Speaker 1 (00:02):
And welcome back to the locker room where it's time
for us to break down the week that was and
the week that lies ahead. And we are joined none
other than by the Google himself, coach Van Petaway. Coach,
how you doing today, sir, I'm.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Doing great this morning.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
This is another great day that He's given us, and
I'm just happy and I'm doing my best.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
To rejoice in it.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Well, you do your best and I do my best.
We just might get some things accomplished, sir, and I'm
okay with that. Well, we had a very interesting weekend
throughout the conference and some strange results, some unexpected results,
but we got what we got.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Coaching, it's time for some grades.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Oh yes, oh yes, it was another great week of
Flack football. And we're gonna go ahead and get started here.
We'll start at Texas Southern where they played host Arkansas
Poem Blood and Texas Southern did a number, did a number,

(01:06):
and I don't think many expected this. On Arkinsaw Pine
Buff they beat him fifty one to seven.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I'm gonna give a Texas.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Southern and A and Arkansas Pine Bluff.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Gotta take a deal on this one.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Well, Coach Texas southern and act like they caught somebody
in their backyard stealing, and they said, how dare you
know you ever got one of them whooping's coach where
your pop was talking to you while he was whipping
at the same time. Hey, hey, man, that's exactly what
that was. I gave him an eighth plus because I

(01:40):
was like, where has this been? Yep, all all of
my life and I'm gonna have to give uh pime
bluff you gave me. I came a C minus And
the only reason I gave him a C minus because
in spite of it all, coach Steal was upbeat and
I don't know how he keeps doing it, and uh
he came. They just do the lack of motivation where

(02:02):
he showed doing all he can to keep his guys
in the fight. But that man, they showed up to
a gunfight with a switchblade. They didn't have a chance, man,
they didn't have a chance.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Absolutely absolute. And then, of course the game of the week.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Alabama State and Badoon Cookman, Alabama State showed who they
are this year. Alabama State won that game fifty two
to thirty five. I'm gonna give Alabama State an A
plus and Bathorne Cookman believes or not, I'm gonna give Cookman.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
A mean, you know it's funny you say.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I actually gave this gonna sound so crazy and a
plus for Alabama State. And I gave an a minus
to the Throne Cookman. And the reason I gave a
minus to Madune Cookman.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
They surprised me.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
They probably surprised themselves that they were that competitor with
Alabama State.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
And well, you know what, they didn't surprise me because
I saw him live. I saw them live against my
poor Piti for Bulldogs. But I knew, I knew Cookman
could play Man that. You know, that's a different mindset
this year. Uh for the Wildcats and uh uh And

(03:17):
I gave him that beat. But I think that's the
team nobody wants to see down the streets.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah, they were clicking pretty high, but that he tells
us how much higher in Alabama State is clicking?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Man, that they're they're they're putting up video game numbers.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Coach, Yes, sir, that body man. I don't know why
tech his son allowed him to get out the state,
but man that he is. Uh, now he's putting up
video game numbers.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
He's just an out standing job. He's spreading that ball
all over the field.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Well, when he when he declared he was leaving, I
showed put in that purple and gold hat.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
I'm not exaggerating.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Coach.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
I was like, hey man, this kid is for real,
you know.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
And I don't mean to call him a kid, a
disrespectful way man compared.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
To me, he is a kid.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
But you know, I was like, if he could stay healthy,
there is nothing that this young man can't accomplish. You know,
he went to Alabama State that first year. Here come
another nagging injury and people go like, is this dude
just fools though, or is he really legit? You see

(04:26):
how healthy is and how legit he is. And I'm
not saying he don't have a chance, but he can
play on the next level if it's not in the NFL,
the CFL, somewhere.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Coach, He's that good at least to me.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Right, I agree with you. I think he has a future.
He has a future after he leaves Alabama State.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Well, so Alabama State put that fifty piece and there
was another fifty piece scored. On Saturday, died in Mobile.
My Bulldogs played host.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
To Jackson State.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Jack State won that game fifty seven to twenty. More,
Jackson State will get an A plus and my bulldogs
got to take other on this now I got.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, I'm sorry. They gotta get a D on this.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Hold on a D coach here.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
They got to get a D because you.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Got to be able to score up more than twenty
four points and you definitely cannot give up fifty seven.
We don't know what Russian defensive. We can't even spell it. Man,
we don't Russian defense. What is that? That's something foreign
in the game of football.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
But yeah, very disappointed in my bulldogs.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
But the show must go on.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Okay, Well, look, I guess.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
When it comes to your old alma mater, we're a
little rough and than we are we are.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I actually gave.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Him a Sea coach, and the reason I gave him
C because it did score twenty four points against a
juggernaut which is called Z. I love j as you man,
JSU and Alabama State. Unfortunately, unfortunately, somebody's gonna lose yep,
and somebody is gonna miss out on a phenomenal season

(06:13):
to represent the East from for the SWAT Championship game.
And E of course I'm giving Jackson State an A.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Plus plus because there's no stopping them.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Man, I really wish now when you look at the
crystal ball, that this Jackson State Alabama State game was
the final game of the regular season.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Right, But I'm will.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Tell you something that I wasn't even more.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I mean, this is the scenario I would love to
see because Alabama State is not else for the playoffs.
I want for that reason and that reason only I want.
I want Alabama State to win the game against JSU

(07:02):
because then JSU would have an opportunity to go to
the playoffs. And I think, I think in the playoffs
they can do some damage Toabama State is not else
because of Turkey they.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Classes, right yep.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
So so that's.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
The scenario that I would love to see.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
But there by father.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Two best teams playing football in the Swack this year,
this should have been a year that all nine. I mean,
they went with no divisions and they went with the
two best teams.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Look, look, it might I might hurt a pre person
who you might be pigging in one of the games
this week.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Right, and then finally, finally, you know, you go from
to fifty pieces uh to a baseball scorer then we
had TV at All Course State, and boys, they are
really really mild up down there on the reservation. Prayerview
won that game thirteen to twelve. I'm gonna give your

(08:05):
TV Prayerview an A because they did win the game.
Of course, date is gonna get a C.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Ooh ooh, coach an A.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Yeah, I give ads out for wins.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Oh okay, Well, like I said, I'm gonna have to
sign up for your class then, because I can see
minus and my panthers.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, I I gave see to TEENA one. Yes, I
gave I believe it or not, I gave a C
to All Coin. Okay, now your coach you Okay, maybe
I'm a hard a task master. I'm explaining myself why

(08:51):
by for prayer of y'all played all Coin.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
The score should not have been that close.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
But when you have nine for ninety nine yards, okay,
critical penalties. They had a block punt scooping score negated
because of penalty they called leaping. Okay, whatever you want.
I don't know how you're gonna block U punt unless
you leap. But oh well, okay. Then you had a
couple of other big offensive plays that were called back

(09:22):
or either holding a personal files. Okay, you had a
missed field goal which could have given you a little
bit more.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Degree of separation.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Okay, And there were a couple of decisions made in
the heat of the moment. They make it, what are
you doing? So that's why I gave a C minus, sir,
That's why I all coin. I gave a CE because
they they struggled. Now what I like low scoring affairs,
I really do. But all Corn gave it all they had,

(09:57):
you know, for what they did have, and they hung around.
But it was due to the mishandleder mismanagement, let me say,
a perview's execution.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
So that's why I came a C minus.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
So now you say you like low scoring game, but
you predicted twenty seven to twenty I did. I predicted
twenty five to twenty. So therefore you want that I
won on that one. I want on that one. But
now do you think the offensive struggles for TV can

(10:30):
be fixed?

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yes, And part of it we're playing this two headed monster.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
You know, we have.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Carter and Peters. You know, you flipping a coin. Who's
gonna play this week? Who's gonna play this series? Who's
gonna play this half and it throws off I think
the camaraderie and everything coming together as one because you
never can tell, and teams respond to different coach I mean,

(11:09):
not culture, but different players or quarterbacks in this case,
whether it's cadence call, the way they release the ball,
it's just a totally different thing. And right now it's
just kind of up and down. That's part of that
that C minus factor, you know. And I know it's
a good feeling, but they tell me, if you got
two three quarterbacks in the room, you.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Really don't have any right And that's that's what we
got right now.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
But here's the thing that you also have to down.
You're leading the west of vision.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
Oh no doubt.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
See, And that's what I'm saying. I'm not I try
not to look at this as a pure fan coach.
I'm looking at it as a slash reporter, analyst, fan supporter,
and so I have to put the emotional part to
the side the fan.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
I have to put the emotional part of.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
A support to the sign and let the reporter analysts
part take over. And when I look at this analytically,
there there and and and and coach Jackson will admit it.
They're far from where they need to be considered as
a finished product.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Right, because when when when you look at these races, UH,
Alabama State and Jackson State are tied in the East,
uh praiview is three and on and then you got
surprise Texas Sutterns look out two and one. UH in
the West uh prail views riding riding a three game
winning street. Texas Sutthern's won two in a row, Alabama

(12:37):
States won four in a row, Jackson State has won
three in a row. But that's gonna lead us up
to this week. Well, some of this will have to change.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
It'specially on Yes, indeed, yes, yes, indeed.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
All right, and so with that being said, that brings
up to this week's matchups. All right, we're gonna start
down on a reservation where Lincoln is that all Corn States?

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I think I don't think we even have to uh.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
The byard well and the true de babies. Will Lincoln
even show up?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Yeah, that is true because at one point I don't
know if that people have been keeping up with it,
but they'll talk that that would not that game would
not go off. But we have been assured that it
will be played.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Well, that's the thing, Lincoln. Lincoln is not only playing
All Corns this week. They played Mississippi Valley next week
and then the week after that they play Prairie View.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
So they've been to swack slaw Man.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Yep, yep, they got a swack skits. Yes, right, and uh,
I guess we need to be trying to see which
team is going to give up a touchdown to Lincoln
out of all Lincoln at all calls. We both agree
that All carn will win a game this weekend. All

(13:53):
here's one that is going to be very intriguing. North
Carolina Central be at Florida and them.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
How did you see that, sir?

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Well, earlier in the season, I would have seen Sam you,
But I'm gonna have to go to North Carolina Central.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Right, absolutely serve without a doubt, without a dout, sir.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
And they have an offensive joggerot in North at.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
The North Carolina Central, Yes, sir, Arkansas pine Bluff. They're
playing at home. It must be home coming when you
don't recognize the teams that they're playing.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
They have Westgate at Arkansas pine.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Bluff, where all I'm gonna tell you is gonna be
an escape for west Gate because Pine Bluff they gonna
take that whip and they receive from Texas Southern and
they about to dish it out to West Gate. I'm
gonna take the Golden Lions at home, sir.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Alrighty okay, And and I brief we both agree on
Now Texas Southern at Grammy's.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Gonna be at Yes, it is going to be interested, sir,
But I'm gonna leave Texas Southern's gonna make it happen.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
I think I'm gonna I agree with you. I think
Texas Southern's playing yeah the football right now, yes, sir.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
And I'm going with.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Texas Southern also.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
All right? So now Southern is that the Thule Cookman?

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Well, the way things have been going of late, and
I showed hated for brother Grays.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Yep, what we're doing Wildcats is doing. I'm gonna have
to take the Wildcats coach.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
I agree, I agree, I agree with putting points on
the board.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Southern can't stop anybody.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
So why is that coach? Why do you think that
he is?

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Do you think it's the schemes, the Jimmy's and the
Jones or it's just bad luck.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
I think it's a combination of all of that, and
I think the biggest thing is they can't.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Southern came into the season wanted to.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Rely on their defense, and that's the first thing that
broke down on this team.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Their defense.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
In that first game against North Carolina Central, they couldn't
stop anybody. And then our defensive player.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Of the year candidate, he's know what, you don't even
hear about him this year?

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Right for Southern, So so things are just off the
rail right now. The only thing that you can hope
is that because they did have an off the coming
off and off week, that they have an opportunity to
put together a scheme that can.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
A chump to slow down Bethune Cookman.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
The road.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Oh heck no, no, that does not work, sir.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
I'm sorry that wrong. Click click make I tried, man,
I show tried.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Good shot, good shot.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I'm gonna go ahead and do my my alma model.
Missive Valley comes to Alabama A and M for homecoming.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
How do you see it, sir?

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Well, I'm gonna have to take the Bulldogs, even though
even I have a fondistro Valley yep, and and Valley
has gotten better, even though it's hadn't showed up in
the win column.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
But but I'm gonna stick with the bull Dogs, right
and I'm.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Going for my bulldogs also.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
All right now, the game of the week, what might
be the game of the year in this way, the
showdown between the Hornets of Alabama State and Jackson's State Tigers.
That game will.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Be played in the Mississippi Coliseum.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
So it's a home game for Jackson State.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Yes it is, Yes, it is.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
This one is probably gonna separate us.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
How do you see this game, sir?

Speaker 4 (17:55):
Well, I.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Hate to pick one, to be honest with Yes, it's
that intriguing, at least for meanings.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
We just have a time.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
I know, I know Rodney can't take We all just
get along man this. But but in all fairness, I
think I'm gonna have to take Jackson State because of
the fact they.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Are at home. You did add a little wrinkle into
it about what could happen down the road.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
With potential playoffs, But that's not my problem with this week, sir.
My problem is I think that Jackson is going to
find a way to win at home. Although there's going
to be a tall task, there's going to be an
exciting game.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
I'm gonna have to stick with Jackson State.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Well, I agree with you.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
The only the only reason why I'm going.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
With Jackson State is because the game is in Mississippi, and.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
I think, wait, I mean, wait a minute, wait, I
think Jackson State will find a way because they're playing
at home.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
Wait a minute, minut.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
You didn't gave me all this Alabama propaganda about the
playoffs and then you're picking Jackson State.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, Well you tried to lure me
here to say, like the coach, that was part of
the plan, that was part of Oh.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Man, he tried to he tried to pull one over
me on the old gurus.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Man reached down deep in the treasure chests, man to
come up with some okie do moves.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
But it didn't.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah yeah, but but but I'm I'm that's gonna be
a game, coach.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
That's gonna be a game. Yeah, that's gonna be a game.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
And ESPN has picked that game up, I know, so
well yeah, yeah, they see the interest and uh they
looking at those numbers. So ESPN has jumped in and said,
oh we we we got this one.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Well, it's it's it's it's sweet beautiful. How you just
rolled into what's going to be topic of the week.
Coach you talked about, ESPN chose or flex their muscle
to do this game. And there's a movement being made
right now by some private equity groups, you know, and

(20:16):
they're talking about how everybody is being sold out by
giving up their entire broadcast rights to all from the order,
not to all, but to the major media partners. Correct,
but they're only putting emphasis on football and basketball, and

(20:38):
to be quite honest with you, mean's basketball.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
And if they.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Choose not to promote and highlight the other sports with
intensity as they do for football and basketball, then that's
broadcast rights being severely underserved and undervalue. So now there's
a a new break, or a proposed break, that they

(21:05):
separate the women's basketball and the Olympic sports baseball, softball,
and everything else to its own media market where you
can create more revenue. And I want to see what
you think about that potential move.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Well, if I'm all about the money, I think wherever
we can get the dollar, that's what we need to
be focusing on. I think, because we're already behind the
eight ball. Wherever we can get the dollars. I'm for that.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
I'm for that, That's just the way I see.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
But what the money has to be there, Well, the
money has to be there, But what it does is
introduce another potential layer, i e. Problem of another streaming source,
a platform you will have to pay to get access
to these games.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
And when we talk about the.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
The money, personally, I think we got too much streaming
going on. It's just everywhere you look, there's a streaming opportunity.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
And I get it, that's what the market can bear.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
But everybody has to understand, as good as your product is,
as proud as you are your product, it's not necessarily
a national product.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
It could be a What made.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
College sports college sports is the regional redraw in your
regional identification to it has, you know, you being an
Alabama man, you know you're You're not only just with
roll tied Alabama are in Alabama state. But Miles has
an interest in you and in other n regional programs,

(22:56):
and I think there needs to be more concentration to
it that.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
In my own humble opinion service, well.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Yeah, I think it's just mind involving the amount of money.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
That's out there now, whether or not we're getting our
lines share that that's the difference. That that's the subject
for another another day.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
But I just think that within im and everything that's
going on.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
That's cost of these institutions money.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
You gotta find a way now, you gotta find a way.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
To make money for these programs.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
And if that money is gonna come, if that money
I said, is gonna come through through the TV market,
then we have to take advantage of that.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Well we do, we do, But here's the conundrum that
we have. Coach college athletes or college athletics was never
designed in its pure concept to make money. It was
never designed for that. And because of that, we're gonna

(24:09):
have to implement some some new rules and the models.
You gotta have a baseline and you're gonna have to
have a ceiling. If you're gonna contribute on this level
of college sports, your baseline or minimum should be this
much you invest m.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Your max should be this. If you're gonna go the vision.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
If you're gonna go Power four, Power UH or Division one, FCS,
Division two, Division three, n AI that way you create
a more balanced environment, if you would.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
There are no inside leverage moves.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Right now, because now is whoever got the biggest bat
or the biggest stick is gonna win in this case
the biggest bag, and and and so you're creating what
appears to be an equal playing field, but it's all
in the losing coach, because you know, like I know,
just like the nil, there.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Is nothing but truth coming to the light.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
They've been paying these guys for centuries, but we just
got invited to the party from now we got our
little change. Oh man, that ain't number chuck change. That's
all you can offer me. Well, they gonna offer me this.
I'm gonna be the third string quarterback and they take
it and run. So we got to set some baselines, right.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
But see, but charity is dunce at home. And I
think first of all, we got to do a better
job at our.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Own house with our own people.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Because you know, the thing that I've been hopping on
this year, it stuck his ugly head out there again
this this week. When you look at attendance, all Come
played their first home game. According to them, they only
drew forty three hundred people their first home game. Now Southern,

(26:01):
they only drew four thousand people. Four thousand people for
a home game. The Alabama State they'll win it and
their attendant shows and they had twenty four thousand in
attendance in Montgomery and then of course A and M
and Jackson State and Mobile. It's still low ball. Fourteen
thousand people in Lads Stadium. So yeah, shit, we have

(26:25):
to we gotta find a way to take care of
our own houses before all.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Well, you know what it's like, coach. It's like being
invited to a pool party, right, and the.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
Center of attraction is what the pool pool? Yes, then
you have people who will get dressed in a bathing suit.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
All the year that goes with it, but never get
it wet.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
They never get in the pool. They never get in
the pool. They went to the.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Pool party, but they was went there for the cocktails,
the social gathering, you know, and they I AM not
getting in the pool, you know, for whatever reason, but
they want to be in the atmosphere. And then you
have people who don't bring half of anything, but they
just come to get wet. They just come to their
men whatever it's gonna say, can we get in the
pool yet? Can we get in the pool yet? You know,

(27:22):
they don't want to wait thirty minutes after they eat
they really get in the pool. And that's what we
got going on in our environments. And yeah, I know people,
well it's just not us. It is at other institutions.
But I didn't go to other institutions. I'm not worried
about those other institute. Worried about my institution. Our institutions,

(27:43):
and they've they've gone with different themes, different schemes. But
you know what, I've come to the conclusion, coach, you
just got to care, you just and unfortunately.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
Our fans don't really care.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
They're more casual fans than hardcore fans. It does mean
no good to travel three four hundred miles from per
Review to Dallas to say, man, we had sixty thousand
people there, and then you won't even come to your
out your back door to go to the game, almost

(28:23):
basically for free. But then you'll spend money on RV's,
you'll spend money on hotels, you'll spend money.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
On traveling, and then as they say.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Robbing Peter to pay Paul, then come back sucking your
thumb for the next two weeks to rebound and recover,
where you can come home at a local environment and
have just as grand of a time whether your team
is winning or losing, will use that excuse.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Well, well, all cornering they had won a game, that's
why I didn't go. Well, maybe if you show up,
they might help me win a game.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Yep, you know.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
And you got these kids, you get getting and I
get this. I'm gonna get off this. So about your
ticket has already been accounting for, Yep, showing up, Yep, yep, yep,
show up, even if you want to show up to
harams R.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
That said, that's why I say we got to start
at all.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Yes sir, yes sir, But you know, so the mantra
that you know there's other value in the other sports,
I do believe that. But once again, with everything at
the access of a remote that you can click, that's
going to deter a lot of people from him to
come and be a part of it too.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
Ye you know.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
So it's another one of those as the world turns,
you know, and we'll continue to monitor and see exactly
I didn't gain no ground on you this week, neither coach.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
No, no, I'm well aware of that, sir, Yes sir, yes sir.
We we gotta find a way to say, uh we
we gotta find a way to.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Well, you know, the vitralizing this week is a no brain.
It's Missouri Alabama at Missouri. Okay, well you know you
know that, right, Okay.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Well I'll tell you what.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
You go with your Missouri Tigers, and I got.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
My absolute lot going with them.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying, sir. You ain't known flinching,
no quivering over here.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Okay, I got you there, sir.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Okay, Well I'm rolling tide all the way, sir.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Yes, sir, and we're gonna roll with them tigers.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Baby.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Well there's old saying we say back in Missouri. It
says in my z z O U. So it's all
about Missou Baby.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
I got you, I got the look we state is.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
To show me state. But I'll tell you what the
tibe will roll.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Okay then okay, then and enough said, sir, enough saying,
and we don't convene to continue this conversation next week
as a matter of fact, And with that, sir, with that,
I'm gonna give you an.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Opportunity to speak.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Your road tide, your bulldogs and all whatever you got
to say.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Then we're gonna wrap this segment up, sir.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Yes, sir, well, I just want to encourage you to
continue doing what you're doing. I love this platform, we
having our opportunity to educate not only ourselves but the audience.
And I just love being a part of it, sir.
So you just continue doing what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Well, thank you, sir. We love having you to be
a part of it. Be quite honest with you, it
wouldn't be the same if you were not a part
of it. So we thank you dearly for your participation.
Even though sometimes, you know, you get a little sideways
and some of these road tide comments and you know,
and we'll deal with some bulldogs and we get.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Them later on down in the season.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
But it's always a blast, educational, entertaining and just it's
just a good old time, sir.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
And like I said, each time we talk, we discover
that we got.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
More kindred spirits than we realize. And that's another beautiful
thing about this. And it's really to be honest with y'all.
Y'all might not know there are no scripts involved here.
Oh yeah, we just we just as they say, let
it roll, we we go with it and and you
get what you're getting. I think that's part of what
makes this Uh, this sex session uh as good as

(32:33):
it's being, at least to me coach, you know, and
and those that appreciate it. So we just really appreciate
the Google being a part of it, appreciate you guys being.

Speaker 4 (32:42):
A part of it as well.

Speaker 1 (32:42):

Speaker 4 (32:58):

The time is come.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Why I must exit stage left. So until the next time,
you guys, be

Speaker 4 (33:09):
Blessed and we'll see you on the other side.
