Speaker 1 (00:01):
And welcome back to another episode of A Yeah I
said it with Ben, Jack and Mike. I am the
radio guy, Doctor Mike Prince. I wanna say welcome to
brother Ben and brother Jack. How you guys doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Man, I'm gonna find sir.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
They wanna get it there?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
All right?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Doing good? Well, it's time for the rubber to meet
the road. We got all the prelims out the way,
with the exception of the Labor Day Classic. For now on,
everything is going to count. We're gonna give an assessment
of our last I guess can technically called it a
preseason non conference game against the Northwestern State Demons. We'll

(00:43):
give out the letter grades. I don't know if you
guys wanna go a overall grade, you wanna break it
down back categories, however you wanna get it started. We'll
kick the ball off right now and the doors wide open.
As I said, the doors of the church are open.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Okay, Jack, what was your report?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
But my overall grade is a C plus.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
I like the fact that, uh, we responded anytime that
you know, Northwestern I believe, yeah, they scored first and
we responded, and I give a see because special teams
you know, we missed the extra point and as far

(01:37):
as penalties, uh, trying to see if you're under does
anyone know if we're under a hundred?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Hunt?

Speaker 5 (01:46):
We were, okay, so that was a plus as well.
That's why I sayd C plus.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
I'm glad that mcdowalad's back.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
So the running game, the Marine game is a I guess,
more robust than before. So I'm thinking if we take
this what we've done in this past game and take
it to Dallas, we can go ahead and give Grambling

(02:15):
another L like we did like we gave him last year.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Okay, Okay, I gave him a C for overall performance.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Brother me number one fan gave them a minus.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Okay, any details on that C and B minus.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Well, I'm still looking huh. I'm sorry, no, no, I'm
still looking for that wild factor, that wild moment. You know.
Once again, I'm thankful for the win, uh and anyway
you can get them, you can get them. But I'm
looking for a little bit more signature and authority and

(03:00):
executed and yeah, they did respond, but I thought the
game was too close for comfort. So that's why I
gave it a CE.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Okay. So when you say wow, just just asking would
the running game that have been a while for.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
You or I said overall? I said overall, while sir, okay,
I'm not I want. I'm looking for full throttle.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, I want.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
That's out of that, right, So Jack, they actually they
were four for fifty a fo tennity were concerned. So
we did cut down on the counity. And I do
agree somewhat. I think we did get a wild I've
never seen maybe you know, mister Hesterian, you can attest
to this. I've never seen them have running a rushing

(03:48):
yard in the three hundred and fifty you.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Know, plus George, Uh, you've never seen that.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I said, praise time.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I praise Yeah, you've never said. Okay, you don't remember
job the ab, I.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Said, mister Vitorian, So I don't recall. I guess you're
saying that that it could have happened.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Ye Have we ever had five hundred yards plus total?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Okay, so then it has happened for so I think
for me the wild would be, uh, what are we
going to do?

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And the word on the street is sometimes as a coach,
we can.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Be a little foolish in that the running game is
working but we just continue to want to pass the bar.
So I think the wild was the running, and I
think the game could have been less close here, for instance,
at least two passes, but I could definitely say more
passes than that. If we wouldn't be passing the balls
and just would have kept on running, I think that

(04:52):
would have definitely eliminated one of those interceptions that was
in the anson for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
M hmmm, h no you should, but I.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Would give it up be minus again.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Uh. I think uh, somewhere in the text message or
the phone calls or the delivery, you know, we did
not rush the corner all out. We were basically just like, hey,
let them hide the ball, let's get the ball, and
we do. We just there was not even a possibility
of rushing the kick for this this week. So I

(05:28):
was very thankful of that. So I'm kind of glad
that those parts to be listened to somebody. I won't
say listen to me, but listen to somebody I'm also
thankful for. Again, it's the historian. I forgot their defensive back.
They used to put the stick them on their hand
for the raiders. But apparently yeah, apparently, uh, he must

(05:50):
have sent on in the locker room because the rograceivers
they did not drop as many passes on this game
as they did previously. And then I definitely want to
give a kudos to that office at Lina. If I
could have, I think one of your counterparts, he know
who he is, was talking about some chicken wings. If

(06:11):
I could bring some chicken wings and pass them out
to those defense ave linement, I definitely would do that
because man, they were making some holes that I feel
like I could have ran through.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
So if they can continue to do that, I think
that should ball pretty good.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
For Okay, Okay, so I guess well C plus C
and B minus that's kind of in the same neighborhood,
you know, So everybody agreed that there is room for.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Improvement though, yes sir, yes sir, for sure.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Definitely.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Okay, Okay, now we got we got the grades out
for this past week's performance. Uh, you want to go
over our picks from last week, Jack, and then Charlie
where we are going to make our picks for this week?

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, last week was, like we said, we only had
four games, so.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Looking at it, everybody, uh, follow that train, right, follow
the train.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Everybody went four and oh, so we have an overall
total of myself thirty two and four at the first place,
Doctor Prince thirty one and five in second place, and
being coming up the rear.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
At thirty and six. Okay, so everybody jockey in for
their position. So I guess the games will begin this week.
What's the first matchup, sir? And how we gonna pick them?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
The first matchup Saturday at two pm. You got the
Thune Cookman at home hosting Alabama A and M.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
I'm taking Alabama A and M.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Sure I'm taking them off of the Bulldogs all the
way across.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Okay, let's see.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
The next matchup we have is Alabama State on the
road to Florida.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
A and MS. I'm taking Alabama State.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
I'm taking the Hornets as well.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I'm gonna go with an upset because I'm getting tired
of hearing the god bid, so I'm going on.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
With the raptors.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Okay, okay, all right, and see all right.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
Our next matchup we have PSU on the road at
Mississippi Valley State.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Give me yeah, I'm taking Texas Southern.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I'm gonna go with another upset.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
Well, I don't know if this will be an upset,
but I'm gonna take Mississippi out.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Next we have Arkansas pine Bluff at all Corn State.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
I thought all Corn was going to Pine Bluff. It's
just the vice direction Tennessee. Oh yeah, yeah, that's right,
that's right, that's right. Yeah, But I think Pine Bluff
is gonna sust the home team.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Right well, according to this one, according to distances, all Corn.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Either way, I'm taking Prime Bluff.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Okay. Uh, it's a tough one.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
I want to go with all Corn coming off the snide.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Okay, chick up another game.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
All right, let's see our next matchup.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
We have Jackson State at Southern Give me Jackson State.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Yes, sir, roll five road time?

Speaker 3 (10:07):
All right.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
In the marquee matchup at the one hundredth State Fair
Classic game, we have Grambling going against the Mighty Panthers.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
In the Cotton Bowl. I'll take Prairie View, please.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
EVU all day for me. I'm gonna take the team
that will only have suppers wins.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Okay, we're doing this over under for this game.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
We can. I'm picking the game to be twenty seven seventeen.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Seventeen, twenty seven seventeen, so that's one of them. That's
forty four. Oh, so you're going under four. So you
would go out forty four and a half. That would

(11:17):
be your number.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Like Ben, my number would be forty four.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Straight up, forty four straight up, twenty seven to seventeen.
I like that number.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Don't steal it.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
Don't steal it.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Well, it's not stealing. Don't borrow he said, you all
over that one.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
I'm going thirty one twenty eight panes.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
See, I'm thinking of a three point margin, but I'm
thinking more than twenty seven, twenty four, twenty seven, twenty four.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
I don't want to close it out.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
I mean, I don't want it close, but I think
it's want to be close.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Ten points are closing up.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
I'm still looking for that wild factor on all you know,
all cylinders clicking, man, I'm just I'm just anticipating that moment.

Speaker 7 (12:19):
I well, I've been doing a comparison and I don't
know how you guys are gonna feel about this, but
quarterbacking edge, I'm giving a slight advantage to Grambling.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
I'm giving a running game to Prairie View. I'm giving
receivers tight ends to Grambling, and I'm giving defense a
slight advantage to Prairie View and the special teams is
a pick them for me? The what about what about coaching? Yeah, uh,
that's a pick them too for me.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Why I would put the receiver tight end and they
kick them off about that would go? H? I think
what will be the tail for for the tail tale?
I will think is the offensive line for praise you
if they if they open them holes like they did,
that's gonna farewells. And I think if the defensive line

(13:15):
can just kind of hold down the run. Again, this
should be no secret coach, if you're doing your due
diligence a week out.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Like I'm doing mine. They already said he said is
the one Uh what do you call it?

Speaker 4 (13:33):
When he looked one way, that's all he's gonna do.
He's not gonna look at second and third option. So
we just need to protect that third option. Uh, and
then make sure that we're aware that he will easily
take out running, So just have someone to spy him.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
And when we hit him, you know, put a little
extra you know, panther. Yeah, we're extramall.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
An extra extra mally for the black Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Uh, but I think we just you know, keep him Uh,
then we should be find.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
I now go ahead.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
I was just thinking, Uh, who whoever wins the the
penalty the penity battle, that's gonna be huge, and then.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Off of the turnover battle.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
I think those two will will play an important part
on who wins the game.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Well, I definitely am a firm believer if you can
maintain your penalties, you give yourself a better chance of winning,
you know, because you're not giving up free yards, and
especially my theory of one hundred yards is equivalent to
giving up six points. So definitely going to be monitoring that.
But I do have a very interesting over under I

(14:51):
want to run by you guys, you know, you know
being said, this is one of my three that I
reached to for content creation. What's the over under of
attendance for this game?

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Well, you know, that's really interesting.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
I actually kind of threw that out there on someone
else's show because again they have some disbelief, like somebody
that I know also, and the word on the street
is they're anticipating a high seventy number.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Okay, so what's your over under anything?

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I'm the study.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Seventy thousand off. Yeah, so you're anticipating seventy thousand this weekend.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
They're anticipated more than seventy thousand or anything under or so.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
So you're telling me you're anticipating seventy thousand this weekend.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
I'm anticipating seventy thousand point plus one. Anything above this.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
I'll give you one hundred dollars if they give seventy thousand,
I promise I'll give you a hundred dollars.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
Well, no, I'm not betting with you right now.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
No, it's not a bet. I will give that to you.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
I have enough weight. What did you give it to me?

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yeah, I'll give it to you if I think it. Yeah,
because I would love to see that. The promoter a
wash would love to see that. The apex that it
ever reached was sixty five thousand, you know, and I
would love to see seventy thousand plus at their game.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
You know the attendance number from last.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Year it was fifty two fo Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
All I know is I actually pose that this week,
out of all of the games that that would be played,
which one do you think will have the most attended
And believe it or not, they thought the Praise Grammar
game would have more people in the team.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Well, of course, because it's it's at the stay Fair.
Here's my question, guys, and please take off your purple
and go old glasses. When I asked you this, if
these games were played home and home on the campuses,
would it have the slavery that it has to stay
fair class, it would not. Okay, not to that. Okay,

(17:11):
I do believe, I do.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Let me don't mind disclaiming, I said, father, I do
believe that the people from PRAISEE would probably drive to Grammar.
But I'm not bashing grammar at school. I don't know
what they would do as far as coming to Praise.
So again, when I heard the names they talk about
the Praise attending, I do believe that PRAISEE bout four

(17:34):
they are more venturing outs.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Currents compared to the past.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
When you say venturing our you're talking about like going
to other campuses.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
Well, I can only just compared to the ones I
know of, the Family game, the Jack and Stay games,
the Southern No, No, that would be other camps.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah, that's the other campuses. And that's you know, we
know stand that.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
That's your head and your rant point.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
But the point I was making is I don't think
it would be to the magnitude of the Dallas game.
But I do think that there would be people supporting
going to Grantland.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Counter prick.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Okay, So then with with with that being said, last
week's attendance for support at forty five hundred and he's laughing.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
No, I just knew it was gonna come, you know.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Well, I mean I felt like the hell was coming
from some where.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
I heard bouncing out my room right now.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
I knew something.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Okay, Okay, no, go ahead, all because we're talking about it.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
You said it was a disappointment. I agree with that.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Man, that is a disappointment, Okay.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
I mean we talk about everything so that we cannot
not talk about that ea, even though I right, but I.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Mean I'm tired of hearing about it because I'm tired
of experiencing that. You know that it's it's it is
a thorough disappointment, and I don't see how we can
gloss over it like it's not an issue.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Well, let me ask you a question, and because again
I told you I thought it was really bad. But
hypothetically we can't go back to the teacher or in
the past.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Do you think the fact that we lost the first
home game that that was almost sorry.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Do you think it's because we lost the last game
that took some of them sale out of the wins?
So fans is kind of like, I don't know what's
going on.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Okay, I know that's that's an excuse, because let's go
back to the original game, the UT game. You just
came off of thrilling win over you're Ryan, and the
attendance was lackluster.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Correct, it was.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
It was raining. It was raining at Texas something. They
showed up and a lot of people. You show up, man,
you have twenty two thousand people. You had twenty two
thousand people at the game.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
But I do think again, answer your question, I don't
think that the number would be to that magntine.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Matter of fact, I assume you used the historian.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
You would know better man that if they got sixty thousand,
Preview would definitely love it. I don't know what the
capacity of the Grammar Stadium would be, but I assume
they would love it out.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Well, Well, here here's where the three card Monte game
comes to play, right, because this year, this year, Prairie
View is the home team, and if it's seventy thousand,
sixty thousand and fifty thousand. They'll take that number and
plug it into the total home attendance for these lackluster

(21:07):
games played on campus. Then they give you an average.
Well prove you averages twelve thousand a game per home attendance.
And that's hogwash, man, that's deceptive. You can get locked
up for that. That's called fraudulents.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Yeah, I agree with prints.

Speaker 5 (21:25):
When US went in the last second, you know, walk
off against TSU. If there is any motivation, you know
that game alone. Should have should have put some seats
in the stands when we played Rio Grand, but it didn't.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Uh, And I don't know about going to jail per se.
But if they get all of the proceeds game for
the home games, and they get all of the proceeds
for those who attend the home games, and a subject
that I really couldn't stand back in lay, particularly when

(22:04):
you add up all the games you divided by the number,
and that the average.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
The average is the average.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
But they're not getting all the proceeds. They just get
credit for the attendance.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Well, I think also they do. I'm not gonna get
into the all four, but they.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Do get in. They do receive more of the proceeds
insoid the home teams, No.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
They split, they get a split because it's a State
Fair Classic, it's a neutral cited game. Okay, they get
a split. So so what I'm saying is if you
put those kind of numbers up on your taxing income tax,
you're going to jail because there's there's theft that's fraudulent

(22:47):
and there's nowhere around that.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
You know, but.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
No, we don't, well, we don't want nobody to go
to jail, but there's there's a crime being committed. Because
if man, there's no way almost said something that would
not even be appropriate on this program. If it was
forty five hundred people at that game is past weekend, man,
please please, it might have been forty five hundred crickets, but.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
You know, people, you're not comparing people to cricket people.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Just in case, I'm just saying that there was not
forty five hundred people there at that game, man, And
don't I don't care what you try, how you try
to spend that you could be the number one saying
the a number one fan. That is a lie. If
you count band members, if you count players, and the

(23:46):
people understand you didn't have forty five hundred people. That's well,
and that's a problem. But we're gonna show up. And
and I has come to the bottom line because you
like to you know, compare sometimes you.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Know, no, no, no, you like to bring it up.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
No, no, But well, well, the fan base is like
CM church members. They show up for Christmas, Mother's Day
in Eastern and when they show up, they got their
best on. They want to act like they're important and
hob nobby and then you don't see them for the
other Sundays. And that's what the fan base is like.

(24:28):
And that's the bottom truth. Fair Weather sickled. You know
that it's just not there. It's just not there. And
you can't say because the team is losing. The team
has been producing, the team has been competitive, the team

(24:48):
has been in the mix. The people are not shown
up and the same people they they they'll dry to
Houston to go to the club, pay whatever cover charge,
they're gonna pay, beat up the gas, whatever they're gonna do.
They'll go to Jackson, they'll go on the road, but
won't show up at home. That's just like having a

(25:13):
wife and you don't pay attention to it. Then Charlie
want a data then you wanna fight Charlie, pay attention
to your own woman, But let me get on, move
on down the road. Uh yeah, because it's it's it's frustrating, man.
These kids are busting their tails out there. They give

(25:36):
it all they got. They're representing that university and it's
it's it's a lackless, piss poor attendance.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Man.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
There's just no other way for it. There's no other
way for it, and we need to stop making excuses
for it. It's embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Agreed.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Yeah, I ain't got nothing to say this week. That's okay, though,
that's okay.

Speaker 6 (26:08):
You just said enough so you know, I mean my
boss and they know your I need them to say, hey.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
He's his words.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Okay, Okay, we'll try.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
We've all tried with different solutions and promotions, and well.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
We got and we got to keep trying and we got,
which means we got to keep talking about it and
we got to keep addressing it. Just like being you,
you're adamant about you said, man, the swack TV is horrible. Yeah,
it's a struggle, but it's going to get better. But
it don't mean we don't talk about it. Don't mean
we don't. We don't address the elephant in the room.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Well, I don't think we talk about that as much
as we talk about this.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Okay, well we can talk about that. We can talk
about that.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
But the point was made. You asked the question the
over and on sure, what do you think? And I
said seventy And I'm gonna say sixty nine is the under?

Speaker 1 (27:08):
You said seventy plus? You already you're on the record
for seventy plus.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
On me, I still say seventy years. I'm saying anything
under seventy that sixty nine.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
So, uh, that is, that is what the reach is.
And yeah, that is what the reach is.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
And I show I show hope they can exceed that.
That would be a great thing.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
Expectly if you're gonna go with right, it would definitely
go well for praise.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Since as a haunt.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Kaper, Oh yeah, boost the numbers up right.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
Did anyone recall who was in concert last year?

Speaker 3 (27:50):
I think it was a record I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
I know what's his name, the.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Guy from Florida, but uh uh, the big guy pit,
big big extra plug.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
No, okay, I don't know what you're talking about. Rick Ross,
is what I'm trying to say.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Rick Ross was last year.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
That's right, Rick Ross. Okay, so you think.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
TLC will pull, will pull more than Rick Ross.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
I don't think. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
I think it is interesting that they're saying they're they're
having a farewell tour, so they're trying to use.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
The game farewell hill. I thought they was already gone.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
That's because you're not going to the games.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
But anyway, we'll be that alone.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
But they're staying a farewell tour, so they're using it,
I guess as free advertisements.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
To kick out there.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
I'm not now I sound like you're signing to throw
a dig at me. I'm not going to the games.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
No, I'm not trying to dig at all. I'm just
talking about the number.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
So well, the number, well, I don't I don't go
to TLC concerts, but I do attend games. I do
support games.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
But I will say is hopefully they, you know, can
hit that number and even to pass the number.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
I really want to know, because again not because of
the historian on this how but just people across the board.
They love to talk about previews, numbers and.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
So forth and so on. So I'm really just interested
to see what the numbers.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
Are going to be period and the game that Praview
is playing again are playing in along with when you
think of.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
This Southern Jackie State, it'll be interesting to see.

Speaker 6 (29:30):
How we compare with that number.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
No, it won't, No, it won't. No, it won't. I'm
gonna tell you why. I'm gonna tell you why. I'm
gonna tell you why. I'm gonna tell you why. I'm
gonna tell you why. Because Southern is playing at home.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
They are.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
There's not there's not They're not playing they're not playing
at a state or or neutral site game. They're not
playing at a class again, They're playing at home. It's
not a special event per se. It's a regular home
game again. So you're trying to you're comparing apples to oranges. Man,
you want to compare the State Fair Classic to a

(30:07):
general home that. Man, we just had less than than
two thousand people show up at home, and you want
to get excited about a potential fifty to seventy thousand
people at Dallas. What's the Russiel behind that?

Speaker 4 (30:21):
My corner reference is than it was for the individual
individual and individuals who want to always say that prays
fan base does not support them. I don't care if
it's at home. I don't care if it's at your
grandmother's house for.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
A family reunion.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Support is support, so I said. And I'm saying it
will be interesting to see the popular games. And I'm
not saying the games are one is more popular than another,
but I am saying it the popular games this week
or or will be the Alabama State game against Floridian,

(31:02):
we can agree disagree, it will be the Jackson State
and Southern game, we can agree to disagree, and we
can say the Gramlin Praisie game. Those are probably gonna
be the top three kind of games to watch, to see,
to attend, and it will be interesting to see what
this team is.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
Okay, yeah, it is apples and oranges. I mean you
have the State Fair. I mean you're getting your bang
for your butts. I mean you're getting go to the
State Fair, you know, get your uh, get your turkey
leg and you know, play these different games and then
you have the actual game and you have a concert.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
You know that's the other games.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
You know, they just have the football game. So well,
I'm not up again. I'm not getting caught up in that.
See that go over.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Well, I'm not that's your opinion. I'll validate that. I'm
just saying it'll be instant just to compare the Privy
game against Bramlin and what will be the attendant of
the dram in Southern game for to buy you past
again the point I was making the idea of people
wanting to comment say that there is no support being

(32:12):
all you can do is compare games.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Okay, you asked coach Jackson if you feel like they're support.
You ask coach Jackson if he believed they're support.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
Okay, So that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
This is unbelievable. Okay. With that, With that, you got
any closing thoughts? You guys got any closing thoughts for today?

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Oh? We almost through.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
Talk about Well one closing point I want to bring
just have my money on next week.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
That'll be that.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
The next one.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah, I'll leave it at that. Yeah, I'll leave it.

Speaker 6 (32:53):
Oh No, I can't leave it at that.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
I just thought about it. I had a couple of
closing points.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
But but he's to fright, brothers of mine, I just
thought about it.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Thank you lord.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
He just write somebody attention.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
They love to talk about the bottom barrel and the
outhouse and the Tallet Bowl and all that kind of stuff.
In the Fantasy league this week, all brother Ben messed
up between his two fright brothers.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
They tagged teams and do you know what the outcome was? Oh,
you don't know, because they told to be quiet. If
they were one, they'd have been.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Vot what old Tallet Bowl number one and taler Bowl
number two?

Speaker 6 (33:36):
They went down in the seat and.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
That wasn't meat And I won't say nothing.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Okay, Ben, thank you for that humble brag.

Speaker 6 (33:48):
But uh well I wanted to say something else, but
that was enough.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:53):
Well we actually, me and Doctor Prince really didn't want
you to go. I went three starting off the season.
So you're welcome for that first window to see them.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
You got one win, like me, right?

Speaker 2 (34:07):
You behind me? You behind me?

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
It's still early. It's still early, but you're welcome for
your first window.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're welcome.

Speaker 5 (34:20):
Let's see my closing thoughts are okay, panthers, Hey, this
is where the rubber meets the road. You know, we
we had all the hype talk during the spring the summer,
you know, we came out, came out like Gang Busters
against t s U laid an Egg against Real. Grand

(34:42):
had a tough one this last week with Northwestern, so
now hey, it's time to uh sut up and shut up.
So let's uh, let's go out there and and then
another conference game.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
All right, Well, I definitely believe that this week's matchup
is a game of destiny for both programs coaches. Coach
Joseph is somewhat on a hot seat. Coach Jackson's not
on a hot seat, but he's at a critical, i think,
turning point of the program's identity and backing up the

(35:24):
bravado that has been exposed leading up to the season,
and right now this is the role, the degree of separation,
and I expect a competitive game. But whoever ends up
short on this one, I think it's going to have
a very tough role to climb. Even though Purview already

(35:48):
has a conference game under their belt with the win,
I think it's going to be a lot on the table,
as should be, especially when it comes to conference play.
