#101 GET READY FOR IMPACT_ The Next Wave of SPIRITUAL TESTS Will Leave Many Shaken!

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), covenants are considered sacred agreements between God and individuals or groups, where God sets specific conditions and promises to bless those who obey these conditions.
Here are some examples of covenants in the LDS Church: Baptism and Confirmation * Covenant to take upon oneself the name of Jesus Christ * Promise to always remember Him and keep His commandments * Promise to serve Him to the end * Promised blessings: forgiveness of sins, presence of the Holy Ghost, coming forth in the first resurrection, and receiving eternal life[3] The Melchizedek Priesthood (for men only) * Covenant to be faithful to receive the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods * Promise to magnify assigned calling * Promised blessings: sanctification by the Spirit unto the renewing of the body, becoming the son of Moses and Aaron and the seed of Abraham, receiving all that God has, and exaltation[3] ### Temple Endowment * Covenant of obedience * Covenant of sacrifice * Covenant of the gospel * Covenant of chastity * Covenant of consecration * Promised blessings: admission into the presence of God, exaltation, and continuation of the seeds forever and ever. ### Celestial Marriage * Covenant to love spouse with heart, might, mind, and strength * Promise to keep other commandments * Promised blessings: coming forth in the first resurrection, inheriting thrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights and depths, having one's name written in the Lamb's Book of Life, exaltation, and continuation of the seeds forever and ever These covenants are considered part of the overarching "new and everlasting covenant" of the gospel, and keeping them is essential for happiness and eventually receiving eternal life
