Can you dig it? Can you dig it? Can you
dig Welcome to the John Justice Show. I'm your host,
John Justice, and I'm glad that you have found the program.
So if you're watching this on YouTube, I hope you'll

(00:54):
like and subscribe to the channel if you don't already.
And if you're enjoying this via the podcast, I hope
you will follow along on wherever you are listening to
this podcast, whatever platform you happen to be listening to. Now,
if you're familiar with me and my Monday through Friday
job as news talk show host for Twin Cities, news
talk Am eleven thirty one oh three five FM here

(01:16):
in Minneapolis and worldwide on the iHeartRadio app. You may
be asking yourself, all right, what is this? Well, consider
this kind of the after show to my weekly radio show,
which again you can listen to on the iHeartRadio app
Monday through Friday six until nine am Central Time. Now,
if you're only familiar with me through the YouTube channel

(01:39):
and my Star Wars and Depeche Mode podcast this may
come as a surprise if you weren't aware that I'm
a conservative news talk show host as my full time job,
and so this particular show, the John Justice Show, again
is in addition to the show I do on a
daily basis. It's an opportunity to hopefully daily provide a

(02:00):
little bit of commentary on the news of the day
pop culture as well, along with my Depeche Mode and
Star Wars podcasts. And for those that have been following
along the channel for a while, you'll notice that I've
dropped the my Nerd World moniker and now I'm just
going with my name, John Justice as I do some
retooling for the end of this year heading into next year.

(02:24):
So on today's show, what I want to talk about
is a little bit of the post election reaction and
what I believe a lot of people are missing over
the results of this election. I also want to talk
a little bit about Star Wars, even though this is
not the Star Wars podcast, but it does relate to

(02:47):
the election and specifically some of what I've been posting
on my TikTok channel, which is at the John Justice
and again that's joenj Justice at the John Justice if
you want to go and check it out for yourself.
But this is an aspect of this election that I
don't think a lot of people have really understood or

(03:07):
been talking about. Regardless of whether or not you are
incredibly pleased with how this election turned out as I am,
or you're disappointed because you voted for Harris and Walls,
And this is the point that I want to make.
A lot of people are talking about Trump's victory, the

(03:28):
Republican Party being announced officially today having grabbed both the
House and the Senate in DC, giving Donald Trump the trifecta. Now,
what I'll talk about later on in the show is
how this is really spun. Not everybody right, and I
don't think it's a majority of the individuals that voted
for Kamala Harris either, but a very vocal minority in

(03:50):
size who have taken to social media to express their
displeasure with the results of this election in a number
of different ways. But the point that everybody seems to
be missing goes back to twenty twenty and the Biden
and Harris campaign then that ultimately beat Donald Trump. Now,

(04:10):
as a lot of people have pointed out, there are
still some questions lingering about the results of that election.
Be that as it may, it happened, and we're here
now and Trump has won re election after four years
of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris being in office. This election,
in these results has only further highlighted what other people
were looking at in the disparities going back to twenty twenty,

(04:32):
and particularly those millions of votes that are simply unaccounted for.
When you look at a timeline of the election in
a graft form, you can see that the twenty sixteen election,
the twenty twenty election, in the twenty twenty four election,
twenty twenty four and twenty sixteen bookend this anomaly in
the graph of Democrat voters that weren't there in twenty

(04:54):
sixteen and didn't show up in twenty twenty four. I
don't want to get into that. What I want to
get into is what Joe Biden ran on in twenty
twenty and this is the point that a lot of
people are missing. When Joe Biden ran for office, we
were in the middle of dealing with the COVID pandemic.
There was a lot of frustration regarding President Donald Trump

(05:16):
and some frustration and how he was handling the pandemic.
At the time, we were getting closer to the vaccine
coming out being widely available to everybody, and a lot
of people were frustrated. They were frustrated about all the
criticism that Donald Trump had received for the first four
years in office, all the things the Democrats said he

(05:37):
was going to do but didn't do that Biden and
Harris actually ended up doing when they were in office.
Still not the point that I want to get to.
When Biden was voted into office, there was a there
was a thought, because Biden ran on being a moderate,
that Biden would be a return to normalcy when it

(05:58):
comes to only politics. But you know who was sitting
in the White House and the presidency. He was already
the VP. He'd been in office for almost as long
as I've been alive, for crying out loud, so he's
got the name recognition, and he ran on a moderate platform,
even though he barely campaigned in twenty twenty. But most

(06:20):
people thought that Biden would get into office and the
economy would stay the way that it was, He would
rule as a moderate, wouldn't mess with a whole lot,
and they could go on with life without having to
worry about all of the criticism and complaints relating to
Donald Trump. That didn't happen. Biden got into office and

(06:42):
immediately issued some sixty two executive orders and memorandums, undoing
a vast majority of what former than President Donald Trump
had done during his time in office. This resulted in
a cavalcade of intended, in my opinion, consequences, as Biden,

(07:03):
after running as a moderate, ended up proving himself to
be or at least in the way that he conducted
his presidency as a far left radical. No, I don't
think that Biden was truly at the helm during this
entire his entire four years in office. I think there
were other people behind the scenes that were going and
doing the majority of the decision making, and Biden was

(07:25):
simply a puppet in which they were using to push
their far left wing agenda. People didn't vote for and
Biden didn't run on opening up our borders and allowing
millions upon millions of illegal aliens to come in the country.
Biden didn't run on allowing men to compete in women's sports.
Biden didn't run on making our children vulnerable to gender

(07:52):
reassignment surgeries and exposing them to explicit pornographic material in school,
those that are under age. He didn't run on any
of those things. He didn't run on flooding the country
and people with money in order to try to shore

(08:12):
up difficulties that they were enduring during COVID, which led
to the massive increase in inflation. I mean, the list
goes on and on and on. People thought they were
voting for a moderate and they got anything. But when
Donald Trump decided that he was going to run for
reelection again, even I was a bit hesitant, like, it's

(08:33):
this the best move. I'm so glad that he did,
because this is what had to happen. What the results
told us was that the country was tired of it.
The country is still a center in this case right
country and rejected all of the far leftist Marxist ideas

(08:53):
that Biden didn't run on but ended up producing during
his time in office. And the difference between what Biden
did and what Trump has done is that Trump he
is now executing the mandate of which the voters approved
of in both the electoral college and in the national
popular vote, a complete and total rejection of everything that

(09:18):
Biden and Harris and the far left Democrats did over
the course of four years but didn't say that they
were going to do when they were running for office.
When Biden and Harris were running for office in twenty twenty,
if the country had voted for all those things, I'd
give it to you, not give it to you, but
i'd understand certainly the freak out that's taking place now.

(09:38):
But they didn't, and I think the vast majority of
Democrats in the country have accepted that fact. But we
live in a world that's interconnected in a way that
I certainly never expected it as I was growing up,
and in a way that we as humans, I don't
think are prepared to deal with and shouldn't be. We
should be having face to face one on one personal connections.
We shouldn't be simply connected through our phones, our children,

(10:02):
and our young people. And gen Z I hope will
do a better job of making sure that they don't
only conduct themselves and their groups on their dopamine machines
in their hands, because we've lost that sense of connectivity
to one another and that's not healthy for society. But

(10:26):
there's a freak out going on right now because there
is a portion of the population that thought that that's
what Biden and Harris had run on, even though the
rest of the country realized that wasn't what they ran
on and rejected what they ended up doing with their
time in office. And I really do feel bad for
that group of individuals right now that simply doesn't seem
to be able to cope with the results of this election.

(10:49):
When you go through the different stages of grief, I'm
wondering whether or not these individuals that are so vocal
online in posting their videos on Instagram and TikTok and
YouTube are going to you ever reach that level of
the acceptance phase when you go through the different stages
of grief, and they only have their own party to
blame because it's their party that lied to them.

It's their party that told them that this is what
everybody wants and this is the way to go, and
it simply isn't the case. Let me give you a
further example of this and something I've noticed, and this
is where Star Wars comes into play. And I didn't

(11:57):
want to do this on my Star Wars podcast because
I typically try to avoid politics because I want everybody
listening to my Depeche Mode podcast and my Star Wars podcast,
and I don't hide the fact that I'm a conservative
radio talk show host or by any stretch. But I
also know that not everybody that enjoys Star Wars, which
is certainly the case in the story that I'm about
to tell you, is conservative by any stretch. But on TikTok,

(12:21):
and I would encourage you to head on over to
my TikTok page again at the John Justice and check
this out. But if you've been on TikTok, and certainly
if you're a Star Wars fan, you've probably seen this.
And it's Star Wars fans Kamala Harris voters upset over
the results of the election, and they've been using the

(12:41):
Obi Wan Kenobi speech from one of the animated Star
Wars shows, where it is the message that he sends
out into the galaxy warning the Jedi to stay away
because the Empire has risen to power and the Jedi
have los, telling them not to lose hope and to

(13:04):
trust in the force, and it has the amazing somber
music in the background. I think Kevin Kiner did it.
For those that don't know, I'm a massive Star Wars fan.
As I mentioned, I do a Star Wars podcast. My
dad took me to see a New Hope in the
movie theater since I was five years old. I actually
have one of the original Star Wars posters without the
New Hope on it, that was released back in nineteen

(13:24):
seventy seven, that actually hung in a movie theater lobby.
It's up in my living room. I've been a Star
Wars fan my entire life, and I was a Star
Wars fan before I was a fan of anything. However,
there's been individuals that have been using that piece of
Star Wars audio of Obi Wan Kenobi's story too. I
know they're trying to console each other and they're trying

(13:46):
to make themselves feel better. I posted a video online
because I just find it kind of ridiculous. I do.
They're not in any sort of risk of losing their
rights by any stretch at all. Most of the individuals,
you can see by their ages, they live through four

(14:06):
years of Donald Trump before. I don't understand why they
have allowed themselves to succumb to the fear that was
peddled by Biden and then subsequently Harris when she kicked
them off the top of the ticket, that that Trump
is some sort of existential threat to democracy. They're not
going to lose any rights in all of this, and

(14:28):
they're essentially equating Republicans and conservatives to being the empire
of all things and they're the Jedi. Honestly, it's just stupid.
So I posted this video up I expressed my opinion.
It's shorter than that. It was about sixty seconds, and
I really really ticked people off. I take people off
because I use the term subtle as it relates to

(14:51):
politics and Star Wars, and people use that to make
issue over my comments. Overall, I don't want to say
I did that intentionally, but kinda did that intentionally, and
the reason being is because of this, I know that
Star Wars is embedded with politics. I said it was
subtly embedded with politics, even though I know George Lucas
was inspired by politics the Ewoks in Returner of the

(15:13):
Jedi and that entire conflict on end Or at the
end of the film was inspired by the Vietnam War.
He said as much. Certainly, when you go to the
prequel trilogy, there's politics in the Senate. That's all that's
in there. I mentioned subtle because George made an ambiguous
enough that regardless of whether or not you're a Republican,
a Democrat, or a libertarian or whatever, you can basically

(15:33):
look at the story of Star Wars and you can
go and lay on top of it whatever your political
views are. So in the case of individuals upset about
Kamala Harris losing the election using the Obi Wan Kenobi's
speech of trust in the force and we lost the
we lost the battle, but we still have to win
the war type of thing. They see Republicans and Conservatives

(15:55):
as the empire and they're the Jedi. Well here's the truth.
And this is what really made people mad, because I
put another video up today to respond to the other one.
Oh and by the way, before I get to that,
the individuals that were responding to that first video, right
while I said it was dumb to be able to
use that audio, I didn't go and disparage anybody that
was using it saying that they were dumb. I just
thought the use of that was stupid. Everybody's entitled to

(16:17):
their opinion. That's why we have the country that we
live in and why we have free speech. But really
it's the left that wants to go and target free
speech it's the left and Democrats that want to go
in silence platforms like x. It's the left and the
leftist media that when and silenced major news stories. It

(16:37):
even happened here in Minnesota. We had a group of Democrats,
Somali leaders here in Minnesota, and this is a huge deal.
Who on the Saturday before the election decided to go
and throw their endorsement behind Donald Trump. All the media
was there, and there was one outlet called Alpha News
that covered the story. Nobody else did until today, Thursday,

(17:01):
more than a week after the election, the biggest newspaper
in the state of Minnesota just decided not to report
on a group of prominent Democrats Somali leaders throwing their
support behind the Republican President, more specifically Donald Trump. Here
in Minnesota, Governor Tim Wallas, who ran for VP, he's
our governor. He's awful. He set up a hotline for

(17:24):
neighbors to tattle on their neighbors who weren't following COVID protocol.
He decided who the winners or losers were going to
be during the COVID lockdowns. He decided to keep open
those big businesses, your Targets, your Walmart, your Lows, while
he was later on going and vilifying those same big
businesses right out on the campaign trail when he was

(17:45):
trying to be VP for Kamala Harris. He's the one
that put senior citizens in nursing homes, just like what
happened in New York City where they died, because he
thought that that was the best move, even though he
knew nothing about the science related to COVID. He's the
one that allows certain procedures relating to our most vulnerable

(18:05):
up until the time of birth. Yes, it's true. Do
your research, you'll find out it is. So you tell
me who's more like the empire, Republicans and conservatives who
embrace freedom of speech you're right to keep in bare
arms personal responsibility, or the left who is out there
like they were in those videos. And this is the

(18:25):
part I hadn't gotten to yet, saying that I voted
for Palpatine, that I voted for Darth Vader, that Darth
Vader was an evil person, and so am I cursing
me in those videos because they simply didn't like my opinion.
Those are the individuals that I wonder are if they're
ever going to be able to reach that level of
acceptance when it comes to the stages of grief. My

(18:47):
last point on here, and it goes back to Star Wars,
and that is the beauty about Star Wars again, is
that you can take whatever political belief that you have
and lay it on top of the storytelling. That's what
makes the politics so subtle. When I watch Star Wars
and I see the battle of good versus evil, and
the Empire versus the Jedi, the Dark versus the Light,
I legitimately see because I follow this stuff on a

(19:07):
daily basis and I do my research that if you're
going to go and apply the empire towards any political party,
there is no other party than the Democrats and the
far leftists who have been ruining this country for the
past four years. And why America decided to not only
give Trump an electoral vote win, but also a national

(19:29):
popular vote win, despite every single attempt that they had
to vilify and demonize him. It was a complete rejection
of everything the Biden Empire attempted to do over the
course of their four years. And isn't it interesting that
in the end Biden invites Donald Trump to the White House,

(19:50):
smile on his face, talking about a peaceful transition after
all of the Conservatives and Republicans are Nazis. The Trump
is like Hitler the Madison Square Garden rally. Kamala Harris
too in her concession speech. If Trump really is the
second coming of Hitler? Why would you go and concede

(20:10):
to that? If he really is that bad, if he
really is a threat to democracy, why would you give
up the fight? Oh, I'm sorry, you probably haven't heard that.
There's a group of individuals also on social media that
believe that Kamala Harris has been so quiet because they
have a secret plan in place to undo the results
of this election. There's also the rumor that Elon Musk

(20:34):
and Starlink somehow was powerful enough to go and make people,
through his satellite power back down on Earth go and
vote for Trump and JD. Vans we can call that Kanon.
Isn't it interesting that all of the criticisms and complaints
relating to conservatives suddenly now Democrats are the ones that
are denying the results of this election. And again, to

(20:59):
sort of wend the show today, when Biden ran for office,
he did not run for office against Trump in twenty
twenty on a platform of what he has done the
past four years, and that is one reason and a
big reason why you had him lose this election and
Donald Trump and JD. Vans and the Republicans have their

(21:22):
resounding win. Thank you so much for checking out the
show again. I hope that if you're watching this on YouTube,
you'll like and subscribe to the channel. Feel free to
leave a comment down below. You can email me whenever
you like. Talkshow Nerd at gmail dot com, talkshow Nerd

the podcast, I hope that you will subscribe to this
show again. An addition to my weekly radio show Monday

(21:45):
through Friday, six until nine am on the iHeart Radio app.
My intent is to perhaps do daily content here. We'll
see how that plays out and how time permits. But
thank you so much for checking out this show. And
if you like depeche Mode or you like Star Wars,
really looking forward to both episodes this week, especially with
Star Wars where it looks like Disney and Lucasfilm are

(22:07):
finally solidifying the future of the franchise. Relating to one
particular character, one of my favorites, Ray Skywalker, so I'll
be talking about that and it should be posted probably
by the time you're able to go and check this out.
Either way, thank you so much for watching, and wherever
you are, I hope you're happy, regardless of political party.
I hope you're happy. I hope you're healthy. I hope
you're safe. God blessed, and thank you so much for watching,

(22:29):
and thank you so much for listening.
