got to accepting engrades, who you are, where you are,
how we operate in comparison to how the other side operate,

games on an FCS playoff experience to create some more
exciting matchups and funding support on the SCS member, because

They got teams that are making it quick five to
seven records, six and six records and nobody is looking
to attend. This is horrible. But you need to go
back to the drawing hoard and group up and and
and and report position some of these bowl games where

they can create an interest for their products and their
promoting and selling and help fund some of this FCS programming.
Now just HBCUs with the FCS as a whole. And
I think that's part of the movie. Coach, You know
that you know, well, you'll think it's great. I think
it's great. But we ain't making no decisions at the case.

somebody has to wake up and say, you know what,
we keep chasing this moving target. Yep, and it's it's

have a competitive program, that ticket becomes a higher commodity,
even if that ticket of a hotter commodity. Okay, instead

I'm gonna have to and charge you thirty dollars because
it's limited ticket opportunities and I get a chance to

sell you and make a better profit. But we we
we got the cart in front of the horse coach.
We dig it, we build it. They'll come. Man, this
is not to kill the dreams. This is not to
kill the dreams. And so we we. But our students
are killing us. Our students are killing us. You want

to you want to travel, to go, show up and
have fun on somebody else's cabin, but you putting money
in their pocket. Take care of your home business, take
care of your home. Because I didn't. I didn't got

to be in defense. Who is why I say you're
everywhere I've listen everywhere I've communicated with man, this is bad.

trying to produce a high quality video stream, you must

got to accepting engrades, who you are, where you are,
how we operate in comparison to how the other side operate,
and count up your costs and take where you can

for our institutions. Right.

But one of the things that you mentioned, you say
it was not designed to all the profits. Well that's
going around it.

Look at it out of power.

All of those proms are not turning profits. No, they're
running deff If I remember correctly, it's only six institutions
that actually profit when it comes to athletics.

About making money when it is three or for a
working win, the football found that to come back and
they str skier when they put.

The stories would not be able to afford to play
out because they were not getting the playoffs. Right Now,
that's a revenue stream.

Then we're getting ready and how do you make up
that defference?

I really am, And so we don't script these things out.
It's just two minds beating together and just throwing it out.
But here's what I've been thinking. So everybody that I
have a nugget to it might not see any like
the good idea the sile of presentation, because it's a
bit premature. But we have in the bowl season countless

bowls or who care both for Ryan, right, we need
to restructure those bowl games and incorporate some of those
games on an FCS playoff experience to create some more
exciting matchups and funding support on the SCS member, because

some of these bowls that you can didn't even know exist.
They got teams that are making it quick five to
seven records, six and six records and nobody is looking
to attend. This is horrible. But you need to go
back to the drawing hoard and group up and and
and and report position some of these bowl games where

they can create an interest for their products and their
promoting and selling and help fund some of this FCS programming.
Now just HBCUs with the FCS as a whole. And
I think that's part of the movie. Coach, You know
that you know, well, you'll think it's great. I think
it's great. But we ain't making no decisions at the case.

You know that got us be a doorkeeper, Coach, but
somebody has to wake up and say, you know what,
we keep chasing this moving target. Yep, and it's it's
obvious they don't want us at the table. Yeah tell
oh yeah, by the way, you can do this, So yeah,
you guys want to hang out with us where you

all gonna have to commit to twenty million dollars for
a problem that we created. We said, okay, sign up.
What does that make sense anywhere else in the world.

Yeah, it does. It's gonna take it. It's gonna take
some people putting their heads together try to figure this
thing out. And it's been this way for a while.
They died coming because the damn coming where we would
no longer be able to use the football.

No, no, and we got to create our own vestigatory.
And another thing you addressed about this attendance, and I've
said this even from my beloved I think I mentioned
you did. I think I means it to bid because
when you look at it coaching, in the case of
fir where if you has a fifteen thousand scle class stadium,

max styles, I think it goes like seven hundred thousand
and twelve.

If you have nine thousand students on campus, okay, and
you got a fifteen thousand C students, that means you
are allotted roughly about six thousand tickets that you can
legitimately said okay, so that you got limited opportunity there
I understand you.

The more you be a I believe in simply a
reverse philosity. If you have a smaller venue, if you
have a competitive program, that ticket becomes a higher commodity,
even if that ticket of a hotter commodity. Okay, instead
of me charging I don't know, twenty dollars for a ticket,
I'm gonna have to and charge you thirty dollars because
it's limited ticket opportunities and I get a chance to
(31:12):
sell you and make a better profit. But we we
we got the cart in front of the horse coach.
We dig it, we build it. They'll come. Man, this
is not to kill the dreams. This is not to
kill the dreams. And so we we. But our students
are killing us. Our students are killing us. You want
(31:36):
to you want to travel, to go, show up and
have fun on somebody else's cabin, but you putting money
in their pocket. Take care of your home business, take
care of your home. Because I didn't. I didn't got
out that soap box, I got one, got on swack TV.

And despite what the problems may say, I'm actually going
to be in defense. Who is why I say you're
everywhere I've listen everywhere I've communicated with man, this is bad.
This is that buffer that swat TV is not the
problems I mean, what are you talking about. They don't

really take the issue where youse get stuck. No, they're
not the problem. Intrastructure is the problem. When you are
trying to produce a high quality video stream, you must
have the proper intrastructure to make it happen. We talked

about this, nil, we talked about the twenty point five
million dollars commitment. These institutions that make up the Southwestern
Athletic com Or going to have to find yet again
the funding to invest in the proper infrastructure to handle

the funnel necessary for a stable stream. Whether it's swack TV,
whether it was ESPN, whether it was the Digital net
networking YouTube, we have got to have a better that's

the bottom line, because that's got SWAT.

I agree, I agree, I agree. The investment has been made.
And you would think that he would already be your students.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Well, you've got two types of of Internet coach, you know,
because you know, I'm not an Internet expert, but I'm
gabbling in this stuff enough to know that the bit
rates and all that stuff per second. When it comes
to there to do research. The Internet is superb because

that's that's data. That's that's not where all of its data,
but there's PDR forms and a bunch of texts and things.
When it comes to audio streaming, it's more efficient than
video streaming. Okay, still requires a little bit of quality
of data than versus that of PDF searches. But you
(34:37):
can still manage a quality with an audio. But when
you get to the streaming piece and everything is an aced,
everything is at four K, and you got this angle
and that angle, then that is a lot. For lack
of a better term, it's right taking a jackar because

I've lined out the old three fifty seven Chevy Indian
coach hat a tot to go buy the gag or
bodies to put a Chevy Indie in and look like
you ride around in the gazpober. It ain't looking with
a Chevy looked up and dressed up nice right. A

trying to have a Cadillac now with a Pino motor.
It ain't gonna work. Code No, I can cruise. But
if I want, if I think I'm gonna get that

have the most robust system. And here's where I always
laughed because I've been fortunate enough to be in in
broadcasting for over thirty plus years of my life. And
people are always excited about the latest mails and whistles.

But if you don't have the proper infrastructure that the
seller is gonna sell you the latest bails and whistle
that's your problem. Once you get it and well what
do they work? Well, you got to do a better
episode what you're told me. Yeah, it's doing this part,
but you've got to do your part. And that's where
the gap is. And that's part of the educational piece

that our decision makers have to be understood standing on.

The concept of CV is still there and it's going
to work once they realize it's got to be tied
up on the infrastructure.

connection to get a good cell phone, because now you're
trying to add all this data necessary for a quality video.

Say, it's gonna amount of times it's not really location
because here we already know a lot of that, and
we're supposed to be a hot tab lazy and we
am all kind of you pons here.

Yes, sir, yes, sir. So if the cell phone gonna struggle,
your video's gonna struggle. But I want to be on record, coach.
I still believe that's why I keep you here is
the way to go.
