I have a wonderful guest named Allison, and her full name is
Allison Smith Martin. She's from Arizona.
She's an animal specialist for animal communication, pet grief
support, and she's an energy healer.
(02:16):
And I'd like to welcome Allison to the show now.
Hi. Hi, Allison.
Hi, Rosemary. Thank you so much for having me.
I'm really excited to be here. I'm excited to meet you on this
bright and shiny early time for you.
It's 10 AM here. I know you're up at the at the
crack of dawn by you, so I really appreciate your time.
(02:37):
So yeah, I'm interested. I'm so interested in what you
do. So I know that you you love your
animals like we do. So I'd like you just to tell me
a little bit about who you are and what you do.
OK, well I've been working with pets and their people for over
25 years currently. Yes, I am an animal
(02:57):
communicator, which means I helppeople understand what their
animals are thinking and feelingand needing resolve any issues.
We also communicate with pets inspirit and Ioffer energy
healing, yes. So I've created kind of, I
started off with Reiki for animals and then I moved into my
(03:18):
own blend through the years of energy therapy using
specifically crystals. So I fell in love with crystals
years and years ago. Just their kind of magical
therapy, healing abilities and pet grief.
Grief has just been a big part of my life, unfortunately.
(03:41):
And so helping people with through the, you know, the loss
of their beloved animal family has been something very special
to me. And I've created a program
specifically for that and and I also teach animal communication
and teach a few other holistic care things.
So my whole world is animals, animals and animals.
(04:06):
I love it. I love it.
So it's a couple of things there.
So I do. I'm a Reiki master teacher and I
know that once you start on thispath, you're psychic gifts open.
One one of my other friends is also an animal communicator and
does the Reiki, but I know that once you're using this energy,
like other stuff opens to a great deal.
So when you first started learning animal Reiki, did you
(04:28):
find that soon after you were able to connect with pets?
Or was it something you were always able to kind of do but
didn't know you were doing it orwhat?
What? What happened with the animal
communication part for you? Yeah, that's a, that's a really
interesting question. I think looking back, it was
certainly a deep connection thatnow I see I always had.
(04:51):
However, I truly believe everybody has the natural
intuitive ability to learn to communicate with animals.
We really do. We need to have that intention
in our heart and a few other things.
And it it happened that I was learning at animal Reiki and
animal communication, I knew I wanted to study animal
(05:13):
communication professionally. So I was learning them both at
the same time basically. And so that was really fun.
But what I have found is that being on this path of animal
communication has opened up a completely new world for me.
You know, all of these beautifulmodalities are connected and one
(05:35):
leads to another, right? Then the crystals came into my
life and they're. Ah, OK.
I also do Healing Touch for Animals, which is a really
wonderful program. And yeah, it's, it's just
amazing what opens up, I think. Yes, yeah, I, I, I believe that
too, because once you're on thispath, other things start to
(05:56):
unlock. And once you value it, it opens
even further. So that that's really
interesting. So I know, you know, we all
experience grief. We love our pets and they do
crossover. We always live longer than them.
And we we had a loss this last year.
We lost one of our beloved animals that my husband rescued
and she was an Angel. This dog was an absolute Angel
(06:17):
and he was heartbroken, like grief stricken for quite a
while. So that's why we got Tina
Arbijan Poodle, who's just a clown.
She's hysterical and she brings back like the happiness and the
joy in our home. And then we also have a very old
Kapu who she lives to eat and that's all she can do.
You know, she, she can't see andhear.
(06:38):
She, you know, she has accidentsall the time, but she's still,
you know, plugging away there, you know?
Yeah. Yeah, so, you know, we've
experienced loss with our pets too.
And I know it's it's a beautifulthing that you offer a healing
service for, for pet owners because that's probably the
worst part when you have a love pet, you know, to let them go.
(07:01):
Oh, absolutely, yeah. And I have so many clients that
reach out to me as well. You know, is it time?
Is my, you know, dog, cat, whomever, are they ready to go?
How are they feeling about this? And and there's so much that we
can do in in this work, in this realm of supporting the people
and the animals while the the animals are still living and
(07:25):
then certainly after they have passed.
So yeah, brings a lot of peace and comfort.
I, I really think that the animals are more ready to go
then we're ready to let them go.And I think sometimes people
will hang on, hang on and the animal is trying to help us.
So they stay around because theydon't want to hurt mommy and
daddy, but they might be ready to go before we're ready to let
(07:45):
them go, you know, And I, I think that's something that I
found with people I've, I've metthrough the years too.
You know, you don't want to prolong an animal and have it be
in, in discomfort and pain. And I don't know.
What's your thoughts on that? Yeah, absolutely.
Rosemary Kosh, there's, there's so much there.
(08:07):
Yes, an animal will definitely hold on for us.
And what can happen is because so telepathy, animal
communication, intuitive interspecies communication, all
of the different words that we have for this work is that is
their natural language. That's how they're communicating
with each other, in addition to body language, of course, and
(08:29):
some few other things, but mainly it's telepathy throughout
the species. And they are able to understand
our thoughts and our feelings, of course, because that's that's
only natural for them. So if we're saying I'm ready to
let you go that inside, we're really not inside.
(08:51):
We're falling apart. And they, they understand that,
they know that they're picking up on that.
And so they're getting a mixed message.
And it can be really important to be honest with them.
I just worked with a client yesterday on this to say I will
be OK. Yes, I will probably fall apart
(09:12):
for a while but I will be OK andI want to release you when when
you are ready. So sometimes I think we have to
feel like we may hide our feelings from our animal family,
but we can't hide them. They know exactly how we're
feeling and when we hide them that causes confusion for them
(09:35):
and even cause some anxiety and things like that.
So it's really best to have open, honest conversations with
them. Yeah, I, I agree.
I also feel, and this is something that, you know, I live
in a very old house and when I first moved in, I felt like a
cat jumping on my bed. And I knew we didn't have a cat
at the time, so I thought it wasa spirit cat that was kind of
(09:58):
visiting. But do you feel that our animals
visit us when they're on the other side?
Do you believe that they stop in?
And I, I believe my dog's been around like checking on the new
ones, you know, and I've always kind of felt that.
Do you have that understanding or that belief?
Oh, completely. Yes, absolutely they do.
And whether whether we are realizing it or not, you know,
(10:22):
there could be a couple of different things.
Sometimes we may be so blocked, we're in so much pain that we're
not happen myself as an animal communicator, like I've had to
reach out to animal communication friends and say
help, I can't connect. I'm in such a, such a deep state
of grief. So that can be 1 where they are
still there, they're right therewith us.
But we're we can't, can't feel it, can't see it because we're
(10:44):
hurting so badly. Or we may discount or we may
negate. Oh, I think I'm getting these
signs, but no, I'm probably justmaking that up.
That's so then here they are. But we're not understanding that
or feeling it. So absolutely they are.
(11:05):
What I find so often is their energy, of course, when, when
they're in spirit can be anywhere at all.
And, and it does circle back to us and is I, I believe most
often from what I hear from the animals and the clients that I'm
working with, is the part of that energy comes and just just
(11:28):
comes right back and stays right.
And it never just completely goes away.
It goes off doing what it needs to kind of do, and then comes
back. Yeah, I believe that.
When I lost our golden several years ago, I remember I had a
dream of her. And she said this like intense
beam of love to my heart. And then she was standing
outside of a dog cage and she said, I'm coming back.
(11:52):
And she pointed to the little dog that was in the crate, and
we had gotten a dog. I swear it was the one that's
the old cockapoo. Now, the coloring was exactly
the same, completely different breed, but she had the same
white streak in her hair. It came right up to me.
And I really felt that part of that other animal's soul kind of
like hijacked into the one we have now to a certain extent.
(12:13):
So yeah, I don't know. But I always felt like that that
was part of our other dog that that hijacked into this new one
we had. Oh, absolutely.
I love hearing stories about that because that's absolutely
possible. We have that now with a couple
of our dogs and the other dogs that have passed into spirit
(12:36):
have popped into into these boys.
And it's so clear you can not only see some of it, but but you
also feel that my husband does as well.
He's like, oh, you know, Riley'shere's Riley, right?
And Oliver. And yeah, it's it's really of
fun to see that and to witness that.
(12:57):
And and we don't know how how does that happen, right?
We talk about the whole, you know, reincarnation is a whole
another hour long topic, right? But you know, yes, I do.
They, they absolutely can come back as as part.
And I, I see the popping in not there all the time where they
can, you know, reincarnate fullyor, you know, on and on some
(13:20):
kinds of magic that happens. Yeah, I've had weird things.
I've done Angel reading since 93, and occasionally a pet will
pop in to someone's reading. It's not often, but occasionally
it will. And like, I had one woman who
had a horse in a past life and it came back as a as a very
powerful dog in this lifetime and it made species.
(13:41):
I'm like, that's really weird. I didn't know that could happen.
But apparently that's something that an animal can choose to do
if it if it wants you to be closer to a human.
So I thought that was interesting too.
That was something like, oh, that was neat.
I learned that a while ago. Yes, yes, I've seen that as
well. And it is.
It's, it's fascinating. Yeah, or get a cat that that was
(14:02):
a dog. I, my, my cat would speak dogs.
So they were raised together andmy cat would growl and speak to
the dog and then the dogs would back off.
She never hurt the dog, never scratched the dog, but she acted
like a dog. And it was crazy because she
knew how to communicate with these, you know, with my dogs
and other weird thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
(14:25):
So. OK, so let me just check the
time. OK, So what type of things to do
most animals want their pet owners to know.
Is there like a like a thread ofsomething you found is common
that an animal would say to mom or dad?
This is what I want you to know.Oh yes, yes, so often it is, you
(14:48):
know, the, the, the, the person's question might be that
that exactly what, what do they need or what can I do that I'm
not? And mostly without a doubt, they
just want to be with us and not,not with us having any
(15:08):
distractions or anything like that.
And it doesn't have to be along like the, you know, 30 minutes a
day or anything. It's like just take a few
minutes and simply be let's justshare this love that we have for
each other. And it's the biggest gift that
we can give our animal family who who can continuously giving
(15:33):
us that unconditional love. It really do with them.
And of course, in doing that, it's also them again, giving
back to us because we think of that peace in our heart, that
calm, all of the physical and emotional, mental everything,
all of that, that just being with our animals does for us as
(15:55):
well. It it's just such a huge
benefit. So I think that's probably the
top one. I believe so.
I'll share after the the break. I'm going to share a story about
my cat and how the cat helped me.
So we're going to have a sponsorbreak.
This is a light Walker's path, Bold Brave TV and my guest today

Walkers Path, Grow your Spirit with Rosemary and my guest from
the Animal Soul Connection. This is Allison Smith Martin,
and we've been talking about theconnection with animals and our
(18:33):
heart and the love they give us.And before break, I was saying
that I would share something about the cat that I had.
So years ago, my husband rescueda cat because he was working at
the park at the time. And this little cat was very
brave. And it came out with all its
sisters. And we adopted out all the other
cats and we kept the one Jay, the little tabby.
And Jay was kind of fearless andshe would always, like, sleep on
(18:56):
my neck at night. And that year my father was also
dying. So the cat would sleep on me
here and then go like this to myhair like my mother did, you
know, when I was a little girl? And she would gently do that.
As this cat got older, whenever I had a hot flash or I felt
sick, she would jump on me. And she would stay there till my
body cooled and then she'd jump off.
(19:18):
If I was sad or my husband was sad, she would run in from
whatever room she was in and jump on us and stay on our heart
center until we felt better. And she was just an amazing cat.
That's the one that spoke dog. And, you know, was was just
amazing with our with our dogs as well.
And you know, never hurt them, never scratched anyone.
It was a very sweet cat. So yeah, I was very sad when I
(19:41):
let when when I had to let her go.
But we had her for a long time, so that that's my, that's my cat
story. Oh my gosh, that's so beautiful.
What a wonderful spirit. Oh my goodness.
I imagine you continue to feel her now or see her.
I do, I, I have, and I've dreamtof her a couple times.
The other weird thing that happens, I've always had this
(20:02):
weird connection with animals. So they'll come like I've had a
bird I pet on top of the head, bumblebees, Hawks, you know, all
kinds of weird things with animals.
But we also get a lot of animalsthat have stopped at my house
that were lost. They would just come to my door
and they and they would say, OK,I don't know where I am, you
know, and, and we would help them or, you know, find their
owner or, or call somebody. But yeah, it's been, it's been
(20:26):
funny with the animal thing. That's so cool.
They can sense that energy, you know, Of course they can.
So I feel like they're they're drawn then to you in that way,
no doubt. Yes, that's wonderful.
Yeah. So as far as the crystals, so I
also have a cool connection withcrystals when I'm doing the
Reiki and when I work on clients.
(20:46):
So when you're doing pet work, are you working virtually or are
you in someone's home? Or do you do both?
Generally virtually. I work with clients all over the
world. I do sessions in person but but
not as often definitely. So it's it's about sending that
(21:09):
that crystal energy. Yeah, Yeah, I, I found the same
thing. And I think, you know, people
have have to wrap their minds around that energy does travel.
And I know we know this as Reikipeople because we can send
energy, you know, you have that, that entrainment of the, the
molecules of both and the thought process, etcetera.
But it's really interesting thatwe can connect with a pet in
(21:32):
that way. So my question is, are you a
visual person? Because I know my husband has a
really easy, like he's real visual.
So like he had an easier time like telling the dog what he
wanted through his mind. Then at first mate to like
practice that skill. Are you a visual person or are
you using your other skills to connect?
I, I think all of the, you know, when we talk about the, the
(21:54):
Claire's, I didn't think all of the most of them.
Certainly I am quite visual, yes.
So when I am doing a session, whether it's energy or animal
communication, I do see a lot ofthings in my mind's eye, but I
also have a lot of just that simple knowing feeling, right.
So the and and then I also will receive words, sentences I
(22:18):
received, times, physical or emotional sensations in my body
from an animal. Yes.
So you're sort of so it's. Yes, yeah.
So it's kind of, you know, bits and pieces and you don't hear.
I don't want to get off on the off on this track if if we're
not going down this track. But it what I found to be
(22:39):
fascinating is animals. In an animal communication
session, I've had them adapt their way of communicating that
fits their person best. That makes sense.
I'm so fascinating. So I am more visual and maybe an
animal's sending me a lot of visual signs and I'm sharing
(23:01):
that, you know, the things that I'm seeing.
Maybe the person's just having alittle bit of a of trouble.
Just just get get getting into the to the groove of the whole
thing. Then I'll have an animal switch
up and start sending more words and sentences.
Let's say the person is very visual or not verbal, and then
it's like, then it's clicking. Wow, animal just completely
(23:25):
change their communication styleto match what their person
needs. I just find that fascinating.
Yeah. Do you find that their voices
sound different to you? Like when you're hearing, let's
say one dog or a cat, are their voices like sounding different
to your ear or to your insight or you just catch more of a
personality idea? Yeah.
(23:46):
So for me, it's more of a personality.
I have had students though that that do have more of the hearing
or Will will, like I had someonerecently like this, the dog I'm,
I'm hearing like an old man's voice and kind of a young dog
and which I think is really fun.Yeah.
(24:08):
Yeah, I had a reading I did years ago.
A woman had a dog she loved and she named the dog Pissy.
And the dog was so incensed. And the dog said to me, I am not
pissy. I I am a royal dog.
And it wanted this like very grandiose name.
And I said, please tell mother to call me this instead of that.
And I just cracked up. And I'm like, what's the deal
(24:29):
with your dog? And she says, you know, my dog
always thinks it's like a, the head of the household kind of
dog. And I said, well, the dog's very
incensed with this name. You're calling it, you know, So
I thought that was very funny. Every once in a while, I'll get
like, a weird one like that, youknow, someone will come in that
when I'm doing a reading, an Angel reading and then an
animal, I'm like, who are you? What are you doing here, You
know? Oh.
(24:49):
That's fun, isn't that? Yeah, that's wonderful.
And they do have can have very strong opinions on their names.
Absolutely. I've had that happen many times.
Like I do not like my name or sometimes the client will say do
they like their name? And then sometimes they make
like a name change and it makes a huge difference.
Oh, I bet. I bet yeah, I I found too, like,
(25:12):
you know, I for me, when you have a pet, they'll kind of tell
you what name feels right. Like when I had my my dog, she
was Tiny Tina and she's got a big personality, but she's a
little dog and she's like, very proud, you know, and and that's
a personality. And my other one is a diva, the
old cockapoo. She's a diva.
Everything's her way. She, you know, we are her
(25:32):
herself, her royal subjects. That's really how her
personality is. And like, like she's always been
like that since she's been little, you know, and it's.
Early. They're so different.
They are. It's incredible.
I saw a picture with you with some horses.
Do you own horses? Or two?
How many? Yes, I have two horses and two
(25:55):
goats and five dogs. Oh, look at you.
Wow. Yes, yes.
So grateful. Yes, of course.
They have been a, you know, lifelong horse lover since I was
a little little girl, you know, one of those those girls versus
horses, horses. And yeah, just so, so grateful
(26:17):
to have them. I've got a beautiful Palomino
gelding name Snap, and a beautiful Gray rescue mare that
I named Audrey after Audrey Hepburn.
She's got a little bit of air inher, so she has a longer neck
and those big eyes, you know, and Audrey Hepburn, so.
That's cool. It's funny, I, I the first time
(26:39):
I was ever on a horse, I was probably in my mid 30s and I was
always afraid to get on a horse. So I said, all right, I have to
learn this year how to get on a horse.
So I did like a little trail ride and don't you know the dog?
You know, I believe that they they read your energy, right.
So I'm going down the trail and all of a sudden it turns and
starts running the other way. And I had to like say no.
And I had to, you know, kind of direct the horse and I was
(27:01):
scared to death because I had never been on a horse up on me,
but it worked. It then it's like, OK, all
right, I can't, I can't put one over on her.
So she started walking nicely, but.
Oh my gosh. So yeah, but that's, I'm not
really a horse, a horse rider. My sister in laws both love
horses. My my husband loves horses, you
(27:21):
know, they're comfortable on them.
You know, in New Jersey you wouldn't think, but there's
horses in New Jersey, you know? Yeah, they're probably one of
the biggest teachers in being present without a doubt, because
we could be with our dogs and cats and whomever think that
we're being present, but we can still have little thought.
(27:43):
We might might be thinking aboutsomething else, whatever it is.
But when we're out with horses, for our safety, for theirs, we
really need to be fully present. And that is such a gift again,
that they are giving us to because first of all, just to be
in my my mind, to be in a horse's energy in their presence
is magic. You know, they, they just have
(28:07):
this, this huge energy field, first of all.
But yeah, they're, they're amazing.
We had a beautiful horse that lived down the road from me and
whenever I'd walk the dogs or ifand walk past, she would come
there and she was so gentle. She'd let you pet her on the
face and and tussle her hair andshe was just a very sweet, I
(28:27):
call it a dog, a very sweet horse.
Yeah. We loved her.
And then my dog, my dogs would go up, I had my grandkids, they
would like go up and say hi to the horse.
And it's just a very sweet, sweet horse.
But I find, I guess too, you know, they all have very unique
personalities, just like dogs and cats do.
So. That was gentle natured animal.
(28:47):
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, fascinating.
OK so I have a question because this is an issue I have with my
dogs. I thought I would ask you.
My dog is old and I don't she doesn't always know when she has
to go to the bathroom so she's having a lot of accidents.
Is this something that for an older dog it could be kind of
(29:08):
guided or is it just a part of having an older dog?
I'm just curious because we've tried everything.
Yeah, you you mean as far as? Accidents use accidents, you
know. So what?
What could you do to prevent theaccidents mean or?
Is there a way or is it just because she's old, you know?
So I mean, I don't know. Yeah, and she's been to what?
(29:32):
What does the, what does your veterinarian say?
Is it just kind of old age bladder?
They they say thin your sundown and that she has that like you
know little she the elevator is not reaching the top.
Yeah, she's got some comments. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
(29:52):
That's that is that, that's, that's tough.
I think. Yeah, I, you know, I think the
best that we can do at that point is to just simply support
them with, with love and, you know, tell her that it's OK and
to just kind of, you know, as, as we would maybe a, a human
(30:14):
too. Just this is how it is.
And you know I love you unconditionally and just keep on
cleaning up the accidents. And that's what we've been
doing. And it's, it's funny this the
little one will like, she'll come up and get me like, you
know, Sky did something and thenwe'd run down and, you know, but
(30:35):
the little one in the morning, she's the little 1 sleeps in our
bed. She'll run down, she'll wake
Skye up and then they both go outside.
And that's usually, you know, the second time that Sky will
usually go middle of the night, but the second time she'll go
outside. But then later in the day,
sometimes she forgets, you know,so.
A little. Bit.
With the with the cognitive thing, if she's that's just not
(30:57):
as you said, it's not connectingand she is urinating because she
has to go. It's so yeah, we're.

Generation and Pamela D wilson.com welcome back.
This is a light Walker's path. Grow your spirit with Rosemary.
And my wonderful guest is from Arizona.
Her name is Allison Smith Martinanimal soul connection.
And we were talking about the connection between animals and
(33:37):
us and how we communicate with them.
And our last discussion was on the power of horses of courses
and and how they give love to usand how they're very present
with the now. Right.
OK. So I will ask you, what are some
of the unique ways that you connect with your clients or
(34:00):
with pets? What are some of the unique
things that you or experiences you've had connecting with
animals or their pet owners? Neat.
Gosh, I think it's really so much about coming from the heart
and and listening really, this is I found animal communication
(34:24):
to be more even than I had expected, as I've been doing
this for years. What I'm finding is it truly is
I look at animal communication. Well, first of all, I view it as
a very sacred experience. These are sentient beings that
(34:46):
are choosing to have a conversation with us.
And to me, that's a really big deal.
They do not have to do this. They have free will.
And first of all, for them to even want to do this, I think is
quite remarkable. And to always approach these
communications, these conversations with them with
humility and respect for who they are.
(35:08):
There's a, a wonderful quote. I'm actually going to grab it
because I'm thinking that I'm going to forget it if I I don't
do it right. But I want to just read this
real quickly. So this is by Charles Little
Leaf and it is animals are not just living things.
They are beings with lives, unique individuals with
(35:29):
personality traits, emotional profiles, and a library of
knowledge built on experience. What you are witnessing is not
just biology, but a biography. Love that that's the.
Isn't that beautiful to me, thatthumbs up everything that I feel
(35:51):
about animal communication. Yes, I love that.
So another another strange thingI wanted to share is that I
believe that we call animals in So one of my weird experiences,
I was a school teacher for 32 years and I was teaching my
third grade students. I'm like, oh, snakes are our
friends. I'm terrified of snakes, right?
Well, not terrified. I just don't like them right.
(36:12):
And I'm like, snakes are our friends.
You know, they're wonderful. So the next day in my kitchen, I
saw my cat and her head's going like this.
And I'm like, uh oh. We actually had a snake come
from the bottom of our home. It's an old house underneath the
hole underneath my my oven. And it was sneaking out to see
(36:35):
me. And I know it's because I talked
about that darn snake the day before.
So my husband captured it, sent it outside.
The next day another snake came in and you know, the cat again,
the head was like this. So he got rid of that.
We sealed up all the holes. I'm like, darn it, you know, I
mentioned the snake. The other thing that happened, I
have a garden and I have Fred and his family that would move
(36:57):
into my garden every spring. So like Fred would sit there
curled up and I'd go, Fred, I'm terrified of you.
Don't be around when I'm wedding.
You could stay here. I don't want to see you.
So eventually, you know, Fred, Fred moved out of the way.
But like it, it's funny because I don't like snakes at all.
I know they have a purpose. I, I, you know, they're
wonderful because they help us, but I, they give me the creeps.
(37:20):
So do you have any work with like lizard snakes or any of
those kind of critters that you've got?
Yeah, absolutely. I love that.
Yeah. Of course, Arizona.
Yeah, of course we have, you know, rattlesnakes and we've got
it. We've got it all, you know, Hilo
monsters and trashlas and the various lizards and all sorts of
(37:42):
creatures here. And yes, so I have communicated
with them, absolutely. It's no different really.
So it's no different communicating with animals in
the wild compared to our domestic animals.
You know, I've had conversationswith a really lovely praying
mantis years ago, some dragonflies certainly.
(38:05):
We have these darling little, I think there's some sort of ring
necked lizard gecko. I I don't know what they are.
And they get to maybe I don't know, like that big or so.
And they hang out in the garage and they're so friendly.
So yes, I talked to them and personally we have lots of birds
in the quail and I talked to yeah.
So I'm always done talking to everybody.
(38:28):
And also I will try to talk to the snakes as well and say just
you can be out front on our, we have some property, of course
can be out front. That's your domain.
That's totally fine. But don't come in the yard.
You know, we we do not kill them, but we do have to call the
(38:52):
fire department to come and retrieve out a snake if it's in
the backyard. And then they relocate it miles
away so that it doesn't come back to this area.
But anyway, it's. Yeah.
So there's so much that we can do with that as far As for
having preachers, just like you did with a gardener snake.
That's perfect to say, please don't come in this area while
(39:14):
I'm meeting. I understand that, you know, and
I love that you're saying you'rethinking about something, right.
And then they show up. We just had that happen a couple
nights ago. My husband said that.
And the tarantulas are harmless,right?
So we're not bothered by tarantulas at all.
They're they're lovely. And they're, they're absolutely
fine. But he said, gosh, we haven't
(39:35):
seen any tarantulas yet this year.
And sure enough, of course, the next night there's a tarantulas.
Last night there was one on the front porch.
So here they are. You know, you start, yeah, you
put that out there. So yeah, it's fun though to see
that happen because to me it's such a clear connection of of
(39:55):
our oneness with nature. It's not a coincidence, then I
no, no, no, not at all. I, I have this other thing with
spiders. I, I, I used to play with
spiders when I was a kid. I never knew they'd even bite.
I just like spiders. I think they're cool.
So in my home, whenever I'm writing a new book, all the
spiders come. I get webs everywhere.
They'd be on every window of my house.
(40:17):
They'd be on my car windows. They'd be in my mailbox.
It would be like, because they're a sign of creation and
storytelling. And it was so funny 'cause every
time I'm, I start a book, the spiders show up and they start
weaving on all my windows and they're gorgeous webs, they're
beautiful. But the weird thing was even on
my car, like in the mirrors, perfect circles on my car
(40:39):
windows, I'm like, that's so strange.
And as soon as the book was almost done, that was it.
I wouldn't see him again. What a beautiful gift.
It's happened so many times. It was just really strange, but
I, I loved it. Like, OK, they want me to
continue to create. I'm I'm doing it.
Yes, yes, there's so much that we can learn from the from the
(41:01):
wild animal species. Yes, I feel they're always here
so we can learn. They're teaching us if we just
stop and pay attention. Yeah, I, I believe too, like
there's such a connection with like a native wisdom and, and
the energy, like when you see ananimal like a fox, it's kind of
telling you to be stealthy or towatch yourself.
And like, I found this thing with animals that they'll show
(41:22):
themselves to kind of give you messages to, you know?
Yeah, my favorite book is by TedAndrews, The Animals Speak.
Yes, yes. I love that I'm always
referring. So we have, you know,
Roadrunners here and just, I don't know, kinds of wonderful
creatures, but once I start seeing them a little bit more,
you know, fairly off, I'm like, okay, Yep, I'm going to stop and
(41:44):
look that up and be really remarkable with elephants.
I'll share quickly. I, I was, I was outside and I
saw three different times a veryclear elephant in the clouds.
So this is our time of year. We have the monsoon, we've got
the big thunderheads and things.Normally we, we don't have any
(42:06):
clouds hardly. It's sunny every day.
But I said, so we have these beautiful big billowy clouds in
the afternoon. And within the span of probably
about an hour, I saw three different very clear elephant
clouds. And so of course I came in and
and looked up elephants, right? That was a very clear sign.
And it was absolutely, completely spot on for something
(42:27):
that I'm thinking of doing. So I was like, had to write that
all down in my journal. And I'm like, Oh my gosh, this
is wild. So.
Is that like the remover of obstacles?
Is that? Is that what an elephant would
it would be? A bit.
So that is also kind of going into the one of the Hindu gods
of Ganesha, who is the yes, yeahactually have wonderful Ganesha
(42:53):
Oracle card that I absolutely love.
So I also pulled pulled a coupleof those too.
Wow, this is really good. It was also about really
utilizing your senses for the elephant and looking at at
things in a sensory way and being able to discern.
And yes, I'm very strongly considering studying
(43:15):
aromatherapy, becoming certifiedin that.
And it actually said in the animal speak book.
No joke. Aromatherapy should be studied.
Yes, yes, and I was. I was out there thinking, OK,
what am I doing to bring this in?
I want this something I really want to do.
I was like, OK. That's kind of cool.
(43:36):
Yeah. I, I do the Young Living oils.
I've been working with those for30 years, and those are neat.
One of my cat when Jay was getting old, that's the big cat
I had. She wouldn't clean herself
because she was so overweight. So my friend would come in and
she would use like, purificationoil and a little bit of water
and she'd wipe her down and, and, you know, her and her
friend would like, put a towel around Jay so she wouldn't go
(43:58):
crazy when they're washing her dish.
But. But we did that for, like, the
last year of her life because she couldn't clean herself and,
you know, kind of hard to get a good, good scrub on her, you
know? But yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, the Rhema therapy is neat.
Do you also garden or no? Because I know it's pretty hot
by you. Do you have a gardener by the
time? We don't.
I wish we did. I mean, you, we could, but it's,
(44:21):
you know, it entails so much from Nebraska originally, where
you, you just, you know, you geta shovel saying New Jersey,
right? You, you dig a hole, you put a
plant in it, you give it some water and it thrives here.
It's a massive production. And so yeah, sadly I don't, but
it's possible. Yeah, yeah, but it but it's OK.
You can't do everything right. Yeah, exactly.
(44:46):
Yeah, yeah. The chicken coop came with the
house that we purchased and but I have not succumbed to chickens
yet 'cause I know that's a wholenother world and I have so many
friends that have chickens that just love and adore them.
And I think it would be such a fun, fun thing to, to happen.
But I, I have actually had the good sense to say I, I know I
don't have the time to devote tothat right.
(45:09):
Yes, I I actually had a chicken and a rooster at one time when I
moved here because I'm in kind of a rural little town and the
chicken would always go to my neighbor and lay an egg on the
porch and the rooster would always be chasing the darn
chicken around. My my son called them honey
mustard and BBQ because he didn't like them because the
rooster used to chase them around.
(45:30):
So we eventually gave it away. But when I went to the the nice
farmer, I said I wanted chickensand what of course he's like,
oh, take that one. You know that was the rooster
because they know it's a rooster1 to get rid of it.
So we had a chicken and a rooster for a short time, but it
was fun. But I'll tell you, I didn't get
one stinking egg from that wholeexperience, but it was fun for a
while. Yeah, we're coming up on on the

(49:18):
that's interested to just pop inthere and get that free guide.
It's very, I think it can be very helpful for people, a
little bit eye opening for them.Love that.
I also have a page on my websitejust to other people know that I
have free gifts on there. I have two chapters of Divine
Messengers, my Angel book. I have a free course called Dip
Your Toe In and a couple other little things on the page.
(49:41):
So you can also visit rosemaryd.com to check out that.
And you can look at my books. And also I have a page listed on
my website with all my guests that I've had on my podcast,
including Allison today. So if you have trouble finding
it, you can always look there too.
OK. So what are some of the unique
things that is special about theway that you work that you want
(50:04):
to mention? And the other thing I want to
ask you is when you do your service with your connection, if
you're working virtually, does the person have to be in front
of you or is this something you can do and then tell the people
after? Like how do you, when you're
doing your heart to heart, how do you do it?
I'm just curious. Yes, great question.
I'll start with that. With animal communication, I
(50:25):
really prefer to work with the person at the same time.
Generally we'll do it on the phone or we can do Zoom opt.
For me, that is absolutely preferable because for many
reasons, I'm feeling into the person's energy as well.
They are every bit as much a part of this as is their animal.
And that way. This is something, yes, I guess
(50:47):
maybe that is, well, it's not unique, but it's the way that I
definitely like to work because it's a conversation.
This is this is a communication. It's a three-way conversation or
four way if there's two people about connecting them with their
animals. So I'm here as a bridge of
(51:07):
communication and as a translator.
So for me, if they're not on that, on that other energetic
end and I'm simply communicatingwith their animal, which I don't
mean simply, it's still as important, right?
And I'm doing that separately. And then I e-mail them or
something. To me, there's just a, there's a
little something lost just for me.
(51:30):
I would love to work with peoplelive for me, it's, it's really
important to do that because then during the the
communication, they will have new questions and different
insights. And then again, it's a
conversation. So that kind of role with the
energy work, I do that separately, right?
(51:50):
I don't the person, I don't needthe person there.
So I do those separately with the animal and then I will
either e-mail a report or we canpop on the phone with the person
and give them a detailed update and I take photos of the
crystals that I worked with and things like that.
And so going kind of back to that, the the first part of that
(52:12):
question, I think that that may be something that feels a bit
unique to me is I look at this as a conversation and I have
learned through the years to be able to really discern when to
ask additional questions and when to go a little bit deeper
(52:34):
with some questioning. It's almost sometimes like we're
investigating a bit, OK, so we're learning this what kind
how can we reframe a question toto help the animal bring out
more information. So really becomes a very robust
experience with a lot of detail and information coming from the
(52:58):
animal because it's a conversation right that.
I love that I know my my pet it's she did not want to talk
about her past. She says that doesn't matter.
It's all about now, you know, she, that's the way, that's the
way they are. That was kind of neat because I
think, you know, we always feel bad.
Oh, the poor animal. But they're like now it's about
now. So what you do right now?
(53:19):
Exactly. That's exactly right.
Get time again. Yeah.
Yeah. OK.
Do you have any last words of advice that you would want to
tell that you want to leave our our listeners with as far as
pets? Oh, absolutely, yeah,
(53:40):
absolutely. I think first of all, be aware
that they are able to understandyour thoughts and your feelings.
So I feel that it's important not to hide things from them.
Be open and honest. You can talk with them out loud.
It's not very, but you can talk with them in your head.
You can send them messages. And also to be aware that you
(54:08):
can send them messages. So let's say you've got a dog
that maybe has some separation anxiety, for instance, and they
really kind of fall apart when you leave to go to the grocery
store. Very simple, just send them the
image in your mind's eye or you can.
I think that's probably the bestway to do it is you coming back
(54:31):
in the door, you're coming home, they're happy, you're happy,
everything is fine. And just be aware that you can
communicate with them on a on a very general level as far as
sending them information and about what what we would like
them to do, not what we don't want them to do.
(54:53):
So let's see if we're a, a cat is scratching on the furniture
and they've got a scratching post.
Well, we're probably thinking, oh, they just keep, you know,
we're seeing that image of the cat scratching on the side of
the sofa. What we need to do is just a mat
or just send them that photo, that image of them using their
(55:13):
scratching post. It's always about what we would
like for them to do, not what wedon't want them to.
Do that makes a lot of sense. So thank you so much for being
my guest today. I loved hearing what you do and
the light walkers path bold brave TV, and we hope that we
both inspired you with some interesting information.
