Team was thank you rob Well. Normally this is where
we hand over to Big Teep all behind me lines,
but he cannot be with us tonight and are you
still recuperating? He's in hospital, he's had a little operation,
but he will be back for our behind Enemy Lines
special tomorrow night when we do welcome Melbourne Storm legend
Ryan Hoffman. So join us from tomorrow night for that

(04:02):
special behind Enemy Lines with Melbourne Storm legend Ryan Hoffman.
That should be a good one. So it is at
a new time, but should be great to have someone
like Ryan Hoffman on the vodcast, that's for sure. So
we'll go into the Melbourne Storm lineup anyway, So Billy,

(04:23):
can you take us through how the Melbourne Storm will
line up yep.

Speaker 7 (04:27):
So fullback obviously Ryan Pappenhausen. The wingers we're Warbrick and
Xavier Coats, and in the centers is Jack Howarth and
Green Anderson. The haves are Cameron Monster and Tyrone Wisher. Obviously,
Jerome Gus is out with that broken hand. The front
row is Stefano, Utukmanu and Josh King and Hooker. We've

(04:48):
got Harry Grant, Sean Blah and Alisi Katowa. In the
back row Trentloaero in the lock position, and on the
bench for the Melbourne Storm is Bronze Garlic, Alec McDonald
to become a commissa, Lazarus v Loopu and on the
reserves you've got Cam Bradley, Marion Survey, Keigan, Russell Smith,

(05:10):
Sure far Longo in angersichi and the coach is obviously
Craig Bellamy.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yep. It's a formidable looking side, even though they are
missing a few names like Nick Meney, Jerome Hughes. Nelson
is sober Solomona. They are at the top of the
table and it's going to be a tough old game
against the Melbourne Storm. In fact, they're pretty much our
Burgie side. We've historically, they're now the team we've struggled

(05:40):
the most against since nineteen ninety nine. So yeah, it's
going to be a tough old game. But we we
fought that last year. We went down to Melbourne and
took them and we've got the upset of the season.
It will be an upset of the season if we
can do that again this weekend. Now we'll go first
to you, youngie. Are you surprised Moses Sully has been named?

(06:03):
He come up with that rib injury in the second
half against Soups. There was potential there was talk that
he might miss this game. It wasn't OUs on the
radio over the weekend, but Planno has named him. Do
you think he'll play?

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Well, I don't think they've named the replacement center either,
have they on the extended in the change ben, So
I'm sumy he's going to But I I'm like you,
I'm surprised he was named. I thought sure him be out.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Yeah, Well, he actually has named Matt feene at eighteenth man,
so that could be well the man he does come
in if Suley is ruled out. But there was there
were shots of Sully at training today, so he might
whe he will be okay, think free pain yep. Now

(06:52):
we'll gore to you, Coco. What's been made about the
Christ planner banning Christ into a PILOTU? He's try show
me the money. He's in the site again this week.
If he scores a try, what what are you expecting
from him?

Speaker 8 (07:11):
I don't actually mind, you know, the try celebration, you know,
like I can't like you see everybody, you know, the
all different players have their own signature, and I don't mind.
Maybe if we're not like behind, maybe I don't know,
maybe trying to backflip. You know, you have the mundanees,
you have the black blocks, you have like you know,

(07:33):
g I and the trail too. I think he was angry.
I think he was just angry with the the way
it was last week. And I get it, you know what,
sometimes the coach needs to be the coach and to
have a say.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
You know.

Speaker 8 (07:49):
I was actually watching the other day and I thought
about our coach, what Madge was doing back in the
when he was playing the coach of the West Tigers.
And then he gave them a spray, And I think,
if you're going to spray, you sprayed the players, because yeah,
We've got Melbourne this week, and I don't know if
you guys are nervous, but I'm nervous. You know, we
all put talk about pantss. We're not in that calibi yet.

(08:11):
We are nowhere near that. We're still rebuilding, so we
shouldn't even be talking about Panthers. We're not panthers. We're dragons.
We're ones that are down the bottom. And every sucker
wants us to be wooden spooners because we're gonna, like
everyone say they hate them manly, but I believe our
haters hate us more. So I hope they prove us
wrong this we can and we win against Melbourne. Watch them,

(08:34):
they should be out doing their homework all week watching
that game against like Melbourne and Panthers, and see the
no diet attitude, because that's what we need because it's
gonna be a bit cracker of a game. Three pm
Cogra I cannot wait.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
I fancy the Channel nine news saying that we're playing
in Melbourne on Saturday. How do they get that wrong?

Speaker 8 (08:57):
But what won't become there?

Speaker 6 (09:00):
That's the lovel do you.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
I've actually been to a few Storm games down here.
It's a good ground good really level or hate the storm.
It's a good night out, a really great ground there.

Speaker 6 (09:14):
It's a good club.

Speaker 8 (09:16):
Except the cow bell. The cow bell annoyed the hell
where that is coming from? It's about.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
That's more of a cowboy thing, not a storm thing.

Speaker 8 (09:29):
But yeah, I think it's going to be a cracky game.
Look when if we start, and that's what that issues.
We start and we have game players because those you know,
the players are on at the storm and then it's
it's just so hard, you know.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
There's a lot of there's a lot of rain predicted
as well too for Sydney Love so we'll be a
real wet one.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Favor because believe it or not, it doesn't actually rain
too much down Yeah I'm in Melbourne. We haven't add
a lot of rain.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Wow for four seasons of one day.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Things are changing. We badly need some rain down here. Wow.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
All right, Billy. So lot's been spoken about Lochlanlius. Flanne
did take him aside after that game against against South
Sydney and then he'd later come out twenty four hours
later apologizing him to him, what do you think he
has to do to get keep his place? I mean
a lot of people have already been throwing the knives
out of him. What do you think of Lochlanlius? Does

(10:37):
he get it? What does he got to do to
get things right and close out and game managers? Because
we should have ICD that game against South so he
just didn't step up. He's got the ultimate test against
the arguably the best team in the COP.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
Well, like you said, game managing, he's got like you know,
he's going to put kicks down in the corner, put
them deep, you know, try and cause the storm to
just not make meters, like you've got to just close
them down as much as you can. Like what he's
been doing the last couple of weeks with the short kicks.
You know, it's going little like thirty meters and they're

(11:17):
catching it on the twenty and they're running back and
they're already on the forty by the second tackle. It's
just especially against the Dogs, like you know, many times
they got the ball back on the thirty and it's
just painful, you know. So he just needs to kick better,
defense strong, you know, just communication in the defensive line.

(11:37):
It's the simple things. It's the simple football errors that
he's been making. So once If you get those right,
you know, you can't ask.

Speaker 9 (11:45):
For much more.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
I think that's key too. Like we do taper off
in defense, we go to sleep and letting easy tries,
and that's that's where we beat ourselves.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
Yeah, people also.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
Think that not number one thing. It's been happening, and
I love few. I think he's an upgrade on hook.

Speaker 10 (12:06):
Inconsistency twenty four points to twelve ahead, twenty four points,
we should have closed the game out even I field
twenty four?

Speaker 6 (12:17):
Where's the field goal?

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yep?

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Come on, ye, I mean so inconsistency, this is our
this is how it was our downfall last year. And
you know we just I thought with Gufo and Cookie
and maybe less extent with that experience, that the consistency
would still you know, would kick in.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
We wouldn't be inconsistent but far.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Out man, Well, looks all right, it's not just an events.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
But like you said, inconsistency and defend the two tries there, Jesse,
two tries, crashovers.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
They were all they were all soft four.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Yep.

Speaker 7 (12:54):
We've even bombed a couple, which is a bit of unfortunate, But.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
That's just attitude that comes down.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
The attitude but laziness and defense. Mate, You're right, there's
a laziness and on the line they're defense. I mean,
Jee's you can't afford it. Against Melbourne, you can't afford it.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Yep. Another another one that's got to pull his socks
up the last the first two games in the Red
v Vale Holmes, youngie. He hasn't had a good day
off the boot and he's opening two games for the
Red Dragons.

Speaker 11 (13:28):
If we're.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Hm, if we got any chance of winning, I think
it's going to be a close one. He's turning four
in a six is going to be crucial if we're
a chance at an upset.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Well, he's usually a sharp shooter too, he doesn't miss,
So I don't know what's going on with he's kicking.
That game against South he was shocking. They scored five
tries to four and still off.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Do you remember Lomax a couple of years ago, he
was he was stabbing the ball when he went through
a period of deeps.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
There he adjusted.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
If you watch the games, he was adjusting for the
wind and snapping at the ball a bit.

Speaker 11 (14:10):
So I don't know.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
I think you'll come good. I mean, the real top
kickers usually come good.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
And hello to Big t. If you're watching Hospital, he's
in the ward. He's in the water on Hospital, Hello
Big t.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
If you're watching on the Heavy Medication enjoying Big Tet.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
He's on the he's in the ward with four other people.
So he's got to be quiet.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Too loud.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
That's going to be hard for Big Tea. Yeah, all right. Now,
Toby Couchman, now he's been named to start. Blake Laurie
did start ahead of him in that Rabbits game, Coco,
do you think he should get that spot back now
that I'm Blake Laurie's not in the seventeen? Would you
like to see Toby start the game this time against Melbourne?

Speaker 8 (15:03):
I think so. I would love to because you know,
this is where I praise Melbourne in this lot. I
do AP pays them because they use the young ones
and they build them up and even like Craig Bellamy
is a great sprayer, but he actually teaches them.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
You know.

Speaker 8 (15:18):
Look at Richard like he's down there and he's thriving
and stuff down there, and he will like not even
when when it was Origin, Like I've watched Storm over
my time, and even when it was Origin or when
the players is injured, they'll let the young guys come in.
And I think that's what the Dragon should do. Like
he's a local Toba couchman. I would love to see

(15:39):
him thrive and his development and become a good NRL player.
See how I'm excited for him. You know, Sorry, Laurie,
I'm really sorry that you're not in the team, but
let some let the young ones shine this time.

Speaker 9 (15:50):
Go Toby, I've got you.

Speaker 8 (15:52):
Hope you go well. Over to you, Jesse, What do
you think, Jesse? Do you you know he's a local
thrile boy. Do he's butcher? What do you think? How
do you feel? Would you like to see him thrive
in the n r L Because I'm a bit of future.
Yeah exactly, But I'm worry if we don't use our
future now. Yes, that's what I'm afraid of.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
You know, maybe Catchman is my new favorite Dragon.

Speaker 11 (16:19):
What what are you on?

Speaker 4 (16:20):
Big t If you're there.

Speaker 12 (16:25):
Or you're on, it's not saying anything there is definitely
hang on, I've got a text.

Speaker 6 (16:39):
Wait a second, I just got a text. He said,
war triple X ship.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Triple X or X.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
On the Piss and the and the Pan morphine and
what are you what are they give the.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Very good?

Speaker 4 (17:01):
All right, lot's been talking about who should start at nine?
Cook he's got the knot again this week, as expected
by Flano. But Jakes Little didn't have his best game
against Souths. I'll go to you, Billy, what what do
you think of how how Little should be used more?
This should he still looks still looks a little bit underdone.

(17:23):
He had that hand heavily strapped against South so didn't
look good in that game. But do you think he
should start? Maybe Cookie off the bench? What are your
thoughts on that one?

Speaker 5 (17:35):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (17:37):
Personally, I think Cook still needs to start obviously, like
you said, a little was a bit underdone. He did
miss two preseason games, so he didn't even get any
match fitness in before the actual start of the season.
Looked good in round one, but round two he threw
a couple of eras, you know, a couple of forward passes.
One that was crucial to the game. You know, got

(17:59):
the set off, the kick off from a try and
just throws the ball forward poorers. I think that he
just needs to come off the bench for now, but
he needs to get more than thirty minutes. I think
thirty minutes is a bit too little for him. He
needs at least forty kind of share the role with

(18:20):
Cook a bit, you know. I think if we can
have both of them on at the same time, just
creates a different sort of spark out of attack. You know,
they don't know who's going to run the ball, what's coming.
So I just think that shame Flanney's got to find
a way to get both of them in the squad
at the same time.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
Really little is too little for little.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Yeah, nice player words eh, non intended.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
David Klemmer. He comes in, hasn't played any preseason at all,
no match fitness, but flan has named him straight off
the bench. Rob, What do you think that clamor will
bring hasn't played any trials or it's pretty much it
will be his first game of footy for the year.
Are you surprised that he hasn't gone to start ahead

(19:16):
of like an MraY Gula or do you think he
needs to build up his match fitness first and look
looking to learn the Dragon system first.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
I think it's not even so much learning Dragon system.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
I think it's a little bit of match fitness and
this man's a big man, tall size, wrecking ball, you
know what I mean, mangrel.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
And he'll put in so he's.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
An impact player while we're just talking about little there
and Cookie. Certainly off the bench, he'll give us some
impact without a doubt. You know, Raime wasn't built on
the day, like you said, Es. He needs a few
k's under his legs, you know. And some time back

(20:01):
on the NRL, every player would be the same, man.
I mean, unless you're playing matches. It's very hard just
training and then coming back from injury and then they
put straight into the starting squad, you know what I mean,
and playing big minutes. But certainly he'll add some grunt mate,
without a doubt, love a liking he'll he'll give us

(20:22):
a little bit of impact to what he's doing.

Speaker 6 (20:24):
I know he's is he thirty one?

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (20:27):
Two? Yeah, So it's a bit so synonymous as Hook macing.
Hook stays with the older forwards. But but I think
you'll give us some some grunt.

Speaker 5 (20:38):
But you couldn't start him, I don't think at the moment,
I don't think he's he would have the case on
legs of the matter.

Speaker 6 (20:44):
Man.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, the one that's been spoken about all week the
debuty Dylan Egan. Well done, Dylan Egan. Good to so
you get your debut. Another product from that Jerrings to Coco.
Jerry seems to be a good breeding ground Dylan Egan.
What are your thoughts on him getting his animal debut
on Saturday?

Speaker 8 (21:08):
First off, Jesse, I don't really know Dalan Eagan, so
I'm gonna be honest, but good on him.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
I know.

Speaker 8 (21:14):
Yeah, there's lines you have got a few good, good
players coming through.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
There was like.

Speaker 8 (21:21):
Simms Brothers from Jerryingng weren't they they originated from during.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Amy Stewart.

Speaker 8 (21:28):
And Wishard wasn't with Tyrone with Tyrone. Yeah, that's a
good product down there. So that's very good to see.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
This man's favorite Jackson Fords from jerrying Gong as well,
Lockerage well.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
From Paramount.

Speaker 8 (21:52):
There's so many like players that like from when they
are from the grassroots. It's so good to see. And
good on Dylan Egan for getting a debut this week.
I hope it goes really well. And also and a
bit of tim you know, let the kid play. It's
his first game. You can't field roam in a day
and give him a chance to shine to all that.

(22:15):
The critics.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
He's the guy a break, he's got red air. You
can't miss him.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Tackling tackling machine too.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
He's a second roller.

Speaker 8 (22:28):
Oh very good. Oh he's got good shoulders. He'll be
good for that'll be good. Look at him, Look at him.
How old is he?

Speaker 4 (22:37):
He's twenty. Oh he's young.

Speaker 11 (22:42):
He's young.

Speaker 8 (22:42):
Good. We need some young meat, you know, and clem.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Well, everyone says that we're full of sloppy seconds. But
I mean they're bringing these young kids through. Its bringing
them sly.

Speaker 13 (22:55):
Yeah, no, we just to come.

Speaker 8 (22:58):
Yeah, they they you know, not slowly. They like if
they say that, you know, just go all right. Then
to see his video was like lovely, you know, it's
good to see.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
Like how good was that?

Speaker 5 (23:11):
Yeah, the Couseling Boys came through, you know what I mean,
we had all these Thomas down.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
It's too soon.

Speaker 14 (23:18):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
We got to play bloody first grade to get first
grade experiences. Look, I reached the couchul boys better than
some of your older Fords.

Speaker 8 (23:28):
Well like ten fifteen years ago. You know, there was
he's a young Look look at the Benji Marshalls and
the Robbie Barreys and the sunny Bill Williams and you
know the you know like the Jis and the Billy Sladers.
You know, they were young when they started and look
at him now that they've got their career, they got
to build. You know, that's okay, it's all good, you

(23:51):
can say. I'm just explaining, like you know, everybody was
who used to play footy back in their day, especially
whoever played footy on the pad, all no to understand
the grassroots to become an NROL player, there's stages. And
I congratulate Dylan Egan and I am going to back
him one hundred and ten percent this weekend. I hope
he does. And it's okay, this is a less These

(24:15):
a lessons when you can become an n ROL player.
And especially the hardest is the storm. You know, they've
got speedsters. You know, they have your coach, they've got Puppenhousen,
they've got all these great you know. So yeah, Harry Grant,
you know it's going to be a crazy but good
on him. I hope he goes well.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
You know, just on sunny Bill Williams, I saw his
first ever trial game against the Dragons, that Carrara up
the Queen, that was in two thousand and four, and
it's probably one of the best debutes I've ever witnessed.
I had never seen a second role play like that ever.

(24:56):
I think he went I went straight home, looked at
the stats and I I think it was like three
hundred and thirty meters for the night line breaks, tries, tries, assist.
It was a phenomenal game and he played all year
after that.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
I see nother one days I went to school there
You're ready, Hous' seventeen year unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
Player, incredible, absolutely, we're talking about Matt Cooper and Matt
Cooper's on the show the other night. Coop said, that's
an isle of y et incredible, long hair, just was fast,
would tackle.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Incredible, his body on the line.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Unbelievably to go to school, you know, in the same
years and watch him play on the school level.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
But it was so fast that they just they couldn't
get him.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
He was just so quick, incredible, dynamic player.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
It was breaking things up a little bit. Yeah, I
know Rob's a big fan of this video, so it'd
be interesting to see what I'm out. Captain Donnie's got
in store this Saturday when we play the Storm this
was the last time we played the storm, and this
is what what happened.

Speaker 6 (26:10):
Then he's involved, man, Donnie.

Speaker 15 (26:13):
Yeah, we'll get a dragons fans. It's game day. And
there are many things in this life that are hard.
Walking up the mountain, that's hard, David boy.

Speaker 13 (26:48):
Or for fire up.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
I can't do this.

Speaker 13 (26:56):
Oh hm hm hm god ha hm hm hm hm
hm hm hm.

Speaker 16 (27:15):
Rather than marathon.

Speaker 13 (27:19):
That that time. Oh who do you want to run
this fall?

Speaker 8 (27:32):
Conserve fall?

Speaker 6 (27:33):
You only got three days of your answer done?

Speaker 14 (27:38):
Oh wow, h m hm hm hm.

Speaker 6 (28:13):
Oh doing backflips is hard.

Speaker 13 (28:21):
Okah, given bush, now.

Speaker 6 (28:36):
That jury, what the ninety s?

Speaker 4 (28:46):
That's you're gonna top that?

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Its real.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
A mental image, that smile.

Speaker 16 (29:05):
Going down to Melbourne and playing the Melbourne Storm.

Speaker 13 (29:11):
Piece of piece.

Speaker 16 (29:13):
We got this, Dragons fans. We can do it, Camel
Dragons fans.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
Anyway, that was that. So, yeah, good time. So I
don't know how Donnie tops that one.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Donnie giving birth. We're we're going to hear the end
of that.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
Donny, can you top that?

Speaker 6 (29:43):
His neighbors called Triple A as well too.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
All right, we'll continue on.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Now.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
Raymond the Taylermaron has been the casualty for Dylan Egan
being dropped. Sorry, if Dylan Eggan debuting, Sorry, what's your
take on this? Young Raymond for time? It hasn't got
a lot of minutes in his first two addings. Are
you surprised to see Flano wheel the ax on him?

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Now? I think it moreas was more about Dylan Egan
getting his first start. He's been good in the lower
grades and he's been warming up to this start for
a while. It was it was going to happen sooner
or later. So I think it's more about him getting
his first start rather than r f M getting dropped. Dips.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Yeah, all right again, we'll get we'll continue and we'll
get we'll get the viewers more involved. Now and we'll
get We'll get the viewers involved. Get your thinking caps on.
It's time for this.

Speaker 17 (30:59):
Hm.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
We've got it's more of a clip, So hang on
one moment. Keep keep the chat going, guys, while I
come up with what we're gonna do. I've got a clip,
so just keep the chat going. And yeah, keep the
flow going and I'll get this ready, So chat anything dragons,
go right ahead.

Speaker 7 (31:55):
Guys, Hello Tolly, how are you man? Good to say?
The chat is pumping.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
So what does everybody think about this weekend? Confidence?

Speaker 7 (32:14):
You can't that tries, you can't ship it now.

Speaker 8 (32:18):
Yeah, we've just come off and buy so we should
be fresh legs and we should be good, you know.
And I hope they've done their homework. Like I said,
watch the game. If they didn't watch Friday night, no wait,
Thursday night game against the Grand Final rematch and to
see the dual die attitude of Panthers. That's what we
need to not give up then, but we would have

(32:40):
to maintain the lead, you know, That's what And like
you said, Das before soft tries, we've got to hopefully
Clemma can you know I'm excited about Clemma actually, like
you know, watching him play for the Dogs and then
he played for Tigers. Not really much about Tige but
the Dogs more. We need that Mongrel back in the team,
you know, Like, what is it? We're in twenty five

(33:02):
so ten years, no, twenty ten. Remember when we had
like the Wayman's Ben, Craig, Dean Young that never cost
again and Jeremy.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
So that's a good that's a good point, Coko. It
was all about defense back then. We put the defense
for anything, and we got to start getting back to that. Yeah,
because if your defense is right, then your attack comes later.
And I don't think the attack the problem. The defense
is a big problem.

Speaker 8 (33:27):
Yeah, because they got through like the rabbit O did
through because I was at the game, but that's how
they got through because it was just those soft try
They just there was an hole and they found it
and it's like there was no oomp in their tackling.
And I believe that's the issue, the whole mentality.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
And we're also going to be careful. Coco Coats is
very good under the high ball, like through. Yeah, tall
bloody timber, Yeah, get.

Speaker 6 (33:55):
Up there and get the ball. So I don't know
whose Coats up against? Does anybody know? On the week
his opposite.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Kids players on the right, doesn't he?

Speaker 9 (34:04):
So yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:07):
Sloan, So Sloane's gonna have to get up there.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Yeah, all right, we're ready for our questions. So it's
a video clip, so watch what happens. It's been and
there who scored the next Dragons try in this game

(34:33):
in two thousand and nine.

Speaker 18 (34:35):
And it was play one, so really lucky there the Dragons.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
So just watched the clip just for a few minutes.

Speaker 17 (34:45):
Who's the man brace, who's the man for the Dragons?
Look so, I mean see how it was kicking. Game
has been fantastic, I think. And Matt Cooper obviously let
me give him some more.

Speaker 18 (34:59):
Bor hasn't seen it at all?

Speaker 4 (35:02):
His name?

Speaker 18 (35:02):
Have we dynamic fire?

Speaker 4 (35:05):
I've been looking at him. Do any worry?

Speaker 18 (35:08):
I'm on Cooper camp. Aren't we aware he's getting young.

Speaker 19 (35:11):
Sideline now the Nighting Guy and the Dragons.

Speaker 20 (35:14):
This is nice something bubbling here as we have in
the last ten minutes of this game.

Speaker 19 (35:20):
Steed Away and the Dragons. There's opportunities seem to be
off high kicks and.

Speaker 20 (35:29):
We're going there again, sow it, Yes we are. It's
aimed towards Quinn's wig all sign that.

Speaker 19 (35:36):
Comes forward, Fancers back for the Dragons.

Speaker 18 (35:40):
Smith goes to ground. It's a zero tackle, tell it.

Speaker 16 (35:46):
Break from a.

Speaker 17 (35:47):
Red Vey again has been robody from the Dragons. You
know what's coming. But they're just setting up for that
big kick. And but they are traveling their back to
the story of the Melbourne Storm, giving themselves continuous opportunities,
but they need take them.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
There's your cow bell, Coco in front of the post,
still going back in those days.

Speaker 19 (36:06):
It comes across field here, but look at that defense
and Cam Smith Hornby wrapped up.

Speaker 18 (36:15):
Hunt out a sour so biting Stanley for Silah, silah.
Only later around.

Speaker 20 (36:25):
Wild if I could hit the man on the chest
and young Hunt goes to ground and again it comes
down to the loss. There's Young the hornby the ball right,
it's close.

Speaker 16 (36:47):
The dragon away.

Speaker 20 (36:50):
It's finally that attack the lift and they're almost rewarded.

Speaker 21 (36:54):
Well bres anticipate is it a doubt yet? It was
just two ten thing for for Maddie Cooper there.

Speaker 18 (37:02):
But they looked a lot better there.

Speaker 17 (37:04):
Well they did, fletch because Darius Boys he strengthened his
right to left pass and you could see there he
came into the place right here inside to the left.
He got the ball into this man's I don't have
like they have had the last few years. So he
becomes their strike cinemat Cooper and he needs to see
the ball.

Speaker 6 (37:21):
We're going to score.

Speaker 18 (37:23):
And you can't blame Cooper for going the last tackle.
So it's so ran the Dragons blame Cooper.

Speaker 8 (37:39):
The second attempt, Yeah, goes.

Speaker 18 (37:46):
Seven and a half ago, six points clear.

Speaker 6 (37:51):
No, he calls the bills.

Speaker 22 (37:53):
Terrific game, your warm, nice probing. Who's doing just looking
at one here krown the stab kick looking for the corner.
You'll do well the cake not even Cooper.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
This is two thousand and nine year round one, just around.

Speaker 18 (38:18):
The Dragons.

Speaker 8 (38:22):
A black from the parking.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
Wow, the good old day right.

Speaker 6 (38:30):
Game of the three years old?

Speaker 23 (38:37):
It was yeah the horn be So I was a
I was a jermyn game before they.

Speaker 18 (38:46):
Was bouncing out of the old Olympics.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
I haven't been into that grand.

Speaker 19 (38:51):
But beyond the forty almost of the thirty Yeah that
was years ago.

Speaker 18 (38:57):
But Melbourne just eating this up. Yeah, wait a minute again,
straight down.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
The just coming back to Germany Smith. I was a
Germany Smith fan even before he came to the Dragons.
And then when we got here, say steaked, well done
my night and goal.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
So the boy all that we'll put people out of
this said a bit of this. Now we'll see who
scored the winning trial, who scored the try to send
us to go on points.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Big girl.

Speaker 6 (39:30):
Hey Billy, I was forty when that game is on mate.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
W Yeah.

Speaker 7 (39:43):
Wait, I think my dad might have been Yeah, my
dad would have been the same age. Yeah, so's twenty.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Huge this Smith and here we go. Let's say here's
calls the winning tron. I still do it.

Speaker 6 (40:10):
Always look at you.

Speaker 22 (40:17):
A lot, slide up, bladdy car, dragons.

Speaker 8 (40:27):
You a minute?

Speaker 18 (40:31):
And so what has.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
Play that?

Speaker 4 (40:38):
He's got it again, frank.

Speaker 21 (40:39):
Wick silos getting the ball of the rock.

Speaker 15 (40:46):
On you.

Speaker 21 (40:47):
He's got the good rod Fender gets rid of and
if he goes the pace like you used to, it's enough.
And the boys just backing up is a good sound.

Speaker 17 (41:02):
I got Jamie sowardn't he well? That that's class from Wendell,
I mean Wendells. He's had a tough night. He's had
some really good plays and he's had some ordinary ones.
But game on the line, not one player in that
side has been able to create anything close to a
Tryas watches in the background, Sailor skips from one side

(41:23):
of the field to the other and finds the man
that we said.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
Matt Coop wouldn't want anyone else ball and this is
a big.

Speaker 18 (41:30):
Kick seventy three percent.

Speaker 20 (41:36):
It's not a bad percentage, but this is the non
preferred side for the left foot.

Speaker 3 (41:45):
We have to have Jamie Soward in his prime right now.

Speaker 20 (41:52):
Hands sorry, And the first game of the year looks
like going extra minutes.

Speaker 18 (42:02):
We sailor Wendsat's got the big left foot step. I
think Melbourne were waiting for the left foot step.

Speaker 21 (42:07):
They kept going across the field and just his brute
strength and did well there to put Cooper in tack.

Speaker 18 (42:12):
Jesus, George win this game. George Lay win this game.

Speaker 21 (42:16):
I would not want to be in the dressing room
with Craig Bellamy comes back down from the.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
Anyway. That was Maddie Cooper, what a game that was.
But you we did end up losing that game though
by point Cooper Krock kicking the Actually I think it
was grigging Nless to kick the field goal and winning
the game. They won seventeen sixteen.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
Disappoorning fromised so much.

Speaker 4 (42:42):
But yeah, well we know how that year went as well.
So our first game underway and bent it back in
two thousand and nine wasn't a bad start. Actually, now,
yes that was. Now we'll talk a little bit about
the Storm and as I said, we will have Ryan
Hoffman now Melbourne Storm legend right often will have behind
enemy lines tomorrow night at a special time from eight fifty.

(43:06):
So if you can join us, then that would be
great special time tomorrow night a fifty with Melbourne Storm
legend Ryan Hoffman talk to him about what he thinks
of the Melbourne Storm a little bit career. Yeah, if
you can, you can join us tomorrow night. Do come along.
It should be a good chat with who played at
the highest level, won several Premierships with the Melbourne Storm,

(43:28):
played for his state and country. So yeah, it should
be a good chat and one of the best to
ever pull on the Melbourne Storm jump up.

Speaker 11 (43:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
So now there's beens of changes to the Melbourne Storm.
They've had Jerome Hughes, he's been ruled that with that
broken hand. But from what I saw from Craig Bellamy,
he did not look impressed after that, even though they
did beat Penriff. Penriff is not a team you want
to get complacent against because Pendrick nearly stole that game

(44:02):
from them. So he's a bit for what Craig Bellamy said,
and if we're not careful.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
Bad news for us.

Speaker 18 (44:13):
Mhm h.

Speaker 4 (44:23):
Keep the chat going, guys.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
Yeah, well, I mean the press conference with Bellamy, he
said that I can place into two periods of the
game when especially when Cleary obviously got injured, so he
said it was unaccessible and the players knew they were
in Some players interviewed and they said they had to
be much better for the next game they're playing, which

(44:50):
is against us.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
So yeah, thing about the storm too, like they can
just hang in there and then when the opportunity comes
they take it.

Speaker 4 (44:59):
So it's so easy to crowd supporters of having a crack.

Speaker 5 (45:05):
What are you really gambling with, Craig, You got the win,
but were you happy with that before teams and.

Speaker 11 (45:15):
The options.

Speaker 4 (45:15):
You don't think that specifically, but you know, just in
the back of their that sort of comes in and.

Speaker 3 (45:22):
Then you know, when they got a bit of momentum.

Speaker 4 (45:24):
It was it was hard for us to stop it.

Speaker 24 (45:28):
Take from that, Harry like, was it a bit unsettling
when you kind of look up and you just got
a couple of rookie halves, you know in the Penrith line.

Speaker 14 (45:35):
Did it unsettle you guys?

Speaker 18 (45:38):
Or Yeah?

Speaker 24 (45:39):
I guess you could say that's maybe where a little
bit of the complacency came from. But I think they
did a good job where they got themselves back in
the game, and you know, we had a few moments
we would have liked back and that just sort of
swung momentum. And then there's such a quality team, not

(45:59):
just thirteen, but a quality squad and quality organization that
you know they know how to keep a hold of
that and that's what they did there. So yeah, like
it was a bit of a scrappy game and both
teams had some some injuries and players moving around, but
you know, you just got to chalk up wins at

(46:19):
this time of the season, and there's plenty of work on.

Speaker 11 (46:22):
Which is good.

Speaker 9 (46:23):
That gives us plenty of purpose going forwards.

Speaker 6 (46:26):
But you've got the two book points in the pocket and.

Speaker 4 (46:31):
Yep, so that's Harry Grant and Craig Billony last Thursday.
After that win over Penriff Billy, do you take any
joy of that? Melbourne got complacence? Do you expect a
response from the Melbourne Stomp camp knowing that if Bellamy
is unhappy, you wouldn't want to be in that dressing room.

Speaker 7 (46:52):
Oh for sure, Mike do every week. If he says it,
he'll let him know. They'll turn up every week the
way they do there, the Melbourne Storm. They're one of
the best best running and rold clubs over the last
twenty years, So you know, I don't expect them to
come in and take it easy on us, especially after

(47:13):
last year, well last week with the complacent performance, So
they're going to really come in and try and belt
the crap out of us. We just got to match
that physicality.

Speaker 4 (47:26):
Yep, ye, yep. Like you mentioned Rob, like the complacency,
Like Penriff are a team that just don't give up.
We're not in the same league as Penriff, but do
you think that we can take any joy out of
that that we can look to where Melbourne did get complacent,
where we can have some joy against.

Speaker 6 (47:47):
Them are But I think I got on the head.
We have to absolutely up for it. We have to
play for the whole eady minutes and really play the
best of our ability. And you know, and remember that
we did beat him down in Melbourne.

Speaker 5 (48:03):
So take that as a as a positive. But everything
has to be on song. My greatest fear is finishing
out the game, closing it out. I think said we
have to be in the league, and yeah, that's where
I'm concerned. And what Dave says, the defensive lapses, I

(48:25):
mean two tries last week were just crash out of us.
You could have was almost like touch or ball. So
if we are like that defensively against Melbourne, we're going
to get done for more points and there's just no way,
even though we can score tras, I just think they'll
be way too good for us.

Speaker 6 (48:43):
So we have to be absolutely up for it, you know,
the whole eighty minutes.

Speaker 5 (48:50):
And that's the only way I can see otherwise we
have inconsistencies that we've had.

Speaker 6 (48:57):
They're just too good.

Speaker 5 (48:58):
They're stronger but the top two teams, so we just
won't be good enough.

Speaker 6 (49:04):
Mate, you've got the call that you've got.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
So.

Speaker 6 (49:09):
What can you do?

Speaker 4 (49:10):
Who? Young? Who do you think we have to shut down?
For Melbourne? Who do you think their key player is?
We're going to beat him?

Speaker 3 (49:21):
We need we need to be eyes up on him
because they're gonna they're gonna try and stretch us and
explore us with So we can shut him down and
be switched on in defense. We can go a long
way to winning it that way. Defense is definitely going
to be the key.

Speaker 5 (49:42):
I think Monster as well too. Monsters the fittest has
ever been this year. Billing was saying it as well too.
So he's a freak of a player.

Speaker 3 (49:51):
As well.

Speaker 6 (49:51):
So if he plays a top game, he can do
anything of a football Patty.

Speaker 4 (49:55):
He had the ball on a string last week.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
Yeah, it's nice to see it start. We we always
start from behind. I'd like to see him start fast,
like come out of the gates early and fast. That's
how i'd like to see. You got to score first, Yeah,
for sure.

Speaker 4 (50:17):
Anyway, we don't. In honor of the big Man. Big
T is not on tonight, but he's still too. Who
is credit? He's still prepared a clip and his usual segment,
a walk down memory Lane, And here's what he sent
through for us.

Speaker 14 (50:33):
Oh okay, where is.

Speaker 13 (50:50):
Trying to get on?

Speaker 4 (50:54):
That's not it, that's not it. Hang on taking its
having some technical difficulties up in a moment.

Speaker 6 (51:03):
Let's keep talking.

Speaker 8 (51:05):
Yeah, does anyone watched this Craig Bellamy thing on stand because, yeah,
the documentary it's pretty good.

Speaker 6 (51:15):
Actually, yeah, but I saw clips that I was really impressed.

Speaker 8 (51:22):
Yeah, like I was. I'm watching it now as we speak,
as we speak, but it's not mute and it's on subtitles.
But the way he goes it's really good.

Speaker 6 (51:30):
You know, he's a really really good coach.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
Coach. Yeah, everything I mean what a great I don't
think it's just about Bellamy. They've got good everything down there. Yeah,
but he's got good support staff round him. Everybody role Frank, good,
good manager.

Speaker 4 (51:52):
He's a good man to have in your club. Like
you said, you want a recruitment guy. He he he
him and Bellamy. I've been doing it for twenty years
or more.

Speaker 6 (52:01):
Brom Yeah, absolutely awesome. But Bellamie also has that ability
like Bennett. You can turn the average player into a
strong player as well too.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
Yeah, give him anyone, give him absolutely anybody. It brings
him into an organ play.

Speaker 6 (52:15):
Yeah, they cut players, you know, star.

Speaker 4 (52:20):
So all right, let's have a look at Big T's
walk down Memory Lane for this week Round four edition,
the Melbourne Storm.

Speaker 25 (52:26):
Well the Dragons fans on Big ten, do you come
with me for a walk down memory Lane?

Speaker 11 (52:34):
What do you buy?

Speaker 25 (52:35):
Isn't like nature for everybody? They make small back soaps
and candles. They're very nice. You want more one for
you significant other?

Speaker 11 (52:45):
Check them out of Facebook.

Speaker 25 (52:49):
Here we are Sunday to the fourth of June, two
thousand Dragons versus storm around the home of the Steelers,
only to tell you two years ago at the wind stadium,
Proud ten thousand and one than forty one. Referee Paull Symples. Yes,
and this is the same year that they did that
to us. We played forty two games against the Storm

(53:11):
one twenty nine scored one thousand and ten points. We're
only won twelve scored seven and seven or six points.
There's been one drawback in two thousand and two, which
was a thirty all drawer.

Speaker 11 (53:23):
Just run through the sides.

Speaker 25 (53:25):
We've got Amos Roberts, Alee Murphy, Lee Hooky, Joseph Hooper
and Nathan Black back five, Treed, Barrett Luke, Bradighan, Aaron Harves,
Chris like Bowl, Nathan Brown, Craig Smith, Terry Lamey. That's
supposed to say Hart, and Wayne Bart and Rocks Strong.

Speaker 4 (53:46):
Big T's got Nathan Brown as captain coach.

Speaker 11 (53:49):
It says Nathan Brown. There was a coach.

Speaker 25 (53:52):
Wait, so it's Gerald Cooper pattern and water on the
bench Storm coach by Chris Anderson, Matt Guy Afterrad watched
Aaron mule Tammy Martin Marcus buy other back five Cess
Elevator and Michael Carmichael under the house.

Speaker 11 (54:09):
Michael Carmichael, what would you name you some Michael if
you last names.

Speaker 25 (54:12):
Came Richard Traine and Ben Roady out of their front row,
pull my cat, Russell Bowden and Matt Ruher of the scrubb.
I remember this game Finton and Glen Turner on the bench.
I couldn't find anything about this game online. I've got

(54:34):
all my information of RUGG League project, but yeah, they
couldn't find any match record, any highlight package, nothing about
this game. But I did find out that Trent Barrett
scad two try, as did Lee Hooky and King of Blacklock.

Speaker 11 (54:50):
Oh yeah, he would have done a couple of black
backflips in that.

Speaker 25 (54:54):
Wille Murphy scored a try, Amos Roberts scored a try,
Jason Hooper scored a try.

Speaker 11 (55:01):
Terry Laney We built him, yeah, big fell.

Speaker 25 (55:04):
I played for the illawar and also played for US
and George Ward Greg went back to kicked three from
seven back?

Speaker 11 (55:09):
What two from two?

Speaker 25 (55:11):
Wes Patton none for one? Just gone back on young
Wes's Patton. He played from ninety three to to two
thousand in the NRL. A little lad, who was he?

Speaker 11 (55:26):
A little lad?

Speaker 25 (55:28):
I mean sixty seven k sixty five as tall mum
hm well on well under six foot so yeah, and
compared that to big Nelson. Now he's teammates tall, tipping
the scars at one hundred and twenty kilos. I don't
know how young Words tackled those people, but the big
boys back when he played too on Where's On? Where's Pattern?

(55:50):
He went on after Roby League, he went on into
say for a while, ham Away, a few few episodes
of heart Land, All Saints and Red. Now uh Rugby League.
They've got TV Rugby League Sideline. I had a panel
on a n I TV over the Black Dot with
big Georgian roads.

Speaker 11 (56:11):
I'm going to do. Oh Melbourne did score a try
through Tony Martin.

Speaker 25 (56:17):
Yeah, it's Dragons full time Storm for that was our
biggest win over the over the Storm.

Speaker 11 (56:22):
The same year our biggest loss came against them.

Speaker 25 (56:25):
And I'm gon to do a good deband and the
ugly West pattern was making good good part.

Speaker 11 (56:30):
This is a bad part.

Speaker 25 (56:32):
Two days before getting William was sent off for grew
like we ran over fifteen meters.

Speaker 11 (56:38):
To coward punch. Marc Mike came here.

Speaker 25 (56:41):
Marc O'Neill's legal team was saying that Mark O'Neill had
amnesia memory loss. We live to see David were suspension.
Shortly after that he left Australia.

Speaker 11 (56:51):
And went to the UK.

Speaker 25 (56:54):
But the ugly part of this blake does he ever learn?
In twenty twenty he was judging with the side after
the last the woman and need to buy hotel? Right,
look at those eyes, it's serious killer eyes.

Speaker 11 (57:05):
Look them there. It was Dragon's fifty stone for.

Speaker 25 (57:12):
Yeah, I guess, as I said, the biggest win over
the storm in the twenty six years that we've been
playing in the NROL. Thanks for joining me. For behind
any lines and I walked them anyd I didn't do
behind any lines, but walked down in the lane. Wat
to you by some like actually for your having body
that makes small backs, gangles soaks.

Speaker 11 (57:32):
I really really smell nice. Check them out on Facebook.
I know you can't smell them on Facebook. We'll take
my word for it.

Speaker 25 (57:39):
There is of history, but there's much much more to
be made. This has been a big TA presentation brought
to you by the Man Dragon vodcast. In a Little Dragon,
they keep the dragon.

Speaker 11 (57:52):
And that's a little big t.

Speaker 25 (57:53):
If you want to see your face there, send me
a picture of you as a young bloat or a
young girl um, if.

Speaker 11 (58:00):
Your rugby league year on and tell me who you
played for. Remember, well, remember you instead of remember a
little big tea every time. Thanks for doing me. I
love you all Dragons for life.

Speaker 4 (58:17):
Yep, and that was a memorable game, as you were saying,
does our biggest.

Speaker 3 (58:22):
Yeah, well I remember sitting with I was up in
Brisbane at that stage, and that was the year that
I first come down to Melbourne and I watched that
game where we were beating seventy it It was the
most embarrassing game I have ever had to sit through.
I was just copping heaps on my mates. It was

(58:44):
an embarrassing performance. So there had to be I mean,
if you were a Dragon supporter and you you watched
that came back, then you desperately wanted to beat the
Storm next time, and so there had to be a response.
So we came out and eld of them that game
and Jeane it was good to see remembering. I think

(59:05):
from memory Amos Roberts ran right that game in a
really good game. That's all I can remember.

Speaker 4 (59:12):
Well, the most embarrassing game I've seen us play was
the ends Up game last year. That's the most point
I've ever seen when there is put sixty on us.
I was I was still a kid when the Storm
put seventy of us, so I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (59:27):
It too well. But that more remember that game too
because we were all embarrassed. So we want a response
this year. An NXACT day for sure.

Speaker 4 (59:39):
Yeah, but yeah, we'll get into that in a little bit.
That's in a much later episode in a few weeks
or so. But we'll get into another segment where we
hand over to Coco for this.

Speaker 8 (59:55):
It's the dragon spread row is not this blotto.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
It's time to look at the one on one battles
that will decide the dame.

Speaker 11 (01:00:13):
Will it be the chief position words, will the fight be.

Speaker 8 (01:00:16):
What out wide?

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
Or will it be one up front? Strap yourself in
for a Crocker classic?

Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
Oh yours kkh okay.

Speaker 8 (01:00:48):
So I've been I only had a couple of hours
to look at the team. But I'm actually not going
to do who I think is going to like the classes.
I'm going to go with the players because we've got
the Storm the number one like at the moment on
the ladder and we're down the bottom, so I think
the players to look out for the Poppenhausen, the camera Munster,

(01:01:13):
the Harry Grant.

Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
I think who was it?

Speaker 8 (01:01:19):
It was going to be Oh well, I think the Yeah,
I think it's going to be the one, the sixth
and the seven. That's going to be also Xavier Coach.
He's got the speed as well. You just can't.

Speaker 12 (01:01:30):
You can't.

Speaker 8 (01:01:31):
With Melbourne. It's every player because they've got every effort,
the discipline. You just can't knock all of them. And
even if it's Joe Blow down the street, it's still Melbourne.
Who have those players that are on show for us?
I want I'm putting on notice? Is godlesson you know
when I'm just going to point you out mate, you're

(01:01:53):
the captain. When I was at the game last week
when we played the rabbit O's New South Wales Cup,
Herdie Ramsey was in your position in New South Past
Cup and I heard him screaming from his position to
all those players. You missed not here one word? Can
hear you scream? You gotta scream at the players. Get

(01:02:13):
them in the line, okay, our homes, you're kicking skills,
get on point. They have Melbourne haves AFL. They've probably
been practicing with every other Melbourne AFL people. So do
grab a kick, do low kicks, don't do high kicks, okay,
and also mister Ilias, mister flaming again, work together. Make

(01:02:35):
sure that you guys are because you've got Karra Munster
and Tryrone Richard now there too, Camera Munster. He's a
bit of a cheeky boy too, and he's a little
bit he can get on your skin, so he's going
to be a little grubby too. And when things don't
go their way, watch out, chicken. We watch out for
the resting moves, you know. And they invented it and
then they get shitty at us or any other player

(01:02:55):
when they do it to them. Then you did it, Melbourne.
Shove it up, GiB bum. Sorry, I don't like Melbourne.
They get away with shit. Next Smith, next one right
forwards back, you know, defend the line. You know we've
got they've got good speedsters. And there's no Nelson because
he's got concussions. That's a good one. No one will

(01:03:17):
break the jaw this week. That's a good one, you know.
So we've got to make sure that we are not
no soft holes. Number nine, little slash Cook. You know,
you two got to work together, work the team around
all right, So this is what we got to do
because you know, Melbourne and Craig Vellamie are a very
strong team. Now, if we're leading, great, If we're not leading,

(01:03:42):
we've got to pull that finger out because they're just
gonna we're not gonna be at the Eels game one,
whether it's gonna be like forty five to six or
forty five meal. We've got to make sure it's like
you know six, keep the school. Okay, We've got to
make sure defend the line. Defend because if we don't
defend the line, they're gonna run ragged over us at Cobra.

(01:04:03):
And you know, we've got to make sure that we
are team communication because that is what Melbourne is. And
now I know I'm muffling on, but I know Melbourne
and I'm watching this documentary and it's really good. So
we've got to watch out, watch out for this for
monster Harry Grahant, for Tyrone, Tyrone Wishard for Poppenhousen Coats.

(01:04:27):
Coats are very good highball specialists as well, and kicks
as well.

Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
Could you sum their coco apparently.

Speaker 8 (01:04:41):
Okay, yes, I know this is what I do good
at Okay, Yes, you know and you know what, sprayer
mister Bellamy will be spraying through the through the block
going kick advantage. But no, we've got to do it. Okay,
stay focused, Dragons, stay focus over to you, Jesse where

(01:05:02):
you might be hiding under the table because I've said
too much. Over it out.

Speaker 4 (01:05:09):
All right, Well thank you for that, Coco. So what
what's your most important matchup do you think of the game?

Speaker 8 (01:05:15):
I think it's learning in a monster Gutherston and Happen
housing and it has to be.

Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
Coats and.

Speaker 8 (01:05:24):
Christ can't say kip a lot for that one. I think, yeah,
that one I missed the showing the money. It's just
the way the game plan. I know Munster will have
his game plan on with the kicks. Coach is the
speed and say right because Ryan perfen Housen can He's

(01:05:46):
very good at the line breaks, with the with the
capturable and the running the way he just runs straight
and he knows he can find the whole the weakness
in the team, same as Munster. Harry Grant he can
play with mind a bit. He's a bit of a
mind master where he can like also powerplay line structure.

(01:06:07):
But it's all yeah. But and also Ilias at vers Richard.
That's who I think. So it's going to be lots
of different positions that will make the whole game. So
that's what I think.

Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Is he marking up on Coats or is he.

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
He's got they both got the both of them.

Speaker 8 (01:06:36):
Yeah, well on roll on as he's doing, he's doing
Xavier Coats. So that's what I was looking at.

Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
The Coats plays. Coats plays left wing.

Speaker 6 (01:06:48):
The same side, but against the opposition player.

Speaker 4 (01:06:52):
That'll be slow inside against good Cocoat.

Speaker 8 (01:07:01):
It was dam Cook versus Harry Grant. That's the one.

Speaker 4 (01:07:04):
That one's right, that one's right.

Speaker 8 (01:07:06):
Yeah, that's the one I wanted there a yeah, well
I just.

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
Looked over the stats too at Cogra.

Speaker 8 (01:07:14):
I'm going to put one the last two that does.

Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
That's a good because lately.

Speaker 7 (01:07:22):
Yep, we won in twenty twenty round twenty and we
won him twenty eighteen, and.

Speaker 4 (01:07:28):
That's the that's the day the our goat knocked sackwack
their goat. Jesse again, you remember the goat? You remember
the goat?

Speaker 3 (01:07:41):
I don't remember the gate.

Speaker 9 (01:07:43):
Wasn't it a Lattimore?

Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
Yeah, yes, now I remember, Yes.

Speaker 5 (01:07:50):
I've got I've got a personal message to scoop. I
think it's Leam Kennedy who says we're going to get
beaten by fifty nil.

Speaker 6 (01:07:59):
Up you jumping my.

Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
Just like just like what he said, PRIs versus one
hundred personally fell off his chair.

Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
She's understudy it.

Speaker 6 (01:08:14):
We're up for fifty ms. We're not going to score.
Try it on again.

Speaker 4 (01:08:21):
A few nasty comments from.

Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
We can can't. Yeah, but it is going to come
down to that defense, communicating and an attitude. I think
that's going to be the key is if they're going
to have to have the attitude, that's going to have
to be honest.

Speaker 6 (01:08:41):
Inconsistency has already been in the first two games, don't.

Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
Unfortunately, that's the one thing that stands out. We look
good in the trolls, but I mean it's only a troll.

Speaker 6 (01:08:52):
Yeah, we'll get it.

Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
We'll get into some news and views. Now we'll break
things up a little bit. That last Friday, So finally
we after so many years of the promise of when
it's going to happen, I last right, it did finally start.
And that is the Center of Excellence. Day one of
the work on the Center of Excellence. I'll just bring

(01:09:15):
up a clip and let's have a look into that.
And yeah, that's that's finally good to see, isn't it.
I'm coco to see the center of excellence start in
the heart of wool All.

Speaker 8 (01:09:26):
Yeah, but like I do like that, But then you
know people who are like for us two who I
don't know, Billy, Billy, I don't know if you were
from Illora or Saint George area. But for us it's great.
But then what about the people of Saint George, Like
they might not like it, so you know, they could
have done it like at Helensburg where it's in the

(01:09:47):
middle or something like I just yeah, but you know,
it's just, you know, everyone is just. But it's great
to say it's going to be good for everyone to
be in one room girls and everything.

Speaker 26 (01:10:06):
Community about grassroots and junior rugby league boys and girls
and providing gender neutral facilities. It's about collaborating with the
University of Wollongong and education, research and well being.

Speaker 27 (01:10:21):
It will provide in vocal practical learning opportunities for students science, psychology,
marketing management, as well as in education, exercise, physiology, health
and related fields.

Speaker 28 (01:10:34):
The Very Meadow home base is now taking shape after
twelve years of discussion.

Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
From my perspective was why I've been working on it
for so long because it had an opportunity to deliver real,
significant community benefits.

Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
Portant.

Speaker 28 (01:10:49):
It's creating two hundred and twenty nine construction jobs and
will support more than sixty new full time employees once operational.
The NRL clubs shaking on the sixty five million dollar
partnership with the state and federal governments to bring the
world class facility to fruition.

Speaker 18 (01:11:07):
It has been hard, with.

Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
A lot about admin and everything cup with Cogro, and
so now we're under one roof. I've seen it work
so many times before. You know how it brings a
club together and then you know it doesn't guarantee success,
but it definitely helps it build.

Speaker 28 (01:11:21):
Our fd C can now command and the community. We'll
share in the benefits by mid next year. Olivia London
win news good news.

Speaker 4 (01:11:30):
Is it a billy.

Speaker 5 (01:11:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:11:33):
Look, I'm obviously from the Saint George's side of things,
but you know we need to just not focus on
two sides of it. If we can just have one
place where we just train, you know, obviously they're going
to always come to COGRA for a training session. You

(01:11:53):
know they do those open sessions every now.

Speaker 8 (01:11:55):
And then, but you know they put a bloody Friday
people work. Yeah, hate when that happened Philly.

Speaker 7 (01:12:03):
You know, I get I get that. Yeah one I
probably you know they do those one training sessions every
week on Friday. But you know it's just we need
this center of excellence like shape running and said, you know,
it doesn't guarantee it, but it definitely helps it of

(01:12:27):
success because you know, you send it. At South City,
they've got a really decent center of excellence there now
and they do their they do their open sessions now
like they do open training sessions, and you can see

(01:12:47):
the culture of the vibe there. It's different, like it's
more positive. So hopefully this is this is a good
move for us.

Speaker 4 (01:12:58):
Ye all right, we'll get into all right news and views.

some news and views. One that's made the headlines for
the last few days. I know, Coco, you you are,
you love your mascots.

Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
What did you.

Speaker 4 (01:13:42):
I'm not sure if you've seen the news. Reggie Rabbit
a little bit in hot water palming a nine year
old kid.

Speaker 7 (01:13:49):
It's the sharks deserve.

Speaker 8 (01:13:54):
I don't that comment. I don't see me, guys, I
don't can the home man. But when I've seen two, three,
four different videos, it looked like the kids the kid
was going for a high five, but then the high
five like he moved back, and it looked then it
looked like Reggie, good old Reggie like pushed him, but

(01:14:16):
then saw another angle. You know, I'm sorry to the kid,
you know, I think and second first and second of all,
I'm sorry, But why does a rabbit o have to
go to an away game like he came to our game? Like, dude,
just stay home?

Speaker 3 (01:14:35):
Or what the mascot gates to every game?

Speaker 8 (01:14:39):
Not all dragons. Dragons are not that rich, you know,
they don't go to every game. We're like, we had
two gates, like two home games.

Speaker 3 (01:14:53):
He's been doing that role for years decades.

Speaker 6 (01:14:57):
That's a fine a.

Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
To say he was remorsevil about it. I mean, it's
a kid.

Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
It's just a misunderstanding, is but yeah, you imagine you're
in that suit, You're not really seeing what's going on.
It's kind of hard. You thought he was going to
get assaulted.

Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
He thought someone was pitting him.

Speaker 8 (01:15:17):
Maybe, But then also these days with cameras and social media,
there is four different Like I've seen it on TikTok,
so there's four different things. But then you know, you
don't know the truth. You know, it's like that stupid
stuff happened round one with us, and it was just stupid.
People just want clout. It's like, no, you need to
stop and think. That's what people's behaviors. You need to

(01:15:39):
stop and think and actually realize what It doesn't matter
if you're nine years old, ten years old, or even
fourteen to twenty years old. Look, and I feel for
the parents and everything, and I'm sorry it happened, but
just maybe teach people to be calm or cool. If
you're excited to see mascot, mascot, no problem, just don't

(01:16:00):
disrespect them either, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:16:04):
Yeah, I just think it was a misunderstanding.

Speaker 8 (01:16:07):
Yeah, he's a kid.

Speaker 3 (01:16:08):
Yeah, it's only a little fellow. Yeah, I can't expect
that a kid to be in a dull.

Speaker 4 (01:16:14):
Yeah, he was trying to high fire him.

Speaker 8 (01:16:17):
Yeah, I thought it was like a high fight, but
I think he stopped half way and pulled back. So
when like Reggie was trying to high fight, it looked
like he's about like kid. But that's what I thought.
That's because oh yeah, high five RABBITO. But then it
was like on no, sorry, it was like mid air
kind of thing.

Speaker 7 (01:16:35):
It looked like a complete accident.

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
Doing the right thing. They'd reach out to that family
and have Reggie on camera. That'd be the right thing
to do. And then it was done.

Speaker 4 (01:16:47):
And well, he did release a statement today apologize to that.

Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
Yeah, but I'd go further and that I'd be trying
to I'd be trying to track down that kid and
do it on camera.

Speaker 4 (01:16:56):
Yeah, and he did apologize as well last night. I
don't know if it's made it down to Melbourne.

Speaker 3 (01:17:02):
Young Noah, I did see it. I don't know whether
it was on social media or the news. We do
occasionally get in our own news here, but I can't
remember where I were it. Yeah, but did see a
bit of it.

Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
Now, the big one that's come out in the last
twenty four hours, DC announcing last night he will not
be at Manly after this season, Rob, what would you
like to see happen there? Do you think he'll hang
up the boots? Do you think he'll find another club?

Speaker 3 (01:17:35):
I've got an opinion of one or two years left
in him.

Speaker 4 (01:17:39):
It has been at Manly previously.

Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
Give us a chance. Yeah, first days, I reckon he's
gone the Dolphins. I reckon he's going to He's from Redcliffe,
started his career at Redcliffe. I wouldn't be surprised if
this was done a while ago.

Speaker 6 (01:17:57):
So like Ben Hunt, the voco.

Speaker 3 (01:18:01):
Not Love do you just had Dolphins written all over it.

Speaker 8 (01:18:08):
Many years ago? Didn't he.

Speaker 3 (01:18:12):
He was going to go to Tithons?

Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:18:14):
Thank god, I'll tell you Jesse.

Speaker 5 (01:18:19):
There was a meeting of Dragons officials in the last
week before this broke, and it was broken on sen Sports.
It was said Dragon's officials in a cafe in the
Southern Chia, the same cafe that broke the news that
Daniel Lakinson has come to the Dragons, and it was
poo poo. Ever, going to happen, and he came and

(01:18:39):
the same comment was that they're going after DC or two.

Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
And they prepared really big money under the salary cap.

Speaker 5 (01:18:49):
I think they're ten million, five hundred thousands thousand, got
up to fourteen thousand, and they've got spots in the
roster as we know, so they.

Speaker 6 (01:18:58):
Have the money to spend.

Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
Certainly got the money for it.

Speaker 5 (01:19:02):
And also there's an association with being an assistant coach
for a couple of years at the mainly with very
blesship with d C. And it's not necessarily about d
C troa win a Grand Final. I think he wants
to finish off and help the club grow and rebuild.
This is what I've been told, and that's what we're doing.

Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Really, you beyond to it, Rob, You're probably onto it
more than me be down there.

Speaker 6 (01:19:34):
That's the same place in the guys that that.

Speaker 5 (01:19:37):
That said about Daniel Atkinson and it came it came
to fruition and all the media was saying he's going
to go elsewhere, George.

Speaker 4 (01:19:49):
What I've heard though, DC is looking at maybe Scoop's
been sacked. Rob's replaced him an avenue. Rob Scoop sacked well,
is he done now? Looks just saying we're Scoop when
we need him.

Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
M h it's been sacked? Or are you taking a piss?

Speaker 15 (01:20:09):
Or?

Speaker 6 (01:20:09):
What scoops updates for what he thinks?

Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
Scoop likes the goss. Scoop likes to give the goss.
It's probably.

Speaker 3 (01:20:23):
It's it's an interesting, interesting one like d C and
his prime, massive signing if we've got him, but I
don't know he's right at the end of his career.
Is the value in doing it?

Speaker 13 (01:20:39):
Mhmm.

Speaker 7 (01:20:41):
Heard that we're looking at Ji grays Blake that you
know like, but.

Speaker 6 (01:20:51):
You know, I think I think he'd be valuable for
a couple of years.

Speaker 3 (01:20:57):
And then what maybe like a coaching role or something
like that after that. Yeah, maybe if they tag him
that way. Yeah, that could be the upside part of it.

Speaker 11 (01:21:09):
Yeah, well.

Speaker 4 (01:21:15):
He probably have one two years of the max. I'll
throw a ground to you all start with you, Billy,
would you would you be pro signing d C? Maybe
one or two years?

Speaker 5 (01:21:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:21:30):
Definitely, huge pro, definitely a pro.

Speaker 4 (01:21:33):
I don't like him.

Speaker 7 (01:21:34):
I think he's a grub, he's a cheat, But you know.

Speaker 9 (01:21:39):
We can need that.

Speaker 7 (01:21:40):
We need a class half back. He's a class half back.
Why wouldn't we get him?

Speaker 6 (01:21:44):
It's the top four half.

Speaker 4 (01:21:47):
Okko, would you like to see d C in the red.

Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
V Mm hmm.

Speaker 8 (01:21:53):
Not really yeah, probably just thought. I don't know, No, Yeah,
he annoys me a bit. He's a group billy, but
just annoyed me, like I don't know, like you know, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:22:07):
Just how well is he going to be?

Speaker 4 (01:22:10):
He's thirty six this year?

Speaker 3 (01:22:12):
Yeah, this is next year.

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
Yeah, he'll be thirty seven.

Speaker 3 (01:22:18):
Jesus Chriss who knows some players? Yeah, but is he
going to play the mobility scooter? He's always forty?

Speaker 5 (01:22:28):
Come on, quite well, I'll just tell you guys, right,
my cousin right, and I'm being really serious. I'm not
bullshiting you guys at all. My first cousin, right is
a two V which is which is a cousin of
Jeff two TV right that he is the fittest player
in the club as we stand now, DC is the

(01:22:53):
fittest player. Anything they do with fitness, they have to
pull him back, the fitness, the fitness guys pulling back.

Speaker 6 (01:23:00):
He's that fit. Let's say, you know, like you don't
need to do any answer. So he's literally the fittest player.

Speaker 3 (01:23:07):
He's got muscles on his neck.

Speaker 4 (01:23:15):
Am, what are you smoking, Scoop?

Speaker 6 (01:23:20):
He probably.

Speaker 29 (01:23:23):
Yeah, Liam Kennedy And now I worked out at Scoop.
His name is Liam Kennedy, so I know I get
stuff like, hey, big boy, we're going to beat the
Dragons by.

Speaker 6 (01:23:37):
Fifty or big boy. I think Kennedy a lot of
it works out checked out Facebook, it's Scoop.

Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
Scoop.

Speaker 5 (01:23:48):
If you lose, mate, I'm going to get Blake Laurie
Woodsy to go to your house mate.

Speaker 8 (01:23:53):
Oh no, Cody Walker, he's really smoking something.

Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
My god, are you all for d Rob?

Speaker 18 (01:24:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:24:08):
Mate, absolutely, I think I absolutely agree with Donnie unfortunately,
as much as I want to give the boys a chance,
the hearts.

Speaker 5 (01:24:17):
We've got, and I know Daisy said we've got to
rebuild and all that sort of stuff, but it.

Speaker 6 (01:24:23):
Might just be the recipe.

Speaker 5 (01:24:24):
Daniel Lakinson's coming in from the Sharks, who I think
will be five eight, and it might be a great
guy to have it half back for a year or
two to.

Speaker 6 (01:24:34):
Get us right up into the top eight, let alone
the top.

Speaker 4 (01:24:37):
Four youngs will be ready by then.

Speaker 5 (01:24:42):
And he's just he just is a competitor d C.
And I think Cameron Smith was on Hunim sent foot
you last night and said what he does to the
Queensland State of Origin team and the players and everything,
and yeah, days is a great mental mate, first to training,
last to go all that sort of stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:25:02):
It's the third of guy that planning him wants and
potentially in like a coaching sort of role beyond footy
is what they could be looking at. Coach. You would
be huge for our club.

Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
Oh absolutely, I mean I was struggling in the area
for so many years on off. So yeah, and then
we've gotta we've gotta get over the fact, I mean
on storms, drain and support to make three generations.

Speaker 6 (01:25:28):
My old members member of.

Speaker 5 (01:25:29):
The football club for six six years passed on. My
mum's seen ninety and May the ninth, right, so that's
the age group. But like we're gonna get over a bit.

Speaker 6 (01:25:38):
If a player comes from around club and we don't
like him or whatever, I mean, that's what happens.

Speaker 4 (01:25:43):
You've got to go for the best players.

Speaker 6 (01:25:47):
Maybe this is oh he's been at whatever, whatever. We
just want the best for.

Speaker 3 (01:25:51):
The Dragons, Dragons Jersey and then you're lik him pretty quick.

Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
They start with it has nailed it on the head
though that the one hundred, now does that spark concern
that lot? Seeing as we signed lock elist for two years.
I know you said on a chat on the last
couple of days, Rob, that you fought flanel panic when
he bought Lochlan Elis there was no Harves on the market.

Speaker 2 (01:26:16):
Guys.

Speaker 8 (01:26:17):
Hey, First of all, the just broke his leg last season.
He had fifty games, he broke his leg and he
just came back. He wasn't he's gonna be a good player, guys,
give him a fucking break.

Speaker 6 (01:26:30):
Nothing nothing against serious. We wanted to do well. But
I think I think panic because Hunt left then was gone.

Speaker 8 (01:26:39):
Yeah, good written by Of course you know what, Rob,
I'm going to be a millionaire by the time you'd
say Hunt, it's gonna be great. I'm gonna put a
dollar in my dollar er every time.

Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
I gotta say that, Rob. This was the one thing
I was waiting for because I heard you were into
him all last year. You know you like him, and
I was thinking, I wonder what I was going to
say when he's gone and we're straggling a bit. Is
he going to want him back. No, well, I don't
think he want his attitude back, but we could definitely

(01:27:14):
have his experience, that's for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:27:17):
Look, I agree, I pay homage now to his ability
and we're just saying DC is in the top four
half backs. Obviously hunts right up there as well too.

Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
I just don't. I just don't think Ben Hunt was
our captain. Ben Hunt with a better captain in our
side is probably a better player with the right players
around him, and.

Speaker 6 (01:27:45):
Maybe just drop him out of the captaincy.

Speaker 5 (01:27:47):
And you know what I mean when this is from
two or three years ago, that was as they should.

Speaker 3 (01:27:53):
Have to do it all on his own.

Speaker 6 (01:27:57):
Yeah, but I mean the class player, top players like it.
Talk about d C. I think Jesse they're once in
a generation.

Speaker 5 (01:28:06):
We've got this gap thirty five, thirty six year olds,
thirty four year olds with that andround.

Speaker 4 (01:28:10):
They're all over thirty, all over thirty. The best halfbacks around.

Speaker 6 (01:28:13):
Now, it's just not that ilk of halfbacks. You know
that good are half back.

Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
The only one under thirty you'd say at the moment
is the good ones are public clear and lay Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:28:26):
Yeah, and obviously they used to be five eight, but
obviously halfback can do it.

Speaker 4 (01:28:31):
He's looking good so far the Tigers.

Speaker 3 (01:28:33):
Yeah, but it always says something about the other players
in the comp, like, if those two players have been
dominating the comp for that long, what are the other
clubs doing to bring these guys through?

Speaker 4 (01:28:43):
But you look, you look at the halves, the best
halves of the game now, Moses, Cherry, Evans, Reynolds, Hunt, Yeah,
they're all over thirty.

Speaker 6 (01:28:54):
Yeah, all the old guys.

Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
Yeah, and we need to find that guy coming through, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:29:01):
Which I think is what the plan is with the
young Andrew guys.

Speaker 5 (01:29:05):
And even was with her name and was Solomon but
obviously didn't work out. But I still think we've got
some great younger players Donnie was was saying. But even
Donnie was saying, some of them are not up to
it and still have you know a few years, you know,
would get to your developed to get to NRL level

(01:29:26):
and stuff like that. So I mean, look at DC
would obviously be good value for us. I mean, the
guys are freak. The guy is an exceptional player. We
just got to get out of the fact that he's
a manly player or whatever. I mean, she's my first
cousin's cousin is Jeff Tube and Jeff Twoby got offered
the contractor Saint George and knocked it back years ago.

Speaker 6 (01:29:46):
So yeah, yeah, he was close to going.

Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
His parents are from great parents of from Beverly Hills,
all on bread, so you know, raised names Beverly Hills,
so Saint George to come down to main I just
think it was just loalty to stay Mainly, you know
one way back in that day.

Speaker 6 (01:30:06):
I was a freak as well too. If you remember,
he used to bench press as much as the props
as a as a halfback. Absolute freak of a guy.

Speaker 3 (01:30:14):
That was a hand take I've ever seen, like you
beat the crap out and he keep going, yeah.

Speaker 30 (01:30:20):
I'm believing, and you know what, And sorry Jesse, to
go off track. This is something for everybody out there
who ros Bob Fulton, Bozo Fulton, Jeff two. His first
first gig in first grade. He went to a gym
and they were doing boxing and all that sort of stuff,
and he was up against Spud Carroll and Boza said,

(01:30:42):
right here you go, Jeff, cracking up was fun. So
and that's what they did, boxing gloves.

Speaker 6 (01:30:49):
No freaking you know, like anything on their head or
anything like that they.

Speaker 5 (01:30:53):
Just built the ship out of each other. And that's
how tough it was back then. Mate, in the late eighties, nineties.

Speaker 6 (01:30:59):
Best best ever side of Oregon Dame.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
I love that I met I met Spud Carol Danny once.
Oh really he used to have a role.

Speaker 4 (01:31:07):
With Have you had his beer? You've got to have it.
It's it's it's good.

Speaker 3 (01:31:12):
Yeah, okay, I haven't seen it any.

Speaker 5 (01:31:18):
And Spide always says about Jeff tough little man, that
mean tough.

Speaker 4 (01:31:22):
Little Yeah, he's he was running a trivia night down
area one night and he's he's still he's he's got
cloke from all the concussions he got through his career.

Speaker 18 (01:31:37):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:31:38):
So he's got a bit of a memory loss. But
he's good bloke, nice bloke to make them.

Speaker 3 (01:31:42):
Yeah, some of the clashes against Paul Hargan.

Speaker 4 (01:31:48):
Was footy back then.

Speaker 3 (01:31:49):
That was the charge anymore.

Speaker 6 (01:31:52):
That's the problem when are they running to each other.

Speaker 5 (01:31:55):
But that that's the problem with the dragons where you
got back out of the years, it's that the halves
flying harvest combination. I used to love Goldthorpe and Mundine.
You'd had Goldthorpe, we could organize and run them around
the park and Mundane was this X factor guy. Yeah,
absolutely make something out of nothing, you know what I mean,

(01:32:15):
and I mean far out man, that's what we missed.

Speaker 6 (01:32:18):
We missed that X factor.

Speaker 3 (01:32:20):
If we had that, you know, I'm a king, I'm
a king Taga fan.

Speaker 4 (01:32:27):
Yeah, yeah, I'm sure if he's knocking on the door.
He's been looking good in New South Wales Cup. I'm
sure if if LocHal Lilis doesn't fly soon, he'll get a.

Speaker 3 (01:32:37):
Call that he might get put in this weekend. I
was I was thinking that maybe he's a late inclusion.

Speaker 5 (01:32:47):
Yeah, well, I mean I think Flanne. You know you
look at Bloody. We're wearing downet. I can't muck around
with Lewis Dob did he? So you know, I mean,
I know what Coco is saying, I feel thrilliest and
all that. But yeah, I mean if we keep on
losing changes right and we can't, we don't he closed
out games?

Speaker 8 (01:33:06):
Yes, Rob, excuse me, Rob? Can I just say it's
not just one of the young people. Look at Gotherson
he was look he all of them. I don't think
so he's I didn't think he was the best freaking players.

Speaker 3 (01:33:24):
I think, didn't he I want to come to I
want to come to Gartho's defense. I reckon he does
more for the team than what you realize. It's he's
he's talking aback, organizing the defensive line. That's what he
brings that you don't see.

Speaker 8 (01:33:39):
Yes, but I'm on the hill, I'm at the front
of the thing, and I in his position. Like I said,
I saw Cody Ramsey, who God bless his soul, like
he has been, what a great marvelous journey he went
through like and I heard him screaming at the top
of his lyings to all his players in New South
of Best Cup, We're Gutherson. I watched him. I didn't

(01:34:00):
hear a peep, didn't hear anything. I heard Damien Cook,
I heard Tyrone Saloon, I heard other players and no
disrespect to the captain. But still for me and I
already had reservations about him signing. But everyone has an opinion.
I'm open, but.

Speaker 4 (01:34:22):
Yes, I was also at that game Coco. I did
see he did not stop talking the whole game.

Speaker 3 (01:34:28):
He was very very he goes and difference of opinion.
I know.

Speaker 8 (01:34:34):
Why didn't see it, Like I just didn't I didn't
see it.

Speaker 4 (01:34:38):
So those try Sloan scored. He doesn't score with that
Guffo putting him in that position.

Speaker 6 (01:34:46):
But the whole, the whole thing is we were twenty
four to twelve a hit. We should have closed the
game out.

Speaker 8 (01:34:51):
Maybe the kids maybe with that if their homes doesn't kick.

Speaker 3 (01:34:56):
Now what about we ran We won five tries to
four rights. We should have won that game.

Speaker 6 (01:35:04):
Jesse said that vl Holmes can kick a field goal.

Speaker 20 (01:35:08):
He wasn't.

Speaker 3 (01:35:08):
He didn't.

Speaker 8 (01:35:10):
Yeah, get the book.

Speaker 3 (01:35:14):
Should shouldn't have got to that in the first place.
We should have had a game plan to get us
out of that mess. So broadly, shouldn't have been there. Yeah,
we shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Speaker 8 (01:35:27):
And you could tell that they were ready for they
were ready for a field goal because they were every
time they were getting ready to pass the ball, they
were ready to find whoever it was who Actually, he.

Speaker 3 (01:35:42):
Just had so much time to take that shot too.
It just was like, yeah, you could have smoked a
cigarette before he took that shot.

Speaker 6 (01:35:50):
And in the first game two days against the Bulldogs.
What worried me was with fricking Burton. He had all
the time to kick.

Speaker 3 (01:35:57):
Yeah, there was no there's no pressure.

Speaker 4 (01:36:00):
You can't do that to monster.

Speaker 3 (01:36:01):
You cannot do that to monsters. Burn Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:36:07):
Around Hughes is not playing. But what a luxury they
have bringing Tyron wish. I In any other he'd be
starting half.

Speaker 6 (01:36:14):
He'll do a big job.

Speaker 3 (01:36:17):
Is he just resigned. I think he's just resigned with
a stormy No, he hasn't. He hasn't yet because I
hate down here. We were looking at him.

Speaker 4 (01:36:27):
Yes, PARAMOUNTA might be looking at him too with the
Dylan Brown things, so they need a five eight. So yeah,
he I don't think he'd want to be a bench
player the rest of his career.

Speaker 3 (01:36:40):
Well, the d comes, he's not going to want that.

Speaker 5 (01:36:44):
M But you know, Jesse, you said that Craig meling
me when he said I didn't like the complacency two
significant periods of the game, like clearly when clearly went off,
I didn't like.

Speaker 6 (01:36:57):
It's unacceptable.

Speaker 5 (01:36:58):
We have to be much better in our next holy Ship.
So you know when Bellamie says that that's not good.
So he's not happy and they still beat the premieres.
They still won't, you know what I mean. But he's
not happy, so watch out if we're inconsistent, we're in trouble.

Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
We need a niggler, We need someone who can niggle.

Speaker 4 (01:37:23):
Yeah, maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:37:26):
We need a grub. And that's what David Klemer is.

Speaker 4 (01:37:30):
I would so like to see him and Nelson go
long her hands. But it Nelson's not there this week.

Speaker 8 (01:37:37):
That is he feel able to come or does he
have to stay home? Who Nelson? Does he get to
come to the game or does he need and.

Speaker 6 (01:37:47):
He just can't play?

Speaker 5 (01:37:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:37:51):
Yeah, And another thing that made the headlines the other day,
we saw Ricky Stewart having a shot of Andrew Aptough.
Now there's been talk that you can't say anything about
referees postgame press conference, but they have these press conferences
five to ten minutes after a game. It's hard not
to be emotional. What are your thoughts on no commenting

(01:38:12):
about referees after games or at any time.

Speaker 8 (01:38:16):
Well, we're all screwed because we talk about the referees
all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:38:19):
So well, we're not coaches. Choco.

Speaker 8 (01:38:24):
Well, I think I think I think the coaches could
do like a you know, sub sub, like a what
is it called a subtitled dig but not really dieg
you know, no be like and Ricky Sure. I love
Ricky Shure, how like he says it because he's a
bit like Craig Bellamy. They're just honest and they just
it's suck their emotions.

Speaker 3 (01:38:45):
You know. He can't help himself there, Ricky Star, You've
put one hundred grand fine over his head. He will
still say something.

Speaker 8 (01:38:53):
Yeah, but still and no, No, the Raiders lost and
I lost a tip, So I'm upset.

Speaker 6 (01:39:02):
It's a bit precious, is I mean?

Speaker 5 (01:39:05):
I mean, you know, like we're going to be able
to speak about the game and stuff with that, and
then they get questions that all of the questions to
get from the media towards the cages. What do you
think about that decision? Don't you think that was a
full pass? Or don't you think you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:39:19):
I mean, comment on the ref isn't it?

Speaker 3 (01:39:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (01:39:25):
Forward today?

Speaker 6 (01:39:27):
Nothing the refs.

Speaker 8 (01:39:30):
I know that's what we should do with Rob Jeth.
Let's have a better hunt free day.

Speaker 3 (01:39:38):
What is is We've got the technology, but we still
can't rule on forward passes.

Speaker 4 (01:39:44):
Did you did you see that when you came last
Saturday days the Titans first try forward pass.

Speaker 3 (01:39:52):
We're seeing it all the time. I saw it a
couple of times in the Bulldogs game.

Speaker 7 (01:39:57):
Yeah, off the scrum and the referene is on the spot.

Speaker 3 (01:40:01):
Yeah, tried to Wilson that was three minus forward. You
could see you can see where I missed it.

Speaker 6 (01:40:13):
Way out the bunker call. I don't get it the
bunker call.

Speaker 3 (01:40:18):
Yeah, they can't. Well, but that's what I'm saying. They've
got the technology on it, with the laser laser technology,
but they don't use it. Why can't you ruin it?

Speaker 7 (01:40:29):
It's so blatantly obvious that the pass is forward, like
Stevie Wonder can see it. Mate, You know.

Speaker 4 (01:40:39):
What Rookie Stewart is saying though too. There were way
too many six agains in the game today. There are
way too many. And you mean those ding ding what's
that for? Well, what's that for?

Speaker 6 (01:40:50):
I just told something they're about Stevie Wonder.

Speaker 3 (01:40:53):
It was.

Speaker 6 (01:40:53):
It was beautiful.

Speaker 5 (01:40:54):
He was doing carpool karaoke and he said to the host,
you know, I'll drive the charts.

Speaker 4 (01:41:02):
Well, shoot, anyway, we'll get into our around round four
tips and then we'll have.

Speaker 8 (01:41:12):
A question, Jesse question, So you know how I think
with our game? There was it was apparently try and now,
back in the day, I bet Dazza and Rob will
know and probably you. When there was a penalty try,
there used to be you could kick twice.

Speaker 4 (01:41:29):
You know that's a point try.

Speaker 8 (01:41:31):
Yeah, that's right. But then the other day it was
only one kick. When did that stop? But I, you know, oh,
because it was our game.

Speaker 3 (01:41:41):
I think it's if there's an infringement after the try
scored and it's deemed too uh what's the word the gate,
it's deemed to justify a second shot at goal. Yeah,
try score, they take the shot at goal and then
it's a penalty for the infringement after the try was scored.

Speaker 8 (01:42:04):
Yeah, because I think it was that's right. And I
was like why are they any kicking once? Like, I
was like, where's the next It wasn't worthy of an
eight point try, yeah, but they still said it.

Speaker 3 (01:42:15):
Was, but it was worthy of a try. They stopped
the try so it would have been scored.

Speaker 8 (01:42:20):
I was having my head, Yeah, I like, where's the
second the second kick? And my friend next me was
like yeah, where is it? So we were like both
stuff going half. So yeah, I just want to check
if it was the one.

Speaker 3 (01:42:35):
In ninety nine, the Grand Final was that because I
was actually at that game, that Grand Final where we lost.
Was that an eight point I can't remember? Was that
an eight point try?

Speaker 4 (01:42:44):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (01:42:45):
Is that when a hanger?

Speaker 3 (01:42:47):
Yeah, that's an example of it.

Speaker 8 (01:42:50):
Yeah, that's when that was my stuff of the hatred of.

Speaker 4 (01:42:57):
Was the.

Speaker 3 (01:43:00):
I was at that Grand Final robe it was the
saddest day of my life.

Speaker 6 (01:43:04):
That first try who went through was incredible.

Speaker 3 (01:43:08):
I saw it. Yeah, I was confident. I thought we're
going to win this and walked away devastated.

Speaker 4 (01:43:17):
Anyway, we'll get into a round four tips, then we'll
have a look at our predictions for the game for
the Dragons and Storm game. But Thursday night we'll kick
off with the Rabbit O's taking on the Panthers. The
Rabbit O's do welcome back Alex Johnston while Campbell Graham
is out with injury. The Panthers Trent Taalau comes in.
He played only about twelve games last year, gets his

(01:43:38):
first crack at number seven. With Natan Cleary out with
the eleven day standard protocols, Paul ala Motti shifts to
the wing, Tom Jenkins moves to sun Day. Laurie is
back from a calf injury. Blade Slungy keeps his spot
on the bench. Who bounces back in round for the
Rabbit O or the Panthers.

Speaker 6 (01:43:57):
Rob just going to the Panthers. Is that plays out?

Speaker 3 (01:44:02):
But I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:44:05):
I've got to go Panthers purely from what they've done
in the past. So I'm saying Panthers. But I think
it's gonna be closer than what it usually would be
because obviously the house got those players out. I think
Alex Shahnson's back but on the wing. Yeah, Panthers, but
I think it might be a sort of thrashing by panis.

Speaker 4 (01:44:28):
Yep, Young, who do you like this one?

Speaker 3 (01:44:30):
Yeah? I like the Panthers as well. Well, there's players out.
I think the Panthers by how much.

Speaker 4 (01:44:38):
Believe you? Yeah? Oh sorry, Young? Do you want to continue?

Speaker 3 (01:44:45):
If you were talking Margins, I'd say maybe sixteen eighteen
points something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:44:52):
Yep. Oh, he's so mute, he's that mute.

Speaker 9 (01:44:58):
Be the kid my min died. So it's just yep,
I have sounds.

Speaker 3 (01:45:07):
Really wow.

Speaker 5 (01:45:11):
My son Billy the same age. He said the same thing.
You reckons that aenerally got some players out.

Speaker 6 (01:45:19):
Wayne Bennett Faker as well.

Speaker 9 (01:45:22):
That's kind of pushed me over Wine.

Speaker 4 (01:45:24):
I think he'll be close, all right, Coco, Who do
you like in this one? Rabbit O's are the Panthers.

Speaker 8 (01:45:32):
I'm going to Panthers.

Speaker 4 (01:45:35):
Yep, I'm going to go. I'm going to go with
the rest of the panel. I'm going to go with
the Panthers as well. Friday of the early game at
is at Aliand Stadium, the Roosters taking on the title.
The titles did look very good against the Roosters, and
the Roosters they lost a little bit of a step
against the Warriors last week. They do welcome back to
Lindsay Colin though, and Nat Butcher as well is on

(01:45:58):
the bench. But Titans have lost Keano Kinney. He's been
great to start the year. He's averaging over two hundred
meters in the last couple of games, so that is
a massive out. Jalen. The group comes in at fallback there.
I like the Titans of this one. I've liked the
way they've been playing. What do you think, Billy?

Speaker 3 (01:46:19):
This is tough?

Speaker 7 (01:46:20):
Like I'm so confused here because both these teams have
shown patches of how good they can be when they're
actually on. Roosters came out of nowhere that week. I'm
trying to think if that was a fluke week or not.

Speaker 9 (01:46:37):
At home, I think I think Roosters just get the
job done. I reckon Roosters by one.

Speaker 3 (01:46:44):
Resters were ship the first week, weren't they, and then
came in and had a blind to a second. You
just don't know what you're going to get when they.

Speaker 4 (01:46:52):
Crashed to work against the Warriors.

Speaker 9 (01:46:54):
Yeah, they could just show up again.

Speaker 11 (01:46:57):
Swin By.

Speaker 9 (01:46:59):
I've got russ By one. I wouldn't been surprised if
times blowing out the park.

Speaker 3 (01:47:05):
Yeah yeah, yeah, young flipp flipp a coin for me.
Look with that, Kinny, I'll go to the Roosters, just
not with any confidence.

Speaker 8 (01:47:23):
I have no idea with this one.

Speaker 3 (01:47:28):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:47:29):
Yeah, the Roosters I haven't been playing well, but it's
actually good to see, like, you know, because you have
the like in the in the NRL world, it's like
you have the top notch people, and it's good to
see some of those people, some of those plays and
some of those teams getting a bit knocked back, like
the Roosters. You know, we've been in the last what

(01:47:49):
three to four years down below, we're thirteenth at the moment.
Hopefully we can get back up in the eight. But
it's good to see some of those good teams get
a bit of reality and get not down a bit.

Speaker 5 (01:48:00):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:48:01):
Look at the Eels, look at the Cowboys, Look where
they are. They're below us. So I think I did
like the way the Titans played, But if it's in Sydney,
I might go Risters. Maybe I'll probably change my tip
tomorrow and no, I'll go Roosters.

Speaker 11 (01:48:18):
Right.

Speaker 5 (01:48:20):
I agree with Days. I think Kenny is a big
loss to them. I like what they did in their
last match. I loving Tin so big t for listening
your favorite player.

Speaker 6 (01:48:33):
Yeah so teenage really really one of the best props
in the game.

Speaker 5 (01:48:37):
But yeah, I just think Roosters will probably be too
strong and get over the line. I think you got
a lot to play for a bit. Like what Keiko
just said, the best teams now, well that have been
the best team. Sort of having to suffer a bit
is a good thing, you know what I mean. But
in saying that, they also might rise as well too

(01:48:57):
to the top. And Robber is a decent coach, so
I think it'll be close on Bertie Bruce's.

Speaker 3 (01:49:06):
I saw Kenny coming through the Queensland Cup. I watch
a little bit of queens And Cup as well, and
he always looked like he was going to be a
good player.

Speaker 6 (01:49:15):
Yeah, freak mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:49:18):
The next game is the Battle of Brisbane. I know
you're a big lover of those two teams, Desert Young,
So who do you like in this one? It's the
Battle of Brisbane. The Dolphins belt at the Broncos in
their last speeding they haven't started this year. Well, the
Broncos looking okay.

Speaker 3 (01:49:37):
Well, you know I'm not going to tip the Broncos.
And I'm a bit of a closet Dolphins fan as well,
for those who know me, So I'm definitely going for
the Dolphins. Lephins? Am I tipping the Broncos?

Speaker 4 (01:49:54):
Rob Who do you like in the Battle of Brisbane?

Speaker 3 (01:49:56):
Here? Good?

Speaker 8 (01:50:00):
Don't you want to be in the top of your keeping?
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 5 (01:50:06):
Nineties Grand Finals we lost against the Broncos. So excuse
the friend.

Speaker 3 (01:50:11):
That far back from me too. I remember going to
those games and just cop and heat from Broncos. I
hate them.

Speaker 5 (01:50:20):
Yeah, But unfortunately, although it's saying that the Dolphins obviously
the due for a win, I think I think the
Broncos will win, and Coco then Hunt will be there
in the match.

Speaker 3 (01:50:33):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (01:50:34):
Good was paint House last week? He was unreal, wasn't he?
But I know to paint hass can we.

Speaker 6 (01:50:40):
Can we get him in the out club. We'll just
give him the keys to or something in a.

Speaker 4 (01:50:46):
Couple of.

Speaker 8 (01:50:49):
Rob how many, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:50:51):
The paint Hassle freaking bloody will.

Speaker 3 (01:50:53):
Be right now.

Speaker 4 (01:50:56):
Coco the Llow Hawks has the keys too.

Speaker 3 (01:50:59):
I know that.

Speaker 2 (01:51:00):
I know.

Speaker 8 (01:51:00):
I watched that game. It was so magical.

Speaker 3 (01:51:06):
Just on the Dolphins, I read somewhere down here that
they reckon the Dolphins have got the worst squad in
the comp, which surprised me. I reckon, that's actually a
pretty good squad. I mean on paper, there's a lot
of teams that like to have that sort of caliber
of players. I mean, look at their back line. I'm
surprised that I'm doing better.

Speaker 4 (01:51:26):
They need more from the Hammer.

Speaker 3 (01:51:27):
Absolutely, what's he doing? Has been quiet?

Speaker 8 (01:51:30):
He love?

Speaker 2 (01:51:35):
Isn't it the.

Speaker 8 (01:51:39):
Dragons? So she doesn't.

Speaker 4 (01:51:48):
He be fun? He's another factor play?

Speaker 5 (01:51:52):
Ye?

Speaker 8 (01:51:53):
He is just he can he can come and see
me anytime.

Speaker 4 (01:51:59):
You're talking about her.

Speaker 8 (01:52:03):
Red shake looking there, Look looking have the cheerleaders. I
can have a little.

Speaker 4 (01:52:17):
You don't have any cheerleaders?

Speaker 8 (01:52:19):
Well some do the Shark did.

Speaker 4 (01:52:24):
You know days?

Speaker 6 (01:52:27):
That's a long time ago.

Speaker 4 (01:52:28):
Anyway, I'm.

Speaker 18 (01:52:32):
Who do you like?

Speaker 3 (01:52:33):
Who do you like?

Speaker 4 (01:52:34):
Dolphins? All the all the Broncos, Coco.

Speaker 8 (01:52:37):
I'm going for Broncos. You know what I'm You know
what i'm. You know what I think of Friday Night Broncos.
Put someone else on exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:52:46):
That's what we're wanting to get.

Speaker 5 (01:52:48):
Beat making money in Brisbane, making money Channel nine, Channel nine, picket,
I know.

Speaker 8 (01:52:55):
But I'm just how unfair is it?

Speaker 3 (01:53:01):
You turn on the TV?

Speaker 8 (01:53:03):
Turnaround?

Speaker 3 (01:53:05):
It's part of the reason I meet out of Brisbane
because you turn on the TV in Brisbane and it's
just oh, Broncos, Broncos, Broncos, Broncos, Broncos, more Broncos in
this here, Broncos. It will drive your mental.

Speaker 4 (01:53:20):
I wonder how it will be now that there's another
team up there that.

Speaker 3 (01:53:22):
You I don't know. I'm hoping it's better than what
it used to be, because it was horrible.

Speaker 8 (01:53:30):
I don't know who you want now?

Speaker 3 (01:53:31):
Does but I'm in Melbourne?

Speaker 8 (01:53:33):
Oh is it more so you're in Melbourne? Do you
hear more about like the okay, absolutely, who's your AFIL
team down there?

Speaker 3 (01:53:44):
The Navy Blue? Sadly? Oh, I'm comping at both barrels.
We haven't won yet.

Speaker 4 (01:53:51):
Oh no, this one, the one there first came all right, Billy,
who do you like in the Battle of Brisbane? Well,
the dolf get their first win or one of the
the Broncos.

Speaker 3 (01:54:04):
Give me the.

Speaker 4 (01:54:07):
Dolphins.

Speaker 9 (01:54:09):
Yeah, I just want to lose Pish Well, he's got
all the money in the world.

Speaker 4 (01:54:20):
And the Broncos have actually let it, have left Dean
Mariner out of the site. Back, I've gone head of
Dean Mariner. Yep. Now, Saturday five thirty, so the next
time we'll be asked, but we'll do that last. So
five thirty will be the Cowboys, the winless Cowboys against

(01:54:42):
the Raiders who are very disappointing against manly.

Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
Back robes in Townsville.

Speaker 6 (01:54:54):
Oh, that's it's a tough one, mate. I don't know.
Good again, it's names that have been doing so well.
Can they come back?

Speaker 3 (01:55:02):
And well, if the Cowboys lose, bells are ringing for
that coach he's gone.

Speaker 4 (01:55:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:55:09):
Yeah, I'm gonna say Camber just just purely on what
they've done so far. But yeah, I mean strangely happen,
of course.

Speaker 4 (01:55:23):
And I do welcome back Joe Tarpani. That's a big
inclusion for him.

Speaker 6 (01:55:26):
Massive.

Speaker 5 (01:55:27):
Yeah, Papa says, uh, he's the best player he's played
with his problem.

Speaker 3 (01:55:33):
So it's definitely good.

Speaker 6 (01:55:36):
Yeah from Papa League.

Speaker 3 (01:55:37):
So origin, who's that happening?

Speaker 4 (01:55:48):
Believe, how do you look in this one? Cowboys win
lets or they can Writers bounce back?

Speaker 9 (01:55:54):
Yeah, writers, I'm confident rights Writers have had a good.

Speaker 7 (01:55:57):
Start to the year. Other than that mishappened on Sunday,
manly turned up. Obviously that's hard game to win, obviously,
But Cowboys have looked pissed Paul whole season, like, you know,
just so many stupid like it's stupid eras that they're making.

Speaker 9 (01:56:17):
And I just don't see him having a good year.
So I've got them losing, losing by eighteen.

Speaker 4 (01:56:23):
Okay, you like the Raiders. Do you think the Raiders
win this one against the Cowboys?

Speaker 8 (01:56:28):
Well, yeah, yeah, I hope so. And you know what,
it's actually good to see because I was watching it
the other day when when the other night it was
good to see the young I kind of say that
he's played for Young Tomley. That's it.

Speaker 3 (01:56:43):
He used to play the Dragons.

Speaker 4 (01:56:45):
I know seem Yes, you play good game, So.

Speaker 8 (01:56:53):
I'm going for Yeah, the Raiders up the green, set
up the milk.

Speaker 6 (01:56:57):
You can't go against these. You don't go therese doesn't.

Speaker 8 (01:57:00):
Yeah, that's why I'm going for the Raiding.

Speaker 6 (01:57:03):
Trouble go well, you keep it unanimous.

Speaker 3 (01:57:06):
Young.

Speaker 4 (01:57:06):
Are you going the Raiders as well or all the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:57:09):
I'm going for the Reefers.

Speaker 4 (01:57:12):
I'm going for the Raiders too. They do get tarpaning back.
The Cowboys are relatively an unchanged side, so they've been
very disappointing. Billy Army layers out. Zach Labuck comes into
the side for him. I think that's their only change.
Wouldn't be surprised if they do start jeremih Nay. Yeah.
Now the next game is what could be a sellout

(01:57:35):
at what do you call Shark Park, Rob, Animal Park.
It's the Sharks versus the.

Speaker 3 (01:57:41):
Dogs, scam versus scam.

Speaker 4 (01:57:46):
All right, you kick us off, Rob.

Speaker 5 (01:57:50):
I look, I think the Sharks will be too strong.
I don't think the dogs. I think dogs are lost
some players. I'm sure that there's some means, but I
don't think they look I think they're a good team.
I think they'll make the top eight. But at the
moment I think the Sharks are too good. I think
I always saying across the park with Melbourne. I think

(01:58:10):
the Sharks will be too strongly out at home as
well too. And with all those something support us will
support them play and I think they're probably winten by
maybe twelve plus.

Speaker 4 (01:58:23):
Yeah, I sell it out again like they did last weekend.

Speaker 6 (01:58:26):
Absolutely, the dogs will travel the Shire like the travel
of Cobra. Yeah, it'll be a set up.

Speaker 3 (01:58:37):
They will feast the dogs.

Speaker 4 (01:58:40):
Okay, Sharks or the Doggies.

Speaker 8 (01:58:42):
I'm going for the doggies. They've they've been playing very well.
Go the doggies. What the bulldog?

Speaker 6 (01:58:50):
Who let the dogs out?

Speaker 3 (01:58:54):
Who they win? Penny though? They just they seem to
be almost lucky, all right. Yeah, they don't impress me.

Speaker 4 (01:59:04):
Yeah, young, I know you've got a lot of dogs,
dogs mates and you in your Facebook pages. They might
be watching this.

Speaker 6 (01:59:13):
Let's just let's just.

Speaker 3 (01:59:16):
Say, if they're watching this show, fuck you all, what
are you doing here? I'm going to Sharks. I'm going
to show just just give them show sixty MILLI gatling
gun and let's be done with it.

Speaker 6 (01:59:35):
Shoot themselves, not in public.

Speaker 4 (01:59:39):
Billy, you think the sharkis or the Dogs?

Speaker 18 (01:59:42):
What do do you like?

Speaker 9 (01:59:43):
Is it okay for I? Tip?

Speaker 1 (01:59:44):
No one?

Speaker 3 (01:59:45):
Just I just I just want to see him beat
the crap out of one.

Speaker 6 (01:59:51):
And Billy, you hate the team so much? Agree with you?
There are assholes.

Speaker 9 (01:59:57):
The Sharks fans are the worst there all they are.

Speaker 3 (02:00:04):
That's that's a big They just.

Speaker 9 (02:00:06):
Hop on when they start winning.

Speaker 23 (02:00:08):
Yeah, yeah, you look at there. Worse than Bronco supporters.
That's a that's a big g. You ever been to
you a Broncos home game?

Speaker 3 (02:00:18):
No, okay, we'll go to go out to a Broncos
home game and sit with him and then talk to me.

Speaker 8 (02:00:27):
Like I went to truck Park once and they were
telling me to get the f home. They're throwing God,
this is the worst and I'm like, b all right,
next question.

Speaker 4 (02:00:39):
Jesse, all right, next y.

Speaker 3 (02:00:42):
We're hammered by the refs last week one.

Speaker 4 (02:00:44):
Day at Brookie. It's this one could be a blood bath.
It's mainly versus Paramatta.

Speaker 8 (02:00:51):
Oh did anyone hear on the Channel nine thing about
black Lomax? How they and I was saying it last year,
how they said it about how he's not being in
the game and he because where he is he keeps
trying to move positions. Did anyone watch hear that or
watch that last week? Because I did. I'm like, yep,
he did last year when jack Bird was on whatever

(02:01:13):
side he was on.

Speaker 3 (02:01:14):
He's been playing well, yeah, he's got no help there.

Speaker 9 (02:01:20):
He made thirty carols. He's the only one running the
ball in.

Speaker 3 (02:01:25):
The There's nothing wrong with his form. He's been zach Lomax.
He'll get selected for Origin again.

Speaker 6 (02:01:32):
They were a big better against but then I don't
rape at the moment, but they.

Speaker 4 (02:01:39):
Were improved younger kickers off. Mainly they both games. Can
you say anything less here?

Speaker 3 (02:01:50):
Mainly have surprised me a little bit actually playing really
like I know. Mainly were a good team, but I
didn't think they'd be playing as well as what they are.
So they.

Speaker 4 (02:02:03):
Goes back to the wing, but they have lost a
second who's done his achilles.

Speaker 3 (02:02:07):
I don't think it matters. Turba can stay on the
field mainly by plenty, I believe.

Speaker 9 (02:02:16):
It's my thoughts mainly is that manly I'm assuming like yep,
so they're at home. That's just it. They don't lose.
They don't lose there. It's a fortress.

Speaker 3 (02:02:27):
So whenever are they going to do up Brookie.

Speaker 4 (02:02:30):
They have you probably they're going to bother st there.
But the ground still people still.

Speaker 3 (02:02:38):
They need to tear the whole thing to him.

Speaker 4 (02:02:40):
It will still walk their dogs on it.

Speaker 3 (02:02:42):
Yeah, it's a toss up between who's got the worst ground.
Bellmore of that ground.

Speaker 4 (02:02:49):
Shark Parks not much better.

Speaker 8 (02:02:53):
I think I've been to take another another TV on
one side.

Speaker 4 (02:03:00):
Needs a bigger.

Speaker 3 (02:03:02):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (02:03:02):
It needs to get bigger, but the government's got a
granted they're not going to give us money.

Speaker 8 (02:03:07):
Not bigger. No, there's a new TV like there's one
on that side when it's sold out and someone like me,
he's on the hill. I can't see on the other
side of the field. It's so hard to see. They
should be on the other side where the Western grandstand is,
or in between the Western grandstand on the Northern Grandstad
or the Western grandson the Seth Grandstand. Because I can't
see ship and I have.

Speaker 4 (02:03:28):
Four eyes and hard you know, manly or paramatter.

Speaker 8 (02:03:37):
I'm going for manly because it was so I don't
know if you guys heard about that little boy who
was who passed away last week cancer.

Speaker 4 (02:03:48):
Yeah, brothers, it's so good.

Speaker 8 (02:03:53):
Yeah, it was so I'm thinking of the family and
the Travoy Vitches brothers as well. It was just heartbreaking
and seeing his friends on the show, I just thought, Oh,
I'm going to go for both. I think his name
is rest in Peace, Champ and go Manly, don't you think?

Speaker 4 (02:04:12):
Do you like Manly in this one?

Speaker 3 (02:04:13):
Rob?

Speaker 4 (02:04:14):
Mainly by plenty for you absolutely?

Speaker 6 (02:04:16):
And guess what I think d Man of the Match.

Speaker 8 (02:04:20):
Thinking out.

Speaker 4 (02:04:22):
Dylan Brown most talk at the moment.

Speaker 6 (02:04:26):
I think W T Strong. I think D C Will
will really play a top game as well too, and.

Speaker 5 (02:04:32):
And Cogo Sorry Jesse, big call out to the Dray
which boys over a special needs son and they also
work with special needs by kids as well. They are
the most loveliest boys and what they do They spend
time out of the week and go and work with
these kids.

Speaker 3 (02:04:50):
Can you convince them to come down with the Dragons?

Speaker 6 (02:04:54):
Aren't they? Aren't they?

Speaker 3 (02:04:55):
Jesse?

Speaker 6 (02:04:56):
The only Laura juniors these boys or not?

Speaker 3 (02:04:59):
No?

Speaker 6 (02:05:00):
Wasn't there always the other other boys before that?

Speaker 3 (02:05:03):
Boys? Yeah, they went to my school.

Speaker 6 (02:05:08):
We lose, we lose blood.

Speaker 4 (02:05:11):
The last game of the round should be a cracker.
They've been two of the four teams the last couple
of weeks, the Tigers and the Warriors.

Speaker 6 (02:05:18):
Co go.

Speaker 4 (02:05:20):
This Campbelltown.

Speaker 8 (02:05:22):
Oh even Oh yeah, I'm pretty I'm happy for the
Tigers because you know they were They've been wooden spooners
the last what for three to four seasons, But because
it's that Campbelltown, I'm going like the Warriors. Yeah, it

(02:05:42):
would be Yeah. I think I'm going to go for Tigers.

Speaker 4 (02:05:45):
I hope I can this week, Young, Who do you
like in this one?

Speaker 3 (02:05:51):
The Tiger tip the upset? I'm going to go to
Warriors away from home.

Speaker 7 (02:05:56):
It would be good, Billy, I'm gonna go worrious Tigers, Tigers.

Speaker 4 (02:06:03):
Well, all right, Rob over to you. Who do you
like in this one?

Speaker 6 (02:06:08):
Tigers and Drome will be Mare in the match. I
think he'll seal the.

Speaker 1 (02:06:12):
Deal for them.

Speaker 4 (02:06:15):
Yeah, Tigers. I think Appy will be in the man
of the match. He's he's one of the best players
in the cop right now.

Speaker 3 (02:06:22):
The way he carries something is just uncanny.

Speaker 4 (02:06:28):
What's that like?

Speaker 3 (02:06:30):
He just picks up on things that most people wouldn't
see and just exploits it.

Speaker 6 (02:06:34):
Yeah, can have you place save Origin?

Speaker 4 (02:06:37):
Or is he he's a new South Welshman?

Speaker 3 (02:06:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:06:40):
Again, he's the Origin hooker right now.

Speaker 6 (02:06:43):
He deserves a run, doesn't he.

Speaker 4 (02:06:47):
Jobson's very quiet this year.

Speaker 6 (02:06:49):
Yeah, yeah, I hope, so, I hope he gets a run.
Is he thirty one or something?

Speaker 11 (02:06:53):
Now?

Speaker 29 (02:06:55):
He is?

Speaker 4 (02:06:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:06:56):
He is?

Speaker 4 (02:06:56):
Yeah, Yeah, has been very quiet to study. That could
be to do with the Cowboys form as well.

Speaker 6 (02:07:02):
Yeah, maybe he's a form booker for sure.

Speaker 4 (02:07:07):
We're here to talk about the Dragons and we've got
a huge game against the Melbourne Storm. I mean it's
going to be huge. If we lose this, we're going
to be facing down the barrel of none from three
not what's something we want to do? Coco?

Speaker 3 (02:07:19):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (02:07:20):
No?

Speaker 8 (02:07:22):
No way, hose name? We need to start winning and
we need and this is a good test. We just
came from the buy and we should be fresh legged,
fresh mind, passionate, determined and defend. That's what we should
be doing. And if we want to make sure the
fans get out there, it's a three pm gate dates

(02:07:43):
open at twelve thirty.

Speaker 4 (02:07:45):
Before it.

Speaker 8 (02:07:46):
They play the Bears first, so be there. It's Cogra.
How lucky are we We've had three home games. Yes,
that's right.

Speaker 3 (02:07:57):
The team is doing well too.

Speaker 6 (02:08:00):
Again that's a good team.

Speaker 3 (02:08:03):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (02:08:04):
And there about I think Luke Luke's onto something. Every
game we've had to sell out, we've lost.

Speaker 5 (02:08:13):
Exactly waiting guarantee you that not for Rain unfortunately set
up to seventys in Sydney.

Speaker 3 (02:08:22):
Because fans clo fans turn up of the right snoggles
and goggles and all the.

Speaker 4 (02:08:31):
Nice fans turned out and went to its last year.

Speaker 8 (02:08:33):
Yeah, that's that was cool. I remember that.

Speaker 4 (02:08:35):
That was the game we played them.

Speaker 5 (02:08:38):
In the rain.

Speaker 3 (02:08:41):
Who gives this ship? If it's raining? Go anyway? Good work.

Speaker 8 (02:08:50):
If you want to get that Cora, you got to come.

Speaker 3 (02:08:55):
Point. You want the games of both grounds, you go. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:09:00):
Above above the Cocoa.

Speaker 8 (02:09:05):
Picture, the moans about the Saint George Laura Broke. Get
your fucking ars there. Unless you've got kids, you got soccer.
I'm just talking about in general. If there's you know,
kids with like you know, birthday party.

Speaker 6 (02:09:20):
Understand, I don't know what it is.

Speaker 4 (02:09:22):
They don't go cooker, I don't know what's When it
happened to cocoa. Are we going to win?

Speaker 2 (02:09:28):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (02:09:28):
I think we Yes, fingers chose by Health, Soul stage
stage myself. Yes, I hope we do win and it
will be good lessons from the storm.

Speaker 3 (02:09:41):
And then get.

Speaker 8 (02:09:44):
Yes, you know what I want? I want the fucking
army to fucking pull their fucking things out and start
chanting from the minute the kicks off that and hold
the pies quiet.

Speaker 4 (02:09:58):
You don't throw the pies if you full stop.

Speaker 8 (02:10:02):
It's a game of footy. You can have banter, but
don't make it personal and don't be disrespectful. Pull your
heads in, be kind.

Speaker 3 (02:10:11):
What about if someone throws a sausage roll?

Speaker 8 (02:10:15):
You know, like you know, you go to a game
of footy and you want to if you're with your mates,
just don't be a fucking dickhead.

Speaker 4 (02:10:22):
Simple So you won't you going to the football anymore?

Speaker 24 (02:10:26):
Me?

Speaker 8 (02:10:27):
No?

Speaker 5 (02:10:30):
Like that? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:10:32):
Good because anything I didn't hear a lot about it.
Did anything else happen to get any charges or anything?

Speaker 4 (02:10:38):
With just a ban to go to court?

Speaker 6 (02:10:41):
Is there a light band?

Speaker 2 (02:10:42):
He can't go.

Speaker 4 (02:10:43):
He can't go to any NRL games anymore?

Speaker 3 (02:10:46):
Yeah, what's his Well? He looked like he was pretty drunk.
There's no excuse it.

Speaker 4 (02:10:51):
Yeah, he's only he's a twenty six year old.

Speaker 8 (02:10:54):
I said, mm hmm, well his behavior has now made
him not go to a game. And see the behaviors,
you know, behavior, I could lose my voice and be friends.
I was getting friendly with everyone.

Speaker 4 (02:11:09):
Fun.

Speaker 3 (02:11:09):
You know, it's good you were talking to doggie fans.

Speaker 8 (02:11:13):
Yeah, it was me and a lovely day because it
was because well, I was the loudest, she was the loudest,
and we were like, yeah, go And then she said,
you're doing better job than those people are over there.
And you know I always do.

Speaker 9 (02:11:29):
You know, I bring a Doggies fan with me, regret
of my wife.

Speaker 8 (02:11:35):
Where do you sit, Billy.

Speaker 9 (02:11:39):
Grandstand?

Speaker 3 (02:11:41):
The dogs are like a tape where they just get
right up your backside and there's no cure for it.

Speaker 6 (02:11:46):
Oh well, I'll tell you. I'll tell you a sorry
quick story. It's the true story.

Speaker 5 (02:11:51):
I sit in the second and the other dead closer
Fife very privileged under the sponsors.

Speaker 4 (02:11:57):
You know.

Speaker 6 (02:12:00):
Where the sponsor sit.

Speaker 5 (02:12:01):
So the last I went there, I went to go
to the tall right on fifty five tell fifty six,
and there was three or four Doggies teams of ethnic
city nationality, right, and they said, big fat boy, you're leaving.
Your team's leaving, you know. See later I said, good

(02:12:21):
on you or whatever. You know, you've been dancing the
whole game and the Bulldogs are winning or whatever. The
guy came up and grabbed me by the throat like that,
pushed me back. All the four of them got up
and grabbed me by the neck, and I was a
bit taken back. I kept on walking, went down to
the tall and all that, and came back and then
didn't see these guys. It was half time and left

(02:12:41):
and they came back or whatever. Then security came over
them twice whatever. I didn't say anything. I probably should
have said something.

Speaker 8 (02:12:49):
And then at the moment they grabbed you, Rob.

Speaker 4 (02:12:52):
You could have got the point.

Speaker 6 (02:12:55):
I was a bit taken back, you know. And that's
what happened. And then I emailed the club and they
just said sorry for what happened.

Speaker 3 (02:13:03):
And that was it.

Speaker 6 (02:13:04):
You get the pie throwing against the bulldog supporter and
was all up in arms or poor god, you got
hit by a pie. I got freaking hit in the throat,
you know, so as of Bulldog supporters. Sorry from that background,
but I don't like you very nasty people.

Speaker 8 (02:13:25):
No, they're not as bad like I have. You know what,
we all have good experiences and bad experiences with fans
and what it.

Speaker 3 (02:13:33):
Is that every teen's got ship supporters and they say
ship supporters from each team that you remember.

Speaker 8 (02:13:39):
Exactly like one, yeah, like the like you know, if
we go to like I hate going to Shark Puck
when I play the Dragons, Oh my god, is the
worst because everyone is like home, you ain't belong here
or go home.

Speaker 18 (02:13:54):
I'm like a good place.

Speaker 8 (02:13:59):
But then if you go, it was just like all right.
But you know, but then you know, you have some
that would antagonize, antagonize until that it's like but then
you're the bad one because you you like retaliated, but
you're like, well it's all right for you to say stuff.
It's like too wrong to make it right. Then when

(02:14:21):
when do you retaliate? Like for U, Rob, you could
have told security straight away.

Speaker 3 (02:14:26):
You know.

Speaker 5 (02:14:27):
I was a shock these guys in their early twenties.
My son, who's you know, older, eighteen nineteen came down
and he.

Speaker 6 (02:14:33):
Was worried about me.

Speaker 5 (02:14:34):
I'm glad he didn't get into an argument with him
or whatever. But security came over and obviously dealt with
them and all that. But they I thought about going security,
and I didn't worry about it, and I actually talked.

Speaker 6 (02:14:44):
To Jesse put me on a good path and all that.
I just let it go. Maybe I was being a whim,
but I actually got he said the right thing.

Speaker 8 (02:14:51):
Rob, Yeah, you can't wait because there are your seats.
But I just kept kept going, Hey, they're still annoying me.
I am a red V member. This is unacceptable. I'm
not going to feel unsafe at the football.

Speaker 5 (02:15:09):
There was four of them and they were jumping up
all game and I was sticking up their fingers like
this to the Dragon's crowd when the Bulldog scored.

Speaker 8 (02:15:18):
And they were the.

Speaker 6 (02:15:21):
Second road tier of our home stand.

Speaker 3 (02:15:25):
You know.

Speaker 6 (02:15:25):
But yeah, being allowed to get away with doing that.
But things have changed obviously since years ago.

Speaker 4 (02:15:33):
Yes, yep, so yeah, we'll go to you, Rob. What
do you think is can happen? What do we have
to do right to cause the upset of the season?

Speaker 5 (02:15:44):
Play for for eighty minutes, play hard, play tough. Does
you said, get ahead from the start.

Speaker 3 (02:15:53):
And hopefully I'd like to start fast. I'd like the CSD.

Speaker 5 (02:15:59):
Yeah, and just yeah, just just playing grinding football, you
know what I mean. Like I was just talking about
the Sharks, I played grinding football.

Speaker 6 (02:16:07):
So we've got to do that. There's too many lapses
in the first game, the first and second game we had.

Speaker 3 (02:16:14):
I don't know, we seem to get a roll on
from what I've said. I don't know whether you guys
say this to get a roll on and defend well,
and then all of a sudden it's just a soft try.
We let him.

Speaker 6 (02:16:24):
It's just and the two tries yeah over the line,
they were just touch football throws.

Speaker 5 (02:16:33):
So you know, against Melbourne, even with a couple of
days key players out the whole game, you forget about.

Speaker 6 (02:16:42):
It's over red Rovers. So but I'm hoping and I'll
do what I did last time.

Speaker 5 (02:16:47):
I tipped against this, which I never ever tip against this,
but only really when it's the real strong team like
Peneth Melbourne. So I'm tipping Melbourne to win, say by
twelve plus, and I'm hoping I think it's past giving
a Jinx zip like that, well, that we can come
good and we.

Speaker 6 (02:17:05):
Can beat him.

Speaker 4 (02:17:09):
All right over the year. Billy, what do you think?

Speaker 9 (02:17:12):
What?

Speaker 3 (02:17:12):
What do we have to do?

Speaker 4 (02:17:14):
To beat the premiership.

Speaker 7 (02:17:16):
Favorites, the basics completely sets, good kicks, defend well, don't
miss stupid tackles. You know, if you have to tackle
three on one player, do it. You got You've got
Gotho there. He's a supreme leader. He needs to organize
his defensive one. His organization abilities is amazing. He should

(02:17:40):
use that to his advantage. I would like to see
Damian Cook run the ball more. I don't think I've
seen enough of it to be honest. So you know,
show some different show some versatility in attack and just defend,
defend well, you know, put in.

Speaker 9 (02:17:56):
Your best efforts and we're win.

Speaker 1 (02:17:58):
We win.

Speaker 9 (02:17:59):
If we don't, well, we know we've got the best
we could like.

Speaker 7 (02:18:03):
You know, obviously the game management hasn't been there the
past couple of weeks, but it's a different week now.

Speaker 3 (02:18:09):
I'm going in with.

Speaker 9 (02:18:10):
Full positivity, full confidence.

Speaker 7 (02:18:12):
Obviously I feel a bit delusional, but I'm dipping dragons
to win anyway.

Speaker 9 (02:18:16):
So I did last year.

Speaker 4 (02:18:20):
Close one? You think?

Speaker 9 (02:18:22):
Yeah, definitely close dragons buy six once?

Speaker 3 (02:18:25):
Right?

Speaker 4 (02:18:27):
All right over to you young, What do you think
is going to happen in this one? Can we take
down the Melbourne store.

Speaker 3 (02:18:34):
Well, we certainly can, but it's going to come down to,
as I've said a couple of times, defense, and we
need to get slowin and to a pilotto into the
game and in space, give them plenty of space and
let them run. The ball. Could be anything, and who
does everyone's going to.

Speaker 4 (02:18:54):
Everyone there, go for you any time, trist scorer and
your margin, well.

Speaker 3 (02:19:05):
I'm tipping four points, four points of the.

Speaker 9 (02:19:08):
Dragons anytime, anytime. Let's go. You know what, Carl flight
again seems to be scoring, So let's go Carl for me.

Speaker 8 (02:19:24):
Yeah, by two points and Sloan.

Speaker 5 (02:19:29):
Rob I'm keeping to my reverse ecology Melbourne by twelve
and set to score.

Speaker 4 (02:19:36):
I think I'm gon s money.

Speaker 3 (02:19:39):
Yeah, he can find a trial one, that's for sure.
Like he's coping a lot of ship. He's a good winner,
he's a really good player.

Speaker 4 (02:19:49):
We have to find another try celebration. I'm sure you'll
have something up.

Speaker 3 (02:19:53):
With something.

Speaker 6 (02:19:54):
Is he equal trial leading score?

Speaker 3 (02:19:56):
He he's about four, there's only one trial I think.
I mean, I don't forget. We didn't play this week
or last week. So he's in good form.

Speaker 8 (02:20:07):
About basketball playing back.

Speaker 6 (02:20:13):
The Hawks. Yeah, yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (02:20:18):
Old under the Hawks.

Speaker 4 (02:20:20):
How good isn't it? How good is it for our area?

Speaker 5 (02:20:26):
That's a good question from Will whether they helped the
Dragons obviously expect a lot of rain, so I don't know.

Speaker 8 (02:20:33):
But have very Muhammad or not sorry.

Speaker 4 (02:20:37):
A Dragon supporter, Okay, sorry.

Speaker 11 (02:20:44):
Supporter.

Speaker 4 (02:20:45):
I was probably him and Lisa Marie of course.

Speaker 3 (02:20:48):
Yeah, so what do you think?

Speaker 5 (02:20:50):
Yes, you thought really will also if it's if it
really gets a deluge. I mean, Congo holds water pretty well,
but if it gets a deluge, like they're saying, how
do we.

Speaker 3 (02:21:00):
Go with the wet? I think it works in our favor.
I think it works in our favor.

Speaker 4 (02:21:06):
You go down to the kicking game. Yeah, okay, Monster's
got smart kicking game.

Speaker 8 (02:21:14):
Melbourne have all different like seasons in one day and then.

Speaker 3 (02:21:20):
It doesn't rain as much as you think it does.
Not right, It's got a reputation for that, but Melbourne
is very dry at the moment.

Speaker 4 (02:21:28):
Melbourne last Sunday. We want to have two two beat
to Melbourn Tea's within seven days. How does that sound?

Speaker 8 (02:21:37):
That was good.

Speaker 3 (02:21:41):
For those that don't know. I'm a massive Boston Celtics
fan and the coach is also the father of Jason Tatum. Yeah,
go to Celtics.

Speaker 4 (02:21:55):
Melbourne United, man, are you young? Super Melbourne United? In basketball?

Speaker 3 (02:22:03):
I go for the Hawks.

Speaker 4 (02:22:04):
You go for the Hawks?

Speaker 3 (02:22:06):
The Hawks? Yeah, well it's Jason Taylor's father. How can
I not go for the Hawks.

Speaker 4 (02:22:12):
Anyway, I'll go with my prediction. I think I'm going
to go with the I agree with everything you all said.
I think we're going to have to be one song,
but I'm not sure if we've got it in us
to beat them. Even with the players they do have it,
they still have a pretty handy lineup. I'm going to

(02:22:33):
start by six, six to eight points. I just don't
think we've got it in this. I really hope I
am proven wrong, but I just think the Storm that
they are a team that loves starting a season well,
and I think they will get the chocolates this weekend.
I do hope I am. I love to be proven wrong,

(02:22:56):
but anyway that that's my prediction. And don't forget tomorrow night.
We are back for Behind Enemy Mine Special with bright
Legend Ryan Hoffman, so come on for that one. We
will have possibly we might have Big Tea back as well,
so he's still in the in the ward at the hospital.

(02:23:18):
He did try to come on tonight, but he's stuck
in the water. He had to go to bed early
to come. But I'm going to go, yeah, I think,
and I'm going to go any time, Try Scorer. I
just I think it'll be Christian talk.

Speaker 3 (02:23:30):
For two.

Speaker 4 (02:23:31):
I'd love to see Egan get a trying debut. That'll
be a great moment for him to his family. In
front of his family.

Speaker 9 (02:23:39):
How good would it be, Hamish and Dylan Egan's scored
in the same game.

Speaker 3 (02:23:44):
I can see t score punt any time, Try Scorer.

Speaker 4 (02:23:50):
I reckon he'd be a very short priced to score
a try mm hm.

Speaker 6 (02:23:54):
Anyway, Scoop, if you're listening, if we lose by fifty
Melbourne and Aaron Woods and like lord you sitting on
your ass and Laguna Park mate, mister George Harriott.

Speaker 4 (02:24:07):
All right, So that that that wraps us up for
the saving. Thank you hire for twenty in. We'll see
