We gave you Round four's game against the Melbourne Storm
after a week off. We've had lots of time to
prepare since that heartbreaking loss to South Sydney. But yeah,
we're playing up against the competition leaders and the premiership
favorites in the Melbourne Storm. Doesn't get much tougher than this.

Yep. It's a formidable looking side, even though they are

table and it's going to be a tough old game
against the Melbourne Storm. In fact, they're pretty much our
Burgie side. We've historically, they're now the team we've struggled

the most against since nineteen ninety nine. So yeah, it's
going to be a tough old game. But we we
fought that last year. We went down to Melbourne and
took them and we've got the upset of the season.
It will be an upset of the season if we
can do that again this weekend. Now we'll go first

He come up with that rib injury in the second
half against Soups. There was potential there was talk that
he might miss this game. It wasn't OUs on the
radio over the weekend, but Planno has named him. Do
you think he'll play?

I'm sumy he's going to But I I'm like you,

has to do to get keep his place? I mean
a lot of people have already been throwing the knives
out of him. What do you think of Lochlanlius? Does

he get it? What does he got to do to
get things right and close out and game managers? Because
we should have ICD that game against South so he
just didn't step up. He's got the ultimate test against
the arguably the best team in the COP.

Well, like you said, game managing, he's got like you know,
he's going to put kicks down in the corner, put
them deep, you know, try and cause the storm to
just not make meters, like you've got to just close
them down as much as you can. Like what he's
been doing the last couple of weeks with the short kicks.
You know, it's going little like thirty meters and they're

catching it on the twenty and they're running back and
they're already on the forty by the second tackle. It's
just especially against the Dogs, like you know, many times
they got the ball back on the thirty and it's
just painful, you know. So he just needs to kick better,
defense strong, you know, just communication in the defensive line.

he's been making. So once If you get those right,
you know, you can't ask.

I think that's key too. Like we do taper off
in defense, we go to sleep and letting easy tries,

He had that hand heavily strapped against South so didn't
look good in that game. But do you think he
should start? Maybe Cookie off the bench? What are your
thoughts on that one?

Personally, I think Cook still needs to start obviously, like
you said, a little was a bit underdone. He did
miss two preseason games, so he didn't even get any
match fitness in before the actual start of the season.
Looked good in round one, but round two he threw
a couple of eras, you know, a couple of forward passes.
One that was crucial to the game. You know, got

the set off, the kick off from a try and
just throws the ball forward poorers. I think that he
just needs to come off the bench for now, but
he needs to get more than thirty minutes. I think
thirty minutes is a bit too little for him. He
needs at least forty kind of share the role with

Cook a bit, you know. I think if we can
have both of them on at the same time, just
creates a different sort of spark out of attack. You know,
they don't know who's going to run the ball, what's coming.
So I just think that shame Flanney's got to find
a way to get both of them in the squad
at the same time.

who used to play footy back in their day, especially
whoever played footy on the pad, all no to understand
the grassroots to become an NROL player, there's stages. And
I congratulate Dylan Egan and I am going to back

got speedsters. You know, they have your coach, they've got Puppenhousen,

You know, just on sunny Bill Williams, I saw his
first ever trial game against the Dragons, that Carrara up
the Queen, that was in two thousand and four, and
it's probably one of the best debutes I've ever witnessed.
I had never seen a second role play like that ever.

I think he went I went straight home, looked at
the stats and I I think it was like three
hundred and thirty meters for the night line breaks, tries, tries, assist.
It was a phenomenal game and he played all year
after that.
