Speaker 1 (00:01):
And welcome to another episode of Yeah I said it
with being Jacket Mike.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
I am the radio guy, doctor Mike Prinz, Brother Ben,
brother Jack.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
How you guys doing today?
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Doing good?
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Sir?
Speaker 2 (00:15):
How about yourself? I dared not complain being how you
doing on that end? Man?
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Man? I felt like the old Praier View again, man,
like those uh oh.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Uh oh the old This is not supposed to be
the old Prairieview. Man.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
I know that's what they said. They lied they.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Well, hold on, who lied to you?
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Well, we'll talk about it.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
We'll talk about oh wow, well we got out the
gate a blaze and already, well.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
It's obvious it wasn't.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
A good weekend for the Panthers, went to Houston and
fell short to Rise final score thirty eight seventeen. Of course,
we'll talk about that over our picks this week and
make our picks for the week coming up, and just
do a little round table discussion. So I guess you'll
jump right into this thing, brother being. I'm interested to
(01:08):
hear your take on the game, sir.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Well, first, you know I've been doing the round on
the YouTube and that tub in this too. I just
want all of those profound people that say we are
the news. From the penalty and the way we're getting penalties.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Look like we still part at all.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Well, we didn't get ten, we got I think it
was seven eight tunnel twos or we got.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Some long head on steal. We still got some bone head.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Okay, okay, okay, brother White, what's your seaback, sir?
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Highly enough?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I have to kind of agree with my brother Ben,
you know, not kind of seeing some of the same
things we saw last year. So I haven't seen a
lot of change just yet.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
So okay, okay, Now let me ask you guys this,
do you think in this case, so I'm talking about
for this week only because then I agreed to disagree
that it wasn't upset last week? Do you think some
of the penalties and the struggles were because they were
playing up?
Speaker 3 (02:16):
You would think, well, I think if you were playing
up to me, that means you won the game. So
I'm gonna say we were playing down.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
No, no, no, no no.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
When I say playing up, I'm playing up because Rice,
although they're on the Lord Chief, there are an FBS program.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Oh no, I don't think they had nothing to do
with anything.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
From what I okay, and you feel the same way,
Brother White.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I had a discussion with my fat brother Ben a
couple of days ago, and I kind of agree with
them on some of the calls. When we had the
momentum where we could have easily gone up, you know,
fourteen or seventeen points or even twenty one to zero,
(03:02):
some of those calls did make some momentum change.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Okay, So then I guess we're gonna have an associate
letter grade this week. But before we get into that,
what's the letter grade breakdowns?
Speaker 2 (03:14):
T guys this week?
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Well, I guess I started last week. I'm gonna be
I guess one thing I'll say, Uh, Coach Remaine, I'm
still I'm still riding with you, but I'm still saying
we're about a CE minors. The best I saw was
the kicking game. I get a kicking game, you know,
(03:37):
A B plus everybody uh, everybody else minus? Okay, brother White,
I believe last week. I think my grade was a
B minus. I believe, But this week I kind of
have to do a little downgrade. Even though we had
less than a one hundred yards and penalties, which is
(04:00):
the press, I still have to say a fee.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Mine well, last week I was at a CNAs. I
gave a sea this week, and the.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Reason I did because they did score seventeen points on
an FBS program.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Although lower tier.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
They did show a little gump, But once again I
was you know, I kind of picked them to lose
this one anyway, but I did like something that I saw.
But as we're going to probably talk about a little
bit later on in this week's segment, back to the
walls right now to me literally in particular with the
(04:40):
next two weeks starting off with Northwestern State on the
home turf this coming weekend. But you saw some glimpse
right now. I think we got a question mark at
who's going to be the quarterback.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
I think.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I think we got several questions.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
And what are your questions, sir?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
I think I'll be respectful and that I would say
quarterback question marks, running back question mark, tight end. I
know there's no such thing as tight end back, but
tight end no where about. I know number eight he
did score, and I was thankful.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I was praying for.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
The tight end position. But I just feel like from
what I've seen the physical dimension, size, height of the
tight end, I just think that we could we could
get more out of that. So I don't know if
that's coaching or play calling, which that's coaching, but nowhere
about us tight end what whoever?
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Well, the fan base of TV Nation has been questioning
some of the play calling. Maybe then you gotta remember also,
and not that I'm trying to defend one way or
the other.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
This is still.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Technically uh, preseason like games, and you don't want to
reveal I guess too much before you get deep into
conference play. So maybe they could be reserved on some
of their play callings with the exception of the rules.
So when they opened up the gate against Texas, subjee,
maybe they're still trying to iron out a few kings.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Could be.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Uh. But again, I don't want to be uh Debbie Downer.
I still want to be the number one fan, but uh,
the play calling is to me very uh Vanilla. I
was gonna say j V high school wow. Wow.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
You know, one says Vanilla, the other says JV okay,
And I'm.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Just saying that comically. I mean, you know, I'm not
an oppensive coordinator, but I do believe until I see it,
I'm gonna keep on harping on it.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Oh type that.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
I think the double tight end formation would be a
lot better from protecting the quarterback position a little bit
compared to go on with the full wide out you
know concept. And I mean that's my only you know
right now, uh de turn, I think the two tight ends,
and uh when it comes to running back, I actually
(07:23):
thought in all of these YouTube who we brought in,
I haven't seen any uh no, I haven't seen any
flash of speed yet. I've seen more speed on the
(07:46):
defensive side of the football than I have on the office.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Side of the football.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
And so maybe you're right, you know, uh, mister historian,
maybe we're trying to hold all of the speed, you know,
until we get into like bramming game moving forward. Boy,
at a certain point, you know, if we don't have
any beat on the off thing, that's not a.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Good look, speaking of not a good look.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
And I know what made me chuckle out loud when
you just said something of being well, it's my deal,
and I'm gonna harp on it and keep on harping
on it, our heart, and we'll continue to harp on
attendance at home. Yeah, all Lord is right, All Lord
is right, But that attendance at rice University was pathetic
(08:37):
as the day is long.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
But the numbers say twenty two thousand, No.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Man, twenty two.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
If there were twenty two thousand in that area by
the stadium, not in the state, in that area, I'd
give you a thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Man, it was not twenty two.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Thousand people, Well, you have me a thousand dollars because
with all of those hotskols was around right, there were
definitely where.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
They should have wheeled them jokers into the stadium or something, man,
because that was absolutely pathetic.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Man. But a good thing about it, huh uh huh,
that said.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
The only good thing about that, hold on you over
talking to me now, hush, Well, only good thing about it.
They got three hundred and fifty thousand dollars, which was
in comparison to what they got last year from going
to Lansing, Michigan to play Michigan State. And you didn't
have to travel as far, didn't have to burn up
all your money on travel and lodging. So at least
(09:34):
she got that little, nice little tay in camp. But man,
that was horrible.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I also want you to know that because you always
complain about the bookkeeping when it comes to stack and
you always want to throw shade on a particular school,
and they bookkeeping, but apparently the swag is no different
than whatever Conference Rights rights is because their bookkeeping, I
would agree. I didn't know where twenty they had to
(10:05):
be in the hospital.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
It had to be in the hey man, they mus
been counting the homeless or something, because everybody took shelter.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I didn't see nobody that that did. Man, that was
that was bad. That was bad. But you know they're counting.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
The tuition, the tuition tickets, the tuistion.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Many don't I think they only have like seven eight
thousand students there. So no, I don't know where you
got twenty two thousand from. They must have been in
the Make a Wish Foundation or something.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Because this this was horrible. This is horrible. But that's
like I said, that's neither that's neither here or there.
Uh So the overall assessment, then you gave a C minus.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Jack, you gave a C minus. I gave a C
this week. Now we're gonna go over unless we got
anything else. Y'all guys want to talk about this or
we're gonna look forward to the Northwest one.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
We're gonna do our picks. First, do our pigs, then
cover northwest, which where y'all want to go on this.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
That's gotta pig bird, and then.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
We'll go to you want to feel a little better
about We don't want to.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Actually, I don't know why he wants to go to
picts because he's still struggling.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Oh h just reconstraint brother Jack, and and and and
why you're talking.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Don't let me get on your you know, your little record.
He'll go kick her yesterday, so you need you need
to quick.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Oh not personal. You're not talking about no NFL. We
ain't talking about n NFL stuff.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Leaves Broncos alone, the little Broncos alone.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Man, Yeah, boy, always hit under the belt, man.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
Below the belt.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
The listeners don't realize I'll be trying to the belt
behind the head.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Oh he's just go on, sit him downstairs moment. Come on,
brother White, come.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
On, all right, since being wanted, since Ben wanted to
know the picks, Uh yeah, let's start the pick.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
This this week, we we all three of us did
pretty well. Prince was eleven and one and picks.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
I tied him with eleven and one and then Ben's
coming into rear at ten and two. Yeah, you just
you're just happy that the GENI came back in overtime.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
So he hey, bro, whatever whatever it's going to take.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, I know I am down.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Hey hey what whatever it takes, brother, whatever it takes,
whatever it takes. And uh uh as as as as
the d L say, party on.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
But good week, then good week, over the week, good week, man,
nice try nice, try on that.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Kentucky, Kentucky sak No, he.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Almost for the rabbit after hat and now because I
was like, god, lord Grambley, what are y'all doing?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
What are y'all doing? What are y'all doing?
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah, it's all good, right, it's all good.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
So the over overall totals myself because it is number
one at twenty eight and four, okay, Prince is right
behind me at twenty seven and five okay, and and
uh in the rear pulling upwenty six.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Well, I wish I had I wish I had a
sound of flicker, you know what.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
But you know what, let's try this, let's try this.
Let's see what this is. He just got shot out
the air boy.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
It's only laughing, it's only.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
I know it. I knew it. I knew it. I
knew it. I knew it.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
There you Okay, I'm funny, but you know it ain't.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Okay, that's why we take it.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
You only a few picks behind you, only a few
picks behind the redemption this week.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Man, you know already, y'all.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Y'all go with all the favorites anyway, good.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Man, Oh there you go, there he go. Okay, Okay, well,
well he's.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Doing all that hig I mean, okay, Okay, we'll see
how it picks come out this week.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Okay, okay, we got me if I'm wrong, this week,
we only we only have four let's take four different
matchups this week.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Okay, a couple of buyes going on, right, Let's let's
see what we got here.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Okay, we're going with our first matchup. We had Edward
Waters at the then Cookman.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
I'm taking before, will cook me wildcats please?
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Mm hmm?
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Wildcats for me as well?
Speaker 4 (15:44):
What's that being?
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I said?
Speaker 2 (15:47):
You cook? Okay, put that cheese sheet down.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
We hear you wrappling this cheat sheet over there.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
I'm looking at the status that's say no, yeah, a
little too much noise, but uh, okay, we're going to
the next game. We have the Lane versus Alabama and
and him.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Give me Alabama and Alabama and him please Alabama go
going through them. Status. Now you're gonna have to rauty
your papers a little quiet or please.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Oh that's y'all.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Okay, somebody rallying some papers.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Okay, it sounds like you're underwater or something. I don't
know what's going on. But our next matchup, we have
East Texas A and M versus Grambling.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Give me the g men. I'll take the GM as well,
but that Grammy yeah a Gramley, Yeah, they.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Just barely I'll take of the GMN.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
And last but not least, we have the marquee match
up Northwestern State at the prestigious.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Prayer View A and M University. Man, I'm nervous about
this game. Lord, I'm nervous. My heart is telling me
to pick the Panthers at home. And earlier in the
preseason I figured they was going to struggle between I
(17:30):
thought there's gonna beat UT and I said they might
let Northwestern vital. But since we hey, hey, I'm working
on this, uh loser, let me man, I'm taking the
Tamps at home.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Well, let them quarterback this thing.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
There.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Yeah, okay, uh, you just remember this here, that's what
you remember. Oh Lord, give me the Panthers, Give me
the Panthers.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Man, okay, we do.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
We need to give a score.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
We need to give a score for the Panthers game too, right, Yeah, what's.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
Man?
Speaker 2 (18:13):
I said twenty seven twenty one.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Until I see a little better, I'm gonna give the
Panthers twenty seven and fourteen this week against Northwestern?
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Okay, man out.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Pev twenty eight eighteen.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Okay, fifteen?
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Yeah, okay, y'all are a little more optimistic than me.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
I say we I say we top out.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
At twenty one points twenty one fourteen.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Well you said that like you was about to pick Northwestern. No,
I'm gonna te me no, no, no, you said, let's
go off the Michigan I am, but I'm oh, oh,
as far as as.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Far as it's scoring.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
As far as it's scoring, y'all, y'all think we can
score more. I'm thinking we're having trouble putting points.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
On the boards. Well, how about score enough? This is
scored enough to win?
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Huh? They just lost seventy.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Okay, they were playing a big ten opponent, too. Well,
you know what we we we be.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Okay, okay, okay, Now when you when you look, when
you look at this, of course Northwestern broke through losing
streak against.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
A squack opponent. In all corn State.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Would set the tone, get them a little pusser if
you would. They played an obvious money game. I'm a
little concerned that we uh come out the gates, that
we don't come out the gates flat like we did
against ut That to me, then you talk about the
(20:03):
coaching and the culture changed this that, and that's going
to be extremely important to the fast start this week
against the demons of Northwestern State.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Mm hm.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Oh you don't agree with that?
Speaker 3 (20:19):
No, no, no, I was thinking, so, what do you
suggest that come up early?
Speaker 1 (20:25):
I can I can't suggest that he do anything but
that they execute because you know we could. We can
harp on the coaching and you know coaching is part
of the problem, but the guys got to get out
and execute. You gotta be focused at all times against
all opponents, no matter what the level they're on. SBS
(20:47):
UH S C, S N A, I A. You gotta
go in there and take care of the business and mandate.
I'm curious on who's going to be at the quarterbacking
position starting out this week with well, you're the scout being,
you're the extra coach, what's your assessment of the quarterbacking situation?
Speaker 3 (21:08):
At first, I.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Think the young man the notes again.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Now.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
I guess me and man, you must hear my brain.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Just turning the page or something. I think the young
man that that came in and played against right, I
just think if he could just get some more stability
on the line, that he could perform better. But at
the same time that I'm not the coach. That's that's
coach coaches job. I don't want to just keep only
(21:44):
getting a dead uh fly. He said that whoever the
team wins over the team is gonna be the quarterback.
And so right now it looks like even though he
said that maybe had two quarterbacks that was cheating on
their homework assignment and they got the same grade of
(22:04):
a seventy five.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Okay, how are you ranking the quarterbacks? I know what
coach says, I know what he says. The team said,
how are you ranking the quarterbacks?
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Sir? Who do you think gives us the best chance
to win? Well, I was seeing that I was to say, sir,
well like you was telling me to get you a point.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Okay, well, if he let me finish. I would like
to see the young man for full shirt, the red
shirt freshman, I would like to see, if he's still
on the team. I think he is. You're talking about
Timothy Barrington. Yeah, I would like to see.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
The young man from La Fiette from you of.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Ah, because unfortunately he did get injured if I'm not mistaken,
like the first one or two games and we never
saw him again. So I would like to see one
of them. At this point, I can't say I'm just
being on any other quarterbacks that I've really seen. I've seen,
(23:04):
you know, uh Conley, and he does throw a good
ball if they're blocking. I've seen the other young man.
You know, he's able to throw the ball and you know,
can get the first down with his legs. But at
a certain time that Peters or Carter with the first one.
I'm talking, but I kind of wouldn't mind seeing the
(23:25):
fresh one just to see, you know what he has
h Now.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
That's just me and you, grouther White.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
I've seen Peters and I've seen Carter. It seems like
the offense moves a little better with Carter, and it
seems like Carter has a little more speed than Peters
m hm.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
So we can't coach speed, so I would have.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
To go with Carter, Okay, okay, okay, And at this
point I'm going to pick on you know, uh and
maybe heck using what both of them on the fields
at the same time to add a threat of a
double pass situation, to add a wrinkle of two to
the situation.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
But I think the line has to get.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Whoever's going to be back there enough time to go
through progressions and execute the plays. So I think it's
more of an interior deal than actual quarterback per se.
And I guess they've been going with their a quarterback
can handle them or deal with the heat better under stress.
But right now, I think it's something that needs to
(24:40):
be fine tuned on the line up front.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
That's just my assessment.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
And we're still somewhat in the preseason, right, would you think? Right?
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Right?
Speaker 1 (24:51):
You know, even though you want to win every game, okay,
but I'd rather take these non conference losses than to
get beat up on in conference play.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Yeah, And so that's read I'm suggesting on the young
man from you of age other pressman, because this will
be the last pre season game we have, and as
I discussed with you earlier, friends, I actually think, coach,
this is a must win now.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
It's you know, I'm a little I'm a little shut
back hearing you say that. You know, no, no, no, no,
no no, not not in a bad way, in a
shocking way. On why now do you feel like this.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Is a this is a must win game?
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Well, I mean, as I brought to your attention, I
think going into actually full swat football now, I'd rather
go in on a winning note than to be three
games on a losing note. Still have an uncertainty on
the quarterback situation still for me, not feeling comfortable with
the tight end and the blocking situation. I'll just feel
(25:58):
more comfortable when I get to travel to see my family.
You know, in a couple of weeks in Dallas, knowing
that we won the game heading into the the labor
they class, not the Labor Day, the comparative going into
the game, and we would have lost three consecutives.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Jack, what's your chack on what's your check on it? Jack?
Speaker 3 (26:22):
I'm close to saying it's must winning as well, just
for just for the optics. And when I say optics,
i'm talking about, you know, new coach like being had
mentioned earlier the number of transfers. We got twenty plus
transfers just and then all the you know, the early
(26:43):
season hype, all the hype and all that. So with
those type of those three things right there alone, I'm
thinking it's almost a must win game. Well, I'm kind
of looking at this thing as a half full versus
half empty. And the reason I'm saying to kind of
piggyback off with you're saying being.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Technically speaking, we would be coming into conference with a
wind street being that we won the label they classic
against Sex or Southern did we want to win and
not to recount that they're going.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
To lose against Northwestern.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
But if they do lose against Northwestern, yeah, it could
be slightly of a Debbie downer.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
But you've gotten some of your kinks out.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Now you can go full disclosure playbook when you face
up against Grammlin. But we do have to get past
these demons first. And I'm not as critical as it
would be, but I do want to see some execution.
I want to see a little bit more discipline and
like I said, I want to see a better trench
(27:42):
play from the line on both sides, offense and defense
before I get now as far as here go being
here's my bentually, I got three at the grab bag
that I go to. As far as the casual fan
attention and interest, if we lose this game, I think
(28:05):
it's going to be real critical for the remaining of
the season, in particular after the State Fair Classic on
local home game attendance.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
If we stumble again at home, I think.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
You'll really lose the local yoakams if you would of
coming out and supporting the Fancus. So I can see
the critical aspect from that part, But for the overall
team gameplay, not just yet.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Uh huh. It's a Muslin game in some right.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Bottom line, it's just a must win game right then there.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
That's where it came back. See I was thinking, you know, uh,
I'm here and below the belt. But see with Jack
I Ray being in the Pootie Bowl with that eleven
and one, I need them to win. So I can
still feel confident in you know my eighty four right now,
let me man that has been flushed and White.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Town and well it was flush when he announced it,
so it wasn't that wasn't no big deal. You know.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Look, look, let me give a shout out. Let me
give him a shout out to Brother Isaiah. He's a
regular listener. It was the one couple of weeks ago,
as was our rooting for TV. I'm not rooting for
him to fail at all. But you know, come on, y'all,
let's keep it real. There are certain things when when
brother White said eleven and one, I know, y'all said, man,
what is her own?
Speaker 2 (29:43):
And let me have some of that? You know, but
it's like this all good, huh.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
We can't.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
He just can't.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
From the doctor.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
He had just come from the doctor. He was still
on some of the men. We don't want to.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Tell him, you know, since he is real right now,
we don't want to see with him.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Right. Look, but leave that we alone, man, leave it alone.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Y'all just caught me on the y'all just caught me
on a good day.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Oh lord, the being tried to help you tried to
throw your line, brother lifeline and like you not, this
is being.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Recorded, right you know, you know you can't. You can't
go back and change these things, right well, eleven one
eleven one. Yeah, that's it. That's my final answer. All right, sir,
you heard it.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Hey, yeah, I was definitely believing the hype. I was
believing the hype and drinking the cooler. I was okay, okay, well,
you know, don't don't guzzle this time. Just take SIPs
and make sure you got enough sugar for it to
go down well. But nonetheless, the Panthers will be back
in action this week against the Northwestern State Demons representing
(30:59):
the South when Conference, another critical South one matchup. We've
got to do well if we're going to you know,
bolster you know, not only attendance, but winning in games
outside of conference play. And that game, of course, will
be at six pm Central Standard time. You can listen
live on the open Mic Broadcast Network YouTube channel and
(31:22):
it will be coming to you, as they say, live
and living color. And we're truly, truly thankful to the
Purview Athletic Club, the Temple of Refuge Ministries, and our

than twenty dollars you had deliberedy to do so, or
you might be a looked down say I can't handle
twenty dollars. Whatever you can is going to make a
difference and it's going to be truly, truly appreciated. We
also want to let you know that you can go

to listen. And for those who want to act like
you're not listening, it's being provided. Thanks thanks to you
to God or thanks to Historian Prince and Madam Prince,

(33:43):

they wouldn't be able to listen to the game if
they didn't come.
Speaker 2 (33:52):

Act I appreciate it. Is all those your closing pons
for the week.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
Oh no, no, sir, I got some more closes.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
We almost snuck it past them.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
I thought we got it. I thought we got them.
I'll tell you what what we're gonna do. Huh, Jack,
you might want to go first. I say we're gonna
let Jack have his closing thoughts, then we'll come back
to Ben. How about that all right?
Speaker 3 (34:30):
So Mighty Panthers, Panther fans, players, students, alumni. All right,
we're going into our next week and we home game
coming up against Northwestern. We need to keep our momentum
and spirits high. Let's uh, let's get the tennis numbers
up and uh let's get out there and rule our
(34:53):
Panthers so we can get ready for conference games, the
State Fair and such other games after that. So everybody, uh,
let's keep the momentum going and go Panthers.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
All right, then floor is yours man, Thank you, sir.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Coach. I'm still waiting on that invitation to come to practice.
You know, I've been doing my uh my chalk work
and my play calling and everything, so I'm just waiting
for two things I want to bring to the attention. Coach.
I need you to work on that that that tackling dummy.
Uh so here is uh is this Monday or chief? Okay?
(35:31):
But Monday, Monday, yeah, Monday, So coach, I need us
to work on that cackling dumb Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday. We don't need a day out this week.
We need to work on that tackling dump. That's number one.
Number two coach, I need you to talk to that
special team's coach of yours. There's no need, no need
(35:52):
at all, no need at all for us to rush
the pauma this week. We just need to line up
and prepare to run the ball there. We don't need
to rush the punter at all. We can just line
up prepare for the return. We do not need any
(36:13):
five yard get ten your oppunities for running into the kick. So, coach,
if you could do those two things therefore, I would
really appreciate it. Let's work on that tackling dummy, and
let's tell the session just prepare for the repurring kiss.
We do not need to run into the kicker this week.
And then that last one wide receiver practice with the
(36:40):
football go to whatever the machine with the balls is
then throng to you. When practice is over, put an
extra five or teen minutes in and just catch the
ball five or ten minutes. As I tell my daughter
all the time, if you finish your homework, put another
extra five ten minutes in, and I promise you that
when it's test time the next day, you'll pay it.
(37:02):
So if you can do those three things, fun me, coach,
I really appreciate it in Gold.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
Panthers, Gold Panthers, Where you heard it from Brother Ben.
