It's the radio guy, doctor Mike Brantzwelcome to another production
here at the Open Mic Broadcast Network. Our first broadcast
of twenty twenty six. Normally do a year review and
things of that nature, but I'm going to look a
little bit down the road for this opening broadcast of
twenty twenty six, and I'm going to step outside of

the Southwestern Athletic Conference zone, if you would. I'm going to,
as they say, go to the deep end of the
pool and give a forecast of some handwriting that is
apparently showing.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Up on the wall that I don't.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Know if people are quite paying attention to. I'm going
to try to get out ahead of this thing if
I could. A recent movement in the Big twelve Colorado,
the athletic director that hired Dion Sanders, stepped down. Took

another position within the university's ranking, but not directly dealing
with sports. We know that Dion Sanders came in flipped
the entire scenario of college football sales in the state
of Colorado. Had the best year, not this season, but

last season went three and nine. This season dealing with
some personal health channels is ad steps down. They just
acquired a new ad from New Mexico, the Lobos, and

I'm thinking this was a strategic move being made for
future references. It is no secret that Dion Sanders came
with a price, and that return on investment is not

necessarily paying off for Colorado Buffalo's and as a result,
they're starting to do some internal redirection, if you would,
in comes the new ad who has no ties to
Dion Sanders.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
They're coming on a down yere Eon Sanders.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Has changed the narrative to where the powers that be
have become a bit uncomfortable with the payroll, a bit
disenchanted with the results. And so the new ad in
town first assessment, according to the Denver Press in Colorado,

is to re establish a stronghold over athletics because quote
unquote Dion Sanders has gotten out of control. So what
I'm projecting is that it would not surprise me that

somewhere in the year of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
That they part ways with Dion Sanders.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
And it'll be a multitude of things that they'll try
to smooth over. They'll say the health concerns and is
just best to look out for his best interests, this,
that and the other.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
But there are a lot of disenchanted.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
People in Colorado with the Dion Sanders project, and I
think is walking very ginger one thin ice, and with that,
I think this is going to be the story of

the year at some point in twenty twenty six. This
is a unique take from us here at the open
Mic Broadcast Network, but it was something that was on
my frontal low I wanted to get it out there
