defense.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
But well, yeah, but I'm saying like, these are defensive
players that are making these plays, so that's why I'm
just kind of trying to trying to powder them up
a little bit. But like, I've never seen that, and
I've never seen a tie, So these two anomalies happen
on the same night, which is just bonkers to me.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
I would say the best defensive play obviously was the
strip on Jordan Love.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Oh, it was great.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yeah, that was that. You know that that was a
momentum swing for us, and just the disrespect towards our
defense of they're going forward. I mean there was there
was like fifteen seconds left and they're like, yeah, we
know that's when he got stripped. It's like they're like,
we know we can get we can go the length
of the field in three seconds with this defense, which
they proved at the end of the game.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
And now I was just say, I don't know what
you were. You know, your your phone was probably under
the couch. But like I'm thinking to myself, like, what
what are the guys thinking? You and Brett we're collectively
weill Brett was on stage, but like we were collectively
watching this, and I'm like they're trotting up to the
line for that last play in overtime, and I'm like,
wait a minute, and I look at my dad. I'm like, wait,

(12:11):
they're going for the kill here. They're not even setting
up for a field goal. They're going for the juggler.
They're gonna we break this playoff. It's game over. Like
we win. And then they dropped back the pass. Love
throws a dart right to the back of the head
of sandboard. Now ball goes out the back of the
end zone into the tunnel where it gets like that
one seconds off the clock. We win the game, right,

(12:32):
and there's no doubt about it. But again, if my
fucking ant had balls, she'd be my uncle.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
But you can't really just like no, it's it's it
was a very and I and I and then again
I'm watching, going, whoa what we gotta watch that again.
There's no way there may have been two seconds left. Maybe,
Well that's the thing that's so lucky with that, you're right,
but what's worse dis respect on us, Like right, they're like, oh.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
We're just gonna fucking dump it over the top. It's
gonna be craft for somebody back there. Somebody will come
down with it over one of these bum ass fucking
corners and that's how they felt and we felt this,
and you know, and and again credit to Sanborn for
just getting his fucking noggin in the way. He really
didn't make a play on the ball, just in the way, really,
but like again, you know what would be crazy though,

(13:12):
And this is the crazy part if what's worse what
we experienced what we just saw, meaning like hit the helmet,
drops the ball one second left, oh my god, or
it runs down to zero, they review it and they
put one second back on the clock. Yeah, no, I
know that would have been that would have that would

(13:32):
have crushed me. If they're like, oh, like everybody's like,
oh cowboys win, hold on, wait, they're gonna put more
time on the clock. And I would have fucking lost
my mind. But I dropped in my knees last night
and I'm like no, and my dad's like, what penalty?
What what am I missing? I was like, there's one
fucking second left. He goes, oh, you gotta be fucking
kidding me, Like, my dad is a curse a lot,
but he fucking lost it too. And you know, we're

(13:54):
able to we're able to smile and laugh about this
because on the other side of the ball, Dak Press
got put on his cape yesterday all right, Dak Prescott
absolutely balled out. He played a perfect game. Now, I
don't know if you heard this stat nugget, which is
gonna blow your fucking mind. Home teams. Did you hear
about this? Home teams that score forty points and don't

(14:19):
turn the ball over? Going into last night, we're three
hundred and oh yeah, and now they're three hundred oh
and one. We are the anomaly, we are the tie.
We are the bitch made assholes that broke up.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
What does that tell you?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Though?

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Thus his defense sticks awful? I meant, it's awful. They
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how.
I mean, I know we just were talking about the offense. Now,
but Bro, that the Packers. The Packers scored on every
drive in the second half, five in a roun every
fucking drive, and even when we got ahead and there's
thirty seconds left, they just have to stop them. That's

(15:02):
it was.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Giving me PTSD Bro from the playoff game, every drive.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Boom boom, boom, boom boom.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
I'm like, dude, no, that's not even what I'm just saying,
is is the whole second half. We score a touchdown,
then they score a touchdown, then we kick a field goal,
and then all we have to do is stop them again.
After we scored that touchdown, they let him score a touchdown.
Just stop them. There's thirty seconds left, nothing, nothing, they

(15:27):
just drive down and kick a field goal with no
time with them. And what it's reminiscent of is the
New York Giant game where they scored with twenty five
seconds left on a bomb on a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
And that game was taken to the fucking end end.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
That's my point. And they were both overtime games. But
I mean, it's just it's the defense is I don't
I've I don't get it. And it has nothing to
do with Micah Parsons at all. No, our defense sucked
with him there.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Right, And and a lot of people finally started to,
you know, double down on that, and they started to
say to themselves like, Okay, you know, not a lot
of not a lot would have been a different Do
you think, honestly in your heart of hearts, Keith, in
a game like last night, that if Michael Parsons was
on our team, that we'd win no, right, Like, So
it's like the defensive secondary had so many mental lapses

(16:11):
in last night's game. That's just like, Okay, you know,
I don't know, and I answer you this question last week.
Are we one player, two player, three players away from
being a decent defense? Now they came out with the
rankings today and the Dallas Cowboys yards per game are
the number one offense in the league, and we'll talk
about that in a second, but they're also the thirty
second ranked defense.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
So that's a true stack. We are number one and
number thirty two.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
If the Dallas Cowboys can get to like sixteen, we
might be an elite team, you know what I'm saying.
If we become a middle of the pack defense, we
can win a lot of fucking football games with this offense.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
But yeah, I just can't, right, you just can't.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
So flipping to the other side, obviously, you know, the
defense just didn't do us any favors. But the offense
humming right after that first slow start, which it seems
to be the mo since we've been doing this fucking podcast,
This slow starts with the Cowboys. Sometimes they'll go out
there and shock you and say, oh, opening drive touchdown.
That's okay, you know, like that doesn't happen often, right,

(17:11):
But when they don't, it's always the same m like, ah,
they can't get off to you know, it's a slow start,
blah blah blah. So after the slow start, you know,
you're watching this and you're like, okay, how can we
get going? We're out, we're down seed lamb. And then
your boy, your favorite receiver, you think the wide receiver
won on this team, George Pickens has himself an absolute

(17:34):
crazy good night, including a catch that I don't know
how many people can come down that ball. That concentration man,
that is and that's exactly what you saw. You saw
specifically when Kim coming up he said he's one of
the better guys in the league.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
Yeah, I mean I thought he and I know people won't.
I thought he was the best receiver last year in
the NFL. I'd have that conversation with you on text,
you know. Yeah, I'm still I'm still in awe. I mean,
he did have that one drop that would have been
a touchdown possibly on that on that slant skinny post,
but hey, you know, the catches he made did make

(18:08):
up for it. And also there was one where to
both of the both of all receivers. It may have
been it might have been Turpin on the other end
or I don't know, Albert, but regardless, they both did
fade routes. And and if he would have went with
Pickens instead.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Of what what about the one? What about the one
we missed the Turpin? Turpin was running free. Yeah, he's
starting to skip around, like, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
And it's hard. I mean, that's defense. I mean, people think, oh,
why don't you see that, dude, if you made.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Your first read, if your first read is the Pickens
and he finds himself with space there, you know.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
You know, in the NFL, you don't have time. Unless
you're playing our defense, you got all the time in
the world. But otherwise, you you know, you really you
really don't.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
You know. I mean, like like I said, George Pickens
had himself an all world game. Jalen Tolbert with maybe
that one of the better catches that I've seen in
a long time. A lot of people could say that
Dak was just throwing that ball away, but I don't
think that's the case at all. I think that and
Prescott said it in his postgame, he said, the only
way I was going to get rid of that ball
to that side is if I knew because he said

(19:19):
he wasn't going to be able to reach the end zone.
So if he just did a shorter throw and saw
that Tolbert had the positioning in front of him, the
only person I was going to get to that ball
was Tulbert and Tilbert alone. So therefore it was either
going to be incomplete or completion to Tolbert, and it
was a completion in Tulbert. However, we don't cash in
on that drive, and that that's just that's such a
killer man, and you have you have the tools and

(19:41):
the talent to cash in. And you know, again, how
many times can you run the rock? I don't know, But.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Look what we're passing by what we're not we're passing.
We're not giving credit to Green Bay's defense is elite.
They're one of the best defenses in the I mean,
I was going to ask.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
You, does this expose them or is they Are they
still good?

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (20:01):
They're good.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
I mean they're good. I mean who has who's done this?
I mean, even when they lost to the Browns, it
wasn't their defense's fault it was Jordan Love and then
having Turner it was ten. They shut out the Browns
for three and a half quarters, right, I mean you
know that the Packers did not allow a first half
touchdown all season, and guess what, we got two of them.

(20:23):
We got two first half touchdowns against that defense. So no,
that defense is legit. So I meant I get and
I'm with you. I meant you wish we could have
punched it in, but they that offense exceeded expectations.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Are you mad at the decision to kick the field
goal there on food out? No, I'm not either.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
I'm like any of those decisions. And I thought that
he coached a good game.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Again, Schottenheimer absolutely was in his bag last night as
far as some of the creativity. He had a direct
snap to which was really weird. I was like, who
the fuck is in the bat? I was like, Oh
my god, it's Caravante in the backfield. Yeah, like by himself.
Where's Dak Dak's lined up at a receiver?

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:58):
What is that? Listen it people have done in the NFL,
not the Cowboys, not the generic ass Dallas Cowboys. We
pulled it out of our assets today and we made
it happen. But again, it's one of those things where
the world was picking against us. All three of us
were saying, Okay, you know, how bad is it gonna be?
It's gonna be bad. How bad is it going to be?
And the Cowboys definitely showed a little resiliency. Now, look,

(21:19):
we're a quarter of the way through the season already
four games in. Dak Prescott has been considered to be
playing probably the better. I don't know if there's anybody
besides Josh Allen. I want to say, because Josh Allen's
like a unicorn, but like outside of Josh Allen, and
I'm being dead ass, I don't think there's anybody playing
the quarterback position.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Better than Dak right now, I don't. I don't think
about it.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Look around the league, man Mahomes ain't he just turns
it on one week. Lamar's not right. Joe Burrow's not hurt.
I mean he's hurt. Justin Herbert had a couple of
nice games, but he felt sure. Nah, you know, even
because Stafford's ball in two. But I'm just I find
it hard.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Press Actually, before Sunday you may have titangled Jones.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Right, but again, see he came down the earth. Right, Like,
through four weeks of the season, Dak Prescott has a
boatload of yards. He does have three turnovers, right, he
has three interceptions, but he also has six touchdowns in
four games. And you know, because now we have a
running game, now, you don't have to unleash that all
the time, and you can't say that. I mean, look,
I know that we've had this discussion on the show

(22:18):
a million times about can you put the team on
his back when they're down? And he was called upon
to do that multiple times last night and he did, right,
He played his ass off, and now you just hope
that there's consistency.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
That's that's what I want. Yeah, And I'm not granted
him anything because I've said this in the beginning of
the season. I'm I mean, I love how he played,
but I'm still thinking the same thing of him. You know,
I just don't know if he can get it done
when it really happens.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I'm sorry, It's totally logical and not like a far
fetched like I can't believe Keith's saying that. Right now,
We've all like, if you're a Cowboys fan, you absolutely
know the shortcomings of Dak Prescott in his first nine
years as a quarterback of the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Right, that goes without saying. Everybody knows that.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
But now if you look at year ten, he's playing
his best ball. He's being more conservative, concise, a lot
of dropdowns and a lot of checkdowns, right, and you
know what, take those all day, because now you have
a battering ram of a running back named Javonte Williams
who's playing really, really good football. Yeah, in the first
four weeks and now, unfortunately, I think Miles Sanders might

(23:26):
have rolled his ankle.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
He didn't see him in the second half, or at
least towards the back end.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
And maybe now you get Jayden Blue, I don't know
against the Jets, I'm not sure. But he's had a
couple of good weeks of practice, according to Schottenheimer, And
you know, you want to make sure you're on your
p's and q's. If you don't know the offense or
you don't know the system and you're struggling to learn
the playbook, then you're not going to play and suit up.
And he you know, Schottenheimer claimed that it was a
numbers thing, I or a little weaker on defense, So

(23:52):
we need more defensive players.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
So therefore, Jayden Blue is inactive.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Now you might need to put Jaden Blue back there
because I'm not sure if I can trust not to
say I can't trust, but I don't know if I
can rely on Javonte Williams to take the full workload
without spelling like a like a lip ge or turpin
off the backfield or some shit.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
I don't know, but yeah, yeah, I mean, that's that's
I mean, when is how long's mufafa out?

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Whatever? The heck? His name is Phil Maffa. I believe
he is eligible to come back this week, so right,
we don't. I don't know he's eligible, young man.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
I would love to get Blue in there.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, I mean, look again, he he's the kind of
guy that's going to really and this is in real time.
I'm just we're recording this Tyreek Hills being carted off
to the to the blocking room right now, and he's
like waving to the crowd, and that do not look good?
Oh boy? All right, well, that is a playmaker in
the league. Happens in real time as we record this

(24:48):
on a Monday night right now. The Dolphins up seventeen
to three over the Jets. The Jets, the same Jets
that we will be welcomed in by. Uh.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
This is good. Actually, if anyone is watching this game
or can watch a condensed version of this game, it's
actually a good indication of how our defense will do
because some the Dolphins defense might be as bad as ours.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
So they're getting I mean, just based off the first
half of football, I saw them getting pushed back heavily
in the run game, so like Bryce Hall and Braylen
Allen were having their way.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
Yeah, so that's my whole thing, So that that's a
good indication on how I mean they've been turning the
ball over the Jets and playing stupid ball I saw
in the first half, but they also have been driving,
so right, we'll get to that in a little bit.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
But yeah, I mean, look, but circling back and getting
back to this tie ball game with the with the
Packers again, and my dad made a good point. He's like, hey, listen,
come December, you won't have to do any of the
crazy math. You're either gonna have one less loss or
one less win than than the person you're competing with
because of the tie.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
So the tie could work to your advantage, or it
could work to your downfall.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
There's no more like, oh, if we beat these guys
and these guys lose to these guys, none of the
ship matters because that tie, that tie is going to
be in your record at the end of the year
and you're gonna have nothing to really combat BA. So again,
it could it could work out fantastic. You know, the
Cowboys can finish fucking thirteen three and one. You never know.
I'm being uh, you know, yeah, you are a little

(26:14):
little little starch on that one. But no, I don't
think they lose another game. I don't know about you,
but no, But yeah, like I said, forty forty tie,
very weird game, a well coached game by Shottenheimer. What
they do with Eberflus, I have no idea at this point.
You know, he made adjustments, he made personnel changes, he

(26:34):
did all this shit, and then they put up forty
points on us.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
I know what I don't like. It's not him, it's
the players. I mean, I don't think it's him.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
It's the IQ of the players.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
You're saying, yeah, I think it's mostly the IQ. So
maybe maybe they come around. But you see our linebackers
I mean, we don't have. The only solid linebacker we
might have is Luifo, and you know that's it.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
And he was he was in the dog He was
in the doghouse for a while, you know, and then
all of.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
A sudden, Maybe that's why. Maybe what he did is
that the baby. They're like, yeah, he's loose cannon. We
can't have him out there type guy.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
You know. Maybe, and maybe it showed its real fucking
nasty ass yesterday.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Clark, I mean he I mean, I was happy he
wasn't out there scratch. Yeah, I mean, I'm I know,
we know what he can do. I Sam Born, I was,
I mean, showed his ass last night. And so did
K nine or whatever you want to call him. He
showed his ass. I think the rookie kid played well.
I thought, uh, I thought our d lion didn't play

(27:34):
that bad.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Actually, you know what they didn't run for?

Speaker 4 (27:37):
Didn't they run for one hundred and fifty yards or
something last night or something?

Speaker 2 (27:40):
They started running a lot better towards the back end.
I think we were gassed. I think that the defense
was just so spent. But like I'm looking at these
and why you say it's IQ and I believe in
that too. I think that there's there's definitely something to that.
But man, are they undersize. Bro, they are small people
when it comes to somebody these physical backs, Like you
can't ask a Shamar James or somebody like that to

(28:00):
run up on Jessh Jacobs and just wrap up and tact.
It just it's just not gonna happen. And that goes
the same that's the same as why.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
Why are we are like one of the only teams
that struggle with those screens? I mean, no other fucking team.
And they got small player, they got smaller corners. I meant,
it's just like we could. I mean, it's amazing how
they're getting twelve thirteen yards like like nothing. Poor tackling,
not not being in position nothing.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Man. I think that's one of the straight I think
that's one of the bigger issues outside of the fact
that you know, the coverage with stink, you know, shitty,
and then you have like you know, bad positions, bad
players and wrong positions all shit.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
The tackling.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
Man, So that's that's not that's not a ferbolous is uh,
that's not his.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
That's not his.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
He All he can do is put people in position
to make the play. He can't make the play for them.
You expect these players to know these things when you're
playing in the NFL, how to tackle and things like that.
You know, and and it's piss poor. And I blame
that on our GM and who's who's bringing the players in.
But dude, you see that there's so many young good player.
I meant that that white boy from Cleveland, that linebacker,

(29:11):
oh my god, he was taken in like the third round.
He is killing it. He's the dude that that lit
up Jordan Love and made him made the made the fun.
I mean, he's starting. I mean, there are good defensive
players out there. We're just not grabbing him for some reason.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
There was there was a play on the the Ireland
game in the in the beginning of the the day,
ship man, what time does that game start for you?
Six in the morning. That must be fucking awesome, Like
just literally like your alarm set you wake up. You're
like I was on football, But uh no, there was
a play where Jordan Addison got free and he just
started bolting down the sidelines and and fucking uh the

(29:46):
white linebacker, what the hell is his name?

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Peyton something? I forget his name, but somebody that I wanted.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
When Dallas was looking for a linebacker, he fucking ran
down a linebacker a receiver and I'm like, Wow, the
fucking speed of this guy. I'm like and then I
see his name and I'm liked him.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
That was that the one where they didn't they didn't
end up scoring a touchdown. They kicked a field goal
because he stopped them. There was a play where maybe
that that that like they're like, wow, what hustle. If
he didn't hustle and let him and let him score,
then you know, they you know, would have been just
uh I would have been a touchdown on a field goal,
which is kind of cool anyway. Yeah, no, I'm a

(30:21):
uh yeah no, I mean I don't know, man. I
just like I said, defensively, I think I think that
obviously the we say they're talented, but you know, could
be fast. You could be fast, but you can't, you know,
not knowing how to tackle and having the basics.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
And because nine times out of ten you could run
right by these guys, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (30:38):
He had a good hit though, last night.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I wonder what you know what I know, it's when
you're talking about, he like leaves his shoulder.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
Down and he just like matter he got him down man.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
And again there was one play where he almost jumped
the route and he almost took it to the house.
There was one that he actually did pick and they
called it back on a penalty, which he can't have.
But yeah, I mean, look, there there are some glimmers
of play on defense. They just got to put it
all together. And I don't know if there's a team
and this is the same thing that you're saying or

(31:06):
what my dad or other people or other Cowboys fans
are saying that, Like I'm like, oh, well, they got
Carolina coming up, and that could be a get right.
I don't think there's anybody in the schedule that's a
get right game for Dallas right now, you know what
I mean. It's unfortunate.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
And then listen, we we let Russell Wilson look like
a superstar.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Was now benched. That was that's our Saints game.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
By the way, I.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Meant every single quarterback pretty much abused us, including Jalen
Hurts even though it was one half. But I meant
running the ball whatever. But they can't see the produc
their offense right now. But there's still four and oh
there is not one team even justin fields next week.
There is no one we could look by. There is
no I'm bringing this up, there's not one. I can't

(31:49):
see a sleepwalking at all to any any victories.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
I didn't know the defense was going to be this badly.
Nobody I don't think anybody did.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Yeah, I thought I thought we did have an improvement
at our linebackers, and I thought maybe this. I thought
this defense that he was running may have you know,
I was hoping that, you know, we had the players
to support it, and you know, we just don't.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
And the unfortunate part is I'm sitting there, I'm thinking
to myself, like, well, you know, we'll get over Sean
back right and that and that and that will be
a good.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
Burst to the lineback and court.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
I just hope that we're we're in it still by
the time he comes back. I hope we don't lose
a bunch of games prior to and then the games
he comes back, they don't mean anything, you know what
I mean, Like, because if he's trying to get back
before Thanksgiving, which is I guess that's the goal for
him after Thanksgiving, you got a month left the football.
If you're out of it by Thanksgiving, it's like great,

(32:42):
Like it's good to see him back in the field,
and what a story. Everybody is like, But is it
gonna be a story when we're five eleven and one
and it's like, who gives a shit? You know?

Speaker 4 (32:50):
So if you look, I mean when I when there's
like I like this game, here is is one where
the this Green Bay game, I thought we didn't have
a chance at all. So the Jets game, we have
a chance. The Denver game, we have a chance. I mean,
there are chances in these games where I don't know
the next team that we play that.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
You know, look at the Jets, the Panthers, Yeah, all right,
so we got I believe it's the Redskins after that,
so you.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Know, maybe I don't know how they're going to be
doing at the time, but there's a chance, and we
play them well. We always play Washington well, even when
last year the last game of the year, we played
them well, even though we beat them, we did beat
them last year, but I meant in the last game
we almost beat him again with I'm.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Kind of curious to know how bad this knee is
for Jayden Daniels because I mean, like he's missed two
games already.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
He said he's going to start.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Yeah, But like you also don't want RG three another
Redskins quarterback, you know what I mean? You rush him
back and he just gets banged up. It's like, that's
all she wrote. That's your future right there. You can't
get too crazy. So if I was the Redskins, I
would say, you know, I just take the rest of
the year off because you got Mars who beat us.
By the way, dude, every back up under the sun

(33:59):
is beating us at some point. Or the Eagle game
was the one that, like I think it was like
the third guy. He was like, hey, well we dropped
this bucket.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
You know.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
It's like, oh my god, how big you look at?

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Actually believing or not? Justin fields. We we beat twice.
We're two and oh against him. We beat him when
he was there.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
They were wearing the orange jerseys when we beat him
that one time.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
I remember that beat him in the bear and we
beat him with the Steelers last year.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
How was that fucking That's right?

Speaker 4 (34:24):
We did beat against him.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
So all right, well, maybe hopefully New colors, same same guy.
I mean listen, Like I said, I've been watching the
first half of this Jets Dolphins game, and I texted
my brother as a joke, I was like, his team
name is Apollo thirteen because that was our old dog's name.
I was like, Apollo thirteen made a roster move cut
Justin Fields because he has him on his bench. I
was like, there's no way you're gonna have him after this,
because you're gonna watch this tape and you're like, oh wow,

(34:48):
he actually still thinks. But I would keep it around
with Aaron Wilson and I'm like, oh, fucking kill me too,
because it's like.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
I mean, he's not gonna I would keep I would
start Justin Fields next week, you know out I said, yeah,
it's start. I'd start him next week justin Fields.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Well, that's that's why get of him. That's why you
got him. He goes, he goes. I was like, why
the fuck would you pick up just a muse because
he's playing the fucking Cowboys. It's like, we got a fan,
are you because he's a fan that wants to win
some money.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
I get it, man, I get I'm the same way.
I mean, I actually took the Packers in my h.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
I wish I see my dad. I always refer I
don't know, I refer to my dad fifteen times this
episode of Lady. But he always says, like, how much
is a win worth it to you? What that means is,
are you willing to put a hundred bucks against the
Cowboys every week so in case they do lose, you
win some money?

Speaker 1 (35:39):
No?

Speaker 4 (35:39):
See, I've done that.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
How much can you possibly be?

Speaker 4 (35:43):
Yeah, it still hurts either way. I've had that thing
where it's like, yeah, hey, well I'm betting again, so
if we win, and then I even if we win,
I'm like, you know what's worse. You know what's worse
is when is when you're like, all right, you know, uh, Cowboys.
Cowboys are favored by six, right, the Cowboys are favored
by six against the Redskins, and you're like, I'm taking

(36:04):
the Redskins, right, I'm taking the Redskins. And then but
then the Cowboys. You want the Cowboys to win, but
you win by a field goal on the cover and
then they win and then they cover and then that hurts.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
You're like, it would never be for me, it would
never be with the spread it would just be straight up,
I don't give a fuck. If it's like one hundred
dollars to win forty I'm like, I'm up forty bucks
if they lose this games or whatever. But in any event,
Packers are now in the rearview. We don't have to
talk about Mike anymore. It's all it's all in the
rear view now. Income the Jets, now I'm going to
be there. I'm going to be in a tendanc You're going. Yeah.

(36:39):
Every time that they popped up on the schedule and
I was like, oh, they're coming to New York twice,
I'll be there twice. And then obviously the game in Vegas,
which will come sooner rather than later. And the Raiders got
some issues as well, so hopefully we'll be cruising by then.
But with the Jets again, no offense against our defense

(37:00):
is going to just get stale. The Jets are they
have the ability to run the football, not so much
throw the football. They're not a big throw team. Justin
fields isn't a big throw quarterback. And if anything, Keith,
do you agree that our our strongest suit right now,
I believe it or not is our run defense? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (37:18):
Yeah, I mean, pre Sall is a beast, but yeah,
I bet what running backs have we won against?

Speaker 2 (37:23):
I just wanted Justin Fields just took it to the
house for like forty yards.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yeah, that was fucked.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
So don't don't be don't don't don't be shocked if
they don't, if they don't watch tape of the Philly game,
because that's more because they're gonna Justin Fields is gonna
end up running a lot at quarterback. He's gonna know horse.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
So I meant, and we don't have a speed to
have a spy.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
Do you remember I thought a few years back, I
thought Justin Fields was going to be one of the
best quarterbacks in the NFC. That was a few seasons
ago on the Bears, because the way he finished his
rookie year, I'm like, yo, we better watch out for
this guy. And then so you know, and he is
just getting back this game from an injury.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
That's that's fair, you know, So they come back from concussion.
We don't know about the star status of Braiden Allen
because he's.

Speaker 4 (38:09):
Definitely this is going to be another tip for tag game.
I think, you know it's not I don't want it
to end up like the Bears.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
I don't think again, I'm not gonna get too confident
because it is the NFL and any given Sunday people
could do whatever.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
But I don't put that Bears game to me.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
The more I look at it, and the more I
look at the first four games of the NFL season
for the Cowboys, like they played real well in spurts
against the Eagles, then they go through the cardiac arrest
game against the Giants. Then you just have this I
want to call it, like an anomaly of a game
where they just get torched on every single play and

(38:51):
they have no response for it. With the Packers, you
at least had a response for it. So with me,
I'm thinking the Cowboys are going to be able to
score points against the Jet's on the road. I think that.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
I think the Cowboys will score points.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
It's just a matter of can you get off the
fucking field on third down? You know how many times
are they going to get confident enough to go for
it on fourth? You know when it's fourth and two
and they're like, well, yeah, I can fucking just run
this ball and will be good, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (39:14):
The thing about the jetsmate, you look at our defenses.
We went against. The best defense we went against obviously
was Green Bay and putting up forty on them is
pretty you know, pretty tough. And uh even against the Giants,
you know, yeah they got to they got a pretty
good you know, defensive line and putting up points on them.
And the way that you know, our offense, and that's

(39:36):
the whole thing is like, I know we didn't score
we didn't score over thirty against the Eagles, but we
know we should have without those turnovers. And you could
say the same thing for the Bears. You know, we
we were in there, we were in their red zone
twice and turn the ball over. So we cut those
we cut those turnovers down. You know, we we you know,
we play mistake free as far as that goes. Yeah,

(39:56):
there's a good chance, you know, we can, you know
we can. We can win the game and maybe feel
a little comfortable. But I just don't see us slowing
down the Jets unless unless we take them out of
their game.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
Isn't it?

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Isn't it crazy though that in the first four weeks
we're trying to take the good and the bad, and
it's obvious, right the good is the offense. The bad
is the defense, and the good is the special teams
because Aubrey can kick it from anywhere on the planet. Right, great,
But like this team, no bullshit is like a crazy
ending away and the Giants and a crazy ending away
the Packers being owned four. I know, you know, but

(40:32):
in the same reference, we're a couple drop passes in
a field goal one second away from being three and one. Yeah,
it's the weirdest fucking start to an NFL season that I.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
Killed us, man, and you're just looking at like going
back to the Bears game, they went three and out.
The Bears, first they punt to us, we're driving, and
then we're on the twenty five when he gets stripped.
I mean, if that doesn't happen, I say, that's a
different game. Yeah, they went because that kind of took

(41:04):
the wind out of the defense that just had the
Bears go three and out. You get the ball right
back and then a couple of big plays and then
before you know it, you know, we're playing catch up again.
But the good thing, the one good thing that's happening now,
and this is good for dak Okay, is we keep
playing from behind. You know what I mean, it's like,

(41:25):
that's what I was about. Playing against the Eagles. We
played from behind. Against the Packers, we were down, you know,
thirteen to two. We've been playing from behind a lot,
and that this is something he never really had when
I said, he never has to throw the team on
his back a lot of times when he's winning. Our
defense was playing really well and it was just like

(41:46):
it was an evenly paced game. You know, this is
happening more often than none, with teams jumping out in
front of us and him having to say, okay, So
he's getting used to our defense sucking that he has
to put the cape as you would say they.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
I mean, reporters are gonna be reporters, and they're always
gonna try to nitpick and try to really peel back
the curtains.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
And there was plenty of questions.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
To Dak yesterday in his postgame about like, are you
frustrated with the defense the fact that they can't, you know,
get off the field, And he's like, as long as
they hold themselves accountable, I don't you know, it doesn't
bother me. As long as they know they could look
themselves in the mirror and say, how can I get
better than the next play, and they had a lot
of that's quarterback speak and captain speak, right, But like yesterday,
they had a chance up sixteen thirteen and a half

(42:30):
and getting the ball if they would have done something
in that drive, that opening drive and maybe even even
a fucking field goal and go up nineteen thirteen, it
just feels different than like you're you're in control a
little bit. Imagine they score a touchdown and go up
twenty twenty, which we're called twenty three thirteen, and you're
up like ten now, two possessions.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
Right now, you're asking for your defense.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
Hey, looks, and I know if you have a blip
here or a blip there, we're still gonna be okay.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
We still get the ball.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Were but you just you gotta take advantage of these
of these opportune situations. And hopefully, like we were alluding
to before, hopefully these situations don't even have to present
themselves this week with the Jets. And again, I'm not
one to get confident with this group, specifically the defense.
So I think the Jets are going to score some points.

(43:15):
So let's move into some predictions with the Jets. The
Jets do have a decent defense. Right now, as we're
recording this, they are down twenty four to ten to
the Dolphins before they ended a third quarter. So they're
struggling today. They've struggled a little bit throughout the course
of the year. The Cowboys are coming off this. Now.
Keep in mind too, the NFL season is longer now
seventeen games, right, But think about it like this, first

(43:38):
four weeks of the season, every team, every team has
played sixteen quarters of football except for the Cowboys, who
have played eighteen. So like, whether you want to call
that experience or they're going to be a little winded
or or just a little bit more banged up or
whatever the case may be, they've.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
Played five full quarters in two games in three weeks.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
In three weeks, they've played fucking team fourteen quarters of football.
So there's a lot where and tread on the tires
that's gonna be worn off. But I'll start with you,
what do you think we're gonna do against the Jets?
How do you think this one's gonna play out? And
we'll go from there.

Speaker 4 (44:12):
You know, it's funny because I'm gonna I want to
look this up. I gotta look something up real quick
that I just it just dawned on me. I think
it was two thousand and nineteen.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
Let me see here, Jets, we just played them.

Speaker 4 (44:27):
No, no, no, no, that's on them. Uh the oh yeah,
yeah yeah, okay, no, that's the game. We beat them
in Texas. So yeah, so we played We played the
Jets at New York if you remember, and they beat
our ass. You were there, I'm sure with Sam Donald
was the quarterback. It was Sam Donald's first win.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
I believe, of course it was. Yeah, and yep.

Speaker 4 (44:48):
I'm looking at it. Now. Here's the crazy part. This
is fucking nuts and this is only this is this
psychopath here remembers shit like this. Okay, all right, when
when the Jets beat us in New York with Sam.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Darnold twenty nineteen, you said, right.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
Twenty nineteen, you'll never guess what their record.

Speaker 2 (45:08):
Was going in? Yeah, who the Cowboys or the Jets?
The Jets.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
The Jets record was definitely zero and four.

Speaker 4 (45:17):
Yeah, it's the same fucking thing, buddy, of course it is.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
Of course it is going in me. Oh man, this
you know this. I need the Jets. I need the
Jets to come back and win the night.

Speaker 4 (45:32):
Six years ago so you're looking at history repeating itself,
possibly by them getting.

Speaker 3 (45:38):
What was our record going in that, I'd.

Speaker 4 (45:40):
Have to look up. I'm gonna guess we were two
and two. Maybe I'm gonna gess, Yeah, twenty nineteen was
a let me see, I'll tell you right now.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
Trying to think of what year that was. It was
obviously before Dak got hurt in twenty twenty.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Twenty nineteen must have been. That's the year before Ceede
Lamb was drafted in twenty twenty. So it's probably a
Mary Cooper, Michael Gallop and company, and we were probably
two and two or something like that.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
But yeah, I think we're a two and two. But
regard I'll know, I'll tell you one thing, we'd have
a tie, so not gonna be the same record.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
All right, So what do you got? Who do you got?
You got the Cowboys winning this game or what?

Speaker 4 (46:15):
You know? It's all right, So it's funny. The game
I was most sure of we were gonna win so
far this season, where I'd say ninety eight percent chance
was the Bears.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
That's what I thought.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
Ninety eight two percent chance. We lose, ninety eight percent
chance we'd win against the Bears, and we got We
got embarrassed the game. I thought ninety eight percent chance
we were gonna lose two percent that maybe there was
a chance because of fumbles or whatever. It was the
Packer game, and I was wrong there. So this game
I look at almost like the Bears. So but I'm

(46:52):
not gonna say we're gonna there is no ninety eight
percent anymore.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
With this, I think you have to go into every
game fifty to fifty at at the minimum.

Speaker 4 (47:00):
So I think we win thirty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
Oof, all right, I got thirty twenty So I think, uh,
ten point win for the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
You got him with a four point win. The Cowboys are.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Coming in, I believe is one and a half point
favorites on the road a half Oh to it fu
fucking stop just stop, you know, just stopping right there?
No more movement in the line. I don't want to. Yeah,
the game kicks off, it's like, oh it's four and
a half. Now, it's like, oh my god, I see
us in control than losing it.

Speaker 4 (47:30):
And then maybe you know we are. We do score
touchdown at the end, the pull ahead say then it's
like and I could see it being like twenty three
to twenty right at fourth quarter. Then we score that
it's thirty to twenty years score, and then they get
a garbage touchdown at the end.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
I missed the extra point something yeah, something like that.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Well, listen, we both have the Cowboys winning this game
to get to two to two and one, which would
again phenomenal in comparison to what they could be right now.
But we'll see. Man, this is why they play the games,
and you know, hopefully that there's some adjustments. We got
to the injury reports coming out tomorrow. We'll figure out
who who's more banged up than who. As far as

(48:14):
the Jets injuries the Cowboys injuries, there's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Alloted to discuss throughout the week.
