Speaker 1 (00:12):
Yo, what's up everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Welcome to a brand new episode of Spill the Tea
Kayla here on the John Roga channel Don't run Away Wins.
Today Marshall is going to be joining me and Justin
Middie's had some technical difficulties that he's hashing out. When
he pops up on the screen, I will bring him
in to the show. So I am not alone for
this episode of Spilled the Tequila. So relax, everybody, relax.

(00:36):
We are going to be a twosome in just a
little bit. But thank you all so much for joining
us live. I'm a little blue today. Uh it's a
little weird how the lighting is going on. I changed
some new I put in some new I'm gonna say
it's new chords to try to get the best out
of my Sony's zve ten two. But I guess I've
got to work a little bit on the settings inside

(00:58):
the camera. It's a little bit of a better picture.
But you know, I'm here live on a Tuesday. It
is election day all over the country, well not all
over the country, but in certain areas of the country,
certainly Virginia, New Jersey, New Jersey, California. With a Prop
fifty thing that's going down. All kinds of mania has
been happening over the last few days. People putting all

(01:19):
kinds of offensive stuff up there to try to influence
your vote, threats, gangster crap from Trump up there in
the White House, and all kinds of madness that's going on.
We'll talk a little bit about that on the show today.
We're also going to get into this article from Variety
exploring how Paramount and David Allison are pretty much dialed
into going almost full maga with their content. Don't let

(01:42):
the John Stewart or South Park situations throw you off
the scent. It's very clear, at least reading this article,
in the reporting within this article in Variety, that this
is what's going down. And the other element of this,
which is fascinating too, is that they're creating, supposedly, according
to the they're creating a blacklist of creatives who they

(02:03):
consider to be anti Semitic, against their political points of views,
and homophobic.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
So the homophobic part I.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Can get behind in terms of, like, we don't want
people like that, we don't we want to call out
people like that. I got no issue with it. But
like this idea of creating a blacklist. Some of you
may not remember this, maybe some of your students of history,
but this feels very reminiscent of what happened with the
communists in the nineteen fifties in Hollywood. It's crazy that
we're repeating history by creating blacklists of people that are

(02:36):
considered one thing or another because of their political points
of views. And I know the right loves to crow
Hollywood pushed out people the great Thespians like Kevin Sorbo
and Dean Kine from opportunities while ignoring staunch Republicans like
Bruce Willis so Best, Arnold Swartzelinker, Patricia Heaton, so James Wood,

(02:57):
so many of them that have worked consistently.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
For decades in Hollywood.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
They want to create this idea that the right wing
has been, you know, biased against or prejudiced against because
of their points of views in liberal Hollywood, which was
never as liberal as they like to tell you that
it was, because there is always there's always been conservatives
and Republicans who are executives, who are heads of studios,
who are money people and producers and even creatives, as

(03:24):
I just named a few of them. Zachary Levi, a
guy who worked for quite a long time as a
conservative himself. So there have been quite a few that
have been able to carve themselves out, and it's because
they have fucking talent, and that's the difference.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
So this idea that.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Paramount is going to Paramount Picture is going to create
a blacklist, which I think is childish. Beyond it's a
fucking burn book for adults. It's so teenage childish that
it mean girls bullshit that it blows my mind that
that's what's happening. So we're going to get into some
of that as well. We're also going to talk about
We're also going to talk about stuff that has happened

(04:00):
in the world of entertainment.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
The Mummy is back.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
The Mummy will be returning here with Brendan Fraser and
Rachel Weiss, and I got into a text battle with
playful text battle with some of my friends because I said,
there's no way they don't talk to the Rock about
coming back as the Scorpion King, because Brendan Fraser and
Rachel Weiss are not necessarily putting butts in seats. So

(04:25):
we'll talk about all of that here on the show,
and of course your stream labs and super chats are
how you support the show, sending your love, sending you questions.
I'm opinion in the chat just a second, but without
further ado.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
With well over one hundred of.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Us watching us right now, let's welcome my co host
for Spill the Teequila the King Oswag himself, Winston Hey
Marshall A.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Meaning a sickness. What's going on there on today?

Speaker 3 (04:49):
You were pulling for that one? Yeah, No, I've been
dealing with this kind of stomach bug since Sunday night
early early Monday morning. And so those that you know
watch the Blurred Breakdown on Mondays know that I had
to cancel the show just because I have not been
super great. I am fine, It's that Yesterday was like

(05:12):
an all day thing. Nowaday, you know, every like three
or four hours, it feels like a xenomorpho is trying
to like pop up, so like it's not even like
me running to the bathroom. It's me like going to
lie down and take toms and like just give like
burp excessively to try and alleviate some pressure. Man, It's

(05:33):
it's pretty gnarly. It's not great.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
That's not good. That doesn't sound good at all.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
I do not wish this on anybody but Dick Cheney.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
No, oh Jesus, rest of days I think, Wow, I
would think on the Cowboys. But all right, I guess.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Well, look, man, I am baffled by why we are
you know, the season's over, and yet we're making trades
to try and do what we have, Like, I think
it's like a five percent chance at this point, after
that loss to Arizona to even make it. And I'm
also confused why we are, you know, trading away generational

(06:12):
like defensive end slash linebacker yea, to go get two
defensive end slash linebackers and picks that we were supposedly
gonna be using. You know, the picks are what's so
important to essentially turn them back over to go get
other players, like it just seems kind of stupid to me. Yeah,
there was a report about Jerry essentially saying seeing Micah

(06:37):
laying on that table, the training table in that last
preseason game, is what made him decide he wasn't going
to negotiate it anymore and he was done with Micah,
which is insane to me because, again, other than the
fact that he was slightly hurt in the scenario of
you refuse to pay him.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
So, but his argument was he was talking to Michael
Irving and DeMarcus Ware and he was like, you know,
in all my years, whenever I saw you, even we
had disagreements, I never saw y'all just lie on the
table in front of millions. You would never do something
like that. And then Michael did that. I just didn't
believe in his leadership anymore. And I'm just like, it's.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Like, are you are you kidding your again?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
That sounds like full on ego to me, because it's
not like he like he showed up at every practice.
He was still around for all that. He still showed
up on the iseline where you could have not even
done that, like get the f up out of here,
and now he's over here doing the lord's work for
the Packers, even though the Packers lost to the Panthers,
which is other conversation, but all that for sure.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, it's just that.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Yeah, So we're gonna get to all of that, and
we'll keep tabs on what's going on Winston.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
As I mentioned at the begin top of the show,
on It's a it's.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
An election day in a lot of areas of the country,
so we'll be monitoring that as we see the results
possibly coming in while we're on the air live, we'll
see our reactions to all of it. Donnie over there
and in New York, is he gonna win? What's gonna
happen with Mikey Cheryl in Jersey? We've got a Virginia
governor's election as well that's going down where apparently if

(08:10):
you're black, you're supposed to support the black candidate no
matter what. And then Prop fifty in Californation, the Republicans
have been saying that for the last couple of days,
the MAGA people have been saying that, like, hey, I
thought we were supposed to support the black women. Why
won't you support the black woman in Virginia? So it says,
of course, convenience of logic, and I have so many
things to say about that. But yeah, no for show,

(08:31):
for show, do we gotta do?

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, for sure?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
So yeah, But again, as I said, stream Lab super
chats are open, so we will please send in your
love and your questions and your thoughts of comment. I'm
gonna pin in the chat in just a second, but
let's start out with something a little bit lighter Winston
as we go in and that's the Mummy. The Mummy franchise.
This was announced earlier today. It is apparently coming back.
Universal Pictures is returning to one of its most beloved
action eventual franchises. Ben Frasier Rachel Weyce in discussions to

(08:59):
return for a new move Mummy movie, presumably reprising their
roles from the Studios Mummy films of the nineties and
two thousands.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
This is what Deadline is.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Reporting there through Matt Grobar, reps for Universal Pictures, however,
declined comment. Plot details for the new film are under apts,
but we hear radio silences. Matt Betonelli open and Tyler
Gillett will direct from a script by David Cogashell, who
did the Family Plan films and The Deliverance which I
did not see.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
And Sean Daniel will be back to produce this thing.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
And I was speculating at the top of this conversation
of the show, whins did I imagine the Rock might
be in conversations to come back, come back to play
a version of The Scorpion King with better CGI.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Now, So what are your thoughts on this? Do you
like the Mummy movies.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
And are excited that these guys will be coming back
clearly possibly ignoring the Mummy three and be coming back together.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
I mean, Brendan Fraser became like one of my favorite
actors at the time because of this franchise. Like I'm
trying to think of like some of his biggest films
in you know, man.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Uh school time. It was the big.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Thing that The Mummy was the one that really in
my opinion, most people would probably agree that like put
him on the map. It's not to say that his
other stuff wasn't big, but that was definitely like the
movie for him. I did that for a lot of people. So, yeah,
the Mummy. I also was a big fan of Dazzled. Yeah,

(10:26):
that one was so that one was hilarious Monkey Bone,
which was crazy. He had a lot of good stuff
and then obviously fell off the face of the planet
just because he had some like kind of horrible stuff
like kind of happened and whatnot, and then made a
huge comeback. Uh genuinely, no pun intended with like the
whale winning you know, an Oscar and then everything else.

(10:47):
It was really great to see him back. You know,
was a fan of him coming back in Doom Patrol
before that, you know, which was which was really cool too.
But I think it'd be great, man. I think that
they're both fantastic actors. I think those first two movies
were spot on. I don't really remember the Tomb of
the Dragon Emperor. I just remember jet Lee was in it,
and I loved jet Lee. But I feel like I

(11:08):
remember that movie being bad. I even would say that
The Mummy Returns was good until The Rock showed up.
And that's not on the Rock cause only he did
a bad acting job. I just was sold a bill
of lies because it's supposed to be like his first movie, right,
and I'm out here thinking, oh shit, the Rock comany whatever.
It was horrible CGI. It was just horrible CGI of

(11:29):
his face over like a man with a scorpion's body.
It was absolutely terrible. The rest of the movie is great,
but just that CGI was awful, to the point where
most of my comparison for The Flash and where its
problems were like, if The Mummy Returns, Scorpion King CGI

(11:50):
is better than the movie that you're making in twenty
and twenty three, like CGI. Wise, then we have a
problem because the CGI and The Flash at times looked
worse than that, and that was t bad. But all
that being said, I mean it's they are fun, fun movies,
man like that. They are the epitome of like the
kind of action adventure stuff you get into. You know,

(12:12):
it's what Brendan Fraser's brick O'Connell Ragelweiss is Evelyn, And
then obviously you had John Hannah as Jonathan the Brother,
which is larious, and then Arnold voslu is Emo Tep.
Who knows if they bring Emiltep back. I feel like
he was banished to hell forever in the end of
Scorpion King. We'll see if that's still the case or

(12:32):
if he finds a way out. But I'm here for it.
I am one thousand percent here for man. I think
that'll be a good time.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, I love this idea because I like the first
two movies, and yeah, I hear you on the second one.
Of course, the CGI with the Rock was pretty bad,
and the fact that they spun that off to be
its own installments, like there are multiple Mummy King movies,
by the way, not starring the Rock, where other people
have become the Mummy King. And the talent of acting

(12:59):
has decreased with everyone else installment, so it is what
it is. But The Mummy itself has always been a
beloved franchise for a lot of people, and so the
idea that they want to open the door to this
and bring it back, I think makes a lot of sense.
Brendan is, you know, an Oscar winner now for what
he did in The Whale. Rachel Weiss is someone who
has been respected in part of the Marvel universe recently

(13:20):
through the stuff with the Elena Bolova and the family
and the Red Room and all of that. So the
Black Widows, she's back kind of back in the news
as well, and he's got the Rental Family coming out
and a lot of people that can make it nominated
again for his work in that movie.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
So to me, this is I really want to see
that movie looks really good.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
It does, it does looks really touching, and so this
is the perfect time to make an announcement like this
and have them be in talks and look at what
they're going to do. And I think most people kind
of like every franchise has that one movie Rocky five People,
Batman and Robin, Like there's always that one movie in
a franchise. We're like, yeah, did that really happen. Let's
ignore that it really happened.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Let's move on.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
And I think Mummy three will be that offense to
Maria Bello or jet Lee, who are the new additions
to the to the franchise.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
But you know, nobody's going like, well, you've been right
here to this canon.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
They want to just jump from the second one into
the next one, and now's the time to strike while
the iron is hot. This the Rock could use a hit,
a big hit. So bring him to be a part
of this. I think it'd be a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Why. My only question is if the idea with this
is that, yeah, it will kind of came back in
the second one, but then that was it. The idea
was that he was banished and all that, Like where
do you bring the Scorpion King back? You know what
I'm saying, considering he's kind of gone, So that's not
it's not to knock him, but if you if that's
the case, without like giving the Rock like and he's

(14:42):
to feel some sort of way, I mean, why not
bring in another like major blockbuster star, like action star,
like maybe you know, if Batista is interested or if
scene is interested, or if like, if you want to
stick with the wrestler in general, I mean, if you're
trying to really see what Roman Reigns has got. He
did a fighter, maybe bring him in to play, to play,

(15:04):
because what's Romans? What's Roman's ethnicity? Polynesian?

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Yeah, he's like such because he's a cousin of the
uh a nephew of the Rock.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
So oh, he's a nephew of the Rock, nephew of
the Rock. But then that, but then that and of itself.
That might be a way in which you do it
if maybe somehow Roman's character is related to the Scorpion King.
Maybe in a flashback the Rock is like same thing.
It's like nephew, no uncle talking to nephew or some ship.
You could do something like that. That might be sort
of interesting to to if you really want to draw
that connection. Yeah, but I but yeah, the only my

(15:37):
only question obviously, Rachel just did a Black Widow and
not too long ago further back, is Brendan going to
be able to get back into kind of action shape
like that? Because the one thing that I will genuinely say,
while I enjoyed these last two bad boys, films m
it was very clear that Martin Lawrence, whatever health issues

(15:58):
he had been dealing with, yeah, was really not the
same guy that he was at the peak of his career,
especially when it comes to any sort of action stuff.
The third one he was a little bit better than
the fourth, but then the fourth I found myself be like,
I enjoyed the film a lot, but I found myself
turned off by a lot of it because it was
very clear since he couldn't do it, they were just

(16:19):
kind of going with a lot of like gimmicky stuff,
you know what I mean. So that would be my
only concern. Brendan's acting chops are as good as they've
ever been, But is he able to and willing to
truly get back into that action genre shape or does
he have to shift? Does he become you know, the
guy in the chair now for the new hero and

(16:40):
which they try to do with the Bad Boys franchise
with Will's like illegitimate son in the movie, and are
we going to gravitate towards that, like do you need
to almost set up similar to a top gun Maverick
of bringing in you know Powell and and oh my god,
what why can I not remember his name? What is
lamar odim No no, no, no, no white boy that

(17:03):
played Rooster oh Logan Luhrman. Thank you, Miles Teller. So
do you need to bring in a similar type of
Miles Teller Glenn Powell kind of handoff or even though
F one wasn't a sequel, like you kind of set
it up that Dameson is the heir to Brad Pitt's character.
Do you need to do something similar? Like is the

(17:24):
sun that they had in the second movies he grown now?
And do you have him become the main thing and
dad is giving advice from behind.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. I think that's a
very real possibility. It becomes a family affair. That's how
you get people back into the franchise where it's the
son and the mom and dad and probably the son
who is like not wanting to be a part of
this and they gets dragged into this or vice versa.
The son is the one who wants to go on
this adventure, but the parents are a little tired. They've
been through all the stuff. Do they want to open

(17:53):
the door to this all over again? And as you said,
are they in shape to be able to handle. So
you could play a meta of approach to the storyline
that fits with where they're at actually as human beings
and is in the shape that they're in. So it
could be a lot of fun to export that way.
And you bring John Hannah in, and you bring Odeed Farren,
who's been working still consistently, was in Star Trek Discovery

(18:13):
the last few seasons, so this is an actor who's
still very much a part of still consistently working. I
don't know where Hannah is now, but I'm sure John
has been working as well, and so there's a number
of actors you can still bring back to part.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
I don't know if arnoldvasslu is necessary.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Someone you bring back, maybe someone who looks like Arnoldvassleu,
so a new motep or another god that they'd have
to confront I think could be interesting. But either way,
this is something that I think people should be really
excited about and happy about it, and hopefully with radio silences.
I like the stuff they've done with radio or not
other things, and I even like those two for the
most part, I like the last two screen movies. I

(18:49):
think they're a great choice to come in and try
to revitalize this franchise and have some fun with it.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
You know, especially knowing that their specifically their speciality is horror. Yes,
you what I would argue, you got to make sure
because what people drew into this sure could be a
little scary at times. It was more the action element
of it, the action adventure. So I don't want them
to go full tilt horror. I think that that would
be an affront to what the movies were. But it

(19:17):
doesn't mean that having that element isn't a good thing
going into this since it's technically supposed to be in
a haunted sort of bass here that you're going with
right right?

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Well, anything more you want to say on this, anything
more that's that you want to make sure we touch
on as you hear the news, and any thoughts on
radio silence overall, besides what you just mentioned, their horror
aspects of anything else that you would excite you about
all this?

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Or are you just kind of in a good place
to enjoy these first two?

Speaker 3 (19:44):
You trying to bring Rachel Weiss's fine ass back to it,
because I know she wasn't in the third one. I'm
I'm all here.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
For bro I'm a thousand percent here for who who
was the Latina? And the second one Maria Bello. No, no,
that was the third one. The third one, yeah, who's
the woman that she fights? The second one, that's when
with oh.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
A Oxida Moon? Who played in Oxida Moon? Hold on,
uh back, this is the temple? It was. Nope, that's
the kid that was in Is that right something? So
hold on, hold on? It was and A. Oxna Moon
was played by Patricia Velasquez Alaskaz.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yes she was.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Oh yeah, she was finn at hell. Bro. That was
the only thing I wish. I guess she's still been acting.
She's just been in like various little things. I haven't
seen anything maybe that big from her.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
She was in the Curse of Malignant recently the last
few years, and then a couple of things that weren't
that well known, so she still wasn't a.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Couple of couple of random episodes of stuff here and there,
Like I do remember her being in the one episode
of Ugly Betty because I remember being like, oh, yeah,
on ass is back, bro, Yes, oh bro. She was
also Martha in uh Arrested Development. Oh yeah that job
and and and Michael were obsessed with and they kept
being like.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Oh she's what's some man named Ermano.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
I'm gonna find him. I'm gonna kick his ass, and
both of them, just being real stupid, had no idea
that Armano means brothers. And the whole time she was like,
I'm in love with Armano and like, I'm in love
with your brothers. It was a very funny bit. She
was finding that too, man, so you know, but again
she's off the hell too. I don't know, I got
how do you how you gonna just bring her back?

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yeah, you gotta figure out what to do with that.
So it's gonna be fun to see. Uh as well, Well,
I got another story that just popped up here, Winston.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
I just I didn't send it you on the rundown.
But I want to go way, way way away.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Before we do that. I'm just still on her IMDb. Bro.
I wish she in a movie, a horror anthology called
Satanic Hispanics.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Satanic his Panics why, because she's gotta work, That's why
it is fair.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
I just that's a wild name for a movie.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
APIs when police break into a house in al Passo,
they find it filled with latinos and a loan survivor
known as El Viajero. He has taken to the police
station for question. Of course, l viochto means the Journeyman
so interesting. Greg Grunberg is in this bro It has
an eighty nine percent on rod Tomatoes.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Bullshit, bullshit, there's no way hold on. I gotta see
this for myself.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Alejandrow Brugues, Mike Mendez, Damien Rugna, one of the Sanchez
Gigi sal Gereto are the directors of the piece.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
It's almost like VHS. I think it's a both. It's
a bunch of stories that are directed by different people.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, The Traveler, Tamine Lovi, elvan Piro, Uhnahuelas and The.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Hammer of Zanzibar so different different eighty.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Nine percent on Rotten Tomatoes fifty one percent. Though from
the audience they were like, nah, bro, I messing with this. God.
They all probably work for Ice, because if if all
of these reviews they're like, nah, man, it's good, they
they must be. They must be asshole.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
No me, gusta no, but let me ask you about
this man.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
This apparently popped up.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Apparently Arnold Schwarzenegger is in talks to return as Dutch
in a Predator sequel. This is according to producer Fred
Rosenblatt that apparently has already met multiple times with the
Dan Trachtenberg to explore the possibility. I saw Predator bad
Lands last night. Go great film, so much fun. Highly recommended.
Go see it guys this weekend on My review will

(23:34):
be out tomorrow my hospital review. But this is what
Fred Rosenblat said. Obviously, the holy grail of Predator movies
would be getting Arnol Beck in there. It's always been
in the back of our minds that it would be
amazing to see him return of the franchise that he
made iconic and that in turn has made him iconic.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
So, Winston, do you like this idea of.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Schwarzenegger maybe coming back, because I mean, some of his
returns in the Terminator series have not been that great.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
So here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
This is a much easier thing to do if you're
not at the center of a bunch of action. He's
just gotten pretty old, he doesn't have that physique, he's
not doing all that kind of stuff like that. So again,
unless you really want to be cheeky and like get
his son in there and and the idea is like

(24:23):
maybe father passing on to son, or the son is
avenging him or something, because his son's a pretty decent actor.
I just but he's also he ain't no action star
the way his dad is. He ain't Jack like that.
He's not like he's good as Golden Boy. I'll give
him credit, but he is not his dad, not like that.
I think he's actually a little bit of a better

(24:45):
actor because Arnold was just like a good action star.
I would never I would never turn around and go
Arnold like he'd be active pass off. Ain't nobody ever
said that, but but he was. He was the ultimate
action star. If maybe you want to bring a little
more of the subtle acting element to it, I will
give the Sun credit for that. But but nah, man,

(25:05):
I don't necessarily need him back in it other than maybe,
uh you know, yeah, I I thought terrible, didn't mud like,
just unless you do some shit like that, I don't,
I don't. I don't know, man.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
I think it'd be interesting because a uh a lot
of people thought he would come back for Predators, that
film from a few years ago. It was Laurence Fishburn
who essentially played the role that was that Schwarzenegger was
going to play, which is the fact that he's stuck
on this planet and he is revered by the predators,
but he hunts the predators for the rest of his life.
It could be interesting to have him come back in

(25:41):
depending on how where you want to take this franchise.
Because judging from the film Last Night, which as I said,
I thoroughly enjoyed, Dan Schrachteberg is three for three with Prey,
Killer of Killers, that animated series, and then this this
film Predator bad Land. So I think now is the
time that Schwarzenegger would come back because the franchise has
been revitalized, whereas with Terminator, I think there's a sense

(26:01):
of like, well, I owe James Cameron, so I go
and you know, show up in these films and they
haven't been that great. Although I did like Dark Fate
even though a lot of people didn't like Dark Fate,
this is a different situation where don't necessarily owe Shane
Black anything. So that's why I haven't come back to
reprise the role of Dutch. Well, now that you've righted
the ship on this franchise and you're doing some really
interesting inventive stuff, this is a good time for me

(26:24):
to come back artistically and see what we can create
around my appearance coming back in this.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
So I just trust Rand to bring him back in
the right way if he does do it, you.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
Know, Yeah, I just but that's my thing. Yeah, the
last thing I need is just for the sake of
saying we got Arnold to come back. I don't need
this to be like what Jurassic World before Rebirth whatever
the last one was, Oh yeah, because that was that
was just tongue in cheek. Let's shove all of the
stars that made the franchise famous into this and see
what happens. The movie was awful, Yes, So like I

(26:54):
don't necessarily need that to have, Like, I'm okay if
we don't do that, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Right, Just a quick update, the polls close.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
The next poles that are closing closed in twenty seven
minutes and fifty one seconds.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Right now. In Virginia, Abigail's.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Span Berger is ahead with only ten percent of the
vote that has come in. She's ahead of Winsome Earl Sears.
What else are we looking at? And there's a new
Jersey company Mike show that no things have come in
the Momdannie situation. No numbers have come in yet according
to CNN.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
And is there anything else?

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Yeah, Prop fifty right now, no numbers have come in,
so as I said, we'll monitor them, give you a
final totals before.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
We wrap up tonight.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
But Winston, speaking of political stuff, let's move on to
this situation with Paramount and what's going on with David Allison.
There was a pretty extensive article that was dropped by
one of my favorite writers currently working at Variety, Tatiana Siegal,
Brent Lang and Matt Donnelly, and they broke down stuff
that is going on here at Paramount. It's a pretty

(27:56):
big cover story. They talk about the ridiculous UFC five
that is happening on the White House lawn. They also
dive into stuff with Star Trek, they dive into stuff
with Scream. But some of the stuff they dive into,
which is really unsettling, is that it looks like they
According to the article here, that Paramount executives have been
outspoken about their stance on the conflict in Gaza, and

(28:18):
this past September, the company became the first major Hollywood
to public reject a high profile letter signed by stars
like Jabia bardem Emma Stone, Juaking Phoenix, and Mark Ruffalo
that urge a cultural boycott of Israeli film institutions and
that accuser engaging in genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. Of course,
that's their opinions on this whole thing. We're not taking
sides here, or I'm not. At least sources tell Variety

(28:40):
that it has gone as far as Paramount creating a
sort of blacklist of talent the studio will not work
with because they are deemed to be quote overly anti
Semitic as well as xenophobic and homophobic. Whether these actors
who signed or these creatives that signed that list, signed
that boycott or on the list is unclear, but it

(29:02):
seems pretty clear that these are the people that would
be affected. Twelve hundred people signed that a creative sign
that boycott here. So Furthermore, of Rity claims that Elison's
goal is to turn Paramount into quote MAGA friendly environment,
with content in the TV and movie divisions expected to
be more quote America centric, whether the fuck that means
and geared towards the middle of the country. So interesting

(29:26):
stuff here because we also heard that John Stewart got
renewed for another year. We know that South Park got
that billions of dollars, so.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I have so much money. You're I mean for doing
the easiest animation.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Did you see the recent episode? I did not see
the reason, bro. They this time they go fully at
Pambondi and that shit is hilarious, where like they're like, oh,
there's a ghost haunting the president and it's Malania because
Donald has been has been effing Satan and it's about
to have a baby with Satan. The ghost of Malannia,
even though she's alive, she's just like haunting Trump everywhere

(30:02):
and every time it has those oh Pam, Pam, you've
got a little shit on your nose. The idea is
because every time she does she has said something just
fully kissing the president's ass like it's just it was
really good. But what do you? What are you?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
What are your thoughts on this? Man?

Speaker 2 (30:17):
As you hear this and you know they're trying to
buy Warner Brothers as well, and make it very clear
in this article that they will not be stopped from
buying Warner Brothers, what's your thoughts on all this?

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Man? I mean the same issue that I've had across
the board this idea of them owning as many different
studios and ips and whatnot, but then actively in your layoffs,
and we and we saw this, especially when you brought
Barry Weiss in with her ass.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, this idea.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Of oh, we're done with that diversity shit. You know,
a vast majority of the people that were fired from
like the kind of the CBS News were black you.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Got rid of of.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Gail Kale is one of the premier journalists that we
like and and and like hosts that we have seen.
And the idea of you bounce her immediately as soon
as you started doing that is insane to me. That
is generally up there with deciding to fire Oprah. Oprah's
just bigger than that kind of stuff. At this point.

(31:17):
It is asinine. But like, I don't have an issue
because I think everybody deserves to have like art or
media that speaks to them. I don't have an issue
with the idea of having more kind of conservative whatever programming,
but the idea of taking two major studios, forcing them

(31:40):
together and then eliminating what one of them, and Warner
Brothers more so than Paramount did a lot of like
more diverse like stories and things like that is absolutely insane.
That is that is insane. And if you want to
prove that you actually give a shit about all Americans
and all all consumers and not just this base you

(32:02):
want to cowtow to, you don't do that shit. You
let everything go, because look at what Paramount was doing before.
You still had your what like nineteen twenty seven Tulsa King,
like all sorts of shows, Jesus, all of CSI shit.
I even enjoyed watching Swat, which had moments of being

(32:24):
so sort of liberal but really was mainly just a
another just cops show. You threw a couple of black
people with couple with gay people in there. That was
enough to be like, hey man, look we did a
diversity thing, but but cops. You know what I'm saying.
So like you, you you had plenty if you want
to let alone the shows that did Gangbusters, Big Bang Theory,

(32:44):
Young Sheldon, all that shit that all speaks to a
conservative base. So I don't understand this idea that you know, no,
we got shut, we gotta shut all this liberal shit
that we've done, and like that is you want to
prove to me that you're not setting up an authoritarian regime,
then you don't do shit like this, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Yeah, yeah, And you know, and I trust the writers
over their variety Tatiana Siege and others, that they've done
some really great investigative work in the past, and so
I take a lot of this with more than a
grain of salt. I think there's a lot of truth
to what they're saying here. It's something I said on
the Hot Mic with Jeff, which Jeff and I battled over,
that Trump was absolutely gonna put his finger on the
scale of media. He understands the power of media to

(33:27):
affect people's points of views. Larry Ellison being a massive
Trump sickophant, you know him and his dad, Him and
David rather Son, they put this whole thing together and
now they bought Paramount and.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
They're gonna go. And I agree with you, Winston.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
If you watch CVS, there's a lot of already maga
content on CBS. For God's sake, So Blue Bloods was
so Maggiet was insane. I watched George and Mandy's First
I love that show. It's such a fun little comedy,
throwaway comedy, but it is very much Middle America. So
there's already a lot of stuff that they've done that's
very Middle America. Most of their stuff is now quietly

(34:02):
being led by white people. Even something is somewhat liberal
as Elsbeth is a white woman in the lead of
that show, and they got rid of her black co
host or black friend that got rid of her at
the end of last season. Now it's just her with
a bunch of different people that she's paired up with.
So there's little things that are going on. You're like, well,
how much more maggo do you need to be?

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I mean, it's not to be honest with you.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Yeah, there's so many things that I could speak on
that I'm gonna be real quiet about because I have
to be. But just off of what you said, like
I know things. My point is this, I am not
surprised by it. But imagine the idea of a world
like Star Trek, Yeah, which was mentioned when the article
is which is one of the most liberal, diverse things

(34:49):
that ever happened, the first interracial kiss. Like every single
thing that you have seen in a lot of modern
pop culture and the way that we've been like kind
of spawned from start and I don't even f wood
Trek like that, but but I give it its props
where it's due. It terrifies me to think that they
have that kind of in their hands, that they have

(35:11):
Nickelodeon in their hands. So then you're also manipulating what
kids are going to be watching, one right or the other.
Like there's there is so much And again if you
absorb Warner as well, now you've got your hands an
HBO cartoon network, DC, so many other things.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
And again.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
You have seen they have made it clear that their
goal is to ice out non white, straight Christian conservative everything.
It was already the case, like if for those that
don't know, the CW is actually a cod network run
by CBS and Warner Brothers. That's that's essentially what CW
stands for. But CBS really had the more controlling stake

(35:57):
on all of that. So that's why you were able
from the warners to have the aero verse and use
DC properties over at the CW, but it was being
run by CBS. Remember Supergirls started on CBS is a CW,
just so you can kind of see where that connection is.
They already did that with the CW with this idea
of trying to trim back on stuff. Look at they
didn't just get rid of, you know, the Aero Verse.

(36:20):
Everything that was very like kind of diverse or anything
else like that got axed. Even if the shows were
doing well. That the only one that they kept and
is now coming to an end, because I just believe
it's it's just an end of its run. Was all
American because they couldn't deny the numbers. So in the
same way that they couldn't even if they hate South
Park for what they're saying about Trump, they know better
than to go. Dude. This has been an unlimited cash

(36:44):
cow for this company since like the early nineties. We
can't if it's still going and they want to keep
doing it, we kind of have to keep it. Who
don't like what they're saying, they know better than to
do that.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
So, like I am.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Worried just because you're not talking about word trying to
expand and make things better and take things to the
next level. It's we're gonna take my daddy's AI over
at Oracle because that's where they get their fucking money from.
We're gonna really build AI into it, and we're gonna
get rid of all this shit that isn't MAGA. They
have more or less said exactly that. And then if

(37:18):
you look at this the just to see how shitty
even the news has gotten. Yeah, that sixty minutes interview
was the most softball bullshit.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Oh y.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
And that was a mix of sky Dance and Barry
Weiss clearly being like, nah, you're good. Whatever you want,
like you can ask the we'll ask you the softball.
We didn't push back a lot of shit they didn't
push back on, so I guess.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
And they edited out just the exact thing that Trump
lost his mind over, ensued CBS for the editing of
the Kala Harris interview. They edited out and you see
MAGA already with their pretzel logic going like or some
of the MAGA people saying, well, that was for an
election year. This is a different interview. Shut the fuck up.
It's the same thing. Stop being ridiculous. Editing is editing.

(38:00):
And it was a stupid lawsuit to begin with, and
they only paid it because they wanted to have the
pair of the purchase of Paramount go through. Shara Reds
don't wanted to pack her pockets with money, and it
went through in that direction, and so they got what
they wanted. And now they put this interview out there,
and already it came out the stuff that they edited
out showed him to be an utter nutball in his

(38:22):
response to stuff. Some of the transcripts have been released
of the stuff they edited out, and that shows you
this is an edited interview. The same thing he was
a bitching about. He did the exact same thing, and
it's nonsense.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
And even the edited part.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Still made him look ridiculous with some of those responses,
especially the Bitcoin response, not knowing who the hell he pardoned,
we're supposed to believe that nonsense.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
It's just crazy what they're doing now. Yeah, lies upon
lives on lies.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
And what's sad about it, man, is just the number
of stuff that they now own. So yeah, Paramount's guide
at Studios. So the Paramount Motion Picture Group includes Paramount Pictures,
Paramount Animation, Paramount Players, Nickelodeon Movies are all out that label,
as well as Skuidance Animation, Republic Pictures, Miramax, and a
fifty percent stake in United International Pictures. They own the

(39:12):
Paramount Television Studios, Paramount Experiences, the Paramount Skuidance Direct to
Consumer Is, Paramount Plus, Pluto TV, Sky, Showtime, CBS News
twenty four to seven, CBS Sports, HQ, and Fubo TV,
and then the TV the Paramounts Guidance TVA Media is

(39:33):
CBS Entertainment overseas as well as overseas CBS, CBS Studio,
CBS Media Ventures, CBS News and CBS Sports with a
twelve point five percent ownership stake in the CW. Along
with the Warner Brothers Television Group, a unit of Warner
Brothers Discovery, they own BT Media Group, so b ET
Paramount Media Network, So that includes MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central,

(39:56):
TV Land, Paramount Network, Logo, CMT, Pop TV, Showtime, Movie Channel, Flicks,
VH one in the Smithsonian Channel, as well as Paramount
International Networks. So like you already own a shit, tony
and again for the sake of keeping jobs, for the
sake of keeping a variety of voices, you don't need

(40:17):
to then turn around and shove the CNN, HBO all
that shit in there as well. Yeah, and then now
you've got like the number of things I have known
for the last year or so of friends of color,
queer folk, et cetera that are writers, actors, whatever, being
straight up told nah, we're not really doing that. DEI shit,

(40:37):
no more like sorry, your show's not happening, or no,
that movie's not gonna be greenlit whatever whatever, like this
is no joke, and this is this is this is bad,
this is really really bad.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Absolutely, they're gonna be fridging out a lot of people
of color and those story LGBTQ plus as well, all
those storylines and the only one they're gonna keep, they're
gonna keep like tokens.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Oh, look, we're not.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Racist, We've got this, We've got to all American. We're
not we're not against, we're not solely Trump. Look we've
got John Stewart, we've got South Park. Those will be
like little things that they can use as tokens to
push back on criticism when ninety five percent of their
other stuff is going to absolutely align with MAGA and
what they call America centric, whatever the fuck that means

(41:26):
when you look at the because America is full of diversity,
has been since the beginning.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
A lot of the white people now.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Who are crying about racism or sorry, crying about the
white person getting an unfair deal or getting with like
they came from immigrants who came to this country and
suffered through the being immigrants' country as well, whether it
be the Irish or the Italians or whoever. And now
they're the ones who are here going like no d
I remember meanwhile, space was made for your immigrant ancestors

(41:54):
to come here. I mean Tommy Lauren And that's one
of the most famous ones when she got called out
about her grandfather being an immigrant, not doing the things
that he was supposed to do in order to stay
in the country, and still got to stay in the country.
So there's a lot of hypocrisy when it comes to
that shit. And so you see these terms patriot America first,
America centric the middle of the country, as if there

(42:16):
aren't liberals in the middle of the country. Gelgabetika was
in the middle of the country. People who are purple
in the middle of the country, who are red and blue,
like there's so much So there's these stereotypes that they're
trading in that are bullshit.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
And again we go back to the beginning conversation.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
CBS is already leaning that way for years, you know,
and so this idea that they're going to do that
even more. I think is just utterly ridiculous, and that
just opens the door for more opportunity, I think in
other areas of other places because you cry about Dei.
But look, Sinners is one of the biggest films of
the year. K Pop Demon Hunters is one of the

(42:54):
biggest of the year. There are so x n ninety
seven seas.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
And one was amazing.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
There's so many examples of stuff that is diverse and
led by people called it, lead by women that are
ultimately very successful, and there's a crap ton of examples
of shitty stuff led by white men and women that
sucks ass. So this idea that somehow it's DEI ruining things,
it is a utter false narrative that has been pushed

(43:18):
out there by people who are trying to grips on.
So let's see Sinners.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
Let's see F one, which you know with Jameson being
the you know, the very close number two on that
one one battle after another. Let's see the long Walk. Yeah,
you know, I did you see Good Fortune? I've not
seen that one yet, dude. I loved Good Fortune. I

(43:45):
haven't done it. I saw it last night, so I'm
a little late to the game, but I'll do probably
a review a little bit later, but yeah, you mentioned it.
What twenty K Pop Demon Hunters? Yep, a lot of
people did, like twenty eight years later. I haven't s
so I don't. I don't know one way or the other.
What else what Predator bad Lands? A lot of people

(44:06):
are saying, you said you liked it and it's a
fun movie. Like, there's plenty of stuff with with people
of color or non straight whites at the at the
either the helm or starring or whatever that are fantastic.
So this idea of minimizing these stories is not a
good thing because what drives me crazy whenever you hear this.

(44:30):
And I'll never forget some of the complaints that were
happening with some previous WJA elections where you would have
these old white men writers that like have clearly never
been talented enough to actually get to where they want
to go. They've maybe written on one thing, but then
that there's a reason why they're not getting invited back

(44:50):
if a friend wasn't bringing him up, or just there's
just so many other there's just no jobs for me, bitch.
If you looked at the numbers, the number of writers
were still eighty five percent straight white males.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Yeah, it just.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Wasn't at a ninety five percent clip where you had
an additional like that. It seems like there was a
bajillion shows of black folk and everything else and and
latinos and but but that's just simply not true. And
and so like when you just look at numbers, it's
enough to go, oh shit, okay, maybe maybe damn. That's

(45:28):
that's the part that gets me every single time, is
this idea that like this false narrative of white men
really were screwed. That's not that's not the case. But
that is the bill of goods they've been sold and
they believe it, and that's all it takes.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah, and Karen doesn't Karen brought up something really great point.
Wicked's about to come out. That's a great point. Is
another one's very much an you know, uh in a
racial in terms of the fact that you've got Ariana
Grande and Cinerival leading this thing, and the bow and Yang,
you've got Michelle Yo. If you've got the storylines here
that function and work, the LGBTQ plus kind of cover

(46:09):
amongst all this, the racism, cover all this. There's so
much here and it's going to be one of the
biggest movies of the year. That's the frustrating thing to me.
When I sit and watch the entertainment, I was like,
the country didn't all of a sudden turn into this
white nationalist parade.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
This is the lie that they're pushing out.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
There is clearly you see from the way people are
coming to see good diverse content. This is really important,
good diverse content.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
That's me good with that.

Speaker 2 (46:36):
There is clearly not an issue for people to watch
or go see these movies that are diverse. And so
again I go back to the situation of why people
are going to come in and do all these things
that they're gonna do. Right, great, go do it, awesome.
But I want the same fucking energy when your white
lead shows.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Eat a dick, when your movies crash and burn.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
I want that same energy where we start to question
should we be having white led TV shows, should be
having white led movies. Let's have that conversation, just like
you're having a conversation about DEI, and we can make
YouTube channels where we can say, man, you know what
happened these studios?

Speaker 1 (47:13):
They went all white and all this shit. When we
need to stop all white. We need to stop it,
and we.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
Can make some money grifted off that bullshit as well,
you know, amen, two sec a chore. Yeah, yeah, So
we'll see how to because we could have Sinners versus
one battle after another for Best Picture of the year,
you know, and we could have K Pop Demon Hunters
win the best Animated Film of the year.

Speaker 1 (47:35):
And so there's so much when you look at these
situations that.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
I think are are very powerful and we'll see how
much of this goes forward. But the idea of a blacklist, bro,
I just I can't. I can't, but it gives me
the willies on so many levels because that's exclusionary and
that's dangerous because you start writing lists, you start creating racism,
we start creating otherness, and that you start dehumanizing people

(47:59):
because of their.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
Yeah, and there's they're like, like you said, and out
of respect for the show, like I'm not going to
dive into it here, but like I there there have
been a lot of things that have been said over
the last couple of years and a lot of preconceived
notions about things that are just not accurate, and I
think to not have an honest conversation about what is
actually being said and being able to look at it

(48:23):
on its face is where we end up in trouble
because I think even when we look back at what
happened with Kimmel, what Kimmel actually said was not offensive.
It was the truth. But she decided to twist the
words to make it seem like he was saying something
far more nefarious. And that is a problem because there
are people that are talking in particular way that's not

(48:45):
okay then that. I'll have that conversation with you all day,
but don't make shit up.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Yeah, yeah, especially when you're gonna be out there caressing
other men's heads in your hands at public functions.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
And it gets a real, real weird when you see
that kind of stuff. So we will see, we will
see for sure. All let's leave the world of paramount.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
Let's get into because once we're almost at an hour
on the show, we got to get to the NFL
stuff week nine. But let's talk Well, let's talk about
the the NFL stuff as the scores, Yeah, what stood out,
and then we'll talk about the trade stuff that happened today,
straight deadline stuff that today.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
Ravens started off the week Thursday by beating the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
Story at the six.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
The Bears outlast the Bengals in a crazy game. The
Vikings beat the Lions behind JJ McCarthy coming back in
this third professional start let that sink in. The Panthers
shock the Packers, as you mentioned in Green Bay, the
Chargers beat the Titans. The Falcons lost to the Pages
by one point. The forty nine Ers handled the Giants.
The Steelers, as we were saying, Winston proved that the

(49:49):
Colts ain't as strong as we thought by beating them
twenty seven to twenty. The Broncos came back and beat
the Texans. The Jaguars squeaked by the Raiders by one point.
The Rams crushed the Saints. The bill surprised the kids
by beating them in Buffalo, and a lot of people.
Xeox crushed my Commanders and we lost Jayden Daniels probably
for the season. And then the Cardinals shocked your Cowboys
last night twenty seven to seventeen. So what stood out

(50:11):
from all these games by the man, or what do
you want to talk about?

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Uh, the Ravens will probably go on a tear and
might actually end up winning the division, which is crazy.
That's crazy. The Bears fans should be worried. There's no
read like shout out to Joe Flaccos thirty one to
forty seven for four to seventy of four hitties. Like, Bro,
this forty year old is out here just playing backyard
football with his boys. That's what it feels like. It

(50:36):
feels like he's just out here with his nephews just
being like, oh yeah, oh great catch, buddy, like balling.
So like it's sad they lost, but like, good on him.
See if JJ's got the stuff all the way through
the Panthers, I guess you gotta put some respect on
their name and for being honest, like yeah, what the hell?
Like mcdonnald won thirty two touchdowns, The Chargers should have

(50:59):
won that game. So it's crazy it got that close.
The Patriots are the real deal. They'll probably I'm gonna
predict they're gonna end up with the one seed at
this point. Man, the way that they're playing and what
their schedule looks like, I think they'll end up with
the one seed. Niners, you know, Ban Bank Niner gang,
Like they just got to keep holding on though they've

(51:19):
got a lot of heavy I think that the most
dangerous team in that division is the Seahawks, closely followed
by the Rams. I definitely think that the Niners, despite record,
are the third team in that division right now. Yep,
you know, I actually do have one more loss, but
because the other teams have had buys and they haven't. Yeah,

(51:41):
I want to specifically talk about because screw the Cowboys.
You know, I'm not surprised Josh Allen always beats Patrick
Mahomes in the regular season. It's let's see what happens
in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
OK.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
I just want to talk about this Colts thing that
I had been saying from jump man, Yes, go ahead.
What did There's two things that they did. The first
was the major threat yes with the Cults is Jonathan Taylor.
So you held Jonathan Taylor to fourteen carries and forty
five yards. That is the worst game he has had

(52:12):
all season, averaging three point two yards. So once you
did that and they realized they couldn't do anything on
the ground, you let Daniel Jones throw the ball fifty times.
He threw for three forty two in a touchdown, but
three interceptions. He had a thirteen QBR. I have said
this over and over and over again, and people thought

(52:33):
I was just being a hater. Yeah, Daniel Jones when
he has a running back that is going off, looks
like he is Aaron Rodgers. They were jokingly calling him
instead of Michael and Mike Vick. They were calling him
White Vic's that is what they were calling him. Let
me tell you something, Daniel Jones and got it like that, bro,

(52:54):
He just happened to have an elite running back that
was taking the pressure off. They have to put eight
in the box. It's much easier to throw to whoever
you want to throw to. Well, the minute you took
Jonathan Taylor out of the game, could Daniel Jones put
the team on his back? No, like I said, And
this isn't even against a team that's that good. Aaron
is doing what he needs to do to keep the
team afloat. The defense is doing decently well, but the

(53:16):
Steelers have looked shaky even at five and three record themselves.
So now what do you do if you're the Colts
with your next you gotta deal with the Falcons, whose
defense did show back up. Even though they lost to
the Patriots, they did show back up and do what
they needed to do and now you gotta do that
overseas this coming weekend. Then you gotta come and play
the Chiefs, who, even though they lost to the Bills,

(53:37):
they genuinely the Chiefs are in like rare form right now.
Then you gotta face the Texans, whose defense is their
main strong point of the team. You gotta deal with
the Jags that are rolling. You gotta deal with the Seahawks,
who we just said are incredibly dangerous. You gotta deal
with the Niners who are handling business. You gotta do
with the Jacks again, and the Texas again. They are
on death row essentially going forward. I have a feeling

(53:59):
that the colt are gonna go from they run in
the AFC to barely making the playoffs by the time
this all said and done. They're not winning a multitude
of these games, especially now that the word is out.
What was it in the pendenitate get on the horn
and tell everybody how to defeat him. But you know
how to beat the Colts. Now, take out Jonathan Taylor
Daniel Jones into a ship to you.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Yeah, yeah, I don't disagree with you, and I thought
of you the whole time as I was watching those
scores come in like this the game on Red Zone.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
I'm like, WinCE is absolutely right.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Daniel Jones getting found out because I was kind of
cheering for Daniel is kind of undogs AND's like, all right,
shut them haters up, take care of the Steelers. And
the Steelers took care of Daniel Jones. As you said,
they shut that, they figured it out. And as Mike
Tomlin said afterwards, we we uh we we we what.

Speaker 3 (54:46):
Do you say?

Speaker 1 (54:46):
We we delayed the runner or we held the runner?

Speaker 2 (54:49):
We kept we kept the runner at a certain basically
saying that John if you can control Jonathan Taylor, you
can control that that offense. And like, it's not like
the Steelers were that great of a defense coming into
the game either, so they were able to figure out
the formula.

Speaker 1 (55:01):
And now I think, what is it that the Colts
had like the.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
Twenty fifth easiest schedule up until this point and their
next few is like the ninth toughest schedule, the fifth
toughest schedules.

Speaker 3 (55:12):
That's pretty it's pretty bad going forward, especially because the
Jags keep actually keep running something. They just made that
huge trade to go get Jacoby Myers. If Ryan Robinson
Junior hasn't been showing up. You got Jacoby Myers now,
so now you got what Jacoby Myers. Travis Hunter should
be back, right, you know, he's out for four games
because of the IR status. Like they they're they're rolling

(55:35):
right now. Man.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
But yeah, so you see that.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
So what's going to happen in the second half of
the season for the Colts could be a much more
coming down to Earth type of record by the time
it's all over. So that's gonna be fascinating to see.
So you know, so what he did, but we'll see, Yeah,
you know what he did?

Speaker 3 (55:51):
Do you remember the first time, I believe the first
time the Giants won the Super Bowl with Eli. That
was the one where they came in as the wild card,
as the last seed and ran the gambit right, Yes,
like with a with a pretty bad I don't know
who the fuck that is with a pretty Sorry, I
got a phone call and I was just like, I
don't know you, I don't know his mother. Eli went

(56:16):
on a tear Yes, during that playoff run where like
the whole time it was Na straighthand and that defense
are doing everything right. But then Eli was averaging three
to four touchdowns a game out of nowhere and minimum,
I want to say, like two or three turnovers all
of the playoffs, something like that at most. And I
want to say one of them was just a game

(56:37):
that was a little rougher, and he had two of
them in there, but otherwise he was on a fucking tear.
I think Daniel Jones hit that on fort he grabbed
the Superstar and Mario a little too early. Bro, you
just ran through a bunch of easy ass opponents looking
like you were you were Super Mario, and bro, you
shrunk back down the size you were little Lass Mario again.

(56:58):
And now now you do think, yeah, finish, you got
you got it.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
I was gonna say, like they did what they needed
to do to pad this thing, because to go seven
and one before you get into the teeth of your
schedule gives you some padding to sneak a few games
out right. I mean, I think they'll get the Falcons.
I think they can beat the Texans.

Speaker 3 (57:23):
I think them twice though, no, maybe not twice, right exactly,
And and they could and they could beat the Jaguars
one of those two times.

Speaker 2 (57:29):
So you've got yourself at least ten or eleven wins here.

Speaker 1 (57:33):
That might be enough. To sneak you into the the
playoffs as a walk or even to win the division.
It's gonna be real curious to.

Speaker 2 (57:40):
See what happens to you once you get to the playoffs,
because we all know this. Once you get to the playoffs,
everything changes as finers get tighter, game gameplay becomes more important,
and weaknesses get exposed in ways that they weren't necessarily
in a regular season game. So that's gonna be fascinating
to see. So they've I think they've done what they
needed to do to hold fully get themselves into the playoffs.

(58:02):
But what's going to happen once you get in the
playoffs is going to be interesting to see from.

Speaker 3 (58:06):
This, can I tell you though? Probably the stupidest thing
that was done this week in NFL, uh well, the
second stupidest. The second stupidest thing that happened was the
Bill's rookie Corner was talking about all the film he
watched on Xavier Worthy straight up said, yeah, man, it's
pretty easy. Everybody has a tail. So his tail is

(58:27):
he legitimately doesn't look like he's going to actually do
anything posture. His effort when he hit the ball is
not potentially coming his way, so I knew not to
worry about him. Why would you ever say that out
loud because that means that's an edge you need against
the Chiefs when it's actually time to go and play
them in the playoffs. You just told Xavier Worthy what

(58:50):
he needs to work on, and now he has the
rest of the season to go bitch and when the
when the rematch happens, watch his askt Burnt, Yeah, like
it's gonna be insane. Why would you ever because it's
one thing if you want to do this shit after
you've beaten the Chiefs for good and the season is
over and they're like, bro, you played him twice once
the regular season, shut him down. Then in the playoff game,

(59:12):
y'all finally got over the hump because Xavier Worthy had
one catch for a yard and couldn't do anything else.
What was you see? If you'd like, I can tell
you now because we're not playing no more, this is
what he does, right, because he would have probably figured
that out over the offseason, but you literally told him
what to do for the rest of the season.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
Exactly what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (59:33):
The stupidest thing was a coach that I have had
a lot of respect for But I am really questioning
what happened and dan Quinn leaving in your franchise quarterback
who had already been beat up this season, and it
looked very reminiscent now to RG three of leaving him
in against in a game where you're getting washed and
and now not only is his season over, thank god

(59:56):
it was his non throwing arm, but still, what does
this mean for Jade Daniels going forward? Like is he
going to be the same quarterback when he comes back?
Thankfully it's not his legs like with RG three, who
was more of a mobile quarterback than any now that
Jaden isn't. But like it, it truly changed. RG three
lost his superpowers after that. He did he broke something.

(01:00:18):
Jade Daniels broke something that is not instinctively gonna make
him mad. But we don't know what will happen until
he's back, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
And yeah, yeah, in this season he has had you know,
he's had number of injuries right to his knee, to
his legs, the hamstring stuff, So we don't know yet.
They haven't said yet that he is going to be out.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
For the season.

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
They've said he he's No, they've said he's out indefinitely,
but they haven't said the season, not yet.

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
Would you ever put him back? If I'm being honest,
you guys don't have a shot in hell.

Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
Now I'm in your camp. Why would you ever put
him back?

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
And maybe you get him some reps because the kids
still got to get experience on the field, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Don't don't let last year fool you.

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
Mark Sangez went to do AFC championship games his first
two years. It doesn't mean you're going to be a
great quarterback. So it's like at this so he needs
more time on the field. He needs to re defenses more,
he needs to understand the game, go that neo route
and go that next level or everything is a fucking
and he can figure out the messages.

Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
So he needs more playing time for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
But the question is do you risk bringing him back
later on in the season when the season is already
gone against with this o line that's not that strong,
with weapons that are all out for the year. It's
a dangerous proposition, to be honest with you, and I'd
i pursu myself. Personally, I'd rather ride with Mariota for
the rest of the year and fit the season is
done because we're not going anywhere, and then get him

(01:01:39):
healthy and see what's going on, and then comes back
next year. But maybe you come back in the last
two or three games, you play out, you know, show
get him his confidence back, get him his strength back,
kind of like top gun, right, send him back up there.
Even though Goose died, You've got to get him back
on track. So maybe you do that, but I think
it's dangerous. But Dan Quinn absolutely has to answer for this,
you know, And I'm just to me. When you see

(01:02:00):
the injury, reminisce the five broken leg, it's reminiscent RG
three and that dangling leg of his when he got
hit by the Ravens and then later against the Seahawks.
And it's the fact that it happened on the same
yard line on the opposite end of the field that
it happened to RG three, and that it was the
playing against the Seahawks both times.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
RG three and Jayden.

Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
It just for US Commanders fans, it's PTSD like crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
So it is just a shame overall. And hopefully he does.

Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
Bounce back, but I don't think we're going anywhere with
Dan Quinn. To be honest with you, I think last
year was a fluke and we had a great time
riding that train. But I don't think dan Quinn is
the guy to get us to the fucking promise Land.

Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
I really don't, and so hopefully it causes some real
questions to be asked.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
I pushed back only in that it's not to say
that you know, there are maybe questions about dan Quinn,
but where y'all made a big mistake, in my opinion,
you have this young, up and coming star franchise quarterback.
You surrounded him with the oldest team in the league.

(01:03:08):
I believe, Yes, yes, that doesn't make any sense. You
haven't had Scary Terry his greatest weapon a majority of
the season. I think he played like three games something
like that. You immediately lost Eckler, an older running back,
and to an Achilles are gone like one of your
top defenders. I believe is what Malcolm Butler. Yep, I

(01:03:30):
love Malcolm Butler, but again, been in the league forever.
So I think that the actual mistake here was less
dan Quinn because yet to my knowledge, he's not the
GM right.

Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
Right, No, he's not the GM. No, it's he's just
a coach.

Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
You have no offense, but like an ancient team, that
doesn't make it. You have you need a few veteran
pieces to lead the way, yep, but you need mid
to young guys to really be the thing that goes
over because injuries, creep up energy, all that kind of stuff.
That that that did not make logical sense to me,

(01:04:03):
And that is why I think things went. Background like
Deebo Samuel, I love Deebo Samuel, another old receiver and
when he came in looked pretty heavy at the during
the start of preseason or shit like that, Like it
just doesn't it didn't make sense the route y'all went
after getting to the AFC Championship game and being like,
you know what, we need more veteran leadership. Not let's

(01:04:26):
get a bunch of young dudes and then make sure
our vets can like lead the way. Let's make the
whole team Essentially what damn movie with with Jet Lee
and and Jason Statham and Untouchables, No, uh, the movie
all the old action stars. Let's go the expendables route.

(01:04:49):
That seems like a plan to me.

Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
I mean, it certainly feels like they were expendable watching
the stuff we were watching for sure, you know, yeah,
And I mean that's the frustrating part is like you get,
you get the logic if it works out, but the
fact that it didn't, you absolutely get to criticize it
because it didn't work out. And now you've got, you know,
an O line that was way too old and not
experienced enough to protect at the same time, not experienced

(01:05:15):
enough to protect Jadan Daniels. He lost all these older
players and even the defense looks a step behind. And
you talk about you talk about Deebo Samuel. I mean,
I sent you this picture and this you're absolutely right.
He came into camp and not in shape. There's Demo looking.

Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Good out there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
I mean, that is horrible to see that picture, but
it's not inaccurate.

Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
You just worry there were no weapons for him.

Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
Man, It's just crazy because like again, the Cowboys are
the second worst defense in the league. Y'all are only
three teams ahead of us. It's the Steelers and then
the Giants and then y'all. Yeah, so like that that
doesn't bode well for stuff either. Yeah, but the teams
that are running things, let's see one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

(01:06:04):
so like the top ten teams, the only one that
doesn't the only two that don't really belong in this conversation.
And then if you go down to more you got
your real answers are the Texans and the Browns, who
have the two best defenses in the league. Yep, but
it's the Broncos, Falcons, Packers, Chargers, Chiefs, Lions, Patriots, Rams,

(01:06:25):
then Seattle and the Bills, and then right after that Panthers, Vikings,
Bucks and Colts. So like those teams all have solid
defenses that are handling business and therefore are at the
top of the charts because they have, you know, offenses
that can match. Yep. But all these other teams, the Cowboys,
they had the second best offense in the league, behind
just the Colts our second last and defense, of course,

(01:06:48):
we suck. You could have said the same about the
Bengals with Joey b first in there, and then with
Joe flaccol coming back in worst defensive league and the
gutter the Ravens one of the worst defenses in the league,
and with the mar being outs, he didn't have the
offense to match it. In absolute dog shit like, you
have to have that balance and y'all, neither of us,

(01:07:08):
nobody in the NFC East except for the Eagles, really
has it. And I still they're doing much better. But
I still say if the Eagles want to get there
like now they've got they've got some pretty strong tests
coming up. They got the Packers this weekend, and they
got the Lions, and they play us again. If these
trades did anything, those are like your last major games.

(01:07:32):
The Bears, Chargers, Raiders, y'all, and the Bills will be
a big deal. But I would say this three game
stretch is going to be a strong rubric of like,
all right, are they about to take the NFC completely?
Like that will be the question. Is it going to
be them Seattle or the Rams? If they get through
these three games, I think they will probably take the
NFC of the one seed.

Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
Yeah that's good, good point. Yeah, Well, I know we're
running on time. Whence did you want to talk about
real quick?

Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Then?

Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
Before we get to the questions, you want to talk
about the trade deadline?

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Any deals?

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Sas Gardner traded to the Colts from the Jets, which
should be changing for the team. The Cowboys got what
got Quinnon Williams at twenty seven years old. That's an
interesting situation for them to pick up him, and then
that linebacker that they got to come in, Jacoby Myers,
as you said, moved on to Jacksonville from the from

(01:08:23):
the Saint from the Raiders, and then Shahied Rashia Shahid
from the Saints went to the Seahawks.

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:32):
I mean, I feel like this is an interesting situation
with these trades. Not necessarily I don't think game changing
in any way for any of these trades, but certainly
they'll help these teams get a little bit better. What
do you what are your thoughts on any of these
trades before we move on to the questions.

Speaker 3 (01:08:48):
I mean, this feels like what Jerry was saying. I
don't know, if you saw last week, he was more
obsessed about I got one hundred billion dollar deal going
on with this guy as more important than what I'm
worried about right now, and then you make these two
random trades at the end to try and make up
for shit, like we haven't been watching you. I'm not

(01:09:11):
saying that quinnin Williams isn't fantastic. I didn't know much
about him until you know, the trade happened and there's
all these people freaking out, especially getting rid of Mozzie Smith.
I wasn't really aware of who Mozzie Smith was at all,
but one you gave up entirely too much. The whole
argument you made for Micah Parsons was, well, you know,
these picks are real important for our future, like we're

(01:09:32):
gonna go and get these young books, like it'll be
a whole thing. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Hold on one second. Uh, okay, So you had this
whole thing where you're just sitting here thinking, okay, yeah, no, no, no,
I can't do this right now. Sorry, a friend got
a job and they wanted they want me to take

(01:09:53):
a shot, and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
I'm live, leave me alone.

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
Soon soon, five thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
Just chill.

Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
But long story short, you got this idea where you
then took these picks that we were so excited about.
You didn't even guarantee we're gonna give you like the
lesser of the picks, or like you can have the
Packers pick because we know that we're kind of the
worst team right now. They literally set the trade up
where the Jets get the better of the two picks.

(01:10:23):
That's insane, and now it just comes. It goes to
show you really traded Micah because your ego, because you
win and got players that and a lot of arguments
are less than him, and you didn't even really keep
the assets you traded to go get like the shit
is crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
Bro agreed, Agreed.

Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
I don't think the trades did anything for any teams
that were Maybe the Sauce Gardener trade helps, but if
the Colts go out in the first or second round,
it's not.

Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
Really that important.

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
And I think the Cowboys picked up players that weren't
even starting on their respective team.

Speaker 1 (01:10:59):
So yes, they can come in.

Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
And offer help and maybe allow you to move the
defense around a little bit, but it's not going to
make that big of a difference to help Dak in
the end in this situation.

Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
And so you know, and that O line man.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
The Cardinals exposed that O line in critical situations last night.
So I didn't see anything that they've done too much
to save themselves.

Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
So good some.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Good deals overall, but I don't think anything that was
necessarily game changing for any of these teams, including the
Jacoby Myers. That'll just keep the Jags in the hunt,
but in the end, I don't think the Jags gonna
do enough to get themselves a Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (01:11:30):
So it's I mean, the only thing with that Jacoby
Myers really is good enough to be at number one. Sure,
So if this is enough to take some pressure off
of Brian Robinson to get him to snap out of
his funk, it could be because their defense is pretty solid, Like, yeah,
the DAGs are kind of handling business. I think that
the ultimate scary thing that came out of this, not

(01:11:50):
that they got anything crazy, right, was definitely the Patriots
because they I'm trying to remember who they ended up
getting out of this. Who did they trade? I don't
remember who they traded for? Okay, do you do you
remember who the Patriots for?

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
Right now? Let me let me go through these and
see what we got.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
But keep but just the idea that they're already rolling
and they made them so stronger, the Colts feeling like
they had a little bit of panic though it seemed
like you needed more on an offense. I think that
was kind of a while. Getting Sauce Gardner, who's one
of the best corners we've seen in a minute, is fantastic. Yeah,
traded away one of your top receivers, and and you
just showed that Daniel Jones potentially needs a little bit

(01:12:31):
more help, a little bit more more weapons to get
it done. Like Jonathan Taylor, if he's going to be
locked up, you need to make sure that people are
there to help him bail shit out. I just seemed
a little weird to me. You don't pass up on
getting a Sauce Gardner. But yeah, I don't know, man,
that just that that felt off persutely.

Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
Well, what I see is the Patriots traded a Steelers
got Kyle Duggar from the Patriots in a twenty twenty
sixth seventh U pick. The Patriots got a twenty twenty
six sixth round pick. They kind of phased out Douger anyway,
the Patrie so you got it, but they got an
edge right four. And they also traded Keon White to
the forty nine Ers to pick up a twenty twenty
six six round pick, so they got rid of some

(01:13:10):
surplus too needs players for themselves. They cleaned that out,
so that helps for them as the Patriots. But I'll
tell you this, I do think the Eagles became stronger
like the people they picked up here in the draft.
I think the trades rather the deadline has shored up
their defense even more. And so I think they've done
the And they kept AJ Brown, which was on the

(01:13:31):
fence at the time some of the comments, So the
Egles only got stronger, and I think Eagles won.

Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
They got like four players that are all just killers. Yeah,
and and just added it to a defense that what
their issue was they went too young, too fast, yep,
and so they started to get a little bit exposed
without the veteran presence. But you brought one dude out
of retirement, Brandon what's his name, who was just just
having him around? What Graham? I think, yeah, Brandon Graham.

(01:13:57):
And then you brought in these four killers to like
come help dude, Like the Eagles have pretty much just
cemented themselves, and you found a way to keep AJ
Brown and all of this on top of it, like
Jesus christ Man. And then the last thing, the Cowboys.
You went and got a dude that is no longer
a starter for the worst defense in the league in
the Bengals. The only person worth their salt on that

(01:14:18):
team was Hendrickson, who they did not trade right, And
so you would have got this dude that used to
be a killer, and then they would have compared to
Leydon vander Esh who was hurt. And then this guy
gets hurt, and it's just like, I, let's stop.

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
Talking about football.

Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
We wanted the questions election ied coverage. You've only washed
it had any such coverage. Daniels though, and Winston's Cowboys
getting wrecked at home by Brezette so embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Lol won on Monday Night football.

Speaker 3 (01:14:50):
Dude, I feel blessed. I was so mad that I,
for some reason I could not get ESPN to work
last night, and I was like, yeah, we're on Monday
Night football, Like, let me. I was like, whatever, I'm
going to go see good fortune. I guess I'll miss
the beginning of this game. I'm glad I didn't see
any of that game. I feel like the universe was
protecting me from bullshity.

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
Are you on YouTube TV? Because that's the ESPN is
off of YouTube TV right now? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:15:13):
I I had a family member with DirecTV that didn't
use their stream and then I fit finally figured it out.
It looks like they fully downgraded their package so they
don't have ESPN anymore, and I was like, whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
Well, before we move on real quick, it is breaking news.
Abigail spanger Berger is the winner. She's projected to be
the winner here in Virginia. She will be the governor
in Virginia. That is what they have right now. Sorry,
CNN is calling it. With fifty percent of the vote in,
she has fifty five point three percent to win. Some

(01:15:47):
Earl Sears forty four point five percent. Uh. The Attorney
General in Virginia is still too close. Ran now fifty
point seven percent for j Jones to Jason Mayard's forty
eight point nine. Is the Republican Hashmi is the lieutenant
governor fifty three point three percent to John Reid Revolve
against forty six percent With fifty one percent of the
vote coming in. Mikey Cheryl right now is destroying Jack

(01:16:09):
sell Citarelli. They're in New Jersey sixty four percent thirty
five percent with twenty two percent of the vote, and
still nothing on New York. Uh, and pretty much all
the Pennsylvania Supreme Court people are gonna keep their seats
and nothing yet on Prop fifty. So just update right
now what's going on with the top stuff. Let's one
more questions. Wiley Todd. I love the mmy movies. They

(01:16:29):
were my favorites growing up. I love these type of movies.
I hope it does well because I want more like
Jungle Cruise.

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
I don't disagree.

Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
Those are fun movies. They are.

Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
They are fun movies.

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Indeed, Man Doug Developer says, thank you for the higher
first round pick Winston. As a Jets fan, Doug says,
is paired with the Colts first round pick from the
Sauce trade. Come to us quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Oh man,
you guys can ruin him?

Speaker 3 (01:16:52):
Ruin another quarterback? Yeah? Okay, cool, I'm just going it out.
I see it, bro. The last time y'all had a
quarterback that y'all drafted and actually made like a star?
I mean, like like sure Mark Sandres had a quick,
like brief moment in the sun going back to back
AFC Championship games. And yeah, now where is he?

Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
Exactly in dark alleys with guys supposedly having arguments. Deck
Developer says Nick Sirianni has such a punchable face he does.

Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
New York Radio despises him.

Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
Is there a head coach from any sport ever, who
just pisses you off because of his attitude? Oh yeah,
for me, it's it's Dabo Sweeney over at Clemson. I
fucking hate Dabo Sweeney. No, I don't think respect to
his family, but like sports wise, I hate this son
of a bitch so much. He's jumping up and out,
hopping up and down all the time, and then when
his team loses, everyone else's fault but his own. So

(01:17:45):
I just have an issue with Dabo Sweeney and I
just hate that dude to pieces.

Speaker 3 (01:17:50):
I mean, Nick SIRIANTI perfectly perfectly envelops everything I think
about Philly fans. So that's that. You gotta you got
a good one right there. Trying to think who else
off the top of my head, nobody, Nobody's necessarily coming
to mind, because I think those types of coaches I
just kind of push out of my brain I have.

(01:18:12):
I tend to have more beef with the the talking heads,
which tend to be gms or owners. So the Jerry
Jones is of the world and that and that. That's
the thing. Everything I've actually heard of Jerry Jones. He's
actually a very kind individual and is very hospitable. It's
just the ego on that guy is the reason why

(01:18:33):
we are where we are. He doesn't have enough humility too.
If you really care about business like that, bro, go
focus on your business and turn over GM duties to
somebody else.

Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
Yeah, go mean a Landman episode, Doug.

Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
You know, just disagree with someone if one they are
okay with diversity, A white male just has to be
in the driver's seat. No pun intended to see top
gun Maverick, Well, I mean, yeah, okay, go ahead once
you want addresses.

Speaker 3 (01:18:58):
I mean I think that that was more of an
of a of a, especially if you're doing the kind
of eighties old school whatever of it all with f one.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
A sink hundreds of million dollars into a film led
by Damson Indrits.

Speaker 3 (01:19:13):
Not yet he has to prove that he's there. He
wasn't there yet. So you took the up and comer
and you paired him with the superstar. You could have
done it on the flip if if if you really
wanted to take Idris Elba just because interest is on
the brain and then go put him with say a
Glenn Powell, who I think Glen Pale's already hit that
that stride. But so maybe maybe it is Patrick Schwarzenegger

(01:19:37):
or whoever, and let that be the thing that you
could have done that too, But like that was the thing,
is that you just went with Brad Pitt in this case.
And and but I would genuinely make the argument that
that was a that was a split there.

Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
Yeah, yeah, well, I mean, look at a safe House, right,
that's h Denzel getting Ryan Reynolds over. Look at Unbreakable,
that's Denzel getting Chris pined over.

Speaker 3 (01:19:59):
So there is stuff. It's been of training Day. So
that was Denzel's Oscar getting getting Ethan Hankover, who was
already doing things, but like he really people knew his
name after that movie because of how much buzz the
movie generated.

Speaker 2 (01:20:15):
Talking about also says who's the more annoying Homer uh
right or Simmons?

Speaker 3 (01:20:20):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:20:20):
Which one's right?

Speaker 3 (01:20:21):
Nick Wright, who's obsessed with the Chiefs, and then Simmons
who Simmons Phil.

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Simmons for the Celtics and Boston teams. He's always in Celtics.

Speaker 3 (01:20:34):
Nick Wright is is fine? I think probably Simmons because
like Nick Wright, Yeah, he's obsessed right now with the
whole tackle to turn the tide is like his big
thing about essentially when Patrick Mahomes threw an interception and
tackled the giants and after that they their offense has
been rolling on all cylinders. So there's that, But no,
overall he has very He tends to have pretty balanced

(01:20:54):
assessments of things, and he tends to be on the
right side of history as well. Hartially I found out
he's been to assistence, so like that that something something
click where he's just the black wife glow up definitely
helped him out. Man.

Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
Of course he's married to his sister, please an energy
all over the place. Yeah, I think Simmons is the
more annoying Homer because Simmons will never concede. That's the
problem with Simmons sometimes, and I've followed Simmons for years
since his page two Days. He never concedes points that
are negatives against the Celtics or against the Patriots unless
he comes up with those negative points.

Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
So kJ says.

Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
With the New Franksin movie coming on Netflix, what is
your favorite version of Frankenstein. I still love the universal version.
I would say this is my favorite version. I've seen
it twice now, the Frank Frankenstein. It is so fucking good.
It's my favorite version. I do love the old school
universal of course, of Boris Karloff will always love that one.
But this one is the best version of the book

(01:21:46):
in live action I've ever seen, So I highly love
this one and recommend it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
Uh. Yeah, I don't know if I've actually seen any
Frankenstein movies other than Young Frankenstein, which is a good Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
kJ also says, what are your thoughts on Jean Moran's
one game suspension?

Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
You know, he the coach getting suspended.

Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
For a game.

Speaker 1 (01:22:08):
What did he do he got in trouble for you?

Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
I think for mouthing off the coach right, saying negative
things about the team or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
I think that's what it was. I think that's what
it was.

Speaker 3 (01:22:19):
Just the kid can't get in his own can't get
out of his own way. Man.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Yeah, yeah, here is he was banned. Yeah, JOm Right
delivered to him and Memphis Grizzlies after his one game suspension. Yeah,
that's what happened with him, is that he had some issues.
We made some comments about the coach about the team, uh,
and that's why this suspended him for one game. But
he didn't say much about it afterwards, you know, you

(01:22:46):
talk your ship, you're gonna get suspended. These people are
paying you, and if you're going to be having an issue,
then you know, don't be surprised if you get suspended
for a game.

Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
I don't think he's anything wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
Yeah, I mean it is what it is. I just
if I if I'm John Morant, after all the money
I lost and everything else, I'm just gonna shut up
and ball Like if I'm being honest. Now, I'm not
telling him not to be himself, but I'd be tired
of losing money. That would be my stances. I would
just personally be tired of losing money. So I would
just be like, I'm chilling, I'm chilling. Yeah, we could

(01:23:20):
have played better there, I'm chilling, I'm chilling. Whatever, Like,
just get get your check and go ball out, bro.
But that's part of why a lot of people love
him is because he's himself. Yeah, that's for sure. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:23:30):
He was suspended for condent detrimental to the team, according
to the coaching When he was asked about why he
had a season low eight points and seven assists, he said,
according the coaching staff, probably don't play me, honestly, that's
basically what the message was to me, it's cool. And
when they were asking him about his following up with
the questions, he said, quote, go ask the coaching staff.

Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
So yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:23:53):
Dude, just literally ask somebody for Marshawn Lynch's number. Yeah,
ask him and every interview from now on, just like
because I know it wasn't because he was talking to
press previously. It was all of his like gun either
on camera in lives or doing you know, gun celebrations

(01:24:14):
after like dunks and shit. Hit up your boy, Marshan
and just start hitting the You know, I'm just here.
Some I won't get fine, over and over, over and over.
Y'all gonna play with me like this. I'm just here.
Some won't get fine. Yeah that was a good play.
Yeah we're playing better. I'm just here. Some won't get fine.
Just screw that. Don't talk to them no more.

Speaker 1 (01:24:32):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:24:33):
This is.

Speaker 2 (01:24:34):
Cowways fan, I do high Marshall thoughts of Winston A
thoughts on if we should get rid of our defensive
coordinator ps since person we rank lower defensively.

Speaker 3 (01:24:42):
Now, yeah, you're talking about Matt Eberflus. I wasn't sure
why we did that when the Bears defense wasn't exactly
good in the last few years that he was head coach.
But that's the second year in a row. First you
went and got Zimmer, who hasn't been relevant defensively for
a while. Yeah, and then you turn around, I got
eber Flues. I don't understand why we keep doing this,
but whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:25:03):
Since these quick stream labs that have come through and on,
Anonymous says, show them. My love for the Teekila spillers.
The cowboy moves are interesting because they feel like when
I was trying to finish a paper and wait until
the last minute to do it. So much content stuff
to do it, but made little to no sense. I say,
I don't disagree. Luke James says, I hope you will

(01:25:26):
have benefit of y'all since your Collider Oh been a
fan of you since your Collider Flash reviews.

Speaker 1 (01:25:30):
Oh thanks Luke.

Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
Congrats on the weight loss. Also, top ten in London
is still a lifetime highlight. Dude, I miss those days,
brother man. I modeled the T shirt on stage. Yes, Winston,
I never I never always agree with you.

Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
But I do respect your knowledge Tequila for life.

Speaker 3 (01:25:46):
Thank you, Thank you friend.

Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
Yeah, Luke. I missed those days.

Speaker 2 (01:25:50):
I was thinking about it the other day, and I
would love to be able to go live again across
the country and in another country.

Speaker 1 (01:25:55):
That'd be amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:25:57):
Tim says Johnny Boy, Please tell me you started. I
have to survive. Need some f one talk on here
so I can send more stream labs. Tim, I will,
I promise I will this week that I'm just catching
up on all the critics choice movies for the Oscar stuff.
Duck says in elections, the Right appeals to the ultra
wealthy by giving the massive text cuts, and appeals to
the working class by shamelessly and stilling rage and culture war.

(01:26:19):
It's an unfortunate, very formidable winning formula. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
It depends in Winston. As we're seeing tonight, we're seeing
a lot of Democrats winning right off the bat here.
So it seems like there's a bit of a rebuke
of the Maga theology and what Trump is doing.

Speaker 3 (01:26:37):
And that's the thing that the numbers say that he's
actually the worst he's been. Yeah, like approval rating wise,
I think the entirety of both terms, because because there's
been enough of people seeing there's gonna be the biggots
and the pieces of shit that were like, yeah, Ice,
go harder, right, and he even said it himself. Do
you think that Ice has been going too hard? I

(01:27:00):
think they're going to hide enough. Like that is one
of those things where you're your most like the people
that are actually trash that support you, that are like
that's not enough, do more violence, They're gonna eat that up.
But everybody else has been like, Okay, bro, that's not
what you said you were gonna You said you're gonna

(01:27:20):
deport people, but you're gonna deport criminals, and this is inhumane.
You're seeing people do that. Let alone. You pissed the
farmers off because you went and bailed out Argentina and
then you got China to go buy Argentine the soybeans
and Americanna buy argentinean beep, like you just did so
much to screw over so many people in your base.
They're not happy. So you are seeing a little bit
of a rebuke here. But you know, it's just it's

(01:27:43):
the first of three elections with him still at the helm, right.

Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Right, and we'll see if you can get a mid
terms election. To be honest with you, we'll say with madness.
All right, I think that's everything. Oh no, Samo says,
Chuck Schumer didn't say who he was going to vote
for in the New York City mayor race. But he
needs to be replaced. He needs to be Really, I
don't disagree with you at all, Winston, you've been saying
that as well, Sumar, who needs Chuck Schumer?

Speaker 3 (01:28:08):
Yeah, he's gotta go.

Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
Yeah, he has not said who's going to vote for
in the New York City mayor race, which is the
Mom Donnie race.

Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
So a crazy man.

Speaker 2 (01:28:17):
Yeah, the stuff they've fucking Cuomo. I mean, listen, whatever
your issues are, I totally understand it supposed to our
Jewish listeners or watchers, Like obviously that's something that's very
close to you all, and you have a right to
feel the way you want to feel about the whole situation.

Speaker 1 (01:28:32):
But having someone come in and.

Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
Put a nine to eleven video as a promotion to
get you to not vote for this guy is fucking abhorrent.

Speaker 3 (01:28:42):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
And it insults the death of all those people that
died that day, it really does. And to me, it's
politics gone super fucking insane, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
Let alone the fear mongering of you know what I'm
gonna like, if let's let's let's just just to lightly
talk about this. If what you're concern is, is this
idea of Mundani going into becoming mayor is that it's
going to cause a rise in anti Semitism in New York?

(01:29:13):
Do you think that the appropriate response is to then
go as aslamophobic as possible? Right, Like, that's that's what's crazy.
You're you're deciding to literally fight fire with fire, and
then guess what happens when you do that? The whole
village burns to the ground. Like what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (01:29:32):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (01:29:32):
That that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (01:29:38):
All right, well let's end it there.

Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
Thank you so much for hanging out with us here
on this bill of Tequila. We appreciate you all coming back.
We have well over two hundred of you joining us

Hit that like button so the numbers go up. People
see it, And of course, leave your thoughts in comments
about everything we talked about here down in the comments
section below, which I'll put a time codes on the

(01:30:00):
subjects here a little bit and what's today Marshall on
the Fun Show. Please let people know what they can
find you in. Which got going on the Man?

Speaker 3 (01:30:06):
I mean at the Swaggy Blurt on all platforms again.
I'm gonna attempt to get a blurred breakdown out a
little later this week just because of my stomach. I
didn't get to do one yesterday, but tomorrow I will
be on Blurds in the Hood myself and Jay Washington
YouTube am slash Blirds in the Hood. Friday, I'll be
back over on Capes and Cows myself, Christian and Chris
Carr and the Demon Slayer reactions. We are going to

(01:30:28):
be doing the Move and Train movie, which is kind
of the chunk of season two, So come and check
all of that out. I greatly appreciate y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:30:37):
Yeah, and tell Jay Washington not post those AI videos
of himself lifting weights. Nobody blease, nobody blease, keep.

Speaker 3 (01:30:44):
Lying to yourself. You know all he does is lift
to the point of shredding his own back, and not
in like a man your back of shredded, but like
are you able to walk?

Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
That's true. Those are great.

Speaker 2 (01:30:59):
I love those the cowich Man and Tew says, who
do you think should run other than Newsom or AOC, anyone?

Speaker 3 (01:31:03):
You see, I don't necessarily think AOC should run. I
don't think that we're we're ready for that. Like just
from the standpoint of I'm not saying that if somebody
wants to run for president that that's fine, but like
I unfortunately, unless we see a massive change in the

(01:31:25):
next couple of years, yeah, they kind of gotta go
the most chalk white man you could find. And I
think the only one that's technically an other that could
do that right now would be Buddha Judge. And that's
just because he has been actively in the mix on
Fox News and all these various platforms and countering a
lot of this stuff but doing it very well, and

(01:31:48):
nobody has ever pulled him out of his element or
anything like that. So, like it's not to say that
AOC can't handle herself. It's not to say that Jasmin
Crockett can't handle themselves. But like we have already seen
that racism and sec are at an all time high. Yeah,
and I think any woman of color is gonna have
a lot of trouble trying to crack that egg right now,
and so I think the more chalk white, dude, you

(01:32:10):
can go. Unfortunately, that's just good. That's that for right now.
I'm not saying forever, but.

Speaker 1 (01:32:16):
I think I think it's either gonna be Newsommer or Shapiro.

Speaker 2 (01:32:20):
And uh that young kid out in Texas, uh with Teleferico,
I think he's going to be considered for VP when
they look at this stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:32:29):
So yeah, I just I'm just not a fan of
I'm just not a fan of Shapiro, like a lot
of the decisions he's made in office, a lot of
the stuff that he has said, and I just I'm
not about that life man.

Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
Yeah yeah, yeah, uh uh, Paul, here's cock breaking news.
Deadline reports that after six month investigation, has been found
that Cheryl Hines has killed more three on three.

Speaker 1 (01:32:51):
Actions in erections, erections and local zoning laws.

Speaker 2 (01:33:00):
You talked about, Charlotte Helloa, whoa whoa, whoa whoa, But
I don't disagree.

Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
All right, Thanks everything following us.

Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
We love you madly, Thanks for watching, Take care of yourselves,
be well, and I'll talk to you next time with
another brand new live episode to spill the Tea dealer
Next week piece.

Speaker 1 (01:33:16):
