Speaker 4 (01:37):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Yes, we got our second trip to bris Vegas in
the in three weeks this weekend as we take on
the Brisbane Broncos. It's our last game before we do
have a buy before we do enter the stat of
origin period. So it is a pretty much a four
point game this weekend, and if we are going to
keep in touch with that top eight, this is a
game we we simply must win. So we'll hand over
(01:59):
to you Rob. You can walk us through how that
the Dragons side will light up this weekend. There are
a couple of changes.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Yes, correct, it's a round eleven team miss for the Dragons.
We've got Gutho fullback on the wings. We've got Terrell
Sloane and Corey Ellen. Tyrell Slane might still be in doubt.
They're saying he's one hundred percent, but we'll have to
wait and see. I've got Suli and Holmes in the centers,
Carl Fanning in at five eight and like in King
(02:29):
Toongia at halfback at prop, Jack Develin hooker, Damien Cook prop,
David Clemmer and then the second Royd, Dylan Eagan and
Jaden Sea and blocking the scrum Hamie Stewart and our
fourteen Jacob little looch fifteen and big Old Loko. What
a great game he played last night again, Yes, Worries
(02:51):
at sixteen and block a bat at seventeen and Nathan
Lawson eighteenth.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Man.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I want to see him on the on the win
he does come in not for slow yep.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
And also the extended bench with hame Sele Local, Luis Raymond,
the Talamaron and Marc Morlow. Yes, we were supposed to
have a Broncos best but due to unfortunate circumstances we
don't have one.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
But I.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Head over to Big Tea and he can walk us
through this segment.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
Come with me as we go behind enemy lines.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Well, the day Dragons fans on Big Tea and this
is around eleven. We're playing the Broncos and behind him
the lines. We've got a bit of a matchup. Come
up here. Our guests couldn't come on. She had a
little accident on the way home. Hope you're all right, Sherlow.
If you're watching Jesse's boss from work, she is. We've
got Sorb and Cobba at the back, Dane Mariner and Jesse.
(04:31):
Arthur's on the wings, Tony Spags and I think it's
Hermit Sheba. Shaky Ezra Man back in the side only
after week after he came back in the game against
Southak Versus. In the South Ogan's team, Adam Reynolds is
the other half. Pat Carrigan, Billy Wilder's paying half as
the front row. Xavier Wilson. I was going to ask
(04:52):
Sheerlo if she knew much about Alexavier Wilson. But Jordan
mckase the have a second rower and KB Heavington locks
the scrum. Corey park Paigs, Corey Jensen, Brendan Piakura and
Fletcher Baker on the bench, Tystle Smoothie nineteenth man, Josiah
Carapani Marty to Powell, I liked according to hep Power,
(05:16):
but it's tapay you, Jadan Hunt and Delawase hot I
bet Delawares is the only Delawes ever to play rugby league.
I've never thought j nunts next Dragon A couple of there.
Mad maguire is the coach and on the extended benches. Yeah,
(05:37):
I was gonna ask our guests, No, no, i'mac this
week he's not playing. He's injured himself, but yeah, he's
not in I was gonna say, what what what difference
will as a man make without Ben hunting the side?
Speaker 7 (05:56):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Or do you say yes, we hasn't played a lot
of He hasn't played any football since last year, so
he's gonna be lacking in match fitness, and he'll be
under a lot of pressure as well. They've had a
mixed bag to start the year, but it's going to
be interesting to see how they do play. Ben and
(06:19):
and Adamiralds are pretty similar and they are probably the
most experiences in the game, so it's going to be
interesting to see how I'm not sure how is going
to play. I'm sure he'll be everyone on the game
will be watching it, a lot of people, a lot.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Of Apparently he was on fire for South slogan on
the weekend, had a really good game, so yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Got bood of magic round.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
Well, let's tape all right, that's that.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
I was gonna ask our guess what they thought magic
is action would be to losing four at the last
five games from seeing seeing him on tiger Land or
whatever that show was called he was on. He was
a big spray.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Yeah, they would have capt the real spray when they's
a been a flying there on the wall in that room.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
I guess that that's gonna Yes, where's everyone going.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
Disappeared disappeared?
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, watching watching Tigerville or what it was called. Jesus
gave the tigers and sprays back then didn't he.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Yeah, I remember watching that. He's uh uh, he's going
to give him a spray, that's for sure. I was
just saying I wouldn't want to be in that room
if they lose another one. So Broncos could be on
this weekend, that's what worries me.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, Rob, Rob, Another question I was going to ask,
they had a streak of wind from twenty to fifteen
to twenty seventeen, four wins. They've had a We had
a streak of wings twenty eight and twenty one. We
had five wins in the last four have been win lost,
win lost win for us. What do you what makes
(08:15):
them think the Broncos is going to beat the Dragons
on the weekend. Well, maybe just just what we were
talking about.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Obviously, Manches a decent coach in the roth of carn
I think obviously would have been put on the players,
you know, the team, the squad, so I've no doubt
that they'll be up for the game. I actually see
as a man, I don't think you should be. It
should have been had to be back in the game,
of course, but I've seen him as a plus for them.
(08:48):
I think he'll had a bit of spark a bit
like us with l K T l pts come in
and had a bit of spark and Dazz was right.
He played brilliantly. I know it's something reserved great, but
I mean, I just think they'd be up for it.
I mean, they've got players right across the park and
I mean probably the best prop in the game in
(09:08):
the past, Cobo. When Cobo is on at fullback is unbelievable. Yeah,
and we're seeing with Reynolds what Reynolds can do Christ Yeah,
so masterclass. So yeah, we're going to be in for it.
It's going to be tougher sign and I think for us,
I thought we were We're just sounded lucky.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
In the Warriors game.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
We could have won the game, and to lose by
one point in normal time for me really sucks. If
it was golden point and when either way they get it,
you know, because you know it's it's a field goal,
But to lose by one in normal time, I hate
that sort of thing happening we But look, yeah, I
just I think it's sending a real tough one for us.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
The other question I had for him that what were
they looking for head to head? Looking forward? But we'll
cover that later on. Yeah, so that was all I
had for them. Do you guys have any other questions
you'd like to ask?
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Well, I got to say, Michael McGuire was brought in
to give the Broncos that harder redge that they seem
to lack, But it looks like that that hasn't happened.
Do you think the Broncos are a soft tendant? Like
I don't like getting in the work. They're all those
flashy players and when when their class players want in
a mood, they just do it. They can do it.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Or do you think that that need to get into
their work? Now you can have a team of champions,
but it's not a champion team, is it? Like all
those I said? I said the Bulldogs were like that
a couple of years ago. They had a lot of
a lot of Premia dollars in their side, but now
they're playing well. The Broncos have got a lot of
a lot of top players. Their back line, their back
(10:56):
line is almost second to none. Come out and back
big T. I think it's more a team. Well that's
what I think too. It's a team. Cobo is much
like Cowboys, much like Mitchell Mitchell, and I think Latro
(11:17):
Mitch is a very very selfish player. He does a
lot of things for himself, not for the team. Yeah, yeah,
that's like Cobo. Cobo does the same thing. If he's
on fire, we're in trouble. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
But Rob, you mentioned like pain pain helfs the best.
A lot of people said he's the best problem in
the game, Like, do you agree with that?
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Absolutely?
Speaker 4 (11:43):
It's just sorry, Big, he's just absolutely normally when he
plays normal, he's he's so bloody unbelievable. If he has
a day out against something, we can't be where because
he's a rempaging ball. I mean, he could absolutely tear
us up through the middle. Obviously, that's what's been happening.
Was unfortunately next amount of games this season. But we've
(12:05):
been getting beaten through the middle. So yeah, we're gonna
be in trouble. They're gonna wrap him up. They're going
to stop that ball from being offloaded. Yeah, and we're
very poor, very poor stopping stopping offload.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
So he's getting off. Lads going, we're in trouble.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Billy as well, join us.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Billy's in bed.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
You got any thoughts on the game, Billy, What do
you think of the Broncos.
Speaker 8 (12:37):
Are there a strong side on paper? It's been a
bit weird. I don't know why they haven't been able
to put it out on the field, to be honest.
That's look, they've lost the coup in. I think they're
going to be roaring for Sunday, especially because at their
home ground. And I think if we, if we match it,
if we match their energy, we have a chance.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (13:02):
I'm here and they're they're unhappy up there with match,
but they're unhappy with with Kebby as well.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
That's what That's what Grants just said. Yeah, not getting
well with the players hopefully hopefully stories.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
I got told right by a couple of old boys
that hear Dragon's players and obviously know some of the
old boys up in Broncos. He's a big crazy match.
You'll like, you know, you see Bellamy in the box
going off and all that swearing and all that sort
of stuff.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
He's been known to.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Carry a baseball bat around. You'll get a chair, you know,
there's absolutely beat living ship. Yeah, big looking crap out
of the chair in front of the players.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
And you just do stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
So you know, some you could call the violin acts.
But you know, had the tough first grade regular players.
But apparently Manch has a very very.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Bad temp.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
So you don't bring a baseball back into the change
or any players. What the hell intimidator.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Well, he did learn from Craig Bellamy.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
So have you watched to town mate?
Speaker 4 (14:17):
He absolutely goes off, rip stuff you off and swearing,
going off his head, pulling chairs.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
Craig Bellamy is had the reputation they yeah, you look
up to Yeah, I'm not sure Mage's aunt that that
respect it.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
No, oh, definitely, not not the same class at all.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
I mean he did have success in origin last year
with the Blues going to Blues by the way, big teeth,
but yeah, different different proposition now coaching week to week
and our football.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah, is very much seeing how he struggled with the
Tigers and then they brought Timmy in, I think. But anyway, anyway,
I think it's come to that time or not. We've
we've talked enough about the Broncos. Let's talk about a
little bit more about the Dragons in the past. We've
got to talk past, don't we We're not winning at
the moment, So here you go. I'll bring it up.
(15:22):
Come with me is to take a walk down memory lane.
Brought to you by Essens and Light Nature for Home
and Body. There were small batch candle and soap manufacturer.

sun Corpse Stadium, Brisbane Qualifying Final, Brisbane Broncos versus the Dragons.
Referees Gran Atkins and Chris Sudden. Crowd forty seven, two
hundred and ninety six.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
That's not a bad crowd for an elimination final, not
a qualifying final.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Hope, there you go, the elimination final and the Broncos
finished up that year. Anyway, we played the Broncos forty
six times in our twenty six years in the NFL.
Brokos have won twenty five, we've won twenty one, so
it's pretty close. Brocas have scored one thy nineteen points.
We've scored nine hundred and twenty seven. It's not too bad.
(16:23):
I just rode through the skids. Darius Board, Corey Oates
and Jermaine A. Zarko on the wing, Jimmy the Jett

(17:32):
Can McGinnis listen Ar Mayor in the front row Tozzinsville
and trek seems dec Debilla Mocksterscram on the bench of
the goat, and we all know who the goat is. Kurtman,
Blake Laurie and Luciano la. If you don't know who
the goat is, that's Jeremy Animore anyway. Talking about jam
(17:53):
mc graham. He played for the Dragons between twenty eighteen
and twenty twenty, scoring one throw and that's why I
was in front of his parents, so his parents come
out and watched him, and he scored that try. I
think was that cogra. I think twenty thirty games of
Saint Helen's eleven tries, one hundred and thirty five game
for the Board Out's twenty twelve to twenty seven name sorry,
not eleven tries twenty twenty, two thousand and three and
(18:16):
twenty eleven nine tests are great written forty five five
tests for England. Two in Erall All Stars games. He's
got two in our old trophies, two English Super Leage trophies,
four hundred and twenty three combined games. That's a that's
a feat for a front rower. You know, he's a
hard man. James Graham, Now he was a Saint George Dragons,
(18:39):
Austin George, a Lord Dragons w assistant. In twenty twenty one,
Fox Sport Commendator appeared on Abspeed Temmy drama Plumb. I'm
not sure what Plumb was. I should have had a Look,
he's donated his brain to science after he passes. Yeah,
so he.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Hosts as well.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Two was that sorry?

there and look at it and see what he's talking about.
So there's the game. I'm going back to a elimination
semi final. Just was saying, Broncos Dragons up at sun
Corps Stadium.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Was this the game that takes Sims went nuts?
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Let me gain, come on, let me spoil a spiral
Dragons Dragons.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
I'm just answer the question is getting put the go
a ninth.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Minute and the fourteenth minute to make four to two
Broncos and then bomb bomb Bronco score a try Brocos
ten Dragons two. We're in trouble. We're in trouble. I
always think about that. And Tarry Skim scores his first
try in the twentieth minute. Beginners from the Past Past
of the Gram off the hunt, Hunt who gives us
the Sims, who pivres his way through the long line,
(19:58):
Bangers over Broncos ten Dragons eight At twenty seven minute
twenty fifteen Dragon Player of the Year Arm listing. Arm
goes over for a a four pointer, burrows in from
close fourteen ten to the Dragons and Tarry Skims goes
in again. Big Trek hunt at Donny half off, the
(20:19):
Wibert passes the Tarrex Siems over for his third Dragons
twenty Broncos ten and thirty seventh minute seems in for
his first half. Actrick just the only brother absolutely on
his brother.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Sting big t Ruan Simms was his sister. Ruan Sims
was in the commentary what do you have for breakfast?
Ruan Simms? Can you take her exact words? He had
Benjamin on wet picks miss this afternoon?
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Nice nice, very nice.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Then fortieth minute Dragons penalty goal halftime Dragons twenty eight
by Broncos ten. Our team Lafoye scores in the forty
ninth minute from midfield field scrum. Again its gainst the
ball from the back at the scrum to Hunt. The
Dfty Dofty run sideways across the field, put laugh height
(21:15):
on the outside shoulder of Ben roberts La fire breaks
the line. Dragons thirty four Broncos ten.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
There Broncos go over Dragons thirty four. Mister the goal,
but Broncos fourteen. They go over again, they come or
back miss the goal again thirty four eighteen. That's try
there were popped his shoulder in the tackle there he
was trying to try, trying to attack Cody nick Arema.
(21:45):
So we're up the sidelined for the next game we
had and that was it for the Broncos when it
went off and the Dragon scored in the sixty ninth
minute with Lucciaro Lua going over for a try. Where
are we here? Came Againnis from Dunny half little death,
(22:06):
little kickie down. It was beautiful, little kick puts it through.
We're trying first there Dragons forty Broncos eighteen seventy fourth
minute Dragons goal forty two was Lias was that go
there you go? It was already off by them and
speed speed, beautiful speed when I was younger may day,
(22:26):
but not now. Dafty guys over they couldn't catch you untouched.
Dafty scores a try g seven to seven. But that
was the end of his season. He was gone shoulder
injury and that crawled him for a little while, didn't it.
And then he came back and done it again. Was
at the second time he.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Did this three weeks ago against Para. Then they rushed
back the game.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yep, I remember it. Well, there you go. That's full
time Dragons forty eight, Broncos eighteen. Thank you for joining
me for the heavy lines and I walk down memory lane.
Do you hear what happened next week in the final.
This has been a big T presentation.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Who's that sleeping?
Speaker 2 (23:13):
That's me, mate, Marty. He should be on he should
be on it. Somewhere they're having a void party. Actually
there's about about eight of them all sitting around watch
you may talk ship. So it's been a big T
presentation brought to you by Essence the Light Nature for everybody.
Don't check him out www dot Essendon Light dot com
dot au. Can't have a look like your missus will
(23:34):
love it. I love you for him. They're absolutely fantastic
and Ma Dragon Podcast they helped me do this. I
love these guys. I love you as all. The rest
is history, but there's much much more to be made
This week. We're not celebrating Donnie. We've seen him on Sunday.
(23:54):
We're celebrating a little billy. Yeah, this is the beautiful
little boy Dragon's jersey there around Bill.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Yeah, now you reckon.
Speaker 8 (24:11):
We have been about oh maybe too.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
You just waking up, we're just going to sleep.
Speaker 8 (24:20):
I think I was crying, but not like this one.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Like Donny and I've made you one. I'm going to
send that to you. I don't.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
You've only looked like you looks like you've only got
one too.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I didn't make him look like that. He's got no
tea there, he's got one. Anyway. Thanks for joining me
on a walk down memory lane. It's been great. I
love his All Dragons for life baby.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
All right, thank you, Big Teas. As always, very good segment.
Now we'll get into the next part of the evening
where we get everyone's thinking caps on, where we'll talk
about a history about the Broncos and Dragons. And as
Big Team mentioned, that was a semi final we did
play the Broncos in. There was another semi final at
(25:19):
the venue a few years earlier, but we'll get into
that question after this. All right, so my question tonight
(26:14):
for this trickery segment tonight, So back to two thousand
and six, we played the Broncos in a semi final,
also at sun Corp. Now we won the game. Can
you name what the score was? We won the game
pretty comfortably as well, not as big as that twenty
eighteen semifinal Big T walked us through, but we did
(26:36):
win the game up there at sun Corp as well,
And I said, if you can name the score, So
if you can pick the score.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
I don't remember. I'm pretty sure was that this game too,
and that year as well.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
You may remember the Broncos went on to win the premiership.
So see how you go in the comments. Okay, Peter's
not on the money for this one. Peter's been on
the money recently, but he's not there, not Big T.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Vincio Valencio just calling that pautiful. He remember me? Who's this?
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Who's that? Billy?
Speaker 5 (27:26):
Ah?
Speaker 8 (27:27):
That's my flog of a brother.
Speaker 5 (27:30):
You're not going to bash the one you beat up
a couple of weeks.
Speaker 8 (27:36):
I'll do it again, Johnson, get it right?
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Eighteen eight No, that's not correct.
Speaker 8 (27:44):
Come on, what was the question?
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Sorry, Dragons beat the Broncos in the two thousand and
six qualifying final. We won convincingly. What was a score?
Speaker 5 (27:55):
I was no, not that.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
No, anyway, let's move along.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Anyway, we'll move on to discussing our team now, Gangy
Kobe caush are huge out. He's been one of our
We've been one of our probably arguably our best forward
this year.
Speaker 5 (28:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
Out for three to four weeks with that shoulder injury. Yeah,
he wasn't happy when he went left the field on
Saturday night in Wongong. Jack de Bellin comes in to
replace him. What do you think of that replacement? Big loss,
Toby ca.
Speaker 5 (28:35):
Yeah, Look, Jack de Bellin will do a job, but
he's still a big loss, isn't he. He's been so
good this year. I feel like he's almost had a
break a year. So it's we're already sort of struggling
in the middle, so I'm just hoping we can get
(28:55):
it done.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Yep, all right now Billy tyrol Sloane hyper Extenity's elbow
after falling awkwardly trying to catch a Carl Flanagan kick
at Win Stadium the other night. Hyper Extenity's elbow heavily
strapped during the game. Now, the Dragons have said today
that he's sorry, yesterday that he's okay available selection this week.
(29:20):
So Flanner has named to fly to Brisbane with the team.
As Rob said earlier, do you think he'll take his place?
Speaker 8 (29:30):
I mean if he's right, Yeah, probably he will, just
because shame Flanning is not too keen on changing it
up there. Although I would like to see Nathan Lawson
make his debut. Sorry, I'm just connecting my charger. Yeah,
I would like to see Nathan Lawson make his debut
for us, but I don't think that's going to happen unfatunately.
(29:53):
And if Tyron Sloane he's right to play, then shame
Fanning all blame. Let's just see how it is.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
Yeah, honestly against the Bronco. I reckon it'd be the
right move to put Lawson on against him.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
Yeah, all day.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
He was a passenger in the against the Warriors when we.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
Anybody knows about hot presension, but the dissertation the elbow,
but it takes longer than a week to get to
come back from that. If you're playing rugby league, it'll
be funny. You'll do that last minute changed like he
usually does it out before the game. I guarantee you
he's not.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
Going to play instead back long and I reckon it
be a smart move.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
He couldn't even lift it up. He could have strolling.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Hey, Ian Johnson's got the answer, Yeah, four.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Carl I used to coach Carl in rugby league. Hey,
Carl Hoe were not Cal Flannaghan.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Yeah, we against four so you guys, but I'll just
run through what happened in that game. So we won
twenty points to four. It was on a Saturday night.
It was the second qual final. Did finish Bird? I
run through both sides. So the Dragon's team was Quit
(31:19):
Green talking back, where's Niguamer and Brett Morris on the wings,
Gasney and Matt in the centers and captain Trent Barrow
and the half back Ben Hornby the front rolls Bailey
and Jason Riles. Hooker Aaron gorel second role was Matt
Bickerstaff and Ashton Simms locking the scrum Sewn Timmins, the bench,
Ben Craig, Danny Wicks, Justin Paul and Matthew Head. The
(31:40):
coach Nathan Brown. The Broncos side was Justin Hodges at fullback,
Darius Boyd and Tom a Twopa on the wings, Brent
Tate and David Stagg in the centers by the captain
Darren Lockey, the half back Shane Perry, the front rollers
Shane Webky and Petro seven a severa hooker was Sean Berryer,
Second Rouls, Sam Fighter and Brad Thord and locking the
(32:03):
scrum Tony Carroll. The bench of the Broncos that night
was Corey Parker, Dane Carlore, Ben Hannett and Casey McGuire,
and the coach of course is Wayne Bennett. We won
twenty points to four, which tries to Luke Bailey, Matt Cooper,
Aaron Gorel and Clint Greenshields, with Aaron Gold kicking two
goals back he had missing his only attempt while for
the Broncos, Darius Boyd got the try and Corey Parker
(32:26):
was none from one. We led ten for at halftime.
We went on to win twenty points to four and
we moved onto the semifinal against Mainly that year, so
two finals games we've we've won two semi finals games
up there at sun Court BT.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yes, the following week, sorry was that?
Speaker 5 (32:47):
What was it? Didn't We win against Marland the following
week and then I think was that the game we
lost against Wes No.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
We played Melbourne in the prelim that year, That's right.
We beat Mainly twenty eight nil and then Melbourne were
just too good for us in the tree limb yep,
the year before West Speeders.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah, it's n called writing ten. So we won ten games,
aren't they.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Anyway, go back to where we were, so Rob you
were discussing, Yeah, how Tyrol Signe was under some distress
playing that game against the Warriors on Saturday.
Speaker 6 (33:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Absolutely, It's one of those injuries that you you know,
you have come. You really should have come off the field,
you know, for whatever reason they kept him on. I
just can't see him playing on the weekend. So especially
if you've got a fit Lawson, he's been doing pretty well,
(33:51):
give him a game, give him a crack, you know
what I mean? Who's the rooster's winger from Rubber Union
the similar ways laws and that he could last day?
Speaker 5 (34:00):
Yeah, I can't say his name either.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
A play Big Tam.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
You can say Big Teas how to say it? Go on,
Big t tell me how to say it.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
Now I'm gonna need to say.
Speaker 5 (34:11):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
I mean we need a little bit of I don't know.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
And Sloane he's not really been in hot trop form
you know that last sex amount of games either, So
I don't know if you know. To see Wilson get
a start. If slow is a little bit in doubt,
you know, don't play feet like that. It's just ridiculous because.
Speaker 6 (34:30):
If it goes on in the game again, then there's stuffed.
Will you play it down whatever?
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Passenger?
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah, Now Billy Blake Lowie comes back onto the bench
with with Tabi Couchman out and Jack devellin now going
into the run on side. Blake Lowry hasn't played since
the game. Do you play against the Tigers? I don't
think he did. I think he's played since Anzac Day
(35:00):
playing so Fast Cup in Tamworth last Sunday. Hasn't played
for a couple of weeks. How do you think you'll
go being straight in up the no playing for the
last few weeks.
Speaker 8 (35:11):
I think it'll be good. Like he wasn't even bad
for us when he came back, Like he hasn't really
done anything wrong. I don't know why I got dropped
for Grulers, should have got dropped before him. So good
to see him back in the in the lineup. It
brings a bit of agression, especially when he's much fitter,
(35:33):
So good to see him back in the lineup. It's interesting, Sally,
he's back in the reserves possibly making his way back up,
So I guess we'll see how he tracks in the
reserve grade for a couple of weeks. But for now,
Larry's in there and I'm hoping you can do a
job for us.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
That's going to be interesting to see how they go.
Because New South Walest Cup will be playing at North Sydney,
which we'll talk about a little bit later. But do
you think, big T, do you think all the all
twenty two players will make the trip to Brisbane or
do you think some will stay behind in Sydney to
play New Sopil's Cup.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
I think we'll find some will stay here on I
think I'll take Um Lawson, Sally and the Talamara while
on endlist got back to Reggie. Reggie's Yeah, Irot to
see laws and start Lawson ever start, but depends on
how torros Lane goes.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
Yeah, now, our youngie. Something we did talk a little
bit on Sunday. I don't know if you saw it,
but Loco Tonga made his debut against the Warriors. It
was quite a debut from him. How did you can
go second time round? Now he's got I.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
Can't see him gett dropped from here. It's been a
long time coming. We've been calling for him to get
selected for you know ages. I guess Kate just wanted
to wait until he thought he was ready. But my
opinion has been ready all year. Great player, and now
I'm really happy to see him in the team.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Big tea, What do you think, though, is the biggest
concern with the Dragons at the moment? Still not icing
those close games. We've had free losses by one point.
Someone said, we've had free by two or less or
four by too less this year?
Speaker 5 (37:20):
What what is it?
Speaker 3 (37:21):
What's what do you think is wrong with the Dragons
at the moment? How can we get out of this run?
Speaker 2 (37:26):
We can't finish off the start. We can't end our
sets with anything good. We're not making meters with our sets.
We've got to make over over forty eight forty nine
meters in our sets. We've got to make fifty meters
a set. We've got to be attacking from good positions
(37:49):
inside their half. We haven't been doing that. Too many
stupid mistakes in our own half. There's a lot they
have to work. Yeah, they're gonna work on everything. We've
gotta finish. We've gotta finish. We can't finish. We can't
finish the games off. That's the problem.
Speaker 5 (38:11):
And we've seen to play from behind, don't we do
Every week? Second get eighty mel down and we play
catch up football down against Yeah, we get closed. We
just can't finish.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
We can't finish it off.
Speaker 7 (38:28):
We can't.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
We can't finish games. We just can't.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
I think I think coach has got also be a
bit more responsible now shame fun again. I mean, I
always love cook, but I don't think I think it
has to be changed now. I think Little should be
playing more minutes and should be playing last minutes.
Speaker 5 (38:47):
And he's going to make I quite agree with you, Rob.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
He got the big three and you got in and
cooking and homes in and even Gutho's coming off. As
we can see, we're lacking. Expat l Kat has brought
a bit of X factor. The tiny mit he can
bring in because Rome wasn't built in the day. He's
just coming in and trying some many his position. But
you can see when Little comes on the on the field,
(39:12):
that changes the momentum changes.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
We were a bit faster. He's a bit quicker out
of dummy half.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
So you know, unless Little sort of on the field
at the moment, the way we're looking don't really look
like we we have an X factor player, you know
what I mean, that can really do something out and
nothing make something happen for.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
Us in a game.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
So that's what he's lost the step or two. Hasn't
he wrong?
Speaker 5 (39:35):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (39:35):
Then, per mate.
Speaker 6 (39:36):
I mean, you know, a great player in his time
and all that, and sure he can still play a
role on our team, but the role is going.
Speaker 4 (39:41):
To be reversed between him and Little. I mean, I'm
going to be honest with you, if I was a
little ardly looking to go elsewhere next season, if this
keeps up for the rest of the year, could you
blame Little? You probably can start spend any other first
grade team, you know, without being ridiculous. Obviously, Harry Grant
and plays like that, he's going to be in the
(40:01):
top half a dozen hookies in the game. So you know,
I'm sure there'll be a team out there that would
be starting in will give him most of the time
in their first grade team.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Well, Little Little actually has a mutual option for twenty
twenty six. Whether the club or him decide to take
that up, I'm not too sure, but I don't know
how what what will take place. But if he does
as with doing this, he could know if he's only
going to play a bench role, because I think he's
(40:35):
far too good to be off the bench. But then again,
I'm not sure if he is that eighty minute player.
Speaker 6 (40:42):
But he might play fifty five sixty, right, I don't know.
You'll you'll get picked up your team out there, And.
Speaker 5 (40:53):
That doesn't mean cook Cook at the fourteen and he
could come and play full.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Back, half background forty minutes.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
You can put your get slot cook in anywhere if
you play him off the bench.
Speaker 6 (41:05):
Difference as well too, man, I mean hooker, how little
Hell's cook twenty nine?
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Cooks thirty four.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Yeah, so that's that's the difference.
Speaker 6 (41:16):
He little is right at his peak now and we're
not playing, but he's peak peak time.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
He's another question. His career, he's another question, Jess.
Speaker 5 (41:27):
What does somligamous rocks and diamonds not long?
Speaker 3 (41:32):
I mean, as Rob Rob Rob said, he's hasn't had
a great year. He's he's normally that hard running center
that really helps our sets go forward, but he hasn't
really done that this year. He's normally a powerful running center,
but he gets found out a lot of time in defense.
You've seen rush out of the center as an isolate
(41:53):
poor Tyrol Sloan, and Tyroll Sloane cops a flat. I know, yes,
it's Tyrol Slane's job to stay on the wing, but
sorely running in eye out of his center it's not
helping either, So he's not helping.
Speaker 6 (42:06):
We used to have years and years ago the dres
We used to play our second rows out.
Speaker 5 (42:10):
Why.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
I'm sure young and big t players like that, so
that was a thing, play second rowers out in the centers.
But now these days, mate, he's just not mobile enough
in an attack. You know he's a big body. Yeah, sure,
ten meters out from the line of attack. But mate,
we need him in defense as well. So to me,
(42:32):
I'm over Sully now.
Speaker 6 (42:33):
I mean, I think he's more second round and I
don't even know if he's defense is good enough for
a second round.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
So I don't know. I think we can do better.
Speaker 6 (42:40):
I mean, you look at Crichton running around on the
weekend for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
Against the Raiders, so one hand, it's just.
Speaker 6 (42:46):
Chalk and cheese.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
Mate, with what we've got with sur I think surely
he's played his best football unfortunately.
Speaker 3 (42:55):
Does makes a good point. We are missing CT.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
Well law since been playing left center as well, so
if it came to that, he you know, he gets
longer at the at the three.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Well, Donnie did point out on Sunday he hasn't played
center for a few weeks. He's been back on the wing,
so he's more suited to the wing. But CT is
not due back till round fourteen of the earliest. That's
when we actually go back to sun Corpse again to
play the Dolphins, so which when Toby Cashman is also
due back. But yeah, how badly are we missing CT Billy?
Speaker 8 (43:39):
It's annoying, so annoying, so bad, Like we haven't once
since we lost him. I'm being honest.
Speaker 5 (43:52):
It's not like I always looking like he was going
to lead the try screen for the year.
Speaker 8 (43:58):
Yeah, I mean, we we can win without him. But
he's huge. He brings energy, he brings the rhyns, he
runs hard. Yeah, he's got that part of his game
down pat and that just gives the team a different energy.
Like Dragons forced an arrow the other day against the Warriors,
(44:20):
and like the only one we wipe out was Goo
and that was with only the players that would near him.
When CT was on the field, the whole team was
rushing into celebrating error. So which is a lot you know,
I was.
Speaker 6 (44:35):
Going to your boys too, sorry to add leave Jess.
You know a lot of the dragons on our.
Speaker 4 (44:41):
Site, you know, on the on the on the internet,
they're all raving and going, Yeah, the Fods are going
to go forward, and that's true, right, But have a
look at the back five right for the Dragons comparing
to a Melbourn.
Speaker 6 (44:54):
Storm and Carnal Sharks. Look at the way the back
five from.
Speaker 4 (44:57):
The ball back for those teams, and the meat is
in the way they're running back, you know, like well
Tarlo for the Sharks, you know what I mean? Compared
to learn it you could say, so, I think you're
back five are pretty important and we we we might
be playing from you know, our goal line, but I
(45:18):
don't know. We just seem to not made of the
same way other teams do in the back lines, you know.
So that's the concern of an area for us as well.
And Gufer is so bloody well off his game at
the moment as well.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
Show me the money he is, mate.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
He's a character that a good character, good character of
the game. Everyone loves characters. That's why I like being
a character.
Speaker 4 (45:40):
Well that plays and his passion would be incredible. And
he's got some passion going. He's got some tea.
Speaker 3 (45:46):
Now, what about vale Holmes. I'll go to you young
here with this one, Vale Holmes.
Speaker 5 (45:52):
One.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
Plano was quite upset with how he's performed on Saturday
again twice.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
He's been time this year.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
We've scored more tries in the opposition. We lost the game.
That's very hard to take, isn't it.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
Yeah, look, he's had one bad game. I think this
season he's been really good for us.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
Yes, we do.
Speaker 5 (46:15):
He scored a lot of tries on that left side,
and a lot of that's due to him his last finishes.
So yeah, okay, look he had one bad game, but
I think he's been a really good pick up. He
needs to kick those goals.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
Yeah, I agree with you with James. He's been so good.
But it's bullshit. I mean, yeah, sure, but we still
lost the game by one point. You know you where
was the other kicker? Did Flanning can have a you
know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (46:45):
He's running?
Speaker 5 (46:46):
Surely they practiced training and we've lost what are they doing?
Speaker 2 (46:51):
If we're really going to improve, we shouldn't be getting
down having to rely on vow to kick the goal.
Speaker 5 (46:56):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (46:57):
They're not from him front, but you know, I'm sure
game should.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Be better than that.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
It should be one of your halves kicking those anyway,
if the ball's going out to your center.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
He's got the biggest kick, though he doesn't have the
biggest kicking.
Speaker 3 (47:16):
Final a couple of years ago, more than forty eight,
he kicked the two point field goal.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
Ye, he's done it before. He'll do it again. He'll
do it for us.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
I'm sure he has a big as as probably Mitchell.
Speaker 5 (47:27):
We've lost three of them, you see, didn't we three
last year as well? All one point games? You have
the finals?
Speaker 2 (47:39):
What they did Valhan's break.
Speaker 3 (47:42):
He's left leg, I think, but I think he's a right.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
Right foot is a right footed kickout. I was going
to say it might be his leg giving him grief,
give him you grief, but maybe not. Maybe you can't
plant it properly. It's just planting leg against the hous.
Speaker 6 (47:55):
We didn't even have the field goal. Let's see how done.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Were Yeah, and again it's the same the same point.
Jamie Hupper has had all the time in the world
kicked the field goal on that day and then Luke
Metcalf had the all the time.
Speaker 5 (48:07):
It was not even pressure.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Yes, that's in the cauching. Yeah, isn't it?
Speaker 6 (48:12):
De Young the defensive catch.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
So you know ten minutes ago, if if you're.
Speaker 6 (48:18):
Having a draw, it's got to be yours on the
opposition might have a crack for a field goal.
Speaker 5 (48:23):
So you know, first great, let's into that position in
the first place where we're having to play gold pouring
all the time. Yeah, we should have gone on with that.
Speaker 3 (48:37):
Now on just on Vale Homes Well, Big Tea, the
Queensland origin side gets picked on Monday morning, Vale Holmes
will be playing to get that Queensland jersey back. Do
you think this this is the game really steps up
to be on that venue in twelve days after that?
(48:58):
So ten days after that, I should say, if if
he is selected, do you think playing at his game
with Billy Slater watching him?
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Yeah, you want to hope so, wouldn't you. But he's
got some good, good centers in front of him, good
young centers. You've got that sib As hockey from the Broncos.
I think he's a Queenslander. You've got have you got
the Hammy, You've also got the guy up in Queen
North Queensland Perdue.
Speaker 3 (49:24):
Yeah, playing is looking good.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
I think Margie is a Queenslander as well. No, he's no,
he's playing the moment anyway. But he's a good player.
They're all good players, and I think they're ahead of
out at the moment. He's going to have a standout game.
Possibly will on get out of the team that needs
(49:48):
to get into the team.
Speaker 5 (49:51):
As well.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
When and when he plays state of origin. Every player
Valhams they always left. Yeah, always if you're playing for
playing for your state, you always lifted for your state.
So he's got a few players in front of him.
But if he has a good game, he might.
Speaker 3 (50:09):
Billy has my name. They tried to bait Billy on
who he's picking. He's not saying anything, and I don't
expect to play of the coaches will say anything until
they they try that every year to bait them or
who's in your team. They're not going to tell you.
They haven't. They'd have a good idea.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
Though, making up names. I'll be making up names all
right now.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
We'll get into our next segment where we'll talk about
some key matchups in the game. It is normally Coco segment,
but she was a Lake withdrawal tonight, so we'll go
into We'll make it. Well, you know what it is, Billy,
Billy's battles.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
He's out the field. The dragons flat row is not
his block.
Speaker 9 (51:09):
It's time to look at the one on one battles
that will decide the game.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
Will it be the chief position wills, will the fight be.
Speaker 3 (51:19):
Out wide or will it.
Speaker 2 (51:21):
Be one up front? Scrap yourself in for a proper.
Speaker 9 (51:31):
Classic.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
All right, Billy, take us for your key matchups for
this game on Sunday afternoon.
Speaker 5 (51:49):
Yep.
Speaker 8 (51:49):
So one of the key matchups I have is the
Battle of the Senners, So Moses surely and their homes
versus Catoni eggs and get harm sugar Saki. That should
be good. They're all powerful centers, I mean, even Sully,
even though he's been a bit of form recently, he's
(52:10):
still got power in him. Hopefully you can unleash it
this week. And another couple of key battles I've got
is the Bottle of Forwards. So this is just a
general battle, no specific players, but if we want to
win this weekend, we have to we have to match
(52:31):
it somewhat against this forward pack, like they're relentless when
they're at their best and Payne Harks and Pat Karragan, Like,
if we play like we did the last couple of weeks,
I don't know how close we come. Like, we have
to really get up for this matchup, because then they're
(52:53):
not gonna rest on us like they will put the
they will put the foot down and absolutely beat the
ship out of us because the way they've been going,
they're gonna want to put a show on for their
fans and to put a show on for their coach.
So you know, the forward pack is an extremely big
(53:14):
battle for us this weekend. What other battle I'd like
to go for will be We'll listen to Egan, I
think that's the matchup, or we'll listen and Sewer. Yeah,
so just the back rollers they're strong, so were we
got to use Egan and Sewer world this weekend. Give
(53:35):
him good ball, try and crash over. Egan can hit
a hole pretty well, so if we can find a
hole in the defense, I'd be given the team show
away because he just crash us through every single time. Yeah,
those are my battles for this week.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
On the centers there Billy undred percent in the centers
super sockey either. He's a good player. I think he
cut down from North Queensland. And how do you stop
containy stags? He runs that hard in the past.
Speaker 5 (54:12):
You in his place when the ball hits him, you have.
Speaker 2 (54:16):
To Holmes has to be on him. Are you going
to burn that side of the field.
Speaker 4 (54:24):
I agree with Billy, I reckon we're gone in the
middle if we don't compete at all against him in
the middle were paint arshole smashes. Absolutely, And one big
one for me is Adam Reynolds. Pressure on. Adam Reynolds
is a master class kicking the ball. So I mean,
you'll he'll tear us apart. And he doesn't none. He
(54:47):
just does normal bombs, has the spiral, the flavors, all
the sort of ship kicks it out wide, capable of
forty twenties. So yeah, if they they don't put pressure
on Reynolds, we're wearing to be in trouble.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
So I think he's the best game manager in the game, right.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Yeah. So, and you saw there was a game that
were recently.
Speaker 4 (55:09):
Yeah, guitar is brilliant too. Was the game that Jesse
played recently? Was pouring rain up there.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
The first time that was against the Bulldogs.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
Yeah, incredible kick.
Speaker 6 (55:20):
He kicked out White and he kicked the ball.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
The wing was running on it and he caught it.
Speaker 6 (55:25):
It was unbulliable.
Speaker 2 (55:27):
I think we've got to get so saw to belt
Reynolds every time against the ball. Yeah, side An Egan.
They've got to be on on onto Reynolds and stop
him every time. What we do against Manly, we stopped
Cherry Evans, we stopped Turbo maybe Jake on a.
Speaker 6 (55:53):
Man the asshole excuse the French.
Speaker 4 (55:55):
We've got to make sure that the stop signed dazz
or a red light because he didn't know. And we
just stobbing and sobbing in these tracks because he played
a good game the other day. He's a dangerous fighter.
Look this Jesse said before. What did you say before?
(56:18):
I forgot Now it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (56:21):
What remember.
Speaker 10 (56:24):
You can't remember. No, I'm old mate. It's nine thirty.
I'm going to go to sleep all right now. We'll
get into it next Thursday night. We'll have about the
second of the women's State of Origin games and the
second one will be at Alian Stadium. So to get
us in the mood, we'll have a look back at
game one what happened. I have a look a little
(56:45):
bit of a look what happened in game one. This
was how the teams look for game one, and there
are some changes to the Queensland lineup the game two.
Speaker 8 (56:55):
As they should be right there.
Speaker 11 (57:01):
Ian Johnson's got it right Church Camden Rams, Jamie calized again.
Speaker 12 (57:09):

Speaker 2 (57:25):

Speaker 2 (57:35):
Ellie Johnston, nd.
Speaker 11 (57:40):

Olivia Kannick both about Panthers, Joscelyn kellerher He mentions targets,

Speaker 5 (59:00):
Their anger.
Speaker 3 (59:05):
All right?
Speaker 5 (59:06):
Ali brigand Shaw. She's related to Larry Brigganshaw, isn't she.
Speaker 3 (59:11):
That's that's her father. I think yeah.
Speaker 5 (59:15):
He was a half East Brisbane the early eighties one
eighty three. I remember him, really good half. Thanks Dave
name when you.
Speaker 3 (59:28):
And Johnson, I am what are you doing?
Speaker 5 (59:33):
So come on?
Speaker 2 (59:37):
Just do you want to go for a new stuff?
Speaker 3 (59:38):
Well side mate, yes we will. So it is the
it's the same team that I had.
Speaker 5 (59:47):
You do it.
Speaker 3 (59:48):
It's the same team that one game won in Brisbane
thirty two points to twelve. So the coach John Strange
has not name not changed the line as no surprises there,
so Abby Chu at the back a great debut from her,
Jamie Chapman and Jamie Frizzard on the wings, Jess Sergis
and Isabel Kelly. In the centers. Isabel Kelly is the captain.
(01:00:10):
Tiana Panatani Gray is the Jesse Southwall. She had an
amazing game in game one short Pat's favorite to be
the woman of the match in game two. The front
row of Smimetta for Ellie Johnson. What a debut she
had was amazing as well as was Jamie Frizzard getting
a double. Kelly Davis ex Dragon is the hooker former
(01:00:31):
Dragon captain Kezy App says. The back row along with
Jasmin Clydesdale, Olivia Kurnik locksa scrum, the reigning down winner.
On the bench Joscelyn kellerher and Kennedy Cherrington, Sarah Togatuki
and Emma Vern formerly Emma Tonegado. And on the reserves
it's Shayley Bent, Olivia Higgins and Bridy Parker, and the
coach is John Strange. First time that we'll be playing
(01:00:54):
at Earli Undstadia in women's state of origin at Queensland
Big te they've named they have made one change. People
asking why they didn't make more changes considering the Blues
won by plenty at sun Court.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
It was just too wet when they played up there,
didn't they was pouring down with rain. Anybody could have
won that game got away with it well. To make
her up the back Water played to make and Julia
Robinson and Jasmine Peter's on the wing. She Naszoka and
Rory Owen in the semmers, Taron Aiken and Ali Brigginshaw
in the halves. Mackenzie will she comes off the bench
(01:01:30):
into the side, Lauren Brown, Jessica Else did she's a.
Speaker 3 (01:01:34):
New player in Jazz No No, Mackenzie whels than new
player into the.
Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Coming to the side. Okay came Ronny Title and Keilly.
Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Joseph in game one She's moving back to Locke.
Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
Jada Ferguson, Sophie Hollyman, Chelsea and the Dancy, Tavannah Papali,
Georgia Hanaway's any player, Destiny Brill who moves from the
starting side onto the center bench, and Haley Medick cage By.
They messed with this girl. She's Chuck Norris's sister. To Haney,
Norris is any Norris not to Honey anyway, let's just
(01:02:17):
go check for you and proof reading. You're going to
proof read these things. I thought they were lucky in
game one. I thought they could they well. Look, look,
both teams haven't played since the Grade fiural the last year.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
They yep, at the end of the nl W season
only half way to so.
Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Both teams are going to come off and New South
Wells just had the edge they got. A second game
is going to be different. The girl's going to be
together for a lot longer. I think New southwell is
one of the first game last year, didn't they Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
For the next two?
Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
There you go, it doesn't matter. So I think that's why.
That's so I can can do queens you can do
New South Wales. I'm going Queensland. It's going to be
close by about four to eight points.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
I think if if Jesse Saffle has the game she
did and and Newphis players play with that same intensity,
they will get the job done. But Queensland, as Queenslanders
do big t when they're down, they do step up,
don't they like when they're back to the wall. They've
done it time and time again. I'm not just in
the in the women's game, but in the men's game
as well. When they're down, they they love it when
(01:03:30):
they're back to it against the wall, big tea.
Speaker 2 (01:03:37):
Yeah, that's right. I like the I like the game
is a good concept. There we go three games, that's
going to be huge huge. When does the NLW start.
Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
Es July the third, so seven weeks away.
Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
Seven weeks so there's that much difference in the state
of origin and start of the season.
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Any players, Billy Roble or or you know Young and
what what do you do you follow the general w
and what?
Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
What?
Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
What players are you expecting to have big games.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
In this one?
Speaker 8 (01:04:13):
Chap Man, go chap Man. She's a goat.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Yep, so yep, she'll break the game.
Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
Do you think she'll get to try on this one?
Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
Two?
Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
Two tries to chap out?
Speaker 5 (01:04:31):
All right?
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Any anythings from you, Robert or Young on this game?
What what do you think you Soup Wales will wrap
it up in Sydney?
Speaker 5 (01:04:37):
Do you expect Shaw two tries?
Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
Who wins? Who wins? Did New South Wales wrap up
the series?
Speaker 5 (01:04:48):
I reckon Queensland might bounce back. Ah, big deal? Love that.
Speaker 3 (01:04:55):
Rob, But what do you think is gonna happen? Can Can?
It's gonna be a big probably, there's a big crowd
out there at Aarlians Stadium. Have the chance to win too, nil.
Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
Was to win obviously, you know, but strange things happen.
I think Queens are going to be much better this
time around. Yeah, but I still think you South Wales
will be too strong. So I like to see the
old flame score a try of Lamex Jess Surgis. I
(01:05:27):
like her so yeah, to see if she gets over
the trail line. But yeah, I just think maybe yourself
will be too strong. So sure what I saw in
the first game, so if they carry that a mentor men,
I think they'll be too strong, a bit like what
happens to the men's in the first game coming up
as well, too, New South too strong.
Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
Yeah, I'm going to go with the Blues. I'm gonna
be up this came. I'm looking forward to it. First
one to be played at Alian's first time in New
South Wales can win the three game series. Actually they
haven't actually won the series since they made it a series,
So if New Soiles can get this when it'll be
huge to wrap it up we'd rather much. We don't
really want that third game in Newcastle in a few
(01:06:10):
weeks time. We look, we love a dead.
Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
Number, we don't love we love one all going to
the third game and I think, I think, I think
Casey Ray, Casey Casey Ray is doing Nancy Kerrigan on
because what she got to do to get a start
top trial scorer. W she's got to I don't do
Nancy Kerigan taken Berry Sorry, yeah, here with or something from.
Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
What's going on in this That's what we were where.
Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
You won't taken where you want Tagan.
Speaker 4 (01:06:55):
You know how, you know how sometimes your head goes
to the wrong places. I remember years ago Maddie Head
only had the team. What I'm sitting there in the
crowd and dres balls a game?
Speaker 5 (01:07:04):
What do you want? He make you laugh?
Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
Is that the women's origin you're talking about me? Or
are you talking about the Dragons game against the Broncos.
I think the drug New South Wales will get the
job done. Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing this game.
It's going to be good. If the we don't want,
we don't want Brisbane to hold the record for the
highest crowding women's origin. We want it on it to
(01:07:33):
be held in Sydney, that'd be nice. The twenty six
pounds at sun Corp, I think we're going to top
that on Thursday night at Aliands. Thirty plus thousand I'm
expecting there. So if you're not doing anything, tickets are
just ten dollars, so if you can get if you
want to go, go ahead and it should be a
carracking game. But I'm going to go the Blues by twelve.
(01:07:54):
I'm going to go Jesse Southwell to be the player
of the match, the woman in the match. I'm going
to go big Ellie Johnston to get another tries well.
She she was huge in game one and I think
she'll get another trying game to Queensland. Yeah, I just
they'll be better. But I do think New South Walis
get the chocolates at home in this one. Now we'll
(01:08:15):
get onto lower grades. You're watching the Madge Dragons plotlass
sponsored by Complete Warehouse Solutions, so lower grades news. So

last night. And here are some photos from the Young
Dragons first session. Let's have a look at those. So
(01:10:22):
we do have yes, So here's here we have Zalie
Hopkins and Margo Vella. Margo Vella big his favorite player
missed big chunk of last year due to a serious
ankle injury. But yeah, Big t Tay, Zalie Hopkins, our
super starb there's our star player we're talking about before,
(01:10:43):
Teagan Berry. She's just on another contract to be here
until the end of twenty twenty six. With their Zalie
Hopkins and also Bobby Law there we do have here
as well. Margo there again and Jamie Millard. One of
our new recruits actually played soccer previously, so she's she
(01:11:03):
has played a bit of league before. But yeah, so
she does make the step up to the squad. Margo
Vella there again, there. There she is Big t the maggot.
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Maggot, that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
And there's our new recruit, just signed in the last
couple of days, Nita Maynard, Premiership winner hor er Keewee
Fern International, welcome to the club. There's our captain Racy
McGregor with the shanan alandole there, and there's our new
coach Nathan Cross laying down the law at his first
training session, racing McGregor and Tigan Bury there and Boom
(01:11:40):
Ala boom young gun Ala Costa who was a star
in the Indigenous All Stars team at the start of
the year. And yeah, and our top twenty four is complete.
We did touch on Anita Maynard signing on Sunday show,
but now that the top twenty four squad is complete,
I'll run through how the Dragon squad will will fare
this year and just I'll just read you through the names,
(01:12:03):
but we'll get into more detail about that in a later,
much later show later.
Speaker 5 (01:12:06):
In the year.
Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
So the Dragon's twenty twenty five Anna O w squatt
is as follows Charlotte Basham, Teagan Berry, Indy Bostock, Keeley Brown,
Sophie Clancy, Alice Gregory, Grace Hamilton, Zalie Hopkins, oleviy ingram
Ela Costa, Bobby law, Cheney Lendall, Jammie Lee McGregor, Racine McGregor,
Jamie Millard, Madison mulholl, Casey Ray Sarah's our tier. New
(01:12:30):
recruit has Southwell, also a new recruit Peer taps All,
Trinity Townei Margo, Vella, Bronti Wilson, and another new recruit
in Nieder Maynard. And the coach is Nathan Cross So yeah,
it's our top twenty four is instead big t How
do you think the under the girls will go this year?
Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Underneath quite well yourself.
Speaker 5 (01:12:54):
We want to there.
Speaker 2 (01:12:57):
They've they've been off their game for the last couple
of years. I don't know whether it was what's happening
in the club. And yeah, so hopefully Crossing you can
bring them. And we had Sam saidad on the other
night they have a day in we jazz Yep. He's
(01:13:18):
a part of the girls, the girl's coaching side. So
he's saying they're looking good and yeah, we'll be We're
back into the game. Hopefully we can get into the
same news this year. Yeah, he's a top coach too.
Across he's very Queensland coach. He's got to be it's
(01:13:40):
gotta be.
Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
Well, it was racing mcgree an Johnson. I'm not sure
if Nathan Cross will have the same values, but it
would be hard to go past racing rig although how
to Spell does have experience as well. She was captain
of the Knights, so she could very well be the
captain as well. Has had a work of success. She's
a free time premiership winner as well as Begregor. Now
(01:14:05):
now we do have okay, we'll get into our news
and views. So you're on the main Dragon's podcast sponsored
by Complete Warehouse Solutions, so lower grade. So Joseph Flake
do have the buy this weekend. But the new South
Wales Cup side they'll be playing it's actually clashing with
the NRL game on Sunday. They'll be playing at three
(01:14:25):
pm against the North Sydney Bears at North Sydney Oval
on Sunday at three o'clock games at once Ben Ben
rumble and only fin out on the wings now interesting
to see only fin Now. Donnie reported he did come
off with a leg injury and that that that went
over the Jets on Sunday morning. So Willie Tallor has
(01:14:48):
named him. Surprisingly, he might not be as bad as
first fought. Nick to Granas in the centers with Hayden Buchanan,
the hearts at Jonah Glover and Lachlan Ilias. The front
rows are finer Latu. He hasn't a front row partner,
hasn't been knowing me named there Hawker Connor Mullinson. Second
roller is Jacob Halengar who he has no second row
partner either. Michael Moller will lock the scrum on the bench,
(01:15:12):
Haley Fineer no number fifteen either, Billy Army for feeder
and Jet Leu round out the bench and the coach
is Willie Tellou So quite a few players.
Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
There's two spots down, there's two spots. Then it's two
spots for a million row front round, second row. We'll
get out in there and never run, that's all right,
and you I'll do it for a pie and a candicake.
Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
Run probably twenty years that I'm probably more on their
twenty four years.
Speaker 3 (01:15:41):
I'm guessing maybe they're trying to wait to see who
will travel to Brisbane with the NROL team, and then
they'll probably slop those players in once they know who's
not traveling to Brisbane Now News and Rumors. You're you're
on the Mad Dragons podcast. I'm sponsored by Complete We
Our solutions are a statement released by the Dragons today.
(01:16:02):
There was an article released so on Saturday, during the
game against the Warriors, local teachers and junior rugby league
volunteers were invited to win Stadium on Saturday as part
of the Women in League Round. So forty women from
different areas across the club's catchment area attended an event
at the Steelers Club before the Dragons and Warriors clash.
(01:16:24):
A female football manager and an All NRLW captain, Sam Bremna,
was a special guest on Dragons TV before the game. Now, Rob,
how special would it be to how special was it
to see the women involved in our Saint Georgian and
Illoora areas honored as part of this special round And
good to see him get the attention they deserve being
(01:16:45):
allowed on the wind Stadium field prior to kickoff on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
Yeah, women do so much for a game behind the scenes,
involved in a game in lots of ways too, but
you know, just just great for them to be involved
and we recognize them, which is really important.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
I think a great.
Speaker 4 (01:17:10):
Idea, and I assume obviously we'll keep on continuing with
the n r L and with what the Dragon's obviously
done as well.
Speaker 6 (01:17:17):
So thoroughly deserved me.
Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
Yep, and.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
All that game to Big Ta. We saw Sam Bremna
interviewed on Dragons TV before the game. She is very
happy to be back at the club. It's good to
see her, someone like her back to the club. It
was very hard to see her and Rooster's colors last year.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Yeah, it was, but that's what happens. You've got players,
you've got the swamp clubs every year. Recently, in the
past few years, the girls weren't a getting a one
year contract, so they could have ended could have end
up anywhere, that's right. Yeah, they could have anywhere anywhere.
And Sam, he went to went to she came back
(01:18:02):
to us, she came back home. So hey, it does
she be a big, big pick up for the girls.
And she can mentor some of the some of the
players too, so it would be good from the younger players. Yeah, yep,
that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:18:20):
Yeah, very good to see the play of her color
back and you've got a lot of people more smarts
and great to see her involved the club and without
her they wouldn't be a Dragons n er a W team.
She was a real catalyst for it. Now News and Views,
so interesting article. I saw an interesting report I did
here on se N. I know Rob you did listen
(01:18:42):
to SCN quite a little bit, but I don't know
if you missed this today. I don't know if you
caught this or not. So Greg Alexander Andrew Voss. Actually
we're discussing. It's been a discussion point, not just a she,
but over many years. Why are this Why is the
trainer on the field for long periods of time during games? Now,
Greg Alexander did explain how it all works, so the
(01:19:05):
trainer when they are on and off the field. I
did speak to Big Ta about the outline of this
pre show. So they come under four headings, so unlimited access,
limited access during possession, during possession rules, and interchange assistance.
Now in summary, blue shirt trainers may only enter the
(01:19:25):
field after teams gains possession of the football and must
leap the field at completion of the fourth tackle. This
rule has been modified to limit the blue shirt trainers
access to the field when their team is in possession
to a maximum of three occasions per half. Blue shirt
chainers will be required to hand a designated card to
(01:19:46):
an NRL interchange official on each occasion prior to entering
the field of play. They are being monitored by the
interchange official. Now, however, unlimited Access says whose shirt trainers
can enter the field at any time to attend an
injured or ill player, administer water, and assist with player interchanges.
(01:20:10):
So hypothetically, if say, if Billy was on the field
and he felt a bit sick, you could go attend.
The trainer could go attend to him at any time.
If any of you have any thoughts on when the
trainer can come on off the field or do you
think of that summary and do you think the trainer
(01:20:31):
is on the field a little bit too long in games?
Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
The better he's got a trainer, Like if you've got
an next player out there, like Alfie, he's calling the places,
isn't he. He's out there calling the place of the time,
So I know you've got to kick I'm actually tired now,
But it would have been a prime example of who
runs a game for the Broncos. You've got you've got
(01:20:55):
to x players running around eleven places he's out there
giving advice, he's out there doing this, he's out there
doing that, calling behind the line as the first things
that happened as well too, didn't the ball as well too?
Speaker 13 (01:21:10):
And the penis actually don't know, trains we got the ball, yeah, yeah,
and the cabin was doing it two plays later or something.
Speaker 3 (01:21:25):
Yeah, anyway, what what do what? Anyone you got anything
to add about trainers being on the field.
Speaker 5 (01:21:32):
Yeah, I don't have an issue with it.
Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
When I when I was playing, when I was a
junior trainer from a boys team, we were allowed on
all they had the ball and not allowed on when
the other ball. You have to go and see the
alignsman when you went on, and yeah, you couldn't be
on there after the fifth players.
Speaker 3 (01:21:55):
Yeah, because you do notice something some trainers just out
there for a long periods of time, whether they are
giving them what the coach's instructions are or who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:22:03):
All right, that's all right, they're talking to the cap.
Speaker 5 (01:22:06):
The other team can do it as well, so.
Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
Yeah, I don't know. It's it's a hard one, isn't
it really.
Speaker 4 (01:22:11):
I mean, as long as it did not directly getting
involved with the play where they're running in the plays
or whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
There was a falcon that was there a couple of
weeks ago, but trying to run.
Speaker 5 (01:22:24):
Again. Yea, that's right, weird the current Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:22:30):
He just probably probably storming the tea cup. I don't
even have you massive crackdown or anything like that.
Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
All right, now, I'll throw this one to you, young.
So the Bulldogs want final latu before June thirty. They
will speak to the Dragons by the end of the
week which player they want in return. Would you be
willing to give the Bulldogs final latus seeming that he
does have a country with us, or would you not
do it if we don't get a player in return
(01:22:58):
since he's in the top thirty spot for us.
Speaker 5 (01:23:00):
To recent you want someone in return? But what are
they going to offer us? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:23:11):
Did you see? Do you see what he said to
Ricky the other day?
Speaker 5 (01:23:14):
We got a dog.
Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
Off the first grader.
Speaker 5 (01:23:22):
It'll be a reserve grade or a number twenties player.
So I'm not really sure you'd want to like the lot.
You probably want to lock or or a PLoP. Would
you say you need a middle on a really good middle.
So if they can offer us a good middle.
Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
Which one they've got there in halves? Jess is anybody
name coming coming straight from burd and sext and like,
ta'll take the young what's young's name? He's going Mitchell
will take Mitchell Woods, Mitchell Woods, Yeah him out, check
him out.
Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
Let Fall because is a Red player as well.
Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
Absolutely gun the.
Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
Young Bard that hasn't debuted yet.
Speaker 5 (01:24:15):
I was gutted to losing, but look, he wanted to
be a bulldog anyway, as Robert hold him, I let
him go.
Speaker 3 (01:24:25):
Then, as Rob said a few weeks ago, if the
Dragons really wanted to keep when we should have done
it last year.
Speaker 5 (01:24:33):
Yeah, leave it to the last minute.
Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
I hate when comes in like a like a Jerry mcguide.
Neil wasn't it with.
Speaker 6 (01:24:48):
His number one.
Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
Beforehand? We should have signed him last year before he
could speak with any other club.
Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
Yeah, he was more worried about getting other players and
like climbing this year, they're not thinking about Yeah, Nearly's
not thinking about the play.
Speaker 2 (01:25:06):
He's going to be dynamite.
Speaker 5 (01:25:07):
He's cracking in a player managers. But on this one,
I blame Planet for not getting it done. We're all
calling for it's left it way too late and he's
it's going to be a gun.
Speaker 2 (01:25:23):
Does your head yep?
Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
Now go to youth with this one, Billy. The Vegas
team said to be unveiled tomorrow. It looks like it
will be us, the Bulldogs, the Knights and the Cowboys.
What do you make of this news?
Speaker 5 (01:25:44):
Yet?
Speaker 8 (01:25:45):
If we verst the Bulldogs, it should be good. I
might make my way anyway. I'll go with my mate and.
Speaker 3 (01:26:00):
Hi, you're gonna take Max with you?
Speaker 2 (01:26:04):
Oh, he wouldn't want to take idea?
Speaker 5 (01:26:08):
Yeah, well beforehand, might be all right, might be might
be a predominantly Dragon's fan base. Udly, you need a
Bulldogs to be able to be allowed. You're not getting
Visus to go over there.
Speaker 8 (01:26:30):
No, But in general it's good because you know, I
guess every team is going to get this shot. It's
our turn. And if we if we do end up
getting anounced tomorrow, I'm going to be trying to book something.
Speaker 2 (01:26:47):
You're going to start to go fund You're going.
Speaker 5 (01:26:56):
We need to start a gay funding. We need to
get a Vegas will do it for me?
Speaker 3 (01:27:02):
Do the do the vodcast live from Fremont Street.
Speaker 5 (01:27:05):
Theodat.
Speaker 8 (01:27:07):
Stuff Federal three sixty. They can get stuffed Bud Rothfield's
opinions are like fossils.
Speaker 3 (01:27:13):
On Allegiance Stadium. How would that good? Would that be.
Speaker 5 (01:27:17):
Level? I'd love it, I'd go all right.
Speaker 3 (01:27:21):
So Origin player Origin teams get picked, New South Wales
get picked. Sunday night, Queensland Monday morning. First game will
be at sun Corp, Big t your Billy slater, Tell
me who is in your seventeen for game one and
include an eight?
Speaker 2 (01:27:39):
H men, Oh my god, you should have asked me
this earliest, like I fucking.
Speaker 3 (01:27:43):
Research it question without notice?
Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Thank you very much? What should be at? And you
just still home it back? I'll have Combo on one wing,
Umm Xavier over your coach on the other. I have
Shibasaki and Perdue in the centers, well off the bench
(01:28:10):
on the gun. Off the top of my head, I
can't remember every player in the game. Queensland at them
all in my twenty Carrigan has Harry Grant. Harry Grant,
I'm not half he's the Blues, yes, the back rounders.
(01:28:36):
I don't know how David I'm si was not playing.
Speaker 5 (01:28:39):
He's playing reserve grade this weekend, Big Tam.
Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
Because he won't playing the left. Yeah, I won't playing the.
Speaker 5 (01:28:46):
World spots, so they send him back to the reserves.
Speaker 2 (01:28:51):
So you wouldn't play on one side time on Gilbert
and all you've got Tom Gilbert, Gilbert, you've got in
the halves, You've got you've got Monster, You've got North
Queen's name player, what's his name? Then you've got thousands
of them, thousands of them. Jerry Evans will play. Jerry
(01:29:14):
Evans be my half you always.
Speaker 5 (01:29:17):
Gilbert's got to be selected. He's a hard man, a
hard player.
Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
So many players, there so many players off the top
of me, and I couldn't tell you it's too hot
for the reason, it's just hard. You've got so many
players who were last year's backgrounds.
Speaker 3 (01:29:40):
I had.
Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
And he's playing in the centers for the Warriors, now
is he? Well, there you go, he's back in his position.
Players and you give me give me the question without notice,
Thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (01:29:59):
Question. When Papa your Guinea comes in and we and
the the old North City Bears going to come into Perth,
where does that leave the Origin Arena? Because you're going
to have like twenty teams and you know a lot
of these players aren't going to be able to play
(01:30:20):
red footy, so is it still going to be relevant anymore?
Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
That's the way they think.
Speaker 3 (01:30:26):
So I'll find time. It's the pinnacle of the game.
I know you want international to be there, but everyone
wants to play origin.
Speaker 2 (01:30:34):
As soon as we go to twenty teams, the competition
goes down to twenty rounds?
Speaker 3 (01:30:39):
What play everyone once?
Speaker 8 (01:30:41):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:30:41):
No, two divisions, two conferences on each other to two conferences? Yeah,
ten teams? What will have there?
Speaker 2 (01:30:49):
What will have there instead of state of origin? Be
conference best conference? Yeah, your best players out of those
two conferences? For sure, that's what it is.
Speaker 5 (01:31:00):
Or will you're going to a lottery? And will it
change up every year?
Speaker 2 (01:31:02):
It'll be it'll be one.
Speaker 5 (01:31:06):
Rivalry in the conferences.
Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
You know, well you could do that, you could have that,
but I reckon it'll change every year.
Speaker 5 (01:31:18):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
All right now, all right, I'm going to try this
one that you believe. Okay, who will be in your
blues storry?
Speaker 2 (01:31:33):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
Sorry? Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:31:33):
Sorry? Yes? Which one of your bases is that? Hey?
Is it has man?
Speaker 3 (01:31:40):
Is it you?
Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
Jess? Could even be Donnie? Which one of you is?
Which one of his?
Speaker 6 (01:31:45):
I think it's uh, yeah, I think I know who
it is. It's mild mad leeds back?
Speaker 3 (01:31:56):
Who'd be in your blue slide? Billy, You're Lorry Daily.
Speaker 8 (01:32:00):
I'm Laura Daily, all right? Sweet full back? Clint Otherson
were other center, Nathan Lawson, Corey Allen.
Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
Queen were like, Scoop, thanks, thanks, Bill, it's a great zooy.
Speaker 5 (01:32:22):
You have lost the plot.
Speaker 8 (01:32:25):
You've got Scoop can't fight again? Is the best nepotistic?
Speaker 3 (01:32:41):
Does anyone else want to take it?
Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
Do you want to name a genuine side you're going
to be full back? Who's fullback for raw Pepper happening?
Speaker 5 (01:32:53):
Hap? I don't think so. It's either gonna eat Edwards
or the Desco.
Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
I reckon Edwards injured Edwards.
Speaker 3 (01:33:05):
Edwards isn't injured. He's played a.
Speaker 5 (01:33:07):
Couple of back in time, but he's only going to
play one game?
Speaker 3 (01:33:09):
Are the he I think if they went to Desco,
they'd be going backwards. He's had his time in that
arenas Tommy in the.
Speaker 5 (01:33:16):
Side, so you'd also play Turbo there.
Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
That's what I was just said. Is Tommy in the side.
Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
Tommy's not fit, He's not one hundred.
Speaker 2 (01:33:24):
Sorry, we'll wrap Jake.
Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
No, No, I don't think so. Mobile he didn't he
only played eighty five minutes in the three games last year.
Speaker 2 (01:33:36):
That's right. He didn't the too, Yeah, he didn't play many.
He was captain as well.
Speaker 3 (01:33:40):
Yeah, I think Isaia will be the new captain. Yeah,
there's talk that he could share the captaincy with Nathan Cleary.
M all right, well, if no one wants to have it,
I'll give the site. Then who's on your wings?
Speaker 2 (01:33:55):
Who's on your wings? You think as well too?
Speaker 3 (01:34:01):
He's back this week?
Speaker 8 (01:34:03):
No, oh, bright, why not?
Speaker 3 (01:34:10):
I'm going to go Brant and Jacob Carraza.
Speaker 5 (01:34:19):
You can't say that.
Speaker 3 (01:34:20):
On you, I think, Mitch. I think we'll go with Mitchell.
Speaker 8 (01:34:25):
I reckon, ye're true. Bradman hasn't been.
Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
I mean, he hasn't been informed.
Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
It's not being any good side.
Speaker 5 (01:34:35):
I don't matter. I don't think it would better. I
played Bradman best my farm.
Speaker 3 (01:34:40):
I reckon, they're going to go with Moses and Cleary.
Speaker 2 (01:34:44):
Yeah, that's what I mean.
Speaker 5 (01:34:50):
But lou.
Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
Moses is meaning Moses was awesome last year. You cannot
drop him.
Speaker 5 (01:34:58):
Yeah, can play in the game.
Speaker 6 (01:35:06):
Did you guys think Crichton would make.
Speaker 3 (01:35:08):
It in the Sinners Steven, Yeah, he's the best center
right now.
Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
Him trill Angus, you're leaving the troll out now.
Speaker 3 (01:35:19):
I've got Latroll is my center. Okay, front rolls paying half.
He'll be the first one picked. Yeah, I'm gonna go. Barnett. Barnett, Yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (01:35:39):
Bill, I like him.
Speaker 3 (01:35:41):
Hookup will be I pick Ree. Robson will get it again.
I think he'll just be happy.
Speaker 8 (01:35:47):
Do you want.
Speaker 3 (01:35:52):
Second rowers? I think Angus Crichton will keep his spot.
William he's a hard nut. He's made for Origin.
Speaker 2 (01:36:02):
He's got to be got to be there.
Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
And Isaiah will lock the scrum my bench. I think
Connor Watson, he did a great job as a ut
to leave last year. He can play anywhere. He'll be there.
There's talk Spencer len you will be there. He wouldn't
be in my team. I'd go someone like a Tyrrell mate.
He's been very good for the Tigers. He makes two
hundred meters a game. He's very good. Hudson Young I
(01:36:30):
don't know how they're going to use him though, but
he's been incredible for the Raiders. I think he'll be
in the team somewhere. And bring on, and who's my
last player I'm going to go?
Speaker 9 (01:36:47):
I think I'm going to go, oh, Wilson in the
in the in the chat, Yeah he's playing well, Thig Wilson.
Speaker 3 (01:37:01):
Who's Wilson? Is there?
Speaker 2 (01:37:04):
Isn't it a corner take?
Speaker 3 (01:37:08):
He's been injured?
Speaker 2 (01:37:09):
Wilton?
Speaker 4 (01:37:10):
Is he?
Speaker 3 (01:37:10):
Okay, he's been injured.
Speaker 8 (01:37:14):
I'll tell you what Britain of Korra wasn't New Zealand.
I'm thinking him?
Speaker 5 (01:37:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:37:20):
What's the game with your your man? Tina? Is he?
Is he overseas?
Speaker 5 (01:37:26):
He's been playing well?
Speaker 2 (01:37:30):
Captain?
Speaker 5 (01:37:31):
So is he?
Speaker 2 (01:37:32):
Is he playing for Queensland?
Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
Or he'll be one of the first pick oney, big
team doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (01:37:38):
If you want to play for samar anyway, you can
get picked in the Queensland side.
Speaker 5 (01:37:42):
Can well?
Speaker 2 (01:37:44):
Who's the guy from cameras? Are a good top of?
Speaker 5 (01:37:46):
Is he?
Speaker 2 (01:37:50):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (01:37:50):
There's some players that could get selected.
Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
What about I'm talking about to Jacob Side.
Speaker 3 (01:37:58):
I don't think so.
Speaker 6 (01:38:03):
Yeah, I'll tell you who I thought was an outsider
or a smoke He was Tob Cowsman. But obvious he's injured,
but I thought he was maybe a slight chance of
making it.
Speaker 5 (01:38:12):
I think he will play eventually.
Speaker 3 (01:38:23):
I think actually I'm going to go smokey. I think
maybe actually I think he will go with Spencer and
he hasn't been in great form, but he did drop
there last year. I will go without tips for the
weekend now, so just go to per game. We'll start
with you, big t. When the Knights take on the
Eels to kick off round eleven, the Knights s Fletcher
(01:38:44):
Hunt will make his debut. He comes in for the
injured Greg marsu Well Thomas can't comes in for Leo
Thompson for the Eels. That man Zach Lomax returns from
that broken foot he picked up against the Dragons and
Tony muter l A had been on the Ventures and
old debut. With Bailey Simonson and Charlie Geimer out of
the side, Knights or the Eels, big team, tough one
(01:39:07):
to pick this one.
Speaker 2 (01:39:09):
I should have breaked his leg. I thought he was
were going to play well last week and week before,
but he was just Newcastle starting to come back. So
I think I'm going to go to Knights in this one.
Speaker 3 (01:39:27):
Did collapse actually last week against the Titans.
Speaker 2 (01:39:30):
Yeah, but I'll come back this week, I'm sure of it.
Adam O'Brien has to get that team firing or he's gone.
Speaker 3 (01:39:39):
Rob Knights or the Eels.
Speaker 6 (01:39:41):
Don't get Because I heard of Jake during the weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:39:44):
I was pretty sad joke about Adam over how he
prepares his team for the game he gets, he gets
on the stand behind the goal post of training.
Speaker 2 (01:39:54):
I'll tell you a very good team all right.
Speaker 3 (01:39:59):
Friday night, but the competition leading Dogs will be taking
on the Roosters. That's the main game on Friday night,
the eight o'clock game. Billy so Luke Smith comes in
for his aner old debut. Jam And Salmon drops out
of the side with injury. Youngie for the Roosters. Lindsey
Collins returns on the bench, which sees Celesie for Kenny
(01:40:19):
drop to the extended bench. Now I throw to you, Billy,
who's your tip in this one? Do the Bulldog keep
the roll going?
Speaker 8 (01:40:27):
Yeah? Dogs by ten? I reckon it'll be tight. Roosters
have been in some decent form recently, and yeah, I
think it should be a good matchup. Hopefully it is
Friday a PM. And I think it'll be a big turnout.
If it's the Dog's home, yep, it'll be a big turnout.
(01:40:47):
So it should be a good game. And I'm going
to go.
Speaker 3 (01:40:50):
Dogs with ten roosters have picked up some form recently.
Young Will it be enough to stop the competition leading
dogs though Rooster?
Speaker 5 (01:41:01):
Yeah? Actually not, just because I'm saying that, I think
res is a win all.
Speaker 3 (01:41:07):
Right, I'm the early kickoff on Saturday three pm, Rob.
It's the Dolphins and the Warriors. Now the Dolphins are
run changed from their win over Paramatta. For the Warriors,
Billy James Harris bigin, He's back, Samuel Heally also named
on the bench, but out is Jackson Ford with concussion.
I will start with you, Rob, Who do you like
(01:41:28):
in this one that's in Brisbane. Dolphins got the win
at Paramounter, a rare winning Sydney for them. Warriors lucky
to get away with the win against us. Who do
you think?
Speaker 2 (01:41:42):
I'm just purely going on.
Speaker 4 (01:41:44):
I'm doing this for as man because Jackson Ford's out
and he's the best player in the competition in the NRL.
Speaker 2 (01:41:49):
I really got Dolphins. Wasn't he knock sens us? Last week?
The Finns played the ball sideways? It should have been
that penalty there, that one penalty to be.
Speaker 4 (01:42:01):
To be honest, you're on the improve and I think, yeah,
I don't know, worries. It really impressed me, to be
honest with you.
Speaker 8 (01:42:08):
And he hadn't clocks that not go off.
Speaker 2 (01:42:14):
Cow that was cramped. That was cramped.
Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
That There were a lot of questionable decisions in that
game though no.
Speaker 2 (01:42:22):
Nickel clock start was cramped made. He couldn't bend his
leg to play the ball fair enough. He looked no, no,
like he did look dazed. But that was cramped. He
couldn't bend his legs to play the ball fair enough.
All right, he's back, but only on Sundays.
Speaker 3 (01:42:39):
Yeah, he works on Tuesdays at Perth time, he'd still
be at work. Well not now, but when the show
starts he would have been at work.
Speaker 2 (01:42:47):
Yeah, yeahday soon.
Speaker 3 (01:42:51):
Now, five thirty Saturday, it's the game is in Townsville.
The Cowboys are run changed from their golden point draw
with the with the pan. There's big T for the
for the manly. Caleb Navali comes onto the bench and
Matt Lodge has been named on the extender bench, as
has the highly titled rugby convert Joey Walsh. Who do
(01:43:15):
you like in this one? Big T Cowboys versus Manly?
Speaker 2 (01:43:21):
I think boys up? Cowboys up there their halves are
on fire, won.
Speaker 3 (01:43:30):
Perduce moved to six.
Speaker 2 (01:43:32):
I heard that. I actually did you hear that? He's
a good player, Perard you. I haven't seen him play six.
I don't where he's going to go. Yeah, but I
think I think the Cowboys Cowboys up at was it
f QCB, QCB another hundred small stadium anymore Queensland Country
(01:43:53):
Banks Stadium.
Speaker 5 (01:43:54):
There we go. Ever, since Cherry Evans said he wants out,
they just hadn't mean the same thing.
Speaker 2 (01:44:00):
That's part of the problem. Killed him where he's going
and then then lost Tommy for a while.
Speaker 5 (01:44:07):
And yeah, yeah, it was pretty obviously he's going the
Roosters because they're trying to offload players to feed him
in and center.
Speaker 3 (01:44:20):
It's already gone. He's going to South and affect him immediately,
but not until he's over his injury.
Speaker 5 (01:44:25):
But yeah, let's get with you believe can we get
Sam and Smith's petition or Humphreys from South?
Speaker 2 (01:44:37):
It was actually a small room scoop. You should should
have broaked this. You want to be Luke Carrey maybe
there player there bringing back.
Speaker 9 (01:44:54):
Now?
Speaker 5 (01:44:58):
Well where we're going to field?
Speaker 2 (01:44:59):
All in to everybody? Thanks, still got one spot left thanks,
still got one spot left, They've got.
Speaker 3 (01:45:05):
No Saturday seven thirty five pm, Rob your favorite place,
Shark Park.
Speaker 5 (01:45:18):
Just around the corner from the Swamp.
Speaker 3 (01:45:22):
The Sharks will be taking on the Melbourne Storm. Now
the Sharks who welcome back to see a sept for
Tellerchai t Wilton's been named on the extend events, but
Thomas Hailton drops out of the side for the Melbourne Storm.
They do welcome back to camic Amiga on the bench.
Harry Grant also on the extended bench. He'll be looking
to get a kid out before going into the Queensland team.
(01:45:43):
Lazarus by Lepoo drops out of the of the seventeen
and Nelson Assatha Solomona drops the extender bench. That's a
surprise decision by Craig Bellamy, but he could very well
make his way back into the seventeen by kickoff at
Shark Park. The Sharks good winner. Mainly is it enough
to take down the Melbourne Storm.
Speaker 2 (01:46:06):
Sharks.
Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
I think Sharks are maybe on the improved, but I
think mainly a crapoler at the moment. Like what I
was just saying is all this tree having stuff happening
Melbourne were just so clinical.
Speaker 2 (01:46:18):
I mean, what a performance that they put on.
Speaker 4 (01:46:23):
So yeah, and I think stay of origin time. Now,
obviously there's going to be a few Melbourne players game iss,
so I think bell and You'll have them. You know
it's to win.
Speaker 6 (01:46:36):
So I think Melbourne will win, but you know it'll
be a challenging game, I'm sure because Sharks will give
it everything.
Speaker 2 (01:46:43):
I think Melbourne will just be too good and younger.
Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
You're the Melbourne man on the panel, did you did
you see that game on Sunday? They were absolutely clinical,
as Rob said.
Speaker 5 (01:46:52):
Right, hello Melbourne.
Speaker 2 (01:46:56):
Yeah, it was a better result than they had started
the start of the game and they played played paramount
when the rooster as well.
Speaker 5 (01:47:07):
I ah, you don't know what you're going to get.
Speaker 2 (01:47:12):
The games, That's that's what he said, billow me. Now
he's worked on that.
Speaker 4 (01:47:16):
That was clinical. If you watched the game of the highlights,
that first half was unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (01:47:23):
Had a hat trick within seventeen minutes, record.
Speaker 2 (01:47:25):
Tripe and school. How he did that was incredible, unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (01:47:31):
Yeah, and just next door is the n c G.
It felt like the Melbourne thought playing a game of cricket.
The way the score handed up.
Speaker 7 (01:47:43):
Dan little Is said, is going to come back to
the Milton one of the Dragons going to come back
Downy and they never played any.
Speaker 3 (01:47:55):
No, they were down there last few year number won down.
Speaker 2 (01:47:59):
We made them.
Speaker 3 (01:48:00):
Yeah, I think the Storm will be too good for
that one. The Sharks they're going okay, but I don't
think they're a top four side this year.
Speaker 2 (01:48:10):
If you remember last year we've been both Premier Premiership,
I mean both.
Speaker 5 (01:48:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:48:18):
Now the TV game on Sunday we'll see the Raiders.
They'll be looking about back from their second half collapse
against the Bulldogs. They do walk them back. Corey Hawsbrough,
that's a big gin, but they do lose. They're big red,
but they do lose. Maddy Nicholson, the Englishman, he's been
impressive I start to the NRL his career. I think
(01:48:41):
he's picked up a leg injury. I think so that's
a big out for the Titans. They do welcome back
Kieran for and that's the Biginn. He's been named on
the bench, as has James gill Arama. Howe has dropped
back to the extendard bench. Well, big T's boy Isaac Barcel.
We picked up Can Cush and so he's out of
the team. So Billy Elfreddie you who do you like
(01:49:05):
in this one? Do the Raiders get the job done?
In camera on Sunday afternoon?
Speaker 8 (01:49:10):
Oh yeah, I think Raiders. Raiders are a class team.
Like they're just gritty and tough and they do that.
They're pretty much based off how Ricky Stewart played. So
you know, I think that went well. Yeah, I think
that went by give me twenty two. Look, right, Raiders Raiders.
(01:49:39):
Every year everyone doubts them and they and they just
show everyone up.
Speaker 5 (01:49:43):
So I actually think, I actually think they're a chance
of winning the whole thing this year. Yeah, I forget
that that second half on the weekend, I don't know
what that was. But so I think the Raiders might
get close this year. Yeah when it is eleven, right.
Speaker 3 (01:50:08):
They just missed out. They finished tenth tenth.
Speaker 2 (01:50:12):
But they've been they've been having that for the last
couple of years. They've been bringing those young guys for
in the in the back line, getting some hard heads
in the in the front row. It's the pretty lost
Elliott Whitehead this year. It was a good player for him.
But they're they having They brought in Maddy Nicholson's real Yeah,
(01:50:35):
stronger and stronger every week, but they always seem to
find the pummy players.
Speaker 5 (01:50:40):
Yeah, what can we do that?
Speaker 3 (01:50:43):
Yeah, we should have a look at England. We can't
get any from other clubs.
Speaker 5 (01:50:47):
Yeah, especially in the in the middles, and we.
Speaker 2 (01:50:52):
Can look daft. He's over there, pours over.
Speaker 5 (01:50:56):
There, bring them back, not a barbecue.
Speaker 2 (01:51:02):
Everyone's screaming, screaming j Field's name, So bringing back.
Speaker 5 (01:51:08):
We've struggled to find really good middles since Born left,
ever since.
Speaker 3 (01:51:15):
Yeah, big t your team, your your Tino's big fan. Titans.
They were very good. They have they turned a corner.
Speaker 2 (01:51:28):
I don't think the Titans that's our strong enough team
this year in the in the competition, I picked them
to come in the bottom bottom four. Sorry sorry Blaze,
but yeah I can't see the Titans getting over the
camera raiders in in in in camera they did would
(01:51:54):
but look at the sorry Jess, look at the games
this year, das out like we beat We beat Melbourne.
Melbourne smashed paramount of paramount to beat us. Tigers were
the same they got smashed by Melbourne. We beat Melbourne,
Tigers made us the games. If you're making I reckon.
Speaker 5 (01:52:13):
Can you see Cambell losing to in a row there?
No on the weekend, Ricky would be filthy.
Speaker 3 (01:52:22):
The way they collapsed that the Faders came back here
the tag. Yeah, and the final game of the round
will be in your neck of the woods on Sunday night,
Big t at Campbelltown.
Speaker 2 (01:52:35):
The Tigers and the Bunny Tigers and the Bunnies.
Speaker 3 (01:52:40):
Stafford Tower comes back while drops out and he's picked
up an injury for the Rabbit as they do welcome
back a prolific triscorper Alex Johnson, which they Fletcher minds
dropped back to the extended betch.
Speaker 2 (01:52:51):
They're another team with the young bats coming through. The Tigers,
the young bats coming through. It could be another year
or so for them. I think they'll be in and
around eighth, ninth, tenth, somewhere around there. The Tigers. But
the way Sauths played last week, La Troll Mitchell, he's
a he's a genius. I don't know what you thought
about his try. I know Rugby league doesn't doesn't have
(01:53:12):
a take the take the rule like at the NFL.
You take the name that the tackle n roll does
not have that rule. So he was score that trovy
day of the week. People are coming out saying some
people are coming out saying what a prick he was,
and he shouldn't be doing that. He shouldn't be fighting,
(01:53:32):
fighting to tackle the smarts mate. Nobody touched him?
Speaker 5 (01:53:39):
What they what?
Speaker 2 (01:53:40):
What they should have done is absolutely smashed the ship
out of him. Drop one of their big forwards on him.
Speaker 5 (01:53:46):
What you can't just let him sit there playing the ball.
I'd have to say that they would have been looking
at a what the hell is he doing.
Speaker 6 (01:53:56):
That?
Speaker 2 (01:53:58):
I don't know Broncos were doing. I said, no, there,
he's made the tackle, put his knee on the ground. No, no, no,
doesn't have taken a tackle.
Speaker 5 (01:54:08):
At seeing anything that tricky.
Speaker 2 (01:54:12):
Benji was sass. Wayne Bennett just got it over everybody.
What you have for SOUS this year? I reckon now
like Trell's back, brob.
Speaker 4 (01:54:27):
I'll say, may nothing South not only just the trails
are free and absolute freak, but resilience.
Speaker 2 (01:54:34):
They they're proving this year even against SUS.
Speaker 4 (01:54:38):
You remember we were ahead and they called themselves back
one player on the bench or something, and they still
beat us. So they're a different team away with Underwayne Bennett.
And big T's right. And even just the average player,
Wayne Bennett gets the best out of you know, it
gets to play better for him. It's like you're playing
you're playing for Wayne Betty as well as playing for
(01:54:59):
the team.
Speaker 2 (01:55:00):
You know what I mean. He's such a good coach man. Yeah,
incredible how he can get.
Speaker 6 (01:55:07):
A player up so many of la trails on the
media man, right, not talking on the media or anything
like that.
Speaker 4 (01:55:14):
Don't you look the way he hit it and he
turned around and he started walking back. It was like
you just go to the marbles, turn around, making side now.
But incredible.
Speaker 3 (01:55:25):
The biggest game of the round there will be the
Talclot game on Sunday. It's It could be the most
entertaining or it could be the most boring. The way
both teams are going at the moment, it could be
I'm just throwing it out there, but we'll start with you, Billy.
Can the Dragons get the job done in Brisbane on Sunday?
Speaker 5 (01:55:50):
Yep?
Speaker 8 (01:55:53):
Can't go with our confidence? Look wrongos have been pretty average.
That brad Bulldogs game. They went and had where they
went and put thirty in the first half. They haven't
really done anything so flashy like they've been pretty poor.
I think if we need, if we want to restart
(01:56:15):
and get back on the winning winning circle and try
and get ourselves into the fight for the top eight,
this is the game we have to win. It's a
winnable game. I know it's in Brisbane, but it's definitely winnable.
Like we just have to show up and.
Speaker 5 (01:56:33):
Look which dragons are going to turn out. That's the problem.
Speaker 8 (01:56:36):
Yeah, and we can't put all this pressure on Gotho
and liking King Toogia to do everything because that's just
simply not going to happen. It needs to be a
full take performance.
Speaker 5 (01:56:50):
Yea.
Speaker 2 (01:56:51):
Yeah, they've lost for it last live.
Speaker 5 (01:56:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:56:57):
If we win and I'm actually a good thing.
Speaker 2 (01:57:00):
Yeah, Oh you don't know, but we've we've won four
of our six at some court, so yeah, six games
we won.
Speaker 5 (01:57:14):
Dragons fans up there in Brisbane and don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:57:18):
Is referrering this game. Record under him is not very good.
Speaker 2 (01:57:23):
Don't worry about the rest.
Speaker 8 (01:57:26):
But I think we win by eight if we win.
Speaker 3 (01:57:30):
Who scores a try? Your try scorer?
Speaker 4 (01:57:35):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (01:57:37):
I reckon liking King Toga. It's his home, like that's
where he was raised. And he said how much he
loves playing. Then he showed that when Magic Ground happened.
So I reckon liking King Toggy. You try and Jaden
still want to get redemption on some Corp stadium.
Speaker 3 (01:57:56):
He'll actually hang onto the ball this time, I hope.
So all right over to year Rob.
Speaker 2 (01:58:05):
We win the game.
Speaker 4 (01:58:06):
Is Reynolds does the hamstring paying us to statistical then
Cobo raise your hand.
Speaker 3 (01:58:12):
No, no, yeah, sorry, Ben Hunt's not playing cher Rob,
you have devastated.
Speaker 4 (01:58:24):
Open but no, but very bear in mind. Obviously the
weaker they are, the better it is for us. So
but then Ezra Man, we don't know what we're gonna
get for him, but we've gotta beat him in the middle.
We've gotta beat him in the middle. We've gotta stop Reynolds.
Gotta put pressure this kick pressure business that we haven't
(01:58:44):
been doing in games of late, putting pressure on the kid.
Speaker 2 (01:58:47):
We've got it.
Speaker 4 (01:58:47):
You don't have to run into them or whatever. He
is gonna get pena wise, but more pressure. And I'm
worried about the winds for us as well too.
Speaker 3 (01:58:57):
Out White.
Speaker 4 (01:58:59):
But look, if we play well, we're playing for the
holiday minutes, is right? Can't be this inconsistent Dragons. I'm
tipping one point. I'm tipping a Val Holmes field goal.
Speaker 3 (01:59:13):
Two point or one.
Speaker 5 (01:59:14):
Point and another gold point game that apends. I might
top myself.
Speaker 2 (01:59:22):
Man, I take hard medication.
Speaker 4 (01:59:23):
I'm telling you that I'm having a pop appil during
the match and may I'm at one point. Vur Holmes
anytime try scorer as well too. I reckons another day
out and.
Speaker 3 (01:59:39):
You haven't had.
Speaker 4 (01:59:41):
I'm tipping twenty one twenty. I'm tipping Dragons twenty one
and Broco sweet.
Speaker 2 (01:59:47):
So there you go.
Speaker 6 (01:59:47):
So whatever that matter. Yeah, I'm just looking forward to
a Dragon's wing.
Speaker 4 (01:59:55):
And like Dass, I'm getting sick of these close games
and we're losing by by a point.
Speaker 5 (02:00:00):
We've got to win as wet to another golden point game.
I think my TV will go out the windows.
Speaker 2 (02:00:09):
All right or whatever. Not lose but one bloody because
that goes to winning.
Speaker 5 (02:00:14):
Well, we know we're going to lose. Problem the.
Speaker 3 (02:00:20):
Big te your turn.
Speaker 2 (02:00:22):
You back Dragons by fall, But Dragons by fall always
stay positive, always positive. That was probably positive is not
much other weeks. But Dragons by four, I'll tell you Egan,
Holmes and Steward are going to get trips Dragons by
four twenty four to twenty or something. Yeah, and if
(02:00:47):
Rob's question comes comes true, will be six chars to
four and then you'll kick a field goal.
Speaker 3 (02:00:56):
Okay, I'll have to go. I think I'm gonna go
with big to think. Dylan Egan will be in each tryscorer.
He knows how to score a try, the good old eagle.
The eagle will land at some corp. I think the
Dragons can get it done. If they can learn how
to game managed properly and then play smart. And if
(02:01:16):
they can build off what they did in the second
half and play like that for eighty minutes, I think
they can get the job done. I think it'll be
a very tight game. I'm going to go the Dragons
by two points and I'm going to go do it.
Dil An Eagan to be a triscorer at any stage
in the game. Now we'll hand over to our Broncos
antagonist Young.
Speaker 5 (02:01:37):
I hate the Bronco.
Speaker 3 (02:01:40):
You will love this moment. If we can get this
job done.
Speaker 5 (02:01:43):
Absolutely, if we can get it done, I'll go Dragons
by eight. Any time, score any time try scorer. Bel
Holmes Hamie Smith might get a meat.
Speaker 3 (02:01:57):
Pie Hemys stud.
Speaker 5 (02:02:01):
In Liddell Liddell two meters there from the line borrow
he should get one. We'll see if I'm right all.
Speaker 3 (02:02:14):
Right, Well, thanks for joining us for tonight. Just to reminder,
there will be no vodcast next week as we do
have a buy so there's no vodcast next week, so
we won't be here next Tuesday night. We'll be back
in two weeks against the Newcastle Knights, but Donnie will
be back in the host chair on Sunday to preview
(02:02:35):
the to review the game against the Broncos, hopefully on
the back of a win at sun Corpse Stadium. But
big t over to you for to finish off for us.
Speaker 2 (02:02:47):

Speaker 5 (02:03:18):
One.
Speaker 2 (02:03:19):
Them gonna stop painthousing, Patrick Gallaghan's anywhe We're gonna stop
them fold win the game. We've got to make more
yards in our assets. But anyway, come on, Dragons fans.
Speaker 5 (02:03:38):

Speaker 14 (02:03:44):
