Speaker 1 (00:01):
Can you dig it? Can you dig it?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
There you dig all right?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Welcome to a post show podcast. My name is John Justice.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
You know that.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
So wrapped up the show today, being Wednesday, really busy show.
Talked quite a bit and played audio of the new
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levite, played commentary and this
is what I'll be talking about on this post show
podcast today from Governor Tim Walls, Amy Klobashar Stephen Miller

(00:42):
on the Trump side of things, pushing back on Trump's
executive order relating to this pause in federal funding. I
spent a lot of time on the show this morning
discussing this because the freak out from the left in
the wake of Trump's inauguration has finally arrived. It had
been oddly muted since the twentieth and I discussed this

(01:06):
at length on the show, So I don't want to
completely go over ground that I went through this morning.
You would have thought that the Democrats would have reached
the freak out level that they have as of right
now relating to Trump's executive order to pause selective federal

(01:27):
funding when it comes to the deportations that have been
taking place since the middle of last week and a
few days after he was inaugurated. But the Democrats don't
really care about that issue. They don't really care about
illegal immigration. They know that it's a loser argument for them,
which is utterly ridiculous when you consider what they said,

(01:49):
what individuals like Governor Tim Wall said when he had
the ridiculous notion that America would actually accept him as
a leader to shore up Kamala Harris and repel them
to victory in last year's election. If anything, he probably
drug her down even further because he's that bad of
a politician and a leader. But oddly and unsurprisingly, the

(02:15):
left has been quiet over immigration. They've been waiting for
something that they could pounce again the gas lighting that
takes place when typically it's Republicans pounce if they go
and claim, you know, they go and criticize anything that
the left does, when the reality is no, it's the
left that really pounces on these issues. And they found
one in Trump's pause on federal funding, which a court

(02:39):
has ordered blocked. If you actually took a moment to
read the memo in the executive order, you come to
find out that any essential services that are being paid
already aren't getting paused, and any entities that are receiving
federal funding that may have been paused, even if you

(02:59):
can about them. All they have to do is within
a a relatively small period of time is fill out
the questionnaire relating to what the funding is going to,
and that funding can be turned back on. There'll be
no lapse in coverage. But Walls, as I'll play in
this clip, and the whole reason why I'm doing this
post show podcast, has been out there just like Amy Klobash, are,

(03:22):
just like Chuck Schumer and the rest of them, lying
about what this pause and funding is actually going to do.
It's stunning to me just how easy they can go
out and lie. And it raises a question that I
pose this morning on the show, like are they that ignorant?
Do they really believe these things that they are saying,

(03:44):
or do they just know that this is political theater
They have no problem lying and so they just go
out and do what they do. I mean, Walls has
already proven himself to be a perpetual liar. He's an
habitual liar. I mean not just on issues like this,
but we covered it throughout the campaign, the things of

(04:06):
his past that he didn't need to lie about and
he did. And I'm not going to tread over that
old ground. Walls is a liar, plain and simple. That
is a factual statement. But there's something that happens in
this clip with I Believe Rachel Maddow that I wanted
to spend some time on in this post show podcast
because I didn't get a chance to get into it
today on the show, just because we were so busy.

(04:28):
But I got home and I'm recording this from my
studio at home, and I was talking to my wife
Melinda about this, and I decided, you know, and let
me go sit down for a few minutes and talk
about this, because it's indicative of a major problem that
we have within our media and the lack of accountability
when it comes to our elected officials. And I don't
care which side of the aisle that you fall on.

(04:51):
If this happens to a Republican they also need to
be held accountable as well. But let me play you
again a bit of this clip, and my understanding is
this is the portion after Walls Governor Tim Walls has
asked I believe by Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, like what
can be done. What can people do if they're outraged
over this pose and federal funding. I mean meaning if

(05:12):
they've bought into this fear and rhetoric and the lies
being perpetuated, what can they do? So let's take some
time and work through this clip a bit in a
way that I couldn't this morning on the show.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
I think it is speaking up, it's thinking about your neighbors,
it's writing and putting those members of Congress. Look, there
is no spine amongst those folks, but this is real.
This is I'm you know, they're talking about defunding the police,
things that they you know, puff their chests up and
say they're good with making the case.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
And I would let you know to the voters.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Okay, so let me stop here. First off, Walls has
this unique ability to just speed talk through his commentary.
It's like it's like drive by rhetoric.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
You know.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
He starts off relatively benign, just saying, hey, you know,
reach out, contact your congressman, takes shots at Congress saying
they don't have a have a spine, and then he
begins to move into his speed talking and his brain
is almost moving, like his lips is moving or moving
faster than his brain is operating. When he starts to

(06:18):
continue to shift gears and talk about different topics.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I'm with this too. Everybody's fatigued. Trust me, I get it.
That was It was pure hell and the disappointment and
the frustration, and I'm, you know, soul searching. What could
we have done to make the case because we knew
this was coming.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Okay, So now you have him talking about being fatigued.
I assume that he is referencing the pace at which
the Trump administration and Trump have been moving over the
course of the past a little over a week. And
then he talks about being fatigued, and then soul searching.
I assume this is in regard to the loss of
the election, although I would argue for Governor Tim Walls

(06:56):
that in order to search your soul, you have to
have one to begin with, and I don't believe that
he does.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
He knew that.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
The implication then they're throwing so much at us that
were fatigued.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
You know, we spent three days, you.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Know, debating, having them trying to debate that President Musk
gave a Nazi salute.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Of course he did, but that is a distraction.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
That's what I want to talk about right there, That's
what I want to spend time on. First off, it's
one thing to add no follow up from the person
that's doing the interview, to point out, because the interviewer

(07:40):
should be as educated as the person that they are
talking about related to the subject which is being discussed.
So in this case, you know, Rachel Maddout, whoever it is,
should have the information in front of them to know
what is being paused in terms of federal funding. And
again this has been blocked by a judge for now,
and what isn't and it should be able to go wait, wait, wait, wait,

(08:03):
where do you see a pause in in Where do
you see a defunding of police in this? Right? So
that is an expectation that one should have watching this
that I would think the bosses of whoever the interviewer
is for the network or whatever platform that they're on,
would want them to do. That's not too much to ask.
But what Walls did right there is something even different.

(08:26):
So let me let me again. Let's start it over
and I'll stop it again after the after the comment
about Elon.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
I think it is is speaking up, it's thinking about
your neighbors. It's writing and putting those members of Congress. Look,
there is no spine amongst those folks, but this is real.
This is I'm you know, they're talking about defunding the police,
things that they you know, puff their chests up and
say they're good with making the case. And I would
let you know, to the voters, I'm with this too.
Everybody's fatigued. Trust me, I get it.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
That was It was.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Pure hell and the disappointment and the frustration, and I'm
you know, soul searching what could we have done to
make the case because we knew this was coming, We
knew that the implication. Then they're throwing so much at
us that were fatigued. You know, we spent three days,
you know, debating, having them trying to debate that President
Musk gave a Nazi salute.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Of course he did, but that is a distraction.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
That is no small thing I mentioned this morning that
I could spend I could have spent the whole rest
of the show talking about that, And that's why I'm
doing this post show podcast. Now, does Governor Tim Walls
really believe that if I were interviewing Walls and he
said that that's what I would ask him, hold on,
hold on, Governor, you just said that there was a debate,

(09:42):
because there was a ridiculous debate that Elon Musk arguably
the richest person on the planet who's been forging, you know,
ground in terms of technology and advancements when it comes
to exploring our galaxy far beyond anything that's been done

(10:03):
at the government level for decades. Be that as it may,
Elon Musk being the person that he is, it was
ridiculously debated that because of his quirky style on stage,
of which Governor Tim Wall should know that when he
was talking about you know, my heart to you and
he did that and then threw his arm out that
he was doing a Nazi salute, and Walls there says

(10:24):
there was a debate over that. Was he doing a
Nazi salute? Of course he was. So my question to
Walls would be, first off, you just said that you
believe he's doing a Nazi salute, So can I ask
you do you really believe that? Do you really believe
that Elon Musk did a Heile Hitler Nazi salute? And

(10:45):
if Walls did, then we had to have a conversation
about that. This is the governor of the state of Minnesota,
who just made a claim that the richest guy on
the face of the earth arguably right. I don't know
who is up there. I know that the other tech
tech giants are up there. But Elon Musk is one
of the richest guys in the face of the planet,

(11:09):
billions upon billions, if not trillions of dollars in capital
attached to him, working with the Trump administration, and the
governor of the state of Minnesota thinks that he tossed
up the Nazi salute. I would think that if that's
what Walls believes, that he would want to have a
further conversation about that. That's no small thing. So if

(11:29):
you think that Elon Musk did the Heile Hitler Nazi salute,
why do you think he did that? I mean, is
it just benign in your opinion that maybe he did
that because he was just trying to get a rise
out of people, or is the implication here that you

(11:51):
actually believe that Elon Musk agrees with the ideology off
Hitler and the Nazis. And if you do, then we
need to have a conversation about that, because that's a
very distressing and concerning thing. You know, unfortunately we live

(12:13):
in a world now where the left is thrown around
these types of labels that they really have been diminished
and they shouldn't be. That is a serious accusation for
an individual who is now tied to the Trump administration,

(12:37):
employs thousands upon thousands of individuals people trust in his
technology that eventually they are going to hop on his
spaceships and travel to Mars. And the governor of the
state of Minnesota thinks that he is doing Nazis salutes.
There needs to be a conversation about that. At a

(12:58):
bare minimum, there should be a fun to that. No
one's going to do that though. No one's going to
question him on that, and they should because if he
doesn't really believe that, then that needs to be called
out as well, because he shouldn't be able to use
that language, shouldn't be able to He's entitled to his
free speech. Let me rephrase, he can say whatever he

(13:21):
wants to say, but he shouldn't say those things and
then not have to go and answer for them. And unfortunately,
now where we are is that people just brush it by,
they don't follow up, which makes me believe that it
really doesn't carry any weight for Governor Tim Walls. But
if Governor Tim Walls is willing to go and throw

(13:41):
out an accusation of Elon Musk, he's tossing up the
Nazi salute, and he's willing to do it so flippantly
as if we needed any more examples, then why in
the world will we trust him on anything else that
he says. Because again, if he really believes that Elon
Musk did Ahile Hitler Nazi salute in front of a

(14:02):
bunch of people, then that is incredibly disturbing and distressing.
And I would think the Governor Tim Wallas would want
to talk about it, but he doesn't. He throws it
out there and then continues on his rant.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
From what I think you said it. This is game
on stuff right here. And I am worried with these
federal employees because look at they're in a tough spot.
That some of these folks, especially those that are doing
good work around environmental concerns, around justice for people around,
you know, criminal justice reform, all of the things that
make our society better, those folks are in there and

(14:37):
they're making you know, they put out tweets from the
President's failed son who threatens people like we're coming for you.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
You think this is bad or whatever.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
So I would tell people stay focused, don't take the
bait on the distractions. Surround yourself with people who understand
this and recognize the things they went after today are
basically a big chunk of what society does. And people
like to have clean water and hospitals and safety and
roads and airports, all the things that are going after.

(15:05):
And you summed it up, there's societies that function like
this where the rich and that oligarchs do everything, and
there's some fabulously wealthy people who are basically not basically
above the law, and the rest of us are here.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
What the hell is he talking about? All of the
concerns that he just laid out there in that another
twenty thirty seconds, none of those things are in jeopardy
based off of the pause that President Donald Trump proposed,
if he had actually bothered to read the memo, which
again raises the question did he does he know that

(15:38):
he's lying or is he buying into the rhetoric? Does
he really believe that Elon Musk leans into Nazi ideology?
I honestly don't know. I know that Walls is a liar.
That is just again a factual statement. But I honestly

(15:59):
don't know if he's really this, this ignorant, or if
that's what he truly believes. I do know that he
should be given some scrutiny. He should be called on
the carpet for it. It should be analyzed and discussed,
because maybe if we did that, then we can stop
with this ridiculous nonsense. Because Elon Musk didn't throw up

(16:23):
a Hyle Hitler Nazi salute. Anybody with common sense knows
that he didn't do that. I don't think that Governor
Tim Walls has any common sense. I think I think
he's a far leftist American Democrat Marxist. That's what I
think Governor Tim Walls is. I think that perhaps if

(16:46):
this is all just a you know, political theater for him,
and he knows that he's lying, and it doesn't matter
anything that he needs to say or do to paint
the Trump administration as being horrible, evil and off, he'll
just say it. It doesn't matter if he's speaking the truth
or not. Or maybe maybe he's concerned because he knows

(17:10):
that when that examination of funding takes place, perhaps more
fraud will be exposed, we already know that over half
a billion dollars that we know of has just gone
out the window here in Minnesota under his watch. We
already know that he blew through eighteen billion dollars worth
of surplus after telling the voters that he was going

(17:30):
to give us that money back, and he never did.
We already know that while he's going to offer up
a paltry historical tax cut which basically gives you seven
cents less that you'll spend on one hundred dollars purchase,
while he jacks up taxes on goods and services that

(17:52):
are already tax on the front end, that aren't paying
taxes now and that's how they survive because he has
to go and shore up his budget because of the
failures or perhaps intentionally the budget under his watch that
the DFL mafia has created here in the state of Minnesota.
I mean, just on that level, any concern that Governor

(18:15):
Tim Walls has about funding being paused or spending, he
doesn't have any room whatsoever to talk with the amount
of money that's just gone and just up in smoke
since the time when he got elected into office. And
there's a lot of you know, a lot of evidence
to point to the fact that perhaps that fraud that

(18:37):
has taken place in Minnesota has happened intentionally. They've allowed
it to happen. It's a redistribution of wealth because they
only seem to care when they get caught. And then
when the fraud is exposed and we find out that
the state of Minnesota has known about this for years,
he offers up paltry excuses like, well, there was nothing
that we could do about it. Well, why didn't you

(18:57):
start addressing it years ago when it first came up.
Why did you allow millions upon millions of dollars to
continue to go out the door to autism centers, news
scandals regarding daycare centers. Wait until the audit of the
of the of you know, feeding our future the two
hundred and fifty million dollars with that? Why was there
any examination there. It's a few more mits of this clip, and.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I think we have to find that voice.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
We have to push back, we have to be organized,
We do have to use the courts.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
But I just want to caution everyone.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
I don't know what lent tends us to believe that
Donald Trump cares what the courts say.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
I think there needs.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
To be more to that, and I think it is
taking it to the individual people show what each of
these programs does and what it means to people's lives.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah, you know what, that last part I actually agree with,
because if you actually did that, you find out instantly
that he's lying that the programs that need to go
and prove their worth in terms of the funding aren't
any of the ones that he's mentioned us. The one
thing with a broken clock being right twice a day
at Walls was actually accurate about there at the end. Yeah,
go and examine at Walls. Why don't you go read

(20:04):
the memo for yourself. It's really astonishing. In the meantime,
here in Minnesota, his own party won't even go to work.
They're not talking about going to work for months in
the state legislature, collecting thousands of dollars in a paycheck.

(20:25):
And yet he has the nerve to go on national
media and to media here in Minnesota and whine and
complain about funding being paused while the House DFL mafia
that he presides over sits on their butts at home
or goes to schools and talks to children that aren't young.

(20:48):
You know, aren't old enough to vote, so they can
do indoctrination in the classroom, assuming everybody in there are
a bunch of children of Democrat parents, which you and
I both know isn't true, but they don't care. He's
the worst. He really is. He is, you know, Gavin
Newsom's bad. Governor Tim Walls he's dangerous. I mean, they're

(21:09):
both dangerous, but a guy that's so so willing, like
it's a second nature to him to just go out
there and lie and then throw out accusations like Elon
Musk threw up a Nazis salute. I mean, come on,
and again, the whole purpose of my doing this post
show podcast was to focus on that for just a minute,

(21:31):
because it is not a small thing. It shouldn't be
a small thing, and it's disrespectful to anybody that has
any heritage whatsoever relating to the atrocities that Hitler and
the Nazis committed to go and make a statement like that,
And if he really cared about it, wouldn't you think

(21:53):
that would be something that he would talk about all
the time. I believe that Elon Musk did an Nazi salute.
You know what that means for him Now, he just
goes and throws it out there. Rachel Maddow just accepts it.
And the worst part is his base of supporters on
the left that are too ignorant to go and think

(22:14):
beyond whatever their dear leaders are telling them. They buy
into this garbage and they believe it. The good news is,
this is what was rejected last year. Governor Tim Walls.
He was rejected last year. And what you're witnessing right
now is a Governor Tim Walls that has been desperate

(22:35):
to unleash to express his frustration that the country rejected him.
He's been silent. I mean, we've heard more of Governor
Tim Walls in less than twenty four hours over this
issue of the funding that he doesn't even have right
than we have since he returned to Minnesota after his
failed run to be vice president. And what you're hearing

(22:57):
through all of this is just misguided anger. He's really
upset because his ego got slapped down by the voters because,
thank the Good Lord Almighty, the country rejected him. Talk
about dodging all, you know, bullets of all bullets. Listen,
Elon musk It snow Nazi sympathizer, even though that's what

(23:19):
he wants to suggest. Walls is a communist, though, and
unlike his accusations of Elon Musk, there's actual evidence to
go back and look at regards to that. Friends of
Governor Tim Wallas is saying that he's mauised to the core,
wanting to go to China and Tieneman Square for wedding anniversaries.

(23:42):
I mean, I mean thirty trips there for crying out loud.
I mean, that's just the tip of the iceberg of
the evidence that's laid out of just how far left
and really anti American this guy is. It's a tragedy
that he's running the state of Minnesota, and it's an
equal tragedy that the media just lets him get away

(24:03):
with it. They don't bother to follow up with questions,
they don't bother to follow up and present the facts
to him. Give him the opportunity to just go and
correct himself. He's not a leader, He's a hack. He's
a worthless hack. All right. I got enough time to

(24:23):
go take a nap and then I gotta get started
on prep for tomorrow. So ah, well, I hope listen,
this was more just just cathartic for me because I
didn't get the opportunity to lay this out on the
show this morning, and with so many things to talk
about and cover, to spend twenty four minutes talking about
Governor Tim Walls and his ridiculous accusation that Elon Musk

(24:45):
is a Nazi. This is the stuff that post show
podcaster for. Hey, there's a side note for those of
you who have been listening long enough. I was hanging
out with Sam Sanzevir a bunch today, so I didn't
make mention of it on the show today. In my apologies,
I'm for whatever reason right now, in the middle of
recording my post show podcast, I decided to start untying

(25:07):
my boots. I have no idea why I started to
do that, because I want to take them off, that's why.
So this morning I actually was doing the show all
by myself. We didn't have any producers available, so I
was flying solo this morning, which was another reason why
I didn't get the opportunity to go into anything further,
just because I was juggling a lot of balls in

(25:27):
the air during during the three hours of the show today,
Liz Colin came in studio at the end of the show.
But I actually did the show from what typically is
the producer's booth this morning, and it was the first
time for that. But I bring up Sam because Sam
actually came over a couple times today and was helping
me out, just making sure that I had everything where
it needed to be and I had the board and
the computer all set and because these are all things

(25:49):
that the producer normally normally does, and it was nice.
We got a chance to hang out for a bit.
We haven't had a chance to talk in a while
and got to hear how she was doing, she and Hawthorne.
So I just figured I'd take a moment and mentioned
that for you longtime listeners of the of the show,
she's doing fantastic. And when the show was over, I

(26:09):
went over and hung out at K one oh two
with Chris Carr and Sam and we were talking for
a bit and joking around about teaming up together and
you know, my going on their show, and I've actually
been on their show before then, and they're if it
were able and we weren't on the air at the
same time for them to come over and hang out
with us. Things, you know, things in radio that we'd
be loved to do, but we just don't have the

(26:30):
opportunity to do so. But it was good. It was
good to be able to chat with Sam a bit
a bit today, so I forgot i'd share that with
you something positive after my rant on what an idiot
Tim Walls is. So we have a pack show tomorrow.
I mentioned today that we've got d V garten Stein Ross.
They'll be joining us early at six thirty on Thursday.

(26:52):
Katie Pavlich at eight thirty tomorrow, which is also going
to be one of the for a while at least.
Katie's not going to be able to do her week
the appearances on the show any more. Her schedule has
just gotten too busy, and I've been She's been incredibly
gracious to offer up her time every week, and I
feel really blessed with not only our friendship but the

(27:14):
fact that for over fifteen years she's been able to
do this. But all good things must come to an end.
So she will be on at least for the last
time for a while on tomorrow's show. National former National
Border Patrol Council Artoquento. We'll be on at eight o'clock
and talking about the gunfire exchanges between our US Border

(27:34):
Patrol and Border and Custom Protection and the cartels. And
then Rob Dorr from the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus and
law expert who's been spending down time down at the legislature.
He will be on with me at seven thirty tomorrow morning.
So be sure to check out our advertisers, the Good

(27:56):

going on right now. Of course, m n fat loss

(28:20):
Homestead Road is gonna be hopping back on board of
the show very soon, so be sure to reach out
to our sponsors and let them know that you heard
about them through the John Justice Show on Twin Cities
News Talk. So all right, I'm gonna go have lunch,
take a nap, and prep for tomorrow show. Thanks for
listening to this rant, and I will talk to you
guys again tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
